Toichi reason for not telling kaito he is alive.
I havent watched the movie nore can i give facts but i have a theory which i want to share.
Toichi talked with vermouth ( his student ) about the possibility of dying to the organisation. No one man Crew can win alone against them. So she invited him to become part of the Black organisation and make it a organisation fight. This leaves him better option of winning. He agrees but doesnt want his family knowing he became a true criminal. In his eyes this necessary evil killed the consept of toichi and made him someone else, toichi personality truelly died.
The black organisation could have risen thanks to toichi and vermouth. By getting Mission and resurces who were original going into the animal organisation. It used toichi knowledge of them as own Inspiration ( code names ). The idea is to weaken the animal one and become necessary for the alcohol one. Once they destroyed the first they can destroy the second from inside. Worst case senaryio they can control the organisation to At least not be that violent as they could be. Control of the dark side which would exist no Matter what, to be an necessary evil only, an evil for the greater good. They can even keep locking for gems with this consept.
Toichi doesnt want his son to know he is good friends with an criminal boss ( like vermouth since they helped together ). Nore does he want him to be part of them.
This would explain his reason. His relationship with vermouth get some use. Why the organisation are so similar but not the same. Why the animal one got weaker after toichi death and came back only 8 years later. And why there is a Black kaito kid.
The reveal could come once Shinichi fights the black organisation and stands face to face against toichi. It could make the whole taken them down even harder because now it is about family. Kid has to decide if his father way and becoming an even bigger criminal for the greater good ( like he decides to become kid for revenge ) is his destiny. Or does he stop with everything and follows the part of Shinichi.
Considering his deception skills and name of kuroba which kuro meaning black. He could even turn out to be the boss. That is why the boss liked vermouth and why she is activly helping conan. The boss is okay with her beeing good just nobody else in the organisation knows this. They even plan for Shinichi to win against them.
What a plot twist and family fight.
Of curse no evidence only coneccting of existing facts with no real evidence. But it could happen because no facts stand against this theory.
Bonus:
Shinichi could become head of the police and kaito the new boss of the organisation. Control of the good and evil forces for the good of everyone. Like the anime bongou stray dogs had going on. The organisation could have kaito, vermouth, jii, phantom lady, cat Noire and maybe akako as members. They are all criminals who are not evil and are friends with kaito. He build up conecctions to the underworld so why not use that.

Love Under a Starry Sky
hiya everyone just wanted to include my fics here too, starting in chronological order
Chapter 1: The Letter
Hi guys this ff was meant to be more cheerful but Aoko is a little OOC. I do promise a happy ending tho!
~ ♡ ~
Kaito was no way or form in love with his best friend. Not at all. He didn't love her cute face or messy hair. He didn't love the way she speaks or the clumsy way she walks. And he definitely didn't love her eyes, not the way they sparkled - true to her name the child of blue. Aoko Nakamori. She definitely didn't keep him up at night. Kaito knew Aoko wasn't the prettiest or most elegant girl but to him she was perfect, but his situation prevented him from telling her. Telling her she was the only one for him.
Aoko definitely loved her best friend and it scared her. He was Kaito, her silly childhood friend. The one who always looked up her skirt or was pulling mean pranks on her. However, he was always there, when she was scared or upset. Ready to hug her or to cheer her up. She liked how his arms wrapped around her and his calm voice, she really liked that part of him.
Despite her knowing him most her life, it still scares her, he's definitely hiding something - something big. whatever it is she knows she'll be hurt. That's why when she got the letter, both of them were surprised - Aoko was friendly and cute but she had never received a love letter. Reading it, Kaito felt his heart twist and he didn't like this new feeling.
_Dear Aoko Nakamori,
I think about you all the time - I don't think you hear it often enough, but you're beautiful. I have wanted to tell you this for a really long time, unfortunately I never got the chance, so I am writing to you instead.
I like you. I don't expect you to reply immediately, let's say today 22:30 on the school rooftop. I look forward to seeing you.
Your Secret Admirer.
P.S. I hope you like the gift._
It was simple enough, it was clear whoever wrote this didn't spend too much time on it but the thought was there. The paper itself was of high quality and a pretty baby blue and the gift referred to in the letter was a pair of clip on earrings - the same crystal clear blue of her eyes. The same eyes he loved staring at.
'Aoko,' he began, trying to swallow his jealousy, 'you don't plan on going do you?'
Her reply wasn't what he expected, the usually happy and lively girl he knew just looked fed up. 'Why shouldn't I?' It was barely a whisper but it scared him, Aoko was never this quiet. Something was bothering her. 'At least that way I won't be alone, plus it's not like I had anything to do anyway.'
'Alone? Aoko what do you mean?' Kaito knew that even if she was sad, she usually made an effort to sound cheerful, but she wasn't. 'Kid's heist is today, that bastard that's stealing my dad away from me, strikes again.'
'Bastard? Aoko what do you mean alone,' this was very bad, Aoko hated being alone, but she hasn't brought up the topic in a while, 'you have me, don't you?'
'Do I Kaito? Do I really? Recently you've been so distant.' She looked like she was trying hard to hold back her tears. He hated seeing her like this, but he couldn't do anything. He was that bastard, the one whose stealing her father, the reason he's been distant.
'Aoko-san?' This voice - ugh. Hakuba. Kaito turned to face the boy walking towards them, his face suggested he was worried about Aoko's demeanour, her usual smiling face covered by her hair and eyes glassed over with tears.
'Nakamori-san? What are you holding?' Akako wasn't really one to talk to Aoko without insulting her in some way, but even she sounded concerned.
'Aoko-san, if you're not feeling well you should go back home and rest.'
'That's right Nakamori-san, you should get some rest.'
Aoko mumbled something along the lines of 'okay, I might as well,' but it was hard to tell. As she walked towards the door she bumped into Keiko - one of her good friends, they talked for a little bit before Aoko walked out of the classroom and made her way out of the school.
'Shouldn't you be doing something Kuroba-kun, she is your best friend?'
'I don't think she wants to talk to me,' he began, feeling the eyes of his class land on him as Aoko left.
'Don't be ridiculous Kaito-kun, of course she wants to talk to you.'
'Keiko?'
'She's clearly upset about something and the least you could do as her best friend is try and talk to her.' He sighed, Aoko was upset about something he was a part of, he couldn't postpone today's heist without confirming Hakuba's suspicions and probably Aoko's too. The best he could do was to talk to her after school.
Today was definitely going to be busy.
Chapter 2: Talk
~ ♡ ~
The day was painfully long, Kaito couldn't listen to his teachers anymore and lunchtime was even worse. A number of students had assumed that Aoko had left that morning because of a fight they had. A number of girls from their year asked whether she had been rejected by him, to which he could only blush and deny that anything romantic had happened between them.
However the worst part of all was his own classmates asking if the love letter had been from him - idiots, he'd have done something way better than this, something way more extravagant.
He couldn't wait for this day to be over and when it did he was glad he didn't have cleaning duty. He got back home as fast as he could, ignoring his mum's questions and running to his room. He quickly changed into something more casual before, once again, running out of the room and towards the exit. His mum had other plans though. She caught him by the hood of his jacket and made him explain what happened.
'I see, Aoko-chan is upset with you in more ways than one,' she chuckled, clearly thinking about the irony that he so happens to be Kid. 'You should kiss her.'
'Kiss!?' he sputtered, his mum was known for her carefree attitude and weird personality, but that was crossing a line. 'WHAT- what do you mean kiss?'
'Ha - you thought I wouldn't notice your little crush on little Aoko-chan, you should tell her and probably kiss her too. After all when your dad kissed me I couldn't help but fall head-over-heels for him...'
Kaito had quickly sneaked away whilst his mum was stuck reminiscing about the past, kiss Aoko - ridiculous he definitely didn't like her, at least not in that way. He sighed before crossing the road to get to Aoko's place, he had been delayed too much.
Taking a deep breath, he knocked on her front door hoping she would answer and preferably not kill him. Aoko took a while to answer the door so he waited before knocking again. She was really taking her sweet time getting to the door, but before he could knock a third time she opened the door. She had clearly been crying and had probably cried herself to sleep at one point - her eyes were very puffy, her clothes, and hair was messy as if she'd been lying down.
'Kaito?' Her voice was quiet, he fought the urge to call her cute, her cute clothes and messy hair were making it really hard. However, it would probably make her more annoyed.
'Aoko can I come in?' She nodded silently and motioned him to come in.
'Why are you here Kaito? Don't you have anything to be doing right now?'
'I do, but you're more important than that,' he shot her one of his signature smirks, but she rolled her eyes and chuckled. Good - he thought - she's smiling again.
