I'm a sucker for a good enemies to lovers story too so dkjhjshdf I'm so happy for this! Anyway let's begin!

My forever and always favorite enemies to lovers story is "404" by my beloved @freedomfireflies When I say I need 404!harry, I couldn't mean it more! I had a dream about him for real 😭 It's so well written and you can literally feel the tension between the two characters. 404!harry is my baby and I want to put him in my pocket and have him there forever. It's everything you could ask for in a story with that trope. 🙌 😍 (personal fav: a-mazing and jealous - I was on my knees)

Also please do yourself a favor and read @harrys-titties "Harry's a dick and Y/N hates him for it". It's really amazing! The way she built their relationship was precious 🥰 And I loved that Harry's best friend was Sarah, it was a beautiful touch. When you will start reading it, you will find yourself unable to put it down. (um also I have the "y/n and harry hate each other, until they don't" in my "to read list" and I'm sure it will be amazing)

Additionally "grumpy h" by my favorite @cupid-styles is *chef's kiss* seriously. I really liked how their dynamic began to change and they were so soft for each other 😇 so cute 🥰 Oh and I almost forgot it! "You're my last shot" is an enemies to lovers story too and believe me it's so sweet, I loved it. I was reading the blurbs until 3 AM in the morning hehe 😇

Of course it's not a proper rec list for enemies to lovers stories if I don't mention "aster" by @moonchildstyles ! It is really good! Like reallyyy good😍 It's the cutest thing ever hdshgjghshjg Now I'm thinking about it, I will reread it 😍 I was obsessed with this the first time I read it.

Also "Ballerina Y/N and Ballerina Harry" by @jawllines ! Oh my God, it's so good! Actually I can't express how good it is, words aren't enough! I just love it. I started rereading it actually the other day and I couldn't stop myself. I have a soft spot for it 😇 Their chemistry is everything! 😍 The characters are amazing and Y/N is a queen! Also Ballerina!Harry is exactly my type so 😇

@be-with-me-so-happily has a great enemies to lovers story too! "Not what we bargained for" is freaking good 😍 Had a great time reading it!

Oh and of course "Harry is Y/N's producer & she doesn't like him" and "Y/N & Harry kind of hate each other but have to walk together in their friends' wedding party" by @0nlythrowharrybeaux ! Her stories are so addictive 😍 Her writting has an incredible flow 😍

One last thing: it's not actually a story but @justlemmeadoreyou ' headcanons are crazy and I guarantee you that the mean!friends with benefits!harry headcanons are so f*cking hot 😱check them out 😍 (also she's making a series based on them, part 1 is out and I'm telling you it's so good! Cant' wait for the next part! - it may be a friends with benefits trope but they started as enemies, they didn't like each other much so yeah that's why I put it here)

I Don’t Like This Game!

Okay first of all, THANK YOU FOR SENDING THIS IN. @atharryshouse and I were literally just kind of talking about this so this is extremely funny to me. Hope this is okay!

“Yeah, okay. I’ll do it.”

I get flustered and I start to argue with him.

“Come on Harry, plea- wait what? You’ll do it?!”

He laughs and nods before he pulls me into his arms.

“I know it’s important to you and how bad can it really be?”

I smile and peck his lips before running into my office to set up.

After ages of asking, Harry has finally agreed to stream with me on twitch and I know just the game to play.

I get my camera situated and I start the stream.

“Welcome back my little lovelies! Today we’ve got a lot in store! But first, I’d like to welcome a very, very special guest, aka, it’s time for a boyfriend reveal! Harry! Come in here please!”

Harry walks in and sits in the gaming chair next to me, smiling into the camera. The chat immediately blows up.

Harry and I laugh at the comments and I hug his arm as I read them a little bit before I decide to get started.

“Okay my lovelies! As I said, we’ve got a lot in store for today’s stream! Today, we will be playing… H can I get a drumroll?”

Harry smiles and starts pounding on my desk lightly in a rhythm.

“We’re playing The Mortuary Assistant! Literally one of the most requested games on my channel!”

Harry looks at me, an eyebrow raised.

“You said we were going to be playing Animal Crossing, Y/N..”

I shrug and smile.

“Yeah well I changed my mind. Anyways! To the game! Now I played the demo and I absolutely loved it! Harry, any thoughts on what this could be about?”

He lets out a sigh and gives me a knowing look.

“It’s a horror game, isn’t it?”

