COD x shy!wife thots closed! Thank you, everyone, for your time & amazing minds! I sincerely hope I can do this again with y'all soon! 💌
Come & check out my COD m.list!
“You're so cute!”
You were at it again.
“You're a good boy,” Smooch smooch, “Yes, you are,” Smooch, “Our best boy,” Smooch, “The most distinguished gentleman in the world.”
On most days, he would find it adorable. Seeing you bond with his fluffy pal despite the less-than-pleasant assumptions many have of the breed. But with the recent deployment lasting longer than usual, resulting in his return just yesterday, he was practically dying to have your attention.
But it seemed like Great Dane had the same plan, even though he got to spend time with you all the time.
You had a knack of nuzzling Hernando’s fur, especially his stomach area, on days where you found him extremely irresistible (which was always, to be honest). The pooch barely minded the lipstick stains you would sometimes leave on his silky fur, only caring about your attention more than anything.
But sometimes, Alejandro thinks he was also acting cute for you just to spite him.
He revealed himself from behind the wall, smoothing out the front of his shirt as if he had just come down from upstairs. Hernando laid on his back, enjoying your unlimited belly rubs and head smooches.
Though he and Hernando pretty much were fighting for even an ounce of you, he'd be lying if he said seeing you, sweet little you, taming a giant beast with little to no problem.
Be it a Great Dane, who turns into a baby when you're around or a muscular colonel, who worships his beloved like his life depends on it.
“Oh, Ale,” You smiled, small and shy, slightly embarrassed at the thought of him overhearing you baby-talking yet again, “Ready to head out?”
“Si,” He grinned, reaching for your hand for a sweet kiss before whispering against your temple, “You look beautiful as always, mi amor.”
It should've been too early to feel the burn in your face. Hell, you should've expected it, especially when he has never missed a day to compliment you.
“Thank you,” You looked down for a moment, biting down the giddy smile before meeting his eyes, “You look very handsome.”
“For you, amor, it would be a crime not to look my best.” He replied with zero hesitation, even puffing up his chest at your praise. He tried not to let his gaze linger, but oh, how impossible it was not to appreciate how your curves looked in your dress.
“Come,” He offered to hold the leash, partially to monopolize your attention as you walked, but just as you tried passing it to him, Hernando huffed. He sat on the floor as soon as it was in Alejandro's hand, seemingly persistent about not wanting to move when he was barking at the door just moments ago. He grumbled under his breath, knowing what the canine was trying to do, “Ay, dios mio.”
He should've seen it coming.
The deadpan on his face softened as he heard you giggle, hiding your amusement behind your hand.
“It's okay, he's probably just grumpy that we're late.” You were supposed to take him to the park nearly half an hour ago if it weren't for Alejandro's sudden need to trap you against the wall for kisses when he saw you exited the bathroom in just a towel.
And just as he suspected, Hernando jumped to his paws the moment Alejandro returned the leash in your hands.
Typical.
Still, Alejandro was able to wrap his arm around you without his pal protesting, and he took advantage of it like no other.
If one thought getting mauled by a giant dog for making a lady uncomfortable was already scary, they'd have to think again.
Now, they'd have to worry about the same dog and his tall, dark and handsome… and intimidating owner.
But each time Alejandro managed to steal your attention for a few seconds longer, Hernando tugged at the leash. Not to the point of hurting you from the suddenness or worse, causing you to fall, but enough for the man to realize the little game he was playing at.
But for just a moment, Hernando seemed distracted by the birds near the pond.
You noticed, and Alejandro most certainly did, and to his gratefulness, you unhooked the leash from his collar. Patting his head, you said, “Go on, buddy.”
Given the green light, he immediately zoomed towards the flock, his enormous size would scare the living shit out of a grown man, let alone some pigeons.
You were about to ask Alejandro what the two of you should do while Hernando was going crazy on his own, he took you by surprise when he wrapped his arms around you before dipping you just a little. A stark resemblance to a cheesy scene in a romantic drama.
The first thing you thought of doing as he embraced you was to cover your face with your hands. You were growing hot at the thought of the people, who were just trying to enjoy nature, seeing the passion your boyfriend was exhibiting in public.
The softness in the way he spoke your name, despite his deep, gruff voice prompted you to pull your hands, away, albeit slowly. His eyes held adoration, and just a hint of jealousy, you realized. Whether or not he was concealing the rest of his enviousness was unknown, but his stare was… intense, to say the least.
With one arm around you and the other holding your hand, he leaned in and almost immediately, you closed your eyes, anticipating his lips on yours despite the possibility of being watched.
But the kiss never came. Not fully. You could feel his lips but it was nothing more than a feathery touch.
“Kiss me,” He whispered, “Kiss me, and I shall show you how much I yearn for you always.”
Letting out a shaky sigh, you shyly closed the distance, only to gasp when he returned the kiss feverishly. Like a man starved, he held you against him like a lifeline as he shamelessly groaned in the kiss.
But just as the passion clouded your mind, just as Alejandro was hoping to feel his lips against yours, you heard a bark.
And to your horror, Hernando was running towards the two of you at maximum speed.
Alejandro didn't waste any time, holding you to his chest while his back faced the Great Dane. Hernando body side-slammed into him, eliciting a grunt from Alejandro, followed by your squeal as your bodies tipped.
Alejandro was quick to turn amid the fall, being the first to hit the grass while he became your cushion.
You face planted into his chest, but it beats facing the same fate on the ground instead.
“Amor? Amor, are you okay?” He may have bore the brunt of it, but that didn't mean his worries were dispelled just yet.
You could've gotten seriously hurt!
Hernando had left the crime scene at this point, opting to play with the other dogs in the area, but Alejandro liked to think his buddy knew he was in trouble.
“I'm okay…” You raised your head with a tiny ‘ow’, only to begin fretting about falling on him. Thankfully, he laughed, a hearty one, the kind that you couldn't resist smiling at.
“I'm fine, don't worry,” Alejandro turned his head to the right, prompting you to follow his line of gaze. Hernando was having fun with a Pug and even an orange cat. One wouldn't have guessed he was the culprit of you and Alejandro's current state, “I guess he really is mad about us being late.”
You traced your fingers along his chest, “That's your fault.”
“Oh? I don't think you were very innocent either.” He teased back, not bothering to move his hands that were resting on your back, “But can you blame me? I can't let ‘Nando take up all of your attention, now that I'm back.”
“He's just feeling playful, now that you're back.”
“More like a pain in the ass,” He mumbled, only to let out a painless ‘oof’ when you smacked his chest with an ‘Ale!’. He grinned, showing off his pearly whites as a way to say he was not sorry before gripping you tighter for a bear hug, “Come here!”
He paid your squeaks and whines no mind, just content to be the one kissing you and making you laugh at that moment.
And though he'd have a little word with Hernando about nearly getting you hurt, he'd also like to say one thing.
“Thanks, hermano.”

“Colonel.”
“Doctor.”
“Have a drink with me?” He offered. “Nothing too strong, I promise.”
“Getting used to life here?”
“Slowly, I love the people here. I can see why you and Rudy and the rest of the Los Vaqueros are fighting to protect this place.” You slowly took a sip of the liqueur, cocking your eyebrow as the hot burning sensation slowly slid down your throat. Alejandro chuckled at your expression.
“I thought you are used to strong alcohol with whisky.”
You rolled your eyes. “It’s not that strong for me. I just… wasn’t expecting it. Since you said it’s nothing strong.”
“Sorry.”
Footsteps and quiet chatting noises come and go outside his office as the two of you sip on the drink, in silence.
“Thank you for your drink. I better get back to my report.” You drain the last bit of the alcohol, before standing up and taking your leave. “Doctor.”
“Mmm?” “Have a drink with me.. Every night?”
You paused. “Only because you're cute.”
He laughed.
Tumblr media
“Doctor.” “Mmm? What is it? Colonel.” “Do you trust me?” “Of course.” you mumbled.  “Then sleep.” “Why?”
“You look like you are about to drop onto the floor. Come on.” He opened his arm, pulling you into his lap.
The whole room soon filled with your light snoring sound.

“Doctor.”
“Mmm.”
“Have a drink with me.. Every night?”
“Or the rest of your life?” You smiled.
“I thought we already established that.”
You chuckled. “ You assume so.”
He cock his eyebrow. “I thought what I said to you last night was enough.”
“Maybe, maybe not.” You teased.
Tumblr media
“Colonel.”
“Mmm?”
“You should be more careful.” you sighed as you finished off the bandaging.
“I know.” “The baby won’t be happy to know their Papa is coming home with another scar.”
“Sorry…”
“....”
“Papa?”
Tumblr media
“Colonel.”
“Mmm.”
“Sleep.” You whispered.
“I can’t.” “You earned it. You've done enough. Time to rest.”
“ But…” you shushed him.
“Cariño. Rudy and the team will take care of the rest. You got nothing to worry about. Trust them.”
Tumblr media
“Mi vida.”

“Te amo.” “Love you too Ale. Love you too.”

