you say ‘the prophecy is remus coded’ but what if i said that it’s lily coded? it’s about lily losing faith in dumbledore, lily trying to find a way to keep harry safe from the prophecy, lily BEGGING for her sons life.

We actually don't talk enough about Taylor playing WCS at her 19th show, pairing it with Mine from Speak Now, right after announcing the rerecord, and then not playing another Speak Now song for 13 shows until she played Haunted at her 32nd, because it's objectively one of the funniest things she's ever done.

it needs to be said, the smallest man who ever lived is the most marauders coded ttpd song!!!
yes im aware of the black dog. yes im aware of peter. yes im aware of the prophecy. yes im aware of fresh out the slammer.
the smallest man who ever lived is the MOST marauders coded song on the album, it's crazy
it fits so many characters and its insane
lily to snape???
regulus to sirius???
james and lily to peter???
sirius to remus when he thought he was the traiter???
sirius to peter after he was sent to azkaban???
remus to sirius when sirius was sent to azkaban cause he was the 'traitor'???
the song is about the marauders.

"why is it called 'tortured poets department' if taylor is neither a poet nor was she tortured.
this is actually a frequent misconception. you see, her large house has an even larger basement. it is in fact so large, that she divides it in departements. the album title refers to where she keeps her kidnapped poets to torture and abuse them. hope this helps!

No okay the WCS -> Dear Reader -> Mine (Taylor's Version) pipeline makes me so mentally ill.
Okay so for starters, I think all of Midnights and Speak Now are reflective sister albums and I have evidence throughout to discuss, but that's for another post, right now I wanna focus on the end of Midnights.
The album becomes more Speak Now centric in the final tracks. We have WCS as the penultimate track, directly reflecting on the Speak Now era ("at nineteen") and putting it at the forefront of the mind. Then, in our final track, we have Dear Reader, which takes on the letter format of Speak Now, most clearly exemplified in Dear John. It is a recreation of the concept of Speak Now, only this time it's addressed to the reader instead of the perpetrator, in the hopes of being able to save someone from the same fate ("I'll look back in regret how I ignored when they said 'run as fast as you can'" -> "Dear Reader, get out your map, pick somewhere and just run / "when you aim at the devil, make sure you don't miss").
Flash forward to May 5, and Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is announced. Taylor posts an excerpt from the prologue on her story, that says "I have always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be. I consider this music to be, along with your faith in me, the best thing that's ever been mine." She specifically references these two songs, addressing Dear Reader to the reader of Speak Now.
48 hours pass, (well maybe 50/51ish) and it's her 19th show. She plays WCS (with Aaron in the rain — not super relevant to the point but relevant to my life. Also rain = curls so it was a paid actor), and then sits down at the piano to follow it up with talking about Speak Now as an album and then, of course, playing Mine.
Midnights transitions into Speak Now seamlessly and for a reason. The album ending on WCS and Dear Reader to then lead us into Speak Now TV era was not unintentional. The entire album is just one big SNTV Easter egg, but again, I'll get more into that later.
