Just when I was about to give up, he FINALLY came home! Don't have a single wish left to my name, but I couldn't care less.
May everyone who sees this post have much better luck than me and get him quickly.

Kingdom of Heroes: King Arthur?
Spoiler warning for Chapter 7 of Twisted Wonderland- you have been warned.
I've had a thought. I've had a few days to watch the mayhem unfold after part 5 released and all of the bombshells that got dropped with it. And I'm just going off of fan translations and assumptions/theories at this point.
We know that the Knight of Dawn and Queen Leah (?) got killed in the Wild Rose Castle and baby Silver got put in an enchanted sleep. I doubt things ended any better for Heinrich... assuming all of the heirs/rulers of the Kingdom of Heroes died, they left their kingdom without any successors to take the throne, right? I can only assume how badly the country spiraled- maybe they managed, maybe they didn't, who knows. But the thought that occurred to me was what if they couldn't decide who would take the throne in the absence of Silver's family? So they (the people, the good fairies, whoever you think) sticks a sword in a stone and makes it so that whoever manages to pull it free will be the next king?
And the one who managed to pull it, of course, was Arthur.
I think that fits well with Twisted Wonderland's lore as of this point, not that I think we'll ever get any details on what happened to the Kingdom of Heroes after the Knight of Dawn and Queen Leah (and possibly Heinrich) perished in what had been the Nation of Briar. I'm going on the assumption that Arthur and Merlin were around at some point though since Royal Sword Academy and Ambrose LXIII exist.
Anyway, this occurred to me all of a sudden and thought I'd throw it out there for whoever might enjoy or have thoughts to add onto it.

Honkai Star Rail hasn't managed to hold my attention as well as Genshin Impact (still love it though)- I decided to try ONE ten-pull and somehow got him.
Good luck to all still trying to pull him, may luck be with you!

I missed out on Idia the first time around, thought I'd try my luck. It certainly brightened a very long day.