I saw a post about who would likely be into phone sex right and hear me out: Alejandro.
Please do all sumthin sumthin with Alejandro x F!reader Queen.
What phone sex with Alejandro Thee Stallion is like:
He calls, voice huskier than usual, and asks where you're at and what you're doing. He misses his queen.
Oh, you miss him, too? Prove it to him, then. Let him hear how much you miss him.
Probably one of the few instances where he's "off" when he's away. Around you, he can be Ale and/or Alejo. Won't touch himself but will recline back in his chair and kick his feet up (figuratively? literally? Who knows. 👀). Oh yes, it's about to be a hell of a show.
Commanding through and through. Dictates how you fuck yourself for him. Will actually have you edging yourself.
Wants you loud. You will be screaming, both in frustration and pleasure.
Oh, you're close? Stop. Right now. Take a breather, let the coil loosen. Mmm. That's it, babygirl. You good, mami? Good. Now start again.
Makes you beg for his dick. Makes you tell him you miss it, that you miss him. Makes you say his name. ("Oh, Alejo. Baby—Baby, I... mmf—'m close. Love you. Love you always.")
You can't cum until he tells you to. And he will know if you do. He's memorized your moans; they live rent-free in his fucking head.
Alejandro praises you for how good you are, how wonderful you've been to him, how you make him a better man; he praises you—no, he fucking worships you. Can't wait to get home and bury himself deep inside you.
He'll tell you to cum. Will tell you he loves you, too, as you cum. He loves you, mami. Loves you so fucking much it's crazy.
Talks you down, doubly so if that orgasm was intense. Tells you how proud he is of you and how beautiful you sounded. Alejandro wishes he was there to kiss and caress you as he'd usually do after you cum.
And when he sends you off, he tells you that you can't touch yourself until he gets home. What you did over the phone, he needs to see it for himself.
You'll find out later that you made him come in his pants and he didn't even touch himself.

Heart-stopping
Alejandro Vargas x f!reader
Warnings: tiny bit of angst, mention of violence, description of injuries, otherwise pure fluff, pregnancy announcement, crack?
Summary: Only Alejandro can kill Alejandro. You may easily give him a heart attack, though.
On AO3
A/N: Sorry, this is not my triumphant comeback. I had to get this out of my system so I can continue my work. I hope to be able to write more soon though!
~•~•~•~•~•~
Only Alejandro can kill Alejandro.
The proverb was often repeated among his peers and subordinates with a mix of awe and reverence, and by his rivals and enemies with spiteful resignation.
You, however, repeated it as a mantra - or a prayer? - in your head whenever his chest rose and fell with every breath. Just like you had for a week now.
Just an hour earlier, the nurse had come with orders from the doctor to pull him off the meds keeping him asleep, and you anxiously wrung your hands together, waiting for any signal of your beloved Alejandro awakening.
When he finally shifted and gave signals of waking up, you released a shaky breath you weren't even aware of holding. His name fell from your lips in a whisper, and his eyes flew open as if a spell had been broken at the sound.
As soon as his eyes found yours, his lips flickered a smile, revealing the dimples that created ripples on his cheeks like the ocean.
"Buenos días, mi amor," he breathed out, his voice rugged and raspy from a combination of sleep and a dry throat.
"Es medianoche, pendejo," you offered him a wide grin, carefully approaching him and cupping his face, pressing your lips to his with the urgency that it warranted.
After the longest week of your life, your lover was finally awake.
A few seconds later, you pulled away and inwardly celebrated the little dispeased noise he made when trying to chase your lips. You offered him a glass of water instead, and he accepted it silently, taking slow sips until his parched throat didn't resemble a desert anymore.
Once he was satisfied, you took the glass back and cupped his face, your fingers stroking the growing stubble and brushing against the bandage covering his head.
"Are you hurting anywhere?" Your voice was quiet as you studied him carefully, looking for any hint of pain.
"I feel pretty numb all over," he groaned, nuzzling your hand like a sleepy cat, "I'm mostly confused as to why I'm here."
Your brows furrowed as you remembered the doctor had warned you about amnesia, and took you a few moments to finally gather your words.
"We were under heavy fire from the cartel while crossing the bridge," your hand slowly moved from his face to his chest, feeling the bandages under the hospital gown, "they got you between your chest plates, and the impact made you lose your balance."
You paused to take in a deep breath, trying to keep the tears at bay while you relived those memories. He watched you closely, his smile slowly falling at the signs of your distress.
"Oviedo jumped after you into the river, but you hit your head at the bottom real hard," you watched as his brows tightened and his fingers enveloped your wrist and his thumb traced your pulse, a silent apology of sorts. But Alejandro rarely ever apologized - or did anything else - silently.
"Lo siento mucho, mi amor," he offered, his heart breaking a little at the sight of the unshed tears pooling in your eyes, "I've made you worry for me again, didn't I?"
A sharp snort left you as you used your free hand to wipe the tears away. "I was worried sick, Alejo, and everyone else too," you briefly thought of Rudy, now in charge of the Vaqueros for the time being, and them too, who often texted you and called you for updates. "You were put in a coma for a week because your brain swelled up."
His eyes widened at the information, his fingers tightening around your wrist slightly. "Verga... That does sound pretty bad..."
You took a deep breathe in to compose yourself, and nodded as you leaned down to press your forehead to his bandaged head, enjoying the gentle warmth sipping from beneath them. "Doctor said you'll be out of commission for a while, until he's sure there's no lasting damage."
Alejandro suppressed a groan and a complaint at the news. He was a soldier commited to his cause, but he was also a realistic man. If he was in no shape to guide his men, he wouldn't dare put them in unnecessary danger. The quickest way to return to his duties would be to heal.
Only Alejandro can kill Alejandro.
The toughest man in the army.
Still, very much a man that can be brought down by bullets one day.
"What about you, mi amor?" He questioned you as he tenerly brushed your cheek with his fingers, eager to focus on something else. He noted the bags under your eyes, and let his eyes wander over your form. "Are you hurt anywhere?"
You kept in silence for a few seconds as you stared into his eyes, but moved to bury your face in his neck instead, immediately raising all the alarms in his mind. "... I'll be out of commission for a while, too."
His hand moved from your cheek to the back of your head, slowly stroking your scalp, "what happened, mi vida? Did they get you too?"
You enjoyed his touch with a secret smile in your lips. Even after all he endured, he cared so much about your well-being that it made your heart swell. It also made you feel just a tiny bit bad about what -or rather the way - you were going to tell him. But you wanted revenge for all those sleepless nights spent worried sick over him "...you did."
Alejandro blinked once before forcing your head off his shoulder so he could look straight at your face. His eyes searched yours in a raising panic as he registered your words.
He had no memory of the incident itself. Had you been close to him when he was shot? Had he hit you in the confusion after getting hit himself? He would never live it down. Even taking into account that in both your careers injuries were common place, he would never forgive himself if he had been the direct cause of any injury on you.
The warning bell from the machine registering his palpitations went off, signaling a worringly increase in his heartbeat, causing you to shake yourself from your trance to look at it.
Oh.
Oops.
"Alejo, tranquilo," you offered him an apologetic smile, laying your hand flat on his chest and rubbing it, "I'm sorry, I was just joking - kinda."
He blinked at you in confusion, his brows furrowing deeply as he looked at you as if you were insane.
"Esos chistes no son graciosos, amor," he scolded you, and you leaned in to kiss him sorry, but he pulled away with a petulant pout, "casi me da un infarto. I didn't know you were the kind of woman to make that kind of jokes."
You chuckled softly and pulled away, reaching into a paper envelope you had left earlier on the bedside table "Bueno, pero si me diste, Alejo," you smirked at him playfully, handing him the square picture, "you got me good."
He glared at you for a little longer before taking the picture, examining it. It had your name on one of the upper corners, and a circle zeroing on a tiny protuberance. "Y esto?"
"The reason I'll be out of commission, mi amor," you smiled at him warmly, "or should I call you papi? I mean, you should start getting used to it."
Alejandro's eyes shot up to meet yours again, this time wide as plates as your words sunk in. "...when did you...?"
"Doctor confirmed it two days ago," you stroked his cheek, watching him closely for any reaction. You hadn't actively talked about forming a family before, other than in a hypothetical future. So, you were still quite unsure whether or not he would take the news in stride or not.
You were rewarded with a wide grin that nearly parted his face in two, and his free hand moving to your body, tenderly landing on your belly. You reciprocrated with your own grin, your eyes flooding with fresh tears, this time out of pure happiness.
"Voy a ser papá?," he wanted to confirm, and you didn't wait to nod your head eagerly, leaning closer to him again until you were in range of a thousand of small kisses he spread over your face before pulling you in for a long kiss.
Only to be interrupted by the machine again, its alarm announcing his rising heartbeat and causing you to inch back from the kiss in a giggle.
"Alejo, tranquilo!"
~•~•~•~•~•~
BONUS:
"Soy tan feliz, mi amor," he mumbled in your temple, his lips brushing your skin. After the doctor had finally seen him after waking up, he spent a whole half a second trying to convince you to join him on the bed. He pulled you closer to him, enjoying your warmth and your closeness.
"I'm so elated," you hummed into his chest, before letting out a soft sigh, "I'm just not looking forward to your mamá berating us for getting pregnant before marriage."
"... Ay, pinche verga, cierto." He whispered in horror, the machine beeping loudly again at the thought of his very catholic mother reacting to the news.
"Alejo, cálmate!"

