every buddie argument is so good because their conflict is never about not loving each other. they're always both coming from such a place of care and understanding even when they're spiralling. this argument is sooo... god. at its core it's "i know why you have to leave and i would never ask you to stay but i don't want you to go" and it's "i'm trying so hard to be okay with leaving my life behind but you're making it harder for me to leave" AND!! it's "if you need to be mad at me, be mad, it's okay" and within all of that!!! the actual conflict is!!! that they don't want to be APART!!!

I personally hc Tails as half french, although I think he wouldn't be THAT fluent in the language. BUT, he does know a few phrases, and one of them is "I love you" = "Je t'aime"

for the longest time, he'd randomly say it to Sonic, mostly when they'd say goodbye (albeit casually). Sonic wouldn't think much of it, just another one of his brother's quirks. Until one day he decides to actually translate "Je t'aime" and everything just makes sense to him LMFAOOO (mostly finding it cute)

batman ninja vs yakuza league is such a treat for people that love dc and anime (me) because what do you mean i get to watch nightwing do a magical girl transformation into a mecha-discowing suit and fight green lantern in the air like a super saiyan? not to mention the RED HOOD DESIGNS?? tim and jason not being neglected in a batman movie??? the bat brothers actually acting like brothers and bruce not being an ass to them???? absolutely top tier.

genuinely diabolical how differently these scenes are lit.... the way they sapped all of the warmth out of the set when they're fighting, versus the warm glow that infuses the space when the space is finally full of their family again... it's so great. and so intentional! both scenes are set at night, as far as i can tell, and yet the second one is lit entirely differently. brilliant