'But really why are you here?' She sunk back into the sofa and he followed.
'You weren't yourself this morning, and I guess I was worried about you,' he inched a little closer to her and nearly jumped when she turned to face him. Her face was suddenly very close to his. He was used to teasing her from a slight distance, however being this physically close made his stomach flip. He also made the mistake of glancing at her lips and his mum's words came back to him. If he leaned further in their lips would meet and they'd be kissing. Kissing Aoko, Aoko his best friend, Aoko the girl he was currently very close to. He could feel his face heat up and was slightly thankful when she buried herself in his arms so she couldn't see his face that was becoming redder.
'Um Aoko? Is everything okay?' He carefully wrapped his arms around her and tried to calm his heart down.
'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude to you this morning, I was just annoyed and took it out on you,' when she looked up, her pouting face made his heart beat way too fast. Her lips were also very close, he shook his head and pushed her away slightly. Cursing those thoughts for coming back.
'It's quite hot in here, right?' He fanned himself with his hands. Aoko looked at him with a confused face.
'I did turn up the heating because it was cold, but you're probably feeling hot because you're wearing that massive jacket of yours.' He chuckled nervously at her statement and tried to shrug off his jacket. He placed his jacket in the edge of the sofa and looked back to her, she was slightly further away from him, which was a good thing, but he suddenly missed the feeling of having her in his arms.
'So, um, you know,' he began, anxiously turning to face her.
'Yes?'
'About that..'
'About what?'
'That letter, you know the one you got this morning? Are you going to go?'
'Oh that I nearly forgot,' she got up and walked towards the chest of drawers, picking up the letter and shaking out the earrings put inside. She clipped them on as she walked towards him.
'What do you think? Aren't they pretty? I'm going to wear them when I meet whoever wrote that letter.'
'So you're really going huh?'
'Ooh are you jealous Kaito?'
'NO! Why would I be? Hah! Jealous - preposterous!' He was really sputtering now. Aoko on the other hand was laughing at the odd face he was making.
'You should see how you look right now. I'm just going to thank whoever it is, but I have someone else I like.' She giggled at his clear relief, only to be confused yet again.
'You do!? Who?'
She chuckled, 'I'm not telling you,' and walked away, leaving a very puzzled Kaito behind.
'Hey! Wait! At least tell me how you're going to get there and back!'
Aoko stopped walking away and looked at him, 'you know I haven't really thought about that.'
'Really,' he wasn't surprised, she was usually this scatterbrained.
'I can't drop you there, but I can pick you up,' he started, but quickly added that he had to do something for Jii-chan when she glared at him. 'You should bring your helmet with you, I'm taking my bike to the parlour.'
'Sure, don't be late okay?'
''Kay.' He smiled at her before leaving, it had gotten surprisingly late.
He smiled as he got onto his bike, all he had to do was complete this heist and meet her at school.
Easy.
~ ♡ ~
Chapter 3: The Heist and the Confession
10 minutes. Kaito was listening carefully to the bugs placed at the heist location. His target tonight was a sapphire, it was being bought over for an exhibition. Sadly, this was the only big jewel on display.
'Inspector Nakamori, the emergency lights have been prepped and the generator is hidden at the back of the room.'
'Good, we'll be ready for that pesky thief now.'
He breathed out, 'so that's how you want to play it.' He placed the mask of the officer on and placed another mask on top. One could never be too careful. He turned on his walkie-talkie and in Inspector Nakamori's voice told the officers he had spotted Kid in the exhibition room and for everyone to gather there.  Now the officers not in the exhibition room would rush there, allowing him to slip in.
He made his way there, ready to start the next phase of his plan.
As soon as he was there, the room was already in panic allowing him to go to the back of the room. After confirming that the generator was turned off, he tripped the switches. The room was plunged into darkness.
'TURN ON THE GENERATOR, QUICKLY!'
'But, sir...'
'NOW!'
'Sir, the generator, it's broken!'
'WHAT! SOMEONE TURN ON A LIGHT!'
'Sir! The sapphire!'
'WHAT!'
Kaito let the lights turn on, after all, what's a heist without showing off?
'Inspector Nakamori, as you can see I now have the jewel.'
'KID!'
'You really made it too easy, Inspector, that wasn't even a challenge.'
'KID HOW DARE YOU!'
'Oh calm down inspector, there's no need to shout.'
He pulled his hat further down and threw a smoke bomb, allowing him to escape on his hang glider. It was odd that the heist was too easy, there was a tracker on the fake jewel. The real one was inside the generator. He had slid the jewel into the pocket of the exhibition owner. Who was also 'sleeping' in the toilet (he disguised the officer he put to sleep as the owner). That way, they will be tricked into thinking that the Kaito Kid flying away is just a dummy (with the help of a fake propeller and some balloons). He laughed, no-one can trick someone who lies professionally.
Now to Ekoda High School.
Aoko shivered slightly as she stood on the roof of the school. It had been slightly hard work to sneak in, but that didn't really matter. This feeling was definitely liberating. The cold night air and slight wind didn't deter her. She had chosen to wear a white dress with dark blue details, to match the earrings she had been given.
She stared up at the sky, the city lights dimmed the stars but the moon was beautiful. She glanced around the night sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of Kid, she wasn't sure why she was looking for him. Maybe she just wanted to know whether he'd been caught or not. Sighing, she turned around only to be surprised by a new presence on the rooftop.
'Kid.' The Phantom Thief was standing a few feet away from her. She could see his smug smile from underneath the hat.
'Nakamori-san,' he pulled out the jewel from today's heist, 'just the person I was looking for.'
'What are you doing here?' Her happy mood has disappeared. He held the sapphire to the moonlight.
'This isn't what I'm looking for, so I'll give it to you.'
She blinked in confusion, 'me?'
'I don't doubt you Nakamori-san,' he began walking toward the end of the roof.
'Why return them? The jewels I mean?' She chuckled at his confusion as he turned around, 'you worked so hard to steal them, why not keep them?'
'It's quite simple actually,' he pulled out his hang glider, 'I don't keep what's not mine, after all I have a better sapphire.'
He stepped off the edge of the roof, flying away.
Or at least that's what it looked like. This time it really was a dummy flying away, the real Kaito had put on his black cloak and was now dangling from the side of the school. He carefully made his way down the side and changed his clothes. Now all he had to do was to appear in front of Aoko, as if nothing had happened.
He made his way to the roof.
'Aoko.' He couldn't stop the blood rushing to his face when he saw her. The faint glow of the moon made her dress light up in a way that made her look angel-like. The wind blowing through her hair only served to make her look like she came out of a fairy tale. He shook his head, now was not the time to be fawning over her.
'Kaito,' her face lit up and she waved at him.
'Aoko did you meet whoever sent the letter.'
'Oh that, no I didn't,' she shrugged and turned to look at the city skyline. 'They must've forgotten, but guess who I did meet?'
'Um, who?' He smiled at her obvious excitement.
'I'm not telling.'
'Hey.' She giggled and looked at him, pulling him into a hug. After some hesitation, he pulled her closer. He felt his heart pounding, why was he feeling this? This entire day Aoko had made him feel a real variety of emotions.
'I'm glad you came Kaito.'
'Aoko, I,' he gently pushed her away from him, so he could see her face. 'Aoko I have something to tell you.' He gulped hard, what was he trying to do, what was he going to tell her? He could always confess. Confess what? His secret life? His love for her?
Love. That was it. This whole day had really proved it.
'Kaito,' she tiptoed up to feel his forehead, 'are you okay? You're face is really red.'
'I-,' this was really bad, she was really close to him. Her lips were way too close. 'Aoko- I.'
She pushed a strand of his hair away from his face, he had to do this, 'oh spit it out.'
'I think, I want to kiss you,' he cursed at himself inwardly. He had to ask now or he wouldn't ever. The thought had been plaguing him for hours.
She looked at him with wide eyes, 'kiss?' He glanced at her lips, dammit she was definitely wearing lip gloss. He moved his hands from her shoulders down towards her waist and pulled her closer.
'When you got that letter, I was jealous. When you said you'd meet him, I was jealous. And when you were upset, I was worried. You- You've always been important to me, I guess I didn't realise it was like this. And you look so pretty right now. You've been on my mind all day and, and I-'
She had effectively silenced him. With her own lips. The kiss had only lasted mere seconds, but it was enough to shock him. He already missed the feeling of her lips on his, so he pulled her closer.
Her lips were warm as he kissed her. She tiptoed further to tangled her fingers in his hair, so he steadied her with his arms. He had thought about kissing Aoko, before, but this was new. This feeling was unbeatable.
