"Like I was saying, sweet cheeks, a night with us and you'll forget that pansy that tries to get you off at night." One of the three men slurred, his glass mug slamming against the counter with a loud thud, enough to have the bartender let out an irritated sigh.
He turned around to tell the noisy, old, but filthy rich, patrons to keep it down, though the words caught up in his throat as soon as his eyes landed on the slender, doe eyed beauty in black- their prey of the night. The bartender had never seen her before, frankly he didn't even remember her order anything, due to which he noticed that she sat there empty handed- who was she? The sleeveless silk that hugged her form was darker than the heart of Lucifer himself, perhaps he stitched it for her too, with his bare hands, making sure to accentuate the ample cleavage that squeezed against the dress, and that sinful slit, large enough to reach her hip- a harlot? Perhaps that is why she was not ordering anything, waiting for the right client-
"Aww~" her crimson lips curled into a feline like grin, turning to face the man, her chin in palm, the elongated nails, redder than blood, tapping against the wood, "But I really like that pansy", she whispered, tilted her head with a pout, "Even if he's a no good, lying bastard."
"But darlin', boys like that can't treat ya right,'' one of them moved to squeeze in behind her and an empty barstool , eying her bare back, a tattoo between her shoulder blades, "What's this, hmm?" He asked, reaching to trace his fingers over the ink, to feel that smooth skin, itching to ruin her.
"Don't touch that." She hummed, feeling him pause a breath away from her, eyeing the to men before her as she sighed, "You know....all you men are the same," her finger began to trace something against the wood, a specific name, "Will do anything to have your way~ beg, cry, lick and get on your knees..." Turning on her stool she faced the bartender, catching him mid-stare before gesturing towards a beverage behind him, her palms now flat against the wood, "Then once you're full, you go around humping the world like a rabid mutt."
She didn't bother looking at any other man when shiny glass was placed in front of her, admiring the cherry floating in the drink. Paying attention to men had never been her strong suit, especially ones that smelled as old and filthy as them, she had her own garden of Eden, sure, she was not talking to him right now, but that didn't mean she would go around plucking someone else's apples, when her sweet, soft, warm little pretty kitty-
Hissing through her teeth she glanced at the meaty hand cupping her chest, almost about to turn and claw off his face, when she felt another hand on that one place she SPECIFICALLY asked them to not touch- the ink.
"We're done playing nice, slu-" his words were cut short by an ear piercing cry, the man stumbled back, staring at his dismembered arms, or whatever was left of them, slipping off on his own blood. The other two jerked into action, drawing their guns, aiming at the man who was now on the bar stool beside her.
With a huff he peeled away the arm off her chest, tossing the cleanly sliced limb across the bar, glancing at the one that lay at his foot, ignoring the way the man on the ground was still screaming like a maniac. He was too busy to deal with any of these assholes right now, he had to cleanse her of their stench, wipe their mortal essence off her, and make it up to her.
Turning her on the stool he made her face the two armed men, who were still aiming at them, her smile causing their blood to freeze.  With deft fingers he traced the skin down her shoulders to her bare back, moving closer to press his lips against the ink, his three favorite alphabets, a faint purr emitting from the back of his throat as his fingers gripped her waist.
A pleased sigh broke past her lips, eyes closing at the feeling of him on her, leaning back against his chest, humming when he hooked his chin on her shoulder, eying the two men, taking note of the third who lay limp on the floor somewhere, a smirk gracing his face.
"You w-wench!" The bald man screeched, aiming for her forehead, the tremor of his hand evident enough to have the man holding onto her chuckle.
"Where else did they touch you...my Liege?" He whispered in her ear, earning a giggle that had his purring increase in volume, vibrating through his chest.
"Naughty kitty, don't act like you don't know~" Turning her head to him, she smiled, already feeling his hands on her, taking in his side profile, his angular face, his sharp eyes that bore into the men before them, "I'm bored, Sannie~" she whispered, true to the bone, mortal men were just never her favorite treat- perhaps even in her days of youth, days of weakness, days filled with loneliness, she did not turn to any mere filthy, mortal man; especially ever since she had one limping onto her doorstep, all by himself, one cold, dark rainy night.
Drenched to the bone, falling to her feet, bloody and bruised, gripping her ankles as he shook due to the cold,or perhaps it was the blood loss or...fear; blood trickling down his sharp chin as he peered up at her with a murderous gaze, with a vengeful intent, whimpering and whispering for help- oh, how she was glad that a treat so pretty and youthful, so big and bold, so sinister and sinful had crawled to her, ready to be all hers; body, mind and soul. Ever so ready as he recited after her, signing with his blood, letting her rip out his fruity pound of flesh, beating in her palm, warm and tender, a delicious treat indeed, watching her devour it like an animal, licking his blood off her fingers- the once feared warlord, soon to be her little lap cat.
"Bring me their heads, pretty kitty." She whispered against his chin, trailing her lips  over to his cheek, smiling at the smeared lipstick before pulling away and stretching, "Make haste." Her voice echoed as the men before them gripped their weapons, ready to kill, only to feel cold sweat trickle down their spines at the sight of the glowing feline eyes, the crimson matching her lipstick.
"Yes, my Liege."
.
"A-agh...f*ck." He hissed at the burn, blinking at the dimly lit room- oh no. His breath hitched at the sudden realization causing him to tug at the rattling chains, only to have the freezing metal tighten against his limbs, pulling higher, digging into his skin. Head tilting up to spot the moon, staring down at him, watching him for her. His skin tingles at the chill in the air, the snow carpeting the ground around him, a pearly white ever so calm, ever so cold, creeping up his nerves, slicing his skin with the layer of ice that armored on top of the metallic chains- taking a deep breath, his fingers gripped the chains, trying to pull on them, trying to free himself, only to whimper at the sudden sharp sting that coursed through his arms.
Head falling limp, he stared at the ground, watching his breath materialize before closing his eyes in guilt, he knew this would happen, he knew he wouldn't be forgiven so easily- she loved him dearly, she reminded him of that every night, but she also reminded him of her ownership over him, he was her lover, he was her muse, he was the foolish vengeful warlord who was now her lap cat.
The clicking of her heels echoed across the corridors, the crimson marabou robe caressing the marble floor as she walked to her pet's 'punishment room', one she'd have to use often in the earlier days, when his masculinity would come to life, the inner misogyny would resurface, forcing her to remind him of his worth, of who was in charge. The thin material left little to the imagination, not that he needed to imagine something he was given full access to, sighing to herself she pulled on the robes, huffing at the sudden drop of temperature, as she entered the roofless cellar, closing the door behind her.
"Look at me."
He bit his lip at the boom of her voice, meekly glancing up to meet her furious gaze, the disappointed look she wore had him almost crying and struggling, having him crawl towards her once more, just so he could beg for her forgiveness, beg for her love, for her touch.
"You've been a bad kitty..." she whispered, holding her arms behind her back, eying the way his eyes had widened, taking in her form, licking his lips, walking closer to him, before she stopped, casting her eyes down to something he had not noticed before- oh.
"Four little ugly heads....do you think," the toebox of her crystal stiletto collided with a dismembered head, kicking it across the room, pouting at the grunt he let out once it collided with his chest, "This is enough of an, " Followed by the other one, "Apology?"  the third one landed right at the center of his chest, the cold blood now dripping down his bare skin, cascading down his body and onto the snow, "You ungrateful filth!" The last head flew past his head, between his dangling extended arms, almost like a ball through a goal, colliding with the bricked wall behind him, the loud crack was enough to have him bowing his head in shame.
"N-no, my Liege, but Advisor Park had asked for y-your presence, and I am your r-representative, I had to be there-"
"F*CK SEONGHWA!"
He flinched at her tone, breath hitching when she moved closer, the scrape of her heels against the snow led to an eerie feeling setting in, his superhuman abilities both a curse and her blessing. A whimper escaped him when he felt her nails dig into his face, gripping his cheeks, "You're mine, you bastard, I am your master, I am your savior, I am your reason for living." She hissed, taking in the fear that swirled in his crimson orbs, once that were as dark as the moonless sky. Her grip loosened to a light hold, her thumb caressing his cheek as she pouted at him,"I am your everything, Sannie," she whispered, watching how his lip quivered, eyes watering as he looked up at her, before letting him go and moving away.
His head quickly turned to her straining his neck, watching her circle him, until she was out of sight, "And when I say," suddenly she was so close, her warm chest pressing against his cold bare skin, the translucent mesh of her robes rubbing against his skin, burning as she slid down to her knees behind him, her hand snaked around him, palm sliding up his blood stained skin, laying flat across his skin, amused at the lack of beating from underneath- the memories of his tender flesh tingling through her being.
"I crave blood," she whispered, her other hand trailing up his spine, lips pressing against the expanse of his broad back, as her fingers began to trace the ink between his shoulder blades, her name, her sign, her seal- her ownership, "You come and quench my thirst." Her fingers on his chest curling inwards, till her nails began to tear open the skin, rebirthing her faded marks, made the day she had ripped open his chest to claim his core, “Understood?” She mumbled against his skin, tasting the sweat that had begun to accumulate, humming as she pushed her fingers in his flesh, squeezing them through the muscle, sighing when she heard him scream in agony.
“Aw, is my kitty in pain?” she feigned, hooking her chin over his shoulder, her eyes widened with glee at the sight of her blood stained hand, oozing out of the man who was wailing in pure agony, admiring how she was knuckle deep within his flesh, fingers slithering around the blood and mass, looking for what no longer existed within him, enjoying the way he struggled against the restraints, knees scraping against the stoned floor, trying to escape her clutches.
“What’s wrong my warlord…Emperor of Sin- ah…what else, did they call you?” she asked, reaching over with her free hand, gripping cheeks as she turned him to face her, catching the way his eyes clenched in pain, biting his lower lip hard enough to bleed, “Tamer of…women- oh no…whores…you preferred whores didn’t you?” she whispered before leaning closer, pressing her tinted red lips against his forehead, “yet, here you are, having given your heart to one of the whores your people…your men burnt for fun, one of the many whores your kind beheaded.”
Smiling at him, she pressed her cheek against his clammy one, “Remember who you belong to,” the faint whisper rang in his ears before he felt her fingers pierce in further, enough for him to give up, no longer able to put up with her little game as he howled in sheer agony, using the his least favorite way out- though it was her most favorite,
“Mercy! I beg- I beg for your mercy , my Liege.”
He struggled against his restraints, trying to push her off him, knowing fully well that she was not only wrapped around him physically, but she was wrapped around his whole being, “I beg for your mercy! I beg for your forgiveness! I beg for your love! M-,” his head fell back against her chest, looking up at her twinkling crimson eyes, staring up at her, out of breath, but oh so in love, in so much need, blinking slowly, before he closed his eyes and whispered, “Mercy, my Liege.”
His eyes snapped open at the sudden warmth and softness that spread behind his bare back, blinking up at the ceiling, the familiar scent of hers enveloping his senses as he took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down, his hands now free, gripping and twisting the sheets beneath him, all form of pain now gone, as if none of that had ever happened. Closing his eyes in relief he sighed, trying to absorb the tranquil atmosphere, the popping and crackling of the fire wood, the gentle breeze tapping against the window, the distant, faint whispering of the staff around the mansion, and the gentle, soft breathing coming from beside him. Turning his head to the side, he blinked at her sleeping form, eyes trailing from her face to her body wrapped in lavender silk, the strap slipping off her shoulder, giving him a show, as if inviting him to touch her, to feel her- though he was still a bit too shaken by his dream, unsure if any of that was even real.
“What’s wrong, Sannie?”
His eyes snapped up to her face, meeting her curious gaze, the small smile that graced her innocent face, leading him to sigh in relief, shaking his head before he scooted closer, wrapping a muscular arm around her, as he pulled her closer, burying his face in her tender chest, kissing the skin before mumbling, “Nothing…my Liege…I just…missed you.” His arm tightened around her waist when he felt her move her leg up his side, hooking it over his waist, causing him to purr in delight, a hand at the back of his head carding through his hair before she placed her chin on top of his head, “Aww…have no fear, pretty kitty…I’m right here.” His purrs began to crescendo, nuzzling against her, basking in all her warmth, all her care, all her attention, all her love, as he whimpered, “Th-thank you… thank you for all you have bestowed upon me, thank you.”
“There’s no need to thank me” her sweet voice rang through his ears, humming when he felt her pull him closer, enough for her to smother him with her being, not that he had any issues, “I only live to please my pretty kitty…my kitty whom I dearly…love.” she whispered, staring into the crackling fire, as she felt his hand on her waist, slide down her leg, caressing the bare skin before his fingers trailed up her dress, earning a sigh from her as he flipped her over, before sitting above her, knees digging into the mattress on either side of her form as he stared down at her, his face flushing at the intoxicating beauty that stared up at him, doe eyed and curious, innocent and pure, much like the many he had ruined centuries ago, in his prime. His hands twitched at his sides, watching her every move, eyes flickering to the pellucid gown, drinking in her form before he heard her giggle, eyes flicked up to her face;  he let out a small gasp, watching her lick the crimson off her fingertips, the droplets splattering across her neck, cascading down to her chest, humming in delight as she looked at him, pressing a blood stained finger against his small pout, nodding at him to have a little taste, as if she were sharing a candy- she could not be blamed though, she had mentioned before, how he tasted divine. A sigh escaped her when he followed her instructions, like a good, little kitty- a well trained kitty, a well loved, kitty.
“After all…I only show mercy to those whom I love.”

Them reacting to reader using their vision in weird ways
Characters: Ayaka / Furina x gn!reader (separate)
warnings: none
a/n: When I updated my masterlist yesterday, I noticed that I hadn’t written for Ayaka in a long time, so I decided to use my 3 brain cells and think of something to write for her. Why is Furina here as well? Easy, since I love her and want to dig myself into an even deeper hole for when it inevitably turns out I got her whole personality wrong once Fontaine comes out in a few days.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Ayaka
Crossing paths with you while walking around the Kamisato Estate was as common as seeing a bird fly over the horizon. You were everywhere, from filling out paperwork in the garden, running errands for her brother or sneaking off to pet whatever pet you had laid eyes on to rushing past everyone to fetch Thoma before he could waste more of his time trying to fulfill one of Ayato’s impossible assignments. And although you seemed to be in a hurry most of the time, you always made sure to stop and chat with Ayaka whenever she passed you.
Your conversations were brief, but that didn’t mean that the young Kamisato didn’t appreciate them, making sure to keep an eye out for you whenever she could, so when she finally spotted you while talking to another resident of the estate, her eyes immediately began following you, not wanting to lose track of you before she had the opportunity to at least greet you. Something that had to wait until her current conversation was over.
Your face was as red as it could be, not that she held it against you. It was a scorching hot day and Ayaka was lucky enough to have her fan with her whenever she felt it became too unbearable. You however, having both of your hands full with paperwork you were presumably carrying to her brother’s office, weren’t so lucky. But just as she thought about offering you her fan, you carefully put your chin on top of the papers, pressing them between it and your right hand before quickly grabbing your anemo vision with the other and creating a wind as an impromptu fan.
“Miss Kamisato?”, her conversation partner called out her name in a worried manner, probably noticing her space out when she failed to answer a question, causing Ayaka to snap back to reality as a small blush formed on her cheeks, quickly apologizing. Luckily, the other person didn’t seem to care too much, asking the question again.
“So, about your order…” However, their voice quickly faded into the background as her attention once again shifted towards you, your previous stunt seemingly having caused a few papers to fall to the ground, leading to you silently staring at them, probably thinking about what to do next.
Instead of bending down and picking them up however, you once again used your vision to create a breeze that caused them to fly just high enough for you to catch them without having to move an extra muscle, smiling to yourself as you put them back on top of the other papers before your gaze met hers.
Before Ayaka knew it, you were waving and smiling at her, your vision still in hand , and before she managed to stop herself, she was waving back, only to be dragged back to the present once again when she saw her conversation partners confused look, causing her face to grow even redder than last time, especially when she heard a snicker escape your mouth.
Tumblr media
Furina
Furina had hoped for a million different things to spice these mind bogglingly boring days up, a sudden mysterious criminal causing chaos while evading police and setting off an intriguing investigation, a comet filled with alien lifeforms crashing into the surrounding area, a judge pronouncing a word embarrassingly wrong… ANYTHING.
So when she noticed a person throwing their pyro vision into a pot of water to heat it, she couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle, continuing to watch them with rising interest as it became increasingly clear the water had gotten too hot for the vision to be fished out, her smile only growing larger with each bubble that rose to the water's surface.
“You need something or are you just here to watch and smile?”, you eventually asked as you turned your head towards her, your face portraying a miffed expression, one bringing her even more amusement. Meeting a stand owner that was accidentally more entertaining than most shows she visited in the last couple of weeks wasn’t exactly on her bingo sheet for that day, but she definitely wasn’t complaining.
“No, I’m just watching”, she stated, not even attempting to hide her amusement. Only for you to look back down at the pot with an increasingly worried expression.
“You got a cryo vision or something that I could throw in to cool it?”
Your question earned you nothing but a deadpan expression, only for the silence between the two of you to suddenly cause it to shatter within an instance, Furina breaking out in laughter as it became increasingly clear that you were being serious, eventually ending up in her having to wipe away her tears, stopping her laugh several times to look at you with a face nearly begging you to say you were joking before continuing even more uncontrollably.
“If you intend on continuing to laugh instead of helping, then please go away”, you eventually stated, your face withholding any emotions as you stared at her, only for her to finally calm down enough to speak.
“Just pour out the water”, she managed to say between her laughs, causing you to shake your head.
“Great, and where do I quickly get new water from then?”, you asked sarcastically.
“Hello? You’re talking to the Hydro Archon here, water should be the least of your concerns”, she wheezed. Only to immediately stop when she heard a laugh coming from you, her expression darkening as it was your turn to laugh at her.
“Yeah right, good one. Let me help you find your parents, I’m sure they must start to get worried about you”, you laughed and laughed until you buckled over holding your stomach, not able to stop for even a second.
It took Furina all of her willpower not to take the boiling pot and pour it over you, the only thing stopping her being the knowledge that doing so would rob her of one of the few entertaining people in her country.

