you say ‘the prophecy is remus coded’ but what if i said that it’s lily coded? it’s about lily losing faith in dumbledore, lily trying to find a way to keep harry safe from the prophecy, lily BEGGING for her sons life.

btw Dream Girl Evil by Florence + the Machine was written about lily evans
the way snape treated her like a perfect fantasy “dream girl” that he could project onto but the second she did something he didn’t like and shattered the illusion by being an actual multilayered human being he became enraged and turned on her
and the way the fandom does the same exact bullshit, treating her like a perfect saint mother and wife instead of an actual realistic human being with flaws and complexities, and then the second she doesn’t serve a man’s story (cough cough jegulus shippers cough cough) they turn her into a villain or toss her aside completely

Me, when I was just starting on both AO3 and Tumbler fandoms - I will never read any smut, especially not the kinky type! I want beautifully written interactive works that show the inner workings of humanity. I will never read or be part of a non-canon ship nor will I have it take place anywhere except where the original story took place. I will not tolerate headcanons because that is against the unwritten Book/TV show rules.
Me now - on AO3 and Tumbler at 3 am and reading smutty works that would probably make me end up in hell about two gay characters that were both mentioned once and most likely never interacted with each other in canon at all while it is taking place in an exact opposite of where the actual story took place and having so many headcanons that I'm not even sure what was the reality of the story in the first place, all the while there are somehow so many plot holes in the storythat it put swiss cheese to shame.
