Coming to terms with being TransID in any way after going from anti rq -> rq neutral -> pro rq -> rq is a wild ride. I never thought we’d go from identifying as/with being Russian, no longer identifying that way because it didn’t feel right, to so many identities. I don’t know if anything makes sense I’m just yapping.

I don’t entirely understand why we were anti in the first place except from social indoctrination. Society and the queer community as a whole (minus rq) told us it was wrong, racist, ableist, etc. They even pushed us from identifying with our cisrace for fear of not fitting their idea of what our race even is. Our own mother even says we’re our race, as she met our bio mom.

On the same topic, being transmilitary while being a leftist sucks. We want the euphoria of serving and being in the military, but it doesn’t align with any of our ideals in general. Especially looking at America’s current political climate and the support of 1sr@3l, it’s just about our last choice when it comes to careers. It’s part of our identity of being transmilitary. We would be in the military if we were physically and mentally able to alongside if it fit our political ideals.

We want to follow punk ideals of eat the rich and fuck the government but are too rich and too in support of some governmental things (such as the military but see above paragraph about our wavering support) and it actually really sucks. We want to follow the fashion subculture but it’s more than just fashion and we therefore cannot do anything punk or alt.

I also don’t understand people who are against conabusive/conprogramming/etc. relationships because it’s literally in the word. Consentual. Con. People say it’ll never be real abuse and is offensive to abuse survivors but it’s mostly abuse survivors who are looking for those kinds of relationships. Some people may want more pain for their own reasons. I want more pain so my trauma and pains especially from source feel more valid.

Discord Server

We are working on a Discord Server which is multi fandom themed and is made for any Fictives, Kins, IRL, etc. who belong into said fandom(s).

Its made for 16-32 year old with a category exclusive for 16-17 year old and 18-32 year olds.

The server is Furry, Neopronoun, LGBTQIA+, POC, Witch, Pagan & Other Religion friendly, Mirrorlinks, Copinglinks are also more than welcome here ! Petre, Agere, Littles, Middles are also welcome, but with supervision only, if you are regressed or have littles/middles under 16 around.

Its also open to Endogenic, Mixed, Traumagenic systems and Syscourse/Discourse won't be tolerated !

The server is loosely themed around Darker themes like Horror, Eldritch, themes with the category names being that way as well

We are trying to make it look aesthetically pleasing, but no promises /lh

We will also have a basic Trigger list + a TW Center where you can talk about triggering topics, acessed by a role

Here’s my metaphor for systemhood that I tell my singlet friends.

Imagine you’re playing a first person video game. You have the controller, you control your character. It’s a normal first person game. You are an alter, the character is the body. This is fronting.

Other people live with you. Sometimes, they come into the room and sit and watch while you play. They sometimes try to guide you, give you advice on what to do next. They don’t always agree, and they can argue with each other. Other times they scream at you that you’re doing everything wrong and you suck at this game. This is co-consciousness.

Imagine how distracting it would be for people around you to tell you what to do, or to scream at each other or at you, even if they have good intentions. It wouldn’t be easy to focus on your game, would it?

Then sometimes, something happens in the game that prompts you to hand off the controller to someone else so they can play and you get a break. This is (some types of) switching. This can be good.

Other times, someone rips the controller out of your hand or fights you for it. This is (other types of) switching. And sometimes, six other players hook up their controllers, but there’s only one character to play as. So all of you have your controllers, but you’re all trying to play the same character. This is cofronting.

Imagine how difficult that would be. Imagine how hard it would be to try and play a game while someone is trying to take the controller from you, or while six other people are trying to play too.

There are also times that nobody is playing, or you can’t decide who should play. What’s happening to the character in the game? What are they doing if no one is playing? This is dissociation. The character is doing nothing. They’re stuck.

This is the best metaphor I have come up with for being a system. It’s something a lot of people get because they’ve played games before.

Once again on the topic of being nonhuman, I’d like to ramble about p-shifters or physical shifters for a minute. To start off, I’d like to say I am not an anti, and in fact, am a former anti who is wanting to learn more and be more respectful. If talk of delusions, things such as clinical zoanthropy/lycanthropy, or similar topics makes you uncomfortable or triggers you in some way, please scroll on for your mental safety.

