DP x MCU crossover
Sometime after Howard and Maria Stark’s death, Hydra decides to try and make a clone of Tony Stark, that’s infused with Super Soldier serum. They were hoping to get a super smart super soldier that they could control.
And thus Danny was born.
At some point when he’s like 2 or 3 one of the Hydra agents whose been his handler since he was born grows a conscious after witnessing the most recent experiment the other scientists in the lab put Danny through. They take Danny and run away from the lab. They don’t get away clean tho, they had to fight their way out of the lab and they were injured in the process. They wind up in Amity Park with baby Danny and come across the Fenton Parents. They hand Danny over to them and tell them to protect and look after the kid. And then they die.
The Fenton parents adopt Danny and raise him as their own. Danny grows up not knowing he’s adopted or that he’s a clone and a super soldier. The ghost portal accident happens when he’s 14 like cannon. The reason he survived and only half died is because of the super soldier serum in his blood.
Eventually, after the whole events of the Danny Phantom series has passed (minus Phantom Planet because fuck that horrible ending to the series). Danny, after defeating Pariah Dark, is now the king of the ghost zone. He still doesn’t realize he’s a clone of Tony Stark. Despite the fact that he looks exactly like a 17 year old version of the man!!!
And then New York happens. A portal opens up in the skies above New York, and aliens come pouring out of it! You bet your ass Danny hightailed it over to New York to help out the group of heroes that were trying to stop the aliens. He’s super hyped to fight aliens!!! He’s just having a blast zooming through the skies of New York, around skyscrapers, throwing punches and ecto-blasts at aliens, helping out the other heroes.
Meanwhile every time he helps one of the Avengers they all double take when they finally get a look at his face. Cause like yes this floating glowing child has glowing green eyes and Snow White hair, but the rest of his face looks like a very young Tony Stark. After each encounter with the boy the different Avengers call Tony over the coms to ask his status and to reassure themselves that Tony hadn’t been de-aged and given super powers mid battle.
Tony is the last one of them that meets Danny. He’s super annoyed at the fact everyone keeps calling him over the coms to ask his status. Like yeah he’s not a super soldier and doesn’t have powers, but neither does Romanoff or Barton!!! And unlike them he has his own super suit to protect him. So why is everyone calling in to check on him?!!!
And then finally Danny comes zooming around a building chasing after Loki’s chariot, shouting sarcastic quips at the god, while firing green blasts from his fists. And Tony just kind of blue screens for a minute. Jarvis has to take over piloting the suit for a minute while Tony reboots. He’s def got the surprised Pikachu face going on. Finally he reboots but Danny’s already flown off to deal with something else.
The battle comes to an end, the portal closes, the world is safe, and all the Avengers all head towards Stark tower. Danny sees them and where they’re headed and decides to meet them there. He’s been the only super hero around for a while and he wants to actually properly interact with these new hero’s!
Imagine his shock when he actually finally comes face to face with Tony Stark and finally realizes how much he looks like the man. He starts panicking thinking his mom had an affair with the man 17 years ago and just passed him off as Jack Fenton’s son.
Absolute chaos ensues as assumptions are made. DNA tests happen. They realize that no he is not Tony’s kid, he’s Tony’s clone. More assumptions are made. No body is having a good time.

Hank x reader angst/fluff
Like reader getting Hurt and Hank going insanelly mad/protective over them 👀👀
Hank x reader
Insert Title
Summary: You almost die lmao
WARNINGS: Pretty hefty description of gore, blood and an almost dead body, reader gets shot lol
--------------------------------------------------
The alarm screamed as you ran through the halls, emptied out gun in one hand, the other trying its best to reach for your tablet and balance the files you were told to steal at the same time.
When you got it, you checked to make sure you were going the right direction. North West, drive-through storage room, perfect.
On your way there you smashed the alarm disabler off once you passed by it, for good measure. You winced from the glass shards but at least that damn noise was finally off. Picking up a gun from a dead agent, you ran down the building to where you needed to go as fast as possible before any reinforcements come and rough you up even more than you already were.
Eventually reaching the room you were supposed to exit through, you see a strange contraption on the door. You slowed down to check it out, make sure it's not a bomb, and it's...got S.Q inscripted on it? What the fuck?
A weird machine-looking thing with S.Q's logo or whatever tapped on it, stuck on th-
You hear a click and a beeping noise.
As you turn around, you barely have time to see yellow before a shot echoes in the room.
Fuck. You forgot how clever those engineer bastards could be.
* * *
"Hank? Do you hear me?"
Hank brought his bloody hand up to his earpiece.
"Loud and clear. What do you want Doc?"
2BDamned was lucky he only interrupted Hank after he was done killing all the agents in the room, otherwise he would have gotten a way ruder response, if any at all.
Hank wasn't eager on actually listening to anything that was about to be said to him, until the name of his lover was brought up.
"They were supposed to have left the base with the documents by now, but their tracker has been backing away from the exit? I think something happened to them. North-west, 1st floor storage room."
2B didn't need to tell Hank what to do, the latter dropped the corpse he was holding and rushed out like a raging ghost, ready to mow down whatever came across his path.
* * *
The engineer dragged his last victim's body along the floor as he communicated what he found on them.
"Yup, they were the one with the files. Gotta say, I'm surprised at how easy it was to trick them, I might as well have wiggled a cardboard cutout of Nick and they would've fallen for it!"
The radio-like voice laughed before quieting down when something was said in the intercom.
"Make sure to check if they're dead. Stay wary of your surroundings too, last time we checked the rest of 'em were still here."
"Yeah yeah. I'm using a big caliber, I'm sure it'll be good."
The ATP brought the body up to his eyes. There were indeed multiple gaping holes in their body, slowly gushing out blood and leaving a red trail behind him.
"Your optimism will be your downfall engineer, be careful."
"If you say so. Hey, now that we've mentioned Nick, tell him to buy me some smokes when he lea-"
The engineer suddenly whipped his body around, gun pulled up.
"...I heard something. Over."
It's funny how serious he just got, pointing his flashlight and weapon at every corner of the room, slowly advancing, dragging your body with much more care than before.
He begins going down the hall just a little bit faster. Both out of safety, and maybe because of a tiny prick of fear.
While he power walks, he looks back behind him one last time, just to check. The next thing he knew, he bumped against a tall bloody mass.
Just like you, the last thing he saw before blacking out was the splashing of his own blood.
But despite the burning rage, the want to hear this asshole scream until its lungs were fried, the killing machine threw the two halves of the body to the wall and fell to his knees, hands shaking in a frenzy to find out how to make rudimentory treatments before his dearest bled out.
All he could do at the moment was rip up tissues to stuff into the bullet holes and wrap a bandage around the wounds. He would have just torn off hunks of his own flesh to replace yours, but he wasn't yet sure if not only that would lead to an infection or not, or if that would even work any better than cloth.
Even when unconscious, your hands twitched at his first-aid attempts. It hurt. He knew it hurt. But he couldn't do anything about it. And on fucking god if that didn't break his heart. That and the dread of watching the life essence still slowly flow out of you as he called up to Doc.
"Emergency. NOW."
He held you up and ran to the car. No one could see it, but he was praying to any deity that may be left up there for you to be okay.
Protecting you was the best thing he knew to do. Even more than murder. And failing even this once would be a fate worse than an eternity of hell.
* * *
Pain. That was all you felt as the medbay light made you tear up slightly.
You closed your eyes, trying to sleep just a bit more, and potentially numb the horrible pain in your chest, but your attention is now also caught by the muffled voices in the room.
It takes a few minutes and what feels like a few injections for you to finally fully regain consciousness. When your sight unblurs, arm on the forehead to block out the brightness and pain, you see two red circles staring down at you.
"...Hi sweetie."
Hank almost jumps in happiness to his partner speaking up, his cold and calloused hands rubbing over your arm and sides, careful not to touch your many injuries.
"Excited, big guy...?" You tiredly say as you wrapped your arm around his and kissed his wrist. Your voice was weak, but you were smiling and alive and that's all that mattered to him at that moment. "Anything...what happened...?"
"You got shot."
Your eyes widen a bit, you didn't notice 2BDamned in the room until he spoke up while analyzing you a little more.
"Well...yeah, I figured. Anything else?"
"Hank over here finally understood how to not use food wrappings as bandages."
You let out a raspy chuckle. Hank definitely didn't care though, he was too focused on making sure you wouldn't faint and die at any moment.
It took a few minutes before Doc left the room. A few minutes of desperately trying to get to you for further examination without Hank giving him a death glare and pulling his partner away, closer to him.
When 2B finally left the room, he suddenly wrapped his arms around you as gently as possible and pulled you in, resting his head in the crook of your neck and relishing in the feeling of your living skin against his.
"Hanky? You alright?"
"No."
You softly hug him back with a sympathetic look on your face. He was breathing heavily, maybe even shaking a little. He hadn't let you go ever since you woke up, in fact his grip only got tighter and tighter, as if you would fade back away the moment he stopped.
"Hey, it's okay. It was just another little shot, nothing new."
You smile and rub his back, completely unaware of the hours spent to heal you back, of how many times you've flatlined during it, of all the empty blood packets sitting in the trash bin, of how they've genuinely considered just letting you die so they can bring you back later, of all the injections, bandages, tissues, spare organs, and most impirtantly, of how fucking scared Hank was.
Could he have been there to hold your hand while you agonised under 2BDamned, god damn he would have. He would have held it tighter and with more love than any gun he's ever handled. Maybe that's why he seemed so angry at Doc. As reasonable as it was, not being able to get any closer than 10 feet from the love of his life while they were nearly dead was torture.
But it was over now. He could hold you close without your blood staining his clothes. You gotta admit, it was quite pleasant to have basically a living ice pack against you when your entire body felt like you were going through a blender.
You two kept quiet for a bit, appreciating the contact with your lover, before he whispered.
"I'm sorry."
"It wasn't your fault."
"I should've been there."
"You couldn't have known. I should have been more careful if anything."
Hank lifted his head up from your neck before grabbing your cheeks and digging his eyes into yours.
"Don't say that. You got me?"
Your smile widened a bit.
"Sure."
His head fell back onto you after that. How adorable was it to see a ruthless genocidal maniac cuddling up to you like a cat.
--------------------------------------------------
"..."
"Did you save the intel?"
"Fuck if I know. Ask Doc."
"Later. I prefer cuddles right now."
I got lazy with the end sorry

