DRV3: Resolute Rebellion - Character Intro 17...?
"Hello world!"
A tool used to test incomplete modded scenarios in the Prologue and Chapter 1, where Kaede is the protagonist still.
Incomplete files might still attempt to find Kaede on lines that haven't been edited yet. As the game will crash or softlock when it attempts to place the camera on a character who is not loaded on the map, Crash Handler Kaede prevents these situations by remaining loaded on the map regardless.
They're a peppy spirit, much like Kaede herself. Without any worries in the world, they perform their duties by receiving signals via the ahoge/antenna on their head.
#drv3#danganronpa v3#danganronpa modding#drv3 resolute rebellion#okay at first this was a joke but I WAS SO QUICKLY ENAMOURED WITH THEM#the ahoge antenna idea. seb suggested that and I immediately adopted both the idea and my new drv3 ocs#it's crazy but now these are my first danganronpa ocs. crash handlers kaede and shuichi#they/them not because nonbinary but because there are literally multiple of them (but also because nonbinary)

there really is a cultural pressure for transmascs & men to detransition, and it comes from all sides. it comes from the queer community too, not just terfs and cishet transphobes.
it took me a while to realize why transphobic people and transandrophobic queers utterly despise trans guys & mascs who are over the age of like 25- it's because it pisses them right off that we've resisted their attempts to make us detransition. it makes them so angry to see they were unable to groom that person into a life of self-shame and repression. it really seems like MOST people believe that trans men will just detransition eventually in life? people NEVER think about older trans men, only teenage trans boys and trans men in their very early twenties.
when i was involved with my local punk scene i was addressed with condescension, almost everyone around me didn't accept transmasculinity as a legitimate identity and thought that we would've transitioned by now in life. i encountered folks who would talk about transmasculinity with subtle disgust that made me feel like i was doing something wrong, and people who expressed overt disgust, saying in plain english that they were disgusted by breasts and vaginas because they were gay men. all along the way i was literally mocked for not having a penis, and one of my roommates started treating me differently once they found out i didn't have one (because they were attracted to me)
i've been on T for 9 years, and been out as a trans man for a bit longer than that, and i noticed as i've aged i've also attracted a lot of folks who have tried to deter me from identifying as a trans man, either through directly telling me that trans men are inherently dangerous, or by implying that women or another gender are safer, quieter, calmer, "less traumatizing to be around," etc. one of my exes told me they were terrified to date me (despite literally going out of their way to do so for over half a year) because they were scared i would be transphobic to them because i'm a transmasculine lesbian.
i received pressure from online friends to either detransition and become an intersex butch woman, or to something feminine adjacent or nonbinary. for years i dealt with a few friends who kept subtly hinting that i should stop identifying as a trans man or trans masc because of how awful transmascs are- going as far as to sending me screenshots of transmascs speaking, complaining about them and calling them whiny, annoying. talking about how all transmascs are entitled, how all transmascs take things too personally, how we complain too much, and so on.
people make no effort to make space for transmascs and men. i met 0 transmascs in my local punk community that i was able to stay in contact with. none. i met a few in passing but none that actually were introduced to me in a capacity where i could actually try to befriend them. it really felt like other punks in the scene were desperately trying to keep the transmascs apart at times. excuses were made as to why i couldn't hang out with other transmascs i liked, but i was constantly being forced to befriend transphobic cis gay men and transandrophobic transfemmes who outwardly expressed hatred and disgust of us. it really felt like it was on purpose... almost as if other members of this community wanted our attention, but never wanted us to give each other attention or a sense of community. like we were objects, not people to be included in the community for real. satellite friends, if you will.
i'll be honest with you. i was at my lowest at this point. i realized i wasn't just a trans man and that i'm a genderqueer person who experiences multiple genders, including womanhood and an "other" gender, which was great. however now i was being forced to completely stuff down being a man for the sake of other people. instead of folks telling me they'd rather not hang out with transmascs, folks rather just attempted to guilt me for identifying as such in the hopes i'd stop identifying that way. i was being told daily that trans men and mascs are inherently violent and terrible to be around. i was in discord servers where transmascs were being kicked constantly for getting even slightly upset about transandrophobia, or being unfairly targeted by staff.
it's violence, but nobody wants to call it that. i pulled myself out of there and am now able to contact other transmascs and trans men who are proud of who they are and have elevated me back into a headspace where it's okay to truly be myself. just keep in mind that if you feel like you're in that situation, you're not alone. people who attempt to groom others are often very subtle it's not always up front. they will start slipping in hateful sentiments very slowly and make you feel like maybe they're the ones who are actually right.
it feels good to be an almost 32 year old trans guy. there's nothing to be ashamed about there. people project their feelings on to my gender and that has nothing to do with me. it has nothing to do with you, either. people will just project on to you for whatever reason- hatred is usually the motivator there. if you encounter folks who keep trying to badger you out of identifying as your gender, no matter who you are, transmasc, transfemme, transneutral, trans anything- they are not good for you. they are not your friends. they do not accept you as you are and you deserve so much better.

I'm not very plugged into deltarune or undertale- why're people he/him-ing Kris?? (If you don't mind explaining, feel free to delete)
unfortunately this IS going to be a long answer because I kind of also have to talk about undertale to give you the full context here. Undertale, the predecessor game to deltarune, features a silent protagonist named Frisk. Frisk is a nonbinary character and uses exclusively they/them pronouns, but because they are a silent protagonist--i.e. a backstory-less, personality-less blank slate that the player can project themself onto--there were significant debates when undertale first came out about whether the they/them pronouns used in game dialog were frisk's canon pronouns or if they were placeholders and frisk's gender was intended to be up to player interpretation. (it's not uncommon in RPGs to have a genderless or gender-neutral silent protagonist--link legendofzelda for example was allegedly specifically designed to look more androgenous when the games made the switch to 3d so that female players could project onto him just as easily as male ones.) In response to those debates, Toby fox, the writer and developer of undertale, clarified multiple times that frisk's pronouns are NOT up for interpretation; they are nonbinary and use exclusively they/them.
