“When are you guys getting here? The party starts in twenty minutes, and it takes half an hour to get there.”

You heard Nick groan over the receiver as you pulled the final curler from your hair and combed through it.

“We’ll be there soon, Chris just had to choose the most difficult DIY prop for his costume.” Nick said. Before you could even ask what Nick was talking about, chaos ensued. Chris and Nick bickering at each other was nothing new, but over the phone it was almost impossible to understand.

You snorted and told them you’d see them when they got there, though you knew by the time you finished your sentence that they couldn’t hear you. You dropped your phone onto your sink and took a step back, your eyes roaming over your entire outfit to make sure it looked right. You adjusted your skirt and tucked in the back of your shirt, doing a small twirl and shaking your head at how corny you are.

Nancy Wheeler, seemingly an easy character to replicate, but for some reason it still felt cheesy. You’d been a fan of Stranger Things since the first season, and you’d finally gotten over yourself enough to go as her for Halloween. Chris had pestered you to tell him what you were going as, same with Nick and Matt, but you wanted to keep it a secret to save yourself from backing out at the last second if they’d made a joke about it.

The knock on your door made you jump. You sighed and laughed quietly at yourself as you headed towards the door. Another knock sounded just as you twisted the handle.

“I’m coming, Jesus. Hold your hors—”

Your eyes went wide as you met Chris’ eyes, his own face resembling the same amount of shock as yours. Nick’s footsteps were heard coming from behind Chris, but you couldn’t pull your shocked gaze away from him.

“Are we leaving or—no fucking way. Chris, I told you!” Nick exclaimed, turning around and gesturing for Matt to come quicker. “Matt! I was right, they’re fucking matching!”

Chris was standing directly in front of you, dressed as Steve Harrington, the bat thrown over his shoulder. Your face was on fire, your heart racing as you fish-mouthed. You couldn’t possibly go to the party as Steve and Nancy, that would be insinuating that the two of you meant to do this. That would be insinuating that the two of you planned it, to go as a couple.

“I-I can change?” You said, your voice weak. Chris snapped out of his shock and looked down at you, shaking his head.

“What? No, why would you change?” He asked. You noticed the pink tinge to his cheeks almost immediately, which just made your chest ache more.

“I don’t even know.” You said honestly, Chris smiling and looking back.

“We should get going, though.” He said. You nodded and shut your door, locking it and sighing before you turned around and followed them to the car.

The drive was silent apart from the music playing moderately through the speakers. They had been your friends for ages, and the fact that you could all just sit in silence and enjoy each other’s company was perfect, in a sense. You had your feet perched up on the back of Chris’ seat, grateful your skirt was long enough to cover you and that your mother wasn’t there to tell you to sit like a lady, just scrolling through your phone. A text popped up in a banner, and you clicked on it without even seeing who sent it.

You rolled your eyes and shook your head as you typed out a message.

and you make a good steve. how did you manage to hide your costume from me?

The moment the message was sent, you realized you were grinning down at your screen. You quickly schooled your features and looked out the window, watching the sun go down and the street lights glare against the glass. Your phone vibrated in your lap, and you forced yourself to wait a few moments before you picked it up.

chris: i’m stealthy, like a ninja.

A cackle bubbled out of you, your hand slapping over your mouth as your cheeks heated up. You could see Nick glance over at you from your peripheral, his eyebrows furrowed before he looked back at his own screen. You cleared your throat and sat back in your seat, dropping your feet on the floor of the car as you locked your phone and dropped it onto your lap.

The rest of the car ride was silent, your face warm and your heart pounding the moment the four of you pulled up to the party. Chris was by your side in an instant, his arm over your shoulders as the two of you walked into the slightly crowded house.

You couldn’t even remember who was throwing the party, but you were grateful that it wasn’t too crowded, and everyone was friendly. You talked to quite a few people, Chris’ arm never leaving your shoulder as the two of you passed through the house.

“You know.” You said, turning your head to face him. Chris looked down at you with raised eyebrows. “You haven’t let go of me all night.”