Dan is not a hero, so will the Justice league PLEASE leave him alone?!
When Dan was born, he isn’t just Danny. He’s also half Vlad, which means when he was created their obsessions combined. Danny’s obsession is protection but Vlad’s obsession is family. A ghost’s obsession develops based on how the ghost acts after they are born, what they latch onto, what they like. It usually takes a few weeks to fully form which is why ghosts can have such different obsessions. Danny’s obsession became protection due to his constant actions of protecting people. Vlad’s obsession became to create a family as that is all he thought about during his hospital visits. To make a family with Maddie. Dani even developed her obsession with freedom after she went out exploring. And once an obsession is created, it cements the ghost’s instincts to follow it. That this is what the ghost must continue doing to survive. To get stronger.
But Dan didn’t have that time. He was combined with two ghosts that already had fully formed obsessions, and so those obsessions merged with each other. Dan’s obsession is to protect his family, but by the time it formed, his family was already gone. And that…really messes with a ghost.
Vlad thought that Dan had gone evil because of his evil ghost side. But in reality, it was due to the loss of an obsession. In his initial madness upon formation, he ended up killing Danny. The only person he might have considered family. As for Vlad, the fruitloop hated himself so much that even if part of his ghost, part of his soul, was within Dan, it wouldn’t recognize him as family. And Danny’s ghost half certainly wouldn’t. And when a ghost looses their obsession, they go mad.
All Dan had left, was his own life. He wasn’t truly an older version of Danny. He was something new created from half of two souls. He had parts of both Vlad and Danny. Where Danny was stubborn, Vlad was cunning. Where Danny might feel uncomfortable with social interaction with his peers, Vlad would put on a mask or try to seem more threatening when stressed. He had fragments of their memories but none of the emotional attachment unless it was connected to his obsession. So when a younger him came to his future timeline, all Dan focused on was making sure he would still be created.
And then he lost.
But loosing wasn’t the end. He eventually managed to be free of his cage and sent through therapy (Likely curtesy of Jazz who felt it wrong to keep him trapped forever). And Dan was forced to go through therapy until he eventually got to the point where ok…fine he won’t kill anyone (as long as they don’t attack him first). It also helped that his obsession madness was wearing off. Now that he had his family again, and they were safe, it eased off a bit of the pressure, allowing him to think again.
But now he didn’t know what to do. For the first time in a while, Dan was free. But it wasn’t like he could indulge his obsession. Maddie and Jack hated ghosts and since he’s technically made of two ghost halves, he wasn’t a halfa and couldn’t take a human form or just walk up to them. Moreover, he wasn’t Danny or Vlad so could he truly consider them family?
That’s when he started interacting with Phantom. It was small at first, just checkups to see how his therapy was going or Dan even sneaking into Fenton works to watch what was happening because she was bored. Eventually, they got a bit closer and developed a sibling like relationship (if Dan was a prickly older brother who refused to show he cared) and his obsession latched onto Danny. For a while, Dan was in denial of this. The kid a twerp, only half the power he was (ignoring the fact that the kid beat him) and full of human emotion and teenage drama. So Dan tried to limit his visits. Only coming every month or so. The other time kinda wandering the zone and getting into fights.
And then one day he came to visits only to see a scene from his nightmares.
(Warning for gore)
It was dead quite, the lab covered in green blood, various organs preserved on jars or just lying on the surrounding lab tables. Scalpels, syringes, and other tools dripping green. And on the center of the lab, strapped to a table, was a small blue orb.
Dan knew what a core looked like. He had ripped out enough in his previous timeline to know that they should not be that dim. That they should not have cracks running down their surface, and that they absolutely should not have chunks gouged out of their sides. It barely looked like an orb anymore but there, Dan could faintly feel the energy of a young ghost. And he knew exactly who this core belonged to.
So Dan did the only think he could think of. He took his little brother’s core and ran.
Dan had no idea how to heal a broken core, and Danny’s core (his soul) felt room temperature which couldn’t mean anything good for an ice core. It was also severely lacking in ectoplasm (Dan refused to think of all the green splattered across the lab. This was also the day he decided that NO, the Fentons would not be considered family).
A normal core would have melted down into goop by now with all the damage it sustained. It was likely only still ‘alive’ due to Danny’s halfas status. There was no known cure or medical procedure for this. The only thing Dan could do was place the core within himself, nestled right next to his own core in an attempt to absorb his access ectoplasm and get stronger. But that wouldn’t be enough. A ghost needed to fulfil their obsession to get stronger. But Danny was unable to protect anyone in his current state. Which meant there was only one option. Dan would have to act like a host and fulfil the obsession for him. Which meant Dan would have to feed his brother….by…saving people…
Oh joy….
And thus begins Dan’s various attempts of heroism against his will. He is incredibly efficient and powerful but he looks like he hates every moment of it and might even be scowling at the people he saved. Moreover, he can’t even kill anyone! Killing is the opposite of protecting and wouldn’t help his brother heal so he has to restrain himself. (And when he attempts to smile, it looks so forced and with such sharp teeth that people become even more scared). The justice league have no idea what to do with this unknown.
He’s not a villain (they don’t think?). Just some overpowered guy who is saving a bunch of people (and even the heroes themselves) but has the prickliest personality you can imagine. Dan is not a people person. Add onto that him trying to escape Vlad’s attempts to ‘help’ (he doesn’t trust that fruitloop as far as he can throw him). And resisting going anywhere near the Fentons. As much as he wants to seek vengeance against them for what they did, he doesn’t want them near Danny and there is nothing that could make him drop his brother’s core somewhere else. It’s safest with him. The Fentons haven’t even realized Danny is missing. So this is basically just Dan forced to be a hero and he hates every second of it (but would do anything to protect his baby brother). And Dan maybe sort of befriending rogues and heroes (or them trying very hard to befriend him).
He is a loner. He does not like company, and he is incredibly self conscious when powerful people get near him and his precious cargo.
One day, they might realize Dan doesn’t enjoy being a hero or even really care about the people he saves (despite his meticulousness when it comes to getting everyone out alive). And if they ask, he could say he saves people because he’s selfish which just makes them more confused (or he says he has his own reasons).
Dan basically acts like a wet stray cat around everyone. (A cat with a kitten). He won’t attack them, but he will make it very clear that he does not like them (despite saving their lives multiple times) and he will not respond to their affections. It’s his fault the Justice league misunderstand his actions. He’s only doing it to heal his brother (not that he will ever tell them) but now the Justice league just think he’s a tsundere. Trying to hide that he cares.
No, Dan literally could not care less. Seriously, please leave him alone.
Later, much later, something happens where Dan takes a hit that affects his core/ectoplasm and he freaks out. The Justice league might not understand why until he takes out a second core and checks it over like a mother hen, hissing and snarling at anyone who gets close. This core is unlike anything the magic users have ever seen. They know what a core is, they know it’s a soul. To see one so damaged, it’s nauseating. (Dan is either freaking out for nothing or is actively trying to save the core that was dying in his hands and has to trust his magic user teammates/sort-of-maybe-but-not-yet friends to save him).
When everything is over, they ask who the core belongs to. It has to be someone Dan cares about. Ghosts don’t normally protect or try to care for other cores (it’s usually survival of the fittest) and Dan didn’t seem like the caring type. So they ask despite Dan trying to ignore their questions or brush them off. Eventually, he caves and drops the bombshell that it’s his little brother (and either admits it was their parents who did this to him or just the ‘Fenton’ scientists) and that he became a hero to try and replenish his brother’s strength since he’s a spirit of protection. He explains about cores and obsessions. How his brother’s obsession is protection and his obsession is to keep his family safe.
The Justice league’s hearts break.
Also, Ellie is in this and also has a sibling like relationship with Danny although is a bit distant with Dan (since they remind each other too much of Vlad to be comfortable) and they work together to try and bring Danny back and care for him. Ellie knows how to make ecto dejecto and tries to bring some. Also, in this au, Danny isn’t the ghost king. He’s just a normal ghost. So Dan will fight other ghosts to keep him safe.
Would it be funny if Ellie basically treats Dan as if he’s fragile? Like, she knows Dan is carrying Danny’s core so she’s like “why don’t you lay down?” “Are you eating alright?” “Be careful in that fight!” But at the same time, she’s constantly getting on his nerves and doing everything in her power to annoy him or just doesn’t seem interested in his life. The Justice league are very confused by their interactions. Especially when they see Dan take on an entire army single handedly. Dan hates the hovering even though he understands why she does it. (And when the Justice league realize Dan is carrying his brother’s core they might hover too.)

Ohhh. Idk if my third eye has been opened or I'm reading too much into this (isn't that always the way), or maybe this was just extremely obvious to everyone else so no one else thought to mention it - but the way Robert Cooke's ghost interacts with Lucy on the Wintergarden staircase really is a perversion of what she's looking for from Lockwood at this point in time, isn't it?
Right before the final manifestation, as Lucy's getting grumpier by the second about Lockwood including Holly too much at the same time as he's kept so many secrets from her, she's musing about how losing Jessica might have impacted his approach toward their jobs, and wondering what it would take for him to really let her in. She observed that Lockwood's approach to ghosts - his approach to emotions, as a parallel that was finally obvious to me on this third read - is always Eradicate the ghost. Don't engage with it. Destroy it. - as in, eradicate the feelings, don't engage with them, destroy them. The emotional safety switch cranked up to eleven.
And then Lucy, misguided, overly compassionate at her own risk, tries to rescue this ghost without considering her own boundaries or limits: But the thing about animals [other people's feelings, or one particularly reticent boy] was, you could tame them. You just had to prove they could trust you. I moved closer, holding out my hand. The whole thing in this interaction is that she can't see the ghost as it really is because she's bringing all these preconceived notions to the table and coming into it with something of a savior complex. Sound familiar?
And she's so desperate to hear the truth, to hear what the ghost - Lockwood - needs; she's thrilled when she seems to be on the verge of accomplishing it, and irritated when Holly and George interrupt. The ghost keeps smiling at Lucy (her obsession with Lockwood's smile - this is what triggered the comparison to me), and it sounds just like Lucy silently begging Lockwood to open up to her after every crumb he gives her: The ghost was smiling at me. If I could just get it to speak again...
Then you've got sort of the reverse of the Hollow Boy going on, as death grows too powerful beside life: And how watery and hesitant my smile was beside the boy's grin. And then, turns out they got it wrong - ack! terror! - but Lucy hears from this ghost a twisted version of what she desperately wants to hear from Lockwood:
Tumblr media
Lucy needs to know Lockwood needs her, wants to hear him admit it. (She's not anywhere near ready yet to accept that he wants her; she has some work to do first, untangling all those internalized messages.) She could help him, understand him, if he lets her in - but right now that would be a threat to both of them, in one way or another. I think, to Lockwood, this would be confirmation that he can't open up to Lucy that way - not that he's consciously making the connection, of course, but I still stand by this being the moment he realizes he's in love with her, either when he races up the stairs to save her or when he wakes up after, and for as much as he was shutting Lucy out before, he really starts distancing himself now. And for Lucy, this is when she starts to realize she can't have a life with Lockwood in halves, unfortunately right as he's determined not to need her because of everything her Talent - their emotions - could open them both up to.
Then back to the comparisons with the Hollow Boy coming later, as Lockwood launches a dashing rescue, parallel complete with one half of the pair concussed, even. So I guess that makes two false premonitions/versions of himself he destroys for Lucy in this book (before he gets around to besting the real hollow version of himself for her, but that comes later).
I dunno, I started this post thinking maybe I was adding symbolism where there was none intended, but now I've done a pretty good job convincing myself this is yet another example of intensely brilliant writing from Mr. Stroud that further reveals itself on every reread, my goodness.

