This has been on my mind for SUCH a long time, but I can’t hold back anymore:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
185 cm tall, exceeding the height requirement. The “air of nonchalance” actually referred to the Phantom Bride’s “perfect prince” being slim in the Japanese version
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know Crowley has skincare routines with all of his personal grooming and massages he talks about 🙏his skin is best quality for being like 700 years old 👆 I’m sure his eyes are very handsome, AND HIS SMILE IS SO CHARMING AUGHHH 💖💖💖🐦‍⬛
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
😤Rook describes a crow’s feathers as being iridescent…this is shimmering, right?! Crowley’s hair is slightly iridescent in my eyes 🗣️ And I’m sure you all know my opinion about the last part as well NAJXJD
Tumblr media
“A preposterously prepossessing (attractive/appealing) gentleman,,,” Crowley canonically describes himself as handsome 😤👆
Crowley is…the perfect prince 🐦‍⬛
(Actually, Crowley- why did you meet all these qualifications for the ghost *marriage* event 🤨 are you perhaps a prince or some form of royalty- *gets King’s Roared* /hj 😭)

Idia was having a terrible, horrible, no-good night. Emphasis on the horrible. He was literally just seconds away from being ghosted, and in quite the literal sense too. And he was about to get married against his will! If it was to one of his favorite characters, then maybe Idia would've said yes, but this was to a literal ghost who threatened 'eternal love' for him despite having just met him.
He shivered, feeling better now that he could actually move around. He really needed to get out of this getup. And quickly. Before someone made a comment about him being a tokusatsu villain or a cringy cosplayer...
"Ugh, this cravat is literally choking me, no cap," Idia muttered to himself as he slipped into NRC's darkened hallways. "Thank goodness the protag group were busy taking care of the rest..."
"Idia-senpai!" The call of his name made him flinch, though he instantly recognized it to be their voice.
"W-what's up, Prefect-shi...?" Idia hoped his voice didn't betray his nerves as he spoke. It was hard to think straight when he was literally right in front of his c-cru...cru— oh Idia really didn't want to think about the c-word right now.
"I saw you leaving and I wanted to ask if you were okay," The warm smile they gave him had his heart doing somersaults and Idia could almost forget about the bad things that happened that evening. Such was the life of 'Idia the Simp', who was simply happy that the object of his affections cared about him. How sad and loser-like, was he right?
"I'm fine. I mean, aside from my legs literally turning into jelly from standing for so long," Idia mumbled before raising his voice. "That ghost must've been grinding his stats real hard to be able to fight like that."
"I guess so," They mused, falling into step beside him. "I'm really glad that the others made it in time."
"Ace-shi really came in clutch in this one! He was like a hero from some kind of action manga. Actually, weren't they all pretty hero-like?"
Idia continued to ramble excitedly. "I mean, the protagonist's friends arrived fashionably late— and they were all dressed to impress like princes in a dating sim! Riddle-shi being cool and unapproachable, yet shows his awkward and kind side to the protagonist. Epel-shi as the fragile character that you can't help but want to protect, yet also has a cool and alluring side. And finally Rook-shi, the prince of a neighboring country who secretly protects the main character, and instantly gains best boy status when it's revealed—!"
Idia realized just how excited he was getting over nothing— the tips of his hair turning bright orange— and he sighed deeply, "Augh, really, a loser like me could never compare to shiny princes like them..."
"Don't say that," They had stopped walking. The cool night air tickled the back of Idia's neck as he stood rooted in spot. There was quite a serious expression on their face and Idia wondered if he chose the wrong dialogue option somewhere along the line...
"If it counts for anything I think you look really cool— no, a better word would be absolutely dashing," Their nervousness showed in the way they shifted every few seconds, swallowing before continuing.
"Aren't you really prince-like too? The mysterious heir to the throne that no one ever sees who secretly helps the kingdom by masquerading as an inventor. He continues to provide the kingdom with advance technology whilst under the cover of the unlikeable hermit, and the main character is the first one to learn of his secret."
"Wow, that," This time it was Idia's turn to swallow, his own hair tinting a light pink. "T-that almost makes me sound like a good character to romance... You should become a dating sim writer."
