Trains in Miraculous Ladybug - Bonus: The Bus
[Part 1: The Metro Train]
[Part 2: The Metro Station]
[Part 3: Startrain]
[Part 4: The Gare du Nord]
It’s been a while since I made these posts, but I figured I might as well update them, and talk about the remaining public transit vehicle in the show that hadn’t been mentioned yet: The bus, shown here almost in its natural habitat.
Tumblr media
Just like most other vehicles, the show has just the one, which is always signed as line 33 to Gare d'Austerlitz. The line is strictly fictional, just like the Metro lines, to justify this bus appearing everywhere in the city.
So let's talk about the bus itself. In the show, it gets thrown around, used to escape Zombies, it loses its breaks at the start of Gladiator, it's an animal prison, it receives the least destructive cataclysm of all time (in Animan) and way more. While it has no logos, and a slightly distorted front end presumably to avoid copyright infringement (yes, vehicle design is covered by copyright), it is unmistakably an Agora by… well, that's difficult actually, because this bus type has a complicated history.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First picture by Vincent Babilotte, from Wikimedia Commons, CC-BY-SA; second by Eole99, from Wikimedia Commons, CC-BY-SA
The Renault Agora was introduced in 1996 as Renault's first fully low-floor bus. In 1999, Renault Véhicules Industriels (commercial vehicles) merged their bus business with Iveco, functionally the commercial vehicle division of Fiat if you squint a bit. The new joint venture was known as Irisbus, and from 2002, the Agora became known as Irisbus Agora. Their logo is actually a dolphin ouroboros if you look closely; I have no idea why.
At the same time Renault and Irisbus were also busy buying companies in eastern europe, and reused their names, which means the Agora was also sold under such famous names (famous among bus nerds anyway) as Karosa and Ikarus in Eastern Europe. Those seem to have been co-branding things, those buses still had either the Renault Rhombus or the Irisbus dolphin on the front, and then a Karosa or Ikarus logo somewhere on the side. Some buses were also sold as Škoda (the part that makes trains, not the part that makes cars). We'll get to those later. Finally, in some countries, it was sold under the incredibly vague name "Citybus".
For Paris, we'll only care about the Renault and Irisbus versions, though. These are functionally the same, they just differ in the logo on the front, which the Miraculous bus simply omits entirely. On the inside, the Irisbus version has newer Iveco engines instead of Renault ones to meet newer emission standards, but that's irrelevant from the outside.
The main feature to recognise this bus from a distance is actually in the rear.
Tumblr media
In order to provide a flat floor from the front right to the last seating row, Renault has arranged the engine and related mechanical parts in a sort of backpack. An angled drive shaft drives the rear wheels, which are arranged as a portal axle (a design where there is a small gear set near each wheel so the axle in the middl can be higher or, in this case, lower than the wheel hubs). This design as such isn't unique to Renault; it is also found on some Scania OmniCity buses and several ones in the US, starting with the high-floor GMC Rapid Transit Series in the late 70s. What is unique about the Renault design is how it's packaged, with a gentle curve at the top.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This design actually originated with the Renault R312, the Agora's predecessor, which was semi-high-floor (a single step to get into the bus), and continued to be used by the Agora's successor, the Irisbus Citelis, starting 2006. Here's the rear of one in Liège, Belgium:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pictures by me, do what you want with them
In real life, the curve is not quite as pronounced as it is in the show, and the show has given the bus's rear end a pronounced overbite. Again, I think that's due to copyright, but that's just a guess.
The buses also come with a variety of rear lights; the ones on these Belgian buses don't match any of the Agoras or Citelises I've seen in Paris. Either way, the same backpack, now with LED lights, is also used on the Citelis's successor, the Iveco Urbanway.
(Oh yes, in 2013, Iveco bought the remaining share of Irisbus and renamed the bus models to Iveco only, but it's still the same fundamental bus design somewhere in there. The rest of the commercial vehicle division of Renault was sold to Volvo around the time but keeps its name. Note, that's the Volvo that makes trucks, not the Volvo that builds cars, which is completely independent and owned by Geely. This confusing shit keeps happening and it keeps getting worse.)
