I think I have absolutely just hacked the ever loving fuck out of myself
One of my mental blocks and gateways to a downward spiral is that I feel I need to be doing something deemed productive 24/7/365. I can't rest because- in childhood- that would mean I am being lazy; essentially "resting" gives me anxiety and therefore turns it into something other than rest. I then usually push myself beyond my energy and physical limits by overdoing anything and everything to overcompensate for my self-perceived failure. Though this has followed me in all aspects of life, not just rest.
But I think I've found my loophole
I've just written down lists of my personal, financial, mental, etc goals. It includes everything from keeping my home clean to making efforts to branch out to possible friends to what I want to have in savings. Part of my mental/emotional goals involves self soothing and proactive coping that may improve my capability of calming anxieties. As well as incorporating more mindfulness and self care into my day. With specific goals in mind, it has dawned upon me that I now am spending my time in life Always. Working. Towards. My. Goals. Meaning, no matter what I am doing, resting or active, it is serving myself in a purposeful manner and I am somehow making progress.
And, on top of that, it lessens my anxiety about not using my time "as I should". Idk how other people use their time in life, and I always fear I am wasting time or simply rotting away, but this is what I have decided that I am doing with my life/time- and I feel very motivated with that in mind
If I am always working towards a goal, whether physically or mentally, then I am now, technically, always doing something. And maybe, just maybe, I can mentally grasp the concept of genuine rest and its benefits without the guilt/shame.
Goal of calming my mind? Simply existing and spending time "doing nothing" or resting or being in nature does that. BAM
It's a good day

It has very much been a while. I've been doing the life things😵‍💫 learning a bit more about myself here and there, and not sure if I'll continue with practicing Wicca. Scary- I hold onto labels wayyy too much, and Freeing- I have many other life paths to experiment with.
Anywho, if you haven't already: make sure you eat the food and drink some water. And take a break from the screens to breathe a little bit😊

