Not The Blood Son
Damian is not Bruce Wayne's biological son. A fact that no one was aware of, not even Talia herself.
This was because Ra found the DNA of a being related to the Lazarus pits, and was willing to make a clone for further study; However, he lost the sample. On the other hand, Talia, who was trying to created a kid of her and her beloved used the wrong sample.
Talia never realized this due to Damian's resemblance to Bruce. When Damian got to the mansion, Bruce take Talia's word for it, of course, she ran some blood tests but the computer started crashing at that point, showing the result to be 'similar'. He decided to do new tests later, but that result was enough at the time.
Everything Damian was proud of: his heritage, his own as the only blood son, his right to be "Batman", was gone as soon as his mother revealed the truth. His father, of course, said that he was still his son regardless of blood but Damian was not happy with that.
He was supposed to be different from his brothers, he was supposed to be Batman, but if he wasn't... who was he? What was his true purpose? what was the right path to choose?
Determined to find a new purpose, Damian decided to search for his biological father. Something in which his family offered him support. The problem was that the only information they had came from Ra and one of his former business associates. A certain "Plasmius", Damian's father had no other description beyond "Related to the Lazarus pits"
Danny Fenton, finally out of the hero life, and living with his "cousin" in Amity (and the Infinite Realms) had no idea how much was about to change his quiet retirement life.

Things always go wrong
Pt2 Pt3 Pt4
Danny paced the halls of pariah dark’s castle, well his castle but even after a few years he wasn't used to that, as Frostbite watched in silence. His king isn't usually this restless before a council meeting but his distress was understandable. As his eighteenth birthday approached the council was getting more and more pushy for Danny to take up his role as king. Frostbite had used his leeway to allow the young king time to grow up and in the four years since his first transformation he had only been called to council a handful of times. It was an impressive feat less because they needed a king and more because the observers were anxious to keep the young king on a leash.
This council meeting was called hastily as the anti-ecto laws had been passed recently and the GIW as well as the Fenton parents had become bolder in their pursuit of ghosts. The Fentons had almost captured one of Danny's rogues and it was too close of a call for the council to overlook.
On top of that Dani was supposed to be coming home today. The young clone had taken to traveling the world as soon as she was free to. Her unstable nature had forced her home only a month after departing and it had taken months to convince Danny to let her go off alone again. Her destabilization had been easy to explain, as a clone she had been created without a ghost core and with continual use of her powers and no way to replenish her energy she had used her own body's ectoplasm to feed her powers. Frostbite was unsure if she would ever form her own core as her creation was unique but Danny had pushed. The idea Danny had come up with was to take a piece of his own core and give it to Dani, maybe jump-starting her own core cultivation in the process.
After defeating pariah dark Danny had begun absorbing his core, a way of proving his claim to the throne Frostbite had explained, and with it his own core had almost doubled in power. While unstable itself as it was still settling into its new power, it was possible to take a sliver and still keep the core at a healthy level. If Danny pushed for a bigger piece than strictly necessary, well no one but Frostbite would ever know that.
The council had rioted at another ghost having a piece of the king's core, it was usual for families to share cores in times of need but a king having a royal family was unheard of. Some of the council was against it all together and some were quick to try and coronate Dani a princess. Danny did his best to shield her from the council and made her promise to visit at least once every few months and call weekly. It had been a battle but Dani had accepted conditions as well as a phone Tucker had made for her. Then she was off, traveling the world and bringing back souvenirs and stories.
A couple years had passed like that and they had finally settled into a comfortable rhythm. A rhythm rudely interrupted by Danny’s looming birthday and his parents lack of self control. He was supposed to be at Sam’s house, ready to hug Dani when she arrived and with a whole day of movie marathons and nachos planned. Instead he was stuck pacing his entrance hall as Sam kept him updated on the happenings in the living realm.
“Your majesty,” Frostbite rumbled, “perhaps it is time you enter the council’s chamber. An intermission can only last so long.”
The monarch hummed but didnt stop pacing. Every turn caused his layered cape to billow behind him in a strange way, as if it was floating underwater rather than being manipulated by wind. The king's crown had dulled from a fiery bonfire into a thin misty glow that wrapped in a circle over his head. Jazz would tease him for it, ‘It looks like the aurora borealis, your love of the sky bleeds into everything doesn't it?’ and she was right, though he would never admit it. Even as he combed his hand through his hair and the crown, the misty fire dissipating around his hand before gathering again, it still twinkled as if far away stars were shining in the crowns light.
Danny spared little thought to his regalia as he paced. A wave of dread had come over him midway through the arguing and he had called a pause so they could recollect themselves. He had tried to check in with Sam but she wasn't responding. He had heard nothing from Dani either and something deep within him was screaming something was wrong. He couldn't abandon a council meeting on a hunch and honestly it was one of the few times he didn't want to have to abandon the council meeting. If only because it would mean nothing was wrong.
Dani had had some close calls over the years and while she had really come into her powers she wasn't as strong as Danny and the one time she had been hit by Maddie Fenton still held fresh in Danny’s mind.
His phone buzzed.
Sam had replied.
Eco-Terrorist: We cant find Dani
It was the only message Danny needed before he was off. Ripping a hole in the dimension himself as he crossed back to his preferred plane. He barely noticed Frostbites thoughtful hum as he moved to bring the news of the king's departure to the council.
The precious seconds Danny took to arrive at Sam’s house were spent spiraling as to all the worst things that could have happened. The fear doubled as he stepped through Sam’s wall to find her holding Dani’s phone and pacing herself. Tucker sat at the desk scouring what looked like security cameras on his laptop as Danny popped back into view.
If Sam yelped it was only because she was too stressed to try and cover it up.
“We found her phone in Amity Park, she hadn't been responding and it had been almost an hour since she was supposed to show up.” Sam stressed, she was flexing her hands around the phone.
“Since she usually messages us if she is going to be late we decided to check if everything was alright. When we saw she was in the park and hadnt move in a while. We left immediately.” Tucker added. He had a wobble to his voice and a shine to his eyes. Danny gritted his teeth. “All we found was this.” Sam said as she threw Dani’s phone on the bed as if it had personally been the thing to commit the crime and went back to pacing, flexing her hands in and out of fists.
“Do we have any security footage that might help?” Danny asked.
“Ive been looking but the park doesnt have much cctv except around the perimeter or playground. Its been useless. All Ive seen is the Fenton-mobile.” Tucker paused, Danny could hear him swallow as the same thought passed through all their heads. “You… you dont think…”
“Ill go check the lab.” Danny said before he vanished. Already making his way through town as Sam and Tucker raced to follow him.
It didnt take long for Danny to make it to his house, the ghost shields were down but the Fenton-mobile was nowhere to be seen. It gave Danny little hope but he made his way down to the basement, transforming into his human form just in case. He made his way through his kitchen and down the stairs where he looked into the lab and into his worst fear.
Dani lay still on a metal table, restraints on her arms and legs and waist as a trickle of ectoplasm dripped from her left arm onto the floor. She wasnt even in her ghost form. He jumped the stairs and made it to her in two strides.
“Dani? Can you hear me?” Her head was lolled to the side but her eyes were open, if only barely. She blinked and squirmed slightly, making a grumbling sound before going still again. She was alive, likely drugged, definitely bleeding out. Her arm had a gash in it and two tubes attached to needles lay on the floor beside her. The tubes were tangled and thrown about, as if someone had tripped on them and then let them be. Rage bubbled within Danny but he forced himself to focus. He would not let Dani bleed out because he was too busy seething at his parents. He grabbed whatever he could use as medical supplies and wrapped Dani’s arm before trying to break her restraint.
Electricity coursed through him and he cursed. Refusing to let panic take over he turned to his parents computer instead. There had to be something that could undo the restraints and regardless he had to wipe whatever information they had on Dani. What he found was a conversation log of Maddie Fenton and an Agent W discussing payment and proper handover specifications for a ‘perfect specimen’ Maddie had found. The money was staggering and Danny’s rage almost made him crush the mouse he was holding.
At one point, Sam had offered up the idea of destroying the lab and joining Jazz at Gotham U where she had chosen to go for college. They had toyed with the idea, saying it was for the future or it was a last resort, but ultimately never gone through with it. It was a bad idea to drag a meta equivalent to Gotham and in all honesty, Danny wasnt comfortable leaving Amity. He hated leaving the town limits even if necessary, he couldnt imagine choosing to live somewhere else. But right now, staring at his bleary, injured, unstable sister, he decided he would have to.
His rogues would be pissed and he didnt really have a solid plan but he refused to let this happen again. To anyone.
It was little hassle to find the unlock to the restraints and erase the computer completely. His parents didn't trust the cloud and the physical copies they had would be lost in the fire. Tucker had copies of everything anyway. Dani moved to sit up but really only managed to roll off the table. Danny caught and he shared some of his ectoplasm to try and help her heal. It wasnt much but she started to regain lucidity.
“Danny?” she whispered and Danny hummed in response. Their cores hummed at each other, the harmony encouraging her healing. A boom rattled the building, it was far away but it snapped Danny back to the present. They didnt have time to sit there, he didnt know when his parents would be back and he needed to leave.
He laid Dani on the floor as he went around and dismantled as many things as he could, leaving the vulnerable pieces in the open. Finally he turned to take the ectoplasm filter that powered the entire house. When he ripped it off its mantle alarms started blaring and he turned and grabbed Dani, hauling her up into his arms as he ran up the stairs. He heard her giggle something about bumpy rides and he was out the door and barrelling towards his beat up car parked across the street.
Jazz had given it to him for his sixteenth birthday. Apparently she had originally planned to buy it for herself for her move to Gotham but Sam had managed to convince her parents to buy Jazz a brand new car. Something about the public transportation system being dangerous and it being the first thing Sam had asked for that had been manageable. It was beat up and an old red but Danny loved the car and used it often. He worried he would have had to keep his parents away from it, in case they try and ghost proof it but they never even noticed it. He parked it across the street and they just assumed it was the neighbors. No one had lived in the houses around them for years.
He shoved Dani into the passenger side before hoping the hood and sliding into the drivers seat. He didnt know he could do that.
Shoving his key into the ignition the engine roared to life. He managed to get down the street before his house exploded. The shockwave sent the car forward and he managed to catch Dani’s head before it met the dash. His windows rattled but none of them broke, a small victory he thought.
His mind flashed to all the things he had had in his room, his home. His memories, his souvenirs from Dani, all his space and nasa memorabilia, all his clothes and any pictures he thought were important. His family, his friends, his school, his only solid portal to the Infinite Realm.
His emergency supplies.
“Fuck.” he whispered as he kept driving. Dani giggled and said something like ‘language’ but Danny was too busy swerving through traffic to hear her. His phone buzzed and he jolted, he maneuvered to pull it from his pocket as he tried to check it only to barely miss an oncoming car and drop it into the footwell of Dani’s seat. He cursed again and kept driving. He wasnt going to stop until he was well and out of Amity. He focused on driving and harmonizing with Dani as he drove.
As they raced across Amity his core began to pulse with panic. The lingering pain from losing his home exploding into waves of fear.
He wasnt stopping. The pulsing grew more intense and Dani whimpered in her sleep. He tried to calm down but something felt so intrinsically wrong with leaving and his core felt like it was going to burst.
The pressure grew as they got closer and closer to Amity’s border and as they crossed it something in Danny popped.
He almost blacked out from the pain. The car swerving as he tried to regain control of himself. Something had broken and it felt like he was tilted on an axis. He could barely see and was forced to pull over. His breathes came in short painful gasps and he bit back a scream. He was trying to ride through the pain when his phone rang. Grasping for it he picked up and brought it to his ear.
“Danny? We saw the explosion, are you ok? Did you find Dani?” Sam said, crackling over the phone.
“Mhm. Dani is with me. We are going to Gotham.” Pain cracked his voice as he struggled to breathe. “ ‘s not safe. Need Jazz.” Was all he could manage before he was heaving.
“Danny! Stay where you are. We have ectoshots with us and we can-” Sam was cut off by an explosion behind Danny’s car. He whipped around to see a white van crashing through traffic. Danny slammed his foot on the gas and turned back to the road. The pain in his chest dulled as his desperation to protect Dani slammed back in full force.
“Meet. In. Gotham.” Was all he could growl before he hung up the phone and drove in what he hoped was the direction north east.