And then there's deltarune. kris, the protagonist and player-character, is, like frisk, a specifically nonbinary character. But they're also kind of a bait-and-switch silent protagonist. for the majority of the first chapter of the game, kris is presented to you, similarly to frisk, as a silent protagonist--a player-insert character who can be projected onto. HOWEVER. arguably the central point of deltarune, which the game spends the next 3 chapters making INCREDIBLY clear to you, is that kris is NOT actually a silent protagonist. kris is a fully-fledged character with their own wants and feelings and relationships and an entire personality, but when you as the player take control of them, you are explicitly robbing them of all agency. they become that emotionless, silent blank slate AGAINST THEIR WILL because you are forcing yourself on them.
despite this literally being The Entire Point Of The Game, people with no reading comprehension whatsoever have decided that kris's pronouns are up to their personal interpretation. Again, i need to stress how much the literal entire point of the game is that absolutely nothing about kris is up to player interpretation and in fact kris actively resents and in some cases literally tries to physically hurt the player for attempting to force them to act according to the player's will. For some reason these people do not think this applies to their pronouns. even though we had the exact same debate almost ten years ago about frisk and toby told us MULTIPLE TIMES what the correct answer is.
tldr these guys can't read and/or hate nonbinary people. that's really the long and short of it. And it's specifically he/him and not she/her because kris is weird and at times openly violent whereas Frisk was constantly getting she/her-ed because their story was about nonviolence and love, which people assumed were feminine traits. tldr for the tldr it's good old fashioned transphobia and misogyny with a healthy dose of dogshit reading comprehension. what else is new

really can’t stand people who refuse to even try with neopronouns or understand therians because to my autistic brain it is so fucking simple and I feel like it’s actually everyone else that are over complicating shit.
We came up with a couple terms to describe a couple ideas of self. He, she, they. I don’t use neos, but I do use he and they. I use he because I am masculine aligned and I use they because I am also nonbinary and not entirely masc. I don’t have any feelings towards myself that do not feel human.
But some of our gendered pronouns aren’t even enough, and on the realest note, my gender is probably somewhere between boy slut and freak, but I usually just keep that to myself. If someone feels like these words aren’t specific enough to them, fuck yeah make another one. Are you kidding me? You explored your own identity enough to have come up with a special custom term that perfectly describes you? That’s so fucking cool dude.
If a neurodivergent person with CPTSD feels extremely inhuman because of their psychology/ trauma or real world experiences with discrimination, (wow you mean the person everyone treats differently doesn’t feel very human?! that’s crazy!) but they do however have a very easy time relating and communicating with cats through their nonverbal social cues, if they feel comfortable and expressive wearing a tail and ears, and think of themselves as “cat”, okay??? cool? Cat is a homie, tf. Why wouldn’t I want to be friends with cat, cat seems to know how to have fun.
If a neurodivergent person with DID has multiple altars that are littles, and because of some experience, they experience their little as an animal, a puppy, or baby bird, …. okay??? cool??? I’m not really in any kind of position to tell chick that chick can’t fucking exist, and honestly it’s really none of my business how a system manages their littles. “oh they’re probably mentally ill” okay??? And perhaps they are? They’re still living are they not? They still exist, yes? So am I going to go out of my way to make their existence more difficult? I don’t really see the point!!!
If a neurodivergent person with antisocial personality disorder has never felt connected to humanity whatsoever and simply does not want to be referred to by human terms, it’s really not my place to debate about it.
It doesn’t even have to be that serious. You’ve always identified strongly with fairies? Be a fucking fairy dude. No one can stop you. You feel like you’re an elf? Okay! No one can control you, you are whatever the fuck you are regardless of how anyone feels. You can reinvent yourself tomorrow. Why tf not.
Is it really that hard to dynamically adapt language? Like, when people tell me they don’t know how they could possibly use xi xim or xe xer (pronounced with a Z) in a sentence, it tells me that they literally have a lower capacity for learning language. Like they’re not smart enough to apply pronoun grammatical rules to new words, they can’t even fathom the concept of a new word because they somehow believe that words aren’t made up by people but just pop magically into existence. You don’t have to get neopronouns but if you’re telling me you seriously cannot figure it out, I’m genuinely going to think you’re slightly dumb (unless you’re dyslexic, you get a pass I know it’s rough out here for y’all lmao)
It’s not that I think every case of neopronouns is easily explainable and super simple, because it doesn’t even have to be.
It’s more so that, with 7 billion fucking humans on this planet, it’s really not a surprise to me that some of them express their identity through non human terms. As someone with autism I can understand that, even if I don’t feel the exact same. There is always going to be some weird person who goes by knife/knives or bun/bunny. Im kind of just happy they’ve found something they can feel comfortable within. I genuinely cannot bring myself to care enough to argue with someone about it.
The whole “so I can identify as an attack helicopter?” thing is so stupid because if you were being genuine you could identify as a damn fighter jet. But y’all ain’t ready for that conversation because everyone who is passionate is too cringe for y’all to handle.

woo first post of the year! i finally finished my doodles of everyone in the streamer au :3 i’m rlly excited to post it cuz i love this au dearly!! some lil snippets of info about everyone is below the cut if ur curious abt this silly au :3
LTTM | Kamaria (she/her)
Works as a nutritionist, was inspired to go into the field because both her parents are doctors! Usually mods Sig’s chat and occasionally joins streams if she’s up for it. In a book club with Cyra, and is a little gym rat, specifically weight training and likes to joke that she can bench-press Sayani (she can.). Usually level-headed but gets extremely anxious when people get sick, especially Felix. Thankfully Sayani and Cyra are there to force her to rest and help if one of them is under the weather. Massive lesbian and Sayani’s partner.
SRS | Cyra (they/he/xe)
Sheltered catholic boy turned nonbinary librarian with like 3 boyfriends (gn). Started using they/them on accident when they got asked their pronouns in class and panicked and blurted “he/they” and then was too awkward to correct himself. Currently attends school with Felix, getting their masters degree in library science (xier bachelors was in history). On the very rare occasion they join sayani’s streams, xe wears a facemask which has triggered sayani’s fanbase to make a “headcanon” that he’s a vampire and doesn’t wanna show his fangs. Joined a book club to find some friends that he goes to with Kamaria.
SOS | Sylvia (she/her)
ngl she’s usually just a background character, probably an accountant or something
OSO | Felicity (she/her)
fun fact i literally googled “bitchy girl names” to get a name for her. looks like a tired office woman. probably works with sliver and hates her.