Landlord AU
Hey! It's been a while since I wrote anything on here, either I haven't had any ideas or anxiety's gotten the best of me. But I'm back, even if just for a few days. I was playing one of those mindless idle app games when the idea came to me, I don't know if anyone's written something like this already or not.
WARNINGS: none? Correct me if I'm wrong
NOTES: not proofread; it's pretty obvious I had more ideas about some more than others- or none at all in some cases; I wrote what came to me in no particular order so it's definitely all over the place; I guess this could be read as our world or Twisted Wonderland; I probably sound like a broken record trying to keep the headcanons shorter and vague; I know a lot of it sounds familiar, but I used the backstories that would fit in any (general) scenario
Synopsis:
Crowley owned the building before you came into ownership a few years back. He decided to sell out/sign over the property to you after some insurance payout... The place was a mess. It really is a miracle it hadn't been condemned; you couldn't just shut it down though, the people living there wouldn't have anywhere else to go, and neither would you. So... unlike Crowley, you got to work trying to keep the place afloat.
You've certainly had your struggles, keeping the apartments from closing, but nowadays everything is fixed and modernized. A range of tenants have moved in, from struggling college students to one or two celebrities that would probably feel more at home somewhere far more exclusive... which means not a single day goes by without something happening. May that be good or bad.
So: care to meet your tenants?
♤♡---◇♧
Heartslabyul
Riddle: A medical student hiding from his mother. He moved in only a few months ago in a hurry, with very few belongings. Seems like there was a falling out between him and his mother that ended with him choosing to leave, he doesn't want to talk about it much. Riddle may have a full scholarship through college, but living away from home still costs money, so he's picked up a job at the animal shelter. Truthfully, he seems happiest when there's an animal nearby, the anxiety and stress of school seems to ebb away after a shift at the shelter... Maybe following in his parents' footsteps isn't for him, though it'll take some time to accept. Some woman called not too long ago trying to get ahold of him; you spoke to him after getting her to hang up. He asked you to just ignore her. He wouldn't say he's scared of his mother but... well, to say she'll quietly accept anything but her way would be a lie. And he just doesn't have the will to face her right now.
Trey: His parents owns the most popular family bakery in the city. He moved to the building after culinary school (widen his horizons, and all that); rather than work at the bakery though, he teaches cooking classes at the community center. He even offered a few free sessions for the building residents- they were a hit! ... Until they were cancelled indefinitely after an incident. Trey may keep his head down and try to fly below the radar, but it doesn't seem to work very well. Kids come begging for desserts when they see him, young ladies flirt with him in the halls, and all of the older residents dote on him- especially the little old ladies.
Cater: A rising media influencer. Mostly a vlogger, he documents just about everything he sees and thinks on his accounts. You found out when one or two of his followers somehow found out where he lived and decided to go pestering you about it. So you took a peek at his blog out of curiosity and just... keep checking it. Adores visiting hole-in-the-wall shops and eateries, most of these places you didn't even realize existed. Whenever he's feeling down, and just can't muster up the energy to smile and pretend, you can find him at the planetarium lurking in exhibits and shows (probably sleeps through one or two).
Ace: He works at Azul's laundromat... Or rather, the gambling room it's a front for. His older brother was a tenant of yours about a year ago for a few months... he was a complete and utter terror. You expected the same from Ace, especially with his less-than-legal job... but he's better behaved. Not great- he has that look like he's always scheming, and you wouldn't be wrong. Looking for shortcuts that'll cause more trouble than good, and unfortunately dragging some of the others along for the ride (Deuce).
Deuce: A student at the local community college working two or three odd partime jobs to make ends meet. He moved into your building with his mother back when you first came into ownership. He has an... extensive juvenile record, he never tried to hide it from you. He's trying to straighten out before there's no coming back; every now and again money is a bit too tight to make the rent, so he does work around the building for you.
Savanaclaw
Leona: Rebel rich boy. Technically, he's rebelling against his brother who's been pestering him about joining the family business/company. One of your most standoffish tenants, he avoids you at all costs (don't bother telling him he's scaring other residents, he doesn't care). Always looking for ulterior motives when someone tries to be friendly to him, he's so used to it at this point. He's definitely struggling mentally and emotionally trying to steady his life, it's obvious in the way he struggles to do even simple things sometimes. He's found that one of the best ways to snap himself out of it is to go and spend a few hours in a rage room. Only a baseball bat, him, and piles of junk waiting to be decimated. It might not be a good coping skill for some, but for Leona? He always leaves with his mind a little clearer and a feeling of calm.
Ruggie: Leona's personal housekeeper and errand boy. Technically he doesn't even live in the building, but with how often he's there, he might as well. Leona definitely puts him through his paces, but the paycheck is better than any other job he could get... and both would vehemently deny it if you mentioned it, but Ruggie seems to be the only friend Leona really has. He has a tendency to blend into the background, so he hears more secrets than anyone would believe. If there's gossip to be had, you hear about it from him long before anyone else finds out. Probably part of a big brother program; Ruggie had his fair share of mentors growing up, some good and some not so much. He figures it wouldn't hurt to pay it forward; having someone to look up to... it kept him from doing some really stupid things sometimes. Kept him out of deep trouble; maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he could do that for someone else now.
