a lot of people tended to say that sirius and regulus looked alike, but the marauders and their friends never quite believed it. they looked much to different with one brother being so expressive with his facial features and the other wearing a mask that never slips.

it wasn’t until one day when barty had managed to convince regulus to pull a cute little joke on evan which then led to evan chasing them down the halls of hogwarts with nothing but murder on his mind. while running they managed to run into the posse of gryffindors as well as dorcas who was with them, and while passing, the group (bar dorcas) had to do a double take because the boy that had just passed them with a mischievous smile plastered on his face looked just like sirius.

The girls (Valkyries and Emeralds girls) totally just adopted regulus out of nowhere

And at first he was confused but now the Stockholm syndrome has kicked in and he's just part of the girls' club

One day Dorcas was like 'can I introduce you to my friend Mary?' And suddenly he knows their deepest secrets, has been added into their hypothetical wedding plans, and has met all of their parents (not that his parents can ever know he's so close with them)

This is also largely because he spent so much time with his cousins growing up that the girls were like 'no no, I can sense it, this one is alright, he stays' and he's too broody and quiet to argue with them

It makes no sense to everyone else, especially not poor reg but he just goes with it anyway bc they're all amazing

Sirius: can we join you guys?

Lily, Marlene, Pandora, Dorcas: no. It's a girls night, find your own hobbies

Emerald Evans ✤ Lightning Strikes

Emerald Evans would have once called herself perfectly normal, thank you very much.  Raised by her Aunt Mary in Little Whinging, happy if a little bit lonely, her life was entirely average.  Or so she thought, until a scrawny boy named Harry, with a funny scar and the same eyes as hers, walked into her classroom on the first day of primary school, and everything changed.  More and more often she was noticing things that were decidedly not normal — Aunt Mary holding something that had been across the room only moments before, ending up on a roof with no memory of moving, snakes that sounded more like whispers than hissing.  Little things and no so little things all piling up into one overwhelming, unsolvable puzzle, building and building right up to her eleventh birthday, when an owl flew into her window holding an envelope, of all things.

saw this post about regulus wearing glasses and I LOVE IT SO MUCH

cause imagine regulus who’s contacts had been ruined by barty (he was messing around as he does and accidentally knocked down regulus’ side table making his contacts fall on the floor, leaving them unusable) so he HAS to wear his glasses so he could see cause it would take at least a day for his new contacts to come in.

but being his stubborn and vain self he doesn’t want to because for one, he thinks it makes him look stupid and two, it doesn’t really match him or his face shape (it does he just doesn’t want to admit it) so he settled for squinting his eyes at any given moment just so he would not have to wear his godforsaken glasses. though his squinting doesn’t do that much for him considering the number of times he seemed to bump into things, people, and walls.

by the time they had reached the great hall his friends had enough. pandora accio-ed regulus’ glasses and handed it to dorcas who had put it on its owner with a strong sticking charm while barty and evan held him in place.

safe to say that regulus has not bumped into anything or anyone after that and the glasses stayed on until his contacts came. he also got a few compliments for it.

not to mention a similarly bespectacled boy from the gryffindor table looking at him with heart eyes, which had a lovestruck shine to them (double than they usually are), thinking about how cute his crush is and how if they had had a child the child would have blurry eyesight just like his fathers.
