For all your drawing/writing needs, I made some annotated maps of the Night Raven College campus! I saw one of these done for the entire campus map that was annotated in Japanese, so I wanted to make one in English!

There's some locations on the maps that we don't know what they're used for yet (as of the end of Ch 7) and I marked those locations with a "???" until we get clarifications on what they're for (what the hell is that weird L-wall for near the chicken coops anyway??). But! regardless, I hope this is useful to whomever needs them!

🪽Flight Fest Race🪽

(synopsis)

---------------------------------------------------

An event where Peyn and Pan have to go back home at the shaftlands in Feather-Fair City to participate in the annual Flight Fest Race

The race consists of five teams, Each team has five members and each member is placed within different areas that each have its own obstacles that they need to avoid in order to pass on parts of a staff to the next member, the final player has to assemble the staff as well as avoid their own obstacles in order to reach the finish line , players are not allowed to turn back or stop moving at all

it was originally Pan's brother Argos that was supposed to participate, and due to unfortunate timing, Argos got sick and is unable to partake in the Flight Fest

and with the teammates knowing they wouldn't be able to win without Argos they decide to drop out of the competition

and since the Nikos family sponsors the Flight Fest, they ask Pan to participate in his brother's place

so Pan tries to gather members for the Race and asks Peyn to help him look for people who would want to participate

Peyn asks his fellow Spelldrive members if they would want to participate in Feather-Fair City's celebration, after a lot of convincing (for mostly Leona) the spelldrive club agrees to participate in the race

CRYING ABOUT THIS ACTUALLY.... DO YOU KNOW THE IMPLICATION OF THIS.... realistically, one of the first words of babies are referring to their mothers and the last "true parent" that held Silver was his mother, Princess Leia, but here baby Silver called out for his father, and Lilia didnt taught him that😭

Now these words might be calling out to Lilia now, but I'm also thinking since TWST is a world where babies can recall words or songs they heard even when theyre "not concious yet", I was thinking baby Silver heard this word when he was still with Dawn 😭😭😭 Imagine Dawn holding this baby and guiding him to speak his first words like "papa"... and thats like Dawn's last moment with Silver... AAAAA 😭😭😭😭

since this was still infant Silver, I was thinking this memory occured when Silver was adopted by Lilia only a week or months ago 😭✨ so its still possible that baby silver was reacting based on his past (which can potentially be baby Silver is remembering Dawn through Lilia in this scene)

Kaiju AU Island Concept

Hello everyone!

I'm technically still on hiatus, but I wanted to share something I had been working on before I made my hiatus announcement.

So as you can tell by the title, I'd been working on sketching out a rough-ish map of sorts for the island that we find ourselves on in the Twisted Kaijuland AU. This was so I could have a better idea on the locations of each area so far, as well as concepts on where exactly important locations are located/could be located!

As you can see, compared to my initial story idea, it's grown from being one big island to several islands connected to the main one (aka the staff's island) to denote each dorm's territory.

Keep in mind that this is still a rough draft so I could get my thoughts down, but I want to at least start developing visuals to help with the storytelling as I get around to properly rewriting the Kaiju!AU.

Some location comments:

Elderclaw/Trein's den is near a waterfall, which was chosen to have a tranquil spot to relax in and enjoy the peace as well as have a source of water to help his aching old bones. It's still elevated enough that even during the rainy seasons, there's no risk of flooding and he stays warm.

Crewelfang/Crewel's den is located under a massive willow-like tree, which is where one may find a myriad of flora and other medicinal fungi or roots that he harvests, though he can and will trade some of what he has in exchange for Ragebloom/Riddle's ability to accelerate the growth rate of herbs, fruit, and fungi he needs.

Shadowdrifter/Sam's nests are a mystery to the researchers, as he's been notoriously difficult to pin down location wise. He's always popping up wherever at seemingly random, yet no one knows where he disappears to when it comes time to rest for the night. Or perhaps...he doesn't rest? That's still a working theory, though many can't help but feel his eyes watching them...even when the cameras are off.