Jack: A personal trainer at the gym two blocks over. He started renting out of convenience. He may act distant, but all you really have to do is ask politely if you need help with something. It's not uncommon for some of the older residents to ask him for help carrying packages or groceries up to their apartment, or moving furniture do they don't hurt themselves trying. If you ever went into his unit, you'd find that he's practically turned it into a cactus garden. There are other plants among the many pots and planters, though he has an obvious favorite. And if he likes you enough? Maybe he'll give you one as a gift. The spare room in his apartment is made up for a kid; he doesn't live particularly close to his family, but his younger brother and sister come to visit a lot. You can see them dragging him around the city visiting the movies and toy stores and arcades... Look, he acts big and bad, but he obviously isn't. Everyone figured that out after the first time his sister came to visit and he walked around all day with bows in his hair because she insisted he looked good in pink.
Octavinelle
Azul: Owner of several small businesses in the area, from the laundromat to a cafe even you frequent. They're very successful, he even convinced you to let him open a coffee corner in the lobby (you get a portion of profits... it might not be very big though). It's not much of a secret that they're just a front for sketchier businesses- to anyone with eyes and ears that is. As long as his business isn't disturbed, he doesn't bother anyone in return. Has definitely offered to take the property off your hands once or twice. When he isn't in his office (leased in a fancy building somewhere uptown), he likes to browse through bookstores and go see a play or two- movies are fine, but sometimes it's nice to see real people rather than a screen (has run into Rook at one or two in the past).
Jade: Azul's business partner. Both are equally shady and untrustworthy, but where Azul plays the gracious host in the front of house, Jade makes sure everything in the back of house runs smoothly. Keep an eye on the employees, keep an ear out for any signs of law enforcement sniffing around, and keep their customers happy. He keeps an urban garden on the roof- with your permission of course. His one true love no doubt, you can always find him there on his days off.
Floyd: Kitchen manager. Don't be mistaken, Floyd is just as dangerous as the first two, but unless something seriously goes wrong with their 'side businesses', they leave the cafe to him. Attention span and mood swings aside, Floyd is good at his job. He knows how to run a kitchen and the menu is easy to handle. When he isn't working though (if he should be or not), you can normally find him at a few places. The aquarium, the skate park, the mall- it's never a sure bet he'll be there entertaining himself, but it's some of his favorite spots.
Scarabia
Kalim: Al-Asim heir incognito. He's come all the way to this city in hopes of finding a woman who loves him for his personality, not his status or money. He's trying to hide who he is, but with how chatty he is, he's almost let the cat out of the bag a few times. Everyone else in the building either adores his sunny personality and generosity, or they avoid the social butterfly at all costs- there's really no in between. He's tried working a few jobs since they arrived, though his lack of basic skills makes it hard to keep one. Last you heard, he got hired as a greeter at a Walmart-equivalent store: it's almost like the job was made for him. (Yes, this is literally just 'Coming to America'*)
Jamil: Kalim's friend and guardian. The only way Kalim's parents agreed to this whole charade was if someone went with him to keep him out of trouble. And who did he go to? You guessed it: Jamil. He's really been the only thing keeping him from getting mobbed by journalists, socialites, and scammers because he just doesn't know when to stop talking! It's infuriating to no ends. Jamil isn't as friendly as Kalim, but even he can't avoid making a friend or two in passing. When he isn't babysitting Kalim and trying to hurry along their little trip, he's teaching classes at a dance studio: something he enjoys doing, and he's getting paid for it. Win-win. Kalim is supposed to be looking for a bride- and yet lately, his favorite pastime is trying to play matchmaker for Jamil!
Pomefiore
Vil: A well-known moviestar and model. You would think someone who draws mobs of obsessed fans would feel more at home in some high security building, but here he is. Lately he's taken a step back from acting to focus on his own business ventures for the time being. He still models (has to make an income somehow), though most days you rarely ever see him, on occasion when he comes back late into the evening. It's no secret that Vil created his own line of health and beauty products to ensure there weren't any artificial chemicals in them, and it won't be too long until he reveals his own company, selling said products to the masses. He's doesn't let many people get a glimpse at how he's actually feeling, but you can proudly say that Vil feels secure in your building, enough that he isn't looking over his shoulder every time he goes to make a move.
Rook: You think Rook must be Vil's bodyguard, because why would a rich celebrity need a roommate? You know a bit about all of the other tenants, even Idia: not him though. All you know for certain is that he's French... maybe...? He's extremely friendly and easily wheedles other tenants into talking for hours even though they have other places to be. He likes to go out and photograph anything that meets his fancy, from a traffic jam to the pigeons at the park, he has a way of making everything look good. Sells them as physical prints. You don't see as many fans lurking around the neighborhood as you thought you would with a celebrity in the building (and oh, they stand out like a sore thumb)... it seems like there have been fewer porch pirates too. Ask him about it and he'll just quietly smile and walk away.
Epel: A college student studying plant science. Truthfully he never wanted to move to the city. He was perfectly happy living with his parents out in farm country working on the farm, but... well, they've been struggling and he thought maybe learning the up-to-date methods and all that hoo-ha might help. And it's way too far to drive from home to the city every day, so he's renting an apartment in your building. You can see him coming and going to classes all week long, and Friday night he leaves for home for the weekend. He always has a crate or two of overstock that he brings back with him Sunday night, shares it with the entire building. Even Mr. Health-and-Beauty himself seems to look forward to it. Speaking of Vil... you don't know what happened, but Epel seems to think they have a turf war going on. His first day in the building and they didn't even know that the other existed; by the second day you could hear the war drums.
