Imma post two things today First one is related to the ISAT zombie au that is purely art I forgot to put here

Mostly on how Loop would react to actually NEED to kill siffrin come the case they can't do anything (And the au itself becomes something more "down to earth" with no craft- So consider it a branch because I've been back to playing Project Zomboid!) else in order to stop it.

And also just how I see Loop's relationship with "giving up" on anything after the one time they do said thing it leading to losing their entire family, life and being. How bitter must it be to lose everything once- somehow get it back only to lose it again?

Its so them focused because I haven't been really sketching them (the family) these past days because I was locked in on what I'll post next

(Anyway coming back) I think most of their breakdowns come with how little time they have now to find a cure and how the entire group is (probably, by now) also falling apart.

I could go the Z nation route (which would be funny probably) and make Siffrin like Murphy and make them immune in silly ways or whatever else but I haven't been thinking much about that "cure" part of it and just basing a lot of it on my Zomboid gameplays now, teehee. Which just means everything is sad, there's a moment of hope and then we all crash our car and die 8 times more due to how much we are still laughing due to said car crash/lhj

Snow’s wackadoo behavior during that (un-fucking-hinged) conversation that he has when he corners Haymitch has me thinking: that type of men are all SO LITTLE.

My notes on that first post are full of how Snow is such a creepy old man, how he’s beefing with teens, how he’s so pathetic for projecting his shit onto other people, how he was too dumb or traumatized to understand that Lucy Gray DID love him, and how he STILL somehow thinks he is the main character, despite the fact that most of the districts don’t venerate him AT ALL.

Dictators who rule using violence and hatred, at the end of the day ARE pathetic. They’re basing their world-shaping decisions on whims and petty feuds and the racist bs that they eat up like candy, and they ARE hung up on old, stupid shit that happened because of their own stupidity. They behave erratically and then IMMEDIATELY pretend that it was on purpose, all part of their grand plan, can’t you see?

and i NEED you to understand that Collins put that scene in there on purpose. Snow is not the cute kind of cringefail.

He is pathetic. He is weak. His decisions aren’t logical or smart, they’re completely biased and seeded with misinterpretations of what happened to him in the past. EVERYTHING he does is to make his own image of power stronger because at the end of the day, he IS just weak and pathetic.

He can trust no one. He views EVERYONE as lesser than him, and yet, at the end of the day, he IS just a deplorable, unloved, racist, hateful wretched man, and who we KNOW FOR A FACT will be remembered as such.

Collins wants you to know this as you look at some of the men in charge today.

DO NOT LET THEM TRICK YOU! They are NOT eternal. They are NOT inevitable. They are NOT STRONGER THAN THE COMMUNITIES WE BUILD AND THE CAUSES WE FIGHT FOR!!!!!!!

They are small, weak, and pathetic in the face of all of our love and community, and someday, the world will look back and remember them as such.

Stumbled across this DTIYS and decided to give it a go, with some creative liberties obviously.

It was really fun, ive never drawn in the undertale battle style before so i was surprised at how easy it felt, granted it still took a little while but nowhere near as long as i expected.

So, uhh, yeah. Papyrus is cool, challenge was fun, hope you enjoy.

sometimes being aspec feels alienating, not because of social elements or whatever but purely because i want to write a short oneshot about attraction (for transformers) and i genuinely cannot relate to what im writing.

99% of it is just what ive absorbed socially instead of through experienced, and its such a funny experience because im not even hung up on the potential alien vectors of attraction, its the human ones.

Very interesting that despite the presence of Pluton and 3 other top 10s, the core dialogue and mutual concern for each other revolves around these 2 only

Kartein's thoughts are always in the forefront when it comes to Kayden; both during and post the fight. Interestingly, Kartein is the only one Kayden visibly shows concern for right now, despite Pluton and him being equally at a disadvantage against top 10s

I wonder if I'm reading too much into it, but even so, NOTHING about these two is straight😭

Mario may be stupid but he does have moments and i want to see more mario appreciation when he does stuff like this

this chapter made me so emo about Keiichi. I still don't really get what his deal is but for him to start out as a bully and a petty rival, and then this??

boy loves his hometown so much that he literally has no greater ambition than to live and die in it. meanwhile his brother has his sights on the NHL; Rou is aiming for the Olympics. is it heartwarming that Keiichi treasures his home so much that he can't see anything beyond it, or sad that he has hundreds of photos of the same factory smokestack that he's already planning to die staring at??

I don't know. but Noda could have easily made Keiichi the hotshot rival who thinks he deserves the best in the world, but instead he made Keiichi a big fish dreaming only of his small pond.

i've been rewatching criminal minds and paying more attention to little details, characters and background things instead of the actual plot of any episode.

and so i've been thinking about reid's addiction and i noticed a little parallel between elle and spencer (their friendship was amazing btw i miss them)

remember how elle got shot, and was coping poorly with it? in season 2 episode 05 "the aftermath" reid goes into her hotel room, they drink and he tells her "elle, he's dead. you're right here. you won." and she smiles and says "then here's to winning." but then at the end of the episode she kills that guy in cold blood ends up leaving the BAU. so she didn't win, did she?

and that goes really well with hankel, too. spencer killed him, he's dead. so he won, right? but he got an addiction because of tobias. spencer never would've become addicted to dilaudid if it weren't for the fact that tobias was. he could've lost his job, his apartment, his life. he was shown craving the drugs even after he got himself clean. reid's manifestation of foyet calls him addict in the last episode he's in (15X10) so that means the addiction is something he will carry all his life. and remember how he thought about taking the drugs again after emily's "death"?