Chris smiled down at you and shrugged his shoulders. “I have nothing to say for myself, other than you look great and we match. What’s Steve without his Nancy?” He asked, squeezing your shoulder. You pulled away and stood in front of him, crossing your arms over your chest.

“Why did you dress as Steve?” You asked. Chris frowned at you and sputtered, shaking his head.

“What do you mean? Why wouldn’t I dress as Steve?” He asked his cheeks tinged red as he avoided your gaze. The look on your face when he finally met your eyes again made him sigh and he shrugged.

“God it’s so cheesy, bare with me.” He said. You nodded, waiting patiently for him to go on with a growing smile on your face. “I’ve like, been into you for a while now. And I thought if I went as Steve for Halloween, you’d be impressed. It’s totally fine if you don’t feel the same way, obviously. I just, I don’t even know what I was thinking, actually. Forget I said anyth—”

You rested your hand over his mouth, his eyebrows shooting up as you pulled it away when he stopped talking.

“That was so incredibly fucked up, are you serious?” He asked, a soft laugh leaving your lips as you shook your head and smiled up at him.

“How else was I supposed to get you to shut up long enough for me to say I do feel the same?” You asked, Chris’ shocked face morphing into a fond, shy smile.

“Really?” He asked, his hands coming up from his sides to rest on your waist. You practically beamed at him as you nodded and leaned up on your tiptoes to press a kiss to his cheek. You dropped back down on your heels and took a step back, his hands dropping back to his sides as he looked at you with wide eyes.

“Really. Now, ready to get back to the party?” You asked, turning and walking away. He was soon right by your side, his hand entwining with yours as he tossed the bat over his shoulder.

“I was born ready, Wheeler.”

COSTUMES??!!! COSTUMES BUT OVER THE SUITS.

TRICK OR TREATING Some people stay home at their universe and people portal over for candy and they get to see a glimpse of your universe

Or you get to hop universe to universe dressed like a Spider-person dressed like a giraffe. And since it's Halloween, it's fine if a bunch of Spider-people are running around dressed ridiculous because so is everyone else on most Earth's, Miguel's like 'yeah sure okay'

BIG BONUS POINTS if they dress up like ANOTHER Spider-person but like... Still over the suit.

Like wearing the crappy costume Miles had over your actual suit and 'acting' like someone else.

Because he loves the DIY spirit. And the chance to mock his bosses on company hours.

What's even better is people 'Punkifying' their suit to be like Spider-punk is a popular costume too!!

They throw together their own vest and jeans and jewelry and boots. And follow Hobie around, hands in pockets, and they all act all cool and fake punk all day , Hobie hams up the act for the occasion

Hobie of course weaponizes this by annoying Miguel with his 'clones'.

Sometimes people might wear their makeshift suit over their new suit. So like a Spider-person having this as their costume OVER their suit

And arguably the funniest of them all - having a really elaborate overdone homemade costume of a specific hero on campus, and everyone is like woah so cool have they seen you in it yet?

And you take off the costume mask... And it's just you... AS YOURSELF Like it's just the same mask underneath LIKE A HAT ON A HAT

But the ONLY TWO THINGS YOU CAN'T DRESS AS AT ALL-

Venom and Deadpool.

Venom is too risky. Deadpool is not allowed on campus and if THE REAL ONES seen they have to evacuate and deploy the capture team cause he gets too excited (you'd be surprised of what one man is capable of in the need of Spider-attention)

well, your never came here in the first place. you were just going shopping for items you needed. food and other stuff to live.

you pratically got on your knees, grabbed is pant legs and begged him to go with you to find a costume.

he agreed, upon getting stares and sideeyes from others, but he also went because he loves you.

"oh, don't be like that!" you placed the hat over his head and you grabbed the peach crown.

"look at that! i can finally be your princess~" you bowed, giggling to yourself as the crown almost fell off your head.

he smiled at you, kissing your cheek gently, "you never needed a crown, sweetheart."