Ignihyde
Idia: An independent game developer. After he signed the lease and moved in with his kid brother, you've almost forgotten he lives there. Never comes out of his unit, always has groceries and food delivered, pays all of his bills on time in full. If the building allows pets, he has the max limit of cats. If not... then he's keeping two or three kitties in secret (he prays there are no surprise inspections...). Idia would do just about anything for Ortho. All he has to do is ask... so when he started asking about joining the soccer team, he felt as if the world were going to end. Joining soccer would mean leaving the building, and other kids means their parents will be there too, and- he just can't do people... He gave in though, because he's happy when Ortho is. He may complain and take on, but he'll always be there for his games. It's one of the only times he doesn't feel like he's being watched and judged when he goes outside.
Ortho: Just about the most outgoing kid you've ever met. Where Idia acts like an elusive cryptid, you see Ortho so much you wonder if he ever leaves the building (he does online schooling). The moment the other children in the building get back from school, he's playing with them all in their units, or they run off to the park in a shouting and giggling mini mob. Is part of a community soccer team since online education obviously doesn't offer team sports. He begged Idia for weeks and he finally caved; Idia attends every game in person rather than letting him carpool with other kids. Truthfully, seeing him standing by the field in the middle of all the soccer moms howling like a mad man makes him so happy, even if they lose by a longshot. After all, he cared enough to come out of the apartment for him, right?
Diasomnia
Malleus: Truthfully, you don't know what Malleus does. He moved in when you were still trying to get the place up and running again, and yet... no mention of a job, coworkers, infuriating customers... No, he seems to spend his time either wandering the city aimlessly or locked up in his apartment for weeks on end. Months even. You wanna know why though? He's a ghost writer. Author of a best-selling series- and a few stand alone titles- and everyone none the wiser of it. A select few are aware, certainly, but this way he can write at his leisure, gets a comfortable pay, and can spend his free time doing as he pleases. (You may or may not be a hardcore fan and own all of said books) He likes to ask people about the books and hear what they think of the story and author... it amuses him to no end wondering how excited (or mortified) they would be if he told them he was the author after hearing everything they just said.
Lilia: A daycare attendant. The guy adores kids, and they seem to return the sentiment. He's never off duty when he's got a day off though- all of the parents in the building go to him if an emergency ever comes up. Is he trusted? Absolutely. Should he be? ... Probably not. He and Silver share an apartment; grown or not, he'll always be his son. Their apartment looks like a flea market exploded; Lilia's traveled just about everywhere, and he's brought souvenirs back from all those places. And with only so much room in their unit, everything is just scattered where it will fit, rather than on display. One of his favorite keepsakes though seems to be the foreign instruments he's hoarding in his room. Unfortunately, you tend to get noise complaints from his neighbors at all hours of the day. Playing one of his instruments in the middle of the night, or his video game audio is on full blast... Irritating, yes, but after the first time you call to ask him to keep it down, you don't get another complaint for a while. Unlike some people, he's reasonable.
Silver: He works reception at a vet clinic. With people coming and going constantly, the phones ringing all day, and the animals making noise in the back, it keeps him awake much better than stocking shelves or typing on a computer would. Not to mention he has yet to come across an animal that didn't love him. He thought of going into law enforcement, but when you're susceptible to drowsy spells at the drop of a hat, putting yourself in situations that could get yourself or others killed isn't a smart choice. Silver does what he can to serve and protect his community though- if there's a neighborhood watch, he's probably in it.
Sebek: Training at the police academy. Upon graduation from high school, under Silver's and Lilia's guidance he decided this was the best course of action to take. More docile in this AU, doesn't isn't obsessed/devoted to Malleus, though they're still close. One of the only people who know what he does; whenever he finishes a draft, Sebek will pull an all nighter to read it from start to finish, even if he'll be exhausted the next day. Malleus trusts him to judge it fairly and tell him what he thinks, and he takes it very seriously. Has a legal pad full of little notes that come to mind when reading a manuscript so he won't forget anything when Malleus asks what he thought. A very strong sense of right and wrong, the morally gray area makes him uncomfortable. Has considered reporting Azul's businesses, but... the guy scares him.
♤♡---◇♧
You can probably tell I struggled with a lot of these. I didn't really have any solid ideas, just a few key points; I tried to put together something I was satisfied with. And I'm truthfully not completely happy with it: but the main point is I wrote down what I thought of, I won't forget any of it now, and I (or anyone else if you so choose) can build upon the general idea and smooth out the rough edges later. If you have any ideas on how to make it better- feel free to leave a note, the perfectionist in me is going a tad bit nuts with how little idea I had actually going into this.
*For anyone unfamiliar with Coming to America, basically a crown prince gets tired of his pampered lifestyle, and after meeting his arranged bride-to-be, decides to take matters into his own hands. He wants to marry a woman who can think for herself and loves him for himself, not money or status. So, how does he plan to find this girl? Go incognito in the states.
Eddie Murphy plays the prince, I enjoyed it, totally recommend it.