Types of Spells & Basic Methods of Casting
Attracting - fill a small jar with honey and add a written statement of intent to the jar - seal and set the jar in direct sunlight to manifest your intent; stir your morning coffee or tea in a clockwise motion while focusing on the intent of what energies you wish to attract for the day; fill a jar with herbs and crystals that represent what you want to attract and add a statement of intent; charge a crystal and wear on your person to attract certain energies; create a sigil and either draw it on yourself or on paper and keep in your pocket; create a talisman, charge it, and wear it to attract various energies
Banishing - take an item that represents what you wish to banish and: throw it in the trash, flush it down the toilet, burn it, bury it, drown it; burn the item and sweep the ashes out the back door or bury them; carve the name of what you want to banish into a black candle and let it burn down completely; transmute negative energy into a stone (preferably a black stone like onyx) and throw it over the fence in your backyard (or whichever direction is south in reference to your home); stir your morning coffee or tea in a counter-clockwise motion while focusing on the intent of what energies you wish to banish for the day; using incense that is associated with banishing negative energy, walk around your space in a counter-clockwise motion with the lit incense in your hand
Binding & Sealing - wrap a string around a poppet or other representation of the target or item you wish to bind; put the poppet or other representation in a plastic bag filled with water and freeze it; place the item in a black box and seal it - store in a dark place or bury the box in your backyard; drip wax over the item
Blessing & Consecrating - anoint an object with holy or blessed water/oil; place the object in a dry bath of herbs or flowers that are known for blessing; pass the object through incense smoke that is associated with blessing
Cleansing - leave the item in the path of direct moon, sun, or starlight; place in a dry bath or herbs or flowers that are associated with cleansing; place the item in a bowl of sea salt; pass the item through incense smoke that is associated with cleansing; pass the item through running water; anoint the item with a cleansing oil or charged water; bury the item in soil for 3 days so it may be “reborn” when unearthed; place a cleansing crystal on top of or next to the item; hang a wind chime outside of your home to negate negative energies before they have the chance to enter your home; open doors and windows; physically clean your space
Cursing - fill a poppet with baneful herbs and crystals, seal it, and store in a black box; add baneful herbs and crystals to a jar with a piece of paper that states the target’s name or a description of them and seal it; create a poppet or other representation of the target and destroy it (commonly by burning); stab the poppet with pins and needles; curse an item and gift it to the target
Dreams & Sleep - fill a sachet with herbs associated with restful sleep and peaceful dreams and hang above your bed; place the sachet under your pillow; wash your bedsheets and sleep clothes with a few drops of lavender or chamomile essential oil; alternately, choose fabric softener that is lavender scented to wash your sheets or sleep clothes with; create a sigil for peaceful dreams or dream recall, charge under the light of the moon, and place it under your pillow before you go to sleep; drink mugwort, peppermint, or valerian root tea before bed for vivid, lucid dreams; drink chamomile tea before bed for restful sleep; drink lemon verbena (vervain) tea before bed for dreamless sleep; when bathing at night, create a sachet that matches your intent and place in the bath or shower
Glamours - anoint the containers of beauty and hair products with Pluto oil or moon water (for transformation and metamorphosis); leave the item you wish to cast a glamour on under the full moon; charge a talisman with the effect you wish to have on others and wear when you go out for the day; add Pluto oil and moon water to a bath for a full body glamour (write your intent with bath crayons on the tub or shower wall for an extra boost); create an energetic shield over yourself in which the outside mirrors what you want others to perceive of you
Goal & Wish Manifestation - write your intent on a bay leaf and burn it; turn your intent into a sigil and store it in a jar filled with herbs or other items that represent said intent; place a written description of your goal or wish in the center of a crystal grid using stones that are associated with manifestation and power; place a coin in moon water while focusing on your wish or goal (leave container under direct moonlight overnight so that it may charge); light a candle whose color matches your intent and while focusing on your goal or wish, blow out the candle
Personal Power & Effects - create or enchant a talisman that represents your intent, charge it, and wear it on your person; take a ritual bath filled with herbs that are associated with personal power; create a potion from herbs associated with power and drink in the morning
Warding - sprinkle a mixture of protective herbs around the perimeter of your home while walking clockwise; leave protective crystals at each corner of your space; hang a protective amulet above the door to your space; wear a protective amulet for personal protection; create a protective witch bottle and bury near your front door; plant herbs or flowers that are associated with protection outside at each corner of your home; draw a protective sigil or symbol on the outside of your front and back door with sun water; hang witch balls or a witch’s ladder near your front door; create an energetic shield and place over yourself, your loved ones, or your entire home
*Please be wary when drinking herbal mixtures and putting essential oils directly on the skin or on items that your skin may come in contact with*

TERFs have begun using “hygienic” to mean cis because they’re fucking weirdos who think trans people don’t take baths
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve been collecting these screenshots for months to prove my point, this is an actual thing they’re doing and I feel that by now I have enough proof to be making this post. If you see someone calling themselves hygienic in their blog description, that’s what they mean. They mean they’re openly transphobic. And a fucking weirdo who assumes trans people don’t bathe for some reason.
No I’m not censoring the urls, all of these people can go fuck themselves! Block, don’t harass 💙🖤

Mental health is a very tricky thing, though very important to take care of. I’ve mentioned before that I struggle with my own mental health and mental illnesses. I have so many posts saved as drafts right now that aren’t finished, and I have no energy to finish them- so here’s what I’m doing instead.
When I scroll through my dashboard, I see so many posts about spells and sabbat celebrations and divination practices. As amazing as it is to see this all come together, it can be hard to see it especially when struggling with mental health. I can feel like I’m not ‘doing enough’ somehow or that I’m failing in my practice- which only makes the weight so much greater.
I want everyone reading this to know that you are not alone. You cannot fail in your practice. And that, even though you are stuck or blocked, the little things you do still matter. Maybe you just hold a crystal once in a while, or take care of your plants or send out energy to someone or for something. Maybe all you can manage is to focus on waking up or eating or breathing, but that is still something to be proud of. Your practice is a part of you, and if you are not feeling the best, you don’t deserve to place pressure on yourself as if you are doing something wrong. Taking time for yourself and keeping aware of how you are is, in itself, growth. And growth is the center of any craft.
You are doing your best, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Take your time and remember that you are not failing, you are not ‘falling behind’, and you are not alone.

