So you think it would be better to step back for a while but Elijah notices immediately and misses you as you not show up at any occurrence. He later finds you at the Grill, talking with the Salvatores about that topic and Elijah eavesdropped the whole conversation, finally realizing what's wrong with you and feeling bad for this to happen, as he only has eyes and feelings towards you. Then one night he invites you over to his house and tells you about his feelings and that you don't have to worry about Katherine as she's long forgotten to him and he proves that to you that night? ☺️ Ugh I love cute and fluffy Elijah !

First Person's POV 

Elijah and I currently sat in my favourite café, it was normally very quiet and once again today was one of those days. Elijah stared at me with admiration, he held my hand softly in his, rested small kisses on my knuckles and whispered words of devotion. 

"I'm just going to run to the bathroom." Elijah nodded, resting another kiss on my hand and finally let me go off to the bathroom, I did what I needed to do and finally came back out. I stopped in my tracks, seeing a brunette talking to Elijah, he looked less than impressed, he looked pissed and I could only assume what that meant. 

"Katherine." I simply stated, choosing to sit beside Elijah instead of across from him, the woman forced a smile to her lips the resting bitch look not fading from her eyes. I could feel this twinge of hurt and jealousy invading my being. Katherine took it upon herself to sit down and join us, Elijah let go of my hand and the once gentle and tender look that decorated his features was long gone. 

"What was your name again...?" 

"Y/n" I answered, hating the way she stared at Elijah, I knew of their past as Elijah had been quite open about his past relationships. Katherine nodded, shrugging and turned her attention to Elijah. I grabbed my things, kissed his cheek and pushed myself up to leave. 

"Bonnie wanted me to do something, I'll see you later." Elijah nodded, staring at me for a moment, I walked out before anything could be said and made my way to Bonnie's house. I asked Bonnie to do a spell, something that would allow me to go under the radar and not be found by Elijah considering that I would be distancing myself from the love of my life to conceal the ugly green monster. 

I had been cancelling dates, vague answers over the phone and would leave quickly with some bullshit excuse if Elijah appeared out of the blue. I could tell he could sense something was, I didn't want to mention that something was wrong and he hadn't questioned my actions. 

Elijah's POV 

Something was wrong with Y/n I couldm't place my finger on what it was, I couldn't understand what had happened and why she decided to almost disappear. I was missing her dearly, I missed seeing her smile, I missed her silly little jokes and her ability to make all my world seem so much better against all the issues going down. I missed her little rambles she would go on, the point is that I miss her and I don't know how to bring her back to me. 

I had finally been able to catch the trail and follow her around, see if I could understand what was going on and it took me to the Grill. I stood near the bar, blending into the ground and proceeded to listen in on her conversation with the Salvatore brothers. 

"I know it's silly of me but I can't help but be jealous." 

"Come on, you know that the noble fossil wouldn't cheat on you." Damon remarked, a clear roll of the eyes that made Y/n whack him lightly. 

"I being serious Damon! I know he has history with Katherine, when he was human he loved Tatia and then he found Katherine. What if her coming back brings back the feelings? I can't stand the idea of him leaving me for her and I don't want that to happen."

"Y/n have you tried speaking with Elijah? You know he'd hear you out and he'll be respectful of what you're going through." I let out a breath, I clenched my eyes shut, hating in myself for not reading the signs. If I knew sooner I would've done everything in my power to reassure Y/n that the only person my heart sings for is her. 

"He's a 1000+ year old vampire, he has more important things than dealing with my petty feelings." 

"Y/n listen here. Elijah worships the ground you walk on, he wouldn't think any less of you for worring about Katherine. We all know what Katherine is like and you have every reason to be worrying about it." Damon's response seemed to freeze her in her place. 

"Thank you..." 

Four nights later, I invited Y/n to come over, I will admit I was surprised when she agreed. We journed to my bedroom, she placed herself on the bed, fiddled with her hands and I took this as an opportunity to shut down the feelings of doubt and jealousy. 

"Y/n the other night, I overheard you speaking to the Salvatores about what's been going on..." She buried her face in her  hands, looking ashamed and worried about what I could possibly say. I sat beside her, took her hand and cupped her face in my other hand to ensure she met my eyes. 