EOI | Echos (any/all)
haven’t really used him either but they’re vegan and like crocheting :3 probably has a small business on etsy or smth
CW | Chase (he/him)
straightest gay man in existence. had piper convinced he was genuinely straight until yui told them otherwise. sig’s childhood best friend and partner in crime. not a streamer but does play games with sig regularly. his last name is Gray-Windsor (clubs came up with that banger)
NSH | Sayani (she/he/it)
god i could dump so much stuff about this lil freak. she’s a streamer, obviously, and also a top-ranked esports player in multiple FPS games. refuses to tell chat its pronouns bc she thinks it’s funny watching them guess. gets hella bitches and is dating kamaria, cyra, & felix, and occasionally fucks around with piper, yui, & chase. his mom is from the philippines and his dad is japanese, and her mom speaks to him mostly in tagalog, which sig can understand but can’t speak (…aside from swear words, lmao). attended the same college as felix & cyra’s for one semester until the streaming thing blew up.
PI | Piper (they/them)
DEFINITION OF PRETTY PRIVILEGE. PURE OF HEART AND DUMB OF ASS. lowkey stoner and helps felix w his chronic pain. highkey gay whore, is with Felix officially and kinda Cyra and Sayani. competitive esports player & streamer who met sayani at a competition.
UI | Yui (she/they)
streamer & competitive esports player, can come off as a bit of a bitch due to being defensive in such a male-dominated space. from korea and makes fun of sig for not being bilingual like she is. very close friends with piper and phoebe.
ABL | Phoebe (they/them)
again, haven’t really used them much but they’re yui’s best friend. has a massive crush on yui but doesn’t really have the confidence to go for it. enjoys fashion design.
FP | Felix (he/him)
Kamaria’s adopted brother (hence why he’s a scrawny ass white boy). Battled cancer as a child and deals with chronic pain due to it, but has been in remission since he was 12! has to use crutches when he walks sometimes. artsy little fuck and getting his bachelors of fine arts, drew all of the emotes for sayani’s streams. used to be camera shy but eventually came to be a pretty regular guest on stream, and occasionally does little drawing streams. knows how to play guitar and sing, but thinks his voice sounds “girly” so he doesn’t do it often. dating sayani, cyra, and piper.
aaaaaand yeah! that’s all i can think of rn lmfao. i’m probably gonna hit post and be like “NO I FORGOT TO SAY—“ but oh well lmfao. feel free to send me asks abt it :D

“why is the possibility of transness something dan needs to be defended from, anyways? it's a compliment and we know dan takes it that way.” god thank you i am so glad you’re back. it pisses me off so bad how much people fundamentally misunderstand dan and BIG. as if he hasn’t mentioned gender at least 10 times this year. as if he hasn’t reiterated multiple times how it was thanks to his audience that he accepted himself as queer and was able to come out. as if he doesn’t love trans people and would never take offense at other trans people seeing themselves in him even if he is cis. i genuinely don’t get people who think it’s less harmful to be adamant that he’s a cis gay man experimenting with self expression like i promise you the line between that and transness is not that thick
mwah ily anon i'm always glad to wade back into the trenches 💛
you're literally so right w all of this but i'm especially seconding that the line between cis gay man experimenting w gender identity and transness being thinner than people think. it's so fucking real and i wish people held more room for that in their hearts.
sometimes a person's experience with gender is such that they need to figure out their sexuality and what it means to them and for them before being able to look at gender and people don't like. get that. sometimes a lesbian figures out they're a lesbian and only after that also figures out they're nonbinary and transmasc. the same can be true for gay men.
and some people only accept & understand it for transmasc lesbians rather than understanding that that doesn't only exist for lesbians. and that's fully due to unexamined transmisogyny.
there are so many lesbians and gay men alienated from binary womanhood or manhood to the point that they keep their sexuality but identify away from their assigned gender completely! there's so many of us with gender identities that seem mutually exclusive with our sexualities but aren't because we just. exist. contradictory and complex gender identities exist.
like. the underlying assumptions people approach dan gender conversations with are so hostile towards people with nonbinary identities like mine that i'm not willing to talk about myself here.
and it makes me crazy. because people constantly say "you're deciding for dan what his label is" or like "you're claiming specifics" while simultaneously firmly labeling dan as cis. and every single dan gender poster i know is saying "isn't it beautiful that dan could be anything, even cis and gnc?"
we're just commenting on probabilities. none of us are claiming sure knowledge.
and i really think trying to deny that dan is exploring gender expression at the very least is laughably impossible at this point.

What's being multigender like for you?
I'm male, nonbinary/maverique, and so am also multigender/bigender. I use these all separately though. Some people will know I'm only male, or only nonbinary, or only nonbinary male (which yes, is a separate thing from male or nonbinary only, I would not consider it a more "accurate" or "honest" label than the others, like this isn't a discrimination thing).
For the male part, saying I'm nonbinary male will make people want to put me in a separate category from (binary) male, which is just plain wrong and insulting, my gender is literally identical to binary male, not something else.
For the nonbinary part, it exists entirely on its own, and part of its definition is not being anything else (like male), I really cannot emphasise how not male or anything else it is, people will attribute some sort of maleness to my nonbinary identity if I say I'm male nonbinary, which is also just so wrong.
For nonbinary male / male nonbinary, it's its own unique experience, and I'm not talking about some "it's a complex mix of two identities, so it feels new and unconventional" type thing, it's literally just its own thing. I guess in that sense I'm also trigender, or bitrigender. I would want people to treat me as both if that's the identity I went with for them, like no no, not male or nonbinary, both, the both is very important. Don't just acknowledge one and not the other, that's pretty insulting and bigoted. If I went with just male or nonbinary, then the application of something else other than that one identity would also be insulting and bigoted. Bit weird maybe.
For my name too, I'm only okay with it because it's both stereotypically masculine and gender neutral, depending on the culture / perspective. And if I wanted to, I could also get away with making it both male and nonbinary. I did the same with my middle and last name. More weird grammar rules make them neutral, masculine, and thus both too.
And thinking about multigender and monogender, just because I've recently been making stuff for them, I think, what is multigender, if not just multiple monogenders? Probably doesn't fit for other people, but I quite like it, wording it like that. So I'm also multimono(gender).