For extra confusion, there's also a version of all three buses that doesn't have this backpack, and instead has the engine under a raised floor. I'm going to ignore this one here.
I really love all the little details they implemented on the bus, like the colored signs on the outside that show route information.
Tumblr media
I have no idea why Paris uses these, the buses have digital displays as well, but I like them as a concept.
You can also see the frame for the advertising. In this case it's empty; in other episodes it has shown ads for Adrien, Le Perfume, or for the weather girl contest in Stormy Weather.
On the interior, I'll be honest with you, I'm not that knowledgeable about french buses.
Tumblr media
I think the overall layout is correct, but I think the seat color is wrong. Buses and trams owned by Paris's transit operator RATP usually have green seats. Maybe that was another copyright issue? I know that sounds weird, but the transit operator of Berlin (BVG) was recently in a legal battle with the designer of their seat patterns over the question whether BVG could sell merchandise with that pattern. RATP does not have that problem because they sell barely any interesting merch, no matter how much I'd like to buy some.
Next: The dashboard.
Tumblr media
We get actually fairly good looks at it in some episodes, in particular Animan, and it looks pretty good.
Tumblr media
In partikular, it seems to be a fairly close match for the VDV-Standardfahrerarbeitsplatz, seen here in a Citelis.
Tumblr media
The buttons for the automatic transmissions are in different places here, but both versions seem to be available. Also note that this one has a display unit built in, but it seems that is also optional. The one in Miraculous Ladybug has a separate bus computer unit mounted next to the dashboard, which is a very common layout as well.
As the name implies, the VDV Standardfahrerarbeitsplatz is a german invention by an association of bus operators, who have standardised how a bus dashboard should look like. While bus manufacturers can offer their own, and some do, the standard design is usually also available. The advantage is that if you have buses from three different manufacturers, then you only need to train drivers once instead of separately for each bus. Since german companies build a lot of buses, their standards have become relevant in other countries as well; such as France. Paris has a lot of german-built buses these days as well.
I know the Agora didn't always use the VDV dashboard; you can find pictures of a weird angular Renault design. I don't know if they switched, or if the german standard design became available as an option, and I don't know which version RATP used. But it's certainly a type of real bus dashboard, and one that was used by the same company later on, so I think it's okay.
In some episodes, notably Glaciator 2 and Qilin, we also see the ticketing.
Tumblr media
Marinette apparently has a Navigo pass, a contactless card that you touch to the validator in the bus. That seems perfectly accurate. In Qilin, she has forgotten that card, but luckily her mom has bought single-use tickets.
Tumblr media
In Paris, you need to validate such pre-bought tickets first, which she does by touching them to the RFID validator.
Tumblr media
That's really not how it works in real life. Instead there's a distinct validator for these bus tickets that stamps them, but this bus model doesn't have that. It's okay enough, I guess.
The main issue with the interior of the bus is something else: It has a step.
Tumblr media
That's a bit of a problem. In real life, the Agora does not have a step, the entire floor is flat. That was its main advantage over the older Renault R312, which did have the step. I have no idea why the show chose to include a step in here. They're consistent about it as well; there's a step at the rear door, too.
(By the way, do not think about where the doors go when they're open. It's different every episode. They're supposed to swing inwards, but sometimes they swing out, or they just disappear.)
My final nitpick would probably be the underside.
Tumblr media
I have no idea what an Agora is supposed to look like from underneath. But given that the engine is in the back, it's probably not supposed to have exhaust lines running all the way under it. Yes, that's as minor a nitpick as they come, but I couldn't resist once I saw it.
Overall, though, it's a good bus, and very appropriate if you only have the money to model one. The Agora is definitely a staple of Parisian cityscapes, with more than 2500 delivered to RATP, almost a quarter of the entire production run.
If there's one issue with its inclusion in the show, it's the age. The last Agora was built in 2006, and most of them have long been retired. A number of them are already in RATP's vast historic collection, which is sadly not open to the public except on special occasions. I don't get why; there would definitely be interest, just look at the London transport museum. Paris's public transport is every bit as iconic as London's, but they don't market it as such, and they don't have the museums and merchandise to capitalise on it, and I think that's just sad. Please allow me to give you money, RATP!