The wing man — Max Verstappen x Leo McTavish ft Carlos Sainz
Fluff and some smut it’s short smut at the end not much it’s more teasing than actual smut
Word count 7k
Mentions — Maxiel,Lestappen, McSainz (Carlos and Leo) and smut at the end
Tagged — @the-ghost-lovwr @toasttt11 @redcrescentmoons @allphatauri
Carlos was a man on a mission. Now that he knew about his friend's crush, he was determined to play the role of wing man and set Leo up on a date with the mystery man. He didn't know who it was, but he was going to do whatever it took to figure it out.
Over the next few weeks, Carlos began to observe Leo intently, trying to pick up on any little clue that might give away the identity of his crush.
He paid close attention to the way Leo interacted with other drivers on the grid, noting any signs of increased nervousness or excitement. But Leo was good at keeping his cards close to his chest, and Carlos found it damn near impossible to figure out who his friend was crushing on.
One day, as they were sitting in the driver's lounge, Carlos decided to play his trump card. "Hey, Leo," he said, feigning casualness. "What do you think about Max Verstappen?" Leo looked up from his phone, a flicker of surprise crossing his face before he quickly masked it. "Why do you ask?" he said, trying to sound nonchalant.
Carlos shrugged, pretending not to notice his friend's reaction. "Oh, just curious. He's a talented guy, yeah? I mean, he's been winning races left and right lately." Leo nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, he's definitely talented. And he's got a lot of potential."
Carlos mentally fist pumped as he saw the corner of Leo's mouth twitch. Could this be the clue he was looking for? Was Max Verstappen the mystery crush?
He decided to push his luck a bit further, wanting to see if he could get another reaction out of his friend. "You know, he's single, too," he said, hoping to provoke a response.
Leo's expression froze for a fraction of a second before he regained his composure. "Is he?" he said, trying to sound disinterested. "I didn't know that."
Carlos raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Leo's reaction. "Yep. He broke up with his girlfriend a few months ago, I hear. So he's back on the market, if you're interested."
Leo's cheeks went slightly pink at the suggestion, but he tried to downplay it. "Oh, um, I didn't know that," he said, fidgeting with his phone. "But I'm not really looking to date anyone right now, anyway."
Carlos suppressed a smirk at the obvious lie. He knew his friend well enough to know that he was definitely interested in someone. And all signs pointed to Max Verstappen. Now he just had to find a way to get them together.
“I didn’t say anything about you dating Max, Leo” Carlos stated. "What? I thought... I mean, you just said..." Leo stammered, blushing furiously. He was surprised at the direction this conversation had taken. Carlos chuckled at his friend's flustered reaction, enjoying seeing him squirm. "Relax, man. I was just busting your balls. I wasn't actually suggesting you date Max. I mean, unless you want to..."
Leo's face turned even redder at the implication. "What? No, no, I don't... I don't want to date Max." he said quickly, a bit too quickly. Carlos arched an eyebrow at his friend's swift denial, a small smirk appearing on his lips.
"Are you sure about that, mate?" he teased. "You seem awfully flustered for someone who's not interested in the idea." Carlos says, teasing the Scotsman. "Come on, man. You can't fool me. I've seen the way you look at him when he's around. You're smitten, admit it."
Leo protested weakly, flailing his arms in denial. "What? No, I don't... I'm not-" he stuttered, but Carlos cut him off with a knowing chuckle.
"Save it, mate. I know you better than that. You've had a thing for Max for Ages, haven't you? Don't even try to deny it." Leo groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Okay, fine. You win. I have a bit of a crush on Max, alright? Happy now?" he said, his voice muffled by his palms.
Carlos chuckled, pleased that he had finally gotten Leo to admit it. "See? Was that so hard?" he said, grinning smugly. Leo shot him a dirty look. "You're enjoying this way too much, you know that?" he said, a hint of irritation in his voice.
“I’m your best friend. I'm supposed to enjoy this Leo” Carlos says. Leo rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but smile at Carlos's playful tone. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But do you have to torture me so much?"
"It's my job, mate," Carlos said, grinning. "As your best friend, it's my duty to give you a hard time. And right now, that involves teasing you mercilessly about your crush on Verstappen."
Leo groaned again, leaning back in his chair. "Why did I ever tell you anything?" he said, but there was no real annoyance in his voice. "Because you love me," Carlos said with a smirk. "And because you have terrible taste in men, apparently."
Leo narrowed his eyes on his friend. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with having a thing for Max. He's attractive, talented, and competitive. What's not to like?"
Carlos let out a snort. "Except for the fact that he's stubborn, cocky, and arrogant. I mean, have you seen him on the track? He's like a human wrecking ball out there." "Hey, that's just part of his appeal," Leo said, sounding somewhat defensive. "He's a fighter, and he never backs down from a challenge. That's admirable, don't you think?"
Carlos rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, admirable. Whatever you say. But don't come crying to me when he breaks your heart, okay? I warned you he's a hothead." Leo playfully smacked his friend's arm. "Oh, shut up. You're just jealous because you don't have a love life of your own."
Carlos pretended to be offended. "Hey now, that’s low. I'll have you know I have plenty of admirers, thank you very much." "Sure you do," Leo said sarcastically. "I bet they're lined up outside your hotel room every night."
"You'd be surprised, mate, I’m a passionate lover remember" Carlos said, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively "But we're not talking about me right now. We're talking about your hopeless crush on Verstappen."
"It's not hopeless," Leo protested weakly. "I just... haven't had the guts to do anything about it yet. But I will. Eventually."
"Right," Carlos said skeptically. "And how long do you plan on sitting on those feelings before you make a move? Because if you wait too long, someone else might swoop in and steal him out from under you."
"Oh, I don't know," Carlos said, pretending to think. "Maybe Charles Leclerc? Or Daniel Ricciardo ? Or any of the dozens of other drivers who drool over him every time he wins a race?"
Leo's heart sank even further. "Okay, okay, I get it," he said, holding up a hand in defeat. "There are plenty of people who could potentially try to make a move on Max. But that doesn't mean I have to give up without even trying."
"Who said anything about giving up?" Carlos said, his eyes glinting with mischief. "In fact, I think I might have a solution to your little predicament."
Leo looked at him warily. "What kind of solution are we talking about here?" Carlos leaned forward, his grin widening. "You know how we're hosting that big party back at our place tomorrow night? Well, I just so happen to know that Max will be attending. And I've got an idea on how we can make sure you two end up spending some time together."
Leo's stomach twisted at the thought of seeing Max in a casual setting, surrounded by other people. But at the same time, he couldn't deny the thrill of excitement that coursed through him at the prospect. "Are you suggesting... that we play matchmaker at our own party?"
Carlos chuckled, clearly enjoying this. "That's exactly what I'm suggesting. We'll make sure you two end up alone together at some point in the night, and then let nature take its course."
Leo's mind swirled with a mix of nervousness and excitement. Spending time alone with Max was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time. "I don't know..." he said hesitantly. "Won't it be obvious what we're doing? Max will definitely realize we're up to something."
Carlos scoffed. "Who do you think I am, mate? Of course it won't be obvious. We'll be sneaky about it. Max won't suspect a thing, I promise."
Leo took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He knew this was a huge risk, but if there was even the slightest chance of getting closer to Max, he had to take it. "Alright," he said, a hint of determination in his voice. "I'll trust you. But if this blows up in our faces, I'm blaming you."
Carlos clapped him on the back, grinning broadly. "Don't worry, mate. I've got this all under control. You just focus on looking your best and being charming as hell tomorrow night."
"Thanks, I feel so reassured now," Leo said sarcastically. "But seriously, Carlos. What if Max isn't interested in me? What if he's not even into guys? Have you thought about that?"
"First of all, Max is definitely into guys. I've seen the way he looks at you when you're not paying attention," Carlos said. "And second of all, there's only one way to find out if he's interested in you. And that's by giving it a shot."
Leo sighed, knowing that Carlos was right. "I suppose you're right. I just.... I don't want to make a fool of myself in front of him. I'd never hear the end of it."
"You won't make a fool of yourself," Carlos assured him. "Just be yourself. You're a catch, mate. Max would be lucky to have you. And if he can't see that, then he's an idiot."
That comment made Leo chuckle, his nerves slowly starting to dissipate. "Thanks, man. I appreciate the confidence boost. But what if... what if it does blow up in our faces? What if Max rejects me?"
"Then we'll deal with it," Carlos said, his tone firm. "But that's not going to happen. I have a good feeling about this, Leo. Trust me. Everything will work out, you just have to have faith."
Leo let out a shaky breath, trying to summon up some courage. "Okay," he said, steeling himself. "I trust you. Let's do this. But if it goes wrong, I'm blaming you." Carlos gave him a reassuring smile. "Deal. But it won't go wrong. I guarantee it. You'll have Max eating out of the palm of your hand by the end of the night. Just wait and see."
Leo nodded, trying to believe in Carlos' words. But inside, his stomach was still tied in knots. Spending time alone with Max was one thing. But actually flirting with him... that was a whole different ball game. But he was determined to see this through, no matter how terrifying it might be.
——
Carlos' party was in full swing. Music blared from the speakers, and the room was filled with the laughter and chatter of countless drivers and guests. Leo stood off to the side, nursing a drink as he surveyed the crowd, nervously waiting for Max to arrive.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Max walked through the doors, flanked by several members of his team. Leo's heart skipped a beat as he took in his crush's appearance. Max was wearing a sharp suit that hugged his muscular frame in all the right places, and his hair was styled back in its usual manner. He looked every part the suave and confident racecar driver.
Leo had to fight the urge to go over and say hello right then and there, but he managed to restrain himself. He knew Carlos had a plan, and he didn't want to screw things up by acting too eager. So he forced himself to stay where he was, casually leaning against the wall as he sipped his drink and watched Max schmooze with the other guests. For the next hour or so, Leo kept a watchful eye on Max from across the room. He saw him talking and laughing with other drivers and team personnel, his charm and wit on full display. Leo couldn't help but feel envious of the ease with which Max seemed to navigate social situations, but he also couldn't deny that he found it incredibly attractive.
Eventually, Carlos made his way over to Leo's side, sensing that his friend was starting to grow impatient. "Relax," he said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Everything is going according to plan. Just give it a little bit more time."
Leo took a deep breath and nodded, trying to calm himself down. "I know, I know. But it's just... he's so captivating. I can barely keep my eyes off him."
Carlos chuckled. "Yeah, he's got that effect on people. Trust me I know we were teammates at one point. But you have to keep yourself together, mate. You don't want to come on too strong and scare him away."
"I know, I know," Leo repeated, feeling a bit frustrated at how difficult this was turning out to be. He knew Carlos was right, but it was so hard to maintain composure when all he wanted to do was go over and make a move on Max.
Sensing his friend's frustration, Carlos tried to lighten the mood. "Hey, just think of it as a game. A game of strategy and finesse. You're a strategic genius on the track, aren't you? Just apply those same skills to this situation. Play your cards right, and you'll have Verstappen eating out of the palm of your hand in no time."
"Believe me, I get it," Carlos said, grinning. "But you can't let your attraction to him cloud your judgment. You have to stay focused on the endgame - getting some alone time with him."
"Right, right," Leo said, nodding in agreement. "And how exactly are we supposed to get him alone? You never told me that part of the plan." Carlos smirked. "Don't worry, I've got a plan for that too. Just relax and enjoy the party for now. Trust me, everything is going to work out exactly how it's supposed to."
Leo tried to take a deep breath and relax, but his nerves were still on high-alert. As he watched Max chatting with another driver, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, wishing that he was the one Max was paying attention to. But he shook his head, trying to stay positive. Carlos was right. There was a plan in place, and he just had to go with it.
Time seemed to crawl by, and Leo found himself growing more and more impatient as the minutes ticked by. He checked his watch every few minutes, wondering when Carlos' plan was going to take effect. He tried to distract himself by engaging in small talk with fellow party goers, but his mind kept wandering back to Max. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Max turned in Leo's direction, his gaze meeting Leo's across the room. Leo felt his heart skip a beat as their eyes locked, and his palms began to sweat. He saw Max give him a brief nod of acknowledgment before turning back to his current conversation, and Leo tried to hide the wave of excitement and nervousness that swept over him.
"He noticed you," Carlos said, appearing suddenly at Leo's side. "See? Everything is going according to plan. You just have to wait a bit longer, and then we'll make our move." Leo took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But how long do we have to wait? This is torture, man."
The night wore on, and as it grew later, the party attendees started to thin in number. Leo was still by the wall, nursing his drink, when he noticed Max making his way towards him. His heart skipped a beat as Max approached, his charming smile never leaving his face. "Hey, man. Enjoying the party?" Max asked, leaning against the wall beside Leo. Leo felt his throat go dry, his palms starting to sweat. He tried to keep his voice steady as he responded.
"Yeah, yeah. It's great," he said, taking a sip of his drink. He tried to keep his gaze focused on Max's face, but he could feel his eyes continually drifting downward, tracing the lines of Max's muscular body. Max chuckled, clearly noticing Leo's wandering gaze. "You know, you don't have to act all nervous around me. I don't bite."
"I'm not nervous," Leo lied, feeling his cheeks flush red. He tried to cover up his obvious nervousness with a smirk. "Just appreciating the view, that's all." Max raised an eyebrow, his smirk growing wider. "Oh, really? And what exactly are you appreciating?"
Leo swallowed hard, realizing that he had walked right into that one. "Uh, just... the party. The decorations and stuff. It's all very... festive." Max chuckled, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Leo. "Right, of course. The decorations. That's definitely what you were looking at."
Leo felt his face growing even hotter and knew he was blushing. "shut up," he mumbled, taking another sip of his drink. Max just chuckled again, still amused by Leo's flustered response. "Relax, man. I'm just messing with you. But seriously though, you're as red as a tomato right now. Do I make you nervous or something?"
"No, no," Leo denied weakly, trying to pull himself together. "You don't make me nervous. I'm just... feeling the effects of a few too many drinks, that's all." He tried to take another sip of his drink, but his shaking hand almost spilled it. Max chuckled again, clearly not convinced by Leo's flimsy excuse. "Right, it must be the alcohol. Not the fact that you're standing here, stuttering and blushing like a fool in front of me."
Leo mentally cursed himself for being so obvious. He tried to come up with a witty retort, but his brain was not cooperating. "Well, maybe I'm just not used to being around someone as attractive as you, alright?" he muttered, hating himself for admitting that out loud.
Max smirked again, clearly enjoying this. "You think I'm attractive, huh?" he asked, leaning in a bit closer. "You're not so bad yourself, you know. When you're not acting all nervous and tongue-tied, that is." Leo's heart raced at their sudden proximity. He tried to keep his cool, but Max's playful demeanor and the smell of his cologne were making it difficult to think straight. "Yeah, well... you're not exactly hard on the eyes either," he managed to say, his voice cracking slightly.
Max chuckled again, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You're really not very good at the whole being-chill thing, are you? It's kind of adorable, actually."
Leo felt his face flush even more, if that was possible. "I don't know what you're talking about," he muttered, taking another sip of his drink. "I'm totally chill. Completely cool."
Max chuckled again, clearly not buying it. "Yeah, totally cool. That's why your face is beet red and you can barely string together a coherent sentence. Totally chill."
Leo groaned inwardly, knowing that Max was right. "Shut up," he muttered, taking a gulp of his drink. "I'm trying my best, alright?"
Max chuckled again, clearly enjoying making Leo squirm. "I know, I know. And like I said, it's kind of adorable. But seriously, relax. You don't have to act all nervous and awkward around me. I don't bite, remember?"
Leo forced himself to take a slow breath and calm his racing heart. "Right, yeah. No biting. Got it." He managed a shaky smile. "I guess I'm just... not used to being around someone as confident and charming as you, that's all." Max chuckled again, clearly enjoying this banter. "Confident and charming, huh? I like the sound of that. But for the record, I'm not trying to be charming or anything. I'm just being myself. If you can't handle it, that's your problem."
"I can handle it," Leo retorted, though his voice still wavered slightly. "I'm not some timid little mouse, you know. I can handle my own conversation." Max raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by Leo's bravado. "Oh, really? Is that so? Then why do you look like you're about to pass out from nervousness every time I get close to you?"
Leo cursed inwardly, knowing that Max was making a good point. He tried to come up with a clever comeback, but his brain felt like mush. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," he muttered, sounding unconvincing even to his own ears. "I'm not nervous."
Max chuckled again, clearly enjoying this. "Yeah, you definitely sound like a confident guy who's not at all intimidated by me," he teased, taking a step even closer. "Your trembling hands and flushed cheeks really sold it." Leo felt the heat of Max's body inches away from his own, and his heart skipped a beat. He could feel the warmth radiating off of him, and the scent of his cologne was intoxicating. He swallowed hard, trying to keep his cool. "I... I just..." he stammered, struggling to form coherent thoughts.
Leo tried to resist the effect that Max's voice was having on him, but he was powerless against it. He felt his knees growing weak and his stomach flipping in somersaults. "I..." he tried to speak, but his voice came out as a hoarse whisper.
Max chuckled again, feeling the power he had over Leo. "Cat got your tongue, eh?" he teased, leaning in even closer. "You know, this is kind of fun. Reducing the great Leo McTavish to a bumbling, stuttering mess with just a few words."
Leo felt his stomach do another flip at Max's words. He tried to summon up whatever courage he had left, but it was all lost in a wave of desire and longing. "You're... you're doing this on purpose," he muttered weakly, hating himself for how pathetic he sounded. Max chuckled again, leaning in even closer until their faces were mere inches apart. "Of course I am," he replied, his voice low and seductive. "And it's working, isn't it? Look at you, all flushed and shaking. It's almost too easy."
Leo couldn't deny how true that was. He was totally under Max's spell, vulnerable and powerless. He tried to take a step back, to put some distance between them and regain his composure, but his legs felt weak and wobbly. "I... I can't..." he muttered, his voice barely audible.
Max chuckled again, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Leo. "Can't what?" he teased, his breath hot against Leo's neck. "Can't form a coherent thought? Can't keep your legs from shaking? Can't resist me?"
Leo shuddered as Max's breath tickled his skin, sending heat coursing through his body. He felt powerless against the tide of desire that was threatening to consume him. "Please," he whispered, his voice shaking. "Don't do this. You're making it impossible for me to think straight." Max chuckled again, his lips hovering just millimeters from Leo's ear. "That's the point," he whispered back, his breath hot and seductive. "I want you to feel off-balance and disoriented. I want you to be completely at my mercy. Is it working, huh?"
Leo shivered as Max's words sent ripples of pleasure through his body. He knew he should resist, should push Max away and take back control of the situation. But he was powerless against the force of Max's charisma and appeal. "Yes," he admitted, his voice barely audible. "It's working. You're... you're driving me crazy."
Max chuckled again, clearly pleased with himself. "Good," he whispered, his lips still hovering just millimeters from Leo's ear. "That's exactly what I wanted. To drive you crazy. To make you weak in the knees. To make you want me so badly that you can't think straight."
Leo shuddered again as Max's words washed over him. His brain was a hazy mess of desire and longing, and all he could focus on was the heat of Max's body and the sound of his voice. "I... I do want you," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I want you so badly it hurts."
Max chuckled again, clearly satisfied that he had reduced Leo to such a vulnerable state. "I know you do," he whispered, his lips finally brushing against Leo's ear. "And I want you too. More than you could ever imagine. it’s why my girlfriend and I broke up"
Leo felt a jolt of surprise at Max's words. "Your... your girlfriend?" he managed to say, trying to force his brain to focus through the haze of desire. “I swing both ways Leo” Max says casually. Leo's mind froze as he processed Max's words. He had suspected that Max might not be straight, given his confident demeanor and charming personality, but hearing it confirmed was still a surprise. "You... you're bi?" he managed to say, his voice wavering slightly.
Max chuckled again, clearly amused by Leo's surprise. "Yeah, I am," he said, his voice nonchalant. "What, did you seriously think I was straight this whole time?"
“Well yeah?…actually but now that I think of it you and Daniel make so much sense now” Leo states.
Max chuckled at that, clearly amused by the implication that he and Daniel had given off a bisexual vibe together. "What, just because we're close friends and comfortable around each other?" he said with a smirk. "Just because we're affectionate and handsy, you immediately assumed we must be secretly boyfriends?"
"Well... yeah," Leo admitted sheepishly, feeling a little embarrassed. "I mean, you guys always seemed really close and comfortable with each other. It just kind of seemed like there was something more going on." Max chuckled again, clearly amused by Leo's assumptions. "Nah, man, it's not like that. Daniel and I are just really good friends, that's all. We're comfortable with each other because we've known each other for years. We might mess around and flirt with each other a lot, but it's all in good fun. There's nothing romantic or sexual between us."
“Ok so what about you and Charles?” Leo asked. Max chuckled again “I’ll be honest there was this one time when Charles and I hooked up but it was a one time thing” Max says. Leo was surprised to hear about Max and Charles' encounter, but he had to admit that it was intriguing. "Really? When was that?" he asked, trying to keep his voice casual.
Max shrugged. "It was a few years ago, at some after-party. We were both drunk and frustrated and horny, and one thing led to another." He chuckled again, clearly amused by the memory. "It was fun, but it was just a one-time thing. We never spoke about it again afterwards."
Leo felt a pang of jealousy at the thought of Max and Charles together, but he tried to push it aside. He had to remind himself that it had been years ago and didn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. "So you guys are just friends now, huh?" he asked.
"Yeah, of course," Max replied, shrugging as if it was no big deal. "We're both professional drivers and we have to maintain a certain level of professionalism towards each other. We didn't want anything coming between that."
“Now what about you and Carlos?” Max asked Leo. Leo's face flushed as Max brought up the subject of him and Carlos. He tried to keep his voice calm and measured. "Me and Carlos? What about us?"
"Oh come on, don't play coy with me," Max said with a smirk. "I've seen the way you two look at each other. There's something going on there, isn't there?"
“There was this one time” Leo whispered Max's smirk widened as he heard Leo's whisper. "Aha, I knew it," he said, leaning in closer. "Spill the details, man. What happened between you and Carlos?" Leo felt his face flushing even more as Max pressed him for details. He hadn't talked to anyone about that night with Carlos, and the memories still felt fresh and raw. "We... we kissed," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
Max raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by Leo's confession. "You kissed, huh? That explains a lot," he said with a smirk. "But that's all you did, right? Just a kiss?"
"Yeah, just a kiss," Leo confirmed, his heart racing as he remembered the way Carlos' lips had felt against his own. "It was... it was kind of a heat-of-the-moment thing. We were both drunk and emotional, and it just happened. and besides as much as I love Carlos he isn’t the one I want.” Leo says.
Max raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by Leo's admission. "Oh really, he isn't the one you want? Then who is?" he asked, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. “You” Leo says looking into Max’s eyes. Max's smirk faded, and his eyes widened slightly in surprise at Leo's bold admission. "Me?" he repeated, as if he wasn't quite sure he had heard Leo correctly.
"Yeah, you," Leo confirmed, his voice shaky but determined. "I can't explain it. There's just something about you that draws me in. I can't stop thinking about you. I want you so badly it hurts. but you always piss me off and you drive me insane”
Max was speechless for a moment, clearly taken aback by Leo's words. He had been teasing and flirting with Leo all night, taking pleasure in reducing him to a stuttering mess. But now the tables had turned, and it was Max who was flustered and off-balance. "I... uh..." he stammered, fumbling for a response. Leo chuckled at the sight of Max being flustered for once. "Speechless, huh?" he teased, emboldened by the fact that he had finally gotten under Max's skin. "It's nice to see you at a loss for words for once."
Max's cheeks reddened as he tried to regain his composure. "Shut up," he muttered, trying to sound gruff and unbothered. "You just caught me off guard, is all. I didn't expect you to be so... honest about your feelings."
Leo smiled, feeling a sense of satisfaction at having finally broken through Max's cocky facade. "What, did you think I was just going to keep pining after you like some lovesick puppy?" he teased. "Well, sorry to disappoint you, but I've got some bite in me too." Max chuckled at that, clearly amused by Leo's newfound confidence. "Oh, I know you've got a bite," he said with a smirk. "I just hadn't expected you to be so direct about it. It's kind of sexy, actually."
Leo felt his face flush at Max's words, but this time it was from arousal rather than embarrassment. "Do you want to get out of here?” Leo asked. Max's eyes darkened as he picked up on the change in Leo's tone. "Hell yes," he said, his voice low and rough. "Lead the way." Leo felt a thrill of excitement run through him as Max agreed to leave with him. Without a word, he grabbed Max's hand and led him out of his apartment that he temporarily shared with Carlos, weaving between the people and the door.
Once they were out of the apartment, the cool night air hit them like a blast, bringing them back to reality for a moment. But Max quickly recovered and pulled Leo closer, pinning him up against the wall of the building. "You're playing a dangerous game, McTavish," Max growled, his voice low and seductive. "Leading me out of the apartment like this. You have no idea what I'm going to do to you."
Leo felt a shiver of anticipation run down his spine as Max growled in his ear. "Is that a threat or a promise?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady. Max chuckled darkly, his hands roaming over Leo's body as he pressed him even harder against the wall. "Both," he whispered, his lips brushing against Leo's ear. "You have no idea what you're in for."
Leo's breath hitched as Max continued to explore his body with his hands, his touch setting every nerve ending on fire. "Then what are you waiting for?" he whispered, his voice barely audible. "Do your worst."
Max chuckled at Leo's challenge, clearly enjoying the way he squirmed and shivered under his touch. "You're gonna regret asking for that," he warned, his fingers slipping under Leo's shirt and tracing a path of heat across his skin. Leo let out a soft moan as Max's fingers danced across his skin, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. "I doubt it," he retorted, his voice trembling slightly. "I can handle whatever you dish out."
Max laughed again, his lips now trailing kisses down the side of Leo's neck. "We'll see about that," he murmured, his tongue darting out to taste Leo's skin. "Because I'm just getting started."
Max led Leo towards his apartment, his hands still holding onto him possessively. Once they were inside, he pushed Leo up against the wall and kissed him fiercely. Their lips and tongues tangled in a heated kiss, their bodies pressing tightly together. Leo wrapped his arms around Max’s neck, pulling him closer as he surrendered to the overwhelming sensations. Max's hands roamed over Leo's body, exploring every inch of him. He slipped his hands under Leo's shirt, his fingers tracing patterns over his skin. Leo gasped as Max's touch ignited sparks of pleasure through his body, his knees weakening as his desire for Max reached a dizzying height.
Max broke the kiss suddenly, panting for breath. "Come on," he ordered, his voice low and gruff. "Bedroom. Now." Leo nodded, his brain too muddled with desire to form words. He allowed Max to lead him towards the bedroom, his heart racing with anticipation. As they entered the room, Max pushed him down onto the bed and straddled him, his gaze intense and predatory. Max leaned down, his lips trailing down Leo's neck and along his collarbone. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do this," he murmured, his breath hot against Leo's skin. "How long I've thought about having you like this, all to myself."
Leo let out a moan as Max's lips found a particularly sensitive spot on his throat, his hips bucking up involuntarily.
Max chuckled darkly, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Leo. "So impatient," he teased, running his tongue along the edge of Leo's ear. "Don't worry, you'll get what you want. But first, I want to take my time with you. I want to savor every moment of this."
Max slowly began to unbutton Leo's shirt, his fingers trailing over each inch of newly exposed skin. Once the shirt was discarded, Max's lips and tongue followed the same path, exploring every contour of Leo's chest and stomach. Leo writhed beneath him, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as the heat began to pool low in his belly. Max looked up at Leo, a smug smirk on his face. "You're so responsive," he murmured, his hands roaming over the bare skin of Leo's torso. "I love the way you react to my touch. It's like your body was made for me."
Leo could only manage a moan in response, his brain too consumed by desire to form coherent words. He wanted more of Max's touch, more of his kisses, more of everything he was offering. But Max was taking his time, driving him slowly insane with every teasing caress.
Max's hands moved lower, trailing down towards the waistband of Leo's jeans. He lingered there for a moment, teasing the sensitive skin with light touches. "Do you want me to keep going?" he asked, his voice low and sultry. “Yes please” Leo begged desperately.
Max chuckled, clearly enjoying the desperation in Leo's voice. "Since you asked so nicely," he teased, his fingers quickly unfastening the button on Leo's jeans. He slowly began to pull them down, revealing more and more of Leo's skin with each inch of fabric that he removed.
Once Leo's jeans were discarded, Max took a moment to admire the sight before him. Leo was splayed out beneath him, his body flushed and trembling, his eyes dark with desire. Max ran his hands over Leo's thighs, his touch gentle but possessive.
"You're so beautiful," Max murmured, his gaze roaming over every inch of Leo's body. "I can't believe I get to have you like this." He leaned down, his lips brushing against Leo's ear as he continued to talk. "But trust me, we're just getting started."
Max began to kiss and nibble his way down Leo's body, his lips and tongue trailing over every sensitive spot he could find. Leo moaned and arched his back, his body seeking more of Max's touch. He felt like he was on fire, his senses overwhelmed by the pleasure coursing through him.
"I love the way you react to me," Max murmured, his lips moving lower and lower down Leo's body. "I love the sounds you make, the way you writhe and squirm beneath me. I could do this all night, just drive you crazy with pleasure until you're begging me to let you come."
"Please," Leo gasped, his fingers gripping the sheets tightly. "I can't take much more of this. I need you. Now."
Max chuckled, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Leo. "So impatient," he teased, his hands slowly moving to Leo's underwear. "But I suppose I've tortured you enough." He slowly pulled off Leo's underwear, his eyes darkening with desire as he took in the sight of Leo's naked body. "You're even more beautiful than I imagined," he murmured, his hands roaming over Leo's skin.
Max leaned down, pressing his body against Leo's. He captured his lips in a kiss, his tongue delving deep into his mouth as he rolled his hips against him. Leo moaned into the kiss, his body arching up to meet Max's every touch. Max pulled back slightly, breaking the kiss but still keeping his body pressed against Leo's. "Are you ready for more?" he asked, his voice low and rough. "Because I'm not even close to being done with you yet."
Leo nodded, his brain too foggy with desire to form words. He was completely at Max's mercy, his body trembling with need and anticipation. He wanted more of Max, more of his touch, his kisses, everything. Max nodded, a predatory gleam in his eyes. "That's what I thought," he said, his hands gripping Leo's hips tightly. He began to press kisses and nibbles down Leo's neck and chest again, his body still grinding against him in a slow, maddening rhythm. Leo arched his back, his breath coming in ragged gasps as Max continued to tease and torment him. His fingers dug into the sheets, desperate for something to anchor himself to as the pleasure swirled through him like a maelstrom.
Max continued his path down Leo's body, his mouth and hands exploring every inch of skin he could reach. He took his time, savoring the taste and feeling of Leo under him. Leo's moans and gasps grew louder and more desperate, his body writhing under Max's touch. "You're so close, aren't you?" Max murmured, his lips now hovering millimeters above the most sensitive part of Leo's body. "I can feel how badly you want to come. You're shaking for me."
"You're so close, aren't you?" Max murmured, his lips now hovering millimeters above the most sensitive part of Leo's body. "I can feel how badly you want to come. You're shaking for me.” max says his hand stroking Leo’s throbbing length
Leo could only moan in response, his body arching up towards Max's touch. He was so close, so impossibly close, his body wound up tight like a coiled spring. "Please," he gasped, his voice strained and broken. "I need... I need..."
Max chuckled, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Leo. "Shhh," he whispered, his hand continuing to gently stroke Leo's length. "I know what you need. Just a little more. Just a little longer."
Max shifted his body slightly, positioning himself between Leo's legs. He continued to tease and stroke him, his touches deliberate and precise. "You're doing so well," he murmured, his eyes fixed intently on Leo's face. "Just a little more. Let go for me."
With that, Max's hand moved faster, his touch more insistent. Leo's body tensed up, his breath catching in his throat as the pleasure coiled tighter and tighter inside him. And then, suddenly, it snapped. He let out a guttural moan, his body arching up off the bed as his release hit him in waves max following shortly after. Max collapsed on top of Leo, his breath coming in short gasps. They lay there for a moment, their bodies pressed against each other, both of them reeling from the intensity of their pleasure. "That was... incredible," Leo said finally, his voice hoarse and raspy.
Max chuckled shakily, still trying to catch his own breath. "Incredible doesn't even begin to describe it," he replied, his hand tracing lazy patterns across Leo's skin. "I don't think I've ever felt anything like that before."
Leo smiled sleepily, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle over him now that the initial rush of pleasure had faded. "Me neither," he murmured, his eyelids drooping shut. "I think you might have worn me out." Max chuckled again, shifting his body to pull Leo closer to him. "Go to sleep," he whispered, his fingers running through Leo's hair. "You look exhausted." Leo mumbled something in agreement, already half asleep. He snuggled closer to Max, burying his face in his chest. The last thing he remembered before drifting off was the feeling of Max's arms wrapped around him, holding him tightly.
Max watched Leo sleep for a moment, a small smile on his face. He knew they had a lot to talk about in the morning, but for now he was content to just hold him close and enjoy the feeling of having him in his arms. He let out a sigh, feeling the exhaustion settle over him as well.
"Goodnight, Leo," he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of his head. "Sleep well." With that, he closed his eyes and let himself drift off to sleep, already looking forward to seeing what the morning would bring.