They laughed lightly at that, "Thanks, but...what I really wanted to say was... That is..." They took a deep breath before starting again, "Because of tonight and what happened, I thought that life is short. And that I can't possibly control everything, so I should make sure to say what I want to say properly before it's too late. Idia-senpai. I...like you."
Idia could not believe his ears. Was he dreaming? Was this heaven? Did he dream up being saved by Ace and the others but actually he became a ghost and crossed to the other side? He didn't even remember paying the ferry to cross the river Styx!
"Eh?" was all that managed to leave his mouth, his hair fully turning as flushed as his face felt. The gears in his head were turning, but that didn't mean he wasn't losing braincells trying to figure out what was happening. In the first place, the genre of this day changed way too many times! From slice-of-life to survival horror to fighting game, and finally....a romantic visual novel?? Give him a break already!
"Actually. Just forget I said that." They turned around to quickly walk away but Idia grabbed onto their sleeve before they got too far. Oh Sevens, he really chose the most insanely noob-like dialogue option there was on the "Ranking of Things to Say if Someone Confesses to You" (made by Idia Shroud).
"W-wait, this is...way too much information for my brain to handle, I think I need to download extra gigabytes of RAM for this," Idia said under his breath before finally raising his gaze.
The pale moonlight washed everything in blue, and he couldn't help but think that they looked so...pretty even half-obscured in light. Their stare was pinned at the ground and he really needed to say something before they ran away and it was impossible for him to rewind the scene and fiz his mistakes.
"You..." Idia cleared his throat, the pink of his hair fluttering with the passing wind. "Could I p-please hear that dialogue option...once again? I-I promise to give a better answer this time! Or did I already raise a death flag for myself and hurtle myself towards the bad ending? Ah, Idia, this is why you aren't suited to be a otome game protag, you should just stick t—"
The breath was stolen from his lungs as warm palms urgently cradled his face, "Senpai... I don't like hearing the person that I like talking badly about himself all the time. Especially right after I told him how cool he is."
The words came out in a wheeze as he spoke again, "Y-you said 'like' just now? What k-kind of like is that?"
"The 'romantic' type of like," They said, a finger ghosting over his cheek. "The 'I want to play your route till the happy ending' type of like."
"Oh. In a positive way," He hastily added, his hair growing brighter by the second. "Y-you're really good at these...romantic words."
"Of course I am," They gave him a mischievous grin. "I learned from the best games on the market. So what do you say to my proposal?"
Aaaanddd Idia was back to feeling faint again, "T-that was a figure of speech right? I don't think I can handle another proposal so soon—"
"Senpai," They chided softly as Idia tugged at the ends of his hair. "A simple yes or no would suffice."
"Uhm. If you can't already tell by this," Idia pointed to his hair— which was now bright pink and flaming dangerously high. "I'd like to stay with you too. Till the happy ending."
"Till the happy ending," They echoed, smiling as they finally released his face. Idia found himself missing the touch a little....just a little though.
He didn't get the chance to wallow before his hand was being clasped in theirs, "C'mon! Let's get you out of those fancy clothes and play some games in your room already!"
"W-wait a second, Prefect-shi?" Idia flushed harder, if that was even physically possible. "Y-you're skipping too many chapters of the dating stage, you know? There's an order to things!!"
"I meant video games, senpai," They laughed as they skipped in front of him, Idia's own steps frantic to stay close to them. "Get your head out of the gutter."
"R-right," Idia nodded, absolutely mortified for the second— or was it third time?— that night. "I knew that."
And Idia was the subject of their teasings long after the night was over. He had to live through the embarrassment of them recounting the whole story to an all-too-curious Ortho. (Maybe he should've programmed him with less curiosity, but alas he can't go back on his own genius.)
But well, he really couldn't complain. Not when they held his hand so tightly as they watched his favorite movies with him. And especially not when they fell asleep on his shoulder— a cliché that was one of his favorites to date. Idia was sure of it now. No matter what hardships or trials would follow in the future, he would play this route till the happy end.

thank you for reading this very based idia take (pls help i've gamer-talked for too long bc of idia) if you did, please like, subscribe, and check out my masterlist for other works !!