Anyway, these days, no Agora can go into Paris anymore. Paris has established a low emission zone in 2017, and all Agoras are too old to be allowed in. There are some Agoras still running in the wider Paris region, but not the city centre proper (though that one still has some Citelises, and also some Heuliez versions, which is a whole other can of worms). If we assume that Miraculous Ladybug takes place in some sort of eternal 2014/2015, which is still the best guess for a timeline that I've seen, then the Agora still fits, but it would hardly be the only or most common bus anymore.
The age becomes an issue in one particular episode, in Bakerix, where Bakerix complains that the bus is electric, and that's not how it's supposed to be.
In real life, the Agora was never available as a battery electric bus. Paris is buying lots of battery electric buses these days, including ones that have some lineage to the Agora, but the original only ever had internal combustion engines…
…well, except for sometimes. There were also Trolleybus versions of the Agora. First, there is the Škoda 24Tr (normal version) or 25Tr (articulated version), which was confusingly built in two versions, one based on the Agora and one based on the Citelis. There is also an Irisbus Agora Trolleybus with electrical equipment by Škoda. Is that a different trolley bus based on the Agora built in cooperation between Škoda and Irisbus, or is it the same one, and they just sometimes branded it as a Škoda and sometimes as an Irisbus depending on local contracts? Your guess is as good as mine. Either way, though, those were only sold in Eastern Europe. Paris doesn't have any trolley bus wires, so there were no electric Agoras here, ever.
That aside, though, I think Miraculous Ladybug did overall really well on the bus, given the constraints they had to work with, and I'm looking forward to seeing it in plenty more episodes.
I think that's the end of this series, unless the show starts bringing the tram or the RER into it. I don't think they will, because I don't think they could tell any new stories that way, but I would greatly appreciate it. Anyway, thanks for reading!

An IRL friend of mine recently suggested I cut back on posting content because "maybe a dozen or two dozen people" like my posts and they weren't sure why I bothered when there was no money or engagement in it.
I definitely felt a bit like that a few years back, particularly when I'd see people repost my scans on other platforms and get tens of thousands of likes. If I'd shifted platforms and focused on engagement that could well have been me.
However, that's not really what I've ever been about. I share what I share because I like it and want other people who like these works to enjoy what I have in my collection too (or to discover new works they might not have encountered). Nobody has to engage with what I post though, I could get 0 likes/reblogs and I'd still keep plugging away because ultimately this is just a hobby and I'm just a fan.
I don't want to harp on with the cheesy "you should do things for yourself first and foremost" with hobbies, but at the end of the day my affection for certain series and artists won't evaporate just because my posts about them aren't popular on Tumblr.
I've been here for 14 years and have only just hit 10,000 followers. I'm not an important internet person by any stretch of the imagination and I think that's OK. If I'd been angling for something beyond simply being a fan of certain things, I can see how this might be considered failure. For me (personally) though, I don't feel like my hobby needs to have any form of hustle attached to it. This is what I do to express my affection for things.
Not everyone will feel the same way as I do about sharing content online and that's fine, we're all individuals and we engage with things differently. I just wanted to express this while the thoughts were still fresh in my mind.
Enjoy your hobbies in the ways that work for you. You'll find people who appreciate your contributions (big or small) wherever you go online and if you move onto different fandoms or hobbies, you'll find new folks who like what you do there too. Just don't feel locked into numbers as the ultimate way of judging your own love for media.

Unpopular Opinion: I Liked The Hashira Training Arc! (Season 4 Review)
Unpopular opinion: I liked this arc! While the Entertainment District arc will always be a personal favorite of mine, the Hashira Training arc was fun for a majorly low stakes arc where there is no demon slaying. I liked seeing Tanjiro going through shenanigans with the Hashira and fellow Demon Slayer Corps. It was a definite calm before the storm before all the stuff that transpired at the end of Episode 7 and the entirety of Episode 8. It definitely got me engaged and anticipating the movie trilogy.