Back To You | Alejandro Vargas x Wife!Reader
a/n: you guys got me fucked up. how can i be more in love with alejandro??? shits crazy. alejandro is a sensitive man underneath his whole military facade. good men cry. if you don’t believe that or like it, get off my blog please 🤍
warnings: mentions of blood, injury, guns, kidnapping. vague mentions of torture.
summary: Alejandro lost himself when he found his home broken into, you were gone and the gun he gave you to protect yourself left on the floor of the living room.
Tumblr media
This would be the last place Alejandro would be searching before settling Las Almas ablaze. The damn cartel had enough nerve to break into his home and take what he cared for the most - his wife.
He was nervous. Yes, you knew how to protect yourself for the most part, it was evident when Alejandro saw the pistol he had given you on the floor of your home, ten of the thirteen bullet fired. He was also nervous, seeing so much blood in his home.
The warehouse was quiet now, his team had killed most of the targets and now he was running through hallways. Kicking down doors, clearing cells that were empty to begin with - he was beginning to lose faith.
Mi sol, mi sol, ¿Dónde están?
He had knocked down twenty doors before he found the last one, his heart in his throat. He turned to Rodolfo behind him. The Sergeant Major nodded to him, keeping his rifle up as Alejandro looked back to the wooden door. He raised his leg, slamming his foot into it. The door splinted into pieces as it slammed into the wall, Alejandro moved forwards with his rifle in his hands. The flashlight on the gun shined around the room, another concrete room with just a metal chair in the middle. He stepped into the room, moving towards the chair.
Fresh blood.
“Pendejo!” A voice screeched before a weight was attached onto Alejandro’s back, forcing him to stumble forwards. He twisted while his hands went up and grabbed the arm around his throat, pulling it away.
“Y/N! Y/N, it’s us!” He heard Rudy shout, the weight on his back stopped moving. Alejandro felt the weight quickly slide off of him, he whipped around so fast to see you. His bleeding heart ruptured, and a tidal wave ensued as soon as he saw your bloody face, scared and tearful.
“Ale.” Your voice was nothing compared to your war cry only moments before, it was barely a whisper as you held your hands close to your chest. “Ale.” He watched as the small shiv in your hands dropped to the floor, mutely clattering against the concrete.
His arms reached for you, you dove into him. His hands dug into your hair and his other arm pulled you tight, but you loudly winced. He let go, still holding your head as he looked down to you. “Where are you hurt?” He wiped away blood from your forehead, but it kept coming. “Rudy.”
Rudy immediately marched over, handing the Colonel some alcohol wipes.
“Lo siento, mi sol. No te protegí lo suficiente.” He whispered, wiping away dried blood and tears from your face, his stomach twisted into knots. “I will do better to protect you.”
“Ale,” Rudy’s voice sounded with urgency, “tu esposa sangra mucho por la espalda. Necesitamos que la evacúen.”
His eyes widened, more tears came from your eyes.
“Is that true? You need to tell me how bad you’re hurt!” His voice raised a little, throwing the wipe away before moving away to inspect the t-shirt and long pants you were in. There was a large collection of gashes on your stomach, arms sliced up - you looked as if you were going to pass out.
Your tears fell faster and you barely got a word out before you collapsed into him, his entire body going into emergency mode. He immediately swung you into his arms, “Keep your eyes open, my love, c’mon.”
Your face rolled into his vest, eyes barely open as he shouted to his friend, “¡Vamos, Rudy! ¡Tenemos que irnos!”
Alejandro kept you close to him as Rudy led him back through the building, your head rolling back and forth as he ran.
“Ale.”
He glanced down to you, seeing your beautiful eyes gaze up at him. The eyes he had loved for years. “Yes, my love?”
“Os amo. Lo siento.”
Your eyes fluttered closed, and you wouldn’t hear your husband’s screams for you to wake, to look at him again. You wouldn’t hear his cries, begging for you to stay with him. Your body began to feel cold, blossoming from the stab wounds in your back - heartbeat in your ears as the feeling of your husband carrying you began to fade away into nothingness.
——
It wouldn’t be until you wake in your bed days later that you would see your husband again, his eyes on you as tears ran down his face. He held your hands up to his lips, placing kisses to them as he pressed his thankfulness to God for saving you.
“Ale, what…” You coughed a little, your whole body ached. “Happened?”
“You’re going to be okay, mi sol.”
Your husband had a flood of tears run down his face, holding your hands to his head and letting small sobs leave his body. You had fought your attackers hard to see Alejandro again, but it hurt to see him sobbing into your skin. You whispered to him, “No llores, estoy aquí.”
“I-I failed you.” His voice cracked, his eyes finally peering over your hands he held, his deep brown eyes growing red from irritation. “I didn’t protect you-“
“You didn’t know I was in danger.”
“Mi sol, you will always be in danger because of me.” Tears ran down his face, he pressed a kiss to your skin. “Forgive me.” Another kiss before he pressed his forehead into your hands, you could feel the sobs shuddering his whole body. “Forgive me, my love.”
You murmured to him, “Todavía me protegiste, me salvaste. Sé que siempre vendrás por mí.” The broken man squeezed your hands, sobs still erupting from his lips before you moved your hands away from his. He let them, his teary eyes looked and watched as you gently pet his hair, coming it away from his face. Guilt was written all over his face, you wished you could wipe it away like his warm tears. “You still came when I needed you.”
He let out a huff through his nose, his hands settled next to your side. “I broke my promise to you to keep you safe from harm. Te lo prometí y te lastimaste.”
Your hand rested on his cheek. “I don’t care about broken promises.” Your thumb swiped away the constant stream of tears. “Listen to me. Your job is dangerous, I know that. I know that people will do anything to hurt you, and that would include hurting me.” Your other hand gently brushed his dark hair from his face as you whispered, “I don’t ever have to question that you protect me the best you can, and I don’t have to question that you will always save me if something happens.”
His hands found purchase on your wrists, squeezing his eyes shut to try and stop his tears.
“Las Almas needs you, my love.” You muttered, your other hand settled on his other cheek so you held his face in your hands. “Look at me.” His eyes opened, he took in stuttering breaths and you wiped away his tears. “I’m alive because of you, Alejandro. Many other innocent people are alive because of you.”
“You almost died.” He shook his head. “Eres el amor de mi vida, I can’t live without you.”
“Alejandro Vargas, you haven’t been listening.” You shook his head a little, his eyebrows furrowed. “You protect me the best you can, I’m very grateful. You’re doing your best, my love. That’s all I ask for.”
He nodded, moving to the side to kiss your palm gently before leaning his face into your touch.
“You can’t break your other promise though, Ale.”
His dark eyes flickered to yours, a smile on your face.
“You promised to get me a dog.”
He laughed a little. “A big dog, no?”
“A big dog with spots, Ale. Your wife demands it.”
He kissed your palm again, thanking God again in his heart for keeping you alive so he could admire your smile.
“Anything to help me keep you safe, mi sol.”