A Spell To Give Karma A Little Nudge In The Right Direction
***This spell could get very negative very quickly depending on your own emotions and the situation. Keep aware of yourself during this- seriously. You are responsible for your actions and reactions, keep that in mind.****
I am leaving this out of this specific spell, but you can also call on any deities you work with if it calls to you. Remember to welcome them, thank them, and properly end this. Include offerings if needed. Do not force this if none come forth to aid.
What you’ll need:
- Pieces of paper equaling the number of people this is aimed at. If you don’t know the number, just write the relation this person has to someone else (i.e. friend, neighbor, parent, etc). The relation has to be to someone you personally know, and preferably decently well.
- 3 candles. Preferably all white or a mix of white, purple, yellow, or black.
- Your preferred method of cleansing (smoke, visualization, salt, etc) You’ll do this before anything else
- Clear quartz
- Optional: Obsidian, Black Tourmaline
- If you have and practice tarot, here are some cards to have for this spell: Justice, Wheel of Fortune, Death, The Tower
Spell Time :)
- First cleanse your space. Keep it as open as possible
- Place a candle directly in front of you (I would do this sitting down, just my style). Place one to each side of you and slightly to the back. Light them one at a time.
- Place the clear quartz in front of you. If you have Obsidian and/or Tourmaline, place those anywhere around you as long as they are near you and not outside of the line created by the candles
- Place the four tarot cards before you in a line, these can go outside the lines created by the candles. Place these face down.
- Take the paper and write on it either the names of people or relation to someone. Try to be as specific as possible. If you can’t have a physical image or name, use the feeling you associate with them and reach out through that- don’t spend so much time on this as it can lead to very negative outcomes.
-Take your time focusing on these people or feelings. Imagine their actions as energy circling around back to them. Imagine their emotions as what they have done is done to them.
- Keep your attention on the circling energy, meditate on this if needed.
- One by one, flip the tarot cards over. The time between the flipping of each card is not important. Focus on the meaning and attaching that to your intent. Be careful with this.
When you are done:
Let the energy flow off of you. Hold your crystal(s) as you blow out each individual candle. Cleanse your cards and place them back where you put them. Place every tool used back and cleanse your space again if needed.

[Doesn't include: Unless you're a doctor/medical professional guiding someone due to health issues or possible health issues or advising someone based on concerns.]
Hey this is a PSA
Don't compliment people based on their body size. Just don't.
I'm not talking just about those who are usually involved in these topics: plus sized, overweight, etc. I mean everyone- those whose ribs you can see, those with different weight distribution, etc.
Usually this just makes us hate our bodies even more. Or become obsessed with that body characteristic. Or become so afraid of it that we’d do anything to change it. Or have a mental breakdown because we don’t understand and can’t figure out what to do.
Most of us know. We see it every damn day. You are not bringing light to something new. Most of us are working on it. And it’s really hard.
I understand compliments that are about how they are dressed, how they appear (beautiful, handsome, confident, etc), and how they carry themselves. Compliments on how they have grown and their accomplishments.
But don't say anything based on size or what you can or can’t see.
If it wasn't a deliberate personal choice or a trait, please don't say anything.
"If they wouldn't be able to change it in 5 seconds, don't say anything"
^there was a quote similar to that, don't recall the source.
But yeah, speaking from personal experience, please don't.
~Hope you're all out there loving yourselves💜

Clear Hearing Magyk
I am hoping this will turn out simple (simple does NOT mean easy, everyone is different). It may take some time for you to be able to ‘see’ or feel energies, but don’t worry. Practice makes progress (:
*This is NOT referencing to clairaudience- though if it helps you with that ability, great! Just being able to take in and understand what you hear clearly. And maybe to help you become more self-aware.
Ingredients/Tools:
Clear Quartz
White Candle (Optional)
Light the candle, if you have it, and sit/stand before it - I personally prefer sitting. Hold the clear quartz in your non-dominant hand, and visualize the crystal’s energy coursing in your body. See the energy flow, visualize it as a light. Now trace the flow from your non-dominant hand. Follow it as it circles around your head and ears. Close your eyes and focus on your ears. Do you feel pressure? A heaviness? That may be a block. Focus the energy on pushing through that block. Keep your body relaxed. Take as much time as you need to push through that block- keep tabs on your body. I recommend doing this a few times (maybe a month) for the best results.
Keep the clear quartz near you the day of/day after doing this.

