Now I have a question. If they had him on their own, like had a surrogate, or something where it was James's juice (and in trans!Regulus cases where it's agreed upon and he births him) but Lilly wasn't involved.... Would they still name him Harry James? Would Regulus argue a different first name? Would he like giving him James's name as a middle name?

How did Pete’s ankles get tied up in those chains? Did Vegas really pause for a moment to coil them up? Because I imagine that would’ve taken significant time to do. Those things are wrapped tight. And so perfectly too. But then again, I’m sure Vegas is a pro at this sort of thing by now...👀

I was also going to point out that they would hurt, but that doesn’t seem like a good argument considering Pete seems to enjoy pain to a certain extent.

Hello, everyone. Does anyone else ever think of that silky midnight green robe? Don’t think about Pete finding it and putting it on after bath/showering. He proceeds to the kitchen (pretend it’s the safe house as much as it’d actually suck for Pete going back there). But really I just need a visual of Pete in the robe and a location. Vegas is cooking dinner. With one look at Pete in that midnight green robe, it’s absolutely plausible to assume they will no longer eat the prepared food. That robe holds power and in fact, it’d probably never come all the way off. That whole slightly draped off the shoulders thing as Vegas’s lips make contact all over Pete’s body. I’m not not saying that the belt thing is used to tie someone’s hands. And I’m not not saying that they’d most definitely ravage each other instead of eating dinner.

Writing quirk in multiple books I've read lately that's starting to bug:

I blinked.

She blinked at him.

He blinked at me.

He blinked at the object.

Like. Do people not just................ blink? How do you "blink at" something? It's an automatic process. You do it because your eyes get dry.

It is often supposed to indicate surprise, or act as a pause, or show a character going "can't believe they just said that/ that just happened" kind of moment. So. Why not say so? Why not say they jump or startle or give someone a blank look? Why is it always blinking?