AHH- I got Raiden Shogun! I got her on my second ten-pull! I've pulled on past limited banners without any luck, so I might've had pity? But I've tried to figure out how that works and I just can't wrap my head around it.
Anyway- I tried pulling for Ayato too, with no luck. I might try to pull again if I can save up any more Fates, but I'll probably wait for the next banner.

I'm not sure how long Genshin Impact will hold my attention this time around, but the thrill of pulling for characters is definitely something that keeps drawing me back. I could sit for hours just going through the stories and voice lines of new characters and be perfectly content.

Twisted Thanksgiving
It only occurred to me to write this when I woke up, so it may be short and a mess, but I wanted to get it out while it was still Thanksgiving. And if someone reading this isn't from the U.S.... well- sorry for the confusion.
NOTE: I guess this would be read as them in our world? No warnings or anything really, just fluff/crack.
♤♡---◇♧
Trey and Epel are the ones mostly in charge of cooking. Trey for obvious reasons, and Epel because I'm sure he could make some amazing apple desserts to go with the turkey. Ruggie even pops in to help some, he knows his way around a kitchen... and it doesn't hurt to get a bite or two before the food reaches the table either.
Sebek and Silver are in charge of guarding the kitchen: Lilia isn't allowed within ten feet of any food, and Trey doesn't care if they have to beat him with brooms, just keep him OUT of the kitchen! Everyone will thank them in the long run.
Ortho forced Idia to come out of his room for the 'festivities'... It isn't as horrible as he imagined, he's parked on the couch with a card table set up and a stack of board games to do while the Macy's Day Parade runs on just about every tv in the house. Azul is playing with him, of course, but some of the others jump in on it even (Ace tries to cheat at cards and still loses)- Leona gets up long enough to play a game of chess... Idia loses. Leona freaked him out.
Vil is probably nitpicking how unhealthy the food is and counting calories in his head- Rook drags him away to watch the parade. After all, it would be a shame to miss the performances between floats! Congratulations, Epel, Vil won't be breathing down your neck for the next few hours.
Speaking of Rook, he's probably the one who shot the turkey. Who needs to buy one when you can get your own?
I know Floyd isn't one to sit still or be easily entertained, but I could see him (and Jade and Azul) being fascinated by the parade. Simply because it's all different floats, music, and shows passing through. It might not entertain him the entire time, but you have a good hour- maybe two- of him content.
Cater is taking pictures of everything- the food, the games, the decorations, all of it is going on his Magicam. Once he's done that though... I can see him getting a jumpstart on the Christmas decorations. Who doesn't enjoy stringing up the lights and digging through ornaments? Well, plenty of people don't- he's not one of them though.
Poor Riddle is probably short-circuiting right now, his mother would never approve of this. They must be breaking a dozen or so rules, there isn't any order at all- someone give him a cup of tea and a puzzle or something, quick.
♤♡---◇♧
I probably could've thought it out better, but it never even occurred to me until I was helping my Mom and Nan get the chicken ready (we're not fond of turkey). Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to anyone who reads this, I hope you have a happy holiday!