Tumblr media
In the manga, this was Demon Slayer’s shortest arc with it only being 8 chapters, I believe. Ufotable expanding the training and also giving anime original content was a real treat to fans because fans of the Hashiras can have more content before the the depression that is the Infinity Castle arc (Yes, I read the manga and yes, I know how depressing the next arc will be). Sanemi and Iguro actually get a lot of action scenes because their skills weren’t revealed until the Infinity Castle arc, so it’s a treat to finally see them finally get some action, even if it’s anime original content.
I think the best part about the arc is the added content. In the manga, Tanjiro goes through each Hashira training in a page or two. That’s it. He just sweeps through them like that. Ufotable takes time to help both Tanjiro and the viewers see what he is going through for each training session. Some take weeks to finish.
The first two episode is mainly a rundown of what’s to come for the other episodes and a sneak peak at the Infinity Castle, which finally appears in the season’s finale. It’s mainly the Hashira learning that the Demon Slayer mark that Muichiro and Mitsuri temporarily got back in the previous season is an effective way to take down demons, hence why they decided to hold a training session so Hashiras and the corps can get a boost in power before the big fight. Giyu was the only one who didn’t want to participate in it, so the second episode was just Tanjiro trying to cheer him up and learning why he is detached from the rest—it turned out to be due to self-loathing over the fact that his friend Sabito died while trying to protect him during the Final Selection Exam. Fortunately, Tanjiro was able to get Giyu to cheer up and he recovers well enough to participate in the Hashira Training, which is from Episodes 3 to 7. Also, no one is harking on Shinobu for not participating in the training session; though, she has a reason to not participate…
Tumblr media
What I liked about the Hashira Training is learning what Uzui and Muichiro have been up to since their spotlighted arc. In fact, all of the Hashira Training is to get attached to the Hashira before the big showdown. While Uzui has retired, he has been helping out with the training by making the corps do basic training like stamina building and endurance. His three wives Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru tell Tanjiro that Uzui does want to participate in battles again, which worries them. It’s nice to see that the Hashira has their own fair share of worries even after retiring. I don’t think Uzui wants to fight demons out of bloodlust, but it’s more like he wants to help out. Muichiro, after getting his memories and emotions back, is still the same in demeanor, but the way he’s super sweet to Tanjiro but super cold and condescending to the other corps members was hilarious. He clearly has favoritism. I think the best part of these two episodes is seeing Tanjiro motivating the other nameless corps members to work hard! Tanjiro will always be a ray of sunshine to everyone!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Episode 5 is where the Hashira spotlight sort of stops because Mitsuri gets the short end of the stick. While she is still the same after the Swordsmith Village Arc, it would have been nice to learn what has changed for her since then. Though, I would admit that her flexibility training is the scariest of the bunch because getting your legs stretched out all the way when it’s not used to it is terrifying. You need your legs, after all! After that, Mitsuri’s training is done and then Iguro gets most of the spotlight, which makes sense because Iguro isn’t really showcased as much in the manga. Giving him that extra spotlight is necessary. I honestly liked the Iguro training segment because of how it was animated. The first episode showcased Iguro’s Breathing skills and he is able to utilize that in a regular wooden sword. Though, I do admit that Iguro tying up the nameless corps onto poles does make me wonder if they were tied there afterwards on purpose or if they always angered Iguro. After Iguro’s training is Sanemi’s training where it’s just hacking and slashing, but Tanjiro gets the most fatal blows due to his dislike for him. After helping Genya and trying to stop an angry Sanemi, Tanjiro gets a restraining order and is suspended from doing Sanemi’s training. The backstory between Genya and Sanemi was shown in Season 3 and why Genya wanted to apologize. I know that Sanemi does have his reasons for getting angry at Genya and why he was telling him to quit the corps, but he’s not doing a great job on expressing it. I always saw Sanemi as a bit of a foil of Tanjiro in a sense as they’re both the oldest but their treatment of their only living family member is totally different due to how they process the trauma.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Episode 6 is where the comedy starts because it was the most hilarious episode. Just seeing Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke reunited to do Himejima’s training session was so funny. Tanjiro had to be the mom friend by saving Zenitsu and Inosuke from drowning in two different occasions. Also, learning about Himejima’s backstory in the following episode hurt a lot because the kid who ratted them out to the demon in order to survive was the kid who bullied Zenitsu in his flashback back in Season 1.