He felt one of her hands gently stroke his face, her body rocking against his. He had stopped being able to function properly, thoughts of her consuming his mind entirely. They way she felt in his arms. The way her body fit perfectly against his. The way her lips were so soft. He felt her hands travel down to his chest and crumple his shirt.
He gently pulled away, starting to feel slightly light headed, but he kept her close.
'I love you.'
'Bakaito,' her voice was quiet. He smiled as he pressed a quick kiss to her lips.
'Ahouko.'
'Do you plan on kissing me again?' She gently tugged him down.
He chuckled before capturing her lips in another kiss.

Chapter 4: Epilogue (kinda)
~ ♡ ~
Who exactly sent the letter?
'Hakuba-kun! You said this plan would work!'
'Now Akako-san, considering Kuroba-kun, there was a chance it wouldn't.'
'Well now he has the girl and the jewel!'
'Truly unfortunate,' but he could't help but smile, they were made for each other.
Hakuba and Akako had worked together to reveal his secret and capture him (Aoko was an unfortunate addition to the plan). However, they really were unsuccessful.
~ ♡ ~
What happened to the jewel?
'Ah Kaito stop here.'
'In front of the police station, why? Did your dad forget something?'
'Ah not really,' she stopped to think a little, but she added, 'its a secret!'
Kaito could only really think one thing - God was she cute. He smiled as she walked into the, that girl was his girlfriend!
However as he was lost in thought about the idea of telling her his secret identity she came back.
'Let's go!'
'Do you want me to drop you off at your place?'
'Aren't you coming as well?'
He had to admit, when she said that he did get the wrong idea at first, but the Aoko he knew was not that bold. So he confirmed, 'for what?'
'Dinner! Obviously, I bet you didn't eat doing whatever you did with Jii-san!'
Kaito had to admit he was very hungry and he would never turn down a free meal. Especially one made by his girlfriend, it felt nice calling her that.
'It better be good!'
~ ♡ ~
What about her dad?
'I wonder what she was doing out so late with Kaito-kun.'
'Nakamori-keibu, the report on tonight.'
'Ah detective, you're dismissed, go home.'
'What about you inspector, wasn't that your daughter?' He stood up and walked to the window in his office. He could see Kaito and Aoko drive off towards their house.
'Nah, I'll give them sometime.'

I made Morro and Lloyd fight in the rain enjoy ❤️
2.1K words idk how people write so much I fought tooth and nail for this
He’d been dreading the day he’d have to do this. Last night he lay awake, not caring that his eyelids felt heavy, or that for the first time in a long time he had a warm bed to sleep in. The rain kept him up, it tapped again and again and again on his window. It called to him. And he hated it.
He hated the rain.
Sure, he was confident any ghost who returned from the dead had an irrational fear of water. It was second nature to avoid it with their lives… or lack of. He knew what it felt like, to disintegrate like that. The water ate him from the inside out, tearing at skin and bone, barely having enough energy to keep his soul intact. He knew what it felt like to fight for his life when he was dragged into the ocean that fateful night. Not even his elemental power could save him then.
Why should today be any different?
“Morro?”
He rolled over, eyes adjusting to the light of the hallway. Akako had peaked her head through the doorway. Despite being the only bearable person around here, he couldn’t help but want to punch her face in for not knocking. It was common decency.
Morro let out an exhausted grunt. His younger sister only scoffed.
“Yeah, good morning to you too. Get up. Training’s early today.” She leaned against the doorway, unimpressed by his reluctance to do so. “You’ll miss out on breakfast. It’s Zane’s turn to cook today I don’t think you’d want to miss out.”
“Mhm.”
“It won’t be that bad.”
“I beg to differ.”
“Then beg.”
The silence seemed to be louder than the actual conversation.
“You’re lucky I’m the one who came to wake you up. I know for certain Kai isn’t too thrilled to live under the same roof as you.”
“Tell Kai he can sleep in the Destiny’s Bounty if he’s that bothered by it.”
“Har Har. Get up.”
“Right.”
He didn’t budge until Akako left, not even bothering to close the door behind her. He scoffed as she did so. What a morning.
He wasn’t too thrilled by the early start to the day. The ache in his shoulders spoke numbers. Maybe he was getting too old for this. He wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of going out there and having a conversation with the ninja too. But the smell of warm food was inviting, and it’s been ages since he’s had warm food.
The kitchen fell silent for a moment when he entered the room, just a moment. And in that moment he could tell he wasn’t the most desirable presence in the general vicinity at this certain point in time. Akako beckoned him over, and he sat down at the far end of the table, grabbing a pancake or two and already ripping one and shoving it into his mouth. They were oddly sweet for pancakes, so he ate them plain, not too keen on making himself sick. He tried to keep himself unnoticed by the rest, but couldn’t help to snag a glance at Jay, who had grabbed every topping there was to offer on the table and piled it all into one heaped pancake, regardless of whether they even went together or not. His stomach twisted at the sight and he turned his attention back to his food. His own choice seemed very underwhelming now.
Training was exactly as he’d feared.
It wasn’t training in the traditional sense. The torrential rain has only worsened and it was anyone’s guess how the grounds haven’t flooded. But puddles have definitely grown. Why they would even go ahead with training in this weather was beyond him. Prepare for every possible environment, he supposed, but rain in Ninjago doesn’t come by often. This was freak weather.
The rest of the ninja stayed behind, lingering by the door. None of them had their weapons. None of them were dressed properly for the occasion, the gi yes, but not any of the usual protection or armour.
Fruition hit him like a truck.
It was this kind of training.
Lloyd remained by his side. He’d gestured for Morro to come closer to the edge of the covering, where the rain had been pouring off the edge of the roof. A wall of water, calling out to him.
This was the training.
They were trying to get him used to the water.
A few moments hung in the air before Morro took a few steps forward, reaching forward, staring forward at that impenetrable wall. His gut was telling him to steer clear of the stuff. But his ego was louder. And it was telling him not to let the ninja have a one-up on him. They’d think he’s weak for letting a little bit of water nag at him. He could hardly stand a shower for more than a few minutes, god knows what he’s like in the rain. He felt the six or so glare at the back of him, and for better or for worse he paid no heed.
He jumped when his hand reached the barrier, it was cold and he didn’t like it. A chill crawled up his spine and he chose to ignore the look Lloyd gave him. If he wasn’t so convinced most of the people here disliked him he would’ve registered the look of concern on his face. But right now it felt like dirt under his skin.
“Are you alright?” He heard the green ninja ask.
“I’m fine. ”
“Are you-“
“You can stop looking at me like I’m a lost puppy. A little rain never hurt anyone.” Out of spite he shoved his arm through, ignoring the itching feeling he was beginning to get. He ached to pull it back, but he only let it out further, letting it get soaked to the bone, letting the chill spread even deeper. He’s immune now, he told himself, nothing will come of this.
Lloyd let out a scoff. “I’m only looking out for you-“
“Well you don’t need to. I don’t need you to care about me. I was fine on my own.”
“Yeah you were totally fine when you ended up summoning our father for some lunatic.”
“Don’t you dare go on as if I enjoyed working for her. We've been through this.” Spite tempted him further, and he considered shoving the other arm in.
“Whatever.”
“Besides, you’re worse than I am, actually falling for her advances,” he took a mental jab at the other, glancing over to see if he hit. Morro only received a glare in return. He didn’t care. There were other things to worry about.
The rain filled the silence. Morro finally withdrew from the downpour, wiping the excess water off. Lloyd grabbed him before he could turn to leave.
“Put your hand back in.”
“What.”
“I said put your hand back in. We’re not finished yet.”
“You said we’d take this slow.”
“Yeah and you’re obviously milking it. Put your hand in it won’t kill you.”
“You’re fucking mental.”
“Maybe I am, I don’t care. I’ve put up with you enough to let you stay, you’re going to return the favour for once.”
Morro spun around to glare at him. Lloyd tried to hide how he flinched, but Morro caught on quick enough and scoffed. He brushed his hand through his hair, chuckling and mumbling something incoherent to himself.
“You’re still not over that?! You’re still scared of me? After all this time? You have the nerve to tell me to move on and you still haven-“
Lloyd punched Morro.
He stumbled backwards, ending up in the downpour. He didn’t dare to take his eyes off the ground, less the shock actually registered on his face. He was soaked right through almost immediately and every nerve in his body begged for him to find shelter again. Every drop felt like a bullet pelting against his back. He had to double check that it wasn’t hail. It wasn’t. Maybe hail would have been better.