"I understand your worries completely. I understand and I want you to know, that Katherine does not matter to me. She hasn't for 500 years. All I care about is you, no one else matters to me, just you. I love you with all my heart, I love your smile and your little jokes. I love when you leave me a note with a little picture, I worship the ground you walk on and I will go to hell back to prove that I love you as much as I do. I am awfully sorry that you haven't felt as if you could speak to me and I feel awful that this happened. But please, my love... know that I would never ever dream of breaking your heart and leaving you alone. You have my word, I promise you that I won't let the devil of a woman try and break us apart because she is long forgetten." 

She took a few breaths, Y/n moved closer to me, rested a kiss upon my forehead and took a moment before finding the courage to speak. 

"I am sorry, I'm sorry that I didn't come to you, I'm sorry I didn't allow you to know what was going on. It was fair of me to shut you out when you haven't done anything to warrent it. Please forgive me." 

"There's nothing to apologise or forgive for. My love, let me prove to you my undying and everlasting love for you." Her shy little smile brought a smile to my lips, I cupped her face in my hands, bringing her in for a kiss and listened to her hum as I brought her into my arms for an embrace, Y/n took a moment to breathe and whispers softly into my ear. 

"i love you, Elijah. I love you more than you'll ever know." 

"I love you more my love." 

First Person's POV 

Late into the night, we lay in each other's arms, Elijah and I lay naked under the blankets. My headed rest on his chest, he took my hand away lying across him and brought my hand to rest a sweet and longing kiss against my palm. The action was enough to keep my smile stuck on my lips and it was enough for me to snuggle in closer to him with my hand resting in his and his tender eyes continuing to made me feel incredibly loved and devoted to.

Ruki went to the dungeon with the breakfast tray to see Eve and explain the rules to her. Kou went to the dungeon with him. Ruki frowned when he noticed Kou is following him and turned towards him.

Ruki: Why are you following me?

Kou: I want to see Eve. Her pitiful scared face should be interesting. And since I'm going to take care of her today, I need to know what rules you set for her.

Ruki: Ah... okay.

Ruki and Kou continued on their way until they reached the pale girl. It was unbelievable. She was sitting quietly staring at the door without any attempt to escape. It was as if she was waiting for them to arrive.

Ruki: Good morning Eve. So you are awake.

Hearing Ruki's voice, the girl raised her head and looked at him. You can tell from her shaking eyes and hands that she is scared. But she was trying to show herself strong. That's why she looked at those two people without showing any fear.

Yui: Who are you? where am I?

Ruki: Don't worry Eve, I will explain everything to you soon.

Ruki put the breakfast tray in front of Yui.

Ruki: You must be hungry. you can eat I will open your hands, but remember, if you make a foolish attempt to escape, you will be punished.

Ruki slowly unchained Yui's hands. Yui was hesitant at first, but she was very hungry. Since the Sakamaki brothers are vampires, they eat little, Yui also eats very little, and this has affected her health.

Yui first took the glass of water and drank it. She seemed very thirsty. She looked at Ruki as she ate some of the food and waited for his explanation.

Ruki: Listen Eve. Or Komori Yui. You are here on the orders of an important person and you must obey us. You are going to stay here for a long time. Remember, don't think of stupid attempts to escape, they will all be futile and you will only get yourself in trouble. From today you have no right to go to school. You have no right to contact the Sakamakis and most importantly, you have no right to disobey. It is in your best interest to listen to everything I say, otherwise you will be severely punished.

Yui: Why am I here? On whose orders am I here?

Ruki: This is not important anymore. I am Ruki, the older brother of this family. And this is the second brother of the family Kou. You will meet Yuma and Azusa soon.

Kou was listening to the conversation of these two people without saying anything. He was staring at Yui. He knew he had seen Yui somewhere before, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember.

Ruki: We will free you. As long as you respect all the rules I said. Do you have anything to say?

Yui: Please... let me go...

Ruki: Ahhhh.... Didn't you hear what I said? Do not resist, you will only make it difficult for yourself. Now eat your breakfast as soon as possible. I will introduce you to my other two brothers and we have to go to school. But don't worry, you aren't going to be alone. Kou is by your side and makes sure you don't break the rules.

Yui was afraid of Ruki. She had to obey him, otherwise it was not clear what fate awaited her.

*TIMESKIP*

After Ruki introduced his brothers to Yui, they left the mansion and went to school, leaving Kou and Yui alone at home.

Kou: Ahhhhh... I'm finally alone. I can't wait to just have fun and relax today.

Kou walked over to the couch in the living room and threw himself onto it, yawning deeply and chuckling. He could see Yui staring at him. He smirked at Yui's look.