Hi hi hi, I would love to hear more of your Dan thoughts! I'm intrigued!!!
>:]!!!!!!!!!! >:D!!!!!!
Ok ok so I've never really tried to put my thoughts into words before so this might be a bit of a mess usually I'm just rotating him in my mind but yes yes yes I have Dan thoughts I want to share my Dan thoughts
I only focus on agit at the end so this is pretty spoiler free for that I think maybe. Thumbs up emoji
Dan is a fun character because despite only having one episode we can still tell alot about his personality and such, as he's rather bold with it and is a fusion of two characters we do see alot, and it really shows! I flip between saying Dan or more Danny than Vlad and saying that they're basically equal in the fusion, but I think a good way to describe it is that he takes different aspects from them, for his appearance and memories he very much takes after Danny, but his personality and how he acts n talks oozes Vlad. Yknow??? If I'm saying the right words here. Dan works so well as a fusion because he also manages to feel like his own character as well
Dan is made from the two's ghost halves, so I'm a fan of the theory/thought I do believe I've seen before that he's based on the ghost halves. Like. Vlad used his ghost form and powers for scheming, attacking, gaining power, and so on, I'd easily imagine he doesn't use it nearly as much as Danny. Danny had to use his ghost form mostly for fighting other ghosts, very frequently, and also used his powers for his own benefit as well, though not nearly as extreme as Vlad. As Danny was in his ghost form more, and as it was more connected to his ghost form (phantom just being an inverted Danny VS Vlad's completely different from himself ghost form, even down to body type) it makes sense why Dan would be more Danny focused, especially in terms of his relationship with others and memories. Vlad's things don't matter to him nearly as much. I mean, he seemingly couldn't find Vlad's new hideout that was under a Welcome to Wisconsin sign, and its ghost zone entrance behind a football
"The only remaining portal, the one my idiot cheesehead archenemy has? As soon as I find it that's going too."
He doesn't respect Vlad in the slightest or seem to care about him. Danny found Vlad's portal almost immediately. So either Dan simply couldn't remember things Vlad liked well enough to guess, and/or, he truly couldn't care less and didn't bother too hard with the search. Both makes sense, and since Vlad is fully human that very likely adds to the contempt and not seeing him as threat enough to find the portal quickly.
Something interesting, is the fact Dan knows Vlad had a portal at all, Dan partially destroyed Vlad's castle after being formed and its clearly in a different location now, unless that cave Vlad is in streaches all the way to his castle's basement Dan hasn't bothered checking? Which is. Unlikely. Which means Vlad had to make a new one. And Dan knew he did. Much to think about there I believe.
I do also think Dan actually doesn't remember his past terribly well. I know I know I just said he's focused on Danny's memories and life, and he is! But also. Its a bit separated from him, the episode itself actually points out him forgetting things about his family several times, it really does feel like they're trying to stress to you, really hammer it in that he's forgotten them some way. It's mentioned offhand like 2 or 3 times.
When Jazz confronts him and admits she knew about his ghost powers he says "You knew?" So??? Softly???? Like PLEASE listen to that line especially after hearing how he usually talks oh my GOSH??!?!!?!?!?! AUGH. slamming my hands on the floor I could make a whole separate thing just thinking of that interaction alone. God. He never knew she knew, it took him by genuine surprise for a moment. And just????? Augh??!???!?!!?!?! He had one family member always in his corner and secretly looking out for him, she believed in him and knew he was trying to do good and she had been waiting for him to reveal it to her in his own time but that time never came because she'd died and haiabsjahasguaaaai u ghjjfhdhfjshauhghhhhh
When Danny enters the future Valerie immediately thinks he Dan, she doesn't question it in the slightest, or question him saying "I have really bad feeling im the one responsible". Before attacking she says "You can't fool me this time Phantom". I take this as either meaning Dan has disguised himself as a young Phantom before, or Valerie is so used to his tricks and and finding new powers that him suddenly looking younger doesn't phase her in the slightest. I do like the idea him disguising as a young Phantom before more. It seems very probable considering he can be Danny Fenton. But this interaction also makes me wonder if Valerie knows, or ever learned that Fenton is Phantom, the trick from before easily could've been Fenton. "The explosion at the Nasty Burger, you, Tucker, Danny's family- and it was all your fault!" She's points her blaster at Phantom while saying that last bit. It makes me wonder if her saying "Danny's family" is showing how she doesn't know he's Danny. There's still other options like her knowing but not admitting he's Fenton, or her knowing he was Danny once but isn't anymore, hence saying "Danny's family" instead of something like "his family". Honestly, her knowing or not are both equally likely. As I said in my tags before, Dan seems to like to get a rise out of people, to get a reaction, he very easily could've told her in an attempt to anger or devastate her, and at the same time he simply could've not bothered at all. I think I prefer the option of her not knowing personally
I don't think I could describe Dan more concisely than I did before, he likes to get a rise out of people, revel in reactions. He twists the past to credit himself for the Nasty Burger explosion after he more than likely blamed himself for it as Danny. He likes to seem in control. He's dramatic. He hates being insulted. Hates losing. He's very casual about alot of things he does.
He caused destruction in both the human and ghost world, the first thing he did upon entering Amity was completely destroy the ghost portal, with plans to destroy Vlad's. I'm not sure what his plan in the end was, but after destroying both portals, I must point out that Dan has the power to summon his own ghost portal with ease, a power I believe is quite rare, I think other than Dan only Wulf has it, though do feel free to correct me on that. So he would've been one of the only people who could go in or out
He was actively trying to/did ruin the lives of the ghosts he knew
Powers. Ohhh boy powers. When I started my DP rewatch my initial plan was to actually take note of every power Danny uses to know what he can do, and by extension Dan. I didn't. Oopsies. So most I can focus on here are what Dan shows in the episode, other than the obvious
I do like thinking on ice powers, and what that means with Dan, obviously he's never shown to know them as they're not introduced until season 3, the writers themselves didn't know it'd happen lol. But in universe, that's something to chew on, Dan never met Frostbite, so if he ever unlocked this power he would've had to figure out the problem and train it on his own, and then there's the potential that Dan never learned, and the ability for ice powers eluded him due to fusion. The ghost sense is a result of his ice powers after all, and Dan's ghost sense isn't a breath of cold blue air, so that could be a sign of this power being one he doesn't have
But moving onto more straightforward powers
Dan destroyed Amity Park in a very short amount of time, all on his own, as while the Fright Knight had been there after the shield went down, he's simply never seen again after that, makes me think Dan just ordered Fright Knight to chase Valerie to Fentonworks and leave after
Related to Amity Park, while there are other destroyed buildings around, the land surrounding the ghost portal is a completely barren wasteland, no doubt from Dan's attempts at destroying the forcefield over the years, and simply scaring residents.
One could argue Dan was the reason lighting was striking around the forcefield, weather manipulation I wouldn't doubt is in his wheelhouse, especially since he's shown to have electrocution powers, at least it looks that way to me
Dan has fire powers, at least immunity to fire. Fire rises after he enters the lab through the cracks he put in the floor, and when he's thrown into truck it bursts into flame. Both instances of the fire happening I suppose you call coincidence, but his immunity to fire at least is undeniable
Dan can force Danny to detransform, and shorted out Danny's powers while holding onto him. This is also the moment where it seems like mild electrocution
Dan can suspend people in ectoplasm, Sam and Tucker also seem frozen completely for a scene, and in a later scene move their heads n such around
He can use a time medallion to enter the exact time and place he needs/where Sam and Tucker went
He specifically used the word fused to describe putting the amulet in Danny, which I find interesting. Entering something while intangible seems to be what causes fusion. Though more to it than that since ghosts can possess other ghosts (or was that a special case since the only example I know is Poindexter possessing a still half ghost Danny🤔)
Dan can form ropes of ectoplasm that can wrap around and trap people, as well as using ecto energy to cover people's mouths to stop talking
Dan is very resilient, I mean, he literally flys through a light pole non-intagabily and doesn't even react. He, while injured from it, did pretty much tank 1 ghostly wail, and still got up after the second, but was weak enough after to be sucked into the thermos
Dan seems to have minor technology powers, nothing major, but like, he does make himself appear on Valerie's watch so he can tell her about the ghostly wail
The ghostly wail of course, which is naturally much stronger than Danny's version. Can destroy nearly all glass in future Amity Park, destroys all the ghost shield towers one by one in a line, makes the Fentonworks building fall down when directly hit. Flips tanks and makes helicopters lose control. Destroyed Ember's vocal cords somehow
He can duplicate himself very easily, and become one again with the same ease. He turns into to a gas form to dodge Valerie's grenades
---
I don't have the time to focus on his behavior in AGiT rn, but it lines up with my thoughts. I do like the confirmation that Dan wanted Danny to suffer as he had/didn't think it fair for Danny to get a second chance to save his family. And it deeply trapped by his own emotions and just unwilling to admit it. I can still skim the book to think about powers. I put AGiT powers in this own little section to be skipped if you don't want spoilers
-He 100% has fire powers no doubt about it now
-I should've described his ability to suspend people in ectoplasm as telekinesis
-Can make shields, usually briefly and by swiping his arm
-When Dan emerges from the rubble, he briefly turns it into lava, and then water, I cannot be sure if this is because of having Clockwork's powers, or just his own at work
-His powers seem to turn blue rather than green, but its hard to tell for certain. But we do know his fire is blue so it's not completely out
---
In conclusion I'm very normal about him and have watched TUE a reasonable amount of times thank you amd goodnight <3 (lying voice)