Superpham AU (part 6)
Masterpost
Lois prides herself at being good at rolling with the unexpected. Unfortunately, all of her experience with aliens and supervillains and magic has not prepared her for Danny.
Danny has a disconcerting habit of dropping disturbing or traumatizing information in an off-hand way, seeming to not even realize the implications of his own words. It started with what he said about the dimension he'd grown up in discriminating against people with powers, then with what he'd said about the red son and the lack of superheroes, but it just keeps happening.
Lois tries not to call attention to it, because she prefers it to the alternative, which is Danny shutting himself up in his room and refusing to talk to any of them.
Lex Luthor is on the nightly news-- as he so often is-- and Lois has to explain the man's many crimes to Danny. (No, Jon, it is not a rant.)
"Oh," Danny says. "He sounds like Vlad."
"Vlad?" Lois asks.
"Yeah, Vlad Masters. He's my godfather. He's a total fruitloop who wanted to marry my mom and make me his son."
Lois carefully does not react. She wants Danny to tell her things. She wants to know what his life was like when she wasn't in it. "That sounds..."
"Yeah, he tried to clone me. Well, I guess he succeeded, but none of them were stable except for Ellie, and she wasn't really that stable to begin with."
"Ellie?"
"Yeah, short for Danielle. She went by Dani-with-an-I for a while, but she decided she wanted her own name."
That is not the part Lois was looking for clarification on. She goes with it anyway. "Tell me about her," Lois says, and tries not to be concerned about Danny’s descriptions of a teenage girl who apparently lives and travels on her own because she doesn't like to be stuck in one place. Ellie doesn't even get the full benefit of being quarter Kryptonian, living in a world with a red sun.
The four of them are sitting down to dinner-- pizza again; one of them should probably cook sometime this week, but Lois and Clark are both on deadlines-- when Clark asks Danny more about his adoptive family, the ones he grew up with.
He looks sad, the way he always does whenever his adoptive parents come up.   Lois can hardly blame him, when he lost them in such a sudden and traumatic way.
"They're scientists," Danny says.  "Or they were.  They studied, um, the Ghost Zone and the things that live there.  They didn't really understand it at first-- they thought all the-- um, everything from there was evil and needed to be killed, but they learned they were wrong eventually."
Lois meets Clark's eyes and knows he is as concerned about what happened before that 'eventually' as she is.  Still, neither of them comment, not wanting Danny to clam up again..
Jon, however, has no such reservations.  "That's really messed up."
Danny shrugs.  "Yeah, kind of.  They came around, though.  And I think they blamed themselves for how bad the GIW got because they were the ones who designed the weapons."
"The GIW?" Lois asks, instead of what she really wants to know, which is: Your adoptive parents designed weapons to be used against beings from another dimension??? Did they know what you were?
"Guys in White," Danny says.  "I don't think that was their real name, but they were from the government."
"Your parents built weapons for them?" Clark asks, his tone deceptively light.  "I thought they were scientists."
"They dabbled in a lot of things.  But they were fantastic engineers."  Danny segues into a story about some of the modifications his adoptive parents made to their car, which is a topic only slightly better for Lois's heart.
Later that night, Lois is sitting in bed, checking her emails on her phone, when Clark sits down next to her and turns on the white noise machine they keep on the nightstand.  (It's the only way to have private conversations when your child-- children-- have super-hearing.)
"I'm concerned about Danny," he says.
"No shit."  The more Danny tells them about the dimension he grew up in, the more Lois hates it.  "But there's nothing we can do now except be there for him."
"I know people who have traveled across dimensions, you know," Clark says.  "I could always ask for a favor."
"You won't," Lois says.  "Because if you do, I'm going to end up committing felonies in another dimension."
Clark smiles humorlessly. "What makes you think I wouldn't be there with you?"
"Because you're a better person than I am."  Clark never believes her when she says that, but it's true.  Clark is a fundamentally good person.  Lois tries to be a good person, but there's a reason she's not a superhero.
-----
Kon intended to stop by Metropolis several days ago.  Or at least call Clark back.  But he’d gotten sidetracked by an earthquake in Southeast Asia, and then by Dr Light causing problems in California.
He gets a few hours of sleep back in Smallville, then remembers that he’d planned on dropping by Metropolis and meeting Danny days before.  He walks the last few blocks to Lois and Clark’s house— flying would be way too noticeable in their neighborhood— and lets himself in.  He walks up to the living room and spots Lois there, furiously typing on her laptop.
Kon is man enough to admit, at least within his own head, that Lois kind of intimidates him. Sure, Clark is physically stronger, but there’s an intensity to Lois that Clark lacks.  She glances up at Kon, and even though she’s smiling, he still feels pinned under her gaze.
Kon shifts uncomfortably, reminds himself that unless he turns into a corrupt businessman or something, he’s not actually in danger from Lois Lane.
“You here to see Danny?” she asks.
“Yeah.”  Kon shoves his hands in his jacket pockets.  “I figured I should probably meet him.”
“He’s in his room,” Lois says.  “He’s not… It’s not a good day, but maybe he’ll talk to you.  He hasn’t exactly gotten the chance to be around anyone his own age since he showed up.”
Kon knocks on the door to Danny’s room.
“Come in,” a voice calls from inside.
Kon’s first thought is that he looks more like Clark than Danny does.  Stupid; of course he does.  He’s Clark’s clone.  But then, Jon resembles Clark almost as strongly as Kon does, so maybe it wasn’t a completely stupid thought.
Danny is sprawled on his stomach across his bed, phone in his hand.  There’s a video playing on it— someone talking about the history of the Justice League— but he’s ignoring it, watching Kon with a wary expression.  The room is still as bland as it ever was; other than the clothes tossed haphazardly on the floor, there’s no sign a teenage boy lives here.
“I’m guessing you’re Kon?”
“That’s me.”  They stare at each other awkwardly for a moment.
“Have you actually seen any of Metropolis, or have you just been hanging out in here?” Kon asks.
“Lois took me shopping for some stuff,” Danny says.
“Okay, no,” Kon says.  “You have got to get out of this house.”
“You don’t even live in Metropolis,” Danny says.
Kon shrugs. “Doesn’t matter; I’ve spent more time here than you.” There’s an old-school arcade he’s been to a handful of times, and a couple of places to eat.  Anything has got to be better than Danny hanging out and brooding in this sad bedroom by himself.
It's a warm day outside.  The sun shines down on the two of them as they walk in near-silence toward downtown.  The awkward silence doesn't quite break until they're at the arcade, competing on an old racing game.
"I don't think we have this one in my dimension.  The other dimension.  Whatever."  Danny says.
"Yeah?"  Kon speeds ahead of Danny in the game, just in time to cross the finish line.  Danny groans.
"Yeah, but this world doesn't seem to have Doomed, either," Danny says as they start another race.  "There's a lot of little differences like that."
"That's gotta be weird," Kon says.
"Yeah, Clark kind of freaked out when I told him the sun there was red."
Yeah, Kon can see why.  They talk more as they play more video games, and Danny tells Kon about his friends and what they'd do when they were hanging out in his hometown of Amity Park.  The main people he talks about are his best friends, Sam and Tucker, and his older sister, Jazz, but he mentions a few others.
"Wait, who is Ellie again?" Kon asks, after Danny shares a story about a prank she pulled on another kid at Danny's school.  They've left the arcade, and are hanging out at the diner a few blocks away.  It's not the coolest place-- in fact, it looks like a grandmother decorated it-- but Clark introduced Kon to it, and it has great food.
"Oh, I didn't tell you?" Danny asks.  "She's my clone."
Kon chokes a little on his soda.  "You have a clone?"
-----
Danny is probably being paranoid.
Scratch that, he's definitely being paranoid. Lois and Clark have been nothing but nice, and they're clearly used to weird things happening. Like, even aside from the whole alien superhero thing, Lois just saw a kid fall out of a portal and decided to help?  Plus, Clark is an actual superhero.
Even his— the Fentons came around on the whole “ghost powers” thing.  Eventually.  But he’s gotten used to hiding, to trying to blend in.
(And what had them accepting him done for them in the end?  They’re dead, the GIW killed them.)
He’d rather hide than suddenly discover that Lois and Clark aren’t cool with their long-lost son being half dead.
Some of his powers he can pass off as Kryptonian— super strength, flight, enhanced senses.  He knows Lois saw his ghost form, and though she hasn’t asked about it, he’s pretty sure it’s just a matter of time.
These thoughts circle through his mind over and over, only leaving him temporarily when he’s hanging out with the Lane-Kents.
His bio family.
That’s not much better, though; there’s a sadness in Lois and Clark’s eyes whenever they look at him, although they try to hide it.  Jon just a kid, and clearly doesn’t know what to make of the whole situation.  Lois keeps saying they are going to introduce him to more people, especially people his own age, but Danny shies away from that.  He doesn’t want to meet more people.  He doesn’t want to get comfortable here.
Still, he’s glad he came out with Kon.  An afternoon of videogames and greasy food hasn’t solved any of his problems, but it’s a nice break, and Kon has already promised to introduce Danny to his friends— a whole team of teenage superheroes.
“I can’t get over how many heroes there are here,” Danny says.  “Like, why do you even need that many?”  Sure, it would have been nice to have some more backup when he was Phantom, but in this world there seems to be at least one superhero for every major city, plus some extra.
Kon shrugs. “Natural disasters, alien invasions, supervillains, street crime… No one can handle all of it.”
Out of all the things he’s encountered so far in this dimension, this might be Danny’s favorite.  Even more than the proven existence of aliens.  Back home, Amity Park needed Phantom, even if they hated him.  But the world here doesn’t need Phantom.
It’s kind of freeing, and Danny hates it.  He doesn’t want to like anything about this dimension more than his own.
Would it really be that bad?  You might be stuck here forever, a little voice inside his head whispers.
He ignores it.