a/n: I got pirate treasure brainrot while drawing Jeanne so I made this in a hurry......... Also kinda continuation from my other fit Jasmine. Imma head to bed now
cw: oc x canon (Kalim x Jeanne), uhhhh lies to try to push people away? If that makes sense? Also thoughts of self hatred
words: 1070
“Kalim.” Jeanne spoke suddenly, her hand stopping from caressing the boy’s hair. He made a sound of acknowledgement, waiting to hear what his beloved would say. “I think it's time we stop whatever this is.”
Kalim’s eyes immediately opened, and he sat down to look at the girl with confusion on his face. His red irises looked everywhere on Jeanne's face, searching for any hint of a joke, but her expression was serious, there was no smile, no indication that she didn't mean what she said.
“What… what do you mean?” He asked, his anxiety building up as he lifted his hand to touch the girl's face. She held his wrist with her hand and leaned into his touch, a melancholic look in her eyes. “We… we’re together, right? Are you– you're trying to break up with me?”
“Kalim, there wasn't even a relationship to begin with.” she gently pushed his hand away, holding it on her lap. “We never agreed to be together as lovers.”
“But we are.” He insisted, almost frantic. “I wouldn't have kissed you that day if I didn't love you. You never rejected me either, so–”
“Because I wanted to use you.” Kalim blinked. his heart sinking as he saw the girl frowning, her eyes fixated on the ground. “I wanted– I'm a pirate, Kalim.” She began, biting her lip. “I steal, that's what I do. You're a rich boy who I thought would be an easy target.”
“I… know that.” He said, and it was Jeanne's turn to feel like her heart was breaking. “I always knew that, I’m not dumb.” Of course he wasn't. Jeanne knew that. But still, hearing him say it… “But I just loved you so much I couldn't help it.”
Jeanne let out a painful chuckle, letting his hand go and playing with her hook.
“Love? You don't know what love is, Kalim.” He couldn't love her. It was impossible to love someone like her. “You’ve known me for months.”
“But I knew I loved you from the moment I saw you.” Kalim tilted his head, his hand moving to her chin, making her lift her face and look him in the eye. Kalim smiled softly, his dimples that Jeanne loved so much showing up. “I love you.”
No.
She took his hand out of her face and got up, but before she could walk Kalim held her wrist, making her look at him. Her face was redder than an apple, but she couldn't help it, he had always been like that… so gentle, so loving, so honest.
She would poison his existence if she stayed for longer.
“Jeanne, please.” He pleaded, deciding to get up, not once leaving his grip on her wrist, scared she’d run away. “I don't care about your intentions at first. I only care about how you feel now.” He smiled, his fingers caressing the girl's face, and she felt herself melting into his touch once again. “So, please, stay with me.”
Jeanne closed her eyes tightly and gently took his hand out of her face, she was bracing herself for the absurdity she was about to say, for how much this would hurt not only her, but him as well.
But there was no other way. She needed him to get away from her. For his own good.
“I don't love you.”
Kalim blinked. “What?”
“I don't love you, Asim.”
“What are you saying…?” He questioned, holding onto her tighter. “Jeanne, I told you, I–”
“This was all a trick, Asim, I never loved you.” She continued the lie, daring to look the boy in the eyes, no matter how much it stung. “Unfortunately, I realized that Jamil and Damali are onto my schemes. There's no benefit for me in pretending any longer.”
She pushed his hands away, but she couldn't help but do it softly, gently. Almost as if trying to undo the damage she had caused. But she was too far gone.
“Do me a favor.” His red eyes never left her gaze, not even when he started to tear up. She bit her bottom lip in an attempt to stay strong. “Forget that I ever got into your life.”
With that, she turned around, closing his bedroom door behind her. As she did, she tried to hear anything from the boy inside, but it was pure silence.
Then, she heard soft sniffles, almost as if trying to keep quiet, as if trying not to bother anyone. Jeanne felt her eyes tear up.
He was hurting. Because of her.
She was a monster.
The girl crouched down, her face resting on her knees as she let a few tears fall. She couldn't help it, she wouldn't be able to wait until she reached her room in Savanaclaw, she needed to let it out now, at least some of it.
She hated herself for this. She hated every last part of herself. How dare she, a girl like her, try to take advantage of a boy like him, and later think they could be happy? Why? Because he had ‘changed her'? Because he was gentle and caring? Because he made her feel safe, and loved? And as if she deserved attention? And deserved kindness? Because he treated her as the most precious jewel in the entirety of Twisted Wonderland, despite all the riches he got?
What a joke!
She had tried to manipulate him, and therefore she didn't deserve his love. Kalim needed to find a wonderful, kind girl who would love him for who he was, and not for what he could get her. He deserved someone whose family had a decent job, who didn't steal for a living.
He… deserved the opposite of her.
“Jeanne?” She fell on her butt upon hearing her name, and after realizing it was Jamil, a plate of food in his hands, – probably for Kalim – she dried her tears and got up almost immediately. She didn't want him of all people knowing how much this affected her. “What–”
“I'm not gonna show up at Scarabia anymore.” She said, making Jamil blink in surprise. “Sorry for being a nuisance this whole time.”
And with that, she left, running back to Savanaclaw with tears in her eyes, and a heartbroken. She hated admitting this but she would never be able to love anyone as she loved Kalim.
But he should love someone else. For his own good.

