so... I read "The Chalice of The Gods" cover to cover in one sitting yesterday. I didn't realize how much I missed seeing the OG trio interact until I got it back. Except now that I have, I can't let them go.

I'm halfway through watching Season 3, episode 9 of 'Ginny and Georgia' right now, and I have we usually only see Max for the most part from other people's POV, but this episode I really feel like Max. The feeling of always having to be fine and high energy. Of all of your friends being closer to each other than they are you. Having them intentionally or unintentionally leave you out and drift away from you. Feeling like you think, care, and worry more about those people than they do you. Wondering if they would even care as much about losing you as you would them. While I don't usually feel like I identify with Max in most ways, I really did with this storyline, and it really made me feel seen. A part of me wants a friend like Max, and I think it's because we both have those same thoughts of trying to be what everyone else needs.

Have you ever read a fic with a ship you hate (or it genuinely disgusts you) but suffer through it anyway because you have been starving for a fic with a certain kind of plot, other ship, character dynamic, or something of the like that is present in the fic and cant be found anywhere else..

I'm rereading Catching Fire for the first time since I read Sunrise on the Reaping, and let's just say I'm not okay. Like every interaction Katniss has with Haymitch, Wires, Effie, Beetee, and Mags holds so much more depth now. In a way, that makes me teary. Because, of course, the only people Katniss wants in her corner are the very people that Haymitch had in his during his Quarter Quell. So, of course, when he says, "Of course you do," he really means it. Those words now hold a whole new meaning. Because of course, with how alike they are, Katniss sensed in a few hours of meeting them the same thing Haymitch has known in his bones for the last 25 years. That they are safe, they can be trusted.

I don't fully get everyone hating on the lost hero and Jason Grace until he died in Trials of Apollo. Everyone was mad that he wasn't Percy, but i personally loved Jason. Don't get me wrong, I love Percy, but I also love Jason's dynamic with Leo and Piper. The whole point was that he was a NEW character for this NEW series, even if it is a spin-off and continuation to the story.

The fandom: if Rick were to kill off any of the 7, let it be Jason

I think it is comedic gold that the way Peter finds out about wolfstar in ATYD is by walking in on them with no clothes on and Sirius pulling Remus on top of him.

You know what I would have wanted to see in civil war in the fight between Peter and Steve. Peter quoting Steve's PSAs to him just to fuck with him and throw him off.

Jon's reaction is what makes most sense to me because isn't it common knowledge that the bats&birds plan for everything. It is quite literally their thing. Their own 'powers' of sorts is to be prepared for every worst-case scenario they can think of. Isn't that partially why they can go toe to toe with people with all sorts of superpowers. They are intimidating because their skill and intellect are entirely their own, without any special powers.

Is it just me or does anyone else love the trope where the guy is loopy, high, drunk, or just plain out of it and they are either

A. angry when their girl touches them and they're like "DONT touch me i have a wife/fiance/girlfriend"

B. Crying because they can't find their girl and think they left them or think they're not good enough or deserving of them

OR

C. Crying and/or telling people how much they love their girl and want to be with them or the rest of their lives

If my future husband/ boyfriend isn't like this, I won't be mad just disappointed because, I mean how cute is that, to know that even when their not in their right mind they love you so much and know it in their whole being and it's just so wholesome.