A Song of heart and blood - part one | Daemon Targaryen x Targaryen!Reader
Summary: After an horrible prophetical dream, you find yourself traveling through time to try and save your sister, Daenerys, from her fatal ascension to the Iron Throne. During your mission, your heart derives you from your duty and you fall in love with your ancestor
Word count: 2.3k
masterpost
A/N: The time-traveling part was heavily inspired by Outlander
Tumblr media
-
While most of Valerian descent are born dragonriders, very few have been dreamers.
The first known dreamer had been Daenys Targaryen, known as 'the Dreamer'. She had foreseen the Doom of Valyria in a dream twelve years before it happened, causing her father to relocate the family and its dragons to Dragonstone, thus securing House Targaryen's future as the last known dragonlord family in the world and the rulers of the Seven Kingdoms.
Then, Aegon I Targaryen, Viserys I Targaryen, Helaena Targaryen, Daemon II Blackfyre...and you.
The castle in King's Landing was completely destroyed, except for the Iron Throne. Your sister, Daenerys, was walking toward it, the new queen of the Seven Kingdoms. She touched the throne, a faint smile curling on her lips. Behind her, a man with dark hair had entered the room. They began talking – arguing – about some matter you couldn't hear. A kiss was shared and, as the two kissed, the man stabbed her in her heart with his dagger.
Had you told Dany about your dream, she would've laughed and said it was just that: a dream. Deep down, you could feel that it was something more. A dragon dream, as they call it in the books. A prophecy.
You had to do something to prevent your sister's tragic end. Talking her down to go after the Iron Throne was a losing battle. Dany was strong-headed; she would never accept to give up what was rightfully hers, even if you told her about your dream.
She didn't believe in that sort of thing, anyway.
The days following your dream, you found yourself in your head a lot. You couldn't look at your sister without seeing the blood leaking from her mouth and nose after that man had assassinated her. It had become difficult to close an eye at night, knowing what would happen to her in the end.
You had to do something.
A few days later, you packed your bag and went on your own to know more about prophecies. Leaving her with the Dothrakis worried you, but Ser Jorah had sworn protection to her. He'll keep her safe while you'll be gone.
*
After seven moons doing some heavy research away in the Free Cities, you found a woman of old age who knew about Dreamers and prophecies. She told you the only way to keep a foretelling event from happening was to fix the mistakes that led to it – albeit it being close to impossible. Prophecies always find a way to come to pass.
''Time traveling?'' you repeated with a doubtful furrow of your eyebrows.
The woman nodded. ''There is this old tale about a High Priestess who practiced different sorts of sorcery using the power of R'hllor. According to the tale, she has revived a man who had been stabbed enough times to empty himself of his blood, and knew details only someone who had lived in the past could know of. She is rumored to have lived hundreds of years, all thanks to her magic.''
''How may I find her?''
''Unfortunately, the High Priestess has been burned to the stake many decades ago, but her grimoire has not been found. She lived in a crept in Volantis, where I assume her grimoire still is. You might find what you need in it.''
''Would it save my sister? Going back in time.''
''Possibly.'' The woman
''You got to find the exact moment, the trigger time-stamp that started the downfall of the Targaryen dynasty.''
Was she talking about your father's descent into insanity? Had he not been held prisoner for half a year by a rebellious lord, perhaps he would not have let his paranoia cloud his judgment or let his cruelty grow. Perhaps Ser Jamie Lannister, a member of his own Kingsguard, would not have killed him.
Unless the prophecy went back longer ago? When did House Targaryen begin losing its power?
According to Maester Yandel, the biggest losses of House Targaryen happened during the Dance of Dragons, a major civil war in the history of the Seven Kingdoms. It destroyed many cadet and lesser branches of the Targaryen family - thinning the Targaryen bloodline –, and also eliminated almost all of the surviving dragons at the time – seventeen dragons died during the Dance.
Had the Dance not happened, had Aegon II not been born, it would've made a massive difference in the future of House
''Before you go searching for the grimoire, I shall warn you my lady: any minor change can have a ripple effect that could harm innocent bystanders.''
*
The crypt had taken you weeks to locate.
Each page of the grimoire was made of human skin and written with blood. It was quite gnarly to touch - or smell. The spelling was difficult to decipher. No offense to the High Priestess, but her handwriting was not the greatest. Some of the pages were in High Valyrian – which must've been the High Priestess's first language. Fortunately, you had been taught the language growing up.
Inside, you came across resurrecting spells and fertilization rituals, a handful of curses and poisonous brews, and a time-traveling ritual. They were all using blood magic, which was one of the most dangerous magic, but after seeing your sister ascending her rightful title as queen, to then be killed by her lover – which was somehow not Khal Drogo –, you were willing to risk the danger and consequences of blood magic.
The ritual sounded complex, but was relatively simple. You'll need a gemstone, fire and blood – and a solstice in a specific location. Fortunately for you, the summer solstice was only a moon away. You also needed an object that belonged to the time you wanted to go back to. The dragonglass dagger in your bag will be perfect. It had been given to the princess Rhaenyra by Viserys himself while he was king.
On the week of the Solstice, you began your journey to the ancient stone circle located on a mountain in Volantis. According to the grimoire, one of the stones was large and cleft, through which a time traveler may pass.
Come the Solstice, you waited until the moon was at its highest and started a small fire in the middle of the stone circle while reading a few High Valerian lines. You then added a few drops of your blood to the fire and threw the dragonglass dagger – the fire crackled and the flame grew in height, almost touching your forehead.
You immediately stepped back, startled. This was your first time dabbling in magic. You didn't know fire could be so powerful.
Lastly, you walked up to the large cleft stone, pressed your palm against the cleft.
*
Approximately 170 years before your birth
Since your arrival in King’s Landing, you have tried to be discreet and keep to yourself as much as possible.
As the woman of old age warned you, time-traveling was delicate. Each change – even the smallest – will have a direct effect on the future. A sliver of change done wrong, and the whole future could take a turn for the worse, the Targaryen lineage could be extinct sooner. You and your sister could…not exist.
All you needed to do was prevent Aegon II from being born. That alone should have a huge impact on the Targaryen dynasty – on the future.
You had no idea how you would execute your plan. From what you knew, the queen was expecting and the babe would be born in a couple of weeks from now. That didn't leave you a lot of time. The main issue was, Queen Alicent lived in the Red Keep and there was no way you could sneak in unnoticed. There were guards all around the castle. One was probably posted at the door of her chamber for extra safety.
Every time you took a stroll in the city, you were pestered by sellers. Seafood when in Fishmonger's Square, brewers in Dragon Square, baked goods on the Street of Flour. Everything looked delicious, but the coins in your pocket couldn't be spent on treats.
A brewer was being insistent tonight, trying to get you to try his liquor. You shook your head, politely declining. The bearded man was not taking no for an answer, claiming you must have coins on you because of the jewel around your neck.
The small quarrel grew in volume, catching some citizens' attention, notably a man in a hooded cloak. You wanted to run, but when you took a quick look around to evaluate your options, you caught the man with the hooded cloak's eyes. His eyes were purple and, under his large hood, you saw a glimpse of his silver hair. He was a Targaryen.
When you teleported through the stones, you vowed to yourself to minimize your social interactions and to not directly interact with any of your ancestors to not disrupt the future in times where it wasn't necessary.
You recognized him as Daemon, also known as the Rogue Prince. His dark gray hooded cloak was doing a mediocre job at shielding his identity – at least from the front. Or, perhaps you were just too good at recognizing those who shared your blood.
‘’The woman seems not to be interested.’’
Daemon’s voice cut the brewer's word spitting, making the bearded man raise his head in his direction. Although there was no threat in the prince's words, his tone itself held an authority. It felt commanding.
Had he been a regular man of the city, you would've thanked him. Instead, you ran off.
You didn’t want to be impolite, or come off as not thankful – you were thankful for him stepping in. Without him, the brewer would probably still be pressuring you to buy his liquor. You needed to remain unnoticed during your travels. Thanking Daemon would’ve broken your rule.
You took a left on the Street of Silk and felt eyes on your back. Had the bearded man followed you? No. It was unlikely. After Daemon’s interruption, he had to have given up. Someone was following you, though.
You snaked through the bodies and ran as fast as your legs allowed you.
A few buildings down, the street was splitting. You took another left and hid inside the closest building, which turned out to be a pleasure house – a brothel – , of all places. Just like the streets, it was packed.
You had never been to one of these places before. There wasn’t any around where you grew up. It was…was…uncomfortable. There were naked people – men and women – all around; some were dancing sexually, some were moaning and performing sexual acts of all genres.
‘’Silver hair are difficult to hide, are they?’’
You whirled around and came face to face with the Rogue Prince himself. His hood was still on, but his eyes bore right into yours. Just like yours, they were a shade of purple. His were a lighter color, but no less piercing.
He reached out to twirl a piece of your hair between his fingers, a frown settling between his eyebrows. Your alluring beauty, long and braided silver hair and the Valyrian steel necklace around your neck – a piece of jewelry that once belonged to your mother – were a straight-teller of your Targaryen roots.
‘’Where did you get this?’’ His eyes fixated the jewelry, as if he had seen it before.
‘’My mother.’’
''Valyrian steel, right?’’ You nodded. ‘’I brought the same one to my niece two years ago. I was told there was only one.’’
‘’Perhaps the person you bought it from was mistaken – or they lied to you.’’
Daemon looked at you with wary eyes. ‘’Who are you?’’
The dreaded question. You gulped, nervousness bubbling in your stomach as you tried to think of a quick fake-name. Using Targaryen in this era would stir too many questions.
‘’Y/N. Y/N…Stormborn, my Prince.’’
The last words felt strange on your tongue. It was the proper way to address him, though.
‘’Stormborn?’’ Daemon’s frown deepened, the name unfamiliar. In fact, it was the first time he heard it. ‘’I’ve never heard. Although, you must be of Valyrian blood. Only those with Valyrian blood have silver hair.’’
You shrugged, playing your part. ‘’I would not know. My father lost his life in battle and my mother died during childbirth. I was raised by my brother in Essos.’’
That part wasn’t all false. You only omitted small details…like your father being the Mad King and escaping to Essos after your birth so you, Daenerys and Viserys – your brother –’s lives would be spared.
The man before you hummed. He didn’t know if you were bullshitting him or telling the truth, but he’ll take your words for now.
‘’Have you ever been in Essos, my Prince?‘’ you asked.
The prince didn't get to answer you. Behind you, one of the curtains lining the hallway opened and a drunk man got thrown out of the private room, his erected cock out in the open. A naked woman – assumingly a working whore from the brothel – followed and threw his pants and tunic at him.
‘’No money, no fucking,’’ she spat at him, then walked off.
He bent down to pick up his clothes and tipped forward, visibly too drunk to have any sense of balance, and limply falling against you. His heavy, dead weight caused you to fall forward, your hand reaching for something to grab onto but only finding air.
In good reflex, Daemon firmly gripped your arm, catching you before your face would meet the filthy floor and pulled you against him in a knightly gesture. You ended up with your face in the prince’s chest, the mix of sandalwood, pine and a tinge of red wine seeping through your nose and invading your senses. Gods, he smelled nice.
Had he not been your great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, perhaps you would have taken advantage of the close proximity and stayed there a little longer.
A light flush creeped to your cheeks and you pulled away. ‘’My apologies.‘’