[ mini idia dictionary bc pog ]
tokusatsu villain - tokusatsu refers to a genre of live-action shows that heavily use special effects. think ultraman or kamen rider.
death flag - an action or dialogue that foreshadows an untimely death for a certain character. raising one means to basically accelerate the death of a character, since you're adding more death flags to their roster.
bad ending/happy ending - referring to otome games, where there are multiple endings to different routes that are achievable by changing dialogue/actions throughout the story.
lmk if there are any other terms i should add bc i lost count of the more confusing ones after re-reading this 3 times jskfjdskf

Imagine this...
| Twisted Wonderland |
While being taken by the ghost and talking to the ghost bride, she insisted to be your wing woman and look for your perfect partner date.
Masterlist
A/N: The reader will be female in this scenario. I apologize for the gn readers. Also, I made the reader a hopeless romantic here. Shout out to my hopeless romantic peeps out there.
Tumblr media
Before you and Grim could evacuate with the others outside the campus, the ghosts took you both to be part of the wedding. It turns out both you and Grim were perfect to be a bridesmaid and a ring bearer. The ghost threatened, leaving you two no choice but to follow along.
Now here we are, you, in your light greyish blue bridesmaid dress, helping the bride get ready after she slapped the boys. You strike a conversation with the bride to buy some time for the wedding crashers. Turns out, the both of you grew close and became friends. It is rather refreshing for you to finally talk to another female since you’re stuck in an all-boys school.
She began chattering about Idia and how she's finally marrying the prince of her dreams. You had no choice but to agree since you didn’t want to end up petrified with the boys. It was then you started rambling about yourself with romance.
“You are lucky to finally find someone you believe is perfect for you, your highness. I’ll be honest I am quite jealous of you. You see, I am a hopeless romantic myself, and just like you, I’ve always dreamed of being with someone who truly loves me and is always by my side. Although, I am afraid I may choose the wrong person or wouldn’t find anyone at all, and you know how some boys are. Usually, I have some types and even imagine myself in a perfect relationship, but I thought it would be better to drop my expectations low and just go with the flow. Although there are times that you may believe that the person you’ve liked is the one, it turns out they aren’t. That happened to me once, which is how I grew afraid to confess or make a move. Or maybe, the one was right beside you the entire time but didn’t notice. *sigh* Maybe one day, I’ll be able to find the right person and live happily ever after just like how I dreamed.”
You stopped and looked at Eliza, who was listening in awe. You began pleading, “I am so sorry for rambling, your highness! This day is supposed to be about you. We should’ve talked about you, not me!”
She grabbed both of your hands, “No no! Your words are truly beautiful and aspiring! My friend, you reminded me of myself, and I want to help find your true love! And I think a bridesmaid like you deserve a wonderful date, and I know just where to look for one!”
You flushed in embarrassment and shook your head, “H-Hold on! That won’t be necessary! What about your wedding!?”
“Well, I supposed holding the wedding late won’t hurt. Now if you’ll excuse me, I must find your perfect date!”
“W-W-Wait! Your highness!”
Before you could protest, she flew out of the room. You place your blushed face onto your hands and let out a sigh, “I guess that’s one way to keep her from starting the wedding soon.”
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
All of the boys were still petrified in the cafeteria that is holding the wedding, with a scowl, and impatient faces. They didn’t want to be here in the first place, but they have no choice just to keep their reputation safe. The door opened to see Eliza swoop into the room, and float in front of the boys with a huge smile on her face.
Leona scowled, “Oh, it's you. What do you want? Don’t you have a wedding to get ready for?”
“I do, but I have a lovely friend to help.”
“Okay, but what has it to do with us then?”
“I will give you boys another chance, but this time it is not for me.”
“Huh? What do you mean?” One of them asked.
“You see, my bridesmaid needs a date and I want to help her find one! Since you’re not fit to be my husband, I supposed you’ll be a rightful partner for my bridesmaid.”
Suddenly, the three ghost guards barged into the room, “Your highness! The groom wouldn't stop yelling and the maids were trying to calm him down. And the little cat monster manages to escape!”
“Oh, at this very moment when I need to do something?! Find that little beast immediately!”
“Yes, your highness!”
The three rushed out of the door to search. Eliza groaned and faced the boys. “Excuse me, I’ll be back after I check on my beloved future hubby.” She then flew out.
Vil raised his brow, “A date? For her bridesmaid?”
Azul then followed, “Little cat monster? Could that be…?”
“Oi! Down here!”