He was snapped out of it again when Lloyd landed a second blow square in the face. This time Morro had enough sense to react and he quickly grabbed Lloyds arm, throwing him to the ground. He landed with a horrible splat, resorting to going for Morros ankle before Morro sent a gust of wind his way, and by extension an onslaught of rain, hitting even stronger now with the sudden gale the other had summoned.
“DO YOU HOLD GRUDGES FOR THIS LONG?!” He shouted over the storm, preparing himself for another attack when Lloyd shot up. He’d managed to dodge and elbow Lloyds back, but not before Lloyd grabbed him by the neck of his gi and pulled him down with.
Morro gagged slightly as he crashed into the puddle below. Lloyd kept him down and gave him another kind punch, blood finally spurting from the other's nose.
“DO YOU NOT SEE WHAT YOU’VE DONE TO ME?” He swung his fist again. “YOU’VE ALMOST BLINDED ME AND NOW IT’S ALL MY FAULT FOR HOLDING A ‘GRUDGE’?!” He let out a yelp when Morro kicked him off. He was about to get up again before he noticed Morro raising his hand, and the rain seemed to stop. A ceiling of water loomed over both of them, only getting bigger as it continued collecting rain.
“I APOLOGISED, DID I NOT, DOES THAT SUDDENLY NOT COUNT NOW?” His hand dropped like a dead fly, and with it brought a sheet of water down with great force. Morro stumbled slightly, put off balance by the sheer weight of it. But Lloyd was slammed back onto the ground. That move will probably do numbers on their backs in the long run.
The water must have shoved something else, because the training equipment had suddenly sprung from the ground. Lloyd took the opportunity while Morro was distracted to charge some energy, sending it towards his knees to knock him off balance. Morro only stumbled.
“You dirtbag-“ Morro spat blood. “So you want to fight? That seems pretty odd, don’t you think? The green ninja himself, resorting to pick a fight with his own brother. Keeper of peace my ass.”
“SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTH.” Lloyd charged at him, throwing them both onto the rotating target practice. Morro flinched as they were tossed about, wedged between two wooden figures. His struggling was futile and only ended up with him slammed against the wood again. He winced.
“What. Did I hurt your feelings?”
Lloyd stared at him in disbelief. He only chuckled, by god was he out of it.
“It’s idiots like you that keep me in this job in the first place. I could have been all done after The March but noooo I have to train someone WHO SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALIVE MIND YOU??? EveryDAY is a constant struggle when I should be having a WELL DESERVED BREAK. WOULD YOU COP ON MORRO I'M NOT DOING THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO.”
“THEN WHY ARE YOU BOTHERED?”
“BECAUSE I WANT TO BE THE BIGGER PERSON. MAYBE AKAKO WAS RIGHT, MAYBE IT WAS A MATTER OF CIRCUMSTANCES FOR YOU, MAYBE YOU'RE NOT REALLY LIKE YOU WERE.” He threw another punch. And it missed.
Morro took his chance and shoved Lloyd off. The younger brother didn’t bother fighting back. Lloyd hung his head, hiding behind his hair. They were both panting, the rain washing the blood from Morros nose. He rolled over back onto the ground and spat more onto the sawdust. Lloyd only flopped onto his back, arms covering his face. The adrenaline was beginning to say goodbye, and the two finally realised their places.
Lloyd laughed.
It caught Morro off guard, it wasn’t one drive from insanity, or disbelief or shock or spite or malice. He couldn’t put his finger on it.
So he joined in.
Maybe it was insanity. He couldn’t even remember what they were fighting about. What a fruitless disagreement.
He brushed his dripping hair out of his eyes, hating how it clung to him. And he only laughed harder. On any other occasion it would have sent him right back into the comfort of his bed. But this time he couldn’t care less. The rain kept him on his knees, it battered again and again and again against his back. It called to him. And he couldn’t care.
Maybe it wasn’t so bad.

Recommend romantic candidates for my muses and see their reaction!
Note: They do not have to be ones my muses would like!
( accepting )
@yoakkemae said: [romantic candidates] Heiji for Saguru? Saguru for Heiji? (not mine specifically but I had to)
Tumblr media
"Who would like a rude person like him?".
Heiji didn't like Hakuba at all. Not as much as that Kuroba kid did but there wasn't any love or respect for the British detective. It just wouldn't work out in the long run. The only thing they had in common was their fathers being superintendents in the regional's forces. And that's where the common ground ended.
"Kudo's more my type anyways. Not like I'm gonna tell him that anytime soon". Heiji hopes that no one within earshot has heard his little admission. He would die if Shinichi did find this out. That and his pride shattered a little bit too. He thinks the troublemaker surrounded by murder daily would be too smug to find out the news.
Tumblr media
"Is this some kind of twisted joke? That buffoon and I in a romantic relationship? Have you lost your god-saving mind? Of course not. What is the process you took to even suggest we would be compatible? I'm curious to figure this out. More than being a couple with that idiot detective from Osaka, that's for sure".
To tell the truth, Saguru didn't really have the time to figure out things that didn't relate to a case. Sure his idol had an added romance with Irene Adler and Arsene Lupin but those weren't really canon or hearsay. Besides, the only person he had a little affection for due to a charm spell cast on him was Akako Koizumi. In which was clearly out of his league. Perhaps he would one day settle down and be with an significant other but for now, he was romantically involved with his work.

Sam x Reader please and fluff one, Nevan meets reader and Sam is being cute jealous shadow please
Nevan Prince, Sam's childhood friend and a music teacher of RSA!
TWST Sam being jealous of Nevan (Adult s/o)
Nevan kept buzzing Sam about you.
"So who are they? Do they like music? Are they into hip hop? Are they good at convincing principals to let teachers and students go on field trips?"
Stuff like that. And Sam decided he would finally introduce him to you.
And Nevan was ecstatic!!
"OH MY SEVENS! HI!! I'm Nevan Prince, I'm Sam's best friend from when we were in the crib! You are SO lucky to be with him, oh my god, and he is so lucky to have you!! You're stunning, and he says you're super cool, and I totally believe that now because WOAH!!"
His talkative, upbeat and hyped attitude stunned you for awhile, but also charmed you. Nevan was... quite the charismatic man.
He starts talking to you a lot. And it's pretty much about everything.
Sam, RSA, NRC, when he was a student, music, George the Frog, food...
So many things. Nevan was super humorous and comedic that it made you laugh countless of times when you talked to him.
"So, have you guys went out on a date yet?"
"No, not really. I mean, we're both really busy with work.."
I guess Sam never really knew what was going on in Nevan's head when you said that, cuz he just nodded his head at you afterwards, but GOSH was Sam doubtful.
Nevan just seemed to steal your attention a lot, and when he was with you, you just talk about Nevan all day long with him. Seriously? I mean, his friend is certainly cool, but cant you talk about something else instead of JUST HIM??
One day, you received a text from Nevan saying he wanted you dressed well. Sam got so frustrated when he heard about it, he wanted to confront Nevan about it. What's his deal with you and him? Why is he so chatty with you? As soon as he found Nevan (thanks to you giving him the desinated location of where Nevan wanted you and secretly him to be), he was so ready to question him.
But was distracted by the olive green eyed man himself.
"S/o! Sam! Just in time! Here is your table~" Nevan greeted, bowing his head and moving away to a table. Sam had only realized the place the three of you were at was... a nice fresh and clear area in the forest at night, with fireflies dancing and willow trees swaying. A table was in the center of the forest, as Sam just blinked.
Nevan had asked the headmaster of RSA to contact the headmaster of NRC to give you two a day off for tomorrow, and he set up the entire date setting for you two to enjoy. With George of course-
"Wow! Sam! We're finally getting that date we yearned!" you smiled sweetly at your ebony and purple haired boyfriend.
As you skipped to the table, Sam feeling guilty turned to Nevan and whispered to him.
"Hey... sorry." "For what?" "I... doubted you.."
Nevan blinked, but smiled regardless at his friend. "Hey, it's okay. Right now, I wish the best for you and them, and most importantly, I'll do anything for my bro."
"Even cooking frog legs?"
"Absolutely not- oh my god-"
Sam's joking- don't worry- he loves George-
Reblogs help! ^^

Regarding a Common Misconception of Hakuba Saguru
Lately I've been doing some reflecting on Saguru & the various ways I've seen him portrayed, as well as the ways I've portrayed him in the past. And then I was rereading some MK manga, and had some realizations. I've been feeling like rambling about them! So here I go, rambling.