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then in the last two episodes, Muzan finally shows up. After making small appearances here and there with new Upper Four Nakime in order to search for Nezuko, Muzan located Ubuyashiki and entered the base. It was amusing that the penultimate episode had him walk for like 5 minutes. Muzan confronts the Master and after talking with each other, the Master launches the craziest bombing I’ve seen in an anime so far. He legit did a suicide bombing with Amane and his two daughters Nichika and Hinaki—if you saw the opening, the Master has 5 kids, so no, his entire family isn’t wiped out. Where are the other three kids? Well, watch the movies to find out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think the finale was very memorable because of how everything played out once the bombing happened and how every Demon Slayer Corps got sent into the Infinity Castle in hopes that Muzan will wipe them out for good. It does reflect on what Ubuyashiki said before with how the Demon Slayer Corps are eternity in itself in a similar way to Muzan. In order for Muzan to be eternity, he needs to wipe out his main obstacle so that he can find Nezuko without anything blocking his path.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The animation has been consistent with the quality getting an upgrade whenever there’s an action scene. However, the finale amps up the quality tenfold. The way Himejima attacks and also blocks Muzan’s attacks to seeing Tamayo’s expressions move around from anger to regret were seriously a visual treat. The music was really good too! The finale really amped up the soundtrack. Go Shiina really knows how to produce quality songs—I’ve always been a fan of his pieces as I am a big fan of the Tales series.
Tumblr media
All in all, making the Infinity Castle arc into a movie trilogy is actually the best solution because the arc is very long and it mainly consists of fighting the remaining Upper Moons. Trying to condense the arcs into a television series might be difficult due to choppy pacing and untimely cliffhangers. While I’m not necessarily a big anime movie fan, I still do think this is the best route Ufotable can take with a big franchise like Demon Slayer. What are your thoughts for this entire season and your thoughts on the movie trilogy announcement?

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 (HTTYD2)
Explanation on why the 💞"𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖"💞 scene is so important in How To Train Your Dragon 2 (HTTYD2) by Dreamworks.
Tumblr media
Valka at the beginning of HTTYD2
Let's start by talking about Valka.
Throughout the film, it is explained how in the past she felt uncomfortable and strange in the human world, as its static norms clashed with her ideals, which is why she ends up abandoning her family.
So she achieves his dream of living in peace and harmony with the dragons, learning everything from them. However, she has paid the price of giving up her "human side" and with it her family.
That she chose to live among dragons rather than remain with her own reveals two things: Confidence and courage in pursuing her dream, but also her fear and lack of trust in others.
She does not feel supported and listened to by her people, but neither does Stoick. She feels caged, so when she gets the chance, she escapes.
Tumblr media
The fact that Valka renounces her family is also a reflection of the problems within their marriage. Valka and Stoick had opposing beliefs towards dragons, which would obviously create fights and reinforce Valka's idea that this was not her place. Furthermore, this shows that Valka was extremely afraid of being rejected by Stoick for who she really was, and that this probably led her to show herself to him in a way that she was not in order to protect herself. Not to mention that, being seen as an outcast in Mema for opposing the war and that her love of dragons almost killed her family, she believed she was protecting her son.
Thus, at the beginning of HTTYD2 we find a strong and confident Valka within the world of dragons, but very distrustful and distanced from the world of humans. This is reinforced at the beginning when she walks crouching, imitating the dragons.
Tumblr media
Later on, once she establishes a bond with Hiccup through the dragons (but note: through the dragons, not because he is her child. Although this changes later on), she begins to walk upright and behave in a more "human" way.
Meeting with Stoick
Valka's real growth comes when she and Stoick meet again.
It is amazing how Valka crumbles in a few seconds. She goes from a powerful woman who believes in herself to a frightened person, full of remorse and anguish.
After meeting Hiccup, she regrets abandoning them. She regrets choosing the easy way out, but as she says: "Well, what sign did I have that you could change, Stoick? That anyone in Mema could do it? Did anyone listen to me?".