Juno Margolyes Facts/Headcanons
I decided rather than write out the chapters from Juno's point of view, I'd write what I wanted to in one post, and some other random tidbits. Less boring for everyone in the long run.
♤♡---◇♧
In the prologue Juno goes to the Dwarves Mine with the others as a favor for Yuu- she thought they could use someone in their corner... and she might've been avoiding etiquette lessons Vil was giving to the first years. She saw Ace shoot through the air like a bottle rocket from the courtyard and HAD to know what the heck was going on. After that, it seemed like she somehow got dragged into their problems in one way or another. Doesn't play as big of a role as Ace and Deuce, but she helps out on occassion.
In 50 years, the only thing she'll remember about orientation is that Grim set her tail on fire.
The ghosts at Ramshackle make her jittery. Even if they're joking about staying forever, it's unnerving. She prefers to stay on the porch if possible when she goes to visit or drop anything off.
Epel is Juno's brother now if he likes it or not! She sort of... latched onto him once they were settled at NRC, she was five seconds away from having a nervous break down, saw him picking fights, and basically just said 'mine'. Between Vil breathing down his neck, and picking fights with people twice his size, someone needs to keep him from getting squashed, and she's taken the job... She called him pretty the first day they met and he just about skinned her for it. She avoids talking about looks at all costs with him, she'd prefer to keep her head, thank you.
In Chapter 3, Juno thinks Yuu should let everyone squirm a little before they fix it. Teach them a lesson... maybe not Ace, Deuce, and Grim- but some of the others might get some sense knocked into them.
If Juno could pick, she'd choose cats over dogs. No offense, she loves the huskies back home... but they won't sit on her lap and snuggle for hours on end.
Rook freaked her out at first- his obsession with watching others made her uneasy... Now, she just tries to pretend not to notice him when she gets that creeping feeling up the back of her neck. He's harmless right? ... Right?
She tries out for the VDC souly because Ari talked her into it over winter break. She thought it would be the coolest thing if Juno was on national tv, so... Fine. She figured she would actually try. That way she wouldn't be lying when she said she'd given it her all, and if she didn't make the cut- well, it would be a win-win... Except she got picked with the others. So THAT wasn't according to plan, and it just went downhill from there.
Ace teaches her how to play poker... Then he teaches her how to cheat at poker.
Juno's learned to tolerate a lot. She can put up with Sebek's obsession in Malleus, she can even ignore the racist comments. What she can't ignore is him speaking at jet-engine volumes. Her ears can't take it, she always comes away half deaf.
Unique Magic: Beast Call. She can sway animals into doing as she commands- the smaller the animal is, the easier it is to control multiple for longer periods. The larger the animal and the more willful they are, it's much harder. Where she could control a dozen or so little house cats for longer periods, she'd be lucky to keep a hold on an angry bull elephant for more than five or ten minutes. Even with small animals, if they want nothing to do with her, the more magic she has to expend to hold the spell.