Kou: What happened? Didn't you think you would see your favorite idol up close, M-Neko-chan?

Yui: Idol? Are you an idol?

Kou: Haaaaaaaaa? Don't say you don't know me.

Yui: I'm sorry, but I don't know you.

Kou: Are you kidding me?

Kou went to Bookshelf and picked up some of the magazines and came to Yui. He put the magazines on the table and pointed at them angrily.

Kou: My picture is in almost every magazine. What do you mean you don't know me?

Yui: Fufu... I never read such magazines. I am sorry. But I felt that I have seen your face before. Maybe that's why you looked familiar?

Kou: Familiar? Are you crazy or something? All the girls in Japan know me. I am a famous idol that girls die to be with me for just a few seconds. How can you not know me?

Yui: I'm sorry... but I've never been interested in this kind of thing... but that doesn't make the value of your work less.

Kou: You bitch... are you trying to pity me?

Yui: No... I just...

Kou: Shut up... you worthless bastard... you are the one who is worthless. You are just a moving blood bag.

Kou angrily walked over to Yui and grabbed Yui's narrow neck in his fist and began to squeeze it to strangle Yui.

Kou: You see... you are so worthless... if I kill you now, no one will be upset. No one even knows you exist.

Yui: Kou-kun... I can't... breathe...

Kou: If I feel a little sick all the girls in Japan send me postcards and gifts to wish me well. You see, this is the difference between you and me.

Yui: Kou...kun...my breath...

Kou: Hahaha... yes, hurry up and beg for your life. You have to beg even for your life. You are just worthless prey, nothing more.

Yui's eyes were about to close when Kou released his hand and let go of Yui's neck. Yui fell to the ground in despair, coughing and struggling to breathe. Tears were flowing from her eyes and her vision was blurry.

Kou: Don't forget your place. You are as worthless as a mouse and I can easily crush you under my feet. I don't even have to do it myself. Just mention it and the fans will destroy you.

Yui: Huh...huh...I'm sorry...

Kou smirked when he saw Yui in that state and walked out of the living room. When Yui was alone in the room, she started to cry. She hated this bitter fate and wished that her father would return even for one day. But this was an impossible wish that will never come true.

And the MARKINGS!!!! AHHH- I have been doing some concepts of baby Yuuji's markings and none of them look right. They either looked too clunky or just plain ugly. THIS THO!! THIS. THIS IS INCREDIBLE. @n0bluev does it again! These markings both look like tattoos and birthmarks, which I really adore. I wanted Yuuji's markings to be different then Sukuna and Ryomen's, but it never looked right. I think making the markings match his skintone instead of being the black tattoos Sukuna and Ryomen have really makes it look softer and less distracting.

A/N - Very short chapter but it's because the last one was long. Update: Work has got me caught up so... Between editing what I was unhappy with in this story and work being extra, I've just started catching up with writing the rest of the story. Release times will be shorter from here on out. Just warnin' ya! I do have notes and stuff so it should make writing the next few chapters easier :) 

As you and Simon exit the hotel, you get into the passenger side of the vehicle.

"I had fun, Simon," you smiled at him. "Thank you for coming out with me..."

"Same here, doll." Weird, he was short with you again. Figuring it was just work, you let it go and enjoy the ride back, feeling happy with the outing.

Before the ride got too quiet, you made sure to compliment him. "You're... a good kisser, by the way. Never been kissed like that."

He raised his eyebrow, quickly peeking at you. "Hm."

"Is... everything okay?" you sheepishly asked.

"Affirmative, just work. One thing, luv. Ghost on the field and in front of others."

"Okay, understood, sir."

Arriving back at base, you walk into the safe house before Ghost does, and immediately go to find food. Soap and Gaz are in the kitchen and ooh-ing and aww-ing at the two of you.

"Fuck off, pests," Ghost spat as he made his way to his room. You look over your shoulder at him, noticing his sweet demeanor had, in fact, switched. No longer Simon. 

Sitting down at the table after grabbing some leftover scrambled eggs, you, Soap, and Gaz watch Ghost leave without a word. And as soon as he walks out the door...

Soap looks over at you, excited. "How was it?"

"Did you see his face? Is he ugly?"

"How was the movie?"

"... How big is it?"

You choked on your food at the last question, staring off into space, now trying to catch your breath at the randomness of Soap's ask. You laugh before you respond, chewing the last bit of your food. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

"N-not like that, lass..." Soap put his head down, realizing how he sounded.