I just shrug and smile.

“Guess you’ll have to wait and find out. Now I’m gonna let you start since I’ve already kind of played it, that way you get your feet wet.”

He nods and takes the mouse and the keyboard, placing it closer to him. He starts a new game and the dialogue begins to play.

“So.. I just need to find her keys? I’ve literally checked every place that makes sense and I can’t find them.”

I snort and shake my head.

“If I’ve learned one thing about playing games, check everywhere and everything.”

He continues to search for the keys and after a hilarious 10 minutes, he finds them and I let out a loud laugh, which earns me a glare.

“You knew where they were, didn’t you, Y/N?!”

“I’m sorry, H! I wasn’t sure if it was the same place as the demo! And I saw them so I thought you would’ve too! I didn’t think it would take you 10 minutes!”

He rolls his eyes playfully and continues to follow the instructions, collecting the materials he needs. He enters the office and jumps when he hears a sound come from another room in the game.

Y/Nisthequeen69: Does Harry not like horror? He seems easily frightened.

I shake my head, laughing as I enter the question.

“It depends how scary it is. When we watched the Last of Us, he hid his head in my shoulder a few times. He’s my cute little scaredy cat, aren’t you bubs?”

Harry rolls his eyes and nudges me with his shoulder. Harry continues to play, his eyes widening at the dialogue.

“Possession?! And I can’t leave! What in the hell kind of game is this, Y/N?!”

I snort and shrug. He continues to listen and shake his head.

“Demonic Possession, Y/N? Are you kidding? Why would you put me through this?!”

The comments blow up again and I snort as I read them.

“Narrygrl4life says ‘that’s not very TPWK of you, Y/N’. Please! He’ll get over it! I’ve seen Love Actually 16 times because of him! I feel like this is my payment!”

Harry rolls his eyes and moves the gurney into the body chamber, but he jumps when the lights flicker.

“Jesus!”

“Harry, calm down!”

He moves a body back into the embalming room when the lights go out again.

“Y/N, I don’t like this game! Take over please for the love of god!”

I laugh and shake my head.

“You’re doing fine, bubs. It’s just a game, remember? Nothing can hurt you. I’m right here.”

He nods and takes a deep breath before he keeps going. He moves into the office and the room becomes blurry and voices can be heard, making me laugh.

“You’re sadistic, Y/N. Making me play this. I’m going to try to leave.”

He makes his way back out to the car in the parking lot and attempts to start it. The car stalls and refuses to starts and suddenly, in the doorway of the mortuary, a shadow of a person appears, making Harry curse.

“Fuck I hate this game so much! Why did I let you talk me into this?!”

I laugh and shake my head, kissing his shoulder.

“It’s gone now, Harry. Just go back inside. I’ll help you with the possessions.”

He sighs and gets out of the car, heading back inside and into the embalming room. He continues to follow the instructions and he seems to remain calm.

“What was that? Why was there a knock at the door? I’m the only one here…”

He hesitantly moves the mouse around and I just shrug.

“Don’t worry about it. Keep going, you’re doing great babe.”

He starts to embalm the body and he freaks out a little.

“Is this how people are embalmed?! This is horrible! Needles to keep the jaw shut?! Your sister really does this?!”

I laugh and hug his side.

“Honestly I don’t know. But god I’m definitely getting cremated. This is horrible.”

He nods in agreement and squeaks a little when a possessed body pops up out of nowhere.

“Y/N!”

I roll my eyes and I wrap an arm around him.

“Calm down. He’s not gonna hurt you, big baby. Keep going. You need to drain her blood.”

He focuses for another 20 minutes or so, cringing every now and then at the detailed graphics of the body.

“Y/N… did you see that? There’s something outside. You saw that, right?”

I shake my head, holding back a laugh.

“I think it’s just a figment of your imagination.”

He glares at me and moves on to the next body.

“Okay it’s too peaceful right now and it’s too suspicious. I don’t like this. Wait no- things look nuts and the phone is ringing. I’m not supposed to trust the phone-.”

I look at the screen and narrow in, trying to see clearly.

“Is that what I think it is?”

A body appears to be floating in the flooded kitchen, and it’s body starts to rise.

“ You did this to me. This is all your fault-.”

The body jumps out of nowhere and the room goes red and dark, Harry jumping in his seat.

“Jesus fuck! I hate this game, Y/N! Hate it!”