Danny Punches a Clown Part 10
Masterpost
Danny has been living with the Waynes for a few months now. He's never had people like them in his life. He has told them everything. They know all about him, and his ghost half. And they understand.
Well, as best as they can. They understand what life was like for him trying to juggle a school and vigilante life. They understand what it was like to be hiding a secret part of themselves. Jason and Damian both understand having died before. They all have trauma that they're dealing with too.
They were all too happy that he didn't actually want to be a vigilante anymore. Alfred almost cried at the news. But he was the one that opened the ghost portal in the first place. It was his fault there was anything to fight. He had to take responsibility. He needed to try to clean up his mess and fix his mistake. Nobody else should have to get hurt fighting the ghosts he opened the door for. He fought because it was his responsibility, and because he was the only one who could when the ghosts first arrived. Before his parents made weapons that worked, he was the only one who could fight the ghosts at all. Once they had, he was the only one who could fight the stronger ghosts. He was still the only one with a built-in sense to tell that there are ghosts around, hiding or overshadowing others.
They don't have any of those problems here. Of course, they still have problems, but this world has whole teams of heroes to protect them. Gotham alone has all the bats and birds. The whole family of archers in Star city, the supers in Metropolis, the flashes, and green lanterns. The Justice League, Justice League Dark, and the younger teams: Teen Titans, Young Justice, this world is not short on people willing to protect it.
And Tim said that if he needed to indulge, he would sneak him into the Watchtower. Danny has the time of his life whenever he's able to go up there. He got to meet actual aliens! A Martian! And a Kryptonian, which he had never heard of before, but it turns out that he can speak Kryptonian and Martian since they're both technically dead languages. Danny was really sad to learn about that, but John and Clark love speaking to him, so he actually gets to talk to them a lot!
Danny does miss his old dimension. He misses Jazz, but knows she was at college, and without him there she was free to leave their parents behind. She could stop coming back and worrying for him. Dani was traveling, happy as she could be. Sam and Tucker knew to try and destroy the ghost portal if he ever disappeared, so the town should be safe without him there. And while he knows they probably mourned him; Danny knows it's better this way. They couldn't all come with him to the new dimension, and without a portal he doesn't have a consistent way back to his old home.
And he couldn't stay there anymore. He couldn't live with the constant fights and threats from all directions. Hearing the terrible things his parents wanted to do to him. Trying to avoid Vlad and his schemes.
He has a home here, one that doesn't try to kill him. He's able to eat without worrying about his food coming to life. He's able to go out and meet friends without worrying that he'll have to fight a ghost. He never wanted to fight.
He knows this city isn't perfect. But he has an amazing family that fights for him.
Danny just wanted peace. Now he has that.

Sleep deprived danny and dani
So dani was coming to visit danny, and it was going good
Until a new threat interrupted them
Danny wanted to deal with it on his own but dani after traveling for so long had developed some new powers and skills she wanted to show off so she pestered danny until he agreed
Now the threat wasn't strong, either of them could have taken him out, buuuuuut he had a artefact that could travel the infinite realms
Now even if the threat is outside of amity park they cant just let an artefact like that still be in his possession
And because of the time difference between the infinite realms while there only gone an hour in amity park, for danny and dani they've been chasing this fucker for a week straight
So after a week the asshole finally stops in this 1 universe and has been there for a while (they've given up on time awareness) (the guys been there for a month)
So they open a portal, beat she shit out of the guy for making them chase him like scooby doo and take back the artefact
However it was after that they saw where they were, it was a weird room with the "we love spandex club" in it and on the other side there were fruitloops who called themselves "the light"
Danny and dani look at eachother, dani makes sure they have the artefact and danny puts the guy they were chasing in soup time to interrogate later
They open a portal and leave for the sweet release of sleep
.
.
.
The light and the Justiase league are confused
They were trying to come to an agreement on something when a Lazarus pit opened and 2 white haired children came out
Klarion only got out the words "oh shit" before the twins proceded to beat the living shit out of him
They took an artefact that klarion had recently got, and they locked him in a ...thermos?
Before leaving

Hc where Vlad genuinely loves Christmas.
Like, it's not even to drive Danny up the walls for his hatred of it, bro just genuinely loves Christmas. It's how that even someone like Vlad could stand by and not break the Christmas truce despite his personality.
The one day a year where Danny gets left alone before Vlad somehow, someway, got redeemed and became an ok-ish guy.
Danny, genuinely, thought it was because Vlad being the careful fruitloop he is, doesn't want to get dogpiled like Ghost Writer did when he, himself, broke the Christmas Truce.
But no, biggest reason is that he genuinely loves Christmas.
Unfortunately, Vlad has no one to celebrate with.
So, he celebrates with himself, using his many duplicates of course!
Danny finds out when he encounters one of his many duplicates trying to buy gifts for himself, Danny sees it as very sad honestly when he found out, but was he going to do anything about it?
No.
Vlad can go bugger off to his mansion for the holiday and leave Danny alone for one day a year. Fudge, the guy even seemed to be aware of it by saying that he wouldn't want to oppose when invited by the Fentons, even though he's literally obsessed with his mother.
When Vlad somehow became redeemed, and stopped being a creep towards his mom and trying to force him into being his son he... sorta grew a conscious. I.e, going over to Vlad's mansion and dragging the man out to join his family in celebration.
Apparently, he still never got the hint that he's invited, like, at all. So Danny has to drag him over, every. Single. Year.
At the very least, the man made great non-living treats.
This, has gone on for years, Danny still looks 14, Vlad for some reason stopped aging at 45 and everyone else in the Fenton family knows that they're half ghost and has no problem with it (Jack and Maddie don't anymore after realizing everything they knew and thought were wrong) and celebrated Christmas just as hard as before, if not more so.
Even Dani stopped travelling the world to come back and join in.
It eventually turned into a tradition at that point, and after their family lived and died at a rip age (they never became ghosts) it sorta put a damper on the mood.
Then Vlad left, suddenly thinking he isn't invited anymore since Danny hates Christmas.
Danny, come next year, proved him wrong by showing up out of nowhere, as Phantom, wearing a Santa hat and star cape in the shape of a tree that Vlad stitched himself, with Dani also in ghost form also wearing one with a Christmas themed gas mask on her face.
Danny then just floated down towards him, took him by the back of his Christmas themed cape (Yes, Vlad is also in ghost form), looked at both the heroes, and villains who decided to fight on Vlad's personal property since he was probably funding one of either, or even both sides.
Then said they were taking him, his treats (Dani picked them up because she missed them) and excused themselves.
Vlad won't lie, he's incredibly touched by this event. But he was also a bit sad because he spent so long carefully manipulating both sides for one final, climatic, giant crash that he could sit back and watch while enjoying his cup of hot cocoa and enjoying his goods on one of the best days of the year.

can you recommend some book jonsa fanfics? Not really that many on going in ao3
Hey anon!!!
Here are some more recs for you!!
the first are from nepobabyeurydice:
if you try to break me you will bleed by @dialux
time travel fic with Sansa, but it’s always the first fic I recommend to friends because the development of Jon and Sansa’s relationship from her holding all the cards, to him swearing herself to her, and then Sansa letting him see the whole deck is genuinely beautiful to read!
love exists in many forms by @dialux
In which Alayne Arryn, only daughter of Jon Arryn, commits suicide after her father dies in a failed attempt at rebellion, and her handmaiden, Sansa Stone, pretends to be her when faced with death. Sansa arrives at King’s Landing and finds herself betrothed to Prince Jon Targaryen; but their relationship is complicated by old secrets, new loves, and treason.
my head is bloody and unbowed by sadhippe
In which Robb’s baby survives, Sansa never marries Ramsay, and Jon is held captive at Dragonstone. Also more Tully’s and other Northern Conspiracy Faves!
and recs from visenyashill, who is going to do one of longer fic when they have the time and energy to actually read fic in a little bit, so these are mostly one shots-
in the midst of the ruins by iday
jonsa fic, post war for the dawn. while living out his days out of sight and out of mind, jon gets a raven from winterfell with only two words: "come home." so he does. brienne and podrick are also there. very cute, contained little story, and an older jonsa fic.
varg-hamr/wolfskin by undercovercaptain
this one gets rec-ed a lot but for good reason! a take on jon's ressurection and sansa as the girl in gray that i think is well done and also roughly what i predict will happen (leaving room for some crazy grrm-ness tho, obviously)
saw you in the snow by sleepingwithwolves
another girl in gray esque take but with bran coming to sansa in a weirwood dream as well as jon. i love this one a lot, i you will see i have a weakness for jonsa fic that features another starkling.
no smooth road by maybethrice
rickon pov where jon and sansa recall him from hiding on skagos when he’s twelve, to be the new lord of winterfell. it’s a “dany stops the long night” canon and i like it for delving into the difficult tie of the political situation.
ghosts by sansawolfbits
jon travels to the vale to meet with the lord protector and finds someone he didn't expect. very short but cute also myranda cameo.
i lost all signs so i got lost by tempisfugit
The five people who wanted Sansa for who she reminded them of and the one who just wanted her.
stealing by just_a_dram
jon steals sansa. this is the first jonsa fic i ever read and this author was super prolific with book canon jonsa in like....2016? ish? so if you're looking for book canon stuff, I would definitely start here!
a boy in his cups by greenhikingboots
a re-imagining of jon's first chapter in agot where he knows the truth of who he is and drunkenly proposes to sansa.
a stark in winterfell
it's not super romantic, more tortured than anything, about sansa needing an heir and seducing jon snow - and neither of them know about his true parentage.