Minho said he wanted simple costumes, something he didn’t have to invest too much time or thought into. After shooting down your first few ideas, he suggested going as each other's favorite animals. He chose a cat for you, while you giggled and decided he should go as a fish. Despite the jokes, suppressing giggles as you painted scales on his face and taped fins to his head- he rocked the costume.

The two of you put together an amazing costume. He made a gorgeous prince, matching colors and pretty details with your dress. He helped make sure your crown looked perfect on our head, and you did the same for him. You were probably the cutest couple hanging around, and it seemed you were in competition to compliment and dote on the other all night.

It started as a joke suggestion, which kept going until you were nearly out of time and had no other ideas than to dress up as Bella and Edward; and since Jisung had egged it on so much you made him be Bella while you pulled off your moodiest Edward. Honestly, the two of you killed it and had a ton of fun acting in character at the party.

The two of you went back and forth on who would be which, but ultimately settled on Felix being the angel since he was, as you like to say, the “sunshine of your life.” You were a cute pair at the function, playing the angel and devil on your friend's shoulders and doting on one another through the night.

You were simple people, wanting to take the easiest approach to dress up for a party while still being comfortable. You picked up a cute pair of animal-themed onesies, simple and not too eye-catching but enough to pop into the party for a bit and then go home and enjoy a dreary night in.

so andrei isn’t the kind of guy that needed to have a son, like he would’ve been just as happy with four girls or five girls, but when dimitri is born, he’s really really thrilled

there’s something about being able to pass his name down to his son and get to be a boy dad that’s really special

he has a great bond with all the kids, but you love seeing him with his sons

andrei’s always talking to them about growing up to be good men and respectful of women and people in general

when it’s just dimitri, he and geno joke that they’re gonna get t-shirts for the “svechnikov boys club” and they both love hanging out with their sons - at this point i picture geno with kids too (like a girl and a boy because he doesn’t have the same breeding kink that you and andrei have lol)

then two years later maks joins the party and andrei is just beyond thrilled to have two sons and he wants to make sure that they’re as close as he and geno are but you know you can’t force a brotherly relationship

luckily, they are really really close and it’s adorable to see their little matching blond heads bent together while they conspire against their big sisters

andrei loves taking all the kids onto the hockey rink for skates with dad, but when the boys express interest in playing hockey, you think he’s going to die of excitement

you let him had full run of buying the gear and practicing with them - he’s a little bummed when neither one wants to play forward, but you know it’s probably for the best so that neither is directly compared to andrei or geno

the three of them love to play wrestle when the boys are young and they play floor hockey before playing real hockey

andrei retires when the kids are still young-ish so he brings them to canes’ games at least 2-3 times a month

he’s never missed a school event or a sporting event or major milestone, unless he’s playing an away game and can’t avoid it

they learn how to do diy home projects or work on the cars together

andrei teaches all five kids how to drive because you’re way too nervous to do it and honestly, he’s not the best driver in the world either, so you’re mildly concerned that you’re sending five terrible drivers onto the road, but he does a really good job of it and all five make it their first year of driving without getting any tickets or into any accidents

every year andrei and geno take the the three sons on a week long fishing trip. sometimes igor joins them, but usually it’s just fathers and sons and you always love getting the pictures that andrei sends when one of the boys manages to catch a fish that’s bigger than their whole body

after the week, they all come home dirty and salty and smelling vaguely of fish, but they’re always beaming with happiness and andrei always has this look in his eyes and you know that they’re all going to carry the memories for the rest of their lives

and they do - eventually andrei becomes the grandpa on the trip and dimitri and maks bring their sons on the fishing trip and it’s just really cute all around

when the boys get drafted to different states (and countries, in dimitri’s case) they’re constantly calling and texting andrei for advice and guidance

both boys idolise andrei and geno and look up to them. andrei’s their favorite person in the world and they both just want to do him proud

your greatest achievement is the relationship you both have with all five kids and the fact that they’ve grown up to be generous, respectful, ambitious adults with huge hearts and love for the family - they all call home regularly and travel to see each other and have an amazing bond

he’s also made it clear to all five kids that either one of you will pick them up from any situation, no matter what, no judgement passed. he’s only had to do it once, picking up maks from a party that got out of control through no fault of his own. the kids are generally well behaved and avoid potentially messy situations

importantly, he’s never treated the boys any different from the girls. they’re all loved exactly equally and he’s never shown favoritism to the body simply because they’re boys

He’s the kind of person to smuggle injured animals into his room to nurse back to health.