I wonder if any other people are doing similar things, and maybe they just don't talk about it for obvious reasons? It wouldn't be a bad thing if it was just a me thing, I accept that I don't fit in (already applicable for my other experiences).
Note: I'm using male and nonbinary to mean both gender and sex, just if it seemed confusing.

Hello, I am so sure you're tired of hearing white people's story idea worries but uh. Here I am. I'm bad at keeping things short but I will try my best. In my main project I'm working on, three of the four protagonists are POC, two of whom are Black. I've had friends say that one would be described as Afro-Latina in the real world, but that's kind of my problem - this is a fantasy story, and I'm trying very hard not to use those kinds of Real World Words. I'm currently doing a full rewrite and one of my goals is to actually describe people more, because I notoriously hate character description (if a book has a goddamn looking-in-the-mirror-describing-myself scene I'm immediately throwing it away). I guess what I'm getting at is... how do you convey a character's race in a world that isn't ours? I've tried to bring it up a few times in narration but I'm worried it's going to get forgotten. I also wanted to ask in regards to one of the protagonists specifically, the one who may be Afro-Latina: She's a princess, and so the historical ruling family is Black. But like most (if not all) royalty, they have done some heinous shit in the past. This isn't doing the oppression-reversal thing, is it? And lastly, the royal family (including this princess protagonist) has piebaldism. I can't remember why I originally gave them this trait and I'm working on having it be more accurate genetically, but I'm worried that this is somehow racist? Basically, this story is not *about* being Black or anything, I'm certainly not qualified to write about that, but as a queer person I find the idea of "casual representation" incredibly important. That is to say, a character is undeniably X (be it Black, nonbinary, autistic, etc), but this fact doesn't necessarily have an impact on the plot. It's the hope of getting to the point where literally any combination of race/gender/sexuality/etc can be an "everyman" without raising questions. So all that is to say, I want to make sure the races of these characters are clear and undeniable, even if its a fantasy world. Thank you for all your hard work on this blog and I'm sorry to come to you like this! I hope you have a good week!
I don't think that was the best way to lead, no😅 Y'all don't have to apologize to me for being white. I'm going to direct you to read all of my lessons to help with your lack of confidence, but I'm gonna direct you to some specific ones for the questions you asked:
Gotta be honest, if you're not willing to commit to the Blackness of this character, then you shouldn't really bother writing her or any of them 😅 lesson 3 goes into why getting some sort of specific detail on a Black character is important. Just because "real world" races don't exist in your story, doesn't mean that that's not what we're going to see on human characters! White people might exist in your world, but you're not going to call them white! If you want us to see someone that would, in our world, be considered an Afro-Latina, then that's what you're gonna have to describe. Describe hair texture, skin tone; everything technique you'd use to describe a nonblack person, you're gonna use those same techniques!
Afro-Latina is an ethnicity, btw. She could look like literally anything. Do you want us to see examples of her specific culture, on top of her physical description? What else do you know about that culture you're referencing? I have another lesson that discusses that, plus, I always suggest Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko for this question. See how a Black author incorporates multiple real world cultures without ever saying those names outright!
Why would piebaldism be racist, when it's a genetic condition? 😅
As for the ruling family thing, refer to this lesson, but generally, it's not going to be racist unless you are careless about your narrative and make it so. 👍🏾 Do the research!

I saw a post fairly recently about how trans men can't reclaim the t slur because it's not directed at them. Trans mascs rightfully got in the comments and called them out for it, talking about their own experiences with getting called. Op clapped back with "think about when the average person here's the term they're thinking of a trans fem stereotype."
A piece of me wishes I could've snapped back with, "the same could be said about the word trans itself." I've met far too many people who are hateful talk about how it's so interesting that "men want to be women" but it's not the other way around. Never mind the fact that I a trans man who lives stealth was sitting next to them. Trans men are so far removed from the conversation that by that logic Trans doesn't belong to Trans men/mascs because the average person is going think of trans women a majority of the time unless they are active in the queer community or have a loved one who's a trans man.
yeah that's bullshit because trans men get called ugly tranny dykes literally all the time. people are so proud to admit they've never once tried to look into transmasculinity and transmasculine history period. like i'm calling people out on their shit. you know nothing about transmasc, trans male and butch history if you seriously think we're not affected by tranny. we're also tranny fags to others. we constantly get called tranny faggots. i'm not sure why people think transness only applies to transfeminine people. like. people DO catch on to the fact that transmasculine people are on hormones sometimes or are presenting as men and call us trannies.
like once people do catch on to the fact that there are transmasculine people and trans men, they call us trannies all the same. it also affects trans men and mascs who are perceived as trans women and transfems. it affects intersex people. it affects nonbinary people. it affects genderqueer people. it affects drag kings
I've met far too many people who are hateful talk about how it's so interesting that "men want to be women" but it's not the other way around. Never mind the fact that I a trans man who lives stealth was sitting next to them.
say it. it's just way too common. that's how uninformed cishet people view transness and i don't know why we're propagating it inside of our own community. some people want to control the narrative so bad, it makes me wonder if the reason people are attempting to silence transmascs is literally for that exact purpose. like transness comes in multiple forms.
testosterone is also a hormone. HRT is not synonymous with estrogens. changing your body with testosterone is transsexuality/transness. masculinizing is transness. presenting as a man is transness. we have to stop associating trans with purely feminine. this leaves out SO many butch trans women. so many masc and genderfluid trans women. it leaves out so many people on all sides.
there's not one way to be trans. trans men still face transphobia, and yes, including transphobia unique to transmasculine experiences and those interpreted to be transmasc.
the trans community is not the trans woman/transfemme community. that is the trans woman/transfemme community. those communities are plentiful and right there.
we have to let go of whatever this control freak desire is to shut other people out but it's not hurting us to exist alongside other people and not police their language. you're not literally being harmed by being exposed to transmasculinity and trans manhood. can we as trans women and transfems exist alongside other trans people WITHOUT telling them what they do and don't experience, and policing their language.
this is so old. stop it. there's no reason to be this hostile. we don't own transness. it's a diverse spectrum. you're literally holding yourself back by feeling this way. it's not helping you toward feeling comfortable as a trans woman. you're making your entire life about your suffering and nothing else. you're not more legitimately trans than other people because you're very oppressed. transness is not on a scale of least to most oppressed in terms of legitimacy. let go. liberate yourself.

