I managed to make my Shadamy dream coherent enough for my friend so I'll just copy paste here (note there is mild nsfw themes but nothing explicit)

ok one part that I remember pretty clearly and don't wanna lose in case I wanna use it for other things

so the context i can remember, this dream was very rom com coded -- shadow was kind of orbiting around the friend group, he was working at GUN (I HATE when canon makes him do that but whatever we ball), Amy was a 9-5 worker, and Sonic and co were doing their usual schtick, ANYWAY

so ig Sonic and them are wanting intel on something GUN is up to but asking Shadow (or Rouge) outright is out of the question, but Sonic notices how much Shadow kind of hovers around Amy so they convince Amy to get closer to him to get info. At first, Amy is all for it bc ♡Sonic♡ and also she wants to be a hero too so she asks Shadow hang out and stuff and is surprised that Shadow is so willing and actually super fun to be around bc he just kind of let's her do her thing, he's thoughtful, and easy to talk to

some how or other their relationship progresses to like super physical lolll

and at one point Amy, being the frugal queen she is, buys a slinky, bougie black dress and tucks the price tag inside so she can return it later after their "date" (they're not like together together yet but they fuck and chill so) and Amy walks in and Shadow is like "nice dress" and she's like "thank you~~ I had to use my credit card but don't worry! [she flashes the price tag still attached] I'm gonna return it! pretty smart right?"

and shadow is like "...how much was it?"

Amy "like 5000 dollars:P so no tearing this off me in a fit of passion mister 😘"

shadow "let me buy it for you"

Amy "eh?? no way!! this is way too expensive!!"

shadow "let me buy it for you, bc im definitely tearing this off of you tonight "

dare I say this patch is better than the entire penacony arc, for me at least. idk, it feels less dialogue-heavy than penacony. the characters are still using more words than they need to, but not to the point where i question if their throat is getting dry. except aglaea, I think 😭 but i think that part was intentional lmao. all in all, definitely left an impression, but a foreboding one.