you know why season 0/the early manga of yugioh is interesting, because it was so clearly written before it was clear that atem was like...actually atem
the early version of the character was pretty transparently meant to be the other yugi, and only the other yugi, really until somewhere between bakura's first arc and the end of duelist kingdom. but they definitely weren't treated as especially separate characters at first, rather as two halves of a whole, until that point. it was first presented like magical DID more so than ghostly possession.
what's interesting about this is also kind of what's unfortunate about it- it's that yugi's character development also becomes atem's character development. as yugi becomes stronger and grows closer to his friends, so does his other self. yugi's friendships fuel all of atem's actions- atem isn't driven by anything that isn't also driving yugi. he acts like an extension of yugi's will, taking over only when yugi's soul isn't strong enough or physically able to continue.
earlier in this first arc, that tends to happen earlier in the conflicts. as the arc progresses, however, and yugi gets stronger and more confident, atem waits longer and longer to show himself. hell, in bakura's shadow game, it's not until yugi's soul is literally sealed away that atem even appears. as it was written, this arc seems to be the culmination of yugi's first arc- he is now strong enough and confident enough to believe in his friends wholeheartedly, and that faith allows his other self to believe just as much, and ultimately win the game. the two of them are treated like a whole person, like one duelist.
but what you can read into all this, once you know that atem is in fact an entirely separate person, is that this first arc is really about atem first becoming like yugi- about the healing effect yugi inadvertently had on him. when atem first appears, he's this demonic entity with a gambling addiction, meting out sadistic punishments on anyone who hurts yugi or his friends. I think we're first meant to believe this is an alternate personality that the dark powers of the millennium puzzle draw out, but actually no it's this amnesiac ghost in possession of ancient egyptian shadow magic who just got slammed with all the memories of the person whose body he can now possess.
so with hindsight, and you do kinda have to read this into it because atem's character is not explored as his own person until later, but this arc really becomes about how atem finds his chill. over the course of the season he doesn't stop doling out vigilante justice exactly, but he does calm the fuck down. the more he adopts yugi's identity as his own, the more he becomes like yugi- and it softens him. about mid way through season 0 the penalty games become a lot less sadistic and violent- atem goes from burning men alive and torturing them to insanity to making them think their make up is constantly flaking or getting doused in water on stage. there are several opponents he just lets go free, and by the end of the death-t arc he's not only saving mokuba's life, but he's shattering only the corrupted part of kaiba's soul, leaving the good parts of him totally intact. he gives kaiba the chance to heal, something he never did for his earlier opponents. he goes from morally ambiguous to outright good guy. and during the very last arc of this series, he's actively incorporated into the friend group in his own right, even if he is still being treated mostly as the other yugi.
and I think you can and should also infer that this is how he thinks of himself- he has no identity at this point so he totally and completely takes on yugi's and doesn't think twice about it. that would seem to contradict the later reveal that actually no he's a whole other person, but it kinda inadvertently works in its own way. because if the final arc is about atem and yugi separating, this first arc is how they come together.

Danny Phantom Randomness (Overshadowed Vs Possessed)
You know, even though the rest of us know Danny Phantom is about ghosts regardless of what Butch said about them being “monsters” from another dimension, I still think its funny how the phrases that were changed to sound less paranormal really get you thinking. Now, we all know what overshadowing someone means in the context of the show but when you go by the actual definition in the dictionary it doesn’t quite add up...
Tumblr media
Or does it?
Well to find out let’s start with the basics!
Overshadow can mean either:
tower above and cast a shadow over.
appear much more prominent or important than.
Meanwhile, Possession means:
the state of having, owning, or controlling something.
an item of property; something belonging to one.
the state of being controlled by a demon or spirit.
Ok, going back to the show for a second it looks like the terms are more or less used interchangeably.
“Overshadowing, also called possession, is the power to possess a human, animal, or object and control its actions. It is a sub-power of intangibility.” ~ https://dannyphantom.fandom.com/wiki/Overshadowing
Personally this is how I like to think of it. When a ghost or half-ghost overshadows someone their will supersedes that of the host, with a few exceptions of course. For example, if they’re even slightly aware of the foreign entity inside of them they can be forced out through sheer force of will like Jack tried to when Vlad briefly took control of him during the reunion.
Tumblr media
We’ve even seen MULTIPLE ghosts take control of the same person like when Tucker temporarily had ghost powers too and was arguing with Danny while they were both overshadowing Paulina’s body.
Tumblr media
During this time, the victim’s consciousness is pushed back and enters a dream-like state which would explain that once its over, echoes of their time possessed remains along with a really confused and dizzy feeling like they’re just waking up from a dream. That’s what lets ghosts give people nudges in the direction they want to. Especially if it’s too much work trying to pretend to BE that person.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s even possible to actually enter someone’s dreams directly which could probably be used to communicate with someone as a ghost or plant an idea in their subconscious. Some ghosts can even keep their hosts ‘awake’ during possession and talk to them telepathically so they actually can remember what happened. Danny does this with Tucker a few times during training and things like that since it might be a little unsettling to have a gap in memory even though he knows Danny would never hurt him.
Tumblr media
Experienced ghosts can change their voices to match the person they’re controlling and at least from what I’ve seen...only we as the audience can see the change in eye color that sometimes goes along with it. That’s mostly just to show us something’s off, but otherwise to everyone else the possessed person looks and sounds completely normal. It’s only in more extreme cases that the possession is more obvious like when someone suddenly has red glowing eyes  or a visible ghostly aura.
Sidney Poindexter actually took this a step further by literally switching bodies with Danny and I’m honestly surprised no one talks about what a big deal that is. I mean think about it, this random nerdy ghost kid from the 50′s YEETED DANNY OUT OF HIS BODY AND TRAPPED HIS SOUL IN THE GHOST ZONE!
Tumblr media
Not even Vlad ever dared to overshadow Danny personally throughout the entire series since he had no idea what that could do to their ghost halves. Well, he might not, but WE know it could have created another Dan.
Tumblr media
At one point, Danny managed to overshadow one of Vlad’s duplicates too since it wasn’t the real thing. Not really sure why tbh.
Tumblr media
Oh, and you gotta admit that Vlad creating an army of shades to overshadow the voters in Amity Park was pretty OP even for him...
Tumblr media
I almost forgot Wulf harmlessly exorcised Walker out of the Mayor’s body with his claws which is incredible too! Now that could be another interesting aspect to explore later on.
Tumblr media
The point is, here’s what we know:
Most people can’t remember what they were doing while possessed unless they have a strong will or the ghost in question didn’t completely take over, meaning they’re awake during this time.
It’s possible for ghosts to overshadow dreams, animals, inanimate objects, and the virtual world such as videogames, television and the radio.
More than one ghost CAN possess a body at the same time as another which if you ask me could elude to “demonic” possession with multiple spirits in a single host. I think there’s a lot of untapped potential in this idea!
Overshadowing is an offshoot/sub-power of intangibility since they have to change into an incorporeal state to take over a person or object.
In some cases, the act of possession can temporarily change the host’s physical appearance and from what I can tell already protects them with superhuman strength and endurance as seen when a bunch of Danny’s classmates and teachers were taken over by Walker and his goons. It mostly depends on the type and intelligence of the ghost doing it.
So yeah, sorry that was kinda all over the place but for a “basic” ghost power I noticed a lot of cool ideas we don’t see explored very much and wanted to share my thoughts. I hope this helps some of you! There’s probably a few things I missed like when a sort of ghostly persona is created like the one Sam had when she turned into a dragon and when Tucker had ghost powers and Danny separated the ghostly version of Tucker Desiree created for him, but I think overall you get the idea.

