do you think arian Knew that stewy was going to be gay, or was that just something he himself brought to the character? either way, it's just so funny to know his one version of a businessman is the gayest one possible. and I know interviewers have asked him about kendall and stewy's relationship before, but I wish they could've asked him just about stewy's sexuality in general, like I feel like his relationship with the roys is one of the least interesting parts of stewy as a character. he's so fascinating, like I want to know all the little things about that character that I feel like arian has definitely thought about, which is probably why he's such a well-lived character.

arian had originally auditioned to play lawrence yee, and when they asked him back to read for stewy instead, he said he didn’t really change much about his performance. but i also think stewy was always meant to be a little 👀 considering what we’ve seen from the original scripts Plus yes i absolutely agree and think a lot of this was arians work in bringing so much to the character. even with the extra lines in the script that suggest this or that, stewy in the scripts falls completely short of stewy on screen and that’s all arian

Like yessss blur the lines between platonic and romantic love. show how important they are to you in a multifaceted way. Cover up your feelings with another kind of love that is just as true. One type of love does not negate the other and but tragedy can rip both out from under you single handedly, and it will hurt so much more that way. Losing a friend and a lover. Gaining both and not needing any labels for what they are. Using labels but having it be so much more than a title. Were they friends before they were lovers? Or were they lovers whose friendship grew inside of their love? Unclear! Who cares!

shouto accidentally gets drunk while out with you and some other friends and he's sitting there in the heat of the bar, watching you smile bright and laugh wholeheartedly with your hair a little messy and your eyeliner smudged a bit—and he gets suddenly and completely overwhelmed with the desire to kiss you.

which is exactly what he does when you manage to get him home. it's kind of awkward because he doesn't kiss many people and he's also drunk and gangly and looming over you, but you let him crowd you against his front door until the both of you nearly run out of breath.

and you push him away gently with a quiet laugh, telling him, "okay, slow your roll, loverboy. how about we do this when you're sober, huh?" because you're not sure if he means it and you don't want to get your hopes up for something he won't even remember tomorrow.

but he absolutely does remember it, and now he can't look at you without feeling that unfamiliar white-hot strike of desire lighting up his body.

can't carry a conversation for shit , sounds too blunt , hates emojis , down right refuses to learn either . so he sends photos and voice memos . tells you about his day when he has the time , sends pictures of things that reminded him of you or what he thought you might like . ( pictures of his meals , the unit , holding his tea with the bracelet you gave him on full display )

he likes how much you text him though , no matter how long he doesnt reply you always keep him updated on your day . goodmornings and goodnights , rants about rude coworkers or customers , what cute dogs you saw today , how your cat shredded the corner of the couch again . he likes the little things . makes him feel like hes at home , listening to you ramble while you clean or relax after work . gives him something to look forward to thats not just clean clothes and his measly cot after a day out in the field

and if you send him more than just updates . . give him something to hide away in a private folder of his phone , guard with his life when the sergeants ( and price for that matter ) tease him . well who is he to say no to getting such gifts from his sweet thing back home . maybe he'll send a few of his own when he has the time alone .