Surpise kisses! - CSM characters (Makima, Kobeni, Power, Asa)
summary: giving your girlfriend some surprise kisses for whatever reason. Could be because they were being cute or maybe you just wanted to surprise the ones who normally aren't surprised by any of your antics!
a/n: haven't done one of these in a while, i miss doing these longer post. I just feel kinda burned out writing them lol gonna try to make more of these might use this same idea for a HSR version , also i hc Makima to be a little over 6 ft tall bc i love tall women and have a v serious problem called im short and tall women make me feel things
Makima
Makima is usually very aware of her surroundings. She's even more aware of you.
Maybe it's due to her being the control devil and her need to know she has control over things, but she doesn't tend to get surprised very easily. Catching someone like her off guard is tough, maybe even impossible.
But really late nights home from the office can leave her feeling fatigue, maybe even a bit vulnerable. But she's fine feeling vulnerable with it, makes her feel human.
Taking her coat off as a few of the dogs jump to get an ounce of attention from the woman, she doesn't notice that you had gotten so close to her.
Only noticing after she stands up from kneeling on the ground petting one of the smaller dogs, she meets your lips. It seems you had planned this out a bit, waiting until she stood up just often to meet you.
Her reaction wasn't quite as excepted, sure her eyes got a bit wider, but she didn't seem any more surprised than that.
Mostly flustered individuals on this list
She gives a smile before standing up all the way, she seems a little less tired than she looked when she first entered the apartment.
"That was a very pleasant surprise. I think more of those would be nice, you'd spare me a few more, right?"
Kobeni
She might actually pass out.
Kobeni enjoys kissing as much as any other flustered person, but surprise ones are definitely a one way ticket to be having a red face for the next couple of hours.
And surprise her with a good luck kisses on her way out to work was definitely not very helpful, now all she can think about it how soft your lips were. Now she has to deal with teasing from her coworkers.
Tries not to think about it, but she really wishes that she could get another one. Maybe you'll surprise her with one when she gets home or maybe she could surprise you with one of her own. Thinking about it just makes her face even redder.
"S..So not fair! I bet they're not even h.. half as red as i am! Just wait until I get home"
I don't think she even really notices? Power just thinks it's a regular kiss, maybe she jsut thinks all kisses are surprised kisses? Or maybe the surprise kisses were the friends we made along the way
Kobeni gets to shy to try to surprise you with a kiss so she just asks if she could get another kiss.
Power
In any case, Power loves getting kissed so she doesn't really mind. She's more likely to surprise you with kisses.
Her favorite way to surpise you with a kiss or two is to lay ontop of you until you wake up to which she'll start kissing anywhere and everywhere she can.
Sharing a juice box together didn't seem like too big of a deal. You had said you left your own drink at home and didn't want to buy one from the vending machine. It was sold out of your favorite drink, so as the kind girlfriend Asa was, she offered that you both share a drink.
A bit scary and a little bit painful as she has bitten you once or twice on accident. Possibly even scrapped you with her horns once or twice.
"HUH!? What do ya mean i can't wake you up like that anymore? You should be lucky that the almighty Power wakes you up like that... Biting you is just another form of a kisses, those bloodsucker bugs do it all the time!"
Asa Miktaka
Still sipping the juice box, Asa's faces turns a bit red. Asa takes the straw out of her mouth and puts her hand to her lips. She's a little embarrassed that she didn't think of it like that.
As you were both talking and taking sips from the juice box, you let out a small laugh as Asa took another. She shoots a questioning look to you and you share what you were giggling about.
"This kinda counts as our first kiss, y'know? Indirectly but still technically a kiss."
A bit more embarrassed that her first kiss wasn't even an actual kiss. She was even more flustered when you pulled her hand away and gave her the actual kiss she wanted.
"There, fixed it. I thought a real kiss would be better than having an indirect one.. Your face is a little too red, you okay Asa?"

hello I am here to politely request more Gray Ghost
This is heavily based on the song In the Name Of Love by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha. Highly recommended great gray ghost vibes.
“Are you sure that dating is a good idea?” Valerie inhaled sharply through her nose at Danny’s words, immediately pushing down the sting of rejection. She doesn’t hide it very well, as Danny takes one look before he continues, panicked. “I don’t mean it like that! I just. Don’t know if its a good idea?”
“If you don’t like me, you can just say that,” she mumbles. She moves to turn away, but Danny grabs her wrist before she can.
“It’s not that! I do like you, and I would like to date you. I’m just worried that uh.” Danny’s face is beat red, and he lowers his voice until he’s mumbling as well. “I just don’t want something bad to happen.”
Valerie feels the sting of rejection fade slightly. “Like what?” she asks, slipping her wrist out of Danny’s grasp to properly hold her hand.
He looks down at it, face turning even redder. “I don’t know. I…” he trails off, looking towards the ground where he kicks at a loose piece of pavement. “I think you’re wonderful, and I don’t want to lose you.”
The last remnants of rejection turn to joy at his confession, and Valerie smiles softly at him, pulling him down to sit on the curb. “That’s why I’m asking you out, Danny. I think you’re wonderful too, and I like you a lot.”
He looks up at her so quickly she’s afraid he might have hurt his neck. “You do?”
She rolls her eyes. “Yea, I do. I’m pretty sure that’s a prerequisite to asking someone out on a date, you know?”
“Oh, right,” Danny says. He chuckles nervously, scratching at the back of his neck in the way he always does when he’s embarrassed. It’s adorable.
Valerie bites her lip and thinks over her next words carefully. “I don’t want to lose you either, you know. But I think we could really be good together, and if we don’t take that chance, we’ll be losing whatever we could have been. I’m willing to risk it, if you are.”
Danny meets her eyes, and she’s lost in the bright, deep blue, just like the last dozen times she’s seen them. He doesn’t answer for a minute, thinking so hard she can practically see the gears turning in his head. Finally, his face relaxes, and she gives her hand, which is still clasped in his slightly sweaty one, a gentle squeeze. “I think that I’d like that.”
“Are you busy tonight?” Danny asks, and Valerie jumps, hitting her hand against the locker door. “I’m sorry!” Danny says, grabbing it quickly and looking it over. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Valerie laughs. “Yea, yea, you never do.” She moves to take her hand away and finish emptying her locker, but Danny stops her. “Danny, I’m fine, you don’t need to worry about it.”
Danny smirks at her. He maintains eye contact with her as he brings her hand to his lips and gently kisses her knuckles. “There. Now you’re fine.” He lets her hand go.
Valerie flicks him in the arm. “Sap. I’m free tonight, after my shift. Why?”
“It’s supposed to be super clear then, and we should be able to see Venus without a telescope or anything. I was wondering if you’d like to go stargazing with me?”
“I think I should be able to,” she says slowly, thinking over her plans for the night. She was working until 9, and had told her father to expect her home around 11, for patrol. But she’d patrolled yesterday, and she so rarely found anything more troublesome than an ectopus. Surely, Phantom could handle Amity by himself for a few hours?
Danny smiled, bouncing so fast with excitement he might as well have been floating. “Great! I can meet you at the Nasty Burger after your shift and we can walk to the park?”
Valerie slammed her locker shut and lifted her backpack over her shoulder. “Actually, why don’t I pick you up? On the corner of Main and Jekyll?”
“Sounds good to me!” Danny agreed instantly. Then he paused in his bouncing. “But why?”
“You’ll see,” Valerie said. She hurried off down the hall, ignoring Danny’s shouted questions as she left his line of sight.
Valerie had her whole shift to worry about what she was planning on doing. She’d been thinking about telling Danny about her being Red Huntress for months now; there just never seemed to be a good time to do it. As nervous as she was about it, she was still certain this was the right time, if only because she needed to know what he looked like surrounded by the stars he loved so much.
Every customer in her ear piece, every load of french fries into the fryer, every tap of a key on the computer system, made her more and more jittery, both from stress and excitement. The second that the clock hit 9 Valerie was clocked out and changing out of her uniform at record speeds. She had scarcely made it behind the dumpster in the back before she was in her Red Huntress suit, soaring away on her hoverboard to the meeting place.
Sure enough, Danny stood in the dark, staring intently down the road in the direction of the Nasty Burger. Valerie floated down as gently as she could manage, getting to be a good seven feet off the ground before Danny turned to look at her. His face slackened in shock, his mouth falling open as he saw her.
She lifted back her visor and smiled at him. “What are you waiting for, Danny? Do you want to see the stars or not?” She held out her hand to him, and he took it without a second thought, stepping up on her hoverboard. He stood in front of her, with her arms wrapped around his torso to keep him secure. “I hope you’re not afraid of heights!” She called. Whatever his answer was, it was lost to the wind as they took to the skies.
Before long, the two of them found themselves floating high above the trees in Amity Park Park, sitting with their legs dangling off the side of the hoverboard and an endless expanse of night sky unbroken above them. Valerie drew her eyes away from the stars, turning them to Danny, and was surprised to see him looking at her in turn.
“Danny?” she asked, concerned. “Is something wrong?” Danny didn’t break her gaze, didn’t answer her question, just stared at her, thinking. “I know its a lot, and I’m sorry I never told you. I didn’t mean to go behind your back with all of this,” she said, panic settling in her chest. She should have thought this over more; of course he wouldn’t just accept this without a thought, she’s been keeping huge, life changing secrets from him!
“What if,” Danny said slowly. “I said this wasn’t the first time I’d been this high up?”
“What?” she asked, confused.
“Not in a plane or anything,” Danny continued. “But flying. Like this. What if I said it wasn’t my first time?”
“Well,” Valerie said, picking apart his words. They seemed so random, but they had to be leading somewhere. “I guess I’d ask when you were? And how?”
Danny hummed, and broke eye contact, looking up at the stars. “And if you didn’t like the answer?”
“I don’t understand,” Valerie said.
“What if I had the answer to that question, but it was one you hated? The type of answer that changed everything, that made you question everything you think you know?” Danny still didn’t look at her, sitting so still it didn’t even look like he was breathing. “Would you still want to know it?”
Valerie took a deep breath, the cold air stinging her nose, her lungs. “If it has to do with you, then yes. I want to know everything about you.”
Danny met her gaze that time, but what she saw was not the beautiful blue that she could get lost in for hours. Danny’s eyes were a burning, glowing green, so vibrant that they illuminated her hoverboard. “It’s not the first time I’ve been up this high. It’s not even the first time I’ve been up here with you.”
Valerie couldn’t have kept her eyes open even if she tried, as a flash of bright light emanated from Danny. She rubbed the spots out of her eyes, and then rubbed them again as she tried to figure out what she was seeing. Danny’s familiar figure had been replaced with a different figure, one just as familiar, if for very different reasons. The ghosts green eyes, the same green she had seen Danny with only moments prior, had once again drifted to the stars.
“What?” she asked, not able to speak over a whisper.
“There was an accident,” he said, and now that the answer had been placed in her lap she couldn’t help but recognize just how similar their voices were. Just how similar their everything was. “In freshman year. I died, but I didn’t do it right. I’m half ghost, and half human.”
This time it was Valerie who was slack jawed. Danny let her gather her thoughts. “I tried to end you.” The words were forced out, every syllable choked as if it hurt to say. In many ways, it did.
“I know you did. I’ve known its been you the whole time,” Danny said, and Valerie was left reeling again from that knowledge.
“But, why?” she asked finally. “If you knew it was me, why did you go out with me? Fuck, why did you try and be my friend?”
“I meant what I said. I think you’re wonderful, and you were trying to help,” Danny said. “It’s why I was worried it wouldn’t end well. I didn’t know what you would think about all of this.”
“I think,” Valerie said. It took effort to keep her voice even, but she managed. “I think that we’re both horrible at being honest.” Danny’s laughter echoed in the night, the haunting echo of a ghost. Normally that echoed chilled her, but it was still Danny’s laugh underneath it all. Danny’s laugh, which had never failed to lift her spirits. Now was not an exception. “No more secrets?” Valerie lifted her hand, pinky finger extended.
Danny looked over, and his smile wasn’t the one of glee he had worn earlier that day, but it was soft, and hopeful, and fit beautifully on his face. “No more secrets.” He looped his pinky finger around hers, locking their promise in place. His hands were ice cold. Valerie didn’t let go.
—-
Valerie didn’t bother trying to find the spare key for Fentonworks under the mat. Before she’d even started up the stairs she had an ectoblaster in her hand. By the time she made it to the top of the stairs the door handle was melted off, and she barreled in the house without breaking her momentum.
She careened through the house at top speed, slamming into walls instead of bothering to change course manually. She’d wasted too many seconds already; she couldn’t afford to be late.
She jumped down the steps to the basement, taking as many as she could at once without badly injuring herself. Even still her knees ached at the impact, but she didn’t slow down. She didn’t slow down until the Dr.’s Fenton came into view, each in their customary color coded jumpsuits, with additional surgery masks on their faces. “Stop!” she shouted, though it came out as more of a sob. “Don’t hurt him!”
Jack and Maddie shared a confused look. “Valerie, what are you doing here?” Maddie asked. Valerie didn’t answer, dashing between the two scientists to stand between them and Phantom, who was strapped to the table. “Valerie Gray, you get away from it! It’s dangerous!”
“He,” Valerie snarled. “is your son!” She didn’t bother looking at their confused faces, her full attention on Danny. He wasn’t hurt too badly, at least not for his standards. He was even still conscious, if only barely, his eyes rolled back in his head. “Danny, can you hear me?”
“Val?” he slurred, trying to turn his head towards her and failing.
“It’s me, Danny.” She fumbled at the mechanisms restraining him. “I’m gonna get you out of here, but I need you to go back to human. Can you do that for me?”
Danny squeezed his eyes the rest of the way shut as he focused. The start of his transformation rings appeared at his waist, but they sputtered out before anything could happen. “Can’t.”
Jack’s hand closed around Valerie’s wrist, firm yet gentle. “Valerie, you can’t be down here, its dangerous. I don’t know what you think it is, but its a ghost. They’re dangerous.”
“I know how dangerous ghosts can be,” she said, wrenching her arm free from Jack’s grip. “I’ve been fighting them with you for years.” She let her suit emerge, everything but the visor. “You know me, you know I’m a good ghost hunter. You’ve trusted me to help defend you in fights. So trust me now.” She pointed at Danny behind her. “That is your son, and you are hurting him. You need to let him go.”
Maddie and Jack stared at her, Jack’s shock clear on his face while Maddie had her eyes narrowed, assessing the situation. Finally, Maddie nodded her head, and moved towards the bed.
“If you’re wrong about this, we’ll be letting a dangerous creature back out into the world,” Maddie said as she worked to deactivate the restraints, Valerie hovering behind her. “But if you’re right, then we will never be able to live with ourselves.”
The restraints popped open, setting Danny free. This time, the rings didn’t petter out.