YES. THIS AU IS NOT DEAD!
We've reached an intermission point, aka, a .5 chapter! 1.5 to be exact. Dw babes it's all still a very important part of the plot ^w^
@alexglitches HEYYYYY BESTIEEE I GOT IT
" Sixteen of your peers are remaining to awaken."
That is what Malleus had told him last night, and Leona as well.
Riddle paced back and forth in his room, wringing his hands nervously behind him. There was so much he didn't understand, it felt like madness. And if there was one thing he could not tolerate as head of Heartslabyul, it was madness.
He thought back to what Malleus had said, that he "had never seen so many seers in one place" and that they had to do "everything in their power to rally their forces."
The shrieking, searing pain of his own awakening ghosted over his bones, making Riddle shudder and halt his steps for just a brief moment. Had Leona experienced the same thing? It was a horrifying thought, the image of the lion letting out a scream like his own before the glass. Was Malleus commanding them to put everyone through that?
Riddle shook his head, his hands moving up to smoothe over his already-straightened hair. His train of thought chugged on, and before long his mind was caught on the enigma of what that lion had done in the void. Scratching at himself and shaking, making himself able to step out of his own skin. It was strange to be sure, but it couldn't hurt to try.
The housewarden looked at his forearm, pulling off one black glove to reach his now bare wrist. He timidly looked at his other hand as he discarded the glove on his desk. Riddle hesitated for a moment, before dragging his fingertips across the skin of his arm, stopping cold when he felt it catch against an ever so thin split in his skin, perfectly down the middle. His eyes grew wide as his hand flinched back like he had been burned, his whole body quaked at its betrayal of itself, his hands frantically trying to shake off the feeling as hard as they could.
This action, however, only caused the small split to open more, like a mistreated wound. His forearm, sleeve and all, had split perfectly down the middle, an ample gap of about an inch wide to see the purple flesh beneath it.
Riddle cried out upon seeing what lay underneath his skin. He backed away from his own arm, bumping into the post of his bed. Riddle swung around in surprise, the half-opened segment crashing into what he had just hit. The impact of the blow only opened the split more, now opening past his elbow.
His heartbeat pounded in his ears as he stared in a panic at the split and the second skin it revealed. He tried rationalizing it as much as he could to quell his erratic thoughts. It didn't hurt, really, it wasn't bleeding, maybe it wasn't permanent? Everything can heal... he hoped. It didn't seem to have affected Leona much.
His brain was going at a million miles an hour as he paced a few steps, staring down at his open shell. But, with a determined breath, his train of thought had arrived at decision's station as curiosity got the better of him. Riddle began to pry at the split in his upper arm, and when that opened, he slipped his now purple hand out from the skin of his hand, freeing his arm. A quivering giddiness whispered to him as he took off his other glove and began to open that side as well.
The room was dead silent, save for the sounds of soft scratching from nails against bare skin, his uniform rustling as it too split into halves, and the ticking of the clock. The panels didn't sound like Riddle had expected it to, lacking the sort of wet, fleshy quality of corpses in horror movies. He hooked his thumbs into the split that made its way across his chest, pushing outward to open it and expose the second slit that formed a cross down his torso. Opening that felt as if he were taking off a costume. It went from his stomach all the way up to his hairline, and he turned to the mirror once he reached the opening lines in his face. He noticed that the rhythm of his breathing made the disturbed panels of outer shell open ever so slightly as he breathed in and close as he breathed out.
And, for a while, he simply stared.
The curtains had been drawn, and he hadn't spared the clock a glance since he had stopped pacing, but his sense of time was strong, and Riddle knew he would be back before his rule-mandated tea was due.
Riddle began to fully detach himself from the shell, and before he knew it, he was completely freed from it. Riddle looked around, looking over at his mirror.
Everything but his eyes was completely purple, and where there had once been visible, defined features, was now an indistinguishable mass simply sharing his silhouette. Anything that overlapped seemed to disappear, and if he were to close his eyes, it would seem like he simply didn't have any.
Riddle reached out to touch the mirror, but immediately recoiled as his hand passed through it like air. He blinked, curiosity taking over as the shock died down. His hand moved to touch the smooth glass surface, his own reflection bringing up memories of the player. He hoped that he would be able to see them again soon.
Just like before, Riddle's hand went straight through the mirror, but now he was even more curious. He gripped the side of the mirror, expecting to pass through that as well, but was surprised to find out that it felt as solid to him as ever. He moved the mirror to inspect the back of it, his expectations once again defied as he could not see his other hand coming through the other side. It seemed that he had found some kind of portal in the mirror, only accessible once he had shed his outer skin. He put his other hand in and mustered up his courage, after a while finally stepping in, and abandoning the shell.
When Riddle had gotten his bearings on the other side, he looked around, slate eyes widening as it dawned on him where he had ended up.
The void.
And, not too far off in the distance, was the glass, dark and reflective. It didn't carry the same ethereal shimmers it had when the player was present, but it looked... different. It almost looked as if it were moving, ever so slightly, not breathing, but writhing.
Riddle came closer, abandoned by caution, and as he approached, he could see that it wasn't the glass itself that he saw moving. It seemed to be covered in a strange, slime-like substance, thick, but with a ghostly translucency at its base, taking on a hue of the faintest black at the tips of the tendrils that formed from it. That must have been what Riddle saw writhing. Had that been there the entire time?
He reached out a hand to touch one of the tendrils, only to cry out in surprise as it latched onto his arm. The purple flesh it made contact with burned with the same kind of pain that had consumed him upon his first arrival in the void, pulling a scream from Riddle's throat. He grabbed onto his arm with his other hand, trying desperately to pull himself away. It dug into his skin like a rope tied tightly, and the pain began to spread.
Caught in a rush of panic, he didn't even consider the risks he was about to take by casting in his current mental state without his magestone, but he didn't care. A wide burst of flame shot out around him, spreading once it made contact with the glass. In seconds, the tendril was gone, and a large patch of the remaining substance was burnt off the glass. Riddle stumbled back, clutching his arm close to his chest. It felt like the pain had evaporated, but he was still shaken.
Riddle flopped down to the floor, or was it... ground, of the void, trying to calm himself. He looked back at the glass, just in time to see the large gap begin to close itself, otherwise unaffected. A sigh escaped him, knowing he still had time until he had to return. He didn't want to take another step, still trying to get his bearings, so he decided to stay for a little while longer. Maybe he could see the player return. Riddle closed his eyes, exhaling into the silent darkness. After a few moments, something dawned on him, and he shot up. Panic, although less pronounced as before, shot through him again.
How was he supposed to get out of here?!?
For a while, all was quiet in Heartslabyul, well, as quiet as this particular dorm could be, and Cater couldn't help but to wonder why. He tried not to let it bother him as he approached the housewarden's quarters, simply needing to ask a quick rule-related question. Riddle was the one to go to about the rules, after all.
The only sounds in the hallway were footsteps and the soft, scattered notes of the tune Cater was humming, but after the creak of a door, there was silence.
Cater stopped dead in the doorway to Riddle's room, staring. Standing in the room was his housewarden, but something was terribly wrong. His skin looked like he had been dissected from his forehead to his fingertips to his legs, or like some sort of casing that had been opened. There was nothing inside the skin, no flesh, no bone, no eyes, and yet it kept its shape as if it were solid.
The petrified boy stood shock still, green eyes wide with terror. The empty skin had been facing the other way when Cater had first opened the door, but, as if alerted by the noise, spun its head completely around to face backwards. At first, its face was whole, and its eyes covered in shadow, but it opened itself when it heard his breath come out in a whimper, revealing its hollow eyes. His heart was pounding in his chest, each beat telling him to get out, get out, get out, get out, get out, GET OUT.
Cater wanted to step away, hell, to break into a dead sprint and get as much distance between him and WHATEVER that thing was, but he was too scared to move. His brain was in a war with itself, screaming at him to run, but knowing at the same time that if he moved even the barest inch, or made even the smallest sound, it would set it off. And just before he could muster up the courage to pry his eyes from it, he heard the sound.
His phone had buzzed.
The sound set Cater off before it did the monster, sending him careening down the hall as fast as his legs could carry him. He heard rapid footsteps coming up from behind, and looked back in a panic. It was after him, the split in its skin widening as if it were an open maw about to eat him alive. He let out a scream, desperately beginning to call for help.
" TREY! ACE! DEUCE! SOMEBODY! HELP!" Cater yelled frantically, rounding a corner with a sharp turn, making him almost slip on the edge of the checkered carpet. He was quick to recover his footing, but he had lost his momentum, and the thing was gaining fast. Cater made the mistake of looking behind him in his panic, and let out a scream as he saw that the hollow creature of skin was closing the gap between them with its frenzied, all-fours sprint.
It was only when Cater felt his next step sink past the steady surface that he had previously been running on did he look forward. He had reached the stairway, but had been too busy looking back at his pursuer to notice. Cater's foot missed the first few steps, his heel slipping off the edge of the step it finally made contact with.
The floor surged upward in a rapid blur, the third-year's panicked scream being abruptly cut off by a sound akin to someone forcibly opening a hatch, and the skin of his own face splitting into four segments on impact. The mouth of the purple second skin beneath was still wide open, but the sound that erupted out was nothing a human could ever produce. The rest of his body tumbled forward, the rough slam of his spine against the steps violently splitting open his chest as well.
The momentum of his fall propelled him onward, but as his head shot forward once again, the outer shell that had once been his own immovable skin detached completely from the luminous purple inner layer it no longer hid. The innards reached the bottom before the skin, wailing horrifically in pain and leftover fear, not registering his own shell having parted from him until it collapsed beside him.
Rapid footsteps approached from an adjacent hallway, belonging to none other than Trey, who rounded the corner with his pen at the ready. He looked around for any sort of danger, his eyes locking on the purple silhouette of Cater sprawled out on the floor, trying to crawl towards him.
The boy's hand flew upwards to muffle the sound of shock that tried to escape him, immediately pointing the tip of the pen at the whimpering figure. The strange Cater-like creature let out an indecipherable cry, practically throwing himself backward to avoid any potential attack. Trey's eyes darted to the side, the wild terror in his golden depths making Cater turn to look too late.
A blur of opened flesh rapidly overtook his vision, prompting a cry that was soon muffled before finally coming into clarity as the sound of something snapping shut clicked from around him. It felt like every inch of his body was being clamped down on tightly, but what horrified him most wasn't the feeling.
He could hear Riddle shouting.
Cater shut his mouth, and the noise stopped. A whimper, completely out of character to hear in Riddle's voice, sounded dangerously close. Cater turned to Trey, Riddle's eyes wide as saucers.
" T-... Trey...?"
Everything looked normal, at a glance. It was undeniably Riddle sitting there in the middle of the stairway, huddled in on himself, but something was terribly wrong. His pasture-green irises didn't match his eyes, shrunken in comparison to their usual grey, and his expression of panic seemed to fail to fit his face entirely.
Trey stood, frozen in place, unable to do anything but stare at what was clearly not his childhood friend. Cater looked down at his hands in complete silence, blinking owlishly at what he saw. He turned them over, then back again, breath caught in his throat.
And, with Riddle's voice, he screamed.

i'm reading up on the history of thanos on the marvel wiki right now, and that means i am learning a lot of facts about adam warlock against my will, and i already thought he was a weird confusing dude, but every fact i learn about him makes it worse
so far:
adam warlock willingly gave thanos not one but two (2) infinity stones. after thanos had used the infinity gauntlet to kill half the universe
warlock got split into his good half and his evil half. but at various points the three of them have all existed simultaneously, which means there are 3 bodies that add up to 2 whole adam warlocks. but also warlock is his own good half, so he has 2 good halves. so possibly it only adds up to 1.5 adam warlocks? which is still too many warlocks.
also one of his good halves tried to commit genocide so i don't understand how it's a good half? he has 3 halves and 2 of them want to commit mass murder. I know a world where the inhumans are regularly considered heroes definitely has a fucked up concept of heroism, but how the fuck is warlock considered a hero?
warlock willingly gave mephisto a cosmic cube. I don't really understand why satan needs a magic space computer, but i don't think him having one is a good idea
warlock saved the universe from being destroyed by his own good side (the one who isn't him) by creating the matrix using 5 cosmic cubes he stole from own his evil side and trapping his good side inside the matrix so she (the genocidal good side is female, just go with it) destroyed that instead of actual reality
warlock has the ability to physically enter the soul stone and just hang out on there if he feels like it. not just his soul, his entire body just gets sucked in there like the magic school bus going inside a human body
warlock physically entered the soul gem, and then GAVE IT TO THANOS TO LOOK AFTER. thanos had killed him at least once at this point, and had also killed all the people warlock most cares about at least once. but you know. trustworthy guy. adam warlock stop giving thanos infinity stones challenge
for a while warlock, gamora, and pip the troll (if you're not familiar, he's a little troll dude who hangs out in space and is part of warlock's polycule, and yes gamora, sexy space assassin who gets to be in hundred million dollar movies, is in a polycule with a literal troll, which i guess explains how she's attracted to chris pratt) were ghosts wearing the corpses of recently deceased humans like overcoats, and we were supposed to just be fine with that
Literally everything I learn about this dude is insane, and for like 2 decades, everyone just accepted him as a normal part of marvel comics, that is just wild to me. even in a universe where jack kirby was canonically the physical manifestation of god on earth and silver surfer has the power to give anything he wants polkadots, somehow adam warlock is still the most insane character in the 616