Tips for when food is low in the house
This is if you cannot safely find a way to get things or if you don't have the funds or means to go somewhere. This is especially for those living with parents and not yet adults.
****PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO AVOID EATING AT ALL. You need food, and you do not need that pain. Keep yourself healthy, as healthy as you can, okay? ❤ My dm is always open
Avoid hardcore exercising- this will make you more hungry and also (possibly) lose weight. Not a good combination when you don't have the proper food to care for yourself afterwards
Make a list of what you have. What do you specifically don't eat-whether you wont or cant. Cross those things off. Look at the rest. See if you can make a few meals with them
Try to keep yourself entertained away from where the food is (don't do this all day so you avoid eating- you need food every 3-4 hours for an average lifestyle).
Have water with you- sometimes you feel hungry when you're really just thirsty
Reach out to friends. Can they help? Can they help safely- for both you and them?
Research what foods are more filling, try to eat those often if you have them
If food is offered, take it when you're hungry. (Like when at a friends, relatives, work, etc.) Don't force yourself to eat from stress, though. And don't force yourself to eat something you don't like- that can make the situation feel even worse.
I wish I had more to list, but that is all I can currently think of. PLEASE add more if you have tips.

Aconitum Napellus
*This is a POISON.
(I know a lot of this is medical terms and may be hard to understand- I basically look up every term I come across. I’ve included definitions for most, but not all. I have tried finding my list of sources, but I have lost them. I have NOT personally had experience with this; therefore, some information may be slightly off, or not accurate according to new studies. Feel free to add new information, definitions, or facts. I am NOT a health professional.)
Common Names: Aconite, Monk’s Hood, Wolf’s Bane, Blue Rocket, Queen of Poisons, Soldier’s Helmet, Devil’s Helmet, Mouse Bane, Leopard’s Bane, Women's’ Bane, Brute Killer, Dog Killer
Native to: Central and Western Europe, Asia
Toxicity: Severe. All parts of the plants are toxic, especially the roots and root tubers
Poison will enter the body through contact with skin, contact with broken skin or wounds, ingestion, consuming any part of the plant.
The taste of the poison is a very bitter one, followed by a burning of the mouth and possibly esophagus, then numbing of the mouth.
Toxins in the plant include:
Aconitine- cardiotoxin (heart toxin) and neurotoxin (nerve toxin)
Mesaconitine
Hypaconitine
Side Effects can take a few minutes to a few hours to show.
Side Effects Include:
Abdominal Pain
Nausea
Vomiting
General Numbness
Partial Paralysis
Respiratory Paralysis
Paresthesia- abnormal sensation of the skin (tingling, numbness, chilling, burning, prickling) with no apparent physical cause
Diarrhea
Bradycardia- abnormally slow heart rythym
Hypotension
Chest pain
Palpitations
Sinus tachycardia- elevated sinus rhythm characterized by an increase in the rate of electrical impulses arising from the sinoatrial node (group of cells in the wall of the heart’s right atrium). In adults, sinus tachycardia is defined as a heart rate greater than 100 beats/min (bpm)
Ventricular ectopics- extra heart beats originating in the bottom heart chambers
Ventricular tachycardia- fast abnormal heart rate
Ventricular fibrillation- rapid and erratic electrical impulses of the heart
Defective color vision
The main causes of death are refractory ventricular arrhythmias & asystole. The severity of the toxins are related to the onset of rapid heart rhythm changes
Preexisting health conditions, old age, pregnancy, and breast feeding may amplify the side effects.
Overall in-hospital mortality is 5.5%
Antidotes & Remedies-
It has been reported that the effects of aconite can be buffered/eliminated by various alchemical methods.
Management is supportive, including immediate attention to vital functions and close monitoring of blood pressure & cardiac rhythm.
Inotropic therapy** is required if hypotension persists. Atropine*^ should be used to treat bradycardia.
Aconite-induced ventricular arrhythmias are often refractory to direct current cardioversion & antiarrhythmic drugs.
Available clinical evidence suggests that amiodarone & flecainide are reasonable first-line treatment.
In refractory cases of ventricular arrhythmias & cardiogenic shock, it’s most important to maintain systemic blood flow, blood pressure, & tissue oxygenation by early use of cardiopulmonary bypass.
