Peter Parker is a gentle and simple guy. He’s outgoing and chatty with his friends and reserved yet expressive with others. But the moment you walk in the door his tongue feels like lead and his surroundings disappear like he’s in a cut scene, one he’d happily relive over and over again might i add.

Most people take a liking to him, whether it be due to genuine interest,kindness,or pity, he usually ended up on people’s good sides. So when he introduces himself to you he imagines you’ll smile or at least awkwardly give him a loose handshake back. But when you just side eye his outstretched hand, narrow your eyes, offer a smile that looked more like a sneer and sidestep him, he doesn’t know how to feel!

The butterflies in his stomach are at war, some dying at the thought that you already hate him while more spawned at the possibility that it wasn’t him that agitated you,but something else…either way he felt silly for being so hopeful.

You soon gained a reputation as the moody new-girl. The one who sat at lunch alone and stared at anyone who stepped too close to her. And you weren’t known as a stellar friend-maker either.

Every day Peter would watch as you sat alone,ate alone or did group projects solo. He wanted to talk to you, become your first friend and make sure you weren’t alone but he was honestly too scared…

Every day he’d rant to Ned about how cute you were and everyday Ned would listen with a smirk,a little scheme coming together in his head as he lent his ear to his best friend.

He even asked Michelle for advice on how to interact with you, given that you were both girls, but they both knew he’d probably never use any of it.

One day when peter rushed into class,nearly late, he rushed over to ned and michelle to sit with them, only to find that his usual seat was taken up by their bags while a box MJ said was ‘too fragile to move’ rested on his table.

He would’ve stood and argued but class was going to start, so he scanned the class for another empty seat and walked to it with red ears and a heart that was beating out of his chest. (of course the seat was next to you :3)

He sat down beside you, noticed you were doodling and instinctively leaned in to look,which prompted you to shut the book harder than necessary,but not before he caught a glimpse of something that looked like “[your initials] + P.P”

His pulse sped up again and he felt his face heating up like a thermostat on a winter day. He turned back to Michelle and Ned, only to see them smirking and nodding at him. This was a set up.

He knew he couldn’t switch seats and honestly he didn’t want to so he just continued on with class till it ended and you moved to your next class.

This happened the entire day and peter and you ended up sitting together throughout the whole day.

When it came time for lunch, he walked in and saw you alone and after he’d grabbed his tray he looked at Ned and Michelle who were both motioning towards you who were sat all by your lonesome. So he swallowed his fear and took the plunge.

He walked over to you and gently sat his tray down at your table like he was scared you would ask him to leave, (he was) but you didn’t. You looked up at him and this times your gaze started harsh but once you recognised him, it softened.

You two at in silence and when lunch was over you set off for your classes and continued the day’s pattern of sitting together.

This continued for a few days with you even helping him and handing him stationery if he needed. And finally a after three days you had your first actual full conversation.

He noticed you had a star wars pin and asked about it, your eyes seemed to brighten and your entire demeanor shifted to one he’d never expected. The more you talked and got lost in explanation, the more you glowed. Your mannerisms were lively and he felt his heart thump louder with each word.

And then even that pattern continued. You would talk to him and only him most of the time, only showing him kindness, only letting him see the light in your eyes. But slowly you began to become more social as your friendship progressed. You met MJ and Ned and instantly connected over nerdy interests and hobbies.

You four became a sort of motley crew, four oddballs cruising through classes together. Completing assignments and hanging out together after school.

But a month after your first interaction, you walked into class like it was a normal day, not knowing your P.P had a surprise for you.

At your desk was a paper with a doodle “ [your initials] x P.P”

You nervously looked up around and found peter standing near his seat next to you. He sat down and you only hoped he hadn’t seen the paper before you turned it over to hide it and saw a “I Like You Too (P.P)”

You looked back at him and he looked redder than his super suit.