My thoughts on... Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider 2018 (#1-4) "Spider-Geddon"
And we're back! Continuing my read through of the Spider-Gwen comics. I'm very excited to see where they take Gwen and her story after her 2015 run. There are tons of things they can explore and for one can't wait to see what they'll do with her in this run. So this new run starts off where he previous one left us. Gwen is out of jail and ready to do good again, in the right ways. The first issue picks up about 2 months after she got out of jail. We see Gwen being in a very good mental state and once again she is finding freedom in being Spider-Gwen. Which is really interesting and cool to see because it's why she initially became the Spider-Woman. To be free and have fun with her powers. Although back then she couldn't handle the responsibility and expectations put on her. But now she can, it's great character development and it really shows how much she has grown. After this she meets Harry again, which she from my knowledge hasn't seen since the events of Madripoor in Spider-Gwen Vol. 4 "Predators". I do wish that they explored more about what's been going on with him. It was kind of weird to just see them be besties again without acknowledging much of what happened between them. I will their conversation had a cool moment where Gwen once again acknowledges her responsibilities and the concequences of her actions. The conversation also sets up an interesting premise for this run. Figuring out where Spider-Woman ends and where Gwen Stacy begins. Gwen is finally a whole person again after accepting both her side as Gwen and as Spider-Woman and seeing them as one complete thing instead of 2 halves. But now that she is whole again, she has to figure out where her life as Spider-Woman ends and wher Gwen Stacy begins as before this she was mostly living as the Spider-Woman. So how does her life like Gwen look like now that's she whole again? The same for her Spider-Woman side, where does that side of her end now that's she whole again? I'm really excited for them to explore that. I will say i do dislike how she hates her Spider-Gwen name as it's really contradictory to her previous run. In which she accepts and embraces it and where the name stands for her becomming whole again and accepting that both the Spider-Woman part and Gwen Stacy part of her all make up who she is and aren't separate things. Essentially making her Spider-Gwen as she accepts both sides of herself as everything that makes up her as one person. After this the Spider-Geddon tie-in stuff starts to take place. I will be honest, i have not read the Spider-Geddon event but i did watch a recap video to understand what's up (i might revisit this post when i eventually read it). Gwen ends up on a unknown earth after her portal watch gets destroyed. It's a pretty interesting earth, Harry Osborn is Spider-Man & Gwen Stacy is the Green Goblin (or should i say the Gwen Goblin). What's even more interesting is that this Gwen Stacy is kind of a mirror to Earth-65's peter but in a bit of a different way. She became the hero known as the Green Goblin to help Harry in his fights but this earth's Peter point out on how she mostly did it to feel special, which really hits Gwen as she immediatly recognizes the similarities between this Gwen and her Peter. During a fight with the Sandman this earth's Gwen messed up and accidentally killed her dad. Being caught off guard by this Harry tries to take upon the fight on his own with a pumpkin bomb but eventually he messes up and Harry dies. The explosion causes Gwen's gear to get fried and she turns into the evil Green Goblin we all know. Gwen (from earth-65! I know it gets confusing) also meets very different version of Betty and Gloria on this earth which was really cool. Eventually they save Gwen and this Gwen makes her a new device to traverse the multiverse allowing her to get back to the Spider-Geddon fight. During her time on this earth she point out she must be like a walking ghost to the people around her (A ghost-spider?), which might be teasing how she gets her new nickname.
After this we pick up after the Spider-Geddon event. Gwen is grieving all of her lost spider-friends she lost during Spider-Geddon. I really loved how they showed how the grief was affecting her and how much of a hard time she was having with all of it. Ultimately she travels the multiverse to tell the loved ones of the spider people who died to tell them what happened, it's a really beautiful moment and we get a lot of cool new Spider-Gwen outfits. Ultimately we see her work through her grief and come to acceptance. She has really touching monologue which talks a lot about the ghosts that haunts us (further setting up her new name maybe?). Her Spider-Geddon arc ends with acceptance as she swings into the sunset. This was a really good start to her new run and some of themes they're setting up sound really interesting. I will say there are some inconsitensies with her previous run which kind of sucks. Like her not liking the Spider-Gwen name and her being really good friends with Harry without really touching upon the last time they saw each other, because i feel there was a lot you could have done with that and how it affected their friendship. Regardless this was a solid start to the new run despite it being somewhat tied down by having to deal with the Spider-Geddon event. I'm looking really forward to reading and seeing what's next!

doing some development on cycles 1 and 2/some world building stuff
first of all: locations. The Event when the novice ripped Noxa Krov in two and wiped most of their own being from existence had a VERY large and destructive impact on the surroundings. as in completely leveling the surroundings and gouging a crater into the ground, with a pretty significant radius and depth. this specifically is how the two halves that would eventually become null and nil ended up completely isolated- the null-half got sealed underground and the nil-half stayed on the surface
by the time nil settled enough to have a physical form, so much time had passed that there were trees growing in the crater. it's all monoculture growth- same type of trees, same age, because they were all manually planted around the same time post-Event. so nil grows up in this crater, and null lives underneath it. they both eventually move on because of the same event- the crater is flooded, making it unlivable both on the surface and underground (at least for null and nil)
the final confrontation between null and nil happens on the cliff surrounding the crater. nil is knocked into the floodwater and dies, and null is petrified on the cliff overlooking the crater marking where Noxa Krov was defeated.
Fane does not leave null's side. A temple + sanctuary is eventually built around them. it is called Rest No Longer. Fane is treated as a guardian spirit of the temple and the crater. so is null, but to a lesser extent considering he's made out rock at the time
Rasputin is one of many travelers who takes respite in Rest No Longer. he actually ends up befriending Fane, up until he fishes Nil's stinger out from the crater and discovers he can use it to kill eternal-aligned beings with it and harness their Coil for his own gain and power.
after Rasputin uses the stinger to ascend both himself and Gazer into dragonhood, the two go back to Rest No Longer with Rasputin planning on a ritual in involving Fane and the stature of Null that would theoretically let him cross into the eternal plain. Instead, gazer (who has been loathing Rasputin for a while at that point) murders Rasputin with the stinger, dumps his body in the crater, and gets the hell out of there because fane found out what was going on and was PISSED.
at some point (either at that confrontation or at a later point) fane gets his hands on nil's stinger, and is able to use it to un-petrify Null. They both leave Rest No Longer for good, and it falls into ruin.
with the corpses of nil and Rasputin rotting in the already really magically unstable crater, and with petrified Null no longer acting as an "anchor" for all the unwound coil in the area, something was created from the remains of dragons.
thats bo. Boghast comes into being, and the flooded crater slowly but surely settles into being a bog. Along with the trees, there's now a whole bunch of cranberry bushes growing. What's significant is that this is the only place in the entire coil where cranberries can grow, and they're chock full of pure Coil.
most only know about the bog from rumors, as it's the sort of place where most who go poking around don't make it out the other side completely intact.
Boghast is vicious and territorial, and will attack and kill any intruders to the bog. however, anyone who is killed in the bog is eventually brought back as a revenant or ghost. or at the minumum the stuff their soul is made of is recycled into a new, technically-undead being.
so in short, boghast's bog is a mass graveyard. it just so happens that some of the residents are a bit more mobile than the rest

proof by contradiction
Binary logic is an important tool of Western thought. It is able to accommodate a wide range of power relationships, in which one side of the binary is dominant and the other is subject to repression. For example:
colonizer : colonzied man : woman good : evil
And so on. Much of postcolonial and feminist theory is devoted revealing the complexity of these simple power relationships, specifically how the terms are depend on one another to produce meaning. For colonizers to exist, there must be the colonized. However, colonial rule is undermined by the presence of the colonized. Edward Said writes in Culture and Imperialism that "nations are narrations," meaning that nation-states emerge from shared history and collective identity, and rely on the power belief to perpetuate their existence. Therefore, alternative histories and counter-narrative can threaten state power. Colonization, which we will just call "a practice of domination," is maintained by erasing and repressing the stories that threaten it, which means erasing evidence of its own existence.
However, the absence of something is only a shadow of its existence. Many postcolonial scholars use the concept of ghosts and haunting to describe the discrepancy between the wealth and power of colonizers, and the dislocation and disappearance of the colonized. Angie Merill writes that
"Hauntings require us to acknowledge how cities and academies are built upon disappearance [...] The ghost exists here with us because of violence, and haunting is the result."
How is haunting felt when we visit the Stedelijk museum, where Felix de Rooy takes center stage? What are we meant to think or feel? As Mendy pointed out, merely presenting two halves of the binary sign is nothing worth celebrating. Indigenous existence and co-presence is actually the starting point for conversations about the relationship between colonizer/colonized. Co-presence disrupts the binary status quo with tension, irony, and the sense of haunting. For an example local to the Northwest, Michelle M. Jacob's Yakima Rising describes how in 1989, children from the Yakima nation were invited to dance in celebration of Washington's 100 years of statehood. The interaction between the state that sought to destroy the Yakima nation, and the children who embody its future--what does it signify to the the audience? Irony, but also: celebration, disruption, survival & vitality. Haunting, and tension between what is there, and what could have been; all the futures that did not eventuate.
But what about the futures yet in store? Interpreting and re-interpreting these interactions help us create new, complex meanings that do not rely on old colonial logic. Bringing together the living and the dead, the dislocated, and the disappeared is an example of what Merill calls "co-presence through desire": that hauntings are not only about the interplay between absence and presence, but also answering the desire of the ghost. To reveal what must be revived and transformed.