Cold and aloof, but really well respected by the younger Heath Knights. Sieg takes good care of them because they remind him of you.

Ledea (Mother)

The MC's entire world before she dies. Ledea was worried about bonding with the MC after birth, but when her husband dies, she becomes very protective of them. 

The other boys might have suffered because of that though. 

She was a very attentive and protective mother. She took the MC everywhere she went. 

Became Duchess of Vagnyr after her Father dies in a hunting accident 

Married her long time childhood best friend :) 

Highly artistic and feminine. Alberich takes a lot after her. 

Ledea loves all her children- in her own way. She didn’t(couldn’t) love them equally, however.

Vayne (Father) 

He is dead before the MC is born so there isn’t any strong connection, only a sense of loss for what could have been. 

It’s unknown who was born first between the Twin Princes, but Vayne was a popular successor due to his military record, but people were apprehensive of his more gentle nature. 

Because of his duties as Prince, he was often away from home, but when he was home, he was a very active and present Father for the boys. 

DIY dad that will build you a doll house mansion if you asked nicely with his bare hands. 

He does build an entire birdhouse/flight pen for all the pigeons Sieghardt rescues. Even to this day, those pigeons and their off-spring circle the castle property because of it. 

His children were his life. He would die for them. (And He did.) 

Maeve (Empress)

Regardless of the MCs opinion of her, she does consider them her baby. Ledea can go die in a hole.

What can go wrong when the crazy party aunt becomes your full time guardian?? 

Maeve is very indulgent and will coddle the MC, but she does live by the old ways of tough love.

His Mother, Duchess Thrya gave birth to a bastard shortly after his father died, so he is very-not-okay. 

He lives a very isolated life in his territory.

Soft Sunday: Haikyuu Halloween

With: Tsukki, Daichi, Oikawa, Iwa

Tsukishima will complain every step of the way about wearing a couples costume with you. He acts like it’s the lamest thing in the world as you both get dressed and do your hair and make up for the Halloween Party you’re going to. But as soon as you both arrive at the party, he turns into the most smug guy ever; bragging about how you’re the best dressed couple there, sending judgy looks at people who had clearly costume planned last minute, and making sure he fishes for compliments from everyone since he knows how much thought and work you put into your costumes.

Daichi is more of a homebody for Halloween. To be honest, he’s more of a Christmas guy, but he will make sure to decorate the house for Halloween if it’s important to you. He’s the guy that finds an old werewolf mask and gloves in one of the Halloween boxes and puts it on so he can come up behind you and scare you before pulling the mask off and attacking your face, neck, and shoulder with kisses. He buys an obscene amount of candy in the weeks leading up to Halloween so you two can pass it out to the neighborhood kids together. He will also buy a Halloween costume for your dog.

Oikawa is more of “cutesy” Halloween fan than a “scary” Halloween fan. If he dresses up with you, it’s something simple like a vampire cape or a devil horn headband. I feel like he has a orange seearter with a jack-o-lantern face on it that he loves. He doesn’t like wigs, make up, or fake blood because it’s messy and uncomfortable. He is pretty social, so he will go to a Halloween party if you want to, but he is very much okay with staying in and drinking warm pumpkin drinks, hot apple cider, or hot chocolate. Horror movies make him anxious, but he likes to bake fall treats and eat candy with you. He also likes making DIY Halloween decorations unless it’s too spooky.