Instead of saying anything, you placed your hand over his and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

Peter’s no stranger to overthinking and it’s side effects. Before he had you, ned, and michelle, he didnt do too well in the ‘making friends’ part of school and as a result, he learned how to pick himself up and/or cope with it through other ways. But now when he sees you going through the struggles he had to endure alone, he’s determined to make sure you don’t suffer alone.

He always manages to sense right when you’re slipping away into a detrimental downward spiral and pulls you back. Sometimes it’s during class and be can’t really talk you through it, so he holds your hand and gives you two gentle squeezes to ground you and bring you back to some sense of equilibrium.

If it’s worse than the usual he stops paying attention to the lesson (it’s fine, he can figure it out on his own anyway!) to talk you through it, whispering reassuring phrases he knows you’ll appreciate. He does this only because he knows you go silent during these phases and that means that of the teacher reprimands him, its only him who’ll get sent out, not you. This boy would never get you in trouble, ever.

Every night before you both go to bed, he stays on call with you and reassures you over and over again. You both have school the next day and he’s tired from web-slinging around the city doing vigilante things, but he’d stay awake all night if meant you’d get to go to bed with a lighter head.

When you get scared that he’ll find you annoying and just leave, he tells you that he’d never do that. He won’t throw you away. He’ll stay, he’ll communicate and he’ll always reassure you. He’s with you till the end, no takesy backseys!

Sometimes he fumbles. Whether it be reading you wrong or saying the wrong thing to try and comfort you, but he always apologizes and learns from his mistakes. Your brain may tell you that communicating how you felt is childish and selfish and that you’re just being dramatic, but he always reassures you that you aren’t and he’s glad you tell him how he messed up so he learns. And trust me, he never messes up the same way twice.

He often feels powerless because even though he knows listening to you helps more than he’d give himself credit for, he just wishes he could reach into your brain and talk some sense into it, but he can’t so he’ll try his best to help you through other ways.

He writes you letters detailing how he loves you, why he loves you and why you’re the one and only one for him. He knows that they mean a lot to you and that they help ground you when he isn’t around. He stays up at night before big ‘trips’ writing you affirmation letters to keep you company for when he has to go off the grid.

Sometimes when you need space to breathe and a hug to ground you, he’ll whisk you away to the top of your apartment building to relax in the cool night air while watching the city below. It sounds more stressful than comforting at first, but it becomes your special thing together. Late night vent sessions which end in you fast asleep and him returning you to your bed without your parents finding out.

But while Peter reassures you at every turn, while he pledges to grant you security via affirmations as much as he humanly can, he knows that your reliance on his words, opinion and praise isn’t healthy in the long run. He knows that you need to become reliant on your own internal positive self talk… he also knows that’s isn’t easy.

He still tries nonetheless. He googles how to help you develop more positive thought patterns, how to deal with your sudden spirals. He tries his damndest. He even asks Tony to make you your own AI assistant that could help you better than he could.

If none of these work, he doesn’t get mad or frustrated or upset at you. He knows what it’s like, and it’s hard. It’s hard to unlearn self-hate and it’s even harder to learn positive self-talk. But while it may be a long and windy road ahead of you, Peter will be right by your side,holding your hand, catching you when you fall and reminding you you’re worth more than you could ever even fathom. He’ll stick beside you through these trying struggles and guide you through that dark tunnel. It’s possible, he knows it is, because he went through it too and when you come out the other end he’ll be just as proud of you as ever

Loki of all people knows what its like to hate yourself. To despise yourself so much you want to rip off your skin and be someone else, so when you start hurting yourself with your words, negative thoughts and self hate his heart shatters in his chest. Because he knows what it feels like and he doesn’t want you to suffer the same way

He’s memorised your tell-tale signs. He knows when you’re spiraling or doubting yourself and he shows up to comfort you or be whatever you want him to be.

Whether it be a puppy who’s so fluffy a single cuddle is enough to drown out your sorrows or just his calm, empathetic, princely self. He’ll show up for you like no one before him ever had.