DP - PT AU - Phantom Fusion
Au of Phantom Twins AU where in Reign Storm, Danny & Dina discover that they can fuse. It works just like in Steven Universe. They discovered it when Dina caught Danny trying to sneak off to fight Pariah Dark with the Ecto-Skeleton without telling her. They got into a fight & when Danny tried to escape with it, Dina grabbed him & they fused. So, after a bit of freaking out, they got into the suit & beat Pariah much easier than in canon & was able to close the Sarcophagus fairly easily on their own.
All they needed was the key, which Vlad used. When he asked who they were, they said "Dana." (Pronounced day-nah.)
Most of the story goes fairly the same as the original, but the twins use fusion as a sort of trump card.
Now, the reason that they have the power to fuse is because they're kinda 1 soul in 2 bodies & it's like they're trying to get back together. This later manifests in an actual power that allows them to fuse with other Halfas. No other Halfas have this ability, so when they fuse with other Halfas, it's due to one of the twins facilitating it.
However, they try to hide this ability to keep it as their trump card that they can surprise enemies with.
At the same time, because they were fused when they beat Pariah, they both sorta have a claim to the throne.
I'm not sure how they'd resolve that, but they might end up being co-rulers because they literally possess 2 halves of the same soul & it is the Ghost Zone.
Being that they're a literal combination of an entire man & an entire woman, Dana is a legitimate hermaphrodite rather than intersex like Stevonnie is. Who I think should've been classified as a hermaphrodite too, but I understand the desire to raise intersex visibility.
I will not list their pronouns because they think that's stupid & they really could not care less if you referred to them as a man or a woman & will not jump down your throat for it because they figure that 'he' & 'she' are still accurate to a degree. They are very thick-skinned & self-assured like Dina, so they figure that they are what they are & it doesn't matter what people call them because it won't change the reality of what or who they are.
They initially have a figure similar to Stevonnie, but as the twins grow & mature & gain muscle, Dana begins to exhibit more of that duality of sexes until, as adults, they have something of a rower's build with larger, more bloated pecs, feminine hips, & curved thighs.
They've actually got a figure reminiscent of Luisa from Encanto.
At this age, they are also even taller than Jack.
---
During the events of D-Stabilize, Danny, Dina, & Ellie manage to do a 3-way fusion.
The resulting fusion is more reminiscent of a more feminine Stevonnie in figure than Dana had been & goes by Danalie.
Something about this fusion seemed to give Ellie more stability than before afterwards.
---
A lot later, when Vlad & Dina are together, they manage to fuse into Valdin Phantasmus in a crisis.
To start off, Valdin is a fusion of Vlad & Dina. Like Dana was, they are a hermaphrodite & have a similar figure, but with more of a swimmer's build.
Also like Dana, they do not give a flying fuck about pronouns. They figure that if you've got an issue with that then that's your problem, not theirs.
They are taller than Vlad, but not as tall as Dana when the twins are adults, have longer hair than Dina's (stopping at their knees by now) with Vlad's widow's peak. Their hair is gunmetal grey with a metallic sheen to it. They also have a streak of silver starting from the middle of their widow's peak to stop at the end of their hair, it's generally tucked behind their right ear.
Their eyes either glow yellow-gold or purple & have fleshy skin with an aquamarine tint to it (Plasmius has teal), as well as pointed elf-like ears. They have Dina's upturned nose, Vlad's tall cheekbones & face length, as well as Dina's more pointed chin with a small soul patch of gunmetal hair. They also have pronounced canines like Dina's, but when angry, a longer pair of fangs slide out from in front of the canines on the top row of teeth.
They've got a more muscular, masculine torso & arms, with wide, curved, feminine hips & thighs. Their pecs protrude slightly & are bloated while still maintaining a masculine shape to them. Meanwhile, their calves are both very muscled & masculine.
They wear a high collar, long-sleeved, black & white kevlar tunic, mostly white. Everything from the breast area down is white, forming the shape of a triangle (^) where it meets black at the top. Everything above the center of the chest is black with black long-sleeves. At the center of their chest, in the white, is a black, stylized "VP." They also have white gloves all-the-way to their elbows with a triangle-cut hem & studs on the knuckles as well as miniature thermoses mounted on the wrists.
Around their waist is a black belt full of first aid supplies, one large pack resting against each hip. One pack has a red medical cross while the other has a green one.
They have black kevlar tights with white, knee-high, lace-up, 1" vintage heel combats that have steel toes & a high cut front with a triangular shape at the top. The shape of the shoes' feet are formal with elongated toes.
Finally, over all that is a sleeveless, white, long coat with a red lining, a lapel, a medical cross on their left breast over their heart, & reaches down to their ankles & has a zigzag hem on the bottom like Vlad's cape had. The first thing they always do when they form is pop their collar like a delinquent.
In their right ear is a silver skull earring with a ruby in one socket & a peridot in the other.
They wear eyeliner, like heavy eyeliner, but no other makeup.
They've got a bit of an 80s rock thing going for them.
Like mentioned before, Valdin is very self-assured & content with themselves as a person, exhibiting a little bit of an ego & arrogance, but not full NPD like Vlad has. They are incredibly intelligent & articulate. They switch between Vlad's more refined, faux-british vernacular & Dina's more casual, upper midwest form of speech depending on the situation.
They are both proper & witty, as well as chivalrous, heroic, kind, empathetic, & compassionate, but are also very manipulative & petty at times, with an occasional bit of a manic edge to them. Can be selfish, overly practical/objective/pragmatic, & has plans for everything. They are a masterful strategist & whereas Vlad had styled himself as a chess master but was too impatient to actually be one, with Dina in the mix, Valdin actually is one. However, that doesn't mean that they can't be impatient. They still feel their patience waning at times, but they are quite a lot better at reeling that in thanks to Dina's self-control.
They have a storm core.
They are a lot like Garnet in that they love being themselves because Vlad & Dina love being together.

[ Chamber x Viper ]
Borderline NSFW
[ Gilded Gold and Harmless Poison ]
Part-12
The two days passed by quickly as The Valorant Protocol members prepared their things. If what Vincent said was true, then it would be the greatest mission they'll ever undertake. Some questioned the reliability of Vincent, understandable, but their doubts were cleared by pillar of flames rising from a large compound.
"Holy! How come we didn't notice this shit earlier! I doubt I'd miss something this huge!" Phoenix hollered through the microphone.
They were in their high speed helicopters, so ear protection was nesessary.
The compound's outer towers were in flames. Specifically the projectors stationed on top of them. But no one was putting out the fires, they were either dead or preoccupied by the line attacker.
A man dressed in a suit of black was walking– yes, walking– through the armored gate, shooting down any of the armed guards that came at him. He had a peculiar tattoo over his right eye, two diamonds, one over and underneath.
On his back was a large suitcase, in his arms was a weird looking Vandal, on his thigh was a abnormally long Ghost pistol.
His eyes glinted with gold and his gun roared bullets. The amount of solders kept increasing as he kept cutting them down.
"That's Chamber." Viper pointed out.
"Well he looked like he means buisness." Breach hummed loading up his Odin. Brimstone beside him nodded as he loaded his Ares. They were all armed to the teeth as the helicopter descended.
It didn't take long for Vincent and the Kingdom forces to notice. Kingdom began to shoot at them while Vincent kept shooting them down. The Valorant Agent's landed, and streamed outt of the attack helicopter.
Vincent approached them with bloodied hands carrying his Karambit Reaver. The battlefield as clear of enemies for the time being.
"Thank you for accepting my proposal." He huffed, his voice completely void of his nonchalant attitude. He was completely different from the Chamber they used to know.
Everyone nodded, all except Viper, who scowled with murderous intent. "You better not die. You and I have a lot to discuss."
"Of course Sabine." He answered, turning around to the sound of tank treads on concrete. The marching of foot soldiers could be heard.
"It's a tank!" Brimstone yelled. "Get away from the helicopter!"
The agents dashed aside all except Vincent. He instead activated his ult. He wasn't summoning Tour De Force, but a rifle none of them had ever seen.
Long circuit-like tattoos ran across both his arms as he flexed them. The nano technology then transformed into two halves of a black sniper. One was the long barrel, and the other, the rest of the gun.
Vincent conjoined the two pieced and they combined neatly. Into a magnificently terrifying weapon.
He assumed a stable stance, going down on one knee, he stabilized his aim, at the tank.
It was a radianite powered gun, but the expanding gasses made by the high-temperature bolt made a loud bang.
Sova winced. The sound of Tour De Force was loud, but this was a league on its own.
A bullet soared across the broken main road of the compound. Like an asteroid, it collided with the tank, and obliteration took care of the rest.
The tank combusted into a ball of fire, destroying the approaching squadron like they were bugs on a windshield.
Vincent advance casually, looking back to smirk at an a gasht Phoenix. "Still want a personalized weapon?"
Phoenix nodded, watching chamber recall the anti-existence rifle into his own body.
He equipped the Reaver Karambit on his left hand, and the Ghost pistol on his right. "Then as long as you do your job. I promise you a good weapon."
"And what is that exactly?" He asked, hollering.
"Keeping them busy." Vincent pointed to the right of him. More soldiers were marching towards them.
***
Francois was in the bunker hidden in the middle of the building, with over a hundred armed guards. The portal was functioning just fine for a few seconds, unto lit suddenly turned off.
Francois was in the middle of a temper tantrum when the explosions started. The started small and distant at first, but they got bigger and louder.
The power went out and it went dark, further adding to Francois's anxiety. He knew this earth would be doomed so he threw his lot in, with the ones more likely winners. Why was that so hard? Ever since his Son declared war on him, everything started to go wrong.
"Damn it!" He yelled, recalling all the money he spent on bribes, making sure his son was never successful– yet, here is now... On his crusade hell bent on taking his head.
***
Brimstone was yelling orders to all nineteen agent son the field, clearly it was a difficult task as he was starting to lose his voice. The stream of solders kept coming and they kept getting gunned down. These soldiers were willing to die, which made them incredibly annoying.
It a only been a few minutes but many of the controller agents have already called in their ults. Brimstone's orbital strike, Viper's Poison field, Omen teleportung around– it a mess, but they were winning.
The battlefield quelled down enough for the agents to come back to the helicopter and resupply. Even the usually excited and giddy Jett and Neon were getting sick of running around.
Brimstone was eating throat Medicine Candy while he was reloading. "Sabine, you can can go after him."
She just looked at Brimstone, before nodding and leaving.
***
Viper entered the entrance she saw Vincent came too. Obviously he was busy. Fallen soldiers were littered on the halls, Cleary dead and bleeding. Gunshot in the distance alerted her and she readied herself, he gun hoisted up to her eye.
She was wandering the corridors for a few minutes when she heard a fight just around the corner.
The fighting died down and she peeked.
Vincent was crouched down to a lab scientist, with his hand on a knife lodged into a guards throat. "Where is Francois?" he asked, well, commanded from the scientist.
"M-M-Mr Francois i-i-is in t-he underground b-basement."
"Thank you. You can go now." Vincent motioned. The scientist wasted no time to argue and booked it. He noticed a certain Viper behind him. "Viper, are we having our chat so soon?" He smirked at her.
Viper huffed rolling her eyes and looking around. "Perhaps, it would be annoying if you died before we could clear up a few things."
Vincent chuckled as he mad ehis way to the lobby elevator just ahead. "I assure you Mon amour, I won't die. Not if I have you to look forward too." He winked.
Viper tried her hardest not to blush. "Save your flirtatious comments later— In front of you!" she called out, her voice raising at least a key higher.
Vincent snaps forward and hits a guard in the visor with the handle of his pistol, cracking it and discombobulating the guard– before finishing him off with one shot. "Thank you Chérie."
Vincent and crouched down and picked up the belt of smoke grenades, tear gas bombs and normal grenades from the dead guard.
In front of the lobby was a conserige and three elevators. Vincent checked if the area was clear before procceding to the center computer and inserted a small wire and tablet to the USB port.
"You should pay more attention to your surroundings." She tried to lecture, hoping to God he didn't notice her voice squeak.
"Hahaha–" Vinceht chuckled. "I can't help it Chérie, when the distraction is too captivating."
She flinched in surprise before scowling cutely. "bastard."
His comment earned him a punch to the shoulder. "Ow." He muttered, shuting off the computer. He took his gun and destroyed the monitors.
He pulled out his phone and pressed a button. All three elevator doors opened simultaneously. Vincent turned around. "Sabine, it would be best if you wait here."
She shook her head, her hair slightly bobbing side to side. "No. I'm coming with you." She continued to walk forward passing by Vincent who just followed her.
She entered the elevator first while Vincent did something with the other two. They boarded the elevators and the doors closed behind them.
Vicent pressed anith button and the elevator began to descend. Since they had to go down fifty floors at a snail's pace, the silence got boring.
"I think right about now is the best time we have our chat." Viper said, breaking the silence. Vincent gulped down on his saliva.
He was dreading this conversation for a very specific reason, because he's afraid of how she would react.
Vincent loosened the tie before coughing. "I-I think so to... So where do we begin?"
Viper squinted her eyes and furrowed her brows. She exhaled a very long sigh. Which wasn't a good sign. A very not good sign.
"Why did you lie about your identity?" She asked, resolutely.
Vincent was suffocating on air. "So twenty one questions it is" he smiled playfully, sweating buckets.
Viper didn't recognised his playfulness and stomped to his side of the wall, pining him with her hand on his chest.
"Is this some sort of game to you!?" She raised her voice. "Was I just a stepping stone? A cover for you to hide undetected! Was any of this real– mmhp!?"
Vincent made a gamble. This would either defuse the bomb he neglected, or earn him a bullet to the head. There was no in-between, so he did what his heart told him to do.
He leaned down slightly and pounced on her lips. Earning a surprised squeak, from an angry Viper. Her posture staggered back as Vincent removed her hand from his chest and pinned it over her head. Wrapping his other hand by her head, he cushioned the impact. They moved from one side of the elevator to the other.
Pam!
Before Viper knew it, she was pinned to the wall in a very erotic kiss. Her mind went blank and she closed her eyes, she was swept up in his flow. Tongues were dancing to the rythim their fast heartbeats.
They broke away after what seemed like forever. This was their second kiss, but it felt like hundreds.
They were out of breath and Vincent's eyes settled on hers. "W-Why did you kiss me? T-This dosent change anything..." She whimpered slightly.
Vincent pressed their foreheads together in a loving way. "This– This is real." He said, They both shed a tear in happiness. "There was not a night were my heart ached in guilt because I couldn't tell you."
They both swallowed nervously. "I love you." He whispered tenderly. He said the three accursed words. "I was worried about your safety."
Viper frowned slightly. "You think I can't protect myself?"
Vincent shook his head and removed her from his hold and both his hands held her shoulders "No, I'm quite sure you can handle yourself– but I couldn't help but worry." He chuckled "When Mary Grace visited my shop, Kingdom caught on, and by the next hour, troops were stationed undercover around the blocks."
Viper gasped. "We're they the ones that attacked you?"
Vincent nodded. "Yes. I won, driving them away. "
Viper swallowed her spit, her heart was beating on her ribcage threatening to jump out of her chest.
He continued to explain, his regrets were visible. "That was when I knew I had to act fast. To stop my father– mmhp!?"
Viper paid the prior kiss with her own, this time, she was the one on the offensive. Adrenaline rushed her veins and she swept him in her flow.
She moved from his lips and attacked the crook his his neck, "Hmmn.. M?! V-Viper!?" He asked, suprised. She roughly popping of the buttons off his collar and loosened his tie. She roughly and thoroughly left her marks.
She smirked, him helpless from being under her kisses gave her a high. All her worries and fears of their relationship were washed away. She felt free. All her worries were off her shoulders. He onslaught wa sinteruoted when he pried her of him.
She smirked lustfully at him, she admired her handiwork quite a bit. Vincent was pink with embarrassment, his lip smeared with her lipstick smwesred over his face. His collar and tie were a mess and many of his upper chest buttons have been unbuttoned, revealing a litter of small bruises.
His embarrassment turned to a small smirk, revealing his canines. "You want to play? Let's play." He hummed deeply, sending shivers.
Viper was going to regret this.
To be continued.
A/N: She awakened the Frenchman– Oh lord. ;)