Iwaizumi likes Halloween more than he admits. He likes the fall weather leading up to Halloween because he can take you to the cider mill and see you all bundled up and cute. It’s also the perfect chance for him to hold your hand to keep you warm and show off by carrying the heavy bags of apples and large pumpkins you two picked out. He genuinely has fun going on dates to haunted houses or to see scary movies, and the fact that he gets to “protect” you makes it even better. He is all for wearing matching costumes; the scarier the better. He also gets excited about going to theme parks during Halloween season because of the spooky vibes.

Mr.Kabob Man gets the "Lets make this puzzle more logical, instead of extra legwork to pad out game time" treatment. He's not an official mascot with wall art and a catchphrase and stuff, but more a... poor man's last ditch effort, where a worker in hiding made him in an attempt to trick Nabnab into thinking there was another person in the room with them (Nabnab's contract clause being he can only harm sinners when they are alone...It was the BIGGEST "oops, misspoke" contract mistake they ever made).

Unknown if it ever worked for that intended purpose, as the worker is gone, and the DIY arts and crafts man remains... But it gives the Protagonist the idea to use Mr.Kabob Man and a tape recorder in order to trick and lure Tarta out of ambush.

Instead of Mr.Kabob Man...not working without party hats for... some reason... some events get shuffled around a bit. Mr.Kabob Man does his part in letting the Protagonist make their deal with Tarta, and Tamataki & Chamataki pop up as an obstacle on the way to the elevator (Instead of party hats), with Tarta implying that Flynn must have let them onto the upper levels, something he seems...VERY uneasy about for reasons yet unknown to the Protagonist.

So Tarta and the Protagonist work together in the Boss Fight to knock them back down the Abyss, and then continue on to the final chase scene~

...And then nothing.

Most of the demons don't even know who he is, just that standing too long in his presence gradually drives up their anxiety, same as he does to humans, not even they can stand to be around him for too long.

The demons that DO know who he is, will not speak it, and take great care to avoid him all together.

The summoners had no idea WHAT they fished out of that portal...not until it was too late, and Uthman figured out just who he was first, and happily sought to take advantage, rather then take the one opportunity they all had to put the genie back in the bottle.

Chat Noir is many things for her, he's her friend, her partner and she even think that he's a family now by how much he visited her house. He said he was just patrolling but he end up enjoying the dinner in the Dupain-Cheng's table like a house cat that she remembered her father always want to have. It was started once, twice and somehow through the months it become a routine, to the point that she must admit that it feels odd to not have him with them at dinner.

"Noir Dupain-Cheng," Bridgette remembered her father proudly said the future name of the bakery if he decided to marry her which fortunately, he refused. Her father seems to be disappointed but of course Thomas Dupain isn't one that would dwell on disappointment for long (now think again, neither do Chat Noir) and before long, we have gathered at the living room and play games together.

She likes to think that she's already get used to his anticts by now, both as her civilian self of when she suited up.

Boi... How wrong she was.

Because right at her seventeen birthday, he come to her house, screaming 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!' while wearing a high heels boots over a star fish costume and while that alone is already weird enough, the black belt wrapped around his hip(?) make it even weirder that everyone who saw it couldn't help but laugh.

"Can't be helped," Starfish-Noir whispered to her. "Plagg refused to let me suited up but I already promised that I'd come."

She blinked and her mouth was opened and closed repeatedly before realisation came. That was why he came so late, the party has been started for an hour before his arrival and to be honest, she was a bit disappointed when she thought he wouldn't come. He's usually punctual after all.

"So that's why..."

She muttered, relief clear on her tone as she looked up at Starfish-Noir with a small smile. His dedication deserve a lot of praise, really. Because while most people would opt out to not come, he still decided to come with his DIY costume. Although one question remain,

"Why starfish though? You're a cat, not a fish." She whispered back.

"Starfish isn't a fish, mind you." He said and for some reason she could imagined a pout on his face behind that stupid costume. "It's a last minute deal so I need to get what I can get from the store. You know, desperate time called for desperate measure?"