Radfem and gender critical in the sense that I understand that within a society that has created a concept of gender, it IS understandable to "feel like a man/woman" because we subconsciously associate certain traits/behaviors/activities with male and female, however also being reasonable enough to conclude that these vague definitions of gender are social constructs, and complying with them harms everyone because it leads to perpetuating stereotypes associated with both sexes.
I'll use myself as an example. I identified with men/'nonbinary' people for multiple years because I did not "feel like a woman," and I was raised mainly by my father (who for whatever great reason lacks any sense of conservatism and raised me identically to my brother) and have very few female relatives, so I naturally shared more in common with men. Like, literally, I was raised with the stereotypical "crying is weak" father, except he extended that policy to both his children and didn't exempt me from it because he thought I was inherently weak due to being female.
I'm assertive, i'm ambitious, I'm competitive, i'm driven, i'm very literal and down to earth, I like working with my hands and am very physical, I dislike being given princess treatment and enjoy much more giving said treatment and serving others, i'm highly independent, i often struggle with reactive aggression and am very out of tune with any other emotions, and I often get along well with men before they discover i'm female.
I've also never experienced key markers of what society deems "womanhood." I have never worn makeup in my entire life. I still don't know how to do it, nor do I have a desire to. I've never regularly shaven, only my armpits. Ive worn "boy" clothes since childhood because I like their practicality. I've known I was sapphic since I was 10, and lesbian specifically since 14, and because much of what we deem "womanhood" revolves around men, I lack that aspect of "femininity." I've never had an emotional connection with children nor particularly maternal instincts; I feel the urge to protect children physically and keep them safe, but not much else. I've never felt particularly connected to other women besides our physical bodies.
It makes sense why I thought I was born as the wrong sex; internally, I am very similar to many men and cannot relate with what society deems "womanhood" to be. So obviously I fell for the idea that I wasn't a woman. I'd make a great man in the context of what society deems to be masculine.
But this only lasted until I was, like, 15 and realized that what society considers feminine and masculine is extremely culturally specific. There was nothing inherently masculine about me. I'm only "masculine" in the context of the society I live in. There is no objective definition of masculinity or femininity; they're merely the traits a given society associates with and expects out of males and females, but they're not inherent or sex-specific.
This can also be extended to gender in general. We've come to a point where "man" and "woman" have been stripped of their literal definitions and reduced to vague and ambiguous senses of identity that are extremely specific to every person, but generally follow the pattern of sex stereotypes that exist within the given society. When you comply with these stereotypes and identify as a different sex because of your traits not aligning with what society deems feminine/masculine, you are implying that these traits are inherent to male/female people (also known as bioessentialism.) If i were to identify as a man/male because of my traits and say i was "born the wrong sex," that would imply that these traits cannot be found in female people. That's obviously a ridiculous idea since I am myself a female person who has these traits, and every transmasc is also a female person who naturally has these traits. The ideology is inherently harmful because you continue to perpetuate the idea that certain behaviors/traits are inherent to females, and others to males.
Additionally, not my main point but worth mentioning, having to separate the use of men/women from "male human" and "female human" is linguistically a pain in the ass; we no longer have words to describe male and female humans because we can no longer correlate femaleness and maleness to the words due to the idea of gender. Man and woman (literally) are like stallion and mare: they tell you absolutely nothing about the individual besides their sex.
So yes, I am a woman, but not for any reason aside from my biological sex. I do not "identify" with being a woman, it is not a personality trait nor sense of self, it is merely a descriptor of my physical body. I do not feel discomfort being female, I feel discomfort with a misogynistic society. Gender isn't real.
However, this is also the reason I am not particularly hostile towards trans people. I do not think most trans people identify as such out of malice- their actions don't exist in a vacuum. It is perfectly logical to believe you're the other sex when you have traits that society continually tells you are inherent to the other sex. But to deny physical reality is delusional.

I STILL NEED TO FINISH SEASON 8 luckily I found a google drive with all the episodes so I can finish the show BUT
VOLTRON THOUGHTS!!!!
-I don’t think I actually watched the show the first time I watched it cause everything was new to me except for the stuff that was in the AvoRabo reaction videos+I didn’t even finish the show the first time around
-I yearned for more of the characters themselves the entire show. There were so many times where I just felt like I didn’t care about the plot and wanted to see the characters actually interact.
-I wish we got more Hunk dialogue that wasn’t fat jokes. I really would’ve cared about him more in the show itself if it wasn’t for that
-I miss my wife tails (Pidge)
-Ngl I did not care for most of what we saw of Keith and Shiros backstories and arcs and stuff because I didn’t care about them as characters. They were all plot and no personality most of the show. I couldn’t even name a hobby they have even if I tried really hard
-I have a headcanon that Lance got a buzz cut before he went to the garrison and he had been trying to grow his hair back out since which is why it looks like that.
-Honestly I think the Klance art is cute and I see the vision. But it’s not my thing. Honestly, I dig Plance (this may be biased because I initially got into VLD because of a friend who shipped Plance and Ngl I’d rather ship Pidge with myself I love Pidge) and Heith more
-Pidge is hot I love Pidge
-I see Pidge as nonbinary but I respect the people who hc them as a trans guy or even a trans girl I think that’s cool as hell. I’m just nonbinary so I’m somewhat projecting.
-Lance is so bisexual I like to think Pidge was like how he realized he was bi. But also because I’m not totally against Klance, I like to think he didn’t think he could possibly like guys and so his crushes on guys kind of like manifested as insecurity and jealousy and that’s what was going on with him and Keith.
-I wish Hunk and Keith would’ve interacted more
-I like Punk as besties they’re so best friends
-hc that Punk is actually punk
-I’ve only watched the first episode of season 8 but I feel like Pidge is getting done so dirty
-the callback to the old Voltron is cool but I kind of hated the way they did it
-Why did I care more about Sven getting hurt in the alternate reality episode than I did for most of Keith’s backstory stuff
-I heart Allura so much omg there was one episode where she fucking threw Shiro through that door and I was like WOAAAAHHHH
-They did her so dirty towards the end of the show and Allurances development had nearly no build up. I don’t hate Allurance but it’s just :|
-I like how Pidge is thought of as a voice of reason but they’re not. Girl snuck into a government facility with a new identity and had got into their systems multiple times before. They are insane in the best way I love them
-I cut my hair because of Pidge I’m ngl with you guys they’re so gender
-Pidge Holtttt
-I wish we got to know why Matt nicknamed Pidge that. Like where did that come from. Like I know the real reason is because the original shows but like I mean in universe.