No Cap (18+)
Short, fun little blurb about phone sex with Travis. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Just tell me when to stop”, your friend Dani held her hands out, slowly dragging them further away from each other. “Stop.” She stopped just short of a foot. “Are you fucking kidding me?!?” she looked at you with disbelief. “I mean,” you closed one eye to measure with your forearm, “at least 7 inches.” “You’re fucking lying! I mean, damn Travis.” She kneeled into the couch, taking a seat next to you. “Ok, enough dick talk. What do you want for dinner?” You asked her as you pulled out your phone, bringing up the Uber Eats app.
You were hanging out with your roommate and best friend on a quiet Friday night because Travis was traveling to Tampa for a football game. You were just about to press order on your pizza delivery when Travis’ face flashed up on your screen with an incoming call. It was a picture you had taken of him at a baseball game you went to for your second date, Travis giving you a big, cheesy smile as he held up a yard long beer. It made you smile every time he called you. You and Travis had only been dating about three months, but you were head over heels in love.
“Hey!”, Travis had his phone propped on the hotel desk, sitting back in the chair, his sexy chest exposed, and you would have given anything to be running your fingers through his chest hair right now. You clenched your thighs together, squeaking out a greeting. Dani poked her head around the camera, her mouth agape at the sight of a half-naked NFL player. “Travis!”, she cried out. Your boyfriend quickly covered up his torso with a sweatshirt. “Hey Dani, what’s up?”, he replied, his cheeks turning red from embarrassment. “You have any single friends as “blessed” as you?”. She raised her eyebrows, and even through the camera he could tell her eyes were on his crotch. “No, all my friends are married. With kids.” “Shame. Let me know if anything changes.” Dani walked off to her bathroom, leaving the two of you alone.
“Sorry about her.” You rolled your eyes in her direction, Travis laughing. “I fuckin’ love her, she’s hilarious. How are you?” “Okay. Would be better if you were here.” You gave Travis your best pout. “I’ve been gone a whole 24 hours and you already can’t live without me?” Travis was teasing you, but he was right. One of the best things about your new relationship was the sex, and you didn’t go more than two days without getting into bed with Travis when he was home. “This is my first away game as your girlfriend, it’s torture.” Travis’ eyes turned dark as he leaned closer to the camera. “Show me how much you miss me baby.” You quickly ran to your bedroom and locked the door, laying on the bed so Travis could see all of your body. You slipped your shorts off, throwing them over on the floor. Travis groaned at the sight of your barely-there lace thong, barely covering your throbbing pussy. He shifted in his seat, his hard cock rubbing against the tight fabric of his boxers.
You slipped your fingers down your panties, feeling your wetness as you slid your fingers through your folds. Your orgasm was already building, every touch to your sensitive core causing you to clench around emptiness. “Take your pants off, baby.” You were breathless, rubbing circles around your clit as you watched Travis stroke himself. You slipped two fingers inside your pussy, curling your fingers to hit your g-spot repeatedly as you pumped in and out. He stroked the head of his dick, pre-cum leaking from the tip. “Fuck, I’m so wet for you Travis.” “If I was there I would fuck the shit out of you, no cap.” “Wait.” You pulled your fingers out, sitting up in the bed. You let out a loud laugh, Travis’ eyes shooting open at the sound. “Did you just say, ‘no cap’ while I’m finger fucking myself?” “No, I didn’t.” Travis rubbed his shaved head, trying to hold in a chuckle. You both burst out laughing, your side hurting when you couldn’t catch your breath. “You suck at phone sex, baby boy.” You pulled your bra off before pulling your tank top back down. “I’ll admit, I’m terrible, but I make up for it with the real thing.” “No cap”, you nodded your head in agreement.
“Well, the moment has passed, so I’m gonna go take a shower and go to bed.” You blew Travis a kiss as you said your goodbyes. “Wait”, he stopped you before you could hit end call. “Prop me up in the bathroom, I wanna watch you shower.”
“Sorry, bud, you’ll just have to wait for the real thing.” You winked before hanging up your phone.

Culture is a central aspect of Dany's arc. As such, it is a central feature of interpretations of her character, whether such interpretations are positive or negative.
The majority of ASOIAF fans dislike Dany's relationship with culture. What I find interesting, however, is that ASOIAF fans end up rejecting Dany's place in every culture she's part of.
Dany was born on Dragonstone, and immediately fled to Braavos when Rhaella died. When Viserys and Daenerys were forced to leave the Sealord's Manse, they traveled through the Free Cities: Lys, Myr, Tyrosh. Dany speaks Valyrian with a Tyroshi accent/dialect. Six months before the events of AGOT, Viserys and Daenerys land up in Illyrio's manse in Pentos.
Dany unequivocally adopts Dothraki culture as her own. She worships the Dothraki Horse God, speaks Dothraki fluently, wears the hrakkar when she wants to be comfortable, prefers her Dothraki riding leathers, painted vest, and medallion belt to the Meereenese tokar (and wears such an outfit when she wants to project strength), wears bells in her hair, considers Dothraki funeral rites for her own eventual death, loves horse riding, and sees herself as part of the Dothraki land. She is a Khaleesi of her own Khalasar, and also foreshadowed to be the Stallion who Mounts the World.
Dany spends time in Qarth, recovering from the perils of the Red Waste, figuring her leadership style out as a beggar queen, before she is kicked out of the city. There she meets Quaithe, who recurs as an ambiguous guide and mentor in her arc. She also receives various prophecies from the Undying, before they try to devour her. Xaro becomes an ally, and then enemy, and she learns important lessons from him. She gets her three-headed dragon crown, wrought in jade, ivory, and onyx, from the Pureborn of Qarth.
Dany conquers Slaver's Bay, moving from Astapor, to Yunkai, to Meereen, before ruling Meereen as Queen. She tries to free slaves and abolish slavery in each city. She wears the Meereenese tokar, speaks Ghiscari in court, marries Hizdahr zo Loraq in the Meereenese fashion, re-opens the fighting pits, trains her child hostages as cupbearers, and tries to be the "queen of rabbits." The bulk of the exploration of her leadership style and ideology is in Slaver's Bay.
Dany wants to reconquer Westeros on behalf of the Targaryen dynasty, and idealizes Westeros as a beautiful land. She names the habitat Drogon carves out for himself as Dragonstone.
Dany longs for the house with the red door and lemon tree. The two places she admits to being happiest in are Braavos (the house with the red door) and the Dothraki Sea. She once wanted to be a sailor. She has dreams of living a simple life with Daario. She also wants to be queen.
Dany speaks Ghiscari, High Valyrian, Tyroshi Valyrian (and likely other Valyrian dialects, like Pentoshi Valyrian), the Common Tongue, and Dothraki. She worships both the Faith of the Seven and the Dothraki Horse God. She has a connection to R'hllorism. She's lived in various Free Cities, the Dothraki Sea, Qarth, and Meereen. She's been through the Red Waste, Vaes Dothrak, Astapor, and Yunkai.
ASOIAF fans reject every one of Dany's relationships to these locations and cultures.
She is considered entitled, and imperialistic, for wanting to reconquer Westeros. Most theories of her dying center around the futility of conquest, the violence of House Targaryen, the selfishness of holding on to its name, the fact of her exile, and even that she is "foreign" to the land and culture. Many point out that she doesn't know "anything" about Westeros, that her father was Aerys II, that her family are "oppressive conquerors," and that her family lost the throne. Some will come up with convoluted reasons to claim that Jon Snow or Young Griff are ahead of her in the line of succession (so the throne belongs to a Targaryen, just not her). She won't "respect" Northern independence, Dornish independence, Ironborn independence, etc.
She is considered violent, tyrannical, and a threat to Westeros because of her connection to the Dothraki. She is accused of being an enabler of slavery and rape for being Drogo's wife, and then a she-Khal. The stallion who mounts the world prophecy is used as "proof" that she will go mad, or that she will burn Westeros to the ground in her conquest. She is accused of romanticizing Dothraki culture. She's blamed for what happens to the women of the Lhazarene village, particularly Mirri. Phrases such as "she is a white woman whose arc is propped up by the suffering of women of color/characters of color" are usually located here.
Dany is accused of not really caring about slavery because "she didn't do anything about it in Qarth," and stayed in Xaro's manse as a guest.
At the same time, Dany is seen as a white/Westerosi character "imposing her foreign/Western values" upon Essos. She is accused of "trying to civilize" Dothraki culture and "appropriating/mimicking" it. The phrase "white man's burden" is usually thrown around here. She's accused of raping Irri, her arc being built on Irri and Jhiqui's suffering, and the Dothraki being painted as "savage" for her own trauma. She is mocked as naive and ignorant for not appreciating the beauty of Qarth and wanting to return to Westeros in spite of being there, accused of being unfair toward Xaro in expecting an alliance from him, accused of being a cultural imperialist for burning down the House of the Undying.
Her time in Slaver's Bay receives the lion's share of the critique. She ruins its political economy. She destroys the region. She profits from slavery while claiming to be antislavery. She causes the freedmen to face poverty, violence, murder, rape, and suffering. She doesn't do enough against rapists and looters. She chooses fire and blood over the Meereenese peace, which is seen as a negative. She colonizes Slaver's Bay. She is like the US in Afghanistan or Iraq––invading for selfish reasons and then leaving, causing a rightwing insurgency to grow. She commits war crimes by torturing the wineseller's daughters and crucifying 163 Great Masters of Meereen, leaders of the city.
Yet the irony of this is captured in how people criticize her presence in Meereen: she is accused of ruining the city as an imperialist and is then criticized for wanting to sail away to conquer Westeros. So essentially, she has no place in Meereen, but she is also a bad person for wanting to leave it for Westeros.
As a Targaryen, and a Valyrian in general, her presence is seen as oppressive to both Westeros and Essos. Westeros because of the Targaryen conquest, Essos because of the legacy of the Valyrian Freehold. She's criticized for being "allies" with Illyrio Mopatis, a slaveowner, and people theorize that Braavos will hate her for being a Valyrian with dragons. Yet she is also criticized for not resettling in the house with the red door (presumably in Braavos, no?) and instead wanting to conquer Westeros. She is "too stupid" to appreciate how "beautiful and advanced" Essos is, and too focused on idealizing Westeros, but she is also too Westerosi/white/foreign to Essos.
In other words, for ASOIAF fans, Dany does not deserve to belong to any culture. Seeking a place in Westeros means that she is entitled, selfish, privileged, and oppressive. Being a Dothraki Khaleesi means that she simultaneously romanticizes slavery and is trying to civilize brown people. Conquering Slaver's Bay is an act of imperialism from a Western tyrant seeking resources, but leaving Slaver's Bay is an act of imperialism from a Western tyrant fleeing a war they started. Staying in Qarth means that she romanticizes slavery, but not fitting in there and idealizing Westeros means she is like an American tourist in the Global South, who cannot appreciate the real value of where she is in favor of a backwater Global North (Westeros). Being Valyrian means she is inherently responsible for slavery, and thus does not belong in Braavos or Westeros, but if she lives in Qarth, the Free Cities, or conquers Slaver's Bay to abolish slavery, she is trying to make Old Valyria rise again. She ruined Meereen and will burn Volantis, but she will also burn King's Landing and maybe even Sunspear.
If I ask ASOIAF fans what culture she belongs to, or which continent she should be part of, doubtless I will get multiple answers. But those answers will end up contradicting themselves. The reality is that these are not scattered rejections––the people rejecting Dany's place in each culture will, at different times, reject all the places Dany occupies in said cultures. Someone who on one day says Dany is a backwater white person who can't appreciate the beauty of Qarth will on the next day claim that she is reviving the violence of the Targaryen dynasty upon Dorne and the North by planning to invade Westeros. Someone who will wax lyrical about how she is a white woman whose arc is built on the suffering of women of color, and thus that she is a Nazi, or white supremacist, will on another day call her a rape enabling slave profiteer for being Drogo's wife and a Khaleesi.
Perhaps this is the natural conclusion of a character who is intentionally written as stateless and homeless. A nomad, an exile, a diasporic teenage girl, who longs for various "homes" and has different ideas of "home" in her head. But what does it say about ASOIAF fans that they reject her relationship with every culture? They don't want her in Essos or Westeros. We don't know what's west of Westeros, as we never hear the outcome of Elissa Farman's voyage. Doubtless the same fears people have of Dany living and thriving in Essos or Westeros would apply to any lands west of Westeros too. So where do they want her? There is an answer to this, which only a few ASOIAF fans are honest enough to admit: that Dany should have died in childbirth, or on the journey to Braavos, or on the Dothraki Sea, as Illyrio intended. Sadly, most ASOIAF fans are not brave enough to admit that their rejection of Dany's various cultural "places" is actually just a disguise for their dissatisfaction at her existence in the narrative.
(Whether or not that dissatisfaction is merited, whether or not it is motivated by genuine, "progressive" literary reasons, is another conversation. ASOIAF fans are indeed free to be upset about her presence as a character, or to theorize that she will be a villain because of her cultural statelessness. Right now, though, this post focuses on the question of "what culture could Dany be a part of without being a threat." The answer, for most ASOIAF fans, seems to be that Dany, child of storm, was born a threat to the entire world of ice and fire).