And her laugh erupted right at that moment, she didn't care if people looking at her weird because she had been holding it since his arrival! Fortunately it didn't take her long to finally regain her composure and she quickly hug Starfish-Noir.

"Thank you Chat Noir," she said as she buried her face into the costume. "For coming and being my friend."

"Anything for a friend." He said and she could feel his hand on top of her head, rubbing it to the point it make her ponytail askew. Not that she mind, not when he finally here on her special day.

Jojo's Bizarre little Adventure part 12 Birthday Arc (p3 of 3)

Chapter 12: Party at Apartment 9 & 3/4 (Birthday Arc p3).

“So you just want me to watch them and alert you if they're planning an attack?, ok I'm on it” Koichi hung up his phone and turned to Yukako “hey Jotaro’s daughter called me and asked if I could watch a group of villains to see what they’re up to, do you wanna help?”, Yukako squealed “a spy date, how exciting!”

For most of the decorations that were not DIY, the villains shopped at the local PartyCity, it had tons of stuff. There Santana and Pucci got golden goblets, utensils and plates, chocolate coins and costumes for everyone.

DIO, Karz and Funny all had fun wandering around the store and looking at costumes, props and things, Funny lost his mind over all the napkin options, especially the american flag printed ones, he loved those and almost bought some just for himself. After check out it was back into the car and to the grocery store for the food and craft supplies.

“Koichi it looks like they’re planning a party” Yukako whispered to him as they watched from the next aisle over, “yeah…but what could they be celebrating?”, “I don’t know maybe- oh shit they’re coming this way act casual!” Yukako and Koichi turned away from the band of villains and pretended to be shopping for pasta while listening in on them.

“Ok that’s almost everything on the list, all we need now is the cake” Valentine said as he marked party food off the list, “I’ll call Diego and ask him if he could go down to the bakery Doppio works at and let Mirtillo pick out a cake” Pucci told Valentine as he fished his phone out of his pocket “plus Doppio can use his employee discount”, “that would save us some money, we already spent 236$ on this party” Valentine added as he checked the budget, they only had 150$ left for Mirtillo’s gifts, “it’s a big party, we don’t get to throw a big party like this very often, it’s ok splurge a little” DIO grinned as he loaded a 24 pack of 7up into their minivan, “I agree, it’s been centuries since I’ve been to large celebration” Karz nodded to DIO.

Diego got Pucci’s call and was on his way to the bakery Doppio worked at with Mirtillo to have her pick out what kind of cake flavor she wanted, he put on his green dinosaur hoodie so Mirtillo could hide in his hood and still be able to see things as they walked “how you doing up there funsize?” Diego whispered to her as she peaked out from behind a lock of his saffron yellow hair, “fine, I can see everything from up here!” she squeaked gleefully. 

It was a sunny day and every flower in a ten mile radius was in full bloom, it was hell on Diego’s allergies but pretty none the less, “HEY TRIASSIC TURKEY, WHATCHA' UP TO?” an all too familiar voice cackled, “oh for fuck sake” Diego grumbled “not him, anyone but him”.  Diego carefully tucked Mirtillo into the back of his hood before turning to face him, that insufferable gold-toothed git Gyro Zeppeli, “what do you want?” Diego hissed at him, “nothing I just saw you walking and wondered what you were doing, you don’t really go places by yourself. I always see you with HP or the other morons you live with”  he said flatly. 

Diego rolled his eyes and tried to walk away but Gyro followed him, “so what are ya up to?”, “I'm headed to a bakery where one of my roommates work at to pick out a birthday cake flavor”, “oh cool, who’s birthday is it?” Gyro pestered, “none of your business, you ain't’ invited so you don’t need to know” Diego growled back and bared his fangs, Gyro relented from questioning him any further but followed him to the bakery anyway, he wanted to see if their cannolis were any good.

The Bakery was a cute little place with a pastel yellow and green fairy garden aesthetic to it, it had large windows in the front to show off many delicious confections. Inside was a large counter showing off all the pastries they specialized in, everything from cakes to cookies, pies to cupcakes and macarons were on full display. To top it all off it smelled heavenly in there, the scents of rich chocolates, fresh fruits and imported ripe vanilla beans permeated the air, Diego envied Doppio now, the cheerful dork had the best job ever working here.

