Been kind of busy, finished these three. The yellow one, sorry if it’s slightly off kilter, but it too was supposed to be the same thing as the other two, with just the purple behind it. However, sorry if it’s not as visible and vibrant to some degree or looks only like a circle from far away. Wasn’t exactly going for that either, but with so little colors available nearby the yellow had to stick out the most. None of the piles had any silvery or grey colors on them, so had to go with the colorful and the black as part of the set. Sorry if they didn’t turn out the way they’re supposed to be. Also as for the non-color, didn’t exactly have a third option there nor a fourth.

[ currently viewing this page as @7ngelicisms ] … did you see? yesterday, HAN HYEJIN (SHE/HER) was spotted at the airport! you know, that 27 year old who was part of that one film's EXTRAS? the cursed one that they never finished? yeah, they were the CIRCUS GUEST / THE MASK OF “THE ANGEL.”! i know everyone already knows they're SOFT-SPOKEN and DEMURE, but i heard that THEY WERE SEEN SLEEP-WALKING ON SET AT NIGHT IN THEIR COSTUME. apparently they’re a FREELANCE TRANSCRIPTIONIST now, but i guess they’ve got unfinished business with this movie, or this movie’s got unfinished business with them.

hyejin's life has always been shaped by silence and solitude, marked by the loss of her mother at a young age to an undiagnosed illness, leaving her in the care of her father and older brother. she never sought attention, and her brief involvement with the mask of all hearts came not from an ambition to be in the spotlight like so many others, but from the insistence of a friend who wanted her to audition alongside them. despite having no prior acting experience, she agreed to attend the audition as a favor, and was unexpectedly cast in the minor role. as production quickly became plagued with delays and other unfortunate incidents, hyejin's own health began to decline. towards the end of filming, she experienced bouts of vertigo and continuous fainting spells, as well as sleepwalking, a strange affliction that never touched her before being on set. even after the film was shelved, the effects lingered and continue to plague her. with no desire to pursue the limelight, and in the wake of her struggles both mentally and physically, she currently works from home as a freelance transcriptionist.

hyejin is an introspective soul whose life is defined by the weight of restless nights and disorienting days. though she moves through the world with soft-spoken grace and a quiet empathy, there is an undeniable unease that clings to her. it feels as if she is always teetering on the edge of something she cannot quite grasp, haunted by an invisible presence that twists her perception as the room spins and black dots fill her vision. she often feels pursued in her dreams, as though something is calling to her in the dead of night — something elusive, yet familiar. sometimes, just before she slips into unconsciousness, she swears she can see the faint outline of her mother in the distance. this lingering sensation, coupled with her insomnia, anxiety and bouts of vertigo, leaves hyejin continuously searching for peace that she can never seem to find. though her kindness and intuition are evident to those around her, beneath it lies an unshakeable insecurity — a quiet longing for a calm that always slips through her fingertips. she is a gentle soul, but one who is often caught up in the storm of her own mind.

My musings on how the Thread works

I've been writing a fanfic with Mother Koril and OC, and surprisingly enough, most of it so far from Koril's perspective. This got me thinking how exactly to portray her perception of the Force - the Thread. While I'm still not 100% sure how much of it will actually come into play in the story, here's what I've got: 1. It would be primarily visual. The witch looks at a person, sees a "pattern" specific to that person, be it current mood, overall emotional state, intentions, or all of the above - one on top of the other. With study, the witch learns to recognize what specific pattern corresponds to which feelings or intentions - no "mind reading" in the traditional sense of hearing thoughts or sensing emotion. It would also require visual contact with the target, which could even nicely tie into [SPOILERS FROM EPISODE 5] the Stranger saying he didn't want to take off his helmet so the Jedi couldn't read his thoughts (obviously his main reason for keeping it on was hiding his face, but the two might not be mutually exclusive). Now, the individual patterns wouldn't have to be set/static at all times. If the witch is looking at someone as their emotions are changing, she could definitely see the pattern rearranging itself. Additionally, this doesn't need to be limited to people - the witches could have their equivalent of sensing Force Echoes, or Psychometry as it's called. But where the Jedi need to touch an object to sense its past, the witches' application of Psychometry would be visual. 2. Force Bonds/ sensing someone's presence: I imagine that this would be like a physical thread between two people. Tugging on one end could be sensed by the person on the other end - but the greater the distance (either physical or emotional) between the two in the moment, or even a lack of proper focus, those tugs/vibrations would be slower to travel from one end to the other, and so harder to feel. 3. Force Pushes and Pulls - the application of these seems rather straightforward, and also more on the physical side, but would require multiple threads quickly woven together (think Wheel of Time, I made the comparison a few weeks back) and directed to get the push/pull effect. 4. Aniseya's "getting into people's heads" and how she disabled Torbin - now, this is an interesting one, but if my previous theories are correct, this one would tie all 3 together nicely. The witch sees her target's pattern, reaches for it, and rearranges it herself. This would feel just as invasive and horrifying as it looked in the episode. It would take a lot of focus and power, which Aniseya has in spades. And this neatly brings me along to the final point. 5. Power in the Force - I don't doubt that natural talent still comes into play even with the witches' interpretation of the Force, whether they're willing to acknowledge it or not. Except they wouldn't view it as "strength" - rather as the ability to see the Thread and interact with it.