On nights where you’re scared he’ll leave you, when you feel like you’re too much, he’ll hold your hand and softly tell you how no matter what, you’re his. And you’re the only one he wants to spend the rest of his long life with.

The king of intuitive affirmations. Loki knows what its like to be stuck in your own head and because of that he knows just what you need to hear right then. No one ever affirmed him, told him he was enough or that he wasn’t hard to love, but he’d be damned if no one ever told you what you needed to hear. This god would kill for you, die for you, raze cities in your name, so be damn sure he’d pull you out of your void when you need it the most.

He knows words can cut deeper than any knife, he’s an expert at crafting words to kill, but he also knows when to weave them to be soft and comforting. He never lies when he comforts you. Every time he says he loves you, that you’re worthy of love and affection and kindness and space, he’s telling the whole truth and nothing buttt the truth because he doesn’t need to lie. Everything he says is true and even though it’s hard for you to accept, even though you’ll deny it, he’ll still repeat himself until you believe him or until you decide that maybe you aren’t as bad as the voices say you are.

Seeing you hurt, hurts him and he knows you’d hate to hurt him. Now hear me out. Loki is the god of mischief and a master manipulator, so i think it’s quite possible that he’d manipulate you into not hating yourself as much. “My dear, you break my heart, why would you think that about yourself?🥺” he knows you’d immediately rush to comfort him, and in doing so would forget your pain. It isn’t healthy and 4 out of five dentists don’t recommend it but when he gets desperate he reverts back to him gaslight,gatekeep, girlboss ways.

Of course he knows that that could backfire. It could end up with you hating yourself even more, but he knows when to and not to use that particular method. But if he ever miscalculated the severity of your situation and he ended up hurting you instead ? He’d never ever forgive himself

He writes you long letters detailing how and why he loves you. He writes you essays about all the things that are good about you, about how he sees you and while they may not completely dispel the darkness, they act as a guiding light to help you navigate it.

The first time you told him how you felt about yourself, Loki cried. He, honest to Odin, cried. He hugged you tightly and rocked you as tears ran down his face and his icy blood boiled with rage towards whoever put those lies in your head, and trust me, he knows a lie when he hears one, he’s literally their god!

He just can’t understand how someone as sweet,kind, loving and understanding as you could ever see yourself as anything but those things.

Every time he sees you silently punish yourself over a mistake or perceived failure, he walks over to you and holds your hand before affirming you and taking you to distract yourself, or vent, whichever you need in that moment.

When he heard you say that the way you hurt yourself isn’t ‘really’ self harm, he nearly slapped you. Because of course it is! Just because the way you harm yourself doesn’t leave behind physical scars, doesn’t mean it isn’t real! Your pain, your anguish, your sorrow and despair, they’re as real as blood, bone and the pulse within your veins. Your pain is real, no matter what the world says and he’d kill anyone who disagreed with him.(besides you of course)

Loki Odinson of all people knows that the way to combat despair isn’t senseless positivity, it’s space, understanding and affirmation. And he’ll be there for you, to pick you up when you’re down, no matter the century or lifetime. He’ll always be here for you no matter what and he just hopes that when you need him, you’ll let him help you.He loves you so much it hurts and if he can take your pain away forever, he’d do it in an instant. Because you matter, your pain matters and your feelings matter. No matter how small they may be in comparison to someone else’s. Peter Parker is the softest most gentle and just amazing soul you’ll ever meet this side if the fiction-verse. And I stand by that🙏

He remembers everything. Major milestone Anniversaries (like your first kiss, your half a year anniversary and your anniversary) and even the smaller things like when you tried that new food spot together and actually liked it! He remembers all the times you’ve grown and experienced new things together.

To go along with that, he always has at least one picture to remember each occasion. He also has many backups of these important memories, even ned has a copy just in case.

He loves crafting dates. Being a Highschool /college kid, peter isn’t exactly the most financially stable guy, so he loves when you guys can both have fun and spend time while not breaking the bank.