"No, it was fine. We watched Robin Hood... The Disney version... I didn't see his... full face."

"Did ya kiss?" he smirked.

Your smile instantly gave it away as you blushed at the thought, remembering being on Si-Ghost's lap like you were. 

"Ahhh! Was it good? Tell me," Soap took a sip of his orange juice.

You nodded, "Damn good."

Gaz shook his head in playful disapproval. "Done with your questions, Soap?"

"Aye... For now..." he squinted at you. "I'll leave 'er alone..."

You hummed, "We had pizza. And nearly 2 bottles of whiskey."

"Lucky bastards..." they spoke in unison, looking at each other as the words came out of their mouths. 

"We got to sleep in a real bed," you smirked, playfully rubbing it in their faces. 

Soap paused, "YOU GUYS SLEPT TOGETHER?! LIKE - IN THE SAME BED?!"

You furrowed your brows, "Yeah? I mean - he didn't sleep, I slept... on him. Jesus, I'm probably not supposed to be saying any of this... It was fun, okay, Soap? We had our own little time and got to know each other more. I'm just glad he doesn't hate me... anymore."

"Yeah, yeah..." he tutted, jealous - you weren't sure of what, though.

Romance repulsed aro culture is watching a movie and getting invested in a cute friendship between the male and female main characters with banter, and dancing, and really sweet moments!

Then getting hit in the face with ye olde "ahhh noo I'm a guy who has fallen for my female best friendddd" subplot comlplete with a friendzone joke y'know, because men and women can't actually stay just friends without inevitably developing attraction for each other. /s

But you keep watching anyway because the rest of the movie is good, like, really enjoyable and pretty well written! But the romance subplot keeps rearing its ugly head, and my gosh, is it ugly..

And the confession scene happens after so few pining moments on the girl's side, making you wonder if the "I love you" was platonic because the guy never outright told her he had feelings for her besides like a throwaway line of like "why do I care about you the most in the world" or something after their fight.

There's one moment at the end where they're holding hands and lovingly smiling at each other and it's really cute but again you're left wondering "so are they together or not???"

So you wait a year or so after the next movie is announced, excited to see it anyway regardless of your romance repulsion because bright colors, adorable designs, pretty okay writing! You watch the series in the meantime, and read some books, finding them super cute together as best friends.

And then the day comes, the synopsis is released, you're so hyped to learn what the movie is because you adore the franchise! And then you're punched in the gut with confirmation that yes, they are indeed dating now, and there was.. "relentless flirting"..?

So, um, moral of the story. To quote our queen Avril Lavigne- If he's a boy, and she's a girl, they won't make it anymore obvious. And if you're like me you're going to fall for it.

EVERY. DAMN. TIME.

hiii getting to talk about my creations!!! ahhh

ok so cause its been a couple of months and my memory is nothingness aka im a little hazy on some stuff. buuuuuut i distinctly remember several things that heavily inspired TBDN im just gonna run my thoughts as they come so i apologise if its incoherent. i am also putting this under a readmore for the sake of everyone. and because spoilers for the fic

first inspo was deathmark2 cause it got its english translation earlier this year (i love deathmark but ill say everytime i talk of it its very difficult to recommend cause it needs so many content warnings). im very much the kinda person who can and will mash fandoms together- ill make those parallels. god cant stop me. basically dm is what got the ball rolling for me- spirits and possession and influenced moods. its only inspired pretty loosely by dm- very much the general concept/brainrot for both fandoms kinda deal. also more horror elements in dghda yes pls

another thing that inspired it was the doctor who ep 'midnight'. that ep was chilling- i think about how you can tell ten is fully awake and aware during his possession and it stuck with me- a+ acting from david. its a fear of mine being fully awake/aware whilst having no control of your body/immobilised and you cant do anything but wait for the inevitable. granted todd leaned more towards anger, or like the five stages of grief, than fear. but that felt more him also cause it went on longer than a few hours (or rather he expresses his fear through anger/lashing out) but i wanted that ugly rawness of it- hes nervous like a bad dog ay ayyyyyyy