There are research facilities located in various points of the island, and there were supposed to be more, but...I kinda ran out of space while trying to figure out where everything would go, and the sizing of the areas aren't exactly accurate!

Each island is connected to the main staff island through land bridges, some of which only appear at certain times of the day or month (hadn't decided which yet or how to incorporate the mirror transportation magic form the game yet). One way to tell which one you're close to is what's around each land bridge: a lush jungle for Heartslabyul, grasslands for Savanaclaw, topside coral reef like from the first Croods movie (hadn't marked that on there I just realized) for Octavinelle, a beach with gold-colored sand for Scarabia, a noxious woodland with toxic yet beautiful plants and other deadly things, a kaiju graveyard for Ignihyde, and the ship graveyard for Diasomnia. I'll likely add more features to some of these in the future, but for now this is still a rough draft!

There are other locations and features I want to add to the map itself (same with the others once I design them), but I wanted to at least share the progression as I continue working on things one step at a time. Hope you guys enjoy!

Book 7 - Battle Maps/Node Battles

I'm just writing this in case it can help someone get past the Node Battles in Book 7 - The Lord of Malevolence.

I am a F2P player (Free to Play) Which means I have never paid anything in this game, so all my tips can be used by any player as well.

I've always managed to get through these battles on the first day and I'll tell you what I usually do. My method is certainly not the best out there, but it works very well, at least for me.

1. Choose characters according to the number of SSR

I first see how many SSR cards I have of each character and choose the characters at the beginning of the node according to that number.

For example: I always choose Idia because I have 3 SSRs of him, then I choose characters that have 2 SSRs each and if I can still choose more I choose the ones that have 1 SSR.

When I'm undecided about which character to choose, I check out the Duo Magic.

For example: My best card is Azul's Dorm Uniform SSR whose Duo Magic is with Riddle and I happen to have 1 Riddle SSR, so if it makes sense I'll put Riddle on my list too.

2. Just fight the necessary battles

Don't worry about unlocking all parts of the map, you can do it in the 2nd round.

When you finish one of these node battles map, all your cards regenerate as new, but the map remains with the parts you unlocked.

So what I do in the first round is to only fight the battles necessary to finish the map, choosing the least difficult ones if I can and avoiding the most difficult ones.

Once I finish the map and load it back, I can choose the characters again (I usually stick with the same ones) and when the map opens, all the parts I unlocked remain unlocked and I just need to unlock the ones I have left with all my cards regenerated. (I talk about this in point 6)

3. SR are your pawns

Do you know how in chess the pawns can be sacrificed? This is what I do with the SRs.

Following the logic of only fighting the necessary battles, when I choose a relatively easy battle like 2 or 3 stars, I use SRs to save my SSRs for the more difficult battles.

But, I still use SRs at max card level and with the spells at least at level 5.

SRs do the job and there is no big problem in losing them in battle, but it is good to have them strong enough to last longer or even fight more than 1 or 2 battles.

4. Get all the help you can

Whenever there is a chance for me to gain advantages in battles, such as healing cards or buffs and debuffs, I take them all!

5. Save your best SSRs for the final battle.

The last battle is usually the hardest so it's a good idea to try and save your best 5 SSRs for that time.

Even if you lose in the first round of the battle, you will still be able to do enough damage to make it easier in the next round with other cards.

But you can use other SSRs in other battles that are relatively difficult.

I usually use SSRs to win the fight quickly or at least cause enough damage so that if I only have SRs left, they can win on the next attempt.

6. Second round

So, I said I would play these maps twice: the first time to progress the story and the second time to unlock the entire map. And like I said, the map will be the same as you left it and all your cards will be completely regenerated.

The hardest first.

Here I reverse the rules of the first round, take advantage of the fact that you have all your cards at max and start with the most difficult battles, as there is no longer the problem of losing cards. Even if you start losing your SSRs, the SRs can handle the less difficult battles, and so, in principle, you can complete the map.

I think these are all the things I think about when I play. I hope this can be useful to someone. ❤️ And if you want to share more tips, feel free to comment them.