Fan-Made Countries
I enjoy worldbuilding, it never gets boring. The two countries here are both based on the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale, and in my Storykeeper AU, the forgotten kingdom my OC Fayde is from split into these.
♤♡---◇♧
Wolf Woods
No exact cultural inspiration.
One of the wildest countries in current day Twisted Wonderland, most of it is made up of the dark woods. Where thieves and monsters and unspeakable things lurk. There aren't anymore cities in the country than when it first started, but they've expanded in size. Beastmen species consist of animals inhabiting forests and swamps mostly, though wolves outnumbered the others. Beastmen and animal. It's assumed that the children of the Big Bad Wolf declared themselves the rulers.
In the Wolf Woods, the succession of the throne doesn't rely on who was born first like most other places. No- it all depends on who is the strongest and most cunning. When the country was still new, the fights between heirs could get deadly. Yielding was not accepted, they wanted to come out on top or die trying. A few centuries back though it was finally organized: challenges would be judged by several people (in case they needed to literally pull the heirs off of each other), and the general consensus was that once someone was pinned, they lost. End of story, the victor is named the first heir. Once they're coronated, challenges cease. Not everyone always accepted this, obviously, but... another story, another time.
They twisted the Big Bag Wolf into: the Forest Guardian. A wolf who patrolled the forest trails day and night despite the dangers. He would find those who had wandered from the path and guide them safely to the forest's edge no matter what monsters crossed their path.

Red Towers
No exact cultural inspiration.
Much smaller than Wolf Woods, with only about eight villages in all, this is where the humans scared of the dark woods after what happened to Red Riding Hood retreated. They cut down the trees, burned the plants, and drove out anything and everything that they feared with torches, pitchforks, and spears. Their country was built on the foundation of fear, hate, and superstition.
The country gained its name from the watchtowers built along the border. Walls were built between the towers overtime out of their fear for the world beyond. They've isolated themselves for so long that technology, morals, and such are extremely outdated and old fashioned.
There is no one and only ruler in Red Towers. Every town has their leader. Some sort of elder or trusted figurehead. Those leaders meet and make the laws and such. (Has Twisted Wonderland explicitly mentioned any countries that aren't monarchies...? I can't remember)
They haven't twisted the Red Riding Hood story, so the huntsman is their 'Great'. Even in modern day though, tensions with the Wolf Woods is very real. As far as they care, they're the same as all those years ago and it's only a matter of time until history repeats.

I don't know why I'm so nervous about posting this. Anyway- I tried to make the vague ideas in my head make some sort of sense written out. I feel like Leona wishes Sunset Savanna had inheritance laws like the Wolf Woods.

