i have a brain problem that prevents me from understanding people who need so much specifically newly-released TV shows that they're upset by the prospect of going a few months without new ones being produced

those first couple weeks after escaping a time loop have gotta be disorienting as all fuck. all those little cues that used to tell you what's about to happen are now triggers that cause you to brace for something that isn't coming. you have to relearn the permanence of death -- hell, you have reacquaint yourself with the entire concept of finality altogether. everything keeps changing but it never changes back and you keep having to remind yourself that this is normal. "it won't reset anymore," you echo to yourself, over and over and over, like a broken record, like you're still trapped in a loop, like someone who escaped the time loop but was doomed to bring it into the future with them

The vacancy that hid in the covers of Dazais bed was something he had grown accomstumed to, the fridgid feeling of loneliness consumed him almost everyday. So when you came into his life, and engulfed him in a warmth he knew no one could describe- it just fascinated him. It was an addicting feeling that he chased every day.

No longer did he have to come back home and expect silence and a cold feeling of nothing that constantly had him at in a chokehold- it was now the opposite. He would feel you engulf him in a hug while whispering sweat nothings, the tender and soft touch’s that would be exchanged between you two- the intimate moments you shared would be cherished by him for longer than anyone could imagine. Anything you did would caused the butterflies in his stomach to fly freely, what an odd sensation- was it not?

The way you wouldn’t pressure him to tell you anything, the way you would lay his head on your lap gently brushing his coffee colored locks. Even if it was the other way around he would love it, waking up every morning to be met with a lovely smile from you- or even waking up to the smell of freshly cooked breakfast.

The thought of getting married had barely ever danced across his mind, never did it really occupy his thoughts as well as many other things did.

Dazai would never have thought you would stand there with a beautiful white garment draping over your figure as you walked down the aisle, bouquet in hand while tears threatened to overflow and fall down his cheeks.

Never did he think he would have someone to love, but as always- never think somethings impossible and always expect the unexpected. He had rejected affection, and he himself almost never held his heart in his sleeve but with you now present in his life, maybe it wouldn’t be bad to do such things.

He would surely thank Cupid for hitting you with an arrow, and luckily it was him who you fell for and no one else. Because now he had you all to himself, your precious smile, your little habits, everything about you made him feel so jubilant.