ALEJANDRO VARGAS X F!READER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
inspired by the glorious lovers, Gomez and Morticia.
a request that i hope will succeed to mend every heart i broke because of certain angst
Tumblr media
summary: you can't love someone more than yourself and live everyday as if it's the last.. well, certainly not according to you and your lover
warnings: none, sfw, pure fluff <3
note: im not that good at writing romance.. im an angst person but yeah that was really entertaining, doing some research and planning 🤭 tysm for your request anon, I'd love hearing from you again, tell me what you think 🫶🏻
"I've finally found you, now my life tastes sweet like cinnamon"
"I think they truly love each other, but I'm not entirely sure," Rudy chuckled at Soap's comment as they observed Alejandro and his lover, you, dancing on the crowded dance floor.
Throughout the night, you danced, kissed, and flirted, seemingly inseparable.
Los Vaqueros had organized a party to celebrate their latest mission after the tank operation. It was an ideal opportunity for Alejandro to introduce you to his brothers and new allies: Gaz, Soap, Ghost, and Captain Price.
The evening had started as a simple get-together, but it quickly turned into a display of intense flirting and hours of dancing and drinks.
Rudy would often joke that Alejandro seemed to forget everyone else when he was with you. He was even distracted at the shooting range, nearly shooting one of his own men when he caught a glimpse of you passing by.
The men sitting at the table laughed, sipping their beers while keeping an eye on the couple swaying on the dance floor. "I can't believe this is the same man I used to work with. He is completely smitten with her," Rudy laughed heartily, clearly becoming more and more tipsy.
Shaking his head, he smiled. "No hermano, Alejandro and _ are not whipped. They simply love each other. They've had this connection ever since they met."
You had met Alejandro years ago, during a time when you both had to work together amidst the scandalous movements of the cartel. After a period of dating, he proposed, and within a year, you were married. Though Alejandro had some flaws, such as anger issues and work addiction, he never let that affect your relationship. Any disagreement or argument would swiftly be resolved with passionate apologies shared behind closed doors. Some never started believing in soulmates till they witnessed the Colonel and his wife dancing bachata at 2 am.
To Alejandro, you were a delicate flower, even with your own strong-willed nature. He took pleasure in watching you bark orders to incompetent recruits.
When some of his men playfully asked him whether he'll choose you over eternity.. well of course he chose you. Because, quoting him: "how could I choose a life where you are not by my side, cara mia? I'd consider it as hell itself. For me, amor, I'd rather hold you for a brief moment over any eternities."
You, on the other side, proudly showcased your love for him. The bond you shared was powerful and seemingly magical. Together, you lived for the moment, sucking the joy of life and spating out the sorrow. There wasn't any words that could describe how you feel about him.
Crazy? maybe. Deeply in love? Absolutely.
Taking a break from dancing, you volunteered to get drinks, and Alejandro made his way back to the table. A broad smile adorned his face as he glanced at you, seated closely to him, holding onto his arm. You smiled back, giving his hand a gentle squeeze as he kissed your forehead and kept a protective arm around your waist.
Captain Price chuckled and patted Alejandro's back, remarking, "Well son, you never told us you were married. Rudy mentioned it before he passed out."
You glanced at Alejandro, resting your elbow on the table, cheek supported by your palm, wearing a playful smirk.
"Is that so? He didn't mention me even once? Must have been pretty busy, right, amor?"
Alejandro held your hand, gently squeezing it within his calloused palm and placing soft kisses on your fingertips.
"Just because I didn't talk about you doesn't mean you weren't on my mind, Querida. You reside there constantly, occupying every thought of mine."
"That was cheesy, Alejandro. Eres increíble!" you teased, his eyes seemed to flicker like stars shining in his dark brown orbs. He drew closer to you, his smile wide.
"You really shouldn't speak Spanish to me, amor. You know it drives me mad."
"I'd absolutely love seeing you mad, Hermoso."
The men around the table followed your conversation, enraptured by this side of Alejandro. He was unafraid to show you off, proud of your relationship and unapologetic about his love for you. In fact, if he was to be called out for loving you this much, he'd proudly wear the title. He cherished you deeply, and you had no worries about the cartel using you against him. They knew not to cross that line, for you were a protected and treasured part of Alejandro's life. God help the ones who tried to cross it, let some peace fall upon their limp bodies.
After a long night, it was almost four in the morning when you and Alejandro reached your home. In the blue hour, you both would often take a moment to witness the captivating beauty of nature while wrapped in each other's arms.
Alejandro gently tilted your chin, meeting your gaze with a smile as he whispered slurred words into your ear.
"Do you remember our honeymoon, darling?"
"Which one, amor? Every day with you feels like a honeymoon, and you're definitely giving me a sweet tooth."
"..The night after we got married," he reminisced. "When everyone had left, leaving only you and me. We sat on the balcony, with the cold wind weaving through our hair. I held you close as the sun rose."
A slight smile formed on your lips as you relived the memory. Your fingertips lingered on the burning flesh of his cheek. Closing your eyes, his words sank in the depth of your mind.
"Do you ever realize you become a poet when you're drunk?"
"Just for you, amor, I'll be anything you want, if you wanted me to get you the stars, I'll collect every piece of them, even if i died trying. But if you wanted to shove me away, I'll stick with you for eternity and beyond. You're too precious for me, cara mia"
His hand found yours, in slow movements and dizzy stares, he squeezed your palm. As if the simple mouvement was a promise, a vow for you.
"I want to recreate that moment tonight," Alejandro murmured, his voice filled with warmth and love. "Let's stay up until the sun rises again, and we can relive our love story once more."
You nodded, anticipation gleaming in your eyes. Hand in hand, you made your way to the balcony, watching as the sky transformed from dark to a palette of soft hues. Wrapped in each other's arms, you whispered sweet nothings, promising to love, support, and protect one another until the end of time.
This kind of love that almost felt irreal, you shared a deep mutual connection that none could explain, and neither of you tried.
If anything, you just loved each other. You digged and bathed in the joy, forgetting the sorrow. Was this a blessing of life, an apology for the misery your souls endured during lifetimes?
Or were you simply lucky enough of to find the missing piece of your heart?
For the matter, you both knew that this love was enough to mend your hearts, over and over again.
As the first rays of sunlight kissed your skin, Alejandro leaned in and whispered against your lips.
"Te amo, mi vida. Forever and always."
"Te amo también, mi amor. Nada ni nadie nos separará."
(can i marry him please? i stg he's perfect. sorry if it's not accurate or not what you expected. ily all 🫶🏻❤️)

The Name of the Wind 4
Find the series masterlist
Here we finally are continuing with this story! I'm trying to match up the timing on everything between these thee stories in the dragon riders 'verse. Yes, three. Our two special guests in this chapter will be leaving to their own story.
It'll be fun, I swear.
Warnings: Swearing, idiot in love, clueless reader, scheming riders, seriously the whole garrison is invested by now.
Word count: 1.8k
Tumblr media
Dinner seemed nothing special, in the way that you'd become accustomed to meals here. There was the usual assortment of foods at every table, riders and staff settling down to eat.
Alejandro was at the table you'd unofficially labeled his - not in the center of the room quite, but still easy to get to. Some of the usual people were there already - Rodolfo and Marin both nodded to you.
The two new people were there as well, seated side by side across from Alejandro.
“Our guests for tonight,” Alejandro told you, motioning you to sit next to him. “Alex and Frank.”
You greeted them both, settling next to Alejandro. They'd both cleaned up since you saw them earlier, though Frank hadn't bothered to shave. You'd never seen them before, and you were curious as to how they got here, and how long they'd be here.
“You must be new here.” Frank eyed you, openly appraising.
“Yes,” you admitted, a little surprised.
“New rider?”
“Not exactly,” you hedged, on the border of being uncomfortable, and not sure why.
“She is a leather worker,” Alejandro answered smoothly, one knee pressing into yours under the table, his elbow gently jostling your arm. “Quite skilled, as well.”
You warmed under both the praise and the touches, shoulders relaxing even as you leaned ever so slightly into his space.
Frank held your gaze for a moment before he nodded. “Then we'll be seeing you around again.”
“Are you here often?” You took a tray from Alejandro, serving yourself food even as you glanced at the two men.
Alex shrugged, a secretive half-smile twitching his lips. “We come through every so often.”
You looked between the two, seeing clearly that this was some kind of joke. But Alejandro nudged your knee again under the table, and you didn't ask.
The conversation moved on from there, Rodolfo chiming in with daily reports. Another rider came over to talk to Alejandro for a few minutes, mostly ignoring Alex and Frank. They seemed content to be ignored, talking quietly to each other.
You squashed your curiosity back down and ate your dinner quietly.
Frank and Alex stood to leave in tandem, and Alejandro nodded to them.
“Who were they?” You asked very quietly once they'd left.
Alejandro hummed for a moment, arms crossed loosely over his chest. “You will see them from time to time,” he said slowly. “But you cannot ask what they do, or where they go. It is confidential.”
“Okay.” You could do that. No problem.
Well. Okay. You'd have to remind yourself not to ask, but you'd manage.
He looked down at you, amused. “You won't see them so often it will be a problem,” he assured you. “Don't fret.”
You chuckled. “Sure,” you agreed easily. “If you say so.”
Alejandro shook his head but smiled, getting to his feet. “I will see you tomorrow.”
“Good night.” You watched him and Rodolfo walk out together, shoulders nearly pressed together.
The view was quite nice, after all.
Shaking your head at yourself, you cleared your place at the table and made your way back to your room. You had a little time before bed. Plenty of time to stuff your emotions back down.
You were still trying not to find Alejandro attractive… but it wasn't easy. He made it very difficult, in fact. Especially when he sought you out at meal times, and took you on a flight, and promised he wouldn't let harm come to you…
Really, how were you expected to not find him attractive?
You squished your face in your pillow to squeal, just a little bit.
The problem over the next few weeks wasn't work. It wasn't the dragons, as they had all learned that you were to be treated gently.
No. The problem was Alejandro.
He ate most meals with you. He took you on two more flights. He made a point of seeing you at least once each day.
He was distracting, but in the most pleasant way. Intriguing and courteous and funny.
He was a major problem.
You looked for him, almost automatically, every time you went to eat, or when you were in the dragons’ nesting area. Any time you heard his voice, you paused what you were doing to look.
Honestly, it was a bit ridiculous. You were embarrassed at yourself.
But you still looked.
One night after dinner, Alejandro asked if you'd take a walk with him. You agreed, heart fluttering.
“I will be gone a few days,” he said as the two of you strolled down empty hallways. “I need to go to the capital.”
“Oh.” You couldn't help the way your heart sank with disappointment.
“Rodolfo will be in charge while I'm gone,” he said, looking at you and away again. “It will only be a few days.”
“I hope you have fun?” It came out for too much of a question, and you grimaced at yourself.
He snorted. “I will not, but thank you. I dislike going, but I must sometimes.”
“Why do you dislike it?”
He shrugged. “Politics,” he answered dryly. “There is an overabundance of people who feel far too self-important.”
You laughed, unable to hold it in. “I'm sorry,” you managed, still giggling. “But the look on your face.”
He huffed, smiling. “It is never a hardship to make you laugh,” he murmured. “Is there anything you want from the capital?”
You blinked at him, taken completely by surprise. “I don't know.”
He eyed you for a moment before he nodded, just once. “I will find you something, then.”
You almost protested, except he turned to face you fully, two fingers under your chin tipping your face towards him. Your eyes went wide.
“I will think of you,” he promised, low and quiet. “I need to go, because I need to wake early. I will see you in a few days.” He leaned in, and for a wild moment you thought he'd kiss you. Your heart leapt and then pounded, lips parting ever so slightly.
But his lips landed on your cheek, soft and chaste. Your eyelids fluttered, a soft breath escaping you.
The two of you stood perfectly still for one moment. Then Alejandro stepped back, his fingers falling from your skin.
You watched him go, hand rising to touch the spot he'd just kissed.
You hadn't imagined that. He had really kissed your cheek.
Oh, you were way past trouble now. Now you were in deep.
You meandered back to your room, completely distracted and oblivious to the world around you, replaying those precious moments over and over again to make sure you remembered them.
You didn't sleep well, half-remembered dreams of flying then falling interrupting you through the night.
You were surprised when Marin sat with you at breakfast. She asked about your day, and seemed genuinely interested. Which was… weird, but okay.
But the weirdness didn't stop there.
Various riders popped in to your workshop throughout the day. Some just asked how you were doing, while some asked about bringing you things for repairs. One even brought you a canteen of water, saying she'd noticed yours was empty.
You were deeply, deeply confused.
But you didn't actually object.
Rodolfo gently herded you to the normal table at dinner, but he didn't try to make you talk. Just made sure you had food.
Alejandro left for a few days and the whole garrison went extremely weird.
Maybe they just needed some sleep. Or something. Maybe you needed sleep.
Except the next day passed in much the same manner. You hadn't had so much conversation… basically ever. And with so many people! Even one of the kitchen staff found you to ask if you had enough scrap leather to make a holder for a knife.
Which, of course, you did. Not that you'd tell her, the poor woman seemed easily flustered to begin with, but you weren't using scraps for this.
You were also debating between telling Alejandro the entire garrison went nuts while he was gone, or never mentioning any of this again.
You skipped breakfast the next day, sneaking some bread from the kitchen to tide you over until lunch. This, apparently, was a mistake, as what felt like half the garrison showed up at your workshop before lunch. Not all at once, thankfully, mostly alone with a few pairs or small groups showing up.
But still. Highly annoying while you were trying to work.
You were gearing up around lunch time to yell at the group of three hovering outside your door when a dragon trumpeted outside. All three riders perked up, and the youngest (and boldest) of them darted inside to grab you. You barely had time to yelp before the three were half-dragging you off, your feet barely keeping up.
Bright sunlight blinded you for a couple moments as they dragged you clear outside. But you felt the ground-shaking thump of a dragon landing.
You didn't even have time to ask before the three abandoned you. You nearly stumbled, but managed not to. Huffing, you shaded your eyes to look.
Your heart fluttered in your chest.
Caba stopped just in front of you, rumbling a friendly greeting to you, head lowering to breathe hot air on top of your head. You couldn't help but laugh a little, reaching up to pat his snout.
“You're here.” Alejandro sounded surprised but rallied quickly, throwing one leg over Caba's back and sliding down the big dragon's side. He landed easily, making you the teensiest bit jealous - you still nearly faceplanted every time.
“I am,” you agreed, a little perplexed but mostly just happy to see him. “How was your trip?”
He waved a hand, dismissing the question. “Uneventful. Not worth it, as usual.” He paused a moment before he smiled. “But I did find this.”
He produced a flower from nowhere, petals marbled pink and white.
“Oh, it's beautiful.” You smiled, leaning closer to see if the flower had any fragrance. It did, and it smelled wonderful too.
“It's for you.” Alejandro took one of your hands, curling your fingers delicately around the stem.
Your eyes blew wide and you jerked your gaze from the flower to him. He just smiled at you, warm and soft and so pleased.
Excited not-exactly-whispering behind you made both of you turn to look. Alejandro's smile dropped and he huffed softly.
“Excuse me, I have some riders to speak with,” he growled, much less happy now. But he paused and cupped your cheek, leaning in close to whisper, “I'll see you later.” And then he strode off, like a man on a warpath.
You dropped your gaze back to your flower and hid your smile behind it, inexplicably giddy.