Bird of Prey Chapter One: Welcome to the Coalmine
(Taglist: @carry-on-my-wayward-gays <3 hope you like it!)
[TangoTek was blown up by a creeper] [SolidarityGaming died]
When Jimmy respawned, startled, itchy, and a little scorched, he expected to see his soulmate. Though, he hadn't expected said soulmate to be the one causing their first death. Tango got the brunt of the injury when it came to the creeper death, still brushing himself off and grumbling to himself. Jimmy found the sight almost adorable.
"Hey, Tango." He called out. The blaze-hybrid let out a startled little "meep!" as he looked up at Jimmy with a sheepish smile.
"Oh. Hi.. uh- I'm so sorry.." He laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his neck.
"It's alright.. honestly, I'm used to being the first one to die, I'd be surprised if I wasn't." He tried to joke.
Tango laughed softly and took Jimmy's hand gently. "Then we might as well get to work setting up somewhere! Before we're both killed again." He grinned, and Jimmy almost swore he felt his heart leap out through his throat.
They decided they'd build a ranch. Jimmy honestly couldn't tell you why that was. It just happened. So did him and Tango's blossoming dynamic. Tango was energetic, and passionate. He talked about redstone projects and life back on the server he was from. Hermitcraft, he said it was. It sounded interesting. Jimmy didn't know much about hermits, or redstone, but he was happy to listen to Tango talk, he liked hearing his voice. And the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled, and the way his hands flapped when he talked about something he was super passionate about, or his bright smile and pretty eyes and- wait what.
Oh dear void, Grian was right. Jimmy had fallen for Tango. Hard.
"Jim? Yo- Jim Jam, dude, you okay?" Tango waved a hand in front of his face, and just then it occurred to Jimmy that he'd been staring. At Tango. Oh dear.
"Y- yeah! Yeah, no- I'm fine!"
"If you think I'm cute, just say so." The blazeborn teased, and Jimmy felt his face turn even redder than before. Was that possible? Who knows at this point. All Jimmy knew was that Tango had caught him staring. They joked about it, brushed it off with a laugh, and moved on.
But it had become more frequent. Their little banter, and slow, longing looks. Brushing of hands, hidden smiles, light blush-dusted cheeks.
It caught everyone else's eyes fairly quickly.
"I think I'm coming down with something.." Tango muttered as he was gathering resources with Impulse and Bdubs. He still liked to keep friendly with them, remembering how they'd worked together in past seasons. He thought maybe they could help.
Impulse lit up, a wide grin splitting his face as he saddled up beside Tango and nudged his arm. "Oh you're down with something alright. Bdubs, I think our friend Tango here is in,, the L word."
Bdubs paused for a minute, and if you looked closely you could see the cogs turning in his head, before he nodded like he understood. "Leprosy!"
Impulse raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "No, dude. Four letters, starts with L, ends in E."
Tango certainly understood what he meant at this point, even if Bdubs still didn't.
"Lice?"
"No, Bdubs." Impulse snorted. "Our friend here is in L-O-V-E."
"I'm not in- Impulse shut up-" blaze rods starting to circle tangos head gave away his hidden embarrassment, though to his credit he did try to snatch them and stuff them into his pockets. Free blaze rods.
"I think he is!" Bdubs, now finally fully understanding what's going on, was excited to join in on the teasing. "He's in love!" Impulse nodded and grinned mischievously.
"Tango and Jimmy sitting in a tree!" The two chorused. Tango's head whipped around to face them. He shuffled through his pockets and tossed whatever was light enough not to hurt them, but heavy enough to impact, towards them.
"K-I-S-S- ow!"
"Tango that was mean!"
But that did get Tango thinking. Where did he and Jimmy stand? They'd never talked about it, really. Both parties got too flustered whenever one would try and bring it up.
Soon enough, they'd find the answer in their ranch. Their home.
Jimmy tried to convince himself that the only reason he was laying like this, curled up against Tango and relaxing into the feeling of a warm hand playing with his hair, was just because Tango was practically a human space heater. He was just warm, and nothing more.
That night already had so many near misses with Death. It hung over Jimmy, loomed ominously like a wraith. Tango had been through the games in the past. He knew how this would go. Might as well tell him.
"We're probably gonna be the first out.." He muttered.
"What makes you say that?" Tango asked, looking down at him curiously.
"I've... I've always been the first out in these games. I'm cursed.. the Watchers don't like me, they never have.. so I'm usually first out. And since you're paired with me... well, that means you're cursed too. Sorry.."
"Remember, I'm the one who got us on yellow first." Tango laughed softly and pulled him closer. "I don't mind being cursed. I'm your soulmate, you're stuck with me until the end of this. Beside,, I'm not really concerned with not winning."
Jimmy looked up at him, bewildered. "You-... you're fine with this? Most people would hate being paired with me..." Sure, Scar was accident-prone. But he wasn't cursed.
"I don't.." Tango smiled down at him warmly. "I haven't regretted being paired up with you this far. I won't regret it further down the line either. Promise that."
Jimmy couldn't help the slight snort that escaped him. "Never love a canary... they're meant for the coalmines."
"I'll be your coalmine, then." Tango kissed his forehead, letting his hand come to rest at the base of Jimmy's spine. "Goodnight, Jimmy.."
Jimmy melted into his arm, head resting on Tango's chest as he smiled a little to himself. "Goodnight, Tango... I love you." He whispered, before drifting off. It was the first time it was said between the two. There were moments where it was understood, little fleeting touches or glances, whispered praises, but never those three words. Now it was being said, and Tango was almost breathless.
"I love you too.." He whispered in return. He felt Jimmy's smile against his chest before he fell asleep as well.
It wasn't all fine. Not like Tango kept wanting it to be. Incident after incident, until it culminated. Jimmy stared at the crumbled down ranch, he heard Scar's laughter echoing in his ears, the taunts of those around him, and he broke.
Tango held him as he sobbed late into the night. He shushed and soothed him, rubbing his back and pressing little kisses to his head. "It's okay.. it's okay. You're okay.."
Jimmy choked out a sob and clung to him as tight as he could. This was them taunting him. He knew it had to be. They were pushing him to his limit. It started with the wings. Then this. This was taking it too far.
He had always been their little play-tester. Never a player in their crooked game.
"I can't take this anymore.." He weakly hiccupped and gripped onto Tango even tighter, his body trembling. "I- I can't- I'm not gonna let them fucking do this anymore-"
"Then we won't..." Tango reassured him. "We won't. I promise. We'll fight back.."
"We'll... we'll fight back..." A change seemed to form in Jimmy. One that he'd only ever heard about from those who'd stayed on Red Life much longer than he usually did. Scar, Grian and Ren had told him horror stories of what it might do to one's mind. He finally understood, at least on some level. But it wasn't horror, no... A different kind of fire flooded through him.
Vengeance.
They set to work on a plan once the ranch had been rebuilt. Jimmy got a brewing stand, powered with Tango's blaze rods, and the poison was made within a few minutes. Then came what to put the poison in something, cookies seemed like a natural choice.
"After all." Jimmy commented smugly. "BigB sure loves his cookies. And Ren's clumsy enough that the last half will already be taken care of."
"You're so smart.." Tango muttered and pulled Jimmy into a little kiss, which the avian happily returned.
"I try."
The easy part was getting them to take the bait. BigB and Jimmy had known each other for a long time. He tried not to think about Evo often, though sometimes the thoughts did cross his mind.
"BigB!" he called out cheerfully. "I brought a gift!"
BigB came outside to see him and lit up. "Dude- ! You didn't have to-.."
"Well, I wanted to.. I mean, we're the only ones on red about now. I wanted to sort of.. well, let you guys know you weren't alone."
"Well, thanks! I hope you guys are doing well." BigB said with a grin, eying Jimmy's wings specifically. "You.. uh,, your wings aren't looking too hot."
"Huh?" Jimmy raised an eyebrow and turned to look at them. They were a grayed yellow, pale and sickly looking. He'd have to fix that. "Oh.. I guess that just comes with being on red, y'know?"
"I guess so.."
BigB took the cookies and went inside, and Jimmy left with a smirk.
Too easy.
While Ren was working on some finishing touches to their Box, BigB eagerly took a bite of one of the cookies. It was heavenly. Then again, in his opinion, you couldn't go wrong with cookies. Unless...
There was a strange aftertaste when he'd swallowed. Like it was burning his throat. His chest tightened up as the poison kicked in. Dropping the plate, he tried to call out for Ren, who was already trying to make his way down.
"Dude- what the hell's going on?!"
"Poison- it- poison- Ren be careful!"
Though in his haste, Ren jumped down from a high ledge. The final nail in the coffin.

By the time dinner rolled around, Druig was pretty beat. Technicals were never fun, but this one had been particularly distressing: gluten free bread. Both he and Makkari were in the bottom half, which wouldn’t have been too terrible a few weeks ago, but now, it could spell disaster. Poor Phastos had come in last, leading him to retire early as usual rather than joining the rest of the group. Results had varied widely for the rest of them, leading to their current discussion.
“People think being vegan is hard, but going gluten free is the real challenge,” Sprite remarked.
“I concur,” Sersi added.
Says the one who came in first, Makkari interjected, a playful smirk on her lips.
“And it was very difficult!” she responded.
“Congrats, by the way!” Gil said, raising his bottle of water in a toast. The rest of them joined in, raising their assorted drinks to Sersi, which made her smile.
“Awww, thanks everyone,” she said as she clinked glasses with the group. While she seemed genuinely happy, Druig thought he spotted a hint of sadness in her eyes. It seemed Makkari had noticed, too.
Hey, you okay? she signed subtly, so as not to alert everyone, though most of them still noticed.
“Yeah, just thinking about our friends who’ve been sent home. Dane actually predicted I’d do well this week. I just wish he was still here to see it,” Sersi explained wistfully.
“You could just call him, right?” Sprite interrupted, sounding more like a statement than a question.
“I think she could, but it might be against the rules to give him too many details about the competition,” Ajak explained.
“And if I call him, I don’t know if I’d be able to hide it for long,” Sersi added.
“Ugh, couples are so gross,” Sprite lamented.
“Oh, we’re not together. Dane and I are just friends,” Sersi said a little too quickly, a blush starting to settle on her cheeks.
You mean he still hasn’t asked you out!? Makkari asked, eyes widening in shock and disbelief.
“What? He’s done no such thing!”
“Really? I asked Thena out the day she got eliminated,” Gil piped up.
Everyone seemed to turn in unison toward Gilgamesh, not exactly surprised at the idea but surprised to hear it confirmed out loud. After a split second of silence, their reactions came all at once.
I KNEW IT! Makkari exploded, nearly shaking with excitement, which made Druig chuckle.
“Well, at least I don’t have to watch you pining after each other anymore,” Sprite said, her voice sounding annoyed, but a small smile on her face.
“That’s great, Gil!” Ajak added.
“She said yes, right?” Druig asked teasingly.
“She did,” Gil confirmed with a grin.
“Oh my goodness, I’m so happy for you two!” Sersi said.
“Thanks, everybody,” Gil replied, a bit surprised but still appreciative of the warm response. “To get back to the point, though, I didn’t wait long. So what’s holding Dane up?”
“I told you already. We’re just friends,” Sersi insisted, her face getting redder by the minute.
“Sersi, he spent most of his time talking to you and the rest of it staring at you when you weren’t looking. I think he might want more than friendship,” Sprite declared.
“That’s not even counting your interactions during dinner,” Druig chimed in, prompting Sersi to shoot him a look.
Maybe he just needs a push in the right direction, Makkari suggested, like advice from someone who knows you both.
“Hey now, we shouldn’t get too involved,” Ajak interjected. “I’m sure Dane is quite capable of asking Sersi out on his own, if that’s what she wants.”
“I wouldn’t be too sure,” Gilgamesh said pensively. “Asking someone out is a lot of pressure. It’s easy to just keep making up excuses for why you shouldn’t do it.”
What was your excuse with Thena? Makkari asked.
“I don’t know how much she’s told you, but we sort of knew each other a long time ago,” he began. “In fact, we were supposed to get coffee together, but she ended up moving away before we got the chance. When we ran into each other again all these years later, I wasn’t sure she’d still want to go out with me.”
“But she did,” Sersi said, smiling gently.
“She did,” Gil confirmed, smiling back. “But I didn’t realize that until the day she got eliminated, and she asked me how much longer I was going to make her wait for that coffee.”
“It was pretty obvious to the rest of us,” Sprite muttered.
“It never seems obvious when it’s happening to you!” he asserted. “You’re still young, Sprite. You’ll see what I mean when it happens to you. Anyway, Makkari might be onto something. If you want Dane to ask you out, Sersi, he might need a push in the right direction.”
“I still think it’s better not to interfere,” Ajak interrupted. She gave a pointed look at Makkari, who feigned innocence at the gesture. Ajak then turned her stern gaze toward Druig, who didn’t need to pretend to be surprised.
“Why are you looking at me?” he asked.
“You know why.”
“I don’t think he does,” Gil said, chuckling.
“For fully grown adults, you’re all pretty clueless, huh?” Sprite teased, sparking a chorus of “Heys” from everyone else. After a moment, she added, “Except for Ajak.”
“Thank you, Sprite,” she replied smugly.
-
As they left Ajak’s room, Druig hung back from the group a bit. Right on cue, Makkari turned to look at him, noticed his growing distance from the rest of them, and accepted his silent invitation to talk. She let the group get a bit further away before asking him, What’s up?
What was Ajak trying to get at earlier?
I think she just knows you’re my usual partner in crime, she replied, a sly smile playing at her lips. And she doesn’t even know the half of it.
Druig couldn’t help but smile, remembering their clandestine baking session earlier that week.
Do you think she’s right, though? Makkari continued.
About what?
About not interfering.
Druig thought about it for a moment, then he turned to her and said, No. I think I’m with Gil on this one. Sometimes guys need a push. Makkari’s small smile turned into a full-blown grin. I’d ask Sersi first, though. Just in case.
I will, but I think she’ll accept my help, she said. You saw her at dinner. She really misses Dane!
Yeah, I don’t envy their situation, he added. Although, if I can’t turn things around tomorrow, that might be us next week.
Hey, she said, as she stopped and turned him to face her. Stay strong. We’re both going to get through this week. You know why?
Why?
Because I won’t allow you to give up, she insisted. There was a soft smile on her face, but a steadiness in her gaze that told Druig that she meant it. It stirred something in his chest.
Thank you. I needed that, he said.
Anytime. With that, she wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her back and noted, not for the first time, that they seemed to fit together perfectly.
-
Honestly, so many cute ships came out of this movie. Hope you enjoyed this installment!

The mug was slammed over the table. Chrom sprawled his arms over the said table, unmoving for a moment before he turned his head to where his drinking buddy was. His face was getting redder and redder due to the intoxication, and he started to slur in his words. "I mean pff... I doht...geet it ... why *hic* was she mad? haaaaa...." head turned back with a light thud sound as he hit his forehead against it. He continues to talk as if he was not making any sense already, now add being muffled. "Shez lookin' lahk I *hic* ME??????? ME!!!!!??? uh...I ... my...? .... I uh, what....?" he turns back to Zechariah. "Huh? Whadida I say?" blinks a couple of time, then he squinted his eyes as if he is trying to remember. "Fff...whatever ... you good... huh..you... *cough* *hic* didn't tell me you got a ......erm... " pointing vaguely at the empty space beside Zech. "twin? two huh.... one and Lay--*hic* cee ...makes a fuss...it's not like *hic* I'm not spendin' *hic* time with her ... huff... nice to meet you" he reaches hand to handshake the emptiness. "listen, buddy.." watch him try to talk to the second zech as if he can't hear them, "his wife--*hic* is scary...*hic* don't miss with her ..." giving him the 'i know it dont ask, look' [drunk ask hoho enjoy the chaos ]
It's not often that he drinks these days. As he gets older – mentally speaking, at least, given that his body didn't seem keen on catching up to his conscious awareness of the passage of time – Zech finds less appeal in alcohol than he did in his younger years. Maybe it's because having a happy family and friends to surround himself with robbed away any pressing dependencies on self-medicating to treat the scars of his heart. Maybe it was simply because he simply lost the taste for it? Inebriation was an entertaining pastime, to be sure, but one in which he finds less and less reason to indulge in.
Social drinking seems to have become the primary instigation for him to engage in alcoholic consumption at all, and it is for this reason that he finds himself situated at a table alongside the Exalt this evening. It would also seem he got an earful from his wife following the exchanging of missives penned in native languages. Poor man. Zech felt a bit sorry for him all things considered. In some ways, Lacie's demeanor and temperament rang with similarities to Sora's, and knowing his own wife's darker moods could only leave him to speculate just how badly Chrom might've received the proverbial "business" in kind.
Zech's learned to pace himself these days. Chrom was evidently upset enough to become quite deep in his cups, but the swordsman seemed contented to nurse each mug methodically. Enough to derive a mild buzz from the intoxication, but not so much that he's ended up the slurring mess that his fellow has been reduced to.
Tumblr media
"Chrom... Brother, I'm gonna need you to listen and listen carefully..." Zech leans in, nearing himself to the other man in order to get his full attention. A part of him wonders if he should place a hand upon him in order to ensure that Chrom heeded him. He decides against it, at least for the moment. "Our wives are the easily jealous type, you get that? Can't say I blame 'em... I mean, if I caught anyone else around the camp makin' a pass at my Rose, I'd..."
Oh. That was a mistake. He felt a flicker of anger welling up within him at the notion, and though he tries to push it aside, the realization settles upon him that – come to think of it – their wives got along exceptionally well with one another. Perhaps too well. And maybe, if neither him nor Chrom ever managed to come into their respective lives, and if they had found one another first—
He leans back in his seat, suddenly losing his own composure and slumping where he sits. It's as though whatever vitality he may have had was sapped completely out of his body.
Tumblr media
"...Y'know, you got a point. You ever notice how good Rose and Lace get on with each other? Where the hell do they get the nerve to get mad at us for bein' such buddies anyway? And I mean, we can't even say anythin' about it to 'em either, or they'll gang up on us. It's not fair. Not at all."