They all looked down to see Grim, wearing a white bow and a tiny hat, hiding under the clothed table.
“Thank goodness I found you guys. I manage to lose the ghosts after they chased me. I manage to sneak in as that ghost bride walked in here. Why are you all standing like that?”
“Grim! It's a long story, but we’re stuck frozen,” Jack replied. “What are you doing here? Wait, where’s the prefect?”
“Yeah, isn’t (y/n) supposed to be with you?” Cater followed.
“Now that I remembered,” Deuce called out, “You and (y/n) didn’t make it out of the campus when the ghost chased us out of the building. What happened?”
Grim sighed loudly, “Before we could get out, the ghost took us to be part of this dumb wedding. They made me the… Erm, what do you call it? The one who holds the rings?”
“The ring bearer?” Jade answered.
“Yeah that. And they made (y/n) the bridesmaid. I don’t know where everybody else is.”
“Wait, did you just say (y/n) is the bridesmaid?” Vil questioned.
“Yes, I did.”
“Didn’t that brat bride say she’s looking for someone to be her bridesmaid’s date?” Leona called.
“Indeed she did,” Azul answered, “If that’s the case, that means she is planning to search one of us to be the prefect’s date.”
“Is that so?" Vil smirked, "I supposed I’ll take that role flawlessly.”
“Hah?” Leona snarled, “You seriously think you’re perfect to be (y/n)’s date after you got slapped by the bride?”
“Didn’t you get slapped first?”
All the boys started heating up after learning about Eliza’s plan for you. They wanted to take this opportunity to be your date. The verbal fight caused the ghost guard to barge inside the cafeteria to see the commotion. One of them happens to spot Grim’s tail under the table cloth and snatched him out.
“Gotcha! You little beast!”
“Fnyah!” Grim tried to wiggle out, “Unhand me!”
“Resist now or you’ll end up frozen like these boys by our highness!”
“Mrrr… Okay okay, I’ll stop now.”
The ghost bride and the other guards soon went inside the room.
“Your highness!” A ghost guard called, “We finally found the ring bearer!”
“Well done!” Eliza beamed, “Please secure him somewhere and make sure he won’t escape again.”
“Yes, your highness!”
The two guards walked out with poor Grim who let out a quiet scowl. Eliza turned to the boys and set them free from her magic. The boys moved around and stretched, getting ready for judgment one last time.
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
*Slap* *Slap* *Slap*
Multiple slaps were heard throughout the cafeteria, and the boys have been slapped once again. Eliza started yelling at them about how they aren’t fitted to be her bridesmaid’s suitor. Although in the boys’ defense, she gave them a similar test from earlier.
“Shame on you, all of you! Not only you aren’t fitted to be her suitor, but also annoying, terrible gentlemen. Now that I think about it, you were willing to be someone’s date after I rejected you all. I can’t believe you’re trying to play the girl’s heart. I’m starting to believe you boys don’t know how to treat a girl properly. I don’t understand how she can put up with you all. I've only met her today, and I could tell she has a good heart. I couldn't imagine how you all treat her after everything she done...” She then listed all their flaws one to another, “Firstly, you with small cute ears are rude and not princely-like, and you call yourself a prince. And you, you have a very loud mouth. You are way too timid. And you act like you have a massive ego...”
The boys could only listen and let out a frown, believing every word she puts out to them. Now that they think about it, they remember all the times you have treated nothing but like an object. You always treat them with kindness despite all the trouble they gave you. Ever since you arrived in this world, you, including Grim, were the only ones dealing with every single overblots that happened. And they never gave you a proper “thank you” or anything rewarded but more chaos. The boys could only feel shame and guilt.
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
Fast forward to the end, you’re wearing a bridesmaid dress with a red rose on your ear. The ghost bride finally found her true prince and announces that she and her ghost guard, Puffy, will get married. She then set the boys free from being frozen and to Idia for all of the trouble. After that, she flew towards you, grabbing both of your hands.
“(y/n), my dear friend, I want to thank you for helping me find my true prince.”
You looked at her confused, “Me? But I didn’t do anything.”
“When the boy with the heart mark said all those words, it reminded me of what you said earlier. Thinking about it, I only have high expectations of looking for my true prince because of my obsession. When I was a little girl, I read books; fairytales of princesses being saved by their princes and living happily ever after. I’ve read so many to the point I fantasize about what my prince should be. I was blinded, failed to realize my one, true prince was beside my side all along. You helped me find out and set me free.”
