Agrokiz is a typeface designed for display and design needs that require large text such as magazine headlines, banners, etc. With its modern form, this typeface is quite applicable for various media and design styles. Agrokiz is equipped with uppercase, lowercase, symbols, numbers and multilingual.

It’s a little disappointing to see that brands, as well as art and design communities, haven’t shown more recognition or support for the earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand.

Adobe Photoshop VS Others

When someone once said, "Photoshop to the rescue, " one of my favourite dialogues from Gabblin's web series Office Politics, I hoped that there would have been some other equivalent alternatives to this software.

But to date, there has been none.

I last used it in September 2019, and since then, I have been struggling to get a chance to use it again.

Simply as I do not own a license.

But Photoshop is what it is. And Adobe should be super proud of it.

Be it 🖊️ Image Editing 🖊️ Image Manipulation 🖊️ Visual Effects 🖊️ GIF Creation 🖊️ Generative AI 🖊️ Graphic Design 🖊️ Digital Painting 🖊️ 3D

You name it and most probably they have it.

No alternative in my knowledge has been able to deliver close to what Photoshop can do.

Exactly one year ago, on December 31, 2023, I was sitting in my friend's kitchen, talking with her mother. We were discussing my eye injury, which had brought my life to a standstill. I had always believed that I could solve any problem in my life because I considered myself talented and hardworking. However, when I couldn’t see properly for an extended period, I realized it was just an illusion.

That day, I said these words: I have exactly one year to change everything and create a foundation that would become my "mattress." This mattress would save me in case I fell again in life. It would protect me even if I could no longer see or if something happened to my hands. My life feels like a roller coaster where the cart isn’t securely attached to the rails. Sometimes it derails, but eventually, it finds its way back.

Even then, I thought about how much I enjoyed living. However, I had no idea what I needed to do or what to change.

A full year has passed. In this video, I can show that I now have my own online store with free shipping, and it’s running successfully. Although yesterday, likely for the last time, I reworked almost everything in the store and removed 180 products. Today, I uploaded what I believe truly represents me, not just items for sale. I’ve always wanted what I create to be a part of me.

Throughout this journey, I had to put in a lot of effort, make countless mistakes, and start over many times. There were numerous disappointments and moments when I wanted to give up. It feels like I lived an additional 15 years in this process. But completing this project made me realize my true potential. I understood that I could achieve much more—create something big, meaningful, and important. Something that could not only change my life but also impact others.

I’m no longer in my friend’s kitchen, and her mother isn’t beside me. Right now, I’m at my computer, talking to my readers. This time, I clearly see what I’m determined to do. It’s true, I don’t know if one year will be enough to bring this new project to life, but I believe that with enough effort, I’ll make it happen. Gradually, I’m beginning to understand my purpose in this life, what my mission is, and how to share it with others.

okay y'all, grab your coffee/tea because we need to talk about the print-on-demand journey that literally had us questioning our life choices 😅

So there we were, thinking we'd become overnight pattern design millionaires by putting our art on checks notes EVERYTHING. Shower curtains? Sure! Phone cases? Why not! Oven mitts? ...yeah, that was definitely a choice.

But here's the tea ☕️:

After testing literally every POD site out there (and crying over some questionable print quality), we've learned some things that we wish someone had told us before we started:

🌟 PLATFORMS WE ACTUALLY TESTED:

Printify (aka the "sometimes amazing, sometimes yikes" experience)

Printful (the reliable but expensive friend)

Redbubble (where your designs go to compete with 5 million others)

Society6 (pretty good quality, if you can figure out their upload system)

🎨 WHAT ACTUALLY WORKED FOR US:

Wall art (consistently selling!)

Socks (who knew people loved funky socks this much?)

Tote bags (our eco-conscious friends are living for these)

💀 WHAT DEFINITELY DIDN'T:

Trying to be on every platform at once (we still have stress dreams about this)

Not ordering samples (trust us, just... trust us)

Ignoring SEO because it seemed "too technical"

Here's the thing - we're still figuring this out too. Some days we feel like we're crushing it, other days we're googling "how to delete all evidence of early designs from the internet" 😂