Hiii! I have so many thoughts roaming around causing destruction, I NEED to get this one jealous!pierre out
The paddockwhisperer comes to town, kind of a cross between deuxmoi and lady whistledown from bridgerton where there is an anon who spills a lot of secrets (none of them relating to intellectual property though, just some messy gossip). People don't take it seriously at first but it proves to be pretty accurate, especially when it reveals that a ferrari engineer and the hr head from merc eloped last week which was a huge thing (for the members of the two teams, it was a shock for the rest)
Pierre, being the gossip lover he is, checks it regularly. It even gets a few shoutouts on the sky lives. Pretty much the whole paddock is obsessed with it
Then one day, it claims that "charles leclerc, the championship leader and charmer extraordinaire, gave the deputy head of ferrari's legal department, rafa navarross, 29, a lap dance during a private celebratory party after the win at the last grand prix" and pierre sees it seconds after it's posted and is a little flabbergasted by it. He has a weird feeling in his chest and his heart is beating so loud but he chalks it all off and calls it bullshit, because the charles he knows is way to shy to do that and to especially do that in front of members of his own team. charles just won't.
the rest of the grid though, ofcourse do not let him live it down. they make indirect jokes about it in the driver's meeting , in the press con, in every opportunity. by the end of the thursday, charles is redder than his ferrari with the amount of time he has been blushing. pierre loves seeing it and so he too, joins in on the fun even though to him it's anything but fun. he has started to hate the name rafa, changed his favourite tennis player to roger because he has a limit. and ofcourse it has nothing to do with how he has seen charles and rafa laughing together at one point and it wouldn't be that big of an issue if rafa didn't have the body of a greek god. It's unfair is what it is.
Everything changes later than night though, when he, charles, lando, alex, max, george, carlos and daniel are crammed in carlos' room, drinking a bit while taking turns at playing fifa.
"sooooo, what does one have to get a lap dance around here" lando says while waggling his eyebrows as everyone else (minus pierre) starts to lose it, bastards all of them. "oh my gawde SHUT UP!! You're all so annoying 😤 first of all, you wish lando, get a win first to be at the adult's table and for the last time, it was nothing!! I was just drunk and it was a dare!! merde"
"waitt, so you actually did it??" pierre asks before he can even realise he's saying words out loud. "have you ever known me to back down from a challenge calamar? 🤨" and pierre is pretty sure his brain has stopped working because no way charles just admitted to having done a lap dance. he suddenly felt hot over and that strange feeling from the morning was back again. he was lost in his own and all the voices of the rest of them arguing was filtered out. he only snapped out of it when charles got up to leave, saying that he didn't want a hang over before the FPs and it's getting late and he needs his beauty sleep. As if body had gotten it's own mind, pierre also jumped up saying he should also leave and rushed out of the room before anyone could say their goodnights
But he didn't go to his own room though, no, he followed charles back to his own room and after he had put the key card it, he pushed him up against the door, looking into his eyes before locking their lips together.
*insert a hot steamy makeout session*
"you know, i don't like rafa at all, i think he is a bit of a bastard" "i mean, he is a lawyer pierrot. but he's a nice guy" "ofcourse you would say that, since you gave him a lap dance and all" "HA I knew you were jealous. green is not your colour" "yeah well whatever *grumbles*" "you're so annoying pierrot, fineee, i will give you a lapdance only if i WIN the race on sunday" "i can go for round two now 😏" "i have to drive a car tomorrow, but your patience will pay off" "oh is that so?" "yes." "If i must..... although just tell me if i should bowl into max for you, you know I'd do it" "oh shut up"
KSKSHSKDNDDK ANOOOOOON OH MY GODDDDDDD PLEASE please please please this is so. im obsessed
ESP IF THIS IS PRE RELATIONSHIP/THEM SLEEPING TOGETHER BC LIKE!!!! pierre doesnt recognize his own jealousy for what it is and he gets SO mad at charles, "how could you do that, that is your team member, it is beyond inappropriate" FULLY knowing he is such a hypocrite rn but he can't stop it. and charles gets in his face because "i don't complain about the stories i hear about you, pierre," said in a short tone. and pierre just. "you are so fucking dense calamar--" and charles opens his mouth to interrupt him but decided to kiss pierre instead, all frustrated and desperate. and pierre is so shocked but immediately kisses him back and they make out against his door for a while before charles tells him "i wouldve made you jealous long ago if id known it would lead to this" and pierre just grunts "no lapdances for anyone but me" all possessive and insane and like
yeah. they both stay in charles' room that night.

Mall Date
Ao3 FFnet
---
It had been such a long day that I was looking forward to spending time in my room. That was until someone knocked on my door. And to no surprise, it was Bakugo. “Icyhot, I need to talk to you.” Usually, he wasn’t this straightforward unless it had to do with a certain green hair boy. I let him in, and he went to the center of the room and lay there.
“So, what’s up?” I went over to him and sat down. It was then I happened to notice the shade of pink that crossed his face. Why was he blushing?
“The nerd’s birthday is on Monday.” At that, he finally sat up and looked at me. “Since tomorrow is Saturday, I thought we could spend time at the mall.”
“Ok? I don’t follow. What that has to do with me?”
Watching as Bakugo took a deep breath, it was confusing why his face kept getting redder. He doesn’t always directly say what he means, and it has taken me a while to understand his speech pattern. But this was more straightforward than he had ever been. What exactly could be the reason for this? “When I say we, I am talking about you and me.”
At that, I couldn’t help but blink. “I don’t get it.” And that’s when Bakugo's typical angry face showed itself. He even let out a low growl, which almost always meant he was annoyed. Out of everyone in our class, him and Deku sure do communicate strangely. Sure, I couldn’t understand most of everyone else. But the two childhood friends had a very awkward talking style. Their face doesn’t always match what they say. Then again, they were easier to understand once I knew how.
“I’m saying that you should come with me to celebrate Deku’s birthday at the mall.” OH! I couldn’t help but smile when I finally understood. Even though I knew my face doesn’t always match my emotions, somehow, these two always got me. It’s probably why I considered them great friends.
“I would love to. What should we do?” For the rest of the evening, Bakugo and I planned out what we would do at the mall with Midoriya. It’s so exciting that I was going to be spending time with them.
Come morning, I was not surprised at how Bakugo dragged Midoriya out of his room. “Come on, Kacchan. It’s only 7am! On a Saturday. Let me sleep.” The green hair boy just kept trying to wiggle his way out of Bakugo’s hold but to no use.
Even though most of our class was still in bed, a few of the girls watched in amusement. “So, what’s the reason Bakugo is being a jerk at this ungodly hour?”
I looked at Ashido and tried to remember what Bakugo had made me promise. “I do not know.” I watched as her left eyebrow rose and the corners of her mouth turned to a frown. Even her eyes looked me up and down before setting back on my face. If I am correct, that face typically meant she did not believe me. But I can not break my promise. She then processed to shrug her left shoulder higher than her right before taking a sip of her energy drink. For a girl whose body language was all over the place, she seemed less lively this morning.
With some effort, Bakugo finally got Midoriya to quiet down and eat breakfast. It was even a joy at how Bakugo also made soba for me, just the way I liked it. Not too mushy that the texture was off. Just cold enjoy that you could tell it was cooked not that long ago. And it had just the right amount of seasoning that it was hard not to ask for seconds. Whatever magic Bakugo does in the kitchen was always amazing.
Once all three of us finished getting dressed, we headed out. Midoriya still asked why Bakugo dragged him out of a deep sleep this morning. “Oh, shut up, nerd. You’ll find out soon enough.” Thanks to our agreement yesterday, Bakugo agreed to not call the green hair Deku. It wasn’t until we got on the bus that Bakugo seemed to relax. Even Midoriya seemed to settled. That was another thing that always confused me.
“Do you two not enjoy the company of our classmates?”
They both looked at me before looking at each other. The way Midoriya's shoulders fell before he gave a small smile was troubling. “I don’t think that’s the case.”
I then watched as Bakugo started to scratch the back of his head while looking at Midoriya. When he finally looked up at me, is when I noticed a slightly sad expression. Those don’t happen often. At that, I only witness them when it’s just us three. “It’s hard to explain, Todoroki.” At the sound of my name Midoriya quickly looked up at Bakugo. But instead of speaking he looked over at me with a huge smile. He was being very cute. Times like this I agree with Bakugo on how Midoriya cheeks looks like strawberries.
The rest of the ride to the mall was quiet between us, but it was enjoyable. Especially with how Midoriya hummed and wiggled in his seat. I believe people called that some form of dancing in place. Regardless, he was overall acting adorable. So much so that I couldn’t help record him here and there. And when we finally got to the mall, I watched as Midoriya excitedly bounced up and down. At that, he squeal while shaking his hands and looking between me and Bakugo. “Why are we at the mall?”
Bakugo just made Midoriya to turn around. While walking around, it was fun watching the green hair boy get excited. At that, he grabbed both Bakugo’s and my arm and dragged us to the comic store that was on the ground floor. This was so much fun. We went about looking at comics until we all settled on a few that we wish we could take with us. “I still got my old man’s credit card.” The look they gave me was pure evil.
It didn’t take us long to go from one shop to another buying whatever we wanted. But Bakugo didn’t let either of Midoriya or me get a certain item. “Come on, Kacchan! It’s a sleeveless, All Might hoodie! I need it!”
“I second that motion!” We poked Bakugo’s face and watched how his eyes kept twitching. “If we find one in each of our sizes, we could all match.”
“This is stupid.” Even though he had what seemed to be an angry face, the left corner of his mouth twitch. Which usually meant he was fighting back a smile. And that’s how I knew he gave in about saying no to our demands. Soon all three of us walked out the shop with matching hoodies and sneakers. “I pick the next shop.”
Bakugo dragged us to a shop that had a black sign. At that, the lights inside gave off a dark atmosphere with its gold and reds. The clothes inside I had never seen in person before, but I recognized them from some of the comics Bakugo let me borrow. But what shocked me was the person behind the corner. I couldn’t tell if they were male or female. All I knew was that what they wore looked so interesting. I then quickly went in search where the other two were.
I wasn’t surprised that Bakugo was holding skirts up to Midoriya. “Just why, Kacchan?” Even though Midoriya sounded like he was whining, his face didn’t match. In fact, he looked embarrassed. Especially with the green bunny ears on his head. He then looked up and we locked eyes. “Help me, Todoroki.”
I couldn’t help take a picture before walking over. I looked at the skirts Bakugo held before grabbing one myself. “This one.”
“Good choice, Todoroki.” I then watched as Midoriya’s eyes grow before we pushed him into the changing room. It didn’t matter what combination of skirts, shirts, and pants we had him try, he was still so cute. Before long we left that shop with almost everything we picked out. And when Midoriya wasn’t looking me and Bakugo picked out a set of bracelets. One was black with orange design. While the other was black with red and white tiny spikes. We hid those in our respected pockets after paying.
While we walked the next floor, I spotted a photo booth. But before I could say something, Midoriya was dragging us over. Once we were inside, we realized how small it was. Me and Bakugo looked at each other and just nodded. Without a word we picked up Midoriya and set him on our lap. “Whaaa.”
After taking photos, Midoriya whole head was red. Even his neck shared the color. He even kept from looking at us. But that didn’t stop me and Bakugo to drag Midoriya to the food court. It was so cute how Midoriya would make a mess while eating. Me and Bakugo couldn’t stop ourselves from taking endless pictures. That’s when the large ice cream we ordered came. I looked to Bakugo again and we nodded. “Happy Birthday!”
The look of shock Midoriya gave us was amazing. Especially when he tried to hide his face with his hoodie. “But… but… My… birth… birthday isn’t… is… isn’t till Monday.”
“We know.” Once Midoriya spotted violently shaking in his seat, Bakugo and I each grabbed a spoon. “Now, say Ah, nerd.” It was cute as me and Bakugo each took turns feeding the ice cream to Midoriya, along with taking our own bites. Today was just perfect.
After the whole ice cream thing we decided to finally head back to the dorms. And as we walked to the bus stop Midoriya had yet to stop blushing. Even Bakugo had a large grin on his face. With that, I took a picture of the two. It was already rare to see Bakugo fully smile without looking ready to fight. So, it made everything perfect. “Wait!” I looked down to Midoriya and he had his phone out. “I want a picture of all three of us.”
“Such a nerd.” Before I could say anything, I was having my head pushed against Midoriya. All three of us smiled into the camera, as Bakugo took our photo. “There you go, idiot.”
“Are you not able to saying anything nice to him? Just this once, Bakugo.”
Bakugo let out a sigh, before pinching Midoriya’s right cheek. “Good job today, Izuku.”
The look on Midoriya’s face was priceless. But I refuse to ruin it by taking a photo. He then processed to cry and hug Bakugo. Now, that I took a picture of. And I was then quickly drawn into the hug. “Today was the best day ever!” Once we got on the bus, me and Bakugo decided to finally get out the bracelets. “What is this for?”
“It’s your birthday gift, nerd.” We each processed to attached our bracelets to Midoriya’s left wrist. He even started to tear up as we did so. “I knew you would like it.”
Midoriya stared at the bracelets as he tried to wipe away his tears. “I absolutely love it. I’m never taking them off.” I don’t understand why but hearing those words my made my chest feel tight. It wasn’t a bad feeling. More like a very pleasant and joyful sensation. I like it. Hopefully I could feel this feeling again.

Big Ocean - Repayment Fes of Thinking and Being Thought Of 1
Author: Nishioka Maiko (with Akira)
Characters: Hinata, Yuuta, Tetora
Translator: Mika Enstars
"I mean more like, how I don’t think your udon is supposed to be redder than tantan noodles?"
Season: Winter
Location: Yumenosaki Academy Garden Terrace
Tumblr media
Hinata: Hmm~, wherever I look, there’s people everywhere.
Yuuta: It seems to be no good over there, Aniki. Not a single spot open. What about over there? See any spots?
Hinata: Looks rough over here too, Yuuta-kun~. Every spot already seems to be taken, there’s no empty seats.
Yuuta: I see. Well, there’s nothing we can do… we were in the staff room, so we were late coming out to the garden terrace. Maybe a spot will open up if we wait a little longer?
Tetora: He~y, Hinata-kun, Yuuta-kun!
Hinata & Yuuta: Hm?
Tumblr media
Tetora: Here, over here!
Hinata: It’s Tetsu-kun!
Tumblr media
Hinata & Yuuta: Ossu~☆
Tetora: ‘Sup~! Ahaha, you guys really are like twins~! The way you turned around at the same time was too good!
Are you guys lookin’ for somewhere to sit? You guys kept looking around, so I figured that might’ve been the case.
If you’d like, how ‘bout sharin’ a table with me?
Hinata: Eh, is that really alright!? You’ve saved us~! ♪
Yuuta: There were no more spots left when we arrived at the garden terrace, so we were in a pinch~!
Tetora: I sure am glad I called out t’ya guys, then!
I’ll save your spots here so go and order your food sooner than later. It’s pretty busy over there too.
Hinata: Ah, good point. Let’s go then, Yuuta-kun!
Yuuta: ‘Kay.
Tumblr media
Time passes…
Tetora: Hmm? Oh, welcome back you two. That sure took a while, huh?
Yuuta: Uu~… Even though I chose the instant udon with deep-fried tofu, it still took ages to get to me…
Ah, Aniki. Could you pass the shichimi pepper?
Hinata: Okay~☆ Here ya go. The line to order food was long to begin with, so it was unavoidable, wasn’t it?
Tetora: Hmm. Yuuta-kun got udon with deep-fried tofu and Hinata-kun got curry, huh? I don’t think I’ve had either of those recently, actually~.
Hinata: Oh, whats this? Are you eying our food? Want a bite?
Tetora: Oh, no no, it’s not like that.
I just thought that maybe I should order it sometime, since I usually just end up getting the kalbi meal for whatever reason.
Yuuta: I imagine you usually end up ordering the kalbi, katsudon, or ginger pork to eat~!
Tetora: Uu… Right on the mark. That’s usually what I end up getting~… I’m a little peeved that I’m so predictable, it feels like I’m not fresh or interesting enough.
Hinata: Eh~, you’re fine! You have a routine. There’s tranquility in that.
Tetora: You think? I wanna try all sorts of things though~. But the meat… The meat calls me…!
Yuuta: Ahaha. Y’know, you’re very meat-y, Tetora-kun!
Tetora: ……
Actually, you’ve been sprinkling shichimi on your food while chatting for a long time now. Haven’t you put enough on?
Yuuta: Eh? Ah, right.
The inner lid always gets in the way. It’s difficult since only a tiny bit comes out at a time. I never end up putting enough on.
Tetora: I’m not commenting on not much is coming out, though…? If only a small amount comes out, it means that the inner lid’s doing its job!
I mean more like, how I don’t think your udon is supposed to be redder than tantan noodles?
Yuuta: Really? I still don’t feel like it’s enough, though…
Well, my udon will just grow soggy at this point, so might as well give up and eat it as is. Thanks for the food~! ♪
Tetora: I can feel my mouth burn just by watching…!
Tumblr media
Hinata: Uwah!?
…Ah, don’t worry about it. I’m alright~
Tetora: You good, Hinata-kun? There’s so many people right now that you got bumped into~.
Yuuta: There’s always way too many people out here at noon. Actually, don’t you feel its worse than usual today?
Hinata: Hmm… I guess there’s not really any units out doing work. So everyone’s here at school instead… maybe?
Tetora: I do know that not too many units go out of their way doing work around this time of year~.
Like, it’s about time for the Repayment Festival, right? So I guess they’re all busy preparing for that?
Hinata: Ah, that’s true.
Tetora: We at RYUSEITAI get to take it a bit easy, since we don't have any third years.

Hinata: I see. Well, 2wink is just Yuuta-kun and I, so~…
Tetora: But you have Oogami-senpai in the Light Music Club, yeah? I’m sure you’re indebted to Otogari-senpai too.

Hinata: Yup, that’s right! That’s why we’re both fired up! Right, Yuuta-kun?
Yuuta: Yup, right.