Her body language shows that she is extremely afraid (she backs away until she hits the wall), showing once again the fear she has of being rejected by Stoic, the person she loves, and whom she has to finally confront.
Tumblr media
It's funny how Valka is unable to understand his reaction. Anyone else would be filled with anger and frustration, but Stoic's response is ✨sublime✨. He says nothing until he is at her level, while she says everything on the verge of tears. Then he strokes her cheek and says, "You are as beautiful as the day I lost you."
Tumblr media
FRIENDS, are you aware of what a LOVE DECLARATION this man makes? This man has told her: Everything is fine. I accept and understand your decisions, even though they were not the best. I forgive you and I love you💞.
I think Valka cries not only from the stress and emotion of the whole situation, but also that she finally sees that her husband accepts her for who she is and loves her that way.
💞💚💜✨THIS MOMENT IS PERFECT✨💜💚💞.
Tumblr media
Little by little, Valka opens up to her human side, which she had repressed, while Stoick supports her in her development with small gestures (this is especially noticeable in their body language). In this way, Valka realises that she had made a mistake. Everyone can change, even her.
In conclusion, Valka from this moment onwards will begin to understand that her family does not make her more vulnerable, that her quirks are impossible to accept or unforgivable. That is why she wants to return to Mema happy to be reunited with her people and family and, therefore, happy to be reunited with her human side.
Tumblr media
What do you think of this scene?
I hope you liked the analysis✨.

I will never be over Howard Hamlin. He’s a stone cold hunk. He’s autistic. He’s bisexual. He can’t sleep. He has a drinking problem. He’s a nepotism baby. He’s an amateur barista. He’s in love with his hot wife and his dead law partner. He cries in the public bathroom of the Bernalillo County Superior Court. He likes being on his bike because it’s the one time he doesn’t have to be “on.” He went to his grave not knowing why his law partner’s brother made billboards dressed up like him. He’s in a legal dramedy. He’s in a horror movie. He’s the kind of guy to get hammered and deliver an incredible speech to the two people who hurt him the most in the world and then try to talk down an armed stranger to protect them. HE’S UNDER THE FUCKING LAB

Good evening wonderful fandom! SO glad to have a new ep to do some quick thoughts on. I missed our babies. As stated few weeks back the gif library is a turd right after an ep. So quick hand made ones till summer. Off we go.
6x04 Training Day
Tumblr media
Lucy saying she’s fine as she consistently does all her fidgety tells screaming she is anything but LOL Tim picking this up too love it. Smart man saying what he does about “being fine.” They cute with her saying 'Does he want her to be upset?' He's so good at making her laugh in this moments. Makes my heart happy. Till John appears.... Way to jump in on their moment Nolan. Of course the man makes it worse…She was laughing before you got there John…Tim's face when she takes off. Like if I could punch you Nolan...
Tumblr media
Oh Lucy... Definitely hitting her hard she’s still a patrol officer. Tasks that didn't used to bother her as much are. Ugh my girl. This is rough. You are anything but fine my friend…Poor Lucy last thing she needs is more alone time with her thoughts at a scene that'll take forever to wrap up. Not only that but babysitting puke…I think our girl is headed toward quite spiral that has yet to happen. Tim is gonna do his best to keep her sane but I have a gut feeling we are headed there. I could be wrong but just how I'm feeling.
Tumblr media
Lucy killing me softly watching Juarez and Nolan get recognized on Tv. Mmm I am loving Tim coming to pick her up yum yum. Lucy mentioning almost getting that call... Damn nothing going her way today. Or lately... Think her only sanity at this point is that man next to her. Tim of course is picking up on it immediately knowing her mood is linked to Primm. Knows his girl so well. Stating she was hoping could've proved him wrong with catching a call like that.
I love this scene. Lucy telling Tim about her crappy day and Tim giving her perspective. Saying she could be the big hero tomorrow. Not only that but making her smile as well. Look at him building her up like it’s second nature. Cause it is. Damn I love these two. Him basically leaning on her and bumping her shoulder with his telling her not to be too greedy hehe That Lucy smile of his loud and proud. Making her beam as well. She loves this man next to her so much.