I let out a snort and shake my head.

“H, are you waving a white flag?”

Harry lightly drops his head onto the desk before he sits up.

“Yes. Please for the love of god. I’m about to lose it.”

I laugh again and shake my head as he gets up from his chair and climbs on top of me, his back to the camera as he hugs me tight.

“You owe me for this, love. A romcom marathon. Tomorrow.”

I laugh and pat his back before he gets up again, sitting back in his chair. I take over playing, Harry jumping in his seat every now and then until I find a good place to stop.

“Okay lovelies! So this was- interesting. Harry? Did you like the game?”

He glares at me and shakes his head.

“You’ve done me dirty, Y/N.”

I shrug and smile.

“Thanks for watching guys! Since this one is home from tour, he’s gonna be playing with me more! Stay tuned for our next game; Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach: Ruin!”

“Y/N! No more horror games! No.”

“Oh Harry, calm down. FNAF is literally for babies. Just jump scares and robots.”

“I don’t like these games!”

Robin flops on his bed, asking him to play Call Me by Blondie; something she’s done quite a lot over the last week. Steve doesn’t mind, he likes Blondie too.

He lays down beside her, something he does every day, he thinks. There’s no sense of time anymore. Ever since the earth briefly stopped spinning on its axis when Eddie died, time hasn’t been the same.

Denial set in strong in his first moments without Eddie and Max. Max is still in hospital so she can’t actually be dead. She kept him grounded, Eddie was his rock. But now that rock rolls amongst a sea of weathered pebbles, sailing away into the afterlife.

Every time he picks up their pieces, they slip through his fingers. He can’t keep a hold of them, but he has to let them go no matter how hard he tries to keep them close.

It’s only when he’s shaking in Robin’s arms that he stops crying.

Birdsong, rainfall and Debbie Harry’s singing lull him to sleep; the first time he’s slept in who knows how long. But not before he lets Robin know she’s the most important person in his life and he loves her.

He dreams of love, laughter and Eddie and Max bickering... Although even in his dreams he knows that can’t be reality anymore.

He wakes with a sinking feeling inside; one he’s grown to resent, and yet… he’s used to it. Used to waking up and finding out that Vecna has taken another friend’s soul away. He’s used to finding another piece of himself missing.

He’s almost grown numb to the feeling, but it still hits him like a truck. Not a slap, but a full on wipe-out. He looks to find Robin sound asleep, but something’s not right.

“Robin?” His hands tremble as he shakes her by the shoulders; something he’d usually get shouted at for, but she doesn’t respond. “Robin, wake up.”

It’s only now the headphones stand out, connected to the walkman resting on the floor beside her. Steve whimpers as he picks it up, and tears flood his vision.

As she takes her last breath, the hole in Steve’s chest where his heart once beat expands until he’s nothing but the shell of the man he used to be. He has nothing; his kid is gone, his soulmate is gone. That adorable weirdo he fell for is gone.

Steve’s gone.

Democrats stuck with Biden because they thought she was even weaker. Has that changed?

The only real question for the 90 days remaining in this presidential campaign: Can Operation Transfiguration succeed?

Can the Democrats and a collaborative media pull off their recasting of Vice President Kamala Harris from the verbally maladroit, politically inept, ruinous-policy-espousing electoral dud we have all seen over the past five years into the holy trinity of Joan of Arc, Harriet Tubman and Margaret Thatcher we have been presented with in the past two weeks?

Can, shall we say, the protective phalanx of Democratic aides, strategists, fundraisers, reporters, editors, influencers and Taylor Swift persuade enough voters to imagine a presidential future of what can be, unburdened by the reality of the vice president, presidential candidate, senator and state attorney general that has been?

Time—or the lack of it—is the key to the operation’s success. I say 90 days but in practice they will need to keep the hype show on the road for just two months after an August of jubilees.

This week the hosannas will ring anew when Ms. Harris announces her vice-presidential nominee. It’s a sure bet that when the man is unveiled we will be treated to a week of gauzy newspaper accounts of his genius and kindliness. Television pundits will explain how the pair on the ticket represent the perfect distillation of American diversity. They will take their campaign on the road, Ms. Harris never more than a few feet away from her truly indispensable companion, the teleprompter, and a much safer distance from any enterprising reporter who may ask a difficult question.