[Disclaimer: I'm not personally taking issue with anyone's interpretation or impression of Saguru - just sharing my own impressions! This is just for fun <3 ]
Misconception: Saguru is constantly accusing Kaito of being KID
It’s a generally accepted fact in a lot of fics I’ve read (and honestly, maybe some fics I’ve written -- I used to hold this belief too!) that Saguru just unendingly insinuates that Kaito is KID--alone, in front of other people, always.
I won’t cite any here, but I’ve seen nods in fanwork to Aoko feeling a little stressed/frustrated about the fact that Saguru thinks Kaito is KID and makes it known. I’ve also seen fanwork where Saguru explicitly calls Kaito KID, presses Kaito for information, or otherwise makes his beliefs clear, even when others are around.
There are only five scenes in the Magic Kaito manga where Saguru makes direct indication toward his knowledge of KID’s identity.
First, of course, we’ve got chapter 17 - the first chapter where Saguru puts together that Kaito is KID.
For a long time, when I’d consumed more fic than MK canon, I recall an image born in my head of Saguru singling Kaito out in class and making the claim that Kaito is KID in front of everybody. I don’t know if I ever read any such allusion in a fic, or if it’s just an assumption I drew based on portrayals I read, but imagine my surprise when he does nothing of the sort.
Now, to be fair, Saguru is A LOT in this chapter. MK is still heavily in gag manga territory, so his behavior is extra extra played up. But if we take away the visuals, the dialogue between Saguru and Kaito can be summed up thusly:
[First scene where Saguru makes direct indications as to KID’s identity]
Kaito: You look so tired. Haven’t gotten enough sleep after chasing KID for three nights In a row, huh?
Saguru: Hmph. Aren’t you tired as well?
And then, a few beats later in the conversation:
Saguru: I’d like to invite you to the Ochima Art Museum tonight, where KID’s declared his next target. Kaito: Eh? Saguru: Then, you’ll understand why I’m so tired. Or, do you have other plans tonight? Kaito: Okay, I accept your invitation. It’ll be great to see your work in action!
And that’s it, that’s the big class confrontation. Aoko is present for it, but she’s more interested in joining in on the fun, and while I do think Aoko pieces together that Kaito is KID, she prefers to live in willful ignorance of it until it becomes impossible for her to ignore. She’s bright enough to pick up what Saguru’s implying, but because he never brings it past implication, there’s no reason for her to look at it too hard. Anyway, I digress. That’s conjecture and headcanon talking. My point is that Saguru never makes any explicit claims, just invites Kaito along to the heist.
Another neat thing about this scene is that--while certainly not motivated by mercy in this case, Saguru does give Kaito an out: “Or, do you have an excuse not to go tonight?” Of course, if Kaito took it, it would be rather damning, but I do think it would have been enough confirmation for Saguru. I don’t think there would have been any arm-twisting to get Kaito to agree.
But Kaito and Saguru are competitive bastards, so here we are.
Let’s move on to the heist!
Once again, the manga certainly plays up the whole ordeal. Saguru is intense and waiting for his moment, and Kaito’s being, well, Kaito.
At the heist, there are a few points where Saguru has opportunities to make allusions to Kaito being KID in a way others would pick up on, or otherwise make his suspicions known, but he doesn’t.
First of all, is this exchange:
Nakamori: Why are you guys here? Aoko: Hakuba-kun invited us! Nakamori: What’s the meaning of this, Hakuba-kun? Saguru: I thought she might like to see if KID is arrested tonight. Nakamori: You’ll fail if you’re too cocky! Saguru: We’re well-prepared. Besides, who knows… KID may already be here.
Saguru does imply KID could be present, but he makes no indication that he means Kaito. His next opportunity to hint at Kaito being KID or otherwise make accusations is when Nakamori asks him to consult as a magician.
Nakamori: Kaito, since you’re here, do you want to use your magic against KID? Kaito: [laughing sheepishly] Saguru: Oh, I want to see that fight, too. If you really can do it.
Needling, yes. Saguru knows what he’s saying and so does Kaito. Accusations, no. This is well within the realm of something Saguru would have said even if he didn’t suspect Kaito, considering their dynamic up until this point.
And then, the most explicit Saguru ever gets in terms of literally calling Kaito out as being KID, beginning when Kaito excuses himself to go to the bathroom right before the heist:
[Second scene where Saguru makes direct indications as to KID’s identity]
Saguru: [handcuffs himself to Kaito] Kaito: Huh? Saguru: I won’t let you do that, Kuroba. Kaito: What do you think you’re doing?! Saguru: I got the report back from the lab. The hair I got from KID indicated that he’s a high school student. After I compared KID’s data with other high school students’ data in the database… Kuroba Kaito came up in the final list. Kaito: That’s a coincidence. Saguru: Really? We’ll see soon enough. Let’s wait until the time KID is stated to come. [Some heist hubbub occurs as officers get into position even though KID hasn’t arrived at the heist time] Aoko: What? KID’s not coming? Saguru: Ha! It looks like I win! You’d better confess who you really are.
And from there, of course, ‘KID’ (Akako in disguise) swoops in and takes care of the heist. That more or less wraps up chapter 17, the first chapter where Saguru understands that Kaito is KID. And I would argue this is the most aggressive Saguru ever is. In fact, rather than persist in trying to accuse/capture/implicate Kaito as KID, he straight up vanishes from the narrative for several chapters.
Saguru doesn’t show up again until the Chat Noir heist, in chapter 25, when he calls from France.
It’s also important to note that at this point, Magic Kaito’s narrative has experienced a slight tonal shift. At the very least, while still often comedic, it reads less like a gag manga. Between the last time we saw Saguru and now, we’ve learned the apparent motivation behind Toichi’s murder, we’ve met Snake (an albeit rather incompetent villain) and Kaito has faced down gunfire and the danger posed by Snake and his men.
The way Saguru is portrayed has also shifted to reflect the shift too. Instead of a hulking antagonist-like character in a Holmes cosplay, he’s dressed primly and presents more as a cheeky but polite character. He’s also more effectively emulating the charm that the story tried to imply he had early on (“Hakuba Saguru, at your service!”, the girls in class fawning over him, the newspaper calling him out as a famous detective making a long-awaited return to Japan).
The interaction is entirely less antagonistic, too. For reference, I’ll paste the exchange (sans Saguru’s massive info dump) below.
[Third scene where Saguru makes direct indications as to KID’s identity]
[At the heist for the golden eye] Kaito: [Hiding in a bathroom stall while putting on a disguise] [His phone starts ringing] Hello…? Saguru: Hi, it’s been a while. Are you still alive? Kaito: [Thinking] This sugary yet obnoxious tone of voice is... Hakuba?! Saguru: You’ve made quite the stir in Paris. They’re all talking about how France’s Chat Noir is going to go up against you in Japan. Kaito: Idiot! It’s not me. It’s Kaitou KID! Saguru: Ha… it doesn’t really matter. I’ll share some information that I gathered over here. [Info dump cut from dialogue] Well! That’s about all I have to say. Do your best. I don’t want to see you lose to anyone until I capture you myself. Kaito: Like I’ve been saying, I’m not KID! Saguru: Oops, it’s almost time for the Paris Fashion Week. See you! Kaito: H-hey…
The only part of this conversation that I could consider to fall into the territory of antagonistic is when Saguru says “I don’t want to see you lose to anyone until I capture you myself.” And more than anything, I think this is less reflective of a real desire to capture Kaito, and more reflective of his competitive nature. Not to mention, within the context of the conversation, it feels much more like teasing than anything.
Saguru’s motivation for making the call is clear: He doesn’t want Kaito to lose, and he wants to help ensure Kaito’s success.
And most interestingly (although I’d like to see the raw manga to confirm this, or otherwise a more literal translation) he never explicitly calls Kaito KID either. Outside of alluding to KID’s actions, Saguru doesn’t explicitly say Kaito is KID or mention KID at all. It’s Kaito who does that.
When Kaito points out that he is not, in fact, KID, Saguru doesn’t argue. He simply brushes off the denial and shares the information he’s collected.
So, to summarize what we’ve covered so far: after Saguru failed to arrest Kaito during chapter 17, he stopped troubling Kaito so thoroughly that the next time he features in the story isn’t until he’s calling from overseas to try to lend Kaito some helpful information. He’s not even playing a part in trying to capture this thief he allegedly wants to catch.
And then, Saguru dips back out of the narrative, although for a shorter period this time. The next arc he appears in is a few chapters later--the Nightmare Heist which he arrives in the middle of. But, there’s not any interaction between him and Kaito, nor any allusions made by Saguru about KID’s identity, so we’ll move on.
The fourth time Saguru makes any indication that Kaito is KID is during the Corbeau arc, when KID is being challenged by a clad-in-black KID lookalike.