DP x DC prompt where, after an identity reveal gone wrong, Jazz (who is freshly 18) grabs Danny and takes him to live in Gotham where she has a scholarship. Between Danny’s ghost powers and their parents’ hatred of Gotham (something about a ghost convention gone Very Badly, and Bruce Wayne refusing to fund their research), they’re willing to risk the crime rates.
Danny can’t resist doing his Phantom thing because of his Obsession, and within about 2.5 weeks Bruce is fighting Jazz for custody rights of him. Well, not really fighting since they could absolutely use a financial backer so Jazz can focus on school. Jazz also likes the idea of Danny getting proper training from Batman to keep him safe, since she can’t just make him stop fulfilling his Obsession.
They’ve been staying in the manor for about a week when Danny and Jazz realize that they’ve completely forgotten to address Dani. She’s continued her traveling for the last several months, but Dani told them on her last visit she was getting a bit lonely and wanted to try schooling-- after first visiting Australia, that is.
Danny and Jazz have kept in touch with Sam and Tucker, so they know that their friends will be able to steer Dani away from Amity Park and in their direction once she gets back... But, oh Ancients, now they have to actually address the clone in the room. And probably face a massive lecture from Bruce once he realizes they never mentioned their youngest sibling (and that they also just let her fly off to Australia by herself for two months without even a cellphone).
They’re not really concerned about the bats accepting Dani (they’ve already accepted that Danny is half ghost, which is a pretty high bar to cross), but they are Very concerned about the Questions her presence will invoke.
Danny and Jazz have managed to keep a lot of Danny’s Bigger ghost exploits under wraps (especially the time travel), but they know Bruce is going to take one look at Dani and it’s going to open up the “Hey so my arch nemesis is Vlad Masters-- yes I have an arch nemesis, and yes that Vlad Masters-- he cloned me-- why? Oh, he’s a halfa like me haha funny story-- oh and it Might be a problem if he ever finds out we’re here so you can’t confront him about any of this” can of worms.
Danny can’t be sure if Bruce will respect his tentative truce with Vlad. He’s pretty sure his new brothers and sisters will want to flog the man within an inch of his fruitloop (after)life if they ever find out about how many times he’s electrocuted Danny.
So at this point they’re just waiting for Sam and Tucker to warn them of Dani’s arrival— and trying to come up with a good cover story in the meantime. They MIGHT be able to pass Dani off as his twin (between Danny being trans and Dani mercilessly catching up to him in height, it seems doable). Only... they’re pretty sure Bruce will call immediate bullshit on them being twins once he tries to find paperwork about Dani. Hell, he probably already has access to Danny and Jazz’s birth certificates and would definitely notice a third one just magically appear (if they even managed to falsify one).
Their next idea (and the winning plan) is to be truthful about Dani being a clone, but to lie about her origins. They decide to pin all of the blame on Pariah Dark since he can’t exactly dispute clone fatherhood rights from his sarcophagus. Boom-- scapegoat.
Within the week, they get a text from Tucker saying Dani is on her way. Within the day, she’s on the front step of Wayne Manor. Dani’s hair is shorter than last time, she’s now exactly Danny’s height, and she looks a little too like him for it to not raise immediate red flags with a family of paranoid bats and birds.
It’s an absolute mess as they try to introduce Dani to the family. Just an absolute plethora of questions about clones and twins. (Apparently, the Waynes have dealt with clones before and are Very concerned? Danny didn’t even mention the word clone, they just brought that shit up in the foyer like it was common knowledge. He has to unpack that later.)
Jason happens to be there, and he’s just staring at Dani the entire time, trying to decide if it’s worth asking why Danny’s new twin(?) feels as dead as he does.
Dani, meanwhile, hears clones mentioned and just blurts out:
“Wait, did Vlad clone you guys too?”
Danny and Jazz belatedly realize they should have ran their plan by Sam and Tucker first. In a panic, they try to pass Vlad off as Pariah Dark’s real name.
Tim just looks up the one (1) Vlad in Amity Park and it spirals from there.

Danny outlived his family, Vlad, and even Dani. In the effort to prevent himself from following the previous timeline of falling down a dark path. He travels, going all over the world to help people.
Since his time travel shenanigans, he is a legend to ancient civilizations and even a myth to others.
Stories change over time and can eventually die. As more heroes come to light, who grew up on hearing the legend of Phantom, Danny is having a hard time of staying, as many civilizations call him, a myth.
He retires, believing that the world is now in safe hands, and he can return to living life as a human.
Secrets kept him safe, and even as the Justice League forms, he still believes that it's safer for him and other residents of the afterlife to stay secret.
He still does small things that keeps his protection obsession at bay. Keeping the temperature low when it comes to blazing fires, slipping stolen items in open areas where they can be found, even dropping some information that's just subtle enough for some investigators.
Even with the years going by, he feels off. Contained, pressured, this overwhelming feeling of not belonging.  He's still human, well, half in his case. Truly half. His ghost side keeps him alive, simple as that.
His parents initial design of the proto portal had been modified and perfected. Working off his own ecto-energy that allows it to work. Allowing him to escape into the ghost zone whenever he's been human for just a smidge too long.
He's always gotta flip between the two.
Recently he's noticed, that whenever that feeling of not belonging appears he turns to the ghosts to calm down.
A Christmas truce one year, has Ember telling him that she herself gets like that sometimes. Socializing helps reign in that feeling.
Turning to Frostbite for more answers, he finds out that because of his halfa status he needs double the socialization. Some in his human form and in his ghost form.
During the spring, being reminded by the deaths of his family, he begins tracking down Jazz's descendants. Maybe he can be the family friend or even an uncle.
Starting to travel again, staying hidden in his Phantom form, he tracks his distant family down. It takes a few months, but he finds them.
The Wayne children reminds him of his friends and family. He can see each of their antics in them and can even sense the death. It's like he came home.
One or more of the Wayne children are descendants from Amity Parkers. Like maybe one is related to Paulina while another is related to Sam. Maybe three of the adopted children are the descendants of Sam, Tucker, and Jazz.
A bubbling feeling overwhelms him, and he has to leave, taking the moment to just breath in the city of Gotham.
These people are not his friends and family. This is not Amity Park.
Still, he looks back to the manor, and begins to look over the Wayne family.
Finding out that they are vigilantes was a moment of frustration but also pride. It ran in the family, in more ways than one, but they are helping those, protecting those that can't help themselves.
He keeps a closer eye on them. Particularly on Jason as the ecto-contamination is particularly high, he gets the barest sense from some of the others, but Jason's is on another level.
With Danny being in the living realm, his normal Rouge Gallery that had gotten to know the young kid start to grow concerned as he hadn't returned for his normal "session" of socializing.
They track him down and finding him in Gotham is when one of the vigilantes   get the chance to see Phantom and whoever he's talking with.
Then things snowball, researching what can be found.
Danny is fairly concerned that they're searching him out but can't blame them.
At some point, Pariah Dark is unsealed from the Sarcophagus. By a particular strong dark magic user that wants to kill him and absorb the life force of the Dark King.
Because the story of Phantom is ancient, there's not many resources nor knowledge of the reign of Pariah. Nor of GZ/IR ghosts in general. Rumors here and there but nothing substantial.
For some reason the ritual summoning works, and Pariah is unsealed. The ghosts flee to whatever portal is available, and suddenly the existence of ghosts is very real.
Then the JL get involved. Danny has to rise up as Phantom to figure out why they left the GZ/IR. Putting himself on the Batclan's radar which leads to many misunderstandings as he defends the ghosts from the vigilantes.
The batclan(s) that are descendants from the original Amity Parkers who grew up hearing stories of the famous hero of Amity, Phantom, is/are the one(s) that find him and calmly discuss the situation.
Through Batman, who is entirely on Phantom's side after getting all the information he can, go to JL to explain everything.
Some of the JL, like Diana, are shocked to find that Phantom is no myth. Others a skeptical, but with one call to JL Dark has them retrieving all information from all sides.
Danny has to enter the zone, carefully, to figure out the status. He finds the sarcophagus destroyed; the spell used leaves no way for Pariah to be placed down calmly.
Returning with no good news, it's one of the magic users that say that he just needs to end him permanently.
Danny doesn't take too kindly to that and is obviously unnerved.
Batman calms him down.
Perhaps time stops and Clockwork explains.
The Infinite realms needs a king to stay stable and prevent the two worlds from leaking into each other. While Pariah was sealed, he still held the title as king. Only a Champion, chosen by the Realms itself can end the dark king for good. Just more cryptic.
Time returns to normal with one question answered but many more follow. Danny relays the answers he got, which those that don't know of him are not trusting him. Still Batman and Diana defend him.
Due to the threat of a skeleton army, Danny takes his parents blueprints and starts to produce weapons that the JL and YJ can use. They're on a time limit.
Batman can tell that he's overwhelmed and takes him back to the cave to calm him down. The rest of the Batclan show to give him support, some family bonding happens.
Jason is in the cave when Danny finds out that he's the Champion, some of his titles from previous allies come crashing back. Danny has to be the one to end Pariah's existence. One panic attack later about the thought of taking a life, though not a true "living" life, he still believes that it'll take him down the dark path.
Carefully, and slowly, he explains this alternate timeline and what happened to Jason, who had been the one to calm him down. Jason absolutely tells him what he needs to hear, it helps but there's still that anxiety.
One nasty fight later, Danny ends Pariah and gains the new title of King. He does not want it, but reluctantly accepts it.
He now has allies all over that will be happy to help and a new kingdom he still doesn't want to rule over.
Danny and the Batclan return to the manor and relax, they deserve it.
Finally, they get the full story on why he was in Gotham, why he didn't reach out to the league sooner, and he shares stories about their ancestors.
---
Finally caught up on all the prompts, this shall be the last one...for now. There are a few on my FF profile from my Arrow phase, might do them too. Might also look into more of the magic and mystic stuff of DC to see if there’s a way to connect back to DP.
I need to get back and work on Superphantom series LOGA.
Three original stories that are potential books.
The POTC Fic of OC Raven (HC Jack has a daughter) that ran off into an unknown plot.