Some dad!CoD men thoughts … f!reader implied
Them making one of these ⬇️ or like a little toy gun.. and dubbing it ‘baby’s first knife/gun’ for their toddler who probably just learned to walk
instagram
I believe each of them would want their own child to learn self defense; and they jokingly say they’re gonna start as early as possible.
The wifeys are not amused. (But probably agree to signing the babies up for martial arts when they’re a little older)
The kids find the toy when they’re older and gain an interest in knives (much to their mothers’ dismay) dads would entertain their new interest.
they’d probably take their kids to shooting ranges to learn defense for fun

alejandro isn’t spanish u retard he’s mexican. he isn’t even in the same army as the 141? you’re so painfully stupid. PLAY A VIDEO GAME INSTEAD OF WRITING STUPID WRONG FANFICS ABT IT U FAG
wow. ty for this lovely message and for correcting me about alejandro’s nationality, i’ll be sure to fix that. i have played the game; and when i write characters in bulk i expect them to read it in context with the character. for example:
simon - 141
alejandro - los vaqueros/ghost team.
please learn to be a decent human being and leave my blog alone as you’re causing unneeded and unnecessary negativity. you clearly don’t want to consume fanfiction so why are you in the x reader tag?
(also if you have problems with my work, take it up in my dms. i will make these hateful comments public, but i never make dms public so if you don’t want me to expose the piece of shit you are don’t do this)

Alejandro
B,C,F,L,M,R,U
Alejandro Vargas - NSFW Alphabet
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
On him, his legs. He's works hard to stay in shape, he's quite proud of his legs and the strength they hold. Loves to wrap them around your waist if you're fucking him missionary to keep you close to him.
On his partner, arms. They're perfect to grip onto when you're fucking him, and the way that you man-handle him so easily makes him weak. If you wear any sort of shirt that shows off/accents your arms, prepare to be drooled over.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Wants you to cum inside and stay there. Keep him plugged until you're ready to go another round and he's a happy man, wanting as many loads as possible.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying)
Torn between two here. If he wants it hard and rough, doggy style. Shove him into the pillows and keep him pinned there while you fuck him with all your might.
If he wants it soft and sensual, anything face-to-face. He wants to be able to take a moment to just stop and desperately kiss you, whispered assurances being passed between you as you make pleasure slowly crackle up his spine.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
One of your rooms/his office. Although, you've definitely been walked in on when someone's opened the door to what they thought was a free room only to be greeted by the sight of Alejandro on his knees with your cock in his throat or bent over anything that can hold his weight with his pants down.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
When you take charge. He's used to being the one barking out orders, but if you do it? And others actually listen? He is definitely making a comment about you keeping that attitude in the bedroom later.
I also think if he catches you just out the shower. To see water dripping down your body, skin still warm from the water, you have to sometimes (reluctantly) push him away because you don't want to have to shower again.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Absolutely down to experiment with whatever comes to his or your mind. Brings it up very casually as well, the two of you just sitting down over breakfast and he suddenly comes out with "I've been thinking about" followed by a filthy suggestion that has you forgetting what you were doing and off to the bedroom.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
The King of teasing. Don't start something you can't finish because once you start teasing Alejandro, he gives back 110%. Will take every opportunity to "accidentally" brush up against you, letting his hands linger when touching you, whispering dirty thoughts into your ear in passing. Likes to see how far he can push you before you break.

