going off the alley/Gotham fate post from last night: a world where Bruce doesn’t find his Robins but is still Batman, and every single one of his kids is drawn to him even though their lives are complete and relatively safe without him.

Dick has living parents who love him but has always felt like something was missing. He makes eye contact with a man in the crowd at a performance and feels a bizarre, all encompassing urge to go talk to him.

Tim meets Bruce Wayne at a party hosted by his parents and wants to cry when he shakes the man’s hand.

Jason runs into Batman on the street one night getting medicine for his mom from the pharmacy and briefly considers following the man home.

Maybe Bruce knows their original fates, maybe he doesn’t. Maybe he believes they’re better off without him. Better off without Batman. But he doesn’t realize that the second their lives intersect again (they were always meant to) his children could never look away from him again into blissful ignorance.

it makes me chuckle to imagine aventurine with a rich!reader who came from a wealthy and influential family who's just as much of a spender as he is

the courting stage would just be you two competitively, in a lighthearted way, trying to one up the other when it came to gifts

he'd buy you a bouquet, you'd buy him one too but much bigger. he'd respond by sending you rare flowers from a far away planet, you'd respond by having a greenhouse full of different flowers from different planets, all for him

he'd offer to eat dinner with you at a fancy restaurant and just one look from the other, you already know where this is headed. you spent a long time trying to decide which restaurant to go to because the other always recommended a different one, insisting the food there was better than the other

he once complained about how taking his car to work was a nightmare because of the recent traffic and you sent a spaceship his way the next day to pick him up

don't even get started with shopping together om

even though you both talked in money and spent so much in material gifts, you still make sure you don't just offer him those but also yourself. as expensive as your dates maybe, most of them are still ones where you could enjoy yourselves in each other's presence

others thought that the outlandish and ridiculous gifts would end or at least lessen when you start officially dating, but boy were they wrong

there was one time he nonchalantly offered to give topaz one of his yachts, insisting that you gave him too much and that you wouldn't mind what he'd do to them as long as he's happy. the face topaz was making was very much screaming ‘wtf?’

all that aside though, it'd be angsty to add that your family doesn't approve of you dating aventurine because he didn't come from a prominent family, typical rich family behavior

they only accepted him as your lover not because they liked him, but because he's part of the ten stonehearts and had a high ranking position sadge

To anyone who thinks Vil’s arc is shallow or isn’t as tragic as the other ob characters or that his issue about being typecasted wasn’t that serious, daily reminder that Jack Gleeson actually retired from his acting career soon after his Game of Thrones character was killed off. Because he received so much online backlash/harassment for playing him too well. People hated Joffrey so much that it actually affected the actors career. And he was only 22 at the time.

i’ve noticed on radblr that if a young woman says she’s never going to date men again there’s this same condescending response that’s like “you’re young! you don’t know what you want or what’s going to happen!) (I thought this too but I’m not dumb and know myself more than anyone on this site)

It sounds like annoying ass family members telling you how you’re going to change your mind about having kids…….women are getting tired of men and waking up, why is it wrong to not want to associate with them anymore ?? you don’t need men to survive, i promise.

Sometimes re-hyperfixating on Gravity Falls is realising that,,, Ford has a LOT of crimes under his name thanks to Stan. Stan's record would still be like,,, bad obviously but he kept committing crimes after taking Ford's name so unless they did anything to put it all back on Stan Ford is just,,, a fucked up criminal like his brother in the eyes of the law 😭

You know, I've always wondered what would happen if the Shie Hassaikai and the League formed a proper alliance.

Shigaraki said that they didn't have a healer in their party, which Overhaul could have filled that spot.

Overhaul needed more money and resources to speed up the process and manufacturing of his quirk erasing bullets and the serum.

Of course, their goals and both wanting to become the Underworlds new King made them clash.

Still would have been nice to see, even an alternate timeline, if The Villain Won.

If Overhaul and Shigaraki had won.

It's not just me, right?

Overhaul could have easily brought Magne back to life, and fixed Mr Compress' arm easily, if he wanted to. Hell, I bet he could have fixed the damage of their meeting spot as to not alert The Heroes.

He chose not to.

He wanted to let Shigaraki and the League know that he was a threat. It was a power move, but to be fair, Magne did attack Overhaul first.

They didn't know Overhaul's quirk which put them at a disadvantage. They didn't know his goal or intentions until after their meeting.

It was just a big mess.

Still makes you wonder, you know?

I've covered it before and heard it plenty of times, but you can notice that depending on who he's talking to and the air in the room, Overhaul will act accordingly. Match their tone or attitude sort speak.

If someone is blunt and cruel, he will fire right back.

If someone is clam and relaxed, he gives the same energy.

I could seriously go on and on about this birdman! X/////////////x I miss him so damn much!

I'm sorry Shiggy, but Overhaul is still my favorite villain in MHA and Dabi is speeding flamed arrows into my heart, but you are still my 3rd fav Villain, I promise!

Nihilus is objectively the saddest Star Wars character to me. There's not even someone close. His eldritch abomination of a life was never due to any decisions he himself made. The only mistake he made was not completely cutting himself off from the Force as you did but how could someone expect a Jedi to do that? The Force is their life, they live and breathe it. (In this case very much to his detriment) Due to YOU the Jedi Exile, activating the Mass Shadow Generator you turned him into a hole in the Force sucking in and destroying the thing he as an average Jedi loved most in the world. And now he's dragging billions down with him.

OBEY ME NIGHTBRINGER LESSON 11 SPOILERS AHEAD/OBEY ME LESSON 16 SPOILERS

I'm breaking my own heart here. Imagine the sudden feeling of panic the brothers would feel after seeing Belphegor trying to kill the MC. None of them understanding why though.

Mammon feeling his chest tightening and the sudden urge to get between the attendant and his youngest brother.

Leviathan almost trembling with how he is trying to keep his temper under control, his tail thrashing behind him. All he wants is to whack the youngest away so you were safe.

Asmodeus stuck to where he's standing by the panic. His hands wanting to grab at you and pull you out the Colleseum, away from the danger.

Lucifer getting struck the hardest with how he is internally panicking. He has the power to save you, but he doesn't really know you. After all, you had lied to them and seemed to have an unexplainable power. However, he still fights against the need to protect you from Belphegor and create a new space for his youngest.

None of them know why these feelings have come through. And they had no time to act since Solomon had swooped in to save you.