Before jumping into that specific scene, though, there’s another interaction I’d like to call attention to--between Saguru and Nakamori. Not because of something Saguru says, but because of what he doesn’t say.
Nakamori: Hahaha! Looks like you let your guard down because you thought I was at home with a cold! Saguru: Our plan succeeded, it seems. Nakamori: But I only told Aoko I had a cold, so how does KID know…? Saguru: Hm...
If Saguru were wanting to make some kind of accusation, even a non-explicit one, he would have made some remark. Instead, he doesn’t say anything at all, which continues to speak to the fact that he isn’t really interested in implicating Kaito.
Anyway, the next time Saguru makes any sort of implication that Kaito is KID he is, once again, trying to help. Last time it was over the phone, so the conversation was private. This time, the conversation is in a classroom, although based on the panels, it seems like Saguru and Kaito are alone at the beginning--or at least, no attention is being paid to them.
[Fourth scene where Saguru makes direct indications as to KID’s identity]
Kaito: [Talking to himself] It must be the case, there’s no other way. There must have been some trick with the case.
Saguru: [Eavesdropping, apparently alone in the room with him] The case didn’t contain any hidden mechanisms. Kaito: Eh? Saguru: No hidden doors or things like that, as are often used in magic tricks. Kaito: W-what on earth are you talking about? Saguru: A new notice from Corbeau arrived this morning. ‘I’ll come and take the real Midnight Crow tonight.’ My name is Hakuba--so I don’t want a ‘white’ person to lose to some ominous black crow. [From here, Akako and then Aoko jump into the conversation.]
Surely a classroom is a risky place to have a conversation about KID, but the nice thing is that Saguru--once again--doesn’t bring up KID at all beyond saying that he doesn’t want the ‘white[-clad] person’ to lose to the black crow. From the outside looking in, all he’s doing is sharing information about the case with Kaito. It may also seem unwarranted from that perspective, but not at all implicating.
Also, another thing I’d like to call attention to is that when Akako joins the conversation (and seemingly blindsides Saguru, as if he wasn’t expecting anyone else to join), Saguru stops talking. He continues to be quiet when Aoko chimes in, and he doesn’t have any relevant dialogue for the rest of the scene.
Once again, Saguru’s clearly motivated to share information in the interest of helping Kaito. He has to share with Kaito’s civilian identity, since he can’t exactly arrange a conversation with KID, and this is likely the easiest way for him to do it. He makes no accusations, and this time he doesn’t even imply he wants KID caught.
So--Saguru is a part of the narrative again, but since rejoining the narrative he seems less interested in actually catching KID and far more interested in helping Kaito. And no accusations or incriminating allusions have been made since chapter 17, before Saguru’s first hiatus from the story.
The final time Saguru nods to Kaito being KID is from the Sun Halo arc. This is probably the interaction that’s closest to what fanon tends to depict when it comes to Saguru making subtle accusations that Kaito is KID. And even then, I tend to take this arc with a grain of salt if only because it felt less like Gosho was trying to add to the story and more like he was just trying to make a Magic Kaito addition that hit various fan expectations while still being wildly disappointing, lmao.
[Fifth scene where Saguru makes direct indications as to KID’s identity]
Saguru: [approaching and commenting on Kaito’s motorcycle] I see, a Suzuki GSX 250R. Akako: Ah, Hakuba-kun… Saguru: You’ve shown me something interesting. Perhaps this might help the police tonight. And could it be that you’ve forgotten… that the only motorised bikes we’re allowed to ride to school are scooters? Kaito: Eh?! For real?!
Once again, Saguru doesn’t explicitly mention KID at all--and segues from his mention of the police to pointing out that Kaito is breaking the rules right now, actually, which helps blend this teasing comment into the conversation.
Yes, later in the chapter Saguru does show up with a team of motorcycle experts. But that also means there’s more disguise opportunities for KID and more factors to account for, thus complicating things for, well, everyone--not just KID.
Also, I tend to dismiss that as Gosho throwing in some comedy, and as less to do with Saguru’s character. Call it cherrypicking if you like :P
To recount--there are five times where Saguru implies Kaito is KID.
The first two are in chapter 17, when Saguru first puts it together, and it is during this chapter that he gets the most explicit about calling Kaito out as KID, as well as the most aggressively he behaves about it. And he backs off so hard after that doesn’t work, that we don’t see him for several chapters.
The next two times he implies Kaito is KID are both in order to help him. No aggression or accusations, just the sharing of information. Even when teasing or suggesting he’s interested in catching KID, he’s good-natured about it, and when he realizes there are potentially people witnessing the conversation, he stops participating.
The final time he implies Kaito is KID is a tiny comment about finding something Kaito has shown him ‘interesting’ and ‘helpful for the police’ before smoothing into gently teasing Kaito for bringing an illegal vehicle to school.
In conclusion, Saguru may start off apparently aggressive in part thanks to early Magic Kaito’s overall tone, but rather than persevering in trying to catch Kaito after cornering him in chapter 17, he actually seems to back off. Once he’s playing a part in the narrative again, when he interacts with Kaito it’s almost exclusively to help him. Yes, he is on the task force and participating at heists, but where it matters, he’s less interested in catching the thief and far more interested in those the thief is opposing (excluding the police force).

Do you have any more F/F KaiShin among your WIPs?
Eyup. Several. Only one with enough written it's worth sharing. This one's called Gay Disaster AU (not the final title) and it's low-key Kaito's POV to Counter though it covers different content. Different vibes entirely. Same as the previous asks. Unfinished, very rough condition, and if you hate certain ships, consider it in there because I'm not tagging all the ships. Same goes for queer content of any stripes.
5.
"Hakuba! Hakuba, help!" Kaito said, kicking open the door. She staggered into the classroom, clutching her heart. "I'm gay."
Hakuba looked up from what he was reading and rolled his eyes. "Yes, I gathered that fact from your reading material." He looked pointedly at the BL novel on her desk.
"Hakuba, you don't understand. I'm gay," Kaito stressed.
Hakuba closed the BL novel he was reading, and looked at her. "Yes, we've had this conversation. It ended with me covered in your tears and snot and us debating the merits of push-up bras."
That was a very good day.
Kaito shook her head. "Hakubastard, I'm in lesbians with the coolest woman in the entire world," Kaito wailed.
Hakuba let out a sigh. “That sounds very much like a you problem.”
Kaito frowned, her face twisted in an exaggerated pout. “Don’t be a dick.”
“I thought you’d made it perfectly clear that’s just my personality,” Hakuba said.
Kaito let her head fall to his shoulder. “I’m serious,” she said, her voice muffled.
Hakuba gave her shoulder a delicate pat. “Only you could fall in love with someone who kicked a football towards your head at mach two.”
Kaito sighed dreamily. “Right?” Then she shook her head like a dog. “That wasn’t me. That was Kaitō Kid. Who is very male. A manly male specimen of masculinity.”
“Uh huh,” Hakuba said in agreement, his tone of voice quite clear that he didn’t agree with her at all.
Kaito leaned all her weight on him and groaned. “What am I going to do?”
"Ask Kudō-kun out on a date, naturally."
Kaito cut her eyes at him. "I'll ask her when you ask Hattori-chan."
Hakuba tugged at his collar. "I'm not in love with that ill-tempered harridan." His blush gave him away, though.
"Uh huh," Kaito said in agreement, her tone of voice quite clear she didn't agree with him at all. "That's why she's all you could talk about after that killer detective island case."
Hakuba affectionately knocked his head against hers and groaned. Kaito hugged him tightly, patting his back. "There, there."
A sultry laugh. "You two are intimate so early in the morning," Akako said, crossing her arms and leaning against a nearby desk. "Interesting."
"This is a queer disaster area," Kaito said, her voice mournful. "Let us die in peace."
"Is Hakuba-kun giving us more rhapsodies of his tall, bladed warrior?" Akako mused. "I'm sorry I missed it."
"Have you seen her in hakama though?" Kaito asked. "It's enough to make anyone swoon." She tilted her head back, putting the back of her hand on her forehead.
"I'm not interested in her looks," Hakuba said, fidgeting.
"No, just her charming personality," Kaito muttered.
Hakuba cleared his throat and continued. "Besides, this isn't about me, it's about you."
"Oh, I missed something?" Akako purred.
"Kuroba is 'in lesbians with the coolest woman in the world,' apparently," Hakuba said.
"That is new," Akako said, eyebrow raised.
"I am a big fat lesbian and I want Kudō to step on me," Kaito said with a nod.
The three of them tilted their heads, imagining it. "That would be a nice view," Akako grudgingly admitted.