-guys I’m literally Pidge Holt I’m also Italian
-I wish Romelle was an actual character
-Veronica is hot
-Pidge Holt looks somewhat similar to my irl partner fun fact
-I love Pidge and Matt’s dynamic they’re so cutie patootie :(((
-this might just devolve into me obsessing over Pidge
-GARFLE WARFLE SNICK 🔥🔥🔥🔥
-I loved how silly the Galran team was in that episode
-I loved seeing Zarkon and Honerva in their backstory they were kind of cutie patootie
-I also loved Monsters and Mana
-I also loved Lotors generals but I wish Zethrid had more dialogue other than “punch stuff >:(“
-I can’t believe I didn’t appreciate Coran before. I love him, he’s so silly.
-I think too many people simplify Pidge to smol gremlin and I hate it.
-Some of the outfits I see people put Keith and Lance in are so not them. Keith is NOT going to wear an eboy outfit
-I hate the way they did Keith becoming the black paladin I’m sorry
-some of the battles were such bullshit I’m sorry like I know it’d be boring if Voltron was literally invincible to everything but it’s supposed to be the most powerful weapon??? A lot of battles were really boring too.
-also why is there ALWAYS something like we couldn’t even have a nice Pidge and Matt reunion they got interrupted by that one guy.
-Honestly I was never fully convinced on the bond they told us the paladins had. I feel like I didn’t see enough to fully believe they were like a team and friends like that
-Tbh I never cared about Keith and Shiro as much as I think I was supposed to.
-I hated how 90% of Lances interaction with Pidge was just them saying something sciency and him going “wtf r u saying” THEY WENT TO THE SAME SCHOOL HE SHOULD KNOW SOMETHINGGG IDC IF THEY WERE FOCUSING ON DIFFERENT THINGS LET HIM BE SMART MORE
-I love how the Paladins gradually started using Altean/Space time measurements I think that’s a cool immersive detail to bring home the point that they’re not on Earth and they’re dealing with Alien civilizations and stuff
-what was the deal with the pure yellow eyes, the Balmerans have them, the lions have them, the Galra has them, is there any significance to them???
-I’m not normal about Pidge guys

i really do wonder what ppl who tout the "non-men loving non-men" definition of lesbian think about multigender people. do they EVER consider us? even a tiny bit? bc it certainly doesnt feel like it. it feels like any one of these situations:
they already dont think being multigender is a thing, and say shit like "you can only be a man, a woman, or nonbinary, not all of the above."
they quite literally dont think about how multigender people would work in relation to sexuality. they may claim to support us, but they dont pay attention to or care about the fact our gender identity ISNT just an isolated thing that has no affect or connection to anything else about us.
they look at my gender (genderfluid between woman, man, and many forms of nonbinary, more oftentimes a mix), and say oh well youre PARTIALLY a man in some way so that means you cant be a lesbian! so, basically my man-ness just "taints" me and negates the fact that im also a woman and nonbinary? what about the days where my genderfluidity contains no bit of man at all? can i only be a lesbian SOMETIMES?
they yell about non-men all they want, but see my gender and go, "oh not YOU though :) i mean people who are ONLY a man!" and not realize how that is 1. them not saying at all what they mean in their definition if still SOME men are okay and 2. extremely comes across as misgendering and that they dont see me as Actually a man if im not mono-gendered, regardless of their intention. if you are going to categorize people as "men or non-men" and try to fit me in only one or the other, you are misgendering me no matter what. non-men is not the same thing as non-mono-gendered-men.
and all of this also makes me wonder: what would these people think if they saw me in person, holding hands with my girlfriend?
for context: transmeds would 100% consider me a faker not only bc im genderfluid, use any pronouns (esp neos), and am without dysphoria (for gender anyways), but because theyd think im just cis. im afab with no hormone changes or surgery, nor do i want any (my ideal genitals being a dick or barbie-doll-smooth aside, since i dont care enough to do surgery about it, and any of my other gender ideals would require shapeshifting), i like my big boobs, AND im femme. my fat even adds to my curves. most people would probably read me as only a girl and not think twice about it, esp if im dressing up as femme as i like being at the time.
so, if these people shouting "non-men loving non-men" at those like me all the time ended up seeing me irl, what would they think? would they see im extremely femme and read as a girl while holding hands with my girlfriend (who isnt femme but still is easily read as a girl) and think oh yeah, thats a lesbian right there? because a huge part of me says that they absolutely would have no issue with it
who knows if anyone who swears up and down by the "non-men loving non-men" definition will actually read this, but i REALLY wish more people would actually hear out multigender folks and see how definitions like this are incompatible with us. think about how our identity doesnt exist in a vacuum. realize that plenty of us ARE lesbians no matter what anyone else says, and we do not abide to your """inclusive""" definition that actually doesnt consider our existence at all.
or at least realize identity labels dont have a one-size-fits-all definition in the vastness of queer experiences, that people are going to have definitions for things that are different from yours, and you dont hold the One True Right Definition. realize that definitions are not rules that are placed upon words, theyre explanations for how these words are being used across the world, through time, and vary from person, place, and time. definitions are fluid, not static, and many words have multiple definitions.

it is genuinely fucking hilarious how "transmisogyny-ratio-reader" is a geninely good source of inclusive blogs to follow because all she does is comment her hypocritical "gotchas" about "trans unity: failed" on posts where people, including fellow trans women, are talking about how trans men, nonbinary folk, and intersex folk are not some mythical Evil Enemy.
Like, legitimately, I scroll through that blog and there's so many people I've already been following getting what this person views as "dunked on", where she insults people, misgenders people she doesn't like or know the pronouns of via "theyfab" per her tags on my post about
"they really are afraid of the tfem boogeyman I mean they"
which is hilarious because 1) my pronouns are indeed they/them but they're not listed on my bio so she assumed this
and 2) do you think she also puts this tag on any one who's profile doesn't include pronouns including the multiple trans women she's targeting and literally just goes around misgendering people as an insult and somehow thinks this is gonna get people to think she's anything except a random radical feminist?
