There is something so enchanting, so bewitching about a dark storm.

The stir of wind as it dances from a calm breeze into a symphony of warm energy swirling around your skin that is now being kissed by a million raindrops falling violently to your naked, dancing feet.

It feels like all the earth's magic has sprouted from the ground as it rises to meet the sky.

I too feel like I am part of the storm.

My veins are filled with blossoming electricity and with each lightning strike flowers made of riveting thunder burst through my bones to the ends of the earth... Then I remember that the brightest thing to come from a storm is me.

Hati kita bukan pasar yang segala macam ada, becek dan kadang bau ikan bercampur serpihan sisa potongan segala macam, tempat hidupnya para kuman penyakit.. . Hati kita juga bukan lapangan sepak bola hingar bingar penuh tepuk tangan dan sorak sorai ketika ada konser lalu senyap, kosong ketika tidak ada perlombaan... . Hati kita adalah RUMAH yang setiap hari kita bersihkan agar memberi rasa nyaman, aman, adem, sejuk, bikin betah tinggal dan tenang.. . Sampah hati apa sih? dendam, iri, dengki, gak suka lihat orang bahagia, REVENGE, persis kaya para cecurut dkk di pasar, bising hidupnya.. . Yuk, bersihkan rumah kita hingga kinclong dari yang beginian. Jika ada satu anggota keluarga yang sedang marah dan satu gelas pecah gak sengaja, bersihkan belingnya hingga tak tersisa dan kinclong lagi, aman lagi.. . Kamarmu wangi karena tak masuk kamar selama ada amarah, ruang makanmu hangat karena selalu ada masakan baru.. . Ya. Hatimu adalah rumahmu, tempat mu pulang, tempat cinta bersemi, tempat pelukan bersamudera, tempat gelak tawa menghapus tangis. He is like

summer

Vibrant, colorful sunsets

Buzzing, roaming bees

collecting happiness in pollen

living off of flowers

Sometimes hiding behind clouds

but he

has it all figured out

When it rains it is gentle, soft

creating rainbows

the type of rain you

laugh and dance in

I’m just winter

freezing cold

chapped lips

dry skin

trying to fit in the soft weather

But through the

blizzards and black ice

Where I’ve swerved and crashed

countless times

he found a way to melt my

fears, tears, and cold, cold years and

bring me back to life

He is my shining sun

Even on my most paralyzing, frozen days

He brings me light even though I am like

grey

Because

His favorite season is winter on every summer day

In a single moment

as your hands reach for my shining petals

you not only burn them to ashes with your touch

but in their place leave traces of the rivers on your fingertips

all over my delicate skin

They serve as the water that will nourish new flowers

made from memories yet to begin

and you will see them bloom from the depths of my eyes

as old life transforms itself into an orchestra of feral flowers

bursting with unfathomable colors