Aoko arrived, taking one look at the three of them and sighing, rolling her eyes. "Is Kaito having her daily breakdown?"
"And it is spreading," Hakuba said, glum. "Heiji-kun's crush on Kazuha-san is legendary," he said.
Aoko glanced towards Akako, blush on her face, then looked away. "Have you tried talking to her?"
"I—"
"She ran away after she confessed and hasn't talked to her in over a month," Hakuba said.
Kaito punched him lightly in the arm. "Traitor," she said, scowling.
"Ouch," Aoko said. "Poor girl. You need to talk to her."
"I'll do that when you talk to Akako," Kaito muttered, just loud enough for her to hear.
"Fine! Akako, will you go out with me?" Aoko said, flippant.
Kaito’s mouth dropped in shock.
“Yes,” Akako said.
Aoko froze. “You weren’t supposed to accept!” Aoko said, her face red hot.
“Then don’t ask questions with answers you aren’t prepared for,” Akako said, flipping her hair. Her cheeks were the faintest pink.
"You're blushing!" Kaito said in demented glee, pointing her finger at Akako, "I can't believe you're blushing! You! The legendary kūdere!"
"We're dating," Aoko said faintly, in awe.
"You're one to talk," Akako hmphed. "Now you must keep your end of the bargain." She poked her breast. "Talk." She poked her again. "To." Again. "Kudō!"
"Owwww," Kaito said, rubbing at her breast. "Do I have to?"
"Yes!" Hakuba, Aoko, and Akako chorused.
"Fine! You're all mean and I hate every single one of you!" Kaito said, faking a sob.
4.
"Who was right~?" Aoko asked Kaito, sing-song. She elbowed him in the side. "Who was right?"
"You were," Kaito said, grumpy, crossing his arms.
"I do have the smartest girlfriend in the world," Akako said with a smirk.
"So when do we get to meet her?" Aoko said, hands clasped together in front of her, sparkles in her eyes.
"Never," Kaito vowed. "You're all bad enough. I can't imagine what you'd all do together."
"Someone's grumpy," Hakuba said.
"What is this, pick on Kaito day?" Kaito asked.
"Yes. It's absolutely pick on Kaito day. Every day," Hakuba said, wrapping his arms around him and knuckling his hair.
"Hey," Kaito said, pushing him off and glaring.
Akako laughed behind her hand.
The Blue Parrot shop bell tinkled. "Um, hello?" Shinichi said as she entered the bar.
Kaito bounded over to her, wrapping her in a hug. "You came!"
She wrapped her arms back around him, stepping on her tiptoes to press a kiss to his cheek. "Of course I did. You asked," she said simply.
Kaito blushed, a goofy grin on his face.
"You look good in the girl's uniform," Shinichi said. "It's cute."
"Ah," Kaito said, scratching his cheek. "About that—"
Shinichi pulled back to look at him, tilting her head.
Well, it's not like he had any problems really with the concept of femininity, it was the expectations, and something about the casual way Shinichi dismissed all of that ignited something in him, and he felt far more comfortable referring to himself now.
"You look good in everything," Shinichi said, and Kaito preened. "It's a little unfair."
He grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the bar. "Guys guys guys this is my girlfriend," he said proudly, grabbing Shinichi by the arms and thrusting her forward.
"Uh, hi?" Shinichi said.
A chorus of hellos and introductions and nice to meet yous. Then Aoko asked, "So have you stepped on Bakaito yet?"
Shinichi's eyes widened. "I beg your pardon?"
"Ahoko, that's none of your business," Kaito said, his face hot.
"What? I was just joking!"
Shinichi laughed. Such a beautiful sound. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and turned to Kaito. "Do you want me to? I will."
"Yeah," Kaito said weakly.
She stood on her toes, whispering something filthy in his ear.
Kaito whimpered, and Shinichi laughed again.
"Kudō," Hakuba said evenly.
"Hakuba," Shinichi replied.
"He's dying to ask you about Hattori-chan," Kaito whispered loudly.
"Kuroba!" Hakuba hissed.
"He has a crush," Kaito added helpfully.
Shinichi raised her eyebrows. “On Hattori? Good luck,” she said. “You’ll need it.”
Hakuba slumped. Kaito patted his head. "There, there."

Last anon made me curious now... who do you think is stronger emotionally? (Between Kaito and Shinichi) I think it's Shinichi because the stuff he has gone through is a lot worse than Kaitos, even though Kaito isn't having a walk in the park either.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF dude, okay. Now, here I’m gonna have to agree with you on this one.
Don’t get me wrong. Kaito is incredibly strong. He had to deal with his father’s death when he was little, now his mom is... almost constantly out of the picture. He has it difficult. And here’s the thing- he actually strikes me as more of a lonely person than Shinichi does. I know, most people would scream at me because WHAT? HAPPY CHEERY KAITO??? SOCIAL BUTTERFLY KAITO WHO IS ALWAYS CRACKING JOKES AND PRANKING PEOPLE “LONELY”? YOU CRAZY??? Well I just- don’t think Kaito is as happy and cheery as he pretends to be. And I definitely don’t think he’s as social as he’s portrayed to be most of the time in fanon.
Canon Kaito has Jii as his only connoisseur, the ONLY person who knows he’s Kid and who he can talk to freely (Hakuba doesn’t count because Kaito hasn’t admitted it and they don’t share things, at least not from Kaito’s side, willingly). He has Aoko, that’s true. He has Nakamori, who actually likes him. But I’m sorry, I don’t think Kaito considers neither Akako nor Hakuba his friends, at least not for now. (NOT TO SAY THAT I DON’T ENJOY WHAT FANON HAS DONE TO EXPLORE THEIR DYNAMICS PEOPLE, I LOVE THE EKODA GANG, THEY COOL).
He’s suffering because he’s pursuing something that he’s not even sure exists, and he’s all alone doing something that he mostly doesn’t want to do, he’s commiting crimes, he could go to prison, his life could go to shit if he screws it, and it’s all because of his father, who has... btw, taught him some ways that are incredibly harmful emotionally (the whole poker face thing seems really hurtful to me, and I think we can all agree on that). And don’t even get me started on the whole Toichi might be alive thing because I WILL lose it. Kaito definitely doesn’t deserve that, and for a manga that’s supposed to be more lighthearted it would be an incredibly dark twist, I don’t even know how Kaito would possibly react to something like that being true and it honestly scares me. Kaito does not deserve that at all, and I think I’d rather have Toichi stay dead.
Kaito has to be able to move on eventually, leave the whole Kid thing behind so he can start to be truly open and honest with Aoko, because up until then... I’m not sure if he would be emotionally mature enough or prepared enough to be able to be in a serious relationship with her. Which is one of the main reasons why I will always stay on the “Kaito has to find Pandora soon and then quit being Kid” part of the fandom. I’m not sure if it’s a popular opinion or not, but I’ve definitely seen some saying that Kaito should keep doing heists after the Pandora thing is resolved, and I can’t say that that would sit right with me?
But here’s the thing. At least Kaito has some stability in his life atm. He has calm between the storms. He has a normal life to go back to after dropping the Kid cape. He has his own body. He chose to be doing what he’s doing. And he’s aware of all dangers and possibilities. He knows the risks and he accepted them by putting on the Kid costume. But Shinichi... Shinichi doesn’t have any of that.
Shinichi’s life was taken from him because of his good intentions. He made ONE mistake, and now all of his life is gone. His stability and everyday life was stolen because he was too eager, too innocent, too curious to see the danger ahead of him. He didn’t deserve to have that happen to him. The experience of that night would be traumatic on its own to most. The pain he had to endure, all of it- He thought he was going to die. He should’ve died. But he didn’t, and now he has to put up an act all day, everyday, 24/7, from the moment he gets up to the moment he goes back to sleep.
And yes, Shinichi strikes me as more social, which goes along with the fact that more people know his secret than Kaito’s (and he has more people to share his thoughts with, Heiji on his own is a pretty important anchor for Shinichi’s emotional stability). But you can also see that it also causes him incredible pain. He misses his life so much, he misses Ran (because even if he sees her everyday, it’s not as himself, it’s not Shinichi who she’s talking to or looking at), he misses Sonoko (fight me on this), he misses his friends at school, he misses his house, and he misses his body. Shinichi was stolen of EVERYTHING he had quite literally. And he’s learning an incredibly hard lesson through that. He goes through his days knowing that the slightest slip up will get him and everyone he loves killed. He knows the consequences of his actions now, and it’s scary as fuck.
They are both so strong, I could never, the stress and pression alone would make most people crumble. But they don’t, at least for now. We’ll see how that holds up. But my vote goes to Shinichi here.