It really is amusing to see a blog like this that claims to be about fighting transmisogyny and half the time she seems to be attacking other trans women for what she thinks is the crime of caring about other people.
#transmisogyny-ratio-reader#exorsexism#transandrophobia#intersexism#free blocklist#and also free follow list for all the blogs she targets! Seriously shes just going after anyone in the above trans tags#theres so many people she's targeted who are intersex activists or fellow trans women or just trans men speaking about their experiences

I'm up for doing some free readings tonight and into the week! With some Options available to you, should you want them! You may request multiple over the course of the week!
As always, read my rules and everything.
You can of course take the usual. Send a question, maybe pick a deck or tool (optional, if you don't say one I pick!), get an answer.
However, for the upcoming week (until April 7th, unless I decide to extend it) I'm also offering the following: (Note: Some of these do in fact break my 5 cards for free rule! They're free for now though! Because I say so and it's my blog.) (Also note: Some of these are always offered for free, so check here for that.)
DND Dice: See here for more information on the options... or just ask for one and I'll pick one at literal random.
Astrology Dice: A general reading using astrology dice.
10-charm Charm Reading: (Technically 14 thanks to the significator charms, but...) A general reading, again.
5 Card G-Witch: A general reading, no real questions are asked. However, I do need to know whether you want the masculine significator or feminine significator. There's no neutral significator, sadly [ weeps in nonbinary ]
Encouragement Salad: A method where I use all of my encouragement decks (Enchanted Blossoms, Botanical Inspirations, You Are Amazing! affirmations deck, Creative Consciousness Healing, and my hanafuda deck, one card each) to provide either general encouragement or encouragement on a specific issue you state in your ask.
Half-Finished SOTW + Friend: I don't own every Seasons of the Witch deck, but this is a prototype of a future reading that would use all of them + Witching Hour Oracle! This reading is intended to provide guidance for your spiritual journey and what you should take as a next step. You may ask a question, but it may not get answered.
Pokemon Team: A reading where I pick one of my Pokemon decks and pull a "team" of six cards to receive a general reading.
Yu-Gi-Oh Battle: A reading where I pick a Yu-Gi-Oh deck, and pull six cards (six to be equal with the Pokemon team) to receive a general reading.
When should...: A simple divination of when something should happen by. I have a deck, Time Will Tell, that will be used for this. (Please... they deserve love...) As with all my divination, I provide a disclaimer of I don't believe in hardcoded fate.
And finally, The Beltane Maypole Strings: One card from 16 decks, all themed appropriately to Beltane, by being a nature themed deck! This is also a general reading. THIS IS A LIMITED SLOT OPTION. I'm not dooming myself to 50 of these by not making it a limited slot option. The full list of decks is SOTW: Beltane, Under the Oak Tarot, Hanafuda cards, Botanical Inspirations Oracle, Tree Keepers Oracle, Prism Oracle, Oracle of Pluto, Earth and Bone Oracle, Seed and Sickle Oracle, Magickal Botanical Oracle, Enchanted Blossoms Oracle, Mushroom Spirit Oracle, Herbal Astrology Oracle, Green Witch Oracle (the one by Cheralyn Darcey), Wild Mystic Oracle, and Urban Crow Oracle. SLOTS TAKEN: 2/15 (remember to check the parent post by going directly to the post to see if this updates because reblogs don't update!)
Paid readings are still temporarily closed as I update my shop. Thank you all for your patience.

Sexiest Podcast Character — Unscripted Bracket — Round 5
Propaganda
Gable (Campaign: Skyjacks):
7ft tall silver-haired thembo of a fallen angel. was the literal sword of god until they killed him! reasons slightly unclear but probably sure to forbidden queer love! super caring for their friends. has one friend they have known for hundreds of years who they HATE but are bound to by the red string of fate. their sword is a part of them, they can sheathe it into a tattoo. they start out indistinct at the edges but as they have continued on through the campaign they have become more and more distinct. they became a flaming engine of justice to kill their friends shitheaded older brother who was following him. they have learned enough necromancy to allow other fallen angels to die, even though they typically cannot. they fly giant birds in to battle.
7ft tall beefcake wielding a sword as tall as they are. vengeful sweetheart
Imagine now: a fallen angel with beautiful gray hair and very big muscles. Now imagine them with a 9 ft sword. Now imagine them as a helmsperson of a pirate ship in a flowy deep-v pirate shirt. Now imagine they're dumb as a fucking rock. And finally, imagine that they killed god. Here, you have made Gable Skyjacks: sexiest podcast character of all time.
7ft tall nonbinary/genderfluid thembo fallen angel sky pirate who wields a buster sword. silvergrey hair with black/gold streaks as they regain feathers/memories of before their fall. back is covered in tattoos that hide the scars of their shredded off wings. killed God. toxic exes with lucifer. they are the keeper of several giant war birds who occasionally crave human flesh. they enjoy getting rowdy/smoking rope with their boys. they collect rocks that they think are neat. When anyone admits they are attracted to them, Gable trips over their words and absolutely swaglessly ends up sounding stupider and sexier by the end of the conversation; the will they/won't they and teasing they dish out to these (un?)lucky few is palpable. Sometimes the buster sword is on fire. They are immortal, they are cringe, they are trying to atone because they believe they are the reason the world is ruined.
Okay so aside from all of the above (giant with a matching giant flaming sword, killed god, extreme dumbass), here's some more propaganda for Gable the Godkiller.
They've escaped death multiple times with their partner in... crime? Like literally they were about to be executed in the most brutal way possible and just. Escaped and killed all their captors in the snowy wastelands.
They are the helmsperson of the Uhuru and take this job very seriously and definitely haven't left it to Bowser (you know, like from Mario) multiple times. Can steer that flying ship in horrible weather and still make it to port safely.
Healed an entire fucking hospital by cutting their hair for someone they had the hots for who was also in the hospital. Imagine being on that level of myth making in some random port city because of a hair cut.
Giant bird caretaker and also took the giant birds out on their friend's bachelor party (this was like. his Xth polyamorous marriage at this point btw) and had a fucking blast getting high on some rope and fucking around. They've also flown these birds into combat and looked cool as hell doing it (see: killing their friend's shithead of an older brother in a joust).