ᴏᴏᴅᴀʟ.
Tumblr media
pairing: Alejandro x AFAB!Reader word count: 1319. cw: age gap (implied, the reader is mid to late 20s), smut/NSFW (in later installments). note: shadofireshinobi, you have called and I have answered. finally. this was originally supposed to be a one-shot but I decided to break it up because I wanted to draw out the tension some more.
oodal (Tamil) - the exaggerated, oftentimes fake anger between lovers after a quarrel.
Tumblr media
It was 10 minutes into your arrival and you were already on edge.
You could blame it on the flight there but that would be baseless, even for you. Instead, you opt to shift blame (which is even more baseless) on their vaunted leader whose minimal tolerance for bullshit was admirable, doubly so in your case.
It wasn’t like you’d tell him, though, not with the way he was staring into your soul after your gripe session.
And thus your dance began.
Tumblr media
It was a week into your arrival and tensions were rising.
To be honest, your temper was flaring not even a full 24 hours after you arrived and made yourself home. This wasn’t your first choice; shit, it wasn’t your choice to make at all but here you were. And here he was, assigned to protect you. Wonderful. It was a routine trip, part of the job. You could be diplomatic when you wanted and needed to—hell, it’s in your job description to be, yeah?—but with Alejandro, well…
This just wasn’t one of those times.
It was like walking on eggshells and riding the lightning. One simple conversation could end with you snarling and Alejandro talking you down placidly but you were no fool. You saw the tension corded in his neck, saw it in furrowed brows and the way he clenched his jaw; he wouldn’t back down and neither would you.
And poor Rodolfo—Rudy! He good-naturedly insisted you called him such. Alejandro’s right-hand man was caught between a rock and a hard place, doing his best to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible while aiding his commander as best as he could. He was good at it. You could see why Alejandro trusted him so much. Rudy was the cool breeze to his solid, unwavering earth. You could admire the man for his decision-making skills if he wasn’t such a hard-ass.
Or perhaps you already did and you weren’t aware of it yet. Certainly, Alejandro thought so, too, if the look he gave you was any indication.
Tumblr media
It was a week and two days into your arrival and you damn near pissed your pants.
You weren’t expecting this ( emphasis on YOU) but Alejandro wasn’t a leader for nothing. He had plans. And contingency plans. Some of which you weren’t too keen on.
Turns out the culprit was a rival faction, people who took offense to Alejandro’s stance on corruption. They dealt a fair good bit of damage but Los Vaqueros pulled through. You were separated in the fallout but you survived. Physically that is (your dignity is another story). He made sure of it. The drawback to this, however, was that space and resources were limited for the time being which meant you were stuck.
Stuck with him. Wonderful.
At least he was nice enough to tell you which resulted in yet another gripe session, one he immediately shut down. He didn’t raise his voice but you could hear the finality in it just the same.
And if this were anyone else, you'd shrug it off with a cool, almost derisive shrug, perhaps even a cutting remark if you had the energy for it. Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding your current predicament would put you in even more danger than you were already in and so you opted to let your eyes do the talking for you.
It's too bad it didn't work. He met your glare with an even gaze of his own and you wished like hell he was foolish enough to hate.
And no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't ignore the... thing that simmered unchecked between you two, or within you, rather.
Tumblr media
It was a week and five days into your arrival and you were 100% certain that Alejandro would be the death of you for multiple reasons.
Or you of him, whichever one came first.
It was a small house, one of many that he’d secured in the event he and his men were attacked. You couldn’t complain though in your mind you had plenty to complain about. Alejandro made sure the place was well-stocked, the amenities were working, and that you were safe. All was well.
As well as well could be.
Alejandro the man and Alejandro the leader were two very different people it seemed like. Whereas the leader was all unbreakable, unshakable earth, you began to see the cracks in between. He was gracious at his best and distant at his worst, and part of you started to feel some… shame for the shit you put him through. And then he’d do something to piss you off and it was back to square one again.
It was as peaceful as peaceful could be all things considering, and under different circumstances, you’d think you two were a couple in the midst of a lover’s spat what with the way you two danced around each other.
And again, under different circumstances, you might have welcomed it.
Tumblr media
It was two weeks into your arrival and the search continued.
Alejandro was ceaseless in his efforts to see to it that his men were alright and accounted for. You did your best to help him when and where you could but for the most part, you kept out of his way, and for good reason. You could see the tension tearing away at Alejandro the man. You were observant, picking up on the individual tics that signaled his growing weariness and stress.
You couldn’t blame him and you were gracious enough to limit your complaints. It did its job but Alejandro didn’t relent in his search.
Admittedly, a part of you wished that he did.
You had prided yourself on being (somewhat) self-controlled when it came to interpersonal relationships. When it came to him, however, that pride was dying a slow, agonizing death. You found yourself saying and doing things you normally wouldn’t do and today—tonight, rather—was one of those moments.
But it’s okay; you figured you could sleep through the embarrassment.
It wasn’t every day that you shared a bed with someone else and being in such close proximity to Alejandro was… something. Searing, maybe? Usually, you slept with your back to him but was still made painfully aware of the heat between you two. Alejandro was distant this time, more so than he usually is. You swore you’d never forgive yourself for being so... concerned, but you risked what little dignity you had left and turned to face him. He was on his back, staring up at the worn ceiling. Had been doing so for quite some time from your estimation. You weren’t too sure, though. Hell, you weren’t sure about a lot of things when it came to him. You sighed quietly.
There are moments in life where instinct—feelings, perhaps?—supersede logic and create moments, necessary moments, beyond understanding. You didn’t realize it then, hadn’t stopped to think what the outcome of such a gesture could mean but in that moment, it felt… right. You didn’t register what you had done until the heat was almost overwhelming and you felt his shoulder tense under your touch. You were closer to him, closer than you’d ever been in the two weeks since you made his acquaintance and ironically, it made you realize just how distant from Alejandro you truly were.
You could give yourself grace if he was a foolish bastard but…
You were all but plastered to his side. Your hand on his shoulder was meant to be comforting and to your surprise, it did the trick, offered respite if only for the moment. Alejandro didn’t acknowledge you, not how you would’ve liked him to, but he knew you were there just the same.
You felt his shoulder unburden under your touch and the eggshells and lightning bolts seemed like such a lifetime ago. Just like a lover’s spat.
But your dance continued.
And you two slept the sleep of the languished.

Alejandro Vargas x f!reader (Avispa)
Masterlist Prologue Ch.1
Chapter 2: Mate amargo: Indiference
Warnings: none
A/N: another update so soon?! Don't get used to that.
Sargento Mayor Rodolfo Parra watched pensively at Alejandro as he recounted his meeting with Avispa. The Colonel was incensed, gesturing wildly with his hands as he paced around the barrack they shared when they had no time to go home and rest.
Alejandro had very strong opinions about the woman, although he kept himself from calling her vile names. Even in his fury, he had his limits. Besides, his catholic mother would never forgive him for talking ill of a woman, no matter how frustrating she was.
Rodolfo noted that and kept it at the back of his head, while he listened to his childhood friend turned superior vent about Avispa. He kept quiet for most of the interaction, besides humming and assenting to show Alejandro he was paying attention as he unfastened his boots.
Alejandro had a lot to say, even after they were both laying down on their cots, looking at the ceiling. Whenever Rodolfo thought he was done, Alejandro would break the silence with another remark.
“As if I'd let a fucking killer for hire use the Fuerzas Especiales as a crutch to complete her assassination job,” Alejandro grumbled mostly to himself, but loud enough for Rodolfo to hear.
“So, you wouldn't even consider it?” Rodolfo sighed, the only sentence he uttered since they entered the barrack.
Alejandro sat up on his cot, glaring at his friend in disbelief, “would you, pendejo?!”
Rodolfo simply snorted a laugh, having expected that reaction from him. “It wouldn't be the first time we've worked with PMC’s or contractors from other countries. It's kind of part of the job, Ale.” He stretched over his cot, groaning softly as he relaxed. “You mentioned she had a Southern Latin American accent, didn’t you? She’s probably a part of that group…” He trailed off, remembering an old report on the Amazonas.
“It's not the same thing, those collaborations were approved by legal organizations, like the CIA,” Alejandro sighed, rolling his eyes, “she's not. What if she makes shit hit the fan, eh? Who could we report that to?”
“I hear you on that, hermano,” Rodolfo sighed, turning to his side to look at Alejandro sleepily, “on the fact that no legal responsibility will tie her or restrain her actions. However, since she’s trying to collaborate with us, it means she also won't have anyone come help her if shit hits the fan. If she fucks up, we could just drop her to the wolves, pretend we never worked together, and fix it.”
Alejandro stared at his friend, his frown softening just a fraction as his words echoed in his head. He watched Rudy yawn and fix a blanket over himself, and laid himself back down. He stared at the ceiling in silence, reflecting on his options.
Rodolfo was right. Los Vaqueros were the only insurance that Avispa would even survive squaring up to el Sin Nombre, and they could deny her support if he so wanted it. He spent another half an hour weighing on the pros and cons of allowing her in their circle, and the thought of having the choice of backing out made him think more about the positive outcome it could bring.
“... Maybe.” He spoke in the quietness, Rodolfo’s soft snores the only reply he got.
Bar Marcela was once again the chosen venue for the meeting, but this time Alejandro got there first. He had sent Ricardo a coded message to set up another meeting with Avispa, and now he only had to wait. He nibbled on his nachos without hurry, making sure he tasted them thoroughly to compensate for the last time. He could practically feel Marcela’s eyes on him, even though she was in the backroom at the moment.
Avispa met his eyes the moment she walked in, and her quiet steps led her straight to his table. She sat down wearing a knowing smile on her face, and it ticked Alejandro to see it.
“I knew you would reconsider it, Coronel,” was her greeting, helping herself to one of his nachos. She ate it and hummed at the taste, while Alejandro’s glare was fixed on her. “What are your conditions?”
“You turn in every information you gather to us, no matter how small it may be, before you act out on it,” he began, leaning back and crossing his arms over his chest. “I’ll facilitate a quarter at my base so you can lay down and lick your wounds if needed, but I won’t insure your safety out of it.”
Avispa watched him thoughtfully. Of course, she always knew she wouldn’t depend on him or the Special Forces to keep her safe from the cartel. There was no way in hell a legal, government-backed military would publicly endorse her.
However, she was a big girl, and this wasn’t su primer jineteada. She was confident she could take care of herself.
“Muy bien,” Avispa agreed with a small grin, offering him her hand to shake it off.
Alejandro didn’t take it. Instead, he stood from his seat, staring down at her as he handed her a scribbled piece of paper. “Go to this address tomorrow, be ready to move into my base.”
He wasn’t particularly happy to take her in, and his face showed it. Despite this, he had preemptively chosen a private room in a corner of the barracks. Long ago, it was used by drill sergeants to watch over the recruits. But after the transformation into the base of operations of the Special Forces, it had been modified to house soldiers with disciplinary issues, and hidden cameras had been installed. It would be perfect to keep an eye on her movements in and out of the barracks. Of course, that information wouldn't be passed down to her.
At 0900 hours sharp, Avispa walked into the Vaqueros’ base of operations. Her eyes darted around as a guard led her to the women's barracks, partially to create a mental map of the installations, but also to admire the sheer size of them.
She could spot a few soldiers looking at her through the windows and she wondered how many others were not in her line of sight. She knew it was a tactical decision, to make her know she would be constantly under surveillance. That thought followed her as she entered her private quarters.
Her eyes studied her provisional accommodation, moreso trying to locate hidden cameras than checking out the bland bedding and the too-small window that looked out into the internal patio. Resigned to not being able to pinpoint the surveillance, she put down her duffel bag on the bed and opened it, pulling out a change of clothes and a smaller backpack.
As she's about to take her t-shirt off, she looked over her back, raising an eyebrow at the guard whose eyes were still fixed on her. “...May a señorita have some privacy?” She questioned, her voice almost sickly sweet.
The guard stared at her for just a moment longer before stepping back, although Avispa predicted he would only be one or two feet away from the door. She rolled her eyes, changing into a pair of jeans and a breezy top.
It was only moments later that Alejandro walked in, knocking twice on the door frame to announce himself. “How's your suite, princesa?” He greeted her in a teasing tone.
“Like a dream, Coronel,” Avispa matched his tone, flipping down on the cot and taking her tablet, scrolling through it, “good job hiding the cameras, I couldn't find them.”
Alejandro snorted, a sneer stretching his lips. Of course she would be smarter than to assume he wouldn't have an eye on her at all times. “Breakfast is at 0630, lunch is at 1400, dinner at 2100.”
She nodded at the information, glancing at her watch before sitting up and tilting her head a little. “I suppose I can get hot water at the kitchen any time of the day, right?”
Alejandro blinked at her and nodded slowly, slightly intrigued at her reason to require it. “Fancy a coffee, then?”
Avispa grinned and shook her head, swinging her legs over the edge of her bed and sliding her chanclas on, before pulling out a thermos from her duffel bag. “No, mate.”
The bitter taste of the yerba was thoroughly enjoyed as she slipped on the metallic straw. It had been a few days since she had been able to lower her guard enough to give herself time to enjoy a good mate. The beverage woke her up more effectively than a cup of coffee, and she took her sweet time browsing through her tablet as she drank it.
She scribbled down some words on a notepad, and later laid down on the cot, staring at the ceiling. That's all they could see in the footage. They saw no signs of her trying to install boobytraps, or hiding weapons, or anything else. Just a woman by herself, watching the time pass.
It all changed about an hour before dinner, when she took her backpack and slung it over her shoulder. She followed her mental map of the base expertly, tracing her steps back to the entrance and walking out, not a word heard from her lips to the guards who questioned her where she was going, or when she would return.
A/N: the worst crime commited by the COD fandom was to forget how unhinged Rudy can be.

