Periodic reminder that unless a person specifically and clearly tells you it is okay to tell others they are trans or queer, you should err on the side of caution and assume they do not want you to tell people (especially random people!) about their transness or queerness.
You have no idea, generally, why somebody doesn't talk openly about their trans or queer status, and you have no idea, truly, how somebody might react to that information. The most progressive person out there is still capable of harbouring incredibly negative thoughts about somebody's queer status.

one of the funniest/saddest things about having a jewish post breach containment is you'll read tags that are super loudly excited about how much they just looooove judaism and the jews (tm) and you'll be like "oh?" and click on their blog to see what else they've been saying and reblogging and be like oh

Maybe someone needs to hear this today, but writing is supposed to be fun. Ultimately, that should be the goal. To have fun. To enjoy yourself; enjoy the process of making something new out of nothing; enjoy tying together your plot lines and scenes and everything that goes into crafting a story. At the end of the day, your number one goal should be to have fun. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with copious self indulgence if that’s what makes you the most happy. And if you’re not having fun writing right now, it’s okay to take a break! If you’re feeling burnout, there’s nothing wrong with taking a step back to breathe. Remember: art should be an enjoyable process. Yes there is work, and yes there are times where it’s strenuous, but it should be fun, too. Write for yourself. Write for YOU. (Or: don’t write right now if you can’t/don’t want to! That doesn’t make you any less of an artist.) The rest will come later. Just have fun! ♡

Something we don't give Steph enough credit for is that she actually got Tim"went on a date and thought it was a platonic meet-up between friends"Drake to immediately realise she was flirting with him
like how hard did she have to flirt for even Tim to clock that she was interested

Here's the thing about politics, and ultimately, the world: you are going to be biased, and you are going to have a limited understanding of others to an extent. The key is to not deny that this exists because you will be ignorant when you are biased and limited in your worldview.
Yes, absolutely listen to multiple voices and points of view and a variety of different types of people. But know that this isn't the same as erasing all biases and "self-centered" views. Strive to do better without denying that you are fallible.