Had a relationship with Lucifer the Morning Star before they fell as an angel and killed God. Literally the reason the stars fell was their love for each other. The world would not look the same without Gable and they are, at the very least indirectly responsible for the creation of the Church of the Slain God and everything it represents (fantasy Catholicism).
And also yeah they are regularly tripping over themself and saying very silly things. 10/10 character we love Liz Anderson and Gable in this house
I am seeing people say that this Nicky fellow is basically trans! That's very cool! Gable is actually trans. Pronouns they/them/any presentation whatever they feel like.
Gable held a bachelor party for a BFF where the attendees hunted from their sky birds, wore dresses, and still managed to keep their eyeliner on point!
Gable killed God because he wouldn't let them be queer. They should rightfully crush anyone in their path.
We are finally going up against a character I know. I can confidently say all sexy moments with Gable are much sexier than TAZ's largely off-screen romances. Mod Note: This was written during the poll versus Killian Fangbattle.
Nicky Close (Dungeons & Daddies):
One armed half-demon man with a sword (also a Dedicated, Involved, Loving Father). (Specifically campaign 2, where he is an adult)
Transmasc bisexual (or at least so widely accepted as such it's basically canon) dilf half-demon let's start with the basics
And by half-demon I mean the literal prince of Hell
But also simultaneously is Saint Nicolas get you a man who can do both specifically this man
Missing an arm cause his ex-friends tragically betrayed him and shot it off but he doesn't need two arms to show you a good time wink wink ;)
The betrayal in question forced him to be seperated from his also hot milf voice actress wife and their son which is sad but in like a way that makes him sexier
Uses his one hand to wield a flaming katana that he used to rescue his son from the FBI
Protects his family with his life very literally which is hot as hell
Big himbo energy couldn't come up with a good plan if he used 100% of his brain
When he does fail at things it's pretty cute honestly
Definitely played a variety of musical instruments before the whole arm thing happened! Maybe he still does idk he's a sexy mystery
2 in 1 deal! This man was born from the merging of two timelines! Kinda sick!!! Also two dads = twice the daddy issues
You'd think the whole being forcibly split from his family thing would mean he isn't very close with his son but nope! His son adores him! They get along great!!!
His mom is simultaneously alive and dead
His mom bagged fucking two different dudes (one of whom FOUND HER DEAD in a different timeline, both of which are demons)
HIS MOMS NAME IS MORGAN FREEMAN, HIS DAD’S NAME IS GLENN CLOSE, AND HIS OTHER DAD’S NAME IS JODIE FOSTER, AND HIS GREAT SOMETHING GRANDFATHER’S NAME IS MERYL STREEP
HIS SONS NAME IS TAYLOR SWIFT
Lifelong pot smoker 👍 (plus drug flower user!!)
CANONICALLY BOTH A POLO WEARER (and yes, has all the stereotypes of that attached with it — a nerd, which is hot) AND A LEATHER JACKET WEARER (which also has all the stereotypes attached with it — a rebel dude person, which is also hot) [<- all widely accepted as canon by the fandom even as he’s older]
A part of the SECOND BIGGEST ship of season two, (Nark) despite the two characters only having one-two canon interactions (one of which JUST happened last episode)
Man’s a himbo what’s hotter than that
So many fucking names. You try to tag him in anything and he takes up half the space. That’s probably hot. For someone out there
This was already mentioned but so very very trans. Like. It’s basically canon
Rock and roll(er)
Joined a group of thieves called the watermice when he was like 13
for a few minutes had a guitar called the Battle Axe of Hatred
definitely had an frienimies with benefits relationship with his childhood friend Lark (sorry ppl that don’t ship nark lol) (it’s canon after ep 44 hah)
I feel like the audio of the entire Nick-breaking-into-the-FBI scene should be propaganda, but I'm copying select bits from the transcript:
Anthony: Yeah, it kind of echoes up through the vent, like the beginning of Metal Gear Solid. You hear a voice that strikes you as ever so slightly familiar, Taylor. Saying— ??: [a deep voice] [echoing in the vent] Where is he? Anthony: You hear— Will: Uh-oh, he’s hot. Anthony: —a bunch of shouting voices. [giggles] Beth: Uh-oh! Anthony: You hear a bunch of shouting voices and people shouting for him to get down on the ground to turn off his flame. To fucking get his hands behind his back. You hear this rhythmic stepping forward— because his footsteps don't sound like anybody else's because it's almost like… y’know when you toss a little bit of water onto a really hot pan and it just sizzles like that? It's like every footstep he's taking, you can hear that— Freddie: Cool Anthony: — and you can feel some of that heat coming up in this vent, even though you can't see him at this point. And he goes— ??: [echoing] Where. Is. My. Boy? Anthony: You hear the FBI agent—the FBI in quotation marks agent—in the back going like— Agent: [echoing] He's safe for now. If you want to go ahead and make sure that he stays that way, you feel free to go ahead and step inside the suite that we've prepared for you, my boy. Anthony: And you hear the hot guy voice saying— [chuckles] The Hot Guy: [echoing] I don't think that's going to happen.
...
[a powerful rush of air builds] Anthony: You hear— [gunfire, and the air rush culminates in a burst of flame; from underneath the fire, metal music starts playing] Anthony: —plumes of flame exploding. [a person’s pained shout, gunfire and bursts of flame continue] Anthony: You can feel the heat radiating through this metal vent and it's actually beginning to hurt and burn your hands.
...
Anthony: And you hear blood— [sizzling] Anthony: —hitting the fucking ground and you hear sizzling and things boiling and burning. Taylor: That could just be coffee! That could just be coffee. Link, let's go. Anthony: And you are getting closer and closer to the elevator. And you hear that same hot voice say— The Hot Guy: [echoing] Where the hell is Taylor?
Gable and Nicky Together:
We are on a joint ticket now! This is a truly unbeatable combo. Not even god can nerf it because Gable killed him. Vote for us. Nicky Close will watch your stuff and play with your cats while Gable gives you the night of your life.
Gable and Nicky can literally be yuor angle or ur bevil.
Kravitz (The Adventure Zone: Balance):
Grim Reaper. So hot he managed to date Taako from TV
gotta be krav
Art of Gable and Nicky from @slightlyhopefulromantic.