DCMK Superhero AU. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Gosh, my superhero education is one Marvel movie per decade and a brief X-Men phase years ago. That being said, let’s do this.
Black Org
Vermouth. One of those make-you-think-up-is-down-and-your-friends-are-enemies illusionists. Nobody can be sure they’re not in one of her illusions at any given point in time. Other BO members treat her with care.
Vodka. No useful powers of his own, basically a booster for his allies.
Bourbon. Charisma +100. Can weasel any secret out of anyone, can convince anybody to do anything. Soft and squishy, but never gets damaged anyway because no one wants to hit him.
Gin. Frankly already has a superpower, and it’s his impeccable hair. An appendage unto itself, it grows longer or shorter at his behest, twists itself into whatever shape he wants, and of course, smooths itself out into sleek, flowing locks when not being used.
Rum. Shapeshifting.
Protags
Heiji. Super-speed.
Ran. Can phase through solid objects, Kitty-Pryde-style. Also punches really, really hard. Stores medical supplies in her hair-horn.
Shinichi. A normal human, but he’s the leader anyway, thanks to his perception, quick thinking, and people skills. Later Haibara builds an Iron-Man-type suit for him so he can join in battles.
Haibara. The scientist of the team, but also ice powers. She can, and will, freeze your soul. She left an override in Shinichi’s suit keyed to her voice, and when he pisses her off she makes him do little undignified dances. Goes by “Haibara” after running away from the Black Org even though she’s not shrunken.
Kaito. Is basically Batman in canon, anyway. No changes.
Agasa. “Wise” old mentor dude, no powers. Gets kidnapped a lot.
Kazuha. Distorts reality, but she can’t really control it. Battles become 100x more chaotic when she’s around.
Sera. Can make temporary copies of herself.
Kogoro. Super-strength, but it only activates when he’s drunk, so he’s not very reliable in battle either. He becomes like a confused Pokémon, as liable to hit friends as enemies. (With the exception of Ran. But he’s twice as likely to hit Shinichi.)
Akako. The team’s sole psychic. Jean Grey levels of powerful, but she kind of just wants to fuck around on the mortal plane. An immense asset in battle when she feels like it, which most of the time she doesn’t.
All the police officers are still police officers.
Story
Haibara’s override actually does save Shinichi’s life at one point, when she spots something he can’t see and makes him duck.
But Shinichi gets really tired of her taking over his suit whenever the hell she feels like it, and bribes Agasa into taking out the override. Agasa succeeds, and at Shinichi’s request even installs a patch so that it can’t be re-implemented.
The suit gets damaged next battle, and Shinichi’s forced to ask Haibara to fix it. But, he thinks, he’s safe with Agasa’s patch.
The next time he puts it on, it plays “Small World” in his ear on repeat.

Me on my way to lore dump about Trinity!AU Morro I just think he’s neat. (also doodle down the bottom if you’re interested)
Morro specialises in one-on-one combat. He prefers to sneak up on people from behind and to rely on surprise as an advantage.
His element of wind makes him able to separate a group and take each person at a time, or he can leave the rest of the group to whoever he is fighting alongside.
He can use his element of wind to allow himself to hover for short periods of time or to blast him up into the sky. He cannot use it to fly
He usually fights with two Katanas. He and Lloyd can also share if one of them lost their weapons or smth.
Morro is the most reserved compared to his other siblings. His love for people only goes so far thus he prefers to keep to himself.
The eldest of three siblings, Morro had spent all of his childhood training to become the green ninja, as it was stated that one of them do so in prophecies. It was believed that he would be the green ninja. He and Akako seemed to bond over this training and she supported him through all those years.
Their father Garmadon didn’t often show up, nor did Misako. Thus it was up to Wu to raise the three kids. Their childhood was built of mostly training, and not much ‘playing around’. Akako did slack off there and again with the youngest, Lloyd. But Morro consistently worked hard to earn the title of the green ninja.
When the time finally came, Morro was shown the golden weapons, and unfortunately not being chosen for the green ninja— to everyone’s surprise. After a heated argument with Wu and in a fit of rage he ran away. To him the past 17 years of his life were ultimately for nothing. He didn’t plan on returning, or even saying goodbye at this rate.
Both Garmadon and Misako blamed Wu for Morros’ disappearance, for building up his false sense of hope. In fear that Wu would turn to Akako or even Lloyd they had decided to take the two after a year or so when Morro was presumed dead.
Morro had been constantly travelling, and didn’t plan on settling down. He didn’t have anywhere to go in all honesty. He began studying said prophecies, trying to make sense of it all, why he wasn’t the one chosen of the three of them.
He had eventually discovered the existence of the cloud kingdom, and how they were the ones who wrote everything that was to be. He became obsessed, trying to find a way to find this kingdom. This is what lead to his obsession with the realm crystal.
This obsession however would lead to his demise, as his bones still remain today in the Caves of Despair.
After his spirit being banished to the Cursed Realm, his extensive knowledge on the Realm Crystal came to light, and was manipulated enough by the Preeminent to locate the realm crystal for her own twisted needs. She did this with the use of his rage towards Wu and the prophecy of the green ninja, especially since the youngest sibling, Lloyd, had been given the role of the Green Ninja.
He had possessed and tortured Lloyds soul in the events of Season 5. This possession had given Lloyd wounds under his eyes, to which the scars still show today. By the time he had abandoned Lloyds body, Lloyd was absolutely exhausted. When he had obtained the realm crystal he had put the preeminents' needs over his own, and opened the portal in order to curse ninjago and the 16 realms. However this plan failed when Nya had reached her true potential, defeating the preeminent.
In the final events Wu had tried to save Morro’s life, promising that they could start fresh. Morro however believed that he was beyond saving, and gave Wu the realm crystal before being dragged into the sea.
The events during day of the departed follow as usual, however when Morro makes amends with Wu and his soul is cleansed, he too is revived alongside Cole.
In the events that follow Morro does little himself to earn the trust of the ninja nor Lloyd. However Akako and Wu both try to attempt bonding with him again. Akako is more successful, and he loosens up just an insy bit. He eventually joins the ninja, now rocking teal lets go baby 💪💪💪💪
Him and Lloyd still have some healing to do, but itll come with time.

In regards to the Akako-Pandora connection while I did think about Akako being Pandora, I was thinking more along the lines of the red magic being some kind of bastardized imitation of Pandora's powers. Like it started out as magic to promote healing & growth but became twisted over time to the point where it's practically unrecognizable when compared to how it started.
Ah now that’s interesting. Akako in general hasn’t been explored all that much but the only fic I know of that did tackle her was the Bible of Fanfic, When Pandora’s Box is Opened which had her raised in the Organization but who gave herself to dark magic in order to lose her memories and escape. It was fascinating.

♡[I said i wouldn't fall inlove with you]♡
Obey me!
◇[Solomon x reader]◇
A/N - this is shitty and cringe but i need fluff for my man solomon, he deserves the world
I told myself i wouldn't fall for such guy like him but why did his smile gave me such comfort? Always looking in his eyes and his words felt like a lullaby?
—————————————————
"Pftt no way i would fall for an idiot like you who can't cook!" I rolled my eyes playfully "that hurts you know" solomon cries in a dramatic way
—————————————————
You shouldn't trust solomon they said but he was always there for me since day 1 and he had no ill intentions
—————————————————
"Hey solomon! Wanna go to disney land? I wanna have more time with you" i sigh as i walk up to him "oh? Is this your way of asking me out on a date? If so i'll gladly accept" he jokes "no idiot" i playfully smack him "well if you see this as a date sure i'll let you see this as a date" i chuckled. Am i really gonna fall for him?
—————————————————
When it was the end of the exchange program and the holidays was coming i asked him
"Do you wanna spend the holidays with me?" I looked at him just as the portal closed so i wouldn't hear the protest of certain demons
"I mean you spent most of the holidays alone.. why not stay with me for awhile my family are really busy this year so we can't celebrate as a whole"
Over the few weeks we had tons of fun and built a snowman and had snowball fights
I refused to believe i fell inlove with him at first, the more i got closer to him the more the feelings grew stronger
Kissing someone under the mistletoe. its a classic thing on christmas we all know, you thought i would kiss him under the mistletoe? Your damn wrong i kissed him infront of the snowman we built! Yeah it sounds cringe but love can be like that to people
—————————————————
"I said i wouldn't fall inlove with you" i looked at the beautiful sunrise infront of us "but i did" we both chuckled "'i wasn't gonna fall for an idiot who can't cook well' i guess im your idiot" he says with a mischievous smirk "pft we're both idiots".