-gently deposits a bag of mora in his hand- "Your allowance. Take it." -And a sneaky headpat- [ei. I SEE THE MAMA UWUUU VIBES ARE STRONG TODAY]

Tumblr media
"Tsk," he goes out of his way to come see her for once and of course the first thing out of her mouth gets on his nerves. He looks at the bag of mora on his hand with half the mind to throw it back at her, but he votes against it and instead his grip on the bag hardens as if he's attempting to pop a balloon in his hold. "I did not come to you for mora," but whatever, she already gave it to him so he may as well keep it. She is... far more odd than he is, he will give her that and as someone who's attempting to make some sort of amends for his actions he can notice it from others as well. She is no exception, he knows what she's doing, but Tetsuya remains as stubborn as he always has, as he always is. Being part of the Akademiya now has unfortunately brought up the subject of Inazuma often to the forefront of his mind since he has much to say about this... land, and by extension, annoyingly so, she too comes to mind. And how she's made ridiculous attempts to fix the bridge between them.
Tetsuya places the bag of mora she gave him away and then reaches into his kimono to bring out a box adorned with a mere blue bow on top of it. "Here," this is an exchange now, he's not giving her anything, he's not gifting her anything, they're exchanging. She gave him mora, so he's giving her something in return for that mora. Inside the box is a talisman, said talisman is in a chain and shaped like a bell, it can serve as a necklace or something to have chained up on a weapon, or adorned on someone's body. There is meaning behind the talisman, it is said to keep the one who wears it safe, but he's not about to tell her that and not like he believes it either, so what does that matter? "Take it." He demands before a small amount of heat rises to his cheeks which he can feel and thus makes his semi-pleasant face turn into a slight frown.
Tumblr media
"... Not that this is any of your concern, but I have found a partner and... I have been with her for months now. She is... expecting my child." That wasn't in his plans today, this was completely impulsive, why did he tell her that for? His mouth began to move and words began to come out without his consent! Deep down he knows why, but he's not going to dig through it right now, less he ruins more of his mood. "Will you take the damn gift already?" His face now slightly more redder than before, shoving the box to her chest for her keeping.

they were each other’s first everything. first love, first kiss, first date.
(read under the cut)
The first “I like you” and “I love you” uttered between the both of them were after a practice session, when Koga and Adonis stayed behind to clean up the practice room.
Adonis had sought out advice from Arashi on how exactly he should go about confessing his romantic feelings. The blonde stared at Adonis before gushing about all sorts of things, even trying to guess who was the one that had stolen the boy’s heart.
“Is it Koga-chan? From your unit? Oh my god, it is, right?” Arashi exclaimed, and Adonis couldn’t fight the flush that settled on his cheeks. He felt a little lightheaded, a dizzying feeling rising from the pit of his stomach at the mere mention of Koga’s name. Adonis opened his mouth to speak, but he couldn’t really make out any words to say.
“To be honest, it was obvious from how much you stare at him during class~” Arashi mused. She then proceeded to ask question after question, saying things like, “When did you realise you liked him?”, “What exactly do you like about him?”, or “The both of you look so cute together as is!” and Adonis, ever the patient one, earnestly answered each and every one of her questions with honest answers. Once Arashi felt as though she had gotten enough juicy information from Adonis, she gave the boy advice on how to confess. Adonis listened attentively, making sure he wouldn’t miss out on any important information. “Ultimately, as long as you’re honest about your feelings, it will go well.” Arashi smiled. “Just be yourself! That is better than any other advice I can give you.” Adonis nodded before thanking his clubmate for her time.
“I can just hope that it goes well.” Adonis remarked.
“Mmh, I’m sure it will be fine! Good luck, Adonis-chan~”
The setting sun that day casted the sky in a brilliant orange colour. It made Adonis feel warm, a fuzzy feeling blossoming in his chest, giving him the confidence he needed to take the first step in confessing his feelings towards his unitmate, his best friend.
It was Adonis who first said it, his voice shaking ever so slightly despite him mentally giving himself a pep talk beforehand. He grabbed Koga’s arm, causing the other boy to turn back to look at him. Koga tilted his head, opening his mouth to start questioning Adonis when the taller boy blurted out, “I like you, Oogami.”
Koga blinked, before giving Adonis a smile. “I like ya’ too, we’re best buddies aren't we?” Koga exclaimed at Adonis, and Adonis didn't know whether to just forget it or to just burst into tears.
His lips moved faster than his brain worked. “I mean, in a more-than-friends way.” Adonis stated in a matter-of-fact manner. “I’m in love with you…” His face felt hot, and his voice trailed off but he made sure his expression remained firm. He could at least look confident, even if he did not feel like it.
Koga silently stared at Adonis, his face getting redder as the seconds ticked by. He seemed to be slowly absorbing the sentence, and the more he lets it sink in, the more flustered he starts to get. Koga averted his eyes, because he felt as though if he continued to look into Adonis’ eyes he would just spontaneously combust.
Adonis let go of Koga’s arm. He was the first one to speak up, breaking the silence between them. “I’m sorry if it made you uncomfortable, you can just forget-”
“Shut up!” Koga blurted out. “You…you just confessed to me, didn’t ya!” He continued, feeling his cheeks heat up. “I wasn’t uncomfortable or whatever with what you said, so don’t just go decidin’ what I’m feelin’ for me!”
Adonis blinked. Koga took a step forward, getting closer to the other boy. He made eye contact with Adonis, opening his mouth to say, “I like you too. In the same way you do.” Adonis’ heart pounded against his chest, almost as if it was going to jump out of his chest. But he was happy. He wasn’t anxious or nervous like he was just moments ago, he was relieved and elated.
“Oogami…” Adonis started, moving closer to Koga, to the point where there wasn’t any space between their bodies. “Are…are you serious? Do you really…“
“Yes! Do I look like the type to, I dunno, lie about my feelings or somethin’ stupid like that…” Koga cut Adonis off, making eye contact with him after what felt like an eternity. Adonis could tell that Koga was blushing and flustered, his rosy cheeks told Adonis as much.
“I love you.” Adonis smiled, he was beaming, Koga could practically see the rays of sun around his face. “Can I hug you?” He asked politely, watching as Koga mumbled a soft “Yea” and nodding. Love bloomed in Adonis’ chest and threatened to spill out of his body. He wanted to give Koga every praise under the sun, kiss every blemish on his skin, and give him all the love the world has to offer, but for now, he just wrapped his arms around Koga’s frame. Koga nuzzled into Adonis’ neck, moving his arms to wrap around Adonis’ body and closing his eyes as he felt Adonis gently rest his chest on top of his head.
The shorter boy mumbled something into Adonis’ neck, and though Adonis didn’t properly hear what it was, he could make out words like “love” and “too”. It was easy to piece together what Koga was saying. (He was reciprocating Adonis’ words, saying a quiet “I love you too.”)
Adonis thought he couldn’t love Koga more than he already did, but at that moment, his heart swelled with boundless love for the boy he was embracing, so much love that it is unable to be contained within his body so he spills it all out by squeezing Koga tighter.
Koga made a wheezing sound. “Ya squeezing the life out of me! Loosen up a bit!” He yelled. Adonis quickly let Koga go, worried that he may have unintentionally hurt Koga. “I’m sorry, I got carried away…Are you okay?” Adonis spoke, his voice tinged with worry, his face full of worry. He looked like a sad puppy almost, Koga thought to himself. Endearing and cute, but it’s also a heartbreaking expression. Koga didn’t like that. “ ‘m fine! Just don’t squeeze so tight next time, or else you’re gonna like, suffocate me!” Koga said. “ ’S not like I’m gonna fly or slip away or somethin’ like that..” His voice trailed off, realising how embarrassing the words coming out of his mouth were. His cheeks heat up for the nth time that day. “We still have to clean up the practice room! Let’s get this done with so we can get the fuck out of here.”
Koga turned around to carry on the task he was previously doing. “And we can, uhm, grab dinner together, y’know, before heading home.”
Adonis blinked, before smiling and picking up a broom, the promise of a dinner with Koga seeming to motivate him to get his task done as soon as possible.
(Arashi demanded to find out the results of Adonis’ confession the next time they met. Adonis tried his best to keep details vague.)
——
Their first kiss happened after a particularly passionate performance, shortly after the confession. It was an extremely hyper performance, all of UNDEAD went all out. The presence on stage was at an all time high, the four of them singing their hearts out, singing, performing like the world was going to end. Passion seeped through every pore of their bodies that night, and adrenaline was pumped in their veins.
When the live had reached its end, Koga and Adonis were ushered into their shared dressing room. The high from the adrenaline rush on stage had yet to dissipate, Koga felt like a firework that hadn’t finished showing off its colours to everyone, like a big blazing flame that was yet to be put out.
Maybe that was what pushed Koga to push against Adonis, his arms pressed against Adonis’ chest, pressing his lips against Adonis’, tasting the flavour of the other boy’s chapstick. Adonis froze up, he wasn’t sure what to do, but he wrapped his arms around Koga’s body and kissed Koga back, not quite matching Koga’s roughness and haste, but no less passionate in his own regard. The kiss started out messy, their teeth clacking together, but it eventually settled into something gentler, something more intimate.
Koga’s lips were chapped, dry, a far cry from Adonis’ soft ones but it was perfect. Adonis thought everything about him, even his flaws, was perfect. They made Koga the person he is, the person he loved. They parted after a while, both of them panting, gasping for some relief amidst the passionate, heated moment.
Koga was the first one to move, he got off of Adonis, his cheeks rosy, though Adonis couldn’t tell if it was because they had just had their first kiss or if it was because of the temperature in the dressing room. Koga cleared his throat. “Sorry for just kissin’ you like that without askin’ first.” He spoke softly, his tone apologetic. “It just kinda…felt right. Y’know, heat of the moment kinda thing.”
Adonis gave a small smile. For some reason, it was heartwarming to him that Koga kissing him felt right. It felt like a natural inclination for the other boy when he was high from the adrenaline pumping in his veins. “It’s okay. You don’t have to ask to kiss me, Oogami.” Adonis spoke softly. “Because you are my boyf-” Koga quickly jumped, swiftly bringing his mouth to Adonis’ mouth, muffling his voice. If Koga’s cheeks were rosy after they had kissed, then this time his face was bright red. His golden eyes were wide and he looked incredibly flustered. The words ‘endearing’ and ‘cute’ bounced around in his head to describe how Koga looked at that very moment.
“Not so loud! What if..other people walked past and heard you?” He exclaimed. “I can’t even begin to imagine what that damn vampire would say. Or, worse,” Koga visibly shivered. “Hakaze…senpai.” The last name was said through gritted teeth. Koga backed away from Adonis, bringing his hands up to ruffle his own hair.
“Ugh!! It’s terrifying just thinkin’ ‘bout it…!” He yelled in frustration. Adonis moved closer to Koga, gently rubbing the small of Koga’s back. Koga relaxed into Adonis’ touch, though he was still grumbling under his breath.
“I apologise. I’ll mind my volume in the future.” Adonis spoke softly, and Koga turned around to face him. He stared at Adonis for a few seconds before averting his gaze again.
“So how was it?” He asked, his voice small and quiet. The blush from just now never dissipated but rather than from embarrassment, this time it was because he was flustered. “The kiss…I meant.” He added, just in case he was not being clear in his initial question.
“I thought it was nice…You tasted like mint.” Adonis answered, a gentle smile gracing his features. “I liked the kiss. It did feel right.”
Koga grumbled something under his breath, looking away, because if he kept on staring at him, he might just spontaneously combust on the spot, especially after everything Adonis just said.
A knock on the door was heard, shocking the pair, Koga jumped out of Adonis’ arms and he turned to the door. A soft female voice spoke. “Adonis, Koga, are you both okay? There was a lot of noise and you have been in there for a long time…” Anzu asked, probably worried that the both of them may have fallen down or something to that effect.
“We’re fine!” Koga answered loudly. “We…just knocked some stuff over! We’re still a lil’ hyperactive from the performance.”
Anzu was silent for a moment. “Okay. Just be careful, you shouldn’t be getting hurt.” She spoke.
“Mhmm, yep we will be careful! You go do ya own thing, we’ll get dressed and be out in a bit!” Koga responded. Anzu stayed silent for a bit, seemingly hesitant. She made a small sound of acknowledgement. Adonis and Koga watched under the door as her shadow slowly disappeared from the door.
Koga visibly and audibly heaved a huge sigh of relief. “We should…probably actually get dressed.” Adonis spoke, after Koga calmed himself down. The other boy looked at him, his cheeks still slightly pink, before he nodded and straightened himself up.
When they had gotten dressed and met up with the rest, Koga could’ve sworn Kaoru gave a sort of look to Rei, who only smirked in response. Koga knew Rei catches onto things really quickly, it’s almost scary how observant he can be sometimes, but there was no way they already knew! Koga was just overthinking.
(They already knew.)
——
The first time Adonis had to leave for another country due to his solo activities was right around Christmas. Koga had been the one to send Adonis off at the airport. Koga was never one for public displays of affection, even if they hugged or held hands in public, it would end as soon as it had started. “I just don’t want people to…say things.” was what Koga would always say. And he was right, the both of them were idols with an image to uphold and project, and a fanbase to cater to. What would the media say if they were caught in an intimate embrace? How will their fans react? What will Anzu need to do to clean up the mess they created?
But when they hugged in the airport, Koga hugged a little tighter, stayed in Adonis’ arms a little longer. Almost as if he was afraid that once he lets go, Adonis will disappear, like a fleeting touch, a touch that lasts for a split second, or like dust in the wind. Adonis liked it, he felt like that was Koga’s way to tell him to stay. “Just a little while longer.” and “I wished you didn’t have to go.” were sentiments that were not expressed verbally, but conveyed through Koga’s actions.
Koga had begrudgingly let go, and he nuzzled his face into his own scarf, one that Adonis had lovingly got for him. They both stayed silent, watching each other’s breaths in the winter air. Adonis was the first one to break the silence.
“I’ll be back in two weeks.” He spoke and Koga scoffed, mumbling a quiet “I know that, stupid.”
“Take care of yourself, okay! I don't want you to return to me injured or somethin’, get it! If you do, I’ll beat ya ass.” Koga grumbled. Though his words were harsh, Adonis knew they held no real weight. ‘Return to me’, Koga had said, Adonis realised. Not ‘return here’ or even ‘return to us’. ‘To me.’ Adonis felt a warm fuzzy feeling erupt from his chest.
“I know, I will be sure to take good care of myself, you won’t have to worry.”
“Tch, who said I was worried?” Koga scoffed, insistent on keeping his tough guy act up. “The plane’s leavin’ soon. You should go before you really miss your flight.”
“Oh, you’re right. Goodbye then, Oogami. See you in two weeks.” Adonis smiled, before turning around and rushing away to catch his flight. Koga fidgeted a little, watching as Adonis’ figure got smaller and smaller as he departed. He let out one last huff, before turning around and leaving the airport.
In the days to come, he diligently counted the days until Adonis would return, but like hell, would he let anyone find out, not Rei, not Kaoru, and especially not Adonis. He would just straight up die if anyone were to ever find out just how much Koga, the lone wolf of UNDEAD, actually misses his boyfriend. And he didn’t just miss Adonis, Koga thought about Adonis at every waking hour. From the moment he opened his eyes to the moment his head hit the pillows, not a minute passes where Koga didn’t think about Adonis, even if it was just a fleeting thought. Even after long calls with Adonis, sometimes video calls where Koga could clearly see Adonis’ hotel room, Koga would still find himself longing to hear more of Adonis’ voice, wishing to see more of Adonis’ face, wanting to be as close to Adonis as physically possible.
As the fateful day drew closer, Koga found himself unable to sleep, constantly tossing and turning in his bed at night, to the point where Leon had to move from sleeping with Koga on his bed, to sleeping on the floor. Tatsumi even had to ask if Koga was alright, in the middle of the night.
He felt helpless, and was more moody than usual. If this was what it would be like every time Adonis was not around, he would rather Adonis just never leave his side. But he couldn’t be so selfish. Koga was not the only person who needed Adonis. UNDEAD needed Adonis, his family needed Adonis, the track club needed Adonis. There was an entire world that needed Adonis, Koga could not just keep Adonis forever to himself, no matter how hard he tried or wished. What he could do, however, was channel all these negative feelings into the only form of art he knew — music. So that’s exactly what he did, fingers strumming his electric guitar, alone in the practice room where Adonis and Koga would practice together after school.
When Adonis landed, Koga was the first person he saw at the airport. Koga held out his arms when he spotted Adonis, inviting him into a warm, inviting embrace. Adonis had nearly dropped everything right then and there just to rush into Koga’s arms. Adonis squeezed Koga tightly, just like he had when they first confessed, except this time Koga did not protest. He simply returned Adonis’ squeeze, he was just happy to be back in Adonis’ arms once again.
Maybe Koga could allow himself to be selfish, even just for a short while, before the world calls for Adonis once again. “...Do you want to sleep with me in my dorm tonight? Kazehaya-senpai won’t be back until sunrise…” He asked in a quiet voice, as they walked back to ES, hand in hand.
Adonis could feel his heart flutter as his chest filled with love threatening to combust. “Yes…Also I have a question, if you don’t mind me asking.”
“Shoot.”
“Did you miss me? At all?”
Koga’s cheeks flared red, and he averted his eyes away from Adonis’. “No. Why would I miss you? We called almost every day.” He scoffed, holding his head up high. He had an image to project, and if Koga didn’t tell him the truth, Adonis would be none the wiser.
“Sakuma-senpai was texting me…” Adonis spoke, and Koga whipped his head around to just stare straight at Adonis, his eyes wide. “He told me a lot of things.”
“About what?” Koga asked, his voice unusually higher pitched. “What did he tell you about?”
“About UNDEAD’s activities for the past two weeks.” Adonis said. “And about you.”
Koga could feel the temperature rise, despite it still being winter. “W-What? ‘M gonna kill that fucking vampire!” Koga chided, beginning to list out ways he would make sure Rei suffers for the rest of his living life.
Adonis smiled, and he just held up Koga’s hand, pressing a soft kiss to it. “If it makes you feel better, I miss you a lot too.” Adonis softly spoke. Koga looked away, feeling as though if he were to look at Adonis he would just explode on the spot.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” He huffed, and continued walking towards their intended destination, hands still interlocked with Adonis’.
Deep down, Koga knew it wasn’t just whatever, but he couldn’t exactly pinpoint what he was feeling. Maybe it was relief that Adonis had missed him just as Koga had, maybe it was the thought that whenever Koga thought about Adonis, the other boy was thinking the same about him. That made Koga’s stomach do flips, his heart beating with love, and he expressed that love by holding Adonis’ hand tighter. He hoped Adonis knew that he didn’t regard Adonis’ feelings as just ‘whatever’, he just could never find it in himself to express his feelings with his words. He hoped his actions were enough to tell Adonis that Koga did miss him a lot, as much as, if not more than Adonis did.
The both of them woke up the next morning to Koga’s alarm, their limbs tangled with one another. Leon was also bouncing on the bed and licking their faces. Koga was the first one to get up from the bed, moving to prepare Leon’s food while Adonis continued to slumber. He looked so peaceful, sleeping so soundly, Koga thought. Koga wondered what Adonis was dreaming about. Maybe he was dreaming about having a barbeque, or maybe he was dreaming about performing with UNDEAD. Koga liked to think Adonis was dreaming about the both of them, living together with Leon, an idyllic existence away from idol life. Adonis seemed like the type to want to live a normal life once he settled down, Koga thought.
Koga wasn’t quite sure what he wanted after he were to settle down with Adonis, but for now, he’s just focused on his career, on his music, and as long as Adonis is there with him every step of the way, he would be okay with anything.
——
They celebrated their first anniversary by going to a summer festival. Adonis was invited by Arashi. “You can totally bring Koga-chan along!” Arashi had excitedly suggested. “We’re all most likely going to split up anyways, you can go on a lovely date with him~” Adonis’ cheeks flushed pink at the mention of “Koga” and “date”, but he just answered with, “I’ll ask him.”
Arashi giggled, “Alright~ Just give me an answer by the end of the week!”
Koga scoffed at Adonis’ question, but he agreed, saying that he was only going just because he had nothing to do that day and it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Adonis had casually mentioned Arashi’s remarks and his mind was promptly going into overdrive just thinking about a summer festival date with Adonis.
“Do I look fine?” Adonis asked Arashi for the nth time in that hour, dressed in a yukata that Souma had kindly helped him wear. He was anxious, constantly fiddling with his sleeves.
The girl gave a heavy sigh. “You look just fine. Don’t worry, once Koga-chan comes he will be so enamoured with you that he won’t even be able to speak.”
“Nngh, I think you look good, Otogari-kun.” Mika piped up. “All of us can agree on that, ain’t that right, Ayase-kun?”
“H-Huh?” Mayoi gasped, shocked at the mention of his name. He took a short look at Adonis. “Uuu, Otogari-san looks great…” He shied away from Adonis’ gaze, opting instead to meekly peek from behind Mika.
“See, we all agree that you look fine. So you don’t have to keep asking every minute!” Arashi exasperatedly remarked.
“Adonis!” Koga’s voice called out, and Adonis promptly turned around towards the source of his voice. His eyes landed on Koga, who was also wearing a yukata, just as Adonis was. The both of them stared at each other in stunned silence, probably mentally gushing about how good the other person looked in a yukata.
Arashi giggled. “Well now that Koga-chan is here, we’ll take our leave! Have fun~” She waved goodbye before walking off to the festival with Mika and Mayoi trailing behind her. Now it was only Koga and Adonis standing outside the festival, both of them silent as they tried to find the words to say to each other. You look amazing, Adonis wanted to say. Beautiful, gorgeous, stunning.
“You look amazing, Oogami.” Adonis complimented, and Koga just cleared his throat, running his hand through his hair.
“You look amazin’ too.” Koga mumbled, realising that he has never really seen Adonis in a yukata before, and he wondered if he got any help with wearing it. Koga himself had to bite down on his pride, and asked Kaoru for help. And that blonde bastard had the balls to tease Koga! “Uwah, our little Koga-kun wants to look good for his boyfriend! How adorable~” Kaoru gushedHe did eventually help Koga with his yukata though. But just thinking about all that Kaoru said was enough to give him shivers. He’ll make sure Kaoru regrets ever teasing Koga later, but for now, he had a summer festival date with Adonis to look forward to. “Uh, we should get going! ‘M sure you wouldn’t wanna miss the fireworks later.” Adonis nodded, and held out his hand for Koga to hold. Koga blinked at his gesture, but before he could speak, Adonis piped up, “There’s a lot of people here, I don’t want to lose you.” Koga’s cheeks flared red.
“Wha-! How can you just say things like that with a straight face?” Koga spluttered, flustered. Regardless, he still took Adonis’ hand and they walked together, hand in hand into the festival.
The festival went by fast for both of them. Between blurs of buying snacks from the stalls and playing various games, all that really mattered was that both of them were having fun and enjoying themselves. They had found a quiet spot away from the festival, atop a hill where the fireworks could be seen in their full glory. Adonis had placed all the soft toys that they (mostly Koga) won from the games on the ground beside them. They even managed to snag a goldfish that Adonis said he was going to
“Did you have fun today?” Adonis asked as Koga put a takoyaki into his mouth.
“Yea, I had lots of fun.” Koga said, smiling as he picked up another takoyaki and bringing it towards Adonis’ mouth. Adonis opened his mouth to eat the takoyaki that the other boy had so lovingly offered. “What ‘bout you?”
Adonis smiled. “I had fun too, thanks to you.”
“Tch.” Koga turned away from Adonis. Adonis fiddled with something, before pulling out two small keychains, one of a wolf and the other, a bear.
“Why’d ya get those for?” Koga asked, watching as Adonis handed him the wolf keychain.
“It just reminded me of us. You know, you’re the wolf and I’m the bear.” He answered. “I also…” He reached into his sleeve, before pulling out two plastic rings. “Today’s our first anniversary. And…I’m aware these rings are just toys, but I would love to get you an actual one someday, so stay with me at least until I can get you the actual ring.” He spoke, slipping the ring onto Koga’s left ring finger. Just then, the fireworks started, exploding in a beautiful array of colours in the sky.
Koga’s eyes stayed glued onto Adonis’ form, watching as the ring was put on his finger. The fireworks in the sky seemed to be exactly what he was feeling at that moment. The sounds of the fireworks in the background matched the sound of the pounding in his chest.
“A-are you proposin’ to me right now?” Koga blurted out, his face flushing red.
Adonis gave a small sound. “Did it..Did it seem that way?” he asked.
“What kinda question is that? Yes, it did seem like you were proposing t’ me, otherwise I wouldn’t be askin’ you.” Koga chided.
Adonis stayed silent for a while, still holding onto Koga’s hand. “Yes, I am proposing to you.” He spoke. “Would you like to spend the rest of your life with me, Oogami?”
Koga could feel steam coming out of his ears at this point. How could Adonis look so calm when saying those words? Here Koga is, feeling as though he was just about to combust on the spot but Adonis just stared at him, an earnest look, awaiting Koga’s answer.
“I want to have more anniversaries with you, go to sleep with you beside me and wake up with you beside me. I want to perform with you for the rest of my life, make more music with you. Even if you say no now, I’ll wait and stay by your side.” Adonis continued, still holding Koga’s hand. The sounds of the exploding fireworks were drowned out entirely by Adonis’ voice and Koga just takes in all of Adonis’ words. There was sincerity in his words that Koga wholeheartedly believed in. But more than that, he wanted the same things that Adonis did, he didn’t want this anniversary to be the last one they spend together.
“I-”
“Stop.” Koga spoke. “Gosh, how can you say such…mushy things with a straight face like that…” He pulled back his hand from Adonis, holding it up to show him the ring that Adonis just put on him. “I let you put the ring on my finger, didn’t I? I think you already know the answer.”
Adonis smiled, the kind of smile that would warm anyone’s heart. Koga’s heart made a leap. “I’m glad, Oogami.” He said. “I love you.” Koga took the other ring from Adonis, and now it was his turn to put the ring onto Adonis’ finger.
“I love you too.” Koga responded once he was done slipping the ring on, and they leaned closer into each other, pressing their lips together in a tender kiss, a seal to the agreement that they made that day, atop that hill. The fireworks painted a colourful backdrop behind them. They were each other’s firsts, first love, first date, first kiss, and now they will be each other’s forever and always, just as the rings that sit on their fingers signifies.