We’ve collectively been in the alterhuman and therian communities for years, and we awakened to our therian identity in elementary school. As we’ve joined more accepting online spaces, we realized we’re simply nonhuman alongside being alterhuman and a therian. I separate nonhuman and alterhuman because alterhumans still tend to have a belief they’re a human now, but previously weren’t, but we still don’t believe ourselves to be human.

When we were a lot younger, we used to try those fake YouTube spells and hypnosis spirals to physically shift into what we should be: a wolf. As we entered more therian online spaces though, we were taught that physical shifting was bad to believe in and all physical shifters are delusional or are bad people spreading misinformation. I personally believe just because someone has delusions, it does not mean they’re a bad person who should not be welcomed into a main community.

Not to say some physical shifters don’t identify that way because of clinical reasons or because of delusions or so on, but that’s not always the case. Someone may genuinely believe they can physically shift, and some may even be able to one way or another, not to discredit those who can. I simply believe any type of physical shifter should be welcomed into conversations pertaining to any kinds of shifts. Even if you’re an anti, it costs nothing to be respectful, ask respectful questions, learn the opposing side, and, as the entire of radqueer tumblr says, to mind your own.

It’s important to have these conversations and to learn the opposing side when it comes to topics such as alterhumanity, nonhumanity, and physical shifting so that we as alterhumans, nonhumans, radqueers, or whatever kind of being you are can learn to be more inclusive instead of exclusive. We need to strive to be more inclusive.

In fact, if you are a p-shifter, I’d love to start a dialogue in DMs about it! Tell me what it’s like! Have you shifted before? What part(s) of you shift, if not all? I’m very curious and would love to know more! I’d even be up to starting conversations through asks. There shouldn’t be such a stigma around p-shifters.

A term created for entities inside the headspace who are sentient Non-Alters. They are not Insiders nor are they simply NPCs.

They have a Symbiotic relationship with an Alter through which they might be able to influence the outside world, speak, talk, control the body through them, but they aren't capable of fronting in an Alter sense. Rather, they may only influence the Outside World through the Alter they are in the Symbiotic Relationship with. However this can be quite draining for both individuals and they might need practice to improve upon that.

Symbiotes have their own likes, dislikes, hobbies, personalities like an Alter would. This and the fact that they can control the outside body with the help of the Alter they are connected to sets them apart from most NPCs and Insiders.

An Alter who is in a Symbiotic relationship with a Symbiote is called an Emcee.

This term is not to be confused with Symbiotics, who are living beings (such as Headmates/Alters) that share an intrinsic connection with a sentient headspace.

This term is open to be used by any Plurals/Systems whether Traumagenic, Mixed, Endogenic, so on.

one of the most important things about dissociative identity disorder and generally being a system that i wish people would understand is that it truly isn’t as cut and dry as it may seem for member count.

you’ll see people who say they have “six alters” and then immediately assume it’s six fully fleshed out equal individuals with no confusion or fuzziness regarding identity. that’s simply not true in a majority of cases, as i have seen.

most systems still VERY much deal with confusion regarding potential splits, go through dissociative episodes where they’re unsure of who they are, sometimes feel no attachment towards any identities, feel like they might have split and then suddenly that person is gone, unsure if alters they haven’t heard from often have gone dormant, not sure how to react when alters do come out of dormancy, etc.

it’s not a fun feeling and it’s genuinely unfair in certain situations to force systems to list every single alter to you with full certainty, as if it will never change. because it will. for so many different reasons, systems will grow, they will shrink, they will fuse, they will develop. you can’t expect the person with the dissociative disorder and lack of core identity to be able to keep up a perfected list of forever, it’s simply impossible. you may have alters who stick with you, but that doesn’t mean changes won’t happen.

and systems who may be reading this — please don’t feel bad. you are not a hassle, you are not a headache, and you are not an inconvenience for simply coping with something like this. it’s out of your control and the only thing you can do is continue to cope to find ways to help yourself retrain from these reactions. please don’t allow yourself to be harmed by others who don’t understand what you are going through. there are people who will accept and love you for who you are, all of you.