Tumblr media
Oh my lord this entire scene had my heart racing. What an absolute BAMF our girl is holy hell. Tim would've lost his mind seeing this. Hell I did. I screamed when she got hit and my dog ran from the room LOL The looks on Harper/Lopez's face when she went down oh my goodness. The absolute panic on their faces. Right there with you ladies. This was a huge risk she took to prove herself. One like I said Tim would’ve lost his mind at seeing.
Lucy was definitely being the big hero this entire scene oh my lord my heart was pounding. What a way to impress Harper and Lopez but give me a damn heart attack. That scene in the ally with the brother..... I was worried when he didn’t stop she was gonna have to shoot him. Giving me 5x19 flashbacks. I think she is going to CARRY this with her for a long time. Being an empath is no joke. Our girl one of the finest even at her own detriment.
Tumblr media
I was hoping for some insanely worried Tim and they DELIVERED. Like that man couldn't breathe till he set eyes on his girl. Oh my damn lord. The way he ran to get to her. Man on a mission doesn’t even stop to check in with Grey. By-passes them completely. Only wants to get to Lucy. His hand on her head had me reeling everyone. It's the gentle way he caresses her hair I'm squeeing. Also his non stop touching.
Trying to ground her by letting her know he was there emotionally and physically. Rubbing his thumb up and down her her collar bone. The sweet squeezes. I'm a puddle.. The way this man has transformed because of her still blows my mind. The sweet comforting touches. I'm losing my mind. His adorable attempt at a joke telling her she didn’t have to take the hero suggestion literally. Ugh Lucy breaking my heart into million pieces. Saying she doesn’t feel like one.

Melissa you deserve all the awards madam I’m crying. Her little pre cry when he says they'll deal with it my damn heart. Killing me. I love how Tim's hands have not left her for 90 percent of this moment. Protective Tim was very much present in this scene with Wes. Grey was too being like dude let us take the win. Feral Tim having Wes back it off for tomorrow. Wade being the sweet man he is says that's ok. Lucy is going to be anxious about all this. I would be stressed about him succumbing to his injuries now that Wes said that. Read the room Evers lol

Gah Tim telling her let’s go home. Then we get another glorious hug where he encases her in his arms. Protecting her emotionally from this situation. Lucy burying herself in his embrace. Wrapping her arm around him tightly to ground herself again. She needed to fall apart in his arms before they left. THIS IS SOO GOOD. Annnnnnd another head kiss I’m dead I am writing these thoughts from the grave.
Oh my word this season has delivered in spades both friggin crap. I’m out of breath from this episode in the best way. Also whoever does the music needs a raise I say it time and time again. But that song was perfection against the backdrop of this final scene. Was telling D earlier I already need to change my header to it.
I love this hug SO much it's insane. Sure I'll write a novel on it this summer. Having everything that's going on plus this I think our girl is hurtling toward a breakdown of some sort. Some actual UC/detective feelings coming with it. Cause our girl is anything but fine. I'm so excited to see where we go from here S6 has every bit worth the wait. I cannot wait till next week

Yay Aaron progress in therapy. Back to active duty ha his heart rate going up for her too cute.
We finally get Nyla’s new hair style. Loving it
Adore the idea of Tim being one to take Aaron back out. Ain’t no one better.
Mmmh love hard ass TO Tim in metro uniform yummy. Does things to me. Aaron thinking he got this TRAIN but there is panic there.
‘Train is leaving the station officer Thorsen.’ Mmmm He does impress Tim for this first call. Yay Aaron haha
Giving Aaron only 9 minutes before bouncing him back to being a rookie oh my lord Timothy. I love you so much.
I do adore watching Tim watching Aaron do well. I’m sure there is a part of him that misses being a teacher. You can see it in these scenes. The pride and excitement he gets when Aaron is doing well. Aaron doing little fist pump and Tim shaking his head I’m dying.
Also How can Tim make leaning against a chair look so sexy? I want to be the chair he is leaning against in this scene with the wife LOL
Glad he passed Tim's TRAIN test. Glad they took their time getting him back out there. Was realistic
Feel free to comment any and all thoughts. I welcome them. See you all next week!