BSD Locations- Yokohama Visit 2024 - Part 5

The final part of the Yokohama Pilgrimage!

24. Harbor View Park (S1EP9)

It's so close to France Yama. It was really windy and a pleasant area to relax after a long day. You can see a wonderful view of the entire city from here!! The sun was setting around the time I visited so it was kind of perfect :')

25. Harbor View Police Station (S1EP9)

Only a few minutes from the Harbor View Park. It so happens that a black car also passed by as I was taking a picture, such a great coincidence XD

26. Motomachi Park Telephone Booth

A nice old-fashioned telephone booth!! I'm not sure it is still operating though...There were some beautiful western styled architectural buildings on the way here.

It was getting so dark at this point that I was worried I wouldn't be able to find this telephone booth, but thankfully I did! (It was only like 16:45 or something 😭)

27. Motomachi Park (S3EP26)

The park featured in the 15!anime adaptation. Honestly this place was kinda difficult to find (i think I literally passed by a cemetery??). It was so deserted and I'm the kind of person who gets spooked when alone and loses sense of direction when it starts getting dark lmao. I tried to match the angle of the anime but the design of the park was slightly different.

How was Dazai even jumping over that pillar thing? It was so big, it would take a lot of effort to climb on top of one, much less jump from one pillar to another 😭

When I was leaving the park, I saw a cute kitty too!! Somehow, I felt like my trip was really complete lol. I really wish I had some cat food (I want more cat friends!!!! 😭)

28. The Sky Garden Yokohama Landmark Tower (OP2)

The final place on my list and one I was dying with excitement to visit!! S2 opening is so iconic and my favourite BSD opening, so I tried to search for a building with the same view hahaha. The ticket costs 1,000 yen, but I got it for 900 yen by booking in advance on Klook! The view was absolutely stunning!!!! I would definitely recommend coming here for the night view! 💕

The Cosmos Clock 21 changes colors every 15 minutes and it's so pretty!! They have a cafe and they have some books too! You can just sit and relax while gazing out towards the beautiful Yokohama timeline! :)

Speaking of which, they even had the BSD Anthology collection in a section labelled, "Books based on Yokohama" XD

I picked a random one and there was a chapter in which Kunikida was sick? I'm not sure if the anthology series is being translated anywhere but I sure as hell do not remember any chapter like this?? There was even one where Fukuzawa was feeding cats or something and I'm so intrigued, I will consider getting a copy if I ever find it in stores.

It seems that they have days when they plan fireworks at the Yokohama harbor. I saw it on a free pamphlet i collected from the subway station. It's called Yokohama Sparkling Twilight!! I've added the link for any of your fanfic requirements lol. Imagine how cool it would be to see the fireworks from here thoo!? 😩💖

Yokohama Museum of Art was the last place on my list. It's actually located close to the Landmark tower, but it was getting really cold and my legs were killing me so I had to call it a day lol :')

Final Thoughts

Looking back now, I find it crazy to think I planned to visit all these places on foot in one single day (and managed to pull it off???) If I had started a little bit earlier, I suppose I could have squeezed in a few more places, because it gets dark so quickly in winter, but the exhaustion would have got me before that hahaha. I think I walked 30,000 steps that day, the most I have ever walked in my life ig 😂 But it was totally worth it!! I felt so happy to see all the places featured in the anime, and it's just amazing how much work the anime team put into the smallest details. It's just so wholesome and fun to connect the places to the anime versions.

I think it would be better to do such a pilgrimage in summer instead. The BSD anime page on twitter had also made some posts about some of the locations, which i forgot to share. I'll add them to part 1, to the other references I listed.

I'm not sure if it's because I love the series so much, that made me romanticize the place a bit, but Yokohama really was such a lovely place. It was such a charming and peaceful city and when I walked around the harbour I found myself thinking how I wouldn't mind living here hahaha. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I would like to relax a bit, without having to worry about moving along to the next destination XD

I'll preface with this -

If I ever am very vague about Ear Piercer's dislike of the media especially around younger heroes (and the unfortunate ones that may lose their lives young) think about two things:

Remember how Aizawa didn't want the kids to get bombarded with interviews after the final war when they got requests?

Remember also how Aizawa and Ear Piercer (when he was Present Mic of course) were teens who were involved in a tragedy that resulted in media coverage and interviews?

It only takes one too many questions and too many times prying for someone to break. For someone to completely snap and suddenly go MIA. To make a scene.

Even when you think it's over, when you think nothing bothers you, something can and WILL snap.

Holy shit, I found my snake on a cup!! Pink baby, just like mine!! It's so cute, so I had to get it!! Snakes are so freaking cute!! It's so rare to find snake things outside of October, and especially rare to find cute snakes! Happy early Lunar New Year (on January 29).
