My mind is not my own.

No, it belongs to six million other voices—

voices that aren't mine.

A never ending tug-of-war

Was I right? Was I wrong?

No... yes... maybe... think again.

I overanalyze every thought,

Until there are no more fingernails left to bite.

A courtroom rises before me,

Their eyes burn into my skin,

Their whispers echo in my skull.

A million silent judges stare,

Weighing my actions, my thoughts—

No, their thoughts, my actions.

Think. Re-think. Overthink.

No rest, just noise, just endless will.

For my mind is not my own,

It is theirs.

Just as the wood rings portray its' history, These eyes convey the history of my Heart. Isn’t it beautiful how nature dances through all? As if to pose the question: do you see me in you?

I have loved you: this quiet stretch of hills, these hedgerows, heavy with silence, this sky that weeps soft ribbons of gray.

But love cannot hold when the wheel turns, and the cart must leave the lane. The stone walls, lichen-kissed and crooked, know this well—they whisper so to the restless wind.

Still, my heart stumbles. Will the oaks bend lower, seeking my absent touch?

The fields stretch out as though in prayer, their golden stubble catching the last light.

I leave behind my silence, my shape in the long grass, my ache in the air.

Somewhere beyond this, a place waits for my arrival. But here—oh, here!— I will always be someone who never left.

A shared destiny. With silent certainty, death awaits us all. Death’s significance is inherently dissolved by the inevitability of fate’s call. What truly matters? Our relentless search; what we pursue, what we discover. how to heal, how to love, how to grow.   How we Live. We cherish these children, more than anyone will ever know. Their remarkable refusal to go quietly into that good night. Their  fight  for  life. A  fight  in  spite. Imposed by dusk in countless ways, yet fiercely committed to the day’s embrace. When confronted by the silence of twilight, they defy in rage.  The  rage  of  life, To rage against the dying of the light. A blaze to capture moments of peace, play, and joy. Their journey—an innocent and curious endeavour to explore life with an unwavering passion—is perhaps the most profound path one can take. Inconceivable that their spark would fade—freed of wake, into that good night. Our time with them, our time together, is never about an ending. It is always about the odyssey, about discovery, about a child’s everlasting reminder—showing us, imploring us; to rage. Do  not  play  gentle  in  this  fight. Rage. Tend  the  embers  of  their  bright  light. Rage,  rage  and  ignite—

As a self-proclaimed writer I still strongly believe words hold no meaning.

What are words without a tongue to form them? What are words without an emotion to manifest them? What are words without a body to give them meaning?

We can make a word, like love, a word we fear. Context. Often, a common dislike will bring people closer than a common like will. Why do we fear words if we were the ones to give them meaning? Why do we contain our minds?

Why do we bind ourselves to finite words? Why not scream and shout with such energy that even if you don't share a language? You will understand. Because pain is a universal language and we don't need words to express that.

Though we do. This device cannot translate my pain into words. For the shouts are incoherent to one without awareness of their life. I have to translate them. I have to translate from a language without words and without meaning to a language with finite meaning.

That's my art, and it appears that I'm not as good as I've been foretold.

You're struggling with peace

Still, a buzz, deep down, a whisper, a subtle tremor of a dark and hidden voice rakes up the innermost parts of her unfaltering thoughts. It colludes, ever present, but never seen or fully acknowledged. It sends vivid but mysterious dreams that make her gasp in the middle of the night, not with pleasure as she would have loved to, but with malignancy and spite, revenge and grudge. She strives to feel it properly, to face this incubus, to scream at it, to take it by the throat and drown it in the baby blue pool of her newfound peace. 

But this elusive fuck slips through her strive at a formal, yet violent acquaintance. In less than a mere second, the pale sensation that it was ever there fades into oblivion, and she is once again left to ponder if it was even real.

Midnight Serenade

In the stillness of the midnight hour, A quiet symphony begins to flower. Raindrops dance upon the glass, A whispered tale of moments passed.

Cars rush by in a hurried stream, Their distant hum, a transient dream. Moonlight paints the windowsill, A gentle touch, serene and still.

The night unfolds its silver gown, As towns afar in glow are known. A chorus of distant city sounds, A lullaby as the world surrounds.

Each droplet, a story to tell, On the canvas where emotions swell. A tranquil moment, a silent song, In the night where dreams belong.

The roads, like rivers, weave their way, Through city lights in a grand display. Yet here, in quiet solitude, A world of thoughts is gently brewed.

Beyond the glass, a universe untold, Where stories in the night unfold. In the hush of rain and distant gleam, A poet's heart finds its silent dream.