“Hey Doppio can I get a sample of some cake flavors?” Diego asked, the bubblegum-pink haired italian looked up from the counter to see his jurassic jockey friend had come in and with him, peeking out behind a lock of his hair was Mirtillo. “Sure Diego, I’ll bring out the list of flavors for you to pick from and bring out a sample for you to try”. 

Diego took a seat at one of the tables facing away from Gyro and looked at the list with Mirtillo, she picked red velvet cake, lemon cake and angel food cake. “I’ve never had cake before, I usually ate honey bread on my birthdays when I lived with my family, does it taste good Mr Diego?” Mirtillo asked him timidly, “yeah it’s really good, you’ll like it” he whispered back, trying not to attract Gyro’s attention. When Doppio arrived with the samples he also brought some frosting flavors to try with them, there was sea salt-caramel cheesecake frosting, white chocolate french-vanilla buttercream and dark chocolate swiss buttercream.

Mirtillo absolutely loved the red velvet and lemon pound cake with a mix of the white chocolate buttercream and cheesecake frostings, “this is amazing! I thought honey was the sweetest thing I’ve ever eaten but this is even better!” Mirtillo whispered enthusiastically. Diego filled out an order for the cake and bought a 6 pack of macarons, each with a different flavor to share with Mirtillo on their walk back home.

Meanwhile Doppio got to work on Mirtillo’s birthday cake, he decided to make it a three layer cake with the top and bottom layers being blue velvet cake instead of red and lemon pound cake in the middle. Inside would be the sea salt-caramel cheesecake frosting with edible blue glitter mixed in and outside the cake would be covered in the white chocolate french-vanilla buttercream. The theme was Harry Potter so Doppio decided to make the cake look like a giant golden snitch complete with wafer paper wings covered in edible gold paint, “ooh this is so pretty! Mirtillo is going to love it!” Doppio grinned.

Diego got another call from Pucci telling him to drop Mirtillo off with Esidise and Wammu while they decorate the apartment as they want Mirtillo to be surprised. Diego headed over to the pillarmen apartment and left Mirtillo with them and said Santana would bring her to the party in about 20 minutes.

When Santana arrived to pick Mirtillo and his fellow pillars up he came dressed as Hagrid and had a strange snow owl with magenta eyes on his shoulder, the owl held a wax-sealed letter in it’s beak that it gave to Mirtillo, letter wished her a happy birthday and inside was instructions to head to platform 9 & ¾, a.k.a their apartment. They walked over and discovered that the front door looked like it had been bricked up but it was actually just a large poster with a cut down the middle and painted to look like bricks, Santana and Mirtillo walked through and entered the apartment.

Inside the apartment was decorated with battery-powered candles and tinny keys with wings on them suspended from the ceiling with translucent wire to give the illusion of levitation, colorful house banners hung from the walls and the coffee table was covered in an array of sweets. There were liquorice sticks, gummy worms, boxes of jelly beans, chocolate frogs and chocolate coins, there was a wooden board covered in all kinds of snacks as well like little broomsticks made of pretzels and string cheese, crackers with little pointy hats on them made of cheese and salami, olives in a bowl labeled “eyes of newt” surrounded by grapes and deviled eggs. A feast was on the dining table as well. There were fries, chicken wings, corn on the cob, sausages, roasted brussel sprouts, garlic bread, macaroni n’ cheese and in the center of it all was the giant golden snitch cake.

All the villains gathered together and shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” to Mirtillo, Diego had turned into Scary Monsters and was wearing fake dragon wings and horns, he blew on a party horn that had red, yellow and orange streamers on it which made him look like a dragon.