Then we will have a week of a Democratic convention like no other. It will open with Biden Night (only one), when the withered man the party has just knifed will be hoisted aloft before adoring delegates and media panegyrists and hailed as Mount Rushmore-ready. Then, three nights of tributes to the Pantsuit Pericles bidding to run the country for the next four years, culminating in a peroration that will leave White House correspondents weeping.

Operation Transfiguration may be the most audacious plan a political party has ever undertaken. It requires the effective deployment of the full toolkit of press and social media deception: selective editorial amnesia, gaslighting, memory-holing. The whole campaign is the political and media equivalent of answering every question voters may have about the pre-July 21 Ms. Harris with “404 Error Page Not Found.”

If you think I’m overstating the extent to which Ms. Harris is being reclothed, cast your mind back oh so many weeks ago, before President Biden self-immolated at the presidential debate, before a would-be assassin nearly took down Donald Trump, before Mr. Biden was bundled out of the race—to late June, a political epoch away, when polling, punditry and political logic all told us the same thing: Ms. Harris was a loser. Her approval rating had been hovering lower even than Mr. Biden’s for most of the past few years. Many Democrats were saying privately—and some publicly—that if Mr. Biden were jettisoned from the ticket, there should be an accelerated primary contest because they couldn’t risk letting the vice president simply ascend to the job.

We are all familiar with why that was: memories of Ms. Harris’s political identity as the most liberal member of a Senate that included Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren; a presidential campaign five years ago in which she pledged to eliminate private health insurance, ban fracking, give benefits to illegal immigrants, and force gun owners to sell certain firearms to the government; more recent recollections of her San Francisco-bred extremism such as when she helped raise money for the legal defense of rioters and looters in the summer of 2020; and her role in helping Mr. Biden deliver a long list of economic, social and national-security failures for the country—most obviously at the border.

All this is why so many Democrats were alarmed at the thought of a Harris nomination, the same nomination they now trumpet as triumphant.

Only two things can derail Operation Transfiguration: The first is a focused, disciplined and relentless Republican campaign that raises the debate above the vacuity of social-media memes and reminds voters that the Democratic candidate is the same person—and her party is the same party—that she was two weeks ago. If the election is decided on the issues, on voters’ perceptions of the state of the country, Ms. Harris is surely in as much trouble as Mr. Biden was. If the campaign is dominated by pointless assertions about Ms. Harris’s racial identity or her maternal status or all the other entertaining little diversions Mr. Trump likes to indulge, she may get away with skating past the realities of her past.

The other is the media. Are they really going to guide this campaign gently across the finish line? Is there anyone left beyond hostile outlets with a modicum of journalist dignity who is prepared to ask serious questions, do serious reporting, demand a press conference or two? Or are they all intent on doing what they nearly got away with doing for Mr. Biden the last few years and cover for someone evidently incapable of holding office?

Sooo um please go and read "404" (404harry has me in a chokehold, you don't understand!) and "iFall for Harry" by the queen @freedomfireflies and it will be the best decision you will ever make. Everything she writes is pure gold 🥰 but I'm saying these two because it's my most recent obsession from her work.

And also "The Good Boy" and "Just For Tonight" are amazing (by @gurugirl). I had a great time reading them! 😍 She is so talented and she also has many great stories to read! I'm also referring to those two only in this ask because they are the most recent stories that I read from hers.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

Currently, 187, but I'm probably going to add like 10 more by the end of the month - most of these are Prongsfoot Microfics.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

729, 900 words. Well, damn. That's a lot of words. For it's for basically the last two years of writing on AO3.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently on AO3, HP and Ghosts CBS, but I have some writing in word docs for other fandoms if i ever finish them (like Once, Charmed, PLL, CM, ect).

4. Top 5 fics by kudos?

Take Care of Me (655)- Sirius/Harry One shot for Sirry stockings in 2021. Sugar Daddy Fic.

Companionship (570) - Sirius/Harry longfic where Sirius gets out of the country before Harry's fifth year and they meet again when Harry's an escort 9 years later, not realizing their identities, fall in love.

Return From the Veil (533) - Sirius/Harry Ongoing fic where Sirius comes back out of the veil minutes after dying de-aged to sixteen and they bond and finish the war together. I actually need to update this one.

Path to Recovery (404)- Sirius/Harry After the war, Harry raises Teddy in the muggle world and he truly begins his path to recovery when Sirius returns from the veil ten years later.

Soulmates (307) - Sirius/Harry Soulmate AU One Shot for Sirry stockings in 2021.