But make no mistake, he may be financially strained, but he still takes you out when he can. He saves up to buy you things he knows you like but wouldn’t get for yourself. It may be a once in a blue moon kinda’ thing, but he does it when he can.

His gifts are always thoughtful. They may not be flashy or expensive, but they’re personal and reflect just how much he sees you. You mention you like something in passing? Bam! He gets you something small he saw that featured that thing when he saw it while he was out with Ned :3

He’s also very crafty. If he’s hard up on cash he’ll make you something. He’ll stay up late learning to crochet a rose for you, learn to fold origami versions of your favorite animal and engineer beautiful valentines. This man may not have much but he wants to give you the world, even if it’s just a scaled-down paper-mâché version.

Even if y’all aren’t studying the same thing he still loves studying with you. You both take turns making fresh pots of coffee to keep each other awake and he’s excellent at helping you find ways to memorize even the most complex things.

He isn’t always a yappy (compliment) golden retriever and sometimes he has really low days. He’s juggling a lot between school and being a superhero so please be there for him when he needs quiet companionship. Sometimes he’ll vent about his frustrations, he’ll even break down crying, but more often than not he just needs someone to hold his hand and anchor him, to remind him that life is more than just the storms, its the sunshine that pokes out from around the corners and shines through afterwards.

He is very expressive though. And if you catch him at the right time or just ask him about his current project or hyper fixation, he’ll go on and on for hours! If it’s complex and science-y he’ll explain it flawlessly and leave no room for misunderstanding, all without making you feel like an idiot. He actually loves it when you ask questions because it signals to him that you really do care, but if you just stare at him and nod your head he still cherishes it because he knows that you wouldn’t just ignore him like that.

He loves it when you haven’t watched movies that he loves because it means you get to watch it for the first time with him! He has the answers to any questions you have and if he doesn’t he’ll google it right then and there with his phone set to the lowest brightness option just so you don’t have to go on clueless. But if there’s a movie that he likes that you really don’t want to watch (i.e. a horror one) he doesn’t push. Furthermore he never guilts you into watching the things he likes and loves watching the things you love too, even if they aren’t really his cup of tea.

The king of communication. He doesn’t want you two to go to bed mad so even if it means he’ll be sleepy for his 9 AM class, he stays awake and talks things out with you till you come to a resolution. But, if its late and you’re both tired and talking then isn’t the most productive measure, he’ll bring it up the next day and talk to you about it.

He also always says “I Love You” before ending any call you both have, even if its a short 5 second one!

He tries to understand everything about you, if you’re AFAB he remembers your monthly dates and always has supplies on hand in case it comes at an untimely…time?

He remembers all of your boundaries and never oversteps them and if someone else oversteps them, he’ll stand up for you and make sure you get an apology. No one disrespects his significant other, especially not in front of him!

Takes amazing pictures of you, and when I say amazing i meann amazing! They’re so good they’re magazine quality! Especially when he gets the camera he’s been saving up for, then it’s just click!click!click! Hit after hit of perfect pictures, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t take meme-worthy ones too, because he absolutely does >:3

Loves doing couple trends, not the mean kind, the soft and cute ones, like little coordinated dances or meme remakes, he loves having fun with you any way he can!

When he tells you about his alter ego he’s honestly expecting you to be shocked and he’s even ready for you to end the relationship but when you don’t, he’s so relieved he cries. He’s just grateful he can share all facets of his life with you because you are his safe space, you are his sanctuary and he’ll Love you till he draws his final breath in this universe. Then he’ll wake up and Love you in his next lifetime too :3

Loki’s not the easiest person to get along with, but if you manage to steal his heart, you’re sure to be in for an experience.

He’s a charmer and he has a silver tongue, that’s something every version of him has in common, but this loki will use his power with words to woo you and make you feel like the most special person in all the nine worlds.

He’s a prince and he’s got prince money, so expect him to spoil you with things he knows you’ll like. Loki’s the silent watchful type so expect him to notice little things about you.

