Eldritch Moon - P 1

“There’s going to be a Blood Moon tonight,” Zelda says over dinner as if this is all the facts they need. Wild has commandeered an arm, nuzzling absently at it between bites. She ignores him as if this, too, is normal.

“Blood…moon?” Twilight shakes his head, still shooting side glances at Warriors, who sits as far away as he can get. “I’m not too familiar with that.”

She shoves a spoonful of mashed potatoes in her mouth. “Maybe it’s just something in our time,” she mumbles as she chews. Definitely no princess manners here. “It’s a leftover of the Calamity. Used to happen every month, but now it’s been pretty random. I think it’s getting less over time but,” she shrugs.

Wild pats his captured arm.

“But what is it?” Wind waves a fork, nearly flinging his carrot chunk. “And what’s it got to do with Twi?”

“The Blood Moon brings the Calamity’s monster back to life. It’s dark magic. Wild here,” she holds up her captured arm and the champion growls slightly, pulling it back. “He’s affected by the magic so I’ll ask you to stay with me tonight. As for your Twilight…I don’t know enough to say. Have you encountered dark magic before?”

Twilight’s wolf form is clearly at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts.

“I dun know what came over me,” he mumbles at his plate. “Twas a right mess in ma head and I just…” The rancher shoots another look at his friend. “Sorry, Wars.”

Warriors waves it off, but the wary look remains. “Don’t worry, Hyrule was there to help. But ah…” he turns to Zelda. “Is that going to happen again tonight?”

“I don’t know.” With a sigh, she pushes her potatoes across her plate. “I know how to deal with Wild, but I’m not sure about your rancher. My divinity from Hylia acts as a shield. If it doesn’t keep away the magic, Twilight, it might be best if you join Link outside.”

Time frowns and leans forward. “What do you mean outside?”

“Oh, usually I let Link go outside Kakariko Village. There’s plenty of open land for him to run around in and no one around except monsters.”

“Um.” Hyrule starts to raise his hand on instinct, then pulls it down at the odd looks. “Wild is…not a dog?”

She stares back impassively. “No, he’s not.”

When she doesn’t elaborate, Hyrule subsides. Legend, sitting next to him, bumps his shoulder. Dinner continues with awkward conversation. Wild seems to be slowly losing interest in Zelda’s arm and glancing increasingly at the door.

I decided that a four-way would be the most interesting matchup to end on.

"Do not attempt to stay my spear, bloodsucker, or you will feel it yourself."

I cannot quite recall his title, but I see him. His face ripples with leeches, slithering just beneath the skin. He reeks of blood.

"Avacyn," he says. "I need you to come with me down to the cellar. You'll see what I must do, if you'll just wait for a moment—"

"My mission never waits," I answer. I hurl the holy magic at him, and it hits him full in the chest.

The vampire is unmoved.

"Avacyn," he says. "The cellar. We have business we must attend to."

"Sorin," says one of the creatures, her empty eyes directed to the vampire. "You can help her, can't you?"

"Silence," he snaps, and the demons jolt with the force of his voice. He turns to me again. "Listen to me. If you have some grievance with these two, you may kill them before we begin."

The two fiends look at each other.

"But I won't permit you to leave this place until our business is concluded."

A peek into the next chapter for my Eldritch horror Sun and Moon x reader story;

Moth cryptid (that toooootally isn't my SB oc): *tries to steal food from reader and their friends*

The eldritch bois: *catches said cryptid and holds her up by her neck floof*

Reader: *after returning to camp- looking at the boys holding this poor, terrified moth cryptid* What are you two doing to the poor thing?

The boys: it was stealing food

Reader: *looks at the cryptid* hungry?

Moth: *nodding*

Reader: *glaring at the boys* let them go *looks to the cryptid* I'm sorry, they're assholes

Boys: *whining like puppies that got scolded* but

Reader: *tiny human giving death glares to 15ft tall eldritch beings* no buts, you heard me.

{I love my Eldritch Horror boys so much, they're just like puppies and cats following their little human around}

i’m really digging the new (?) phrexia stuff. it’s cool and very scary.

My first set(s) was the return to Innistrad - so the sets of Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon. I still have the first deck I built for myself, a Red-Green Wolf/Werewolf deck.

My favorite set, however, is Streets of New Capenna. Demons in suits? I'm already barking.

Okay..here me out-

The JL finding out about Phantom due to him being trapped in his eldritch primal form (four arms, lots of wings, eyes, spacey and basically biblically accurate angel).

But it's not because of a fight or anything.

It's because happy fluffy feathered eldritch decided to take a dust bath on the Fucking Moon. Just confused JL watching this eldritch creatures wiggling and flapping up moondust cause his wings are itchy and HE IS SO HAPPY TO BE IN SPACE.

Mermaid Moon, Sun and Eclipse have a different visible light spectrum so they actually can see your lovely human stripes!!<3

You often would carefully trace their own patterns with your fingertips when any of them allowed you that close. And the sound of purring would always let you know that they don't mind.

But you never could really understand why their caress followed a specific pattern as well. It was interesting, as each of them always followed the same direction, their claws gently gliding over your skin when you weren't wearing your diving costume. You doubted they secretly agreed to mess with you in that way. Plus, their eyes followed some invisible path too... You could see their scleras dilate every time.

Whatever they saw, they found it beautiful.

Y’know, there’s a bunch of Billy adopted by Danny Phantom stories and prompts. But what if instead he was adopted by reformed Dan Phantom. 

Give him a dad who is trying his best not to murder but Billy is making it very hard not to at least commit a few crimes. It’s just a few, right? It couldn’t be that bad, but he is trying this whole self-restraint thing.  He hasn’t failed. Yet.