Mirtillo squeaked excitedly, she was amazed by everything “this is so cool!” she shouted, Mirtillo watched astounded as the owl that was on Santan’s shoulder transformed into Karz the same way the cat had turned into Mcgonagall, “well what are we all standing around for this is a party is it not?, let’s have some fun!” he announced mirthfully as Valentine turned on the party music.

Mirtillo got to meet some of the friends of the villains, she was introduced to Hol Horse and Vanilla Ice by DIO, Diego showed her to Hotpants and Valentine showed her to Blackmore. All of the party guests enjoyed activities like quidditch but with soda pong (alcohol was not allowed at the party)  and a PG version of cards against humanity. 

The party was great, even Diavolo quite being grumpy and enjoyed it, “now before we sit down for the movie marathon Santana and I created a fun quiz to sort everyone into their hogwarts houses” Pucci said ecstatically as he brought out a chair, witch hat and several hogwarts house themed scarves for everyone, including a tiny hat and tiny scarves for Mirtillo. Mirtillo decided to go last as she wanted to know what everyone’s house would be before her own, Esidisi and Kira were in Ravenclaw with Pucci and Santana. Doppio, Vanilla Ice and Blackmore got Hufflepuff. DIO, Karz, Diego and Diavolo are Slytherins and Hotpants, Wammu, Hol Horse and Valentine got placed in Gryffindor. It was now Mirtillo’s turn, Mirttio was placed on the seat of the chair and the tiny witch hat was gently put on her head, Pucci asked her the quiz questions and she answered each one honestly, “your in…GRYFFINDOR!” Pucci announced happily as he carefully picked her up, gave her a mini red and gold scarf to wear and gave her to Valentine who was absolutely ecstatic. “Alright everyone, movie time!” Pucci said as he brought out his movie collection.

After the marathon all the villains brought out the gifts they got for Mirtillo, they tried to put them in small enough boxes but some were still a bit too big, Pucci’s gift was a hundred color pencil tips and a mini sketch book, DIO got her a bejeweled gold ring to wear as a belt, Doppio gave her a little blue doll dress, and a mini tea set Diavolo didn't bother to get her anything so he gave her a handful of jelly beans, Diego’s gift was a mini coin purse she could use as a backpack, Karz gave her a little pendant necklace with an mini astrantia flower preserved in resin on it, Kira gave her own mini radio and Valentine gave her a mini stuffed toy rabbit that resembled his stand D4C. 

Mirtillo hugged her new stuffed toy and began to cry “my momma made me a toy kinda like this…Sting tore it apart…I..I love this one, he smells so sweet, thank you!” she sobbed, tears of joy running down her face.

“So all they were doing was getting party supplies?” Joseph said while scratching his head, “yep that’s all Yukako and I saw” Koichi replied after taking a sip of soda from his glass, “they said something about someone’s birthday” Yukako added. Jolyne sighed “I guess we overreacted”, “maybe not, I sent Gyro to go bug Diego, that pompous scaly asshole might slip up and tell him something” Johnny interjected, at that moment Gyro walked in caring a large box of cannolis, the confection’s cream filling was smeared across his face, “so you find anything out Gyro?”, “GUMHUGMURUFF”, “don’t talk with your mouth full” Johnny goaned, Gyro swallowed hard with an audible gulp “I got nothing, I followed him to this bakery where he said he was there to try birthday cake flavors and that was it…they make some damn good cannoli there too!” Gyro mused as he ate another. 

Johnny grumbled in frustration, “hello everyone, how are all of you?” Jonathan said as he returned to the apartment “oh Gyro brought cannoli, may I have one?”, Gyro nodded and handed the big Jostar one, “why do all of you look so glum?” Jonathan asked the group, “the villains looked like they were up to something turns out their just throwing a birthday for one of them” Joseph shrugged and grabbed a cannoli, “oh that's odd” Jonathan said raising an eyebrow “I’ve come to know all their birthdays while working at the Library, you half to put your birthday down on the library card application, so far I know none of them have a birthday in july”, Johnny nearly fell out of his wheelchair as he screamed “I KNEW IT, THEY'RE UP TO SOMETHING!”