LOL - Over 100 fics for Prongsfoot (of my 187) and ALL 5 are Sirry. It's probably because they've been up longer, but that's too funny. Although number 6 is Rebuilding :) Which is Prongsfoot.

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes, as long as they aren't hate, I make a point to say thank you or engage with questions or discussions.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh god. I'm not sure - I like Happy Endings, but I would say either -

72 Cemetery - Sirius/James with James having died and Sirius trying to say goodbye to the tune of "Give Heaven Some Hell" since that whole being at a cemetery saying goodbye to the love of your life is angsty as hell.

A Dream Come True - Trevor focused Ghosts AU. Based on discussions and comments, while I thought it ended on a positive - they have futures again - vibe, the idea that the ghosts would go their separate ways because they are alive again was angsty rather than happy. I maintain that the ghosts gaining their freedom and a second chance to chase dreams as a happy ending.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Well, all of my fics have happy endings. But, the happiest?

Rebuilding - Sirius/James - it was the first of a series, but the ending with them getting together and a hopeful future (which is seen in the next pieces of the series) feels the most happy to me.

The Gentlemen's Club - Trevor/Hetty - this one had a very fun time for them as they got to travel and the ending leads to the chance for more traveling and coming out to the house, which feels happy and hopeful to me.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have - I usually complain to my friends on Discord and delate the comment. I always say "If you LIKE it, please let me know" - I absolutely do not understand who hates on what fic writers do in their free time for no money. And I wish those people would stop - although it doesn't happen often, it can truly kill motivation and it makes me want to hit something.

9. Do you write smut?

Yes. I have entire fics that are just smut - not even just one-shots! I am still writing Peaceful Life which is a Sirius/Harry smut fic and I have started a fic entitled "Trevor's Horny Jail" that will pretty much be all smut.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I have written one Different Magic, Sam Found Family- it was for HJP week this year - HP/Once and I intend to write a couple of other HP/Once fics. I love Emma and I think her and Harry would be great together given their similarities.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

God, I hope not.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Someone has asked, but I don't know if they ever did.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I want to co-write a 'Read the Books' story with someone on discord, but we haven't talked about it in a while.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Oh, god. There's so many ships in the world, but I guess I'd have to go with Sirius/James - Prongsfoot. I mean, I have written (IN THE LAST YEAR, ALONE) over 100 fics for them and intend to catch up on ALL of the microfics prompts, write those longer fic ideas, and join in on Prongsfoot Bingo so...

I mean, seems obvious that they must be my favorite, I think.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

Probably that PLL rewrite. Damn it, I had to stop thinking about it and fixate on something else because It's just so hard to balance having six mains - the storylines that were good (and I wanted to keep) and make sure I don't give any plotholes. SPECIALLY with the hell that is never-ending November and fixing that. I still want to write it, but I don't have anyone to talk about it with so it's easy to let it fall into the abyss. Especially I haven't started posting it.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I love a good timeline. Like if you read my fics, you will always be able to follow the timeline and not get confused.

Additionally, I think I'm pretty good at writing emotionally charged scenes with comfort at the end. Mainly the comfort.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I'm obsessed with timelines - so it can easily screw me up if I got lost in - wait, what day is it? Did that already happen? And having to reread and confirm one way of another and then totally fall off track.

I also tend to be too wordy. I focus so much on gushing happiness that I pepper in probably too much fluff that isn't really needed.

In RFTV, we're 14 chapters in and we're only just now getting to the end of the summer and it's been like 72K. Because I like the bond and building that, but I probably put too much bonding in there - and hot damn, man that's a lot of words.

Additionally, sometimes I lose the plot in the fluff. And forget that it isn't just fluff.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

Oh, uh, I don't do it unless it's something easy like Ciao - everyone knows Ciao or Hola - to me, I would only do it if it's obvious what the word is without knowing the language. If I have to look it up (writing or reading) I'll just get annoyed.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

H2O just add water. I've got 2 fics on FFN.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Oh, god. I don't think I could pick just one, but currently - Probably Mirror Talks - it started off as a one-shot for Sirius and Harry Saturday on Tumblr and it literally spiraled into basically Sirius raising Harry fifth year and beyond semi-canon compliant re-write of books 5, 6 and 7. I get to hash out my issues with those books and I get my favorite genre of story - Sirius raising Harry (no wolf star).
