BASEMENT PROJECT JOURNEY
Hey fellers, been a while since you've heard anything from me huh?
So here's what's going on.
For a very very VERY long time I had the idea of renovating and finishing up my houses basement for me to live in. I live with my mom and aunt who, to be frank, are getting pretty up there in age. I've also took upon myself in the future to take care of these ladies cause like fucking hell I'm putting them in a retirement home to rot away thier remaining years...But that's so far ahead of the future I dont have to worry so much.
What's in the now is this.

You're looking at several dead family members worth of stuff including our stuff that's just been rotting away collecting dust for a decade and a half.

It keeps going on forever and ever. Sisyphus' hoarding stash.
If this stuff can be removed, it's a whole other house down here! Perfect for what's in store for me to make and to invest in. I drool at the thought of having this my dream area. All the projects I have out to the side for years and years cause of being cramped up in my room and not having the motivation cause it feels so constricting. A space where I can proudly display my collection and works for myself to relish in earned achievements.

Well, it's all fine and dandy dreaming of the after when the before is probably hiding a few dead rats that Sherbs hasn't found in this SEVERAL TIMES FLODDED BASMEMENT.
To stop feeling so goddamn frozen by it all, I've felt that it might be pushing myself on the right direction to start blogging my little journey throughout clearing this labyrinth of trash.
This'll be the biggest and hopefully greatest accomplishment I'll ever see in doing. With my health and anxiety being addressed, I have a pretty good mindset on how this will all go down.

what they tell you: this is your original reality. the truth: there’s no original reality. it’s not this, it’s not your dr. there’s not a starting point.
what they tell you: shifting realities is shifting your consciousness to other realities. the truth: you shift your awareness. if you were to shift your consciousness it implies that once you are in your dr your body here doesn’t have consciousness, which goes against everything a living human is.
what they tell you: shifting takes time. the truth: you make your own rules, and there’s not an instruction manual to follow.
what they tell you: once you shift and/or permashift, your version of this reality can’t shift anymore. the truth: you can shift anyway, just to a parallel version of your dr. because every version of you has awareness that can be shifted.
what they tell you: you can’t bring objects from your dr. the truth: you can just shift back to a reality where you have that object.
what they tell you: having multiple s/o is cheating. the truth: this is something between you and you only. you have no right to push your ‘its cheating’ agenda into others, because different realities equals different minds and emotions. so, it’s not cheating.
what they tell you: methods make you shift. the truth: they are just tools that you can or can not use. you are the one shifting, not your methods.
what they tell you: some people can’t shift. the truth: everyone can and everyone is doing it. your thoughts and actions shape reality. of all kinds.
what they tell you: aging yourself up / down is wrong. the truth: in that reality you were always of that age. and your mind is going to have the same mentality of your age.
what they tell you: permashift is not possible. the truth: a reality is not more special then others. even staying here forever can be called permashifting. you can just decide to be aware of your dr forever instead of this.
what they tell you: you have to not care about your cr to shift. the truth: we are not vegetables. you can have all kind of emotions of both your realities and still shift to your dr.
what they tell you: shifting breaks will ruin your process. the truth: shifting is not a process that goes away if you don’t try for more than three months. if you want a break take it.
what they tell you: you can have shifting blockages. the truth: they are not a thing. because you shift your awareness, you can just be aware of you not having so-called blockages. nothing, physicallyc spiritually, mentally, astronomically, can stop you from shifting.
what they tell you: respawning (not remembering this reality) is bad. the truth: it’s not. lmao. it’s not like your body here is going to evaporate.
what they tell you: shifting is complicated. the truth: you can decide how shifting is because you make your own rules. if you want overcomplicate it you can, if you want to oversimplify it you can.
what they tell you: you have to be connected to your dr to shift there. the truth: as long as you are not a bluetooth, it’s not required.

imagine the most natural, no effort, most you way of shifting. is it falling asleep mid scroll, mouth open??? then that’s the one (my personal favorite). it could be laying face down and thinking "lol what if i just wasn't here anymore" and then in an instant you’re aware of something else?? your dr is not gatekeeping. it is not judging you. it doesn’t care if you didn't journal, didn’t meditate and didn’t loop that “magical” subliminal a hundred times. shifting is literally just a doorway that you can walk through whenever you remember is there. and sometimes you don’t even walk, you just trip and fall through it.
you don’t need 24 steps. you don’t need angel numbers, a chakra cleanse, or a ritual sacrifice to the moon. unless you want that. then pop off. nothings needed. it’s a level of effort so low it might be legally considered a nap. so stop auditioning for a process that already picked you. lay down. think your little thoughts...or don’t. you’re doing enough <3

Accepting my sleep schedule. I'm a night owl; I focus at night, I'm calm at night, I'm motivated at night. For a long time, I tried to fight this since everyone always preaches getting up early, but since I started accepting my natural sleep schedule, I've been feeling a lot better and have become way more productive.
"drink more water". TEA. Tea is the secret here. I will be honest, I hate drinking water; it doesn't matter if I have a cute water bottle or a cute glass, I still hate it. TEA.
Replying quickly. I used to be one of those people who get a text message and think, "Oh, I'll reply to that later", and then just forget about it entirely. Now, I text back as soon as I see the message. This has not only improved my texting anxiety (which I cause on my own by now replying and then feeling bad) but also deepened my connection to my friends. <3
Keeping my circle small and being okay with that. Over the past months, I've had this sudden urge to expand my social circle and get to know more and more people, especially after I moved in August. However, this quickly ended in what I like to call my "social burnout". I was tired, annoyed, and overwhelmed. It took a few weeks for it to settle, but I've come to the conclusion that I would much rather have a smaller circle of people who I trust and love deeply than a huge group of friends, and that's totally okay.
Wearing what I like. Even though I live in a big city, I'd still say that my style can sometimes be a bit more extravagant than what most people wear, another point is that I'm very uncomfortable with pants so I only wear skirts, which is also considered a bit odd where I live. But over the past years, I've come to accept that and have become so sure of myself and found such comfort in my style that I now just wear whatever I like, and it makes every day a little bit nicer.
Reading and writing for pleasure. Reading books outside of my studies and spending time researching topics that simply interest me is such a great way to calm your mind. Same for writing, I always like to say that to write is to think; putting your thoughts on paper in cohesive and well-crafted sentences that you can then reread and think over again is such a liberating thing to do.
Reaching out more. fuck the whole "double texting" and "no contact" thing. If you want to speak to someone because they mean something to you, then just do it. Unless they specifically asked for space, you shouldn't feel bad about wanting to be in touch with them. Many even really appreciate it when you show that you truly care. Let's stop the nonchalant act, and instead, let's face deep emotions and true vulnerability. <3