(i sorta wish i went harder with it at the end with his scene with dirk, but alas he was burnt out and healing)

also tbh i just love scenes like that in media too. the character is right there! its so close and nobody is helping them so they gotta save their own ass and be a bitch about it

also i just kinda wanted more fics where dirk just fucks up?? like theres no hoops being jumped through to make what he said right (im not exactly a fan of this fanon!dirk where hes this saint who does no wrong/is always right/everyone else is to blame) so that was a goal in mind when writing this- dirk mostly, but also amanda to an extent of being wrong (not like in some horrible malicious way just. you made a bad call. u gotta live with it). also why todd was quicker to forgive farah (or at least be on better terms with her than the others- i really wish i included a convo between them aw well) granted these arent really specific to this fic- i like to have it in other fics, i need those two to fuck up. as well as todd getting to be angry/upset without this notion that he cant cause he did bad things therefore can only be bad, undeserving person forever cause thats how it works obviously (look if i wanted content of todd fucking up id watch the show lemme have something else with fics- ok ill stop being salty now asdfghjkl;)

i also really wanted the aftermath of what happened to be explored (i love the concept of possession/mindcontrol but shows kinda brush it off after the character is freed. like??? youre telling theyre all sunshine and fine now??? no way, theres gonna be a recovery period. aka todds body being weak from literally having zero nutrients, miru not taking care of the body, also learning to have control of his own body again

with the characters or i guess specifically project miru, she wasnt inspired by anything specific. i really like tragic but unsympathetic characters in media so wanted to have a try at it, and to explore the whole riggins' favouritism towards dirk and how the other projects may have felt. idk how well i pulled it off but i had fun writing her interactions with todd even if it was mostly them being dicks to eachother and being a dick to everyone

ok my brain is starting to run on empty so ill close up this haha.

im sure this is universal but when i got the idea of this fic i had the immediate The Scenes™️ for it. they were: amandas confrontation and realising that oh shit it isnt todd the whole time that scene was vivid in my head (also fave scene to write!!) and the other is the final scene with dirk and todd and todd breaking down. todds kinda the 'strong' one of the two (to dirk) and the caretaker- so someone takes care of him and lets him be upset with everyone

but yeah!!! some of my thoughts behind the creation of TBDN 💖🥰🧡 theres stuff i wish i included in the fic and ideas i had after i had already posted but im happy with it regardless. at its core i just wanted some sweet sweet todd whump i wanna traumatise that little man

leon is a very sweet and caring guy at the heart of his character and i wanted to keep that. but because he's so obsessed with the reader, it makes him act in ways he would never condone. which makes him feel ugly and unworthy of the affection reader is giving him. he wants it so bad and is happy about it, but at the same time it feels wrong. which i hope makes sense?

i wanted the reader to just be so desperate to be unalone that she is willing to feed into a stranger's delusions to the point of it being dangerous. which doesn't help with leon also looking for someone to love and care for him the same way he does. which leads her to reap what she's sown. i also hope this makes sense lol

anyways…. i just. love love ballerina stiles because his story holds a special place in my heart 🫶 also i’m so sad it got deleted but the whole idea/plot of ballerina au came from a fanmade music video of lana del rey’s this is what makes us girl demo version and just. stiles who is just. this boy from new york—pretty, almost ethereal, beautiful, whimsical—yet he is littered with such ugly and foul rumors and then following it is the pack befriending him and ahhh!!! i just also rly love it because of the stiles cora & scott friendship! i rly tried to maintain the asshole derek during their first meetings so i rly had to sniffle a little writing derek being an asshole 😭😭

anyways.. oh god i love ballerina stiles so so bad also cheesily enough im sorry but most of the image i had for ballerina stiles is inspired from the trendy ‘balletcore’ that happened + mina le’s vid abt said balletcore & when she said that ballet used to be abt men at first made me crazy!!! so yeah. also i will always use this but “the discipline that ballet requires is obsessive” and that line rly just solidified ballerina au for me.. i think incorporating ballet into stiles’ overall character is so so beautiful and just. even the horrors of ballet applies to stiles so well..

also i think i’ve been saying so much sad stuff abt this au!! there IS happiness here! during stiles’ isolation, he used to practice ballet in one of the empty classrooms in beacon hills highschool late at night but once they all got together, derek and the pack emptied out a room at the top of the rebuilt hale house and got it renovated to look like a ballet studio for stiles 🥺 it’s a whole room full of windows so the sunlight can come in & mirrors of course and the bar for ballerinas and just.. i just love ballerina au so much i don’t wanna say too much though cause then yall would know the whole plot already! 😭 (me lying cause i know once yall ask again i’ll be breaking out the oaragraphs)