And since Dusk became her own thing, I decided the new Pokepasta Sona would look more like.. me.
She was kidnapped, knocked out, was technically dead for a few moments while the kidnapper sewed parts from her grandfathers Espeon and Umbreon.. and then she escaped.
She was not aware that her Pokemon behaviors were not human behaviors, due to having an identity crisis within her head. She would eventually remember her strife, but instead of wanting revenge, she wanted to move on. After all, her grandfather already avenged her 'death'.
Funfacts are below! 18+ ones are under Read More, in case no one wants to read them.
-She is unaware of any Pokemon beyond the Hoenn dex, unless they are Bonsly and Munchlax.
-She knows the following moves: Hypnosis, Return, Crunch, and Toxic. The only reason she could poison people with her fangs is most likely based on Umbreon's dex entries. Absolutely no one is sure how she even learnt Hypnosis.
-Her ability is Synchronize, which both mon's had. If she dislikes the person who's bossing her around, she instead passes on the status ailment she has to her Trainer.
-She can read her fellow Trainers minds, which allows her to anticipate attacks or commands. It helps that Insomnia!Silver normally cannot talk so she's forced to read his mind to know what he wants to say.
-She can see ghosts.. actually, that's a thing she could do even before she was experimented on. Hence why she sees Mike and lays on his lap or chest a lot.
-Due to being half-Pokemon now, she can understand and talk to other Pokemon. She tends to converse with them whenever she is their teammate. Seems to get along with Miki because of this ability.
-She will often act like a cat. Loafing on beds, blepping, sometimes using her psychic powers to pull her fellow Trainers near her to cuddle.. Oh and apparently she has poisonous bites that she can use to force people to cuddle with her longer.
-She has severe abandonment issues, partially due to being left at home for long periods of time. It isn't her grandfathers fault though, sometimes he has to go do something elsewhere.
-She can and will talk about Orre to anyone that asks! She gets excited when people want her to rouse them with a story of her grandfathers adventure!
-Her current OT is marked as Blake. Red wanted to have her, but she growled when he tried to separate her from Blake.
-She's also considered as a team member to Steven (even though he rarely uses her), Gray (who needs to learn how to fight with a Pokemon), Insomnia!Silver (because she has Hypnosis as a move), Glitchy Red (he just likes being around her), and Wally (because she's a pretty good friend of his).
-Dawn also uses her sometimes, but she always needs to be reminded that Ann only knows about things from Gens 1-3.
(18+) -Her heat cycles can get very bad. It's to the point that she actively avoids the others because she does not want to forcefully breed with them. One day she will be able to breed.. one day...
(18+) -She.. has a dick. That's because Umbreon was a male and it just sort of.. happened. She was incredibly flustered when she learnt about that fact.
(18+) -Out of instinct, if she were to ever breed with someone, she'd fuck them doggy style. That's uh.. probably because both her other halves are kinda like dogs (more like foxes, but you know). Also tends to bite the person she breeds with to show that the person is theirs alone.

A new day, a new start to the next half of these new pokemon. 54-62
Bombirdier
They took a stork, gave it a little headpiece and the world’s longest apron. I’m sure it’s supposed to look like something else, but it looks like an apron to me. A flying/dark type, the Item Drop Pokemon, and it has a new hidden ability- Rocky Payload: Powers up rock-type moves. Apparently it is an apron made out of shed feathers, they use it to carry things which they then drop out of the sky for fun and also to carry food. Apparently they like things that make loud noises when they fall.
6/10, because I’m *shrug* overall but their obvious status as the most annoying pokemon to live near earns them points
~
Squawkabilly
The Parrot Pokemon, normal/flying, it’s a simple parrot with a fluffy crest and honestly I’m good with that. Comes in four colors- green, blue, yellow, and silver. Hell of a long name though, what is with those this gen? Each color has their own pokedex entries, with the baseline seeming to be that they’re loud and territorial city-dwellers that congregate in large, color-specific flocks. Green ones have the largest flocks with the most sway, blue ones have a rivalry with green ones, the yellow ones are the most aggressive, and while the white ones are the rarest they have the best camouflage against white and grey buildings.
8/10, tentatively, not a bad pokemon and I think I could grow quite fond of them
~
Flamigo
Oh my gods it’s a pool toy. The Synchronize Pokemon, flying/fighting type, and it looks like a pool floaty at least in this image. New hidden ability- Costar: copies allies state changes upon entering battle. Entire flocks can attack in perfect unison, and they tie their necks in knots to prevent energy from escaping their bellies, I love it.
8/10, my dad would want like twelve, again

Klawf
Another one of those pre-release ones, we all know the walking crab dinner. They hunt by hanging upside down on the walls of the cliffs they live among, but can’t stay that way too long because the blood rushes to their head. Section. Thing. Also they sidestep but that’s just crab stuff.
6.4/10, it’s a good crab, but not a spectacular one

Nacli
They made salt a pokemon. Specifically the Rock Salt Pokemon, rock type of course. It’s a rock with big cubes of salt and eyes, I don’t know what to tell you. Even it’s name is just the chemical makeup of salt with an ‘i’ at the end. It’s got a new ability called Purifying Salt that protects it from status conditions and halves the power of ghost-type moves against it. They were treasured in the old days because they’re constantly producing and share their salt, and even if they didn’t share it apparently they leave salt behind as they scrape along the ground.
8/10, it’s another food pokemon which, seriously is this a cry for help, but I like it well enough
Naclstack
They took Nacli and made it a 4-legged rock critter. I can just picture one sleeping in front of the fireplace, with a Cyclizar in a basket off to the side. Apparently they’re predators that dry cure their prey (whether alive or not isn’t specified so I assume-). They also shoot salt pellets so hard as to pierce iron sheets.
9/10, is A Friend
Garganacl
Gargamel? Nope, sorry, wrong franchise. It’s a big two-legged troll, column, pyramid thing now. Far superior to Coalossal, mind, but no Gigalith. Their salt heals things now, which I guess plays well with that new ability, and they sprinkle it over injured people and pokemon to help them. Things flock to lick at it’s mineral-rich salt.
8/10, I was gonna give it a seven because I don’t like the design but they pulled a Chansey line again and made it food and a medic, which I love, so it gains points enough to make up for the design. Not enough to beat out Naclstack though, he’s my buddy

Glimmet
Oh! This is the one I heard about, the poison/rock flower thing. It’s the Ore Pokemon, and looks a but like a little blue flower on a bulbous purple stem. Got a new ability- Toxic Debris: scatters poison spikes at opponents feet when his by a physical attack. It’s petals are made of crystallized poison, it scatters poisonous dust like pollen as a form of defense, and it absorbs nutrients from cave walls. Cool.
7/10, like the concept, but I’m not in love with it
Glimmora
It’s one big flower bud now. Not really much to say there. It’s petals resemble tera jewels, and it spreads them when it senses danger before firing lasers at it’s opponents.
7/10, better design, but not enough to bump it up

I mean it, are the folks at Gamefreak starving? I love me a notably edible pokemon, but they’re going a bit overboard this time around.