When you yap, he remembers, most of the time, and you’re re honestly shocked at how good his memory is.

But when he gets into icy moods, your good intentions get lost in translation and your attempts at trying to figure out whats wrong might trigger him to lash out. Give him space and he’ll apologize when he calms down.

Oh! Youre one of the few people he willingly apologizes to, without pride (okay maybe a little pride) he accepts his mistakes and wants to show you he isnt the monster they all say he is.

When he does need comfort, youre the first person he seeks out. He comes into your room silently and when not even a tiny witty remark leaves his lips, you know he just needs an anchor to ground him. He’ll curl upto you and let you card your fingers through his raven black hair and on rare occasions when he actually does want to vent, he’ll talk in the softest voice youve heard him use. He’s secretly terrified youll think he’s weak and be disgusted by him, but the way you reassure him and kiss him on his forehead reminds him otherwise.

When he told you he was a frost giant, he expected you to be repulsed but when you say his species doesn’t affect how much you love him, his mind freezes. He’d been anticipating a negative reaction, and he’d rehearsed how to handle them but this immediate acceptance left him so shocked and relieved he cried as he hugged you tight, whispering a small yet meaningful ‘Thank You’.

He has a lot of trust issues you’ll have to work through together. He knows it’s unfair to you, but he’s trying. For you he’s trying to be better.

I feel like he’s someone who usually lets people leave if they want, he’s used to being the dispensable one or the one who gets left behind so he’s learned to not attach himself to even those he cares most about, handling the loss of companions and friends with a cold and logical view. But if you manage to show him you’re not leaving, that you aren’t going to abandon him, then he’ll love you with all he has, itll take him a while to learn to though.

His magic is hella strong and he loves that you’re fascinated with it. He’ll do little tricks to cheer you up when you’re down and if you have magic in you, he’ll teach you himself.

The dates he takes you on can be both luxurious and even cozy. Loki is (quietly) very protective over you. He knows you can handle yourself, but he still can't help but worry from time to time. Whether you notice it or not, he's always got an eye on you. So naturally, when he catches wind that you're being confronted by a group of suspicious men in a shady part of the city, he's there in an instant.

Shows up in full armor for pure intimidation factor, and a grin that's way too pleasant for the spiraling fury and ill intent cooking up inside him.

Pretends that he just happened to stumble upon the whole situation, which is an obvious lie.

PROTECTIVE HAND ON YOUR WAIST. PROTECTIVE HAND ON YOUR WAIST. PROTECTIVE HAND ON YOUR WAIST.

He will try to remove you from the situation as quickly and smoothly as possible but will NOT hold back if the creeps persist in any way.

Oh, they looked at you wrong? Dead. They made a nasty comment? Dead. They dared to challenge him?? Deady dead.

That man has powers beyond the perverts' comprehension, and he won't hesitate to use them whatsoever.

Remember that one scene in the 1893 episode of the Loki series where the dude knocked off his hat and he poofed him away in a puff of green smoke right on the spot? Yeah, it'd be like that.

Definitely scolds you for going to that part of the city without him. Loki hates feeling scared, and you being in danger scares the hell out of him. He might give you the whole "what were you thinking??" speech and be a little sharp for a while, but it's only because he was so worried about you.

But, if the whole situation has you shaken up, he'll soften. His pride doesn't allow him to admit it often, but you're his weakness, and seeing you frightened and upset makes him cave without question.

Takes you into his arms and holds you close against his chest, keeping a secure hand on your back and in your hair, softly mumbling against your locks.

"It's alright now, I've got you...I would never let anyone lay a hand on you.."

He'll likely take you straight back home after all of that, tightly holding your hand and paying extra attention to all of your surroundings.

It's subtle, but if you pay close attention, you'll notice Loki staying a bit closer to your side for the rest of the day. Not in a clingy way, he won't smother you, but he might follow you to the next room, keep a hand at your waist, or just let his eyes follow you around more often.

If you plan on going anywhere else, he'll go with you. Just in case..