The role of charcoal hemoperfusion to remove circulating aconitine alkaloids is not established.)
The early use of cardiopulmonary bypass is recommended if ventricular arrhythmias and cardiogenic shock are refractory to first-line treatment
**An inotrope is an agent that alters the force or energy of muscular contractions
*^ Atropine is a medication used to treat certain types of nerve agent and pesticide poisonings as well as some types of slow heart rate, and to decrease saliva production during surgery
Reducing toxicity-
Boiling, steaming, or soaking the plant may reduce toxicity due to the toxins being heat sensitive alkaloids. Since the toxic effect of raw aconite can be buffered/eliminated altogether by various alchemical methods, early Chinese medical texts focus much attention on processes involving the production of processed aconite. This includes procedures with special growing & harvesting techniques, special processing techniques, & herb combining techniques that blend the processed root with other foods and medicinal substances to safeguard against negative side effects.
Ancient Chinese herbalists espoused a distinct concept of space referred to as “daodi yaocai” (herbs grown in a proper location). This concept is especially used when dealing with a variation of the Aconitum Napellus plant.
Li Shizhen and other ancient authorities of Chinese materia medica invariably state that “the best [aconite] is produced in Mianzhu in the region of Shu (northern part of today’s Sichuan province). Although aconite plants can also be found in other areas, they are unsuitable for treating disease.” A Song dynasty account gives a description of this particular region that is still known for producing China’s only “genuine” aconite
The Chinese materia medica contains about 70 recorded types of post-harvest processing techniques aimed at reducing the toxic potential of aconite. The toxic effect of aconite stems from its alkaloids, especially aconitine. Since this ingredient is sensitive to heating, the processes of roasting, boiling or in most recent times, pressure-steaming, can reduce the effects of most alkaloids. Ancient Chinese texts specify that before heating, the aconite tuber should be peeled with bamboo knives. This labor-intensive technique has been abandoned in the modern production of medicinal aconite.
There is emphasis on the removal of the salt used for preservation of the aconite tubers after the harvest before they are brought to market. After the harvest, the unprocessed aconite root will decay rapidly (within a week) unless it is immediately immersed in brine. Brine immersion will embalm the root during the time when the entire year’s harvest is waiting for the typical step-by-step detoxification process consisting of skin removal and the application of heat. Traditional paozhi techniques specify that all brine is removed from the raw aconite slices before steaming or baking them, by soaking and rinsing them repeatedly in basins of fresh water. Seasoned Fire School practitioners, i.e. the contemporary scholar-physicians Drs. Lu Chonghan and Liu Lihong, have observed that industrial aconite production during the last two decades has flooded the market with high salt content aconite slices. To most kidney deficient patients, this significant salt residue in most pharmacy grade aconite (70% in most contemporary aconite products) is harmful and may be partially responsible for some of the side effects associated with aconitine alkaloids in the pharmacological literature. In addition, it has become common practice in recent years to remove the root peel by immersion in hydrochloric acid, defying the stringent alchemical experience of aconite detoxification garnered during the last two millennia.
Medicinal Uses -
Medicinal applications of aconite were not fully explored until the 18th century when Viennese physician Anton Stoerck published his clinical observations about benefits of the “internal use of aconite in humans” in 1762. Alleged therapeutic uses include treatment of joint & muscle pain. As a tincture applied to skin, it’s claimed to slow heart rate in cardiac patients. Other claimed uses: reduction of fevers & cold symptoms. Some take it by mouth for facial paralysis, joint pain, gout, finger numbness, cold hands & feet, inflammation, painful breathing & fluid in space surrounding the lungs (pleurisy), certain heart problems (pericarditis sicca), fever, skin diseases, & hair loss. Aconite is also used as a disinfectant to treat wounds & promote sweating. Some apply aconite to skin in liniment as a “counter irritant” for treating facial pain, joint pain, & leg pain (sciatica). Aconite root contains chemicals that may improve circulation, but also contains chemicals that can harm the heart, muscles, & nerves