Tumblr media
you can ask for one shots, drabbles, headcanons of task force 141, Alejandro, Rodolfo, valeria, Horangi and koning in different situations and contexts, especially if they are shapeshifters or hybrids, don't hesitate to ask for a headcanon, one shot or drable, I'll be happy to do it! And they'll be all soft, comforting and light angsty themes! Life is already too cruel and hard to make them suffer here too :)
Sadly there will be no smut or nsfw, I'm really bad at writing that kind of content, sorry. But, there will be slight superficial mentions of that as a reward.
I love manda dynamics, so you can ask for those too!

The music was deafening, blaring on her and making her head hurt in a constant pulsation of uncomfortable pain. Not enough to actually hurt, yet. She sighed, calling a waitress to pick up the drink she had just made, placing it on the counter. She ran a hand through her hair with another sigh, not noticing Soap, hanging around a few feet closer than before.
"You 'right there lass?" He shouted over the music with a tint of concern in his cheery tone.
"Yeah, yeah, 'm fine." she laughed "just got a headache creepin' on me" she shouted back.
"You can take a break y'know?" He joked, still seeming concerned.
"I know, I know. I'm fine tho, really" She reassured, smiling. As much as she did want to take her break she was waiting on an important contact. The bartender nodded, going back to his own section.
Tumblr media
A man walked in the club. His dark clothing contrasted with the rich men and women, but they were all way too busy to even care. He sat at her bar and she walked closer with a polite smile. "What can I get for ya?" She asked, putting up a texan accent.
"I'm looking for Sam." He stated, as if he didn't want anyone to bother him.
"You're sitting right in front of 'er" She grinned and the man stared her down with a mocking expression.
"you're telling me you're the intel dealer" He sounded even more mocking than he looked. She chuckled and put her elbows on the counter, leaning her weight on it, crossing her hand and exposing just enough cleavage.
"Yessir, in flesh and bones"
"There's no way a sweetheart like you is the biggest informant out here. I mean, the most you would have is little girl gossip" He mocked.
She shrugged "Your loss honey" She mocked back, moving onto the next drink.
"Wait," He called "I need that deal"
She turned back to him. "Alright, here are my conditions. One, an eye for an eye. What you so much need, I want back, just the same. Second, no one gets to know who I am." The glint in here eye scared him, a mix of mischief, of interest and of a devilish fire. "So, do we have a deal?" Her grin was just as warning as her look, but it quickly faded when an older man in a suit called her, turning innocent. "One second" Her voice sounded so sweet she almost seemed harmless. Almost.
"Anything I can help you with Price?" she shifted her accent back to her usual neutral one, moving her hair to uncover her dyed hair.
"I just wanted to check on you, wouldn't want to overwork my staff." He joked. "Soap said you didn't look very well, you had him worried there."
"Really? Oh, no, I'm fine. I just have a slight headache" She smiled sheepishly.
"You should really take a break" Suggested Price.
"As soon as I finish with my order I will" She assured. He nodded and let her walk back to her bar, eyes lingering on her in worry before turning away. She took a breath, taking back her texan accent and covering again her dyed hair, taking a confident stroll towards her client.
"So, do we have a deal or not? I don't have all day."
"Fine" Grumbled the man.
"What d'ya need? If what ya give me is enough I might just as well give it to ya" She grinned again, the devilish glint back in her eyes.
Tumblr media
She blew out a puff of smoke as she waited for the phone to send her to voicemail. It felt nice to not have to fake an accent and let her voice rest, settling in her normal tone. "Hola Amor. La Araña is planning on moving a drug shipment tomorrow night in between Las Almas territory and 141 territory. Around 2 or 3 am. Hard drug. Have fun and good luck." She hung up right after.
She heard the emergency exit door open and she quickly threw her cigarette on the floor, putting it out and straightening up. "Oh, hey, I didn't know you were here" Noted Kyle when he noticed her.
She chuckled softly. "I needed some fresh air" The other man hummed and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
"D'you mind?" She shook her head and he started smoking, settling them both in a comfortable silence.
"I didn't know you smoked" she teased and he snickered.
"Almost all of us do. Simon not so often, due to the mask and all, but he still smokes when he manages to catch a break. Chills us out, you know?"
"You seem to know each other quite well" she teased again, noting the information in the back of her brain. He nodded, saying how they were friends since a long time.
Tumblr media
Her expression almost showed her concern when she read the messages. "Kyle? Do you mind if I make a call?" She asked sheepishly.
"Not at all darling" he smiled. She refrained from wincing at the pet name. She dialed her wife's number and prayed to whatever being would hear her.
"Que paso Hermosa?" She heard V's voice and let out a breath in relief.
"Hola mamà" She let her wife know she was being heard by someone exterior. "Te deje un mensaje mas temprano sobre un paquete que tenias que recoger mañana. Una araña blanca creo. No vayas porfa, los azules van a estar allí y no quisiera que te los cruces."
"You're at work right? I'm guessing one of those little rats are standing besides you. So the drugs La Araña is moving are being intercepted by cops." The girl let out a hum in confirmation. "Y como sabes eso chiquita?" The voice Valeria used made her weak at the knees.
"Ale me aviso, ese tonto no sabe lo que anda haciendo"
"Good girl" The line went dead without even a good bye.
"Adios a ti tambien" muttered the young woman.
"She hung up on you" Teased Kyle.
"Yeah, that's my mother's attitude" Joked the girl.
Tumblr media
She sighed, dropping her bag on the floor and her keys on the table. Suddenly the door snapped closed and a pair of hands wrapped around her. One on her stomach and the other over her mouth. She gasped, going to pull the hand away from her mouth until she felt the cold hands slide under her dress shirt and over her neck.
"You should be more careful Karma, you never know who's waiting for you behind your door" Whispered her wife huskily. The young woman melted in the older's arms, finding herself unable to answer with the way the cold hands rested and moved against her skin. Valeria chuckled mockingly before pulling on the girl's jaw to kiss her deeply.
"You did a good job today love. I think you deserve a little reward"
Tumblr media
"Que paso Hermosa" - "What's up Beautiful"
"Te deje un mensaje mas temprano sobre un paquete que tenias que recoger mañana. Una araña blanca creo. No vayas porfa, los azules van a estar allí y no quisiera que te los cruces." - "I left a message earlier about a package you had to go get tomorrow. A white spider I believe. Please don't go, the blues are going to be there and I wouldn't want you to cross them."
"Y como sabes eso chiquita?" - "And how do you know that chiquita"
"Ale me aviso, ese tonto no sabe lo que anda haciendo" - "Ale told me, that fool didn't know what he was doing"
Tumblr media
A/N : I swear my pen slipped. I might write the rest of the scene, depending on how my friends that read my blog react to this one. If you like it, tell me or I might not do a part two or the headcannons I'm planning.