“O-Oh, it’s nothing, really, your highness… Even though it was all Ace who did the talking.”
“Please, just call me Eliza.”
Eliza lets go of your hand and walked toward Puffy. She grabbed a flower bouquet that was dropped to the floor and turned her back towards everyone. She then threw the bouquet behind, and the bouquet flew straight towards you. You grabbed the flowers without hesitation.
Eliza turned facing you, “I hope you find your true prince someday, or maybe a princess.”
You softly smile, “Thank you, Eliza.”
She and Puffy gave everyone a farewell and waved goodbye. They and the rest of the ghosts faded away, entering the afterlife. You looked at the bouquet in your hands, “My true prince…” You turned to all the boys who looked at you, then looked away with their cheeks tinted pink. You glanced at them confused, “Are you guys alright?”
“Erm, yes…” one replied.
You noticed that some have eyes on whatever your hand. You looked down to remember the bouquet you have caught once more, realizing what it meant. “A-Ah… I see now.”

[ eliza x reader ; short, rushed ]
╔═*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*═╗ Night has befallen in the world of twisted wonderland, the lovely glimmer of the stars sprawled across the blanket of darkness shone in the lady’s sapphire-hued eyes. The moon laughed along with them, its pale moonlight seeping through the curved windows, kissing her ghastly-pale skin along the way.
She, Princess Eliza, was eventually to be married, as she had dreamt of this very moment ever since that day when she no longer saw the eternal light, replacing it with abysmal gloom; and yet she continued to beam despite the tragic history. It was all in the past, after all.
Eliza believed that fate will lead to her true love, like in those cliche fairytale stories that she oh so loved, where the handsome prince and the princess culminated in a happy ending. After more than centennial years of desperation to cure her abiding loneliness, she finally found him.
Her prince.
She - the ghosts - convinced herself that the man who stood beside her will be her only one, resulting in the princess - slapping - refusing the handful of suitors asking for her hand in marriage. She vowed to be loyal, yet why was her withered heart fluttering by the sight of the Ramshackle prefect, a mere paramour?
"In simple terms, I'm here to confess my undying love for you, mon amour. My heart wounds at the sight of you with another man, but it is your choice to marry, as follow your heart. After all, it would be a misery if you chose to marry someone you cannot love," you confessed with a heavy heart - well it won't be considered a real confession, the lies that passed through your teeth makes you want to take back those words and shove them down your throat - but you couldn't, not when everyone's life is on the line. You could only stare lovingly at the beautiful bride soaked in the moonlight in front of you, perhaps in another life…
Eliza's eyes dilated with wonder, your words were fleeting but in her mind, they kept playing like a broken record. These thoughts and questions in her mind kept eating her, for her to doubt her love for Idia… she must have gone crazy! The moonlight shone on her pale skin, highlighting the conflicted expression she holds. 'Did I truly love him?'
Seeing her silent state, you awkwardly cleared your throat before muttering, "I see, then.." turning on your back, you took a step.
"Goodbye, my love. til' we meet again, In another life."
Finally snapping back from her dazed state, she hastily turned to look your way, meeting your gaze at the moment. At that moment, she knew what her answer was.
"Wait! Don't leave me, -" she exclaimed in surprise, grasping your hands in hers while everyone watched the dramatic scene unfold in shock. Your breath hitched, what the fuck?!
Eliza looked at you with teary eyes, a serene smile forming on her azure lips. She clasped your hands, putting them on her chest - flustering you, 'what the heck is happening?!'
"Oh, my love! I was blinded this whole time by my desperation, I am sorry for not realizing it sooner. As for my answer to your proposal, Yes!! yes, yes!! I will cherish you forevermore, and nobody can separate us together again! ~"
You stared at her in horror, 'what mess have I gotten myself into?…'

It just hit me that the Ramshackle ghosts knew about Eliza. She's been doing her annual husband hunt for five hundred years. The ghost have only been a around for the past century. Which means they got chased out of the dorm when they were students every year, and again and again for the next ninety. Either it slipped their mind to tell Yuu before they dipped, or Eliza came before they could be warned.