Y/n had always observed Sirius from afar since their first year, watching as he slowly made friends and started to pull out pranks with the Marauders. She loved those pranks so much, she liked how they were having fun without hurting anyone- or didn’t mean to.
But Y/n was far too scared to talk to him, he was so loud and extroverted whereas she was quiet and for some people, she was barely existing. She was shy and it was even worse when it came to him, she only talked to him once- well he was in front of her and she just stood there, blushing.
She still remembered that day. She was in her own world, pacing in the library as she walked into someone and fell to the ground “Fuck” someone swore as their held out their hand for her to take. The girl didn’t look up before getting up. Her eyes finally landed on the boy in front of her, it was Sirius Black. She couldn’t stop the butterflies in her stomach from flying and her cheeks heating up. He chuckled watching at her flushed state before leaving.
She had to stand against the bookshelves for a few minutes before finding her normal condition again and being able to go back to study her potion work. Since then Sirius was always in her mind, she had the biggest crush ever on him. Maybe because he was the complete opposite of her?
But today, Sirius was arguing with McGonagall because of a story of paper chewed by a dog. The boy scoffed “Minnie! Why don’t you believe me!” the professor rolled her eyes, trying to stay serious in front of him.
“Maybe because of that thing you did earlier, it starts to be a lot, Black,” she said referencing the prank they set this morning in the Gryffindor common room, all the students staying locked in the room with a putrid smell for forty minutes.
Y/n laughed as Sirius continued to defend himself. But unfortunately, her soft laughter caught the boy’s attention, he turned his head and smiled when his eyes landed on her. It was not the first time he saw her but he never remarked how pretty she was.
“Mr Black!” McGonagall scolded and he snapped back after sending the shy girl a wink, her cheeks were redder than ever. She stared down at her paper, twirling her quill between her fingers.
When the class finally came to its end and she packed her things, she turned around only to find Sirius standing in front of her. Her face immediately heated up, the boy chuckled “You’re blushing love” he smirked.
She became even redder, all her blood rushing to her head. He let out a laugh “You liked the prank this morning, Y/n?” her eyes widened, she didn’t think he knew her name since she was so discrete.
“Um… yeah” she said quietly, stuttering. Sirius leaned a little, his nose brushing with hers, she was so cute “You’re pretty when you blush, darling” he teased and Y/n’s heart missed a beat. The boy left, this damn smirk still on his lips.
Y/n was the last one to leave the classroom, McGonagall watching her walking away with a knowing smile on her face.

Two days after, Sirius saw Y/n as she was studying in the Gryffindor common room, head down, biting her quill and frowning as she didn’t understand whatever she was reading. He made his way to her silently “Watcha doing?”
Y/n jumped, surprised by the sudden presence. Sirius chuckled when she brought her hand to her heart “Defense Against Dark Arts” she whispered, flustered by the way the boy was close to her, she could feel his breath against her hair.
He pulled out the chair next to her, sat on it and read the open pages of the book. He looked up at her, slumped against the table as she was sitting straight up, tense “Can you help me? I didn’t get the subject” he did get the subject he just wanted to spend time with her, but true there were some things he didn’t completely understand.
She stared at him, eyes widened, she hated to talk one-to-one. But she wouldn’t have to talk about personal stuff and it was her crush, Sirius Black. She was not the one who will start a conversation so she had to take the chance. “O-ok” she responded even more quietly than the sentence before.
Sirius listened as she explain to him how to beat the creature the lesson was about, focusing more on the way she was annotating the book with colourful tabs and little notes and biting her quill. She finished by forgetting he was there, staring at her and started to talk a little louder.
“Thank you, love” he got up when the little session was over. He started to leave before turning back on his tracks, he leaned forward, his lips against her cheekbone “We’ll do this again whenever you want” he then finally get out of the room, letting alone an all shock and blush Y/n.

Two weeks after the common room study session they had the test about this subject “Everything went well?” she said quietly behind Sirius to catch his attention. He turned and was so happily surprised to find her making the first move for the first time.
He smiled “Yeah. And you?” she nodded with a little smile and started blushing when James and Remus were grinning behind Sirius. “So you’re friends?” Remus asked with a teasing smirk.
Y/n was fleeing everybody’s stare as she stuttered “Y- yeah” Sirius’ furrowed his eyebrows and hit the other boy on the shoulder “Shut up mate” he took Y/n’s arm to drag her somewhere they could be alone.
“Sorry about them” he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. She rubbed his shoulder gently “It’s okay” she reassured him, his heart was melting at the way she was looking softly at him. He shook his head, it was the first time he surprised himself thinking something like this, whether it is about her or anybody else.
During the last few days, he spent more time with her and discovered she was passing her feelings with a touch more than words.
For the following weeks, Sirius came to talk to her more and more often and she became more and more comfortable. Most of the time she would listen to him rambling about his day, only humming to let him know she was paying attention.
But one day, as she was reading, he sat next to her in silence. “What are you reading?” he asked after a few minutes, waiting for her to finish her chapter. Her eyes instantly lit up “Oh well, it’s my favourite book. It’s not the first time I read it actually” he could tell with the number of sticky notes and drawings and annotations on the paper.
“What is it about?” she let her head fall on Sirius’ shoulder, making him stop moving, too scared she will take off her head from his shoulder if he did. “Oh well, it talks about…” and she didn’t stop talking for long minutes, it was so easy to speak when it was Sirius who was listening “Oh sorry, I talk too much” she said quietly, apologetic.
“No! Continue. You have such a pretty voice.” and there she forgot how to talk, her voice dying in her throat. He didn’t insist that she spoke since she was at least staying by his side when she could just get up and leave.

Today they had their grade for the test, Y/n was waiting for Sirius to come out of the classroom. She sat on the cold floor before seeing him darting through the door.
She immediately smiled as she got closer to him “Thank you for helping me, darling. Got a good grade” he slid his arm around her shoulders. During the last month, Sirius learned which physical touches she was comfortable with.
“I didn’t do anything” she blushed a bright red when he ducked his head, the two of them becoming dangerously close and Sirius had to fight the urge to kiss the pink on her skin. It was now usual for him to have this sort of thought. Thoughts he never had with anyone but her.
He wished he could hold her hand as they were walking in the gardens, he wished he could kiss her for hours until he couldn’t breathe anymore, he wished he could be hers.
And these thoughts quickly became words since he once caught himself saying that he wanted her to braid his hair before a quidditch game out loud. And Godric, Remus looooved to tease him with that forever.
“My little Sirius is in love” Remus sang as he took a bite of his chocolate. Sirius didn’t even try to defend himself but buried his face in his pillow “Why is it so hard to love someone?” he said, the sound of his voice muffled by the fabric of the pillowcase.
James chuckled, finding more than relatable what his friend just said “Why don’t you just tell her?” Sirius grunted as he rolled on his bed to stare at the ceiling “I can’t! Look at her! I’m going to scare her! She’s so sweet and delicate and I’m so not!” his voice became softer and softer and his eyes in heart shape.
“And look at her! She’s so pretty! Her hair!! Did you see her eyes? I could drown in them” and he went on and on, James laughing, happy that Sirius had found someone, for him love was maybe the best thing that could happen to his best friend. Remus rolled his eyes but nevertheless listened and Peter was just reading quidditch magazines and only humming sometimes.
And after hours of consideration, he decided to ask her out, fuck it. He searched for her and found her under a weeping willow, he noticed it was her favourite place ever. He approached her and she turned her head, happy to find him. Maybe the feelings were reciprocal.
“Do you want to go on a date with me? At Hogsmeade?” he asked straightforward, she was cut off guard by his question “Oh- Um- I- I don’t know” she apologized, Hogsmeade was one of the places she avoided.
And she was also scared he didn’t have the same feelings as her and just wanted to ‘have fun’ with her. “O-oh” he was a little disappointed, was he wrong the entire time?
She rested her hand on his shoulder “Hey… It’s not you the problem. I just don’t like noisy places” she reassured him, he smiled softly “Will my dorm be okay?” Y/n’s face crumbled, it was all to drag her into his bed?
He saw the weird expression she had and his eyes widened “N-not for that!! It’s just- the boys will let us alone so we’ll just be the two of us and it’ll be calm” she grinned “Perfect!” she didn’t think before wrapping her arms around his shoulders. Sirius chuckled and let his hands against the small of her back.

Two days later, Sirius knocked at the door of her dorm “Hey, love” she joined him, even prettier than usual. They walked to his dorm, arms linked, not talking but grinning like fools.
“Ladies first,” he said as he opened the door, when she entered the room she saw everything she ever talked about. A book she said she’d love to read a week ago, her favourite muggle vinyl and her favourite candies from Honeydukes.
She looked at him in awe “How can you remember that?” she asked impressed “I don’t know” he smirked before guiding her to sit on his bed “You actually listen when I talk?” he smiled, laying down next to her to face her “Of course I do”
Y/n always found herself rambling when she felt comfortable enough to talk about something she loved and was always so scared to be annoying.
They sat on the ground, eating some chocolate chip cookies “You have some-” Sirius said and Y/n gave him a confused look “Some chocolate” he got closer and wiped the corner of her mouth with his thumb.
He let his hand on her cheek, they both stared into each other’s eyes “Is it okay if I kiss you darling?” he whispered as he take a look at every single feature of her loving face. Y/n pulled him by the collar of his shirt and closed the gap between their mouths and his eyes widened, shocked that she made the final move.
He kissed her back, pushing her to the ground, laying on top of her “You’re blushing love” he said, referencing the first sentence he ever told her. “Only you make me blush” Sirius’ smile grew bigger, surprised about how bold she could be.
“Who are you? Where’s Y/n?” he teased. The girl smiled and smacked his shoulder before pulling him in another kiss. Yeah, she’d blush during the rest of the night.