.
History-
Aconitum Napellus was used in ancient times as poison on spears and arrows for hunting and battles. The tips and (possibly) shafts pf arrows were covered with the poison so anyone helping a wounded soldier may get poisoned as well by skin contact.
As wolfsbane, it was believed to repel werewolves and wolves. The poison was placed in raw meat which would kill wolves attacking livestock.
Ancient Romans used it as a method of execution.
In Hong Kong, aconite is the most common cause of severe poisoning from herbs. In Asia, toxicity is related to the use of aconite in traditional medicines. In western countries, aconite poisoning is associated with consuming the plant
Supposedly used in times of war by retreating armies to poison enemy water supplies. Generals would realize the poisoning and be forced not to pursue the enemy.
The poison was placed on the tips of harpoons to kill whales more easily.
The murder of Percy John by his brother-in-law, Dr. George Henry Lampson, was carried out using aconite
“If [aconite] sap is condensed by simmering, it is called Shewang (Shooting Net) and used to kill wild animals.” The 5th century Daoist hermit Tao Hongjing elaborates further: “When the sap of the raw [aconite] vine is extracted by mortaring it to a pulp, and then concentrating it by simmering, the paste yielded from this process is called Shewang. Arrows dipped into it can be used by hunters to shoot wild animals; when hit by such an arrow, an animal will fall to the ground after 10 steps. If a human is struck by such an arrow, s/he will die as well, unless the poison is swiftly neutralized by an antidote.
Known Cases
Very low margin of safety between therapeutic and toxic doses of aconitine.
A 66-year-old female with no known heart disease obtained Aconite from an herbalist. She was instructed to make tea with it to treat her osteoarthritis*. About 90 minutes after consuming the tea she developed numbness of the face, arms, & legs. Rapidly followed by nausea, weakness, & chest pressure. In an Emergency Room, she was found to have an abnormal heart rhythm. After 4 hours of treatment with drugs & electrical shocks to her heart, a normal heart rhythm was restored.
* most common form of arthritis. It occurs when the protective cartilage cushioning the ends of bones wears down over time
There are cases of poisoning in which people intentionally swallow Aconitum napellus they grow because of claimed therapeutic effects. A 21-year-old male acquired Aconitum napellus plants after reading a book on herbal medicine. He ground up the dried roots & filled capsules with the material. He took 1 capsule daily for several months to treat anxiety. (No symptoms were reported during that time) In order to increase the effects one evening, he swallowed 3 capsules and went to sleep. Five hours later he awoke with generalized numbness, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, & defective color vision (seeing purple). It was believed that early symptoms went unnoticed because he was asleep. In an ER, his heart rate was 43 bpm, and he had an abnormal heart rhythm. Plasma concentrations of aconitine supported poisoning by A. napellus. He spent 48 days in the hospital.
SOURCES: N/A, my list was lost when moving my information to a new document. I know for a fact I have spanned at least 6 websites, and 2 YouTube videos (only one of which was helpful) as well as the materia medica of John Henry Clark

So I use "magick" when referring to my practice and the use of actual magic compared to the referral of magicians or "fantasy" magic and the like. But I found this post which explains the uses, but also why many avoid the spelling of "magick" due to the association with Aleister Crowley- a horrid person if you take the time to read the link attatched to the post below.
I, personally, like having a different term to refer to the magic practice, so I propose the use of "Magyk". May seem weird but 😋. Imma do some research to see what previous use(s) of that term may have been used, feel free to join on it. Anywho, thats my 2 cents😂 Blessed be!

a new law is about to be passed in Saudi Arabia that will allow the government to execute people for coming out or being openly gay online.
ignoring the fact that this is literally something out of some kind of dystopian novel, in the interests of safety i’ve emptied out my face tag and may temporarily deactivate or password protect this blog.
please reblog this and get the word out, and if you pray, please pray for me and my fellow Saudi LGBTQ+/MOGAI family.