Danny Phantom Side Hoes Week 2024
March 7: Dani Phantom, self defense
Down by the Beach AO3 Link Danny Phantom x The Owl House
“That’s an amazing sandcastle.”
Collector whirled round, stunned to find that someone had managed to sneak up on him. It was a white haired girl who felt as human as much as she felt of death and power.
“Do you wanna play hide and go seek with me? I bet we’d have so much fun!” Collector blurted out starry eyed.
Fortunately, the white haired girl didn’t look fazed at all at the sudden fervent invitation.
“Yeah sure, you’re it!” she grinned widely. “Don’t forget to count to 100!” Then she zipped away, soaring into the air, her legs now a ghostly tail trailing behind her. The Collector blinked before giggling. He closed his eyes and started counting.
“98, 99, 100! Ready or not, here I come!” The Collector opened his eyes. Of course the beach was empty when Collector gave a quick scan of the immediate area. Then he levitated into the air to get that sweet bird’s eye view. He couldn’t find anything in the Electromagnetic Spectrum for miles around. He switched over to heat vision and then x-ray. But still nada.
“Oh, she is good!” the Collector praised as he soared through the sky on his flying starboard.
“I FOUND YOU!”
“But now you gotta tag me”
“No fair, the ocean is so cold!”
“Oh you think this is cold? I’ll show you cold.”
“I call hacks!”
“What for?”
“Animating your sandcastle into a walking fortress is totally unfair.”
“I don’t want to hear that after you froze the ocean. With ME INSIDE IT!”
...
“Listen, you can hear the ocean's roar inside,” frog crouching down next to a tide pool, Dani cupped a beautiful exotic conch shell to her ear. Hovering cross-legged beside her, Collector mimed turning a hand crank; amplifying the echoing sound so that he could hear it too.
“I’m gonna add this to my collection,” Dani declared whilst admiring the shell, it glimmered a fierce red and spooky silver.
“You have a Collection?” the Collector asked, eyes wide.
“Yeah, I‘ve got all kinds of cool rocks and souvenirs from all over the realms. Do you want to see it?”
“Yeah, totally, of course.”
“I mean it’s back at my place, but you can come over.”
“I can?” the Collector’s voice cracked.
“Obvsi,” Dani teased in a ‘duh’ voice, “we’re friends”
“AWESOME!” the Collector yelled giddily into the bright blue sky. This was the first time in his entire existence he had been invited over to a friend’s home. “Whatcha doin’?”
Dani was currently holding some kind of hand device. It looked really funny. It was slab with buttons and a screen.
“I’m calling for a portal pickup” Dani explained.
“With that?! But what is it?”
Dani blinked in surprise, “It’s a long distance communication device called a mobile phone.”
“What, like a crow phone?” Collector cocked his head in curiosity.
Dani squints, “Maybe?” she draws out, “what’s a crow phone?”
“It’s a long distance communication device but it’s shaped like crow”
Dani shrugs, “then probably”, she looks back at her phone. “Hmm a portal should appear any second now.”
Just as she said that, Collector felt his ears pop as reality suddenly burst, like a pin in a helium balloon. Suddenly, a green swirly portal formed in front of him.
“That’s actually really cool,” Collector admits.
“Yeah c’mon,” Dani led the way through the portal.
Collector eyes widened at the Palace of Death, Ice, and Celestial Beauty floating before him, imposing and haunting against a backdrop of abyssal Cosmic Space.
“You live here?! Are you a princess? Where’s your tiara?” Collector asked, rapid fire.
“I’m not wearing it, yes I am, yes I do.”
The Collector looked around, his head on a swivel. “This place is so cool!”
Dani looked over at the Collector’s star themed outfit, “Yeah I had feeling you might like it,” she smiled. She flew up to her bedroom’s window, up in her tower, with the Collector following behind her as they entered in.
Taking up one entire wall, were shelves of her collections and souvenirs from her travels across the realms and Dani gleefully showed it off.
BANG!
The door to Dani’s bedroom slammed open and Dan was standing there in all his asshole glory. Dan looked down with all his stupid height at the two little kids in the room who looked back up at him.
Dani glared up at her brother’s intrusion. W̴̡̛͍͚̳͊͌H̶̦͑A̸͎̩͇͂̓T̷̞̻͖̜͑̾̉͝?̶͚̩̍̆͊!̸̳̱̐̓ ̷̞͙̀ (leave-get-out-get-out) (anger- confusion-disdain) she silently scowled in ghost-speak.
BANG!
Gone, Dan slammed the door behind him. There was a moment of confusion and surprise. Then heard hollered throughout the Palace,
“DANI HAS A BOY IN HER BEDROOM!!!”
Dani’s face was aghast. The Collector’s was bewildered. They could hear the building thunder of a stampeding herd of wildebeests.
BANG!
“Oh look, Dani brought her first friend over,” cooed Jazz.
Danny firmly denied the sight in front of him. “No! No! You’re too young to be bringing boys over!”
“Oooh who gets to do the shovel talk?” Dan cackled.
“Sam” “Sam” “Me” Tucker, Jazz, and Sam said together.
“What about me?! I’m the Ghost King! I’m her Father!”
“Yeah,” Tucker acknowledges, “but Sam’s the scariest.”
“Excuse you, I’m right here,” Dan protested.
Sam rolled her eyes, “Yeah but you’re not gonna bother.”
“... nah you’re right,” Dan shrugged.
“No wait, hang on, I can too be scary. I can be very scary.”
“Danny, you have multiple times needed either Sam or I to correct your order when you receive the wrong one,” Jazz pointed out.
“OK!” Danny blustered. “This and that are two different things!”
“Sorry bro, just take the L. You’ve been outvoted.” Tucker rested a commiserating hand on Danny’s morose shoulder.
“Anyway” Jazz cheered, “it’s very nice to meet you…”
“The Collector” the boy introduced himself feeling shy all of sudden.
“It’s very nice to meet you, the Collector. Nevermind the noise, you’ll always be welcome here.”
“I’m glad to be here,” Collector sheepishly replied.
“ALRIGHT,” Dani started yelling, “OUT, OUT”, she shouted as she pushed her family out of her bedroom. “I’m so sorry,” Dani apologised to the bemused-looking Collector, “my family is so embarrassing,”
“You better keep the door open!”
“DANNY!”

She is a Ghost; He Stalked Batman. What More Can I Say?
Masterlist
***
Tim Drake lived in the city with his parents before they moved into the manor, and it's how he was able to take pictures of Batman and Robin.
In Dani's travels across the world, the moment she stumbles into Gotham, she becomes friends with Tim Drake, who was sad that it was his last night in the city. His parents have become richer with their new business endeavors, and now they're moving to Bristol, becoming neighbors with Playboy Billionaire Philanthropist Bruce Wayne.
Dani decided to make this kid's last night of picture taking a night to remember, carrying him to so many angles he could take pictures of the Dynamic Duo. Tim also capturing with his camera Dani beating up some bad guys herself.
“Not bad, Ghost Girl,” said Tim, showing Dani some pictures he took of her.
Dani playfully smacked his arm. “Thanks, Stalker Boy.”
Once the night is over, Tim expresses that it's the best night ever, and they say their goodbyes, with Tim saying that Dani is a pretty good hero, too.
It’s years later when they meet again, when Phantom became an active member of the Justice League, and months later decides to introduce his clone to Superman in hopes of getting him to accept Superboy.
Tim didn’t recognize Dani, since she was in her Dani Phantom form. And Dani didn’t recognize Tim, since he was dressed as Robin.
But, she did recognize Robin being Batman’s partner. And, although she knows that this isn’t the same Robin from when she visited Gotham all those years ago, she’s just gotta ask, “You ever notice some kid following you around and taking pictures of you and the Bat fighting crime at night?”
Dani imagines Robin blinking his eyes behind his domino mask. But then, he gasped, and pointed a finger towards her. And Dani, on instinct pointed back.
“GHOST GIRL!?”
Dani gasped. There’s only one kid who called her that. And it was, “STALKER BOY?!”
So many questions were bombarded towards the two, Batman being exasperated and tired, and Danny being amused and happy that Dani has a friend from her travels.