The Name of the Wind 3
Find the series masterlist
I know this is a bit late BUT this is still for @glitterypirateduck challenge. This is not the last chapter of this story, but it is the last chapter that will be using prompts from the challenge. This chapter used "Do you trust me?"
Warnings: Swearing, wooing, someone is a little oblivious, flying, dragons. Oh, and two new/familiar characters show up.
Word count: 1.8k
Tumblr media
Weeks passed. You learned your way around and met the other people who lived there. Not just the riders, but the kitchen staff too. You learned how everything worked, when to eat, where to wash up. Everything.
It was different from how your life had been before, but different didn't mean bad. Not in this case.
You never heard another word about your would-be husband. And you certainly didn't ask - that would be inviting trouble.
The hardest thing to adapt to was the most integral part of your role here.
The dragons.
Caba was very calm every time you interacted with him… which was quite a bit in the beginning, as Alejandro used him to demonstrate how the harnesses went on and where they wore the most. Caba didn't mind being used as a show model, remaining calm around you.
Unfortunately, that could not be said of every dragon.
The youngest dragon in the garrison, a blue female, actually knocked you off your feet when you met her. Her rider was apologetic, helping you back to your feet. The freshly-chastened dragon drooped like a misbehaving pup while Caba oversaw the fitting process for her harness.
You did not get knocked over a second time. But it did take multiple washes to get all the mud off you later.
After that little incident, Caba or Alejandro was around for every new dragon you met. You weren't sure if you were flattered, or disgruntled.
Perhaps the most interesting thing to you was how self-contained the garrison was. Supplies came from the capital regularly, but the garrison otherwise seemed to be run by Alejandro. He oversaw everything, from training to rotations to travel. He didn't seem to need to ask anyone above him for anything, which seemed both curious and, if you were being honest, appealing.
An honest man, with a sense of humor, who treated everyone well and didn't place himself above the others? And one who was also competent and ran his garrison well?
Honestly, you were surprised he didn't have a spouse already.
(He didn't. You knew because you'd caught some of the younger riders gossiping.)
You were, however, surprised when he approached you after breakfast one day. You didn't always sit at his table, only sometimes. Usually when he or Rodolfo flagged you down. This was the first time he had approached you, usually summoning you to his side instead.
“How much work do you have today?” He asked, walking next to you as you put your dirty dishes in the bins.
“Not a lot, nothing urgent,” you responded slowly. You had a custom order you were excited to work on, but that could wait another day. Especially if Alejandro needed you for something.
He flashed a grin at you, nearly making your knees wobble. “So you have time free.”
“I do,” you agreed, eyeing him. “Why?”
“Do you trust me?” He stopped in the hallway, turning fully to face you.
You nodded slowly, looking at him. “I do.”
“Meet me outside in twenty minutes. Wear something warmer.” He held your gaze, magnetic and unavoidable.
“Okay,” you agreed, soft and a little surprised. But you hadn't lied. You did trust him.
At least enough to trust that he wouldn't toss you out of the overlook, or anything like that.
It took very little time to grab a warm coat and gloves, since you weren't exactly sure what you were going to be doing. The walk outside was full of the typical bustle of the garrison - you passed riders going every which way, and as you passed near the kitchen, the chatter and chinking of washing reached your ears.
It was amazing to think about how quickly this had become home to you.
Alejandro stood outside next to Caba, waiting on you, dressed in his riding leathers. You allowed yourself only a moment or two to let your gaze wander over the well-fitted leathers before looking to the dragon instead.
To your surprise, he wore a modified version of his harness.
“We don't need the full harness,” Alejandro said, having correctly guessed your line of thinking from the surprise in your face and the line of your gaze. “Not for this.”
“And what is this?” You asked hesitantly, stopping in front of him.
Alejandro grinned, bright and pleased, with only a little humor. “You said you trust me.”
“I do,” you reiterated, only to squeak when Alejandro grabbed your hand and pulled you to Caba. “What–?”
But Alejandro offered no answer beyond stopping next to Caba, who had obligingly laid down to make his shoulder not entirely out of reach. Alejandro knelt and patted his thigh.
“You can reach the straps to help pull yourself up,” he offered, watching you. “It is easier if you have a boost to start.”
You stared at him for a moment before turning your gaze to the dragon. “What?” You squeaked.
Alejandro did his best not to laugh at you, lips clamped together even as his shoulders shook. “Up you go,” he encouraged, hints of laughter in his voice.
You thought about protesting, but, well. You did trust him. So you took a deep breath and used his proferred thigh as a step up. Your ascent up Caba's shoulder was not graceful, but you also didn't slide back down. You'd take that as a good thing. You felt very high up, sitting on his back as you were.
Alejandro climbed up after you, making it look easy. He sat behind you, his thighs bracketing yours. You swallowed, suddenly quite warm.
“Hold here,” Alejandro murmured, low and close to your ear, reaching past you to pull on a strap. You grabbed it tight, partially to hide the shaking in your fingers. “Don't worry. I won't let you fall.” One of his hands settled at your waist. You sucked in a sharp breath, partially disguised by the sudden movement under you as Caba got to his feet. You rocked with the movement, startled.
Caba didn't give you any time to adjust, though. He just started away from the garrison, using the open flat space to gain some speed. Massive leathery wings snapped out at his sides. You squeezed the strap tighter at the first sweep of those wings, feeling unsteady but for Alejandro's solid presence at your back.
One more downsweep and Caba launched into the air, the pressure pushing you back against Alejandro. He held firm, his grip on your waist reassuring.
Caba leveled out soon after, the pressure easing. Wind whipped in your face, cold but clear. You blinked rapidly as you adjusted, breathing in slowly.
Alejandro squeezed your waist gently, His head close to yours as he shouted to be heard over the wind. “Look now.”
You did, and gasped. From here you could just barely see the coast, blue stretching for miles and miles. The river valley below seemed very far away, though the river sparkled where it came down from the mountains and snaked across the land. You couldn't look down for long, though, before you started to feel dizzy.
But you didn't fear falling. Not with Alejandro pressed up close behind you as he was.
It didn't take long for your nose to go nearly numb, the cold wind seeping your warmth. No wonder the riders all wore leathers and fur up here. Your hands did go numb, fingers still clenched tight around the strap.
“See? Not so bad, hmm?” Alejandro sounded smug, his voice rumbling against your back and in your ear, even as his breath warmed your skin.
You just laughed, leaning back slightly, trusting him to keep you safe.
And he did.
You had no idea how long Caba flew the two of you. But he didn't go far into the valley before turning for the coast, making a big loop. From this height, you could see the town you'd left behind weeks ago, as well as a couple other garrisons, notable from the other dragons in the air. From this height, everything seemed small, even your lingering worries.
Eventually, he angled back towards the garrison, gliding down at a gentle angle. Alejandro's hand at your waist encouraged you to lean back further, your back pressed to his chest, until Caba landed. The big dragon chuffed and continued walking, wings setting against his back again.
You blinked, confused, but Alejandro just chuckled. “You're back early,” he called to someone up ahead, the hand on your waist tightening briefly.
“For once,” another man called back. You spotted a dark-haired man standing up ahead, another scruffier man by his side. Caba stopped a short distance from the two, and Alejandro swung one leg over to face them. He did not get down, however.
“Need a ride back to the capital, then?”
“S'pose so,” the scruffier man answered, gaze on you. “You offering?”
Alejandro chuckled. “I will arrange it,” he said, though you noted he didn't offer to do it himself. “Come inside, have something to eat.”
“Gonna introduce us?” The scruffier one asked, still peering up at you.
“If we see you at dinner.” Alejandro didn't offer anything else as Caba started walking again, leaving the two men behind to make his way back to the cavern entrance.
“Who were they?” You asked, undeniably curious now.
“Nobody of import.” Alejandro waited for Caba to lay down again before he slid down the dragon's side. “Here. I'll help.” He held his hands up to you, watching closely.
You eyed the distance down, biting your lip. He hadn't led you to harm yet. It did take a few moments to unclamp your hands, fingers aching from being locked in position for so long, but then you carefully swung a leg over and slid down. Alejandro caught you, making sure you didn't land too hard and holding you upright when your knees wobbled.
“Alright?” He asked quietly, giving you a quick once-over.
“Yeah.” You smiled up at him. “That was… incredible. Thank you.”
“I will take you as often as you wish.” His smile was smaller than usual but brighter, happier.
“You don't mind?” You couldn't help the note of hesitancy, of shyness.
“Not if it's you.” He leaned closer to you, until you were firmly bracketed between Caba at your back and Alejandro at your front.
Your breath caught in your throat. He was so close and so warm.
Caba rumbled, something you felt more than heard, vibrating against your back. You startled, turning your head to try to figure out what was going on.
Alejandro sighed and backed off. “Sit with me at dinner tonight,” he invited, gently taking hold of your hand, rubbing some of the ache from your fingers.
“Okay,” you agreed, a little dazed still.
He smiled again, that small but sincere smile you were quickly becoming attached to, and took a step back. Another, and he released your hand, and turned to go.
You stood there, needing Caba's silent support, for longer than you wanted to admit.