Storykeeper AU: Fayde's Life
Moments between Fayde and the characters. No rhyme or reason, just what comes to me.
♤♡---◇♧
Lilia tries to get her into technology. The greatest invention since running water! And... she's all for jumping into the modern world since she seems to be stuck in it for the foreseeable future, but it's going to take baby steps. The first time a phone talks to her, she freaks out. She's much more open to learning than Malleus though, so she's already doing good in Lilia's opinion.
Fayde could completely destroy Trein's world if she tells him how wrong the history books are... maybe it's best to let him be.
Vil is bound and determined to get her to stop dressing like she's from the dark ages (which... she is). Fayde is perfectly happy the way she is, thank you very-... wave some modern day food in front of her, and she'll play along for a while. Donuts were an absolute hit, imagine what will happen when she discovers pizza. Even if it makes Vil cringe, she's still humoring him and that's all that matters. (Rook, go burn these clothes before she notices.)
Ace and Deuce irritate Fayde to no ends with their ridiculous nonsense... but she still puts up with them and even follows them around when they're up to no good. Half the time, she's literally thinking 'my lord, why do I put up with them?' Because: these two are like toddlers on a rampage sometimes, and it's the most fun she can ever remember having.
Fayde still ends up living in Ramshackle, she doesn't have magic herself. She LOVES the ghosts though- they can reminisce for hours about everything that's gone on in the past few centuries.
Grim sneaks into school after orientation since Fayde somehow ousted Yuu in this whole mess and he wasn't there in orientation. He still gets in trouble and Crowley goes to throw him out- Fayde volunteers to watch him though since she KNOWS he's supposed to be there. Has an easier time wrangling him than Yuu, but normally lets him do what he wants as long as he doesn't get himself killed.
Malleus vaguely resembles the Shadow. It made Fayde curious, so she started hanging out with him at Ramshackle. And the whole 'scary aura' doesn't bother her- she's seen some things in the past few eons, and she'll take a lonely dragon fae over those any day. And she may have been drawn to him because of his resemblance to Vail... but now when she looks at him, she doesn't see it. It's just Malleus...!
Sebek dislikes her because of the point above. He thinks she's plotting. Fayde is minding her own business.
She'll trust Floyd over Jade any day. Jade is always hiding what he's really feeling and planning behind that too-friendly smile; Floyd's moods might be unpredictable, but he doesn't hide them. You'll know if he's in the mood for a laugh or in the mood to squeeze you 'til you pop- Fayde will take the moodswings please.
Azul tries to make a deal with her... Listen. She watched over the Little Mermaid when it happened, she was acquainted with Ursula's scheming from the start; it's not gonna happen. A nice offer- but no.

Fayde: Wardrobe

Back when Fayde was alive, it was very much the dark ages compared to the present, and she was definitely poor. It wasn't easy to make ends meet, but she managed. She had the long dresses and cloaks you would expect (they weren't all blue, though those were really the only pictures I liked), maybe one or two nice things she would save for special occasions. Everything was mended repeatedly over the years and once it was outgrown or too ragged she'd reuse it for patches and things like that.

Fayde fed into the dark, and how she felt when everything came crashing down around her. And while the world was moving forward, everything was the same in the Keeper's World. She dressed like the dark, shadowy being she felt she was supposed to act like with this role.
Even when she got dumped into NRC, she continued to dress like this to begin with. It became her comfort to fall back on for all these years- this character she became. Much cleaner, neater, plainer than when she was alive. Almost all black, trying to blend into the background.

It takes a lot to drag Fayde into the present... so it's a good thing she ends up making a lot of friends at NRC, she can't fight them all off!
In all seriousness though, the more her own personality breaks through, the more it matches her new wardrobe. Bright colors, pretty patterns, feminine styles. Fluffy dresses and layered jewelry, cuddly sweaters. And green- lots of green and flower patterns. Big messenger bags and backpacks, not those tiny little clutch purses- she's the type to over pack for just about everything.

Halloween on the right and Camp Vargas on the left. She isn't too interested in the costumes during Halloween... but why not dress up from another era and tell stories to the guests (aside from the Magicam Monsters)? Scary stories and old fairytales alike, she'll put on a one person show to entertain them if she has to! (Not that it's a chore, she loves telling a good story)
As for camping, she'd probably be playing score keeper/referee like Yuu in the event. Maybe she'd even help out with a touch of her magic- to sell the illusion an all...! Either way, you've got to be dressed for some wear and tear when your in the middle of a survival camp.
During the Ghost Marriage, she doesn't really wear anything special; the same dark style she prefers in her role. She loses her temper trying to talk some sense into Eliza, said a few things she shouldn't, and got herself slapped.