About DP x DC au space prompt:
I have read this idea that some one made years ago because I can't seem to find it but, the main idea is that Danny gets to explore space like he's always wanted. Don't know how many years past but, space travel is possible for humans and Danny meets a voyaging space crew, which possibly one of the crew mates knows about Amity Park legend and is Jazz's great-descendant. (I believe all of his current family are dead except for Dani, Jazz because she is liminal and Vlad, possible his parents became ghosts too because of their obsession with them and immediately get sentenced to prison for hate crime genocide etc..)
For more, I like to think that while he explores the galaxy, if he sees injustice he will try to help them, maybe after many missions a blue lantern ring appears before him as he has given hope to people in the universe. (Maybe incountering some young tamarans, some Martians, living planets like Oa, fighting darkseid, etc...) Then one day, Clockwork appears before him, saying okay you had your fun, come back to earth, you've got a dimension to run and that how we find out Danny is the new ruler of GZ. When Danny re-enters earth atmosphere, he looks like a bright shiny white comet.

𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒂 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒌
・You scoured high and low to find at least one dire wolf pup. It took you two years (and all that time you hid it from Sansa. You wanted to hide her from feeling the constant disappointment of it not working out.)
・It started when you realised how much Sansa was talking about Lady, specifically how much she missed her.
・Now that she was safe, away from the dangers of King’s Landing. Sansa now let all that trauma wash over her - it was the steps in moving forward to healing
・And a part of that was realising how much she had lost. Particularly, how much she missed Lady.
・So, that’s what sparked your desire to find one for Sansa. You thought she deserved another chance of connecting to a direwolf. And hopefully her warging abilities would work once again.
・Two and a half years later, you found a litter of direwolf pups on the outskirts of Winterfell. Three to be exact.
・The mother was on her death bed and you couldn’t bare to see her suffer.
・You asked a maester to treat the animal (much to their dismay). But animals held a big piece of your heart.
・Mirculously all four direwolves were healthy, and you felt overjoyed but overwhelmed. How would Sansa react? You were only expecting to present her one. But now four?
The Queen in the North found your note and trekked down to the stables, where the three pups and mother had been kept.
・ “Wha-what is this?” Sansa was shocked. Not entirely comprehending wat was before her.
  “A ... surprise!” You said half-heartedly.
・And she was surprised.
・And...she cried.
・All those traumas escaped through her tears, and she did something you had never seen her do.
・Sansa, who bowed to no one, who held her head high, stalked towards them (she wanted to run but didn’t want to scare them) and fell to her knees.
・She sobbed as she held the babies, who howled and cried, nuzzling themselves in Sansa’s arm
“I’m keeping them all,” she said through tears of both grief and joy.
・You nearly started crying at the sight. And wanted to run over to her, but instead, you let her have her moment. She deserved it.
・And in that moment, Sansa could feel her family. Her mother, Robb, Rickon, and her father. She stayed in that stable for over an hour. Sobbing into the fur of the mother direwolf.
𝑱𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒏𝒐𝒘
・Ghost was a good companion. A beautiful boy who followed Jon’s every move. And you both adored him.
・So Jon didn’t actively go out looking for another pet.
・ Especially since he’s now living with the Wildlings.
・But being together with you, meant that animals would somehow be a part of your lives
・You love animals. And you can’t help but give aid to whatever creature needs it
・You had that conversation with Jon before, and you both came to the conclusion that Ghost wouldn’t do well with another dog
・And you didn’t get another dog ...
・While travelling with the Wildlings you came across an interesting part of Westeros where they had animals called ‘ferrets’.
・They were long, lanky things that made funny noises and you instantly fell in love
・When Ghost came up to the vendor, his red eyes glowing, he sniffed one ferret in particular and looked at Jon, did a certain motion with his head (that you told Jon was a nod) and walked away.
・Jon was put off by the animal. He thought it looked too ... unworldly.
“Like a deformed cat,” Jon had said and you scolded him
“But it’s cute. And she can fit in my pack.”
・Jon sighed and paid the vendor, who thanked you generously and stashed the money without telling you one important bit of information
・The ferret was pregnant.
𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒚𝒆𝒏
・There was a lot of space in the castle that Dany had usurped
・And although you loved her dragons, they weren’t exactly the cuddling, interactive type
・Viserion was the most affectionate, but even he could become irritated with too much physical attention
・And Dany could see that you vyed for affection - she gave you as much as she could whenever she could
・But duties and responsibilities were constantly pulling her away from you
・So on your nameday, she surprised you.
・The small bun had the floppiest ears and you adored it the moment you set eyes on it
“What ... is it, exactly?” You said in Old Valyrian.
“A rabbit,” she responded, stroking its’ white floppy ear.
    “I love it!”
・Dany had even set up a space in your rooms for it. Hay, food, water, a little home where it could hide away
・She had done all this while you were distracted by Missandei
・And you knew you were the luckiest person in the world.
𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒆
・His outright answer was no.
・No animal would exist on his land unless it contributed in one way or another
・The horses were used for travel, the cows for milk and the chickens for eggs.
・But you wanted a puppy so badly.
・And you told Sandor that the Hound needed ...  a hound
“It’s funny!” You said one evening, rugged up in bed while he added wood to the fire.
He only looked over his shoulder and raised a brow.
・But you weren’t someone who liked being told to do. Sandor knew this.
・And at noon a few days later, you packed a horse and got ready to go into town.
・He knew you too well
・Sandor was standing at the fence, leaning against the pillar.
・You slowed the horse and jumped from the saddle
“I thought you were milking the cows,” you said, crossing your arms
“And I thought you were collecting the eggs.”
・You scrunched your nose and stared at him. He stared straight back.
・ “I’m going to get one,” you stated, unclasping your arms and leading the horse back to your cottage
“I know,” Sandor muttered to himself, shaking his head
・A week later you awoke to a high-pitched noise
・Jumping from your bed you raced toward the sound, thinking a fox had gotten into the hen coop
・But the chickens were fine. Clucking at you in annoyance for waking them.
A mewling pup wiggled in Sandor’s arms, crying for its mother.
“Sandor?” You said in shock.
     “A hound for Mrs/Mr Hound.”
𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒊 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓
・A cat; wouldn’t matter if it was long-haired or short-haired. Cersei would make sure the servants fresh her daily
・Many might think Cersei would have a pet like a snake or something that represents manipulation. But a cat suited her perfectly. A creature that isn’t needy - doesn’t follow you everywhere, values its independence and cleans itself
・Like a Princess for a Princess
・Everyone would be able to differentiate this cat from the others in King’s Landing because around its neck is a collar made of gold. Solid gold.
・It’s not too heavy and is clasped in a lock which only Cersei has the key
・Joffrey never liked the thing. And that’s what he called it, ‘the thing.’
・Cersei’s eldest son never liked animals much, but he especially hated the one that held his mother’s affection
・Every night the cat would find its way into Cersei’s bed, sleeping at the end of it.
・However, if anyone else was in the bed besides Cersei, the pretty feline would not enter
𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉
・A dog. However, she didn’t go out of her way to purchase an animal or go looking for one. But a starving dog chose Brienne.
・The poor pup was stuck in a trap, and with Brienne’s golden heart, she couldn’t leave it there to suffer
・So, she freed it. And for days, it followed her.
・Brienne tried to shoo it away. She even resorted to throwing sticks at it (lightly throwing). But it didn’t deter the young wolfhound
・By the end of the week, Brienne had started hunting for two, rather than one.
・She’d cleaned and wrapped its leg with a spare shirt, and hand-fed it her food.
・When she finally returned home, with a sheepish look on her face, you knew something was up. But you thought something awful had happened. Maybe she wasn’t able to reach Queen Sansa in time for the meeting.
・But it wasn’t something serious at all.
・Just a malnourished pup who had trusted a white-haired knight and ended up with the perfect family.

・Honestly, Jaime wouldn’t want a pet of any kind. Not a dog, a cat, a rabbit or direwolf. He didn’t want anything reliant on him.
・Jaime felt this way all through his childhood through his teens and early adulthood.
・It wasn’t until he had personal growth, and a part of that was from meeting you. And the overarching factor of his growth was due to leaving Cersei
・Now that he’s ready to settle down, to have a life of his own, the thought of a pet was prevalent on his mind
・Like a practice run for a baby
・Because he never got to look after the children he had with Cersei
・So with you, whether you bore his child or you both adopted one, Jaime wanted to take a step back and have a pet in preparation
・Together you brainstormed for weeks, thinking of the best pet. You wanted a dog, one that would grow big and strong. That would scare off anyone that would do you harm.
・All Jaime could think of was the slobber, and the hair, and the size of the poops.
“Oh Jaime, please! It’d probably smell better than you,” you winked at him and he chuckled.
Smirking he snaked his arms around your waist and pulled you tight against him, “and yet, you still let me sleep in your bed.”
・It was funny though, because you didn’t end up with a dog. Or a cat. Or a rabbit or even a mouse.
・Somehow, you had adopted ... a fox
・The little red kit was crying for his mother, who had either abandoned him or died.
・And it wasn’t even you who had found him. Jaime was out in the field, on the plane of land that you both lived on, and heard him crying.
・He bundled up the four-legged creature and brought him inside from the cold.
“Y/n,” Jaime said hesitantly, and you could see the smug look on his face. A joke waiting to tumble from his lips.
     “It’s a boy! You have a son!”

・Pod had never had a pet before, and when you suggested it, he was over the moon.
・Every night before bed he deliberated.
“Do you like dogs? How about cats? What if it doesn’t like me?” His ramblings made you smile. God, he was the perfect personification of a golden retriever.
“Honey, you’re fine, it’s fine. There isn’t one person in this world who doesn’t like you.”
“Um that old lady in the village didn’t like me.”
“Because you bumped into her while you were covered in blood. Once you started talking to her, she practically fell in love.”
・Pod blushed at that comment
・The very next day, you saw the same lady in the village, but she looked troubled.
・Pod instantly walked over to her and asked what was the matter
“My old cat had a whole litter of kittens,” she said while leaning on her walking stick, “and I don’t know what to do with them!”
・You and Pod looked at each other and smiled.

・It was a shock when the sparrow landed on her window sill. He was jumping here and there, happily tweeting.
・And then out of nowhere a large grey owl swooped from the hidden shadows and snatched the sparrow in its’ clutches.
・Margaery gasped, and acted so swiftly, even retelling the stories she thought she misunderstood her own actions
・But her instincts kicked in
・And she snatched the owl’s leg and pulled it towards her. This loosened the owl’s grip and the sparrow flew away
・ “Now what was that!” She shrieked at the owl, who hooted angrily at the Tyrell princess
She had been feeding the owl bits of feed and dead mice she found around the castle
・But apparently it wanted to show off, yet Margaery wasn’t having a bar of it
“That was very rude,” she said, but moved forward and stroked the owl’s soft feathers.
    “But also very impressive.”
