when you’re sick or injured and confined to your bed, Foul Legacy Childe worries and frets so much. he knows that you’re smaller and more delicate than he is at any time, but now you just seems so fragile, laying there drifting in and out of unconsciousness. he does his best to make sure you’re comfortable, bringing you water and medication and food and staying by your side, petting your hair with gentle claws. whenever you’re awake you smile at him, tired but still trying to comfort him, and Childe wants to cry at the way you wince and cough when you just try to breathe.
but he doesn’t, wanting to stay strong for you, like you do for him, and instead clambers onto the bed next to you and snuggles himself over top of you. he’s like a warm, heavy blanket, purring and gently kneading your arms as you reach out to hold his chin in your hands. you murmur “hi” with a small smile and hoarse voice, and Childe rumbles in satisfaction when your hands begin to thread through his fluffy ginger hair. soon your eyes begin to droop from the warmth and comfort, hands slowing and trailing down Childe’s mask-like face. your beloved Abyssal monster coos and scoots himself closer, until he’s close enough to press his cheek against your collarbone, his hair tickling your nose. you scratch behind one of his horns and his purrs lilt as he happily leans into your hands.
you’re tired. your lungs hurt, and your head feels fuzzy, like the whole world is blurry. but at least you have a soft, purring Childe to help you recover, and you wouldn’t trade anything in world for him.

I’ve had similar issues with weight loss (gained weight when i was sick then lost ~25% of what was my entire body weight) and now my girls have deflated 😔 One day i really want to get a lift done, maybe implants too, but it all kinda scares me. I can’t really feel my nips either (or a lot of my body — thanks neuropathy!) so I guess that’s one less thing to worry about 😂 I’m just gonna stick to saving for fillers/botox for my face in the meantime 😬

Hello you mentioned in your most recent post that you are hacking your metabolism by eating very small intermittent meals instead of one meal a day. Can you elaborate on that? I want to get better at this. My biggest fear going on T is getting big and fat and ugly. Thank you.

So, what I mean is - I have my allotted calories for the day, right? Like for example, right now I’m restricting to around 1000/1200 a day (disclaimer: that’s what works for me for a sustainable, slow but steady weight loss, I’m just saying that to give an example, that number is different for anyone and being super honest, eating this much before t would’ve made me gain weight lol so just substitute that with whatever number you’re personally comfortable with), and I just kinda plan my day of eating around that - I try to never go more than three hours without eating something (usually more like two tho lol), even if it’s just something small like a handful of nuts or a single biscuit or a piece of candy or a fruit! This server the purpose of 1. Keeping my metabolism active by telling my body it’s gotta burn any food it gets because more will come as soon as it’s done using that up and 2. Keeping myself in a state of that empty, hungry feeling without going full into ravenous/starving (I /hate/ feeling full, it makes me feel gross, but I also fucked too much with heavy restriction when I was a young teen and now I can’t go to that level of hunger without it leading to an involuntary binge), for that reason I always have some type of snack on me at all times lol - it doesn’t have to be a prepackaged snack, it can literally be some nuts you put in a bag, a slice of bread in plastic wrapping, a fruit, whatever you can get away with wrapping up and stuffing in a bag/backpack/pocket. Either way, I do that because ideally, I have a schedule I like to keep to (a hearty breakfast, depending on whether I’m waking up early or late some kind of light snack after, then lunch around 12am to 1pm (research says that the “no lunch after 2pm” rule is bullshit but… I personally am terrified of it lol), then after that I try not to eat anything until my 4/5pm snack (sooner or later depending on when lunch was), and then I’ll probably be grazing on something small all the way until dinner, which I keep at around 7/8pm - honestly if you’re staying up very late I’m pretty sure you can get away with after-dinner snacks as long as the timing and quantity is right, I just personally have a rule to not eat anything after dinner not just for ED reasons, but also because I have very bad GERD and I like to make sure my stomach is fully empty before I sleep so I don’t have acid up my throat all night) and if any of it gets disrupted in any way because life's just like that sometimes, I can still have something on me to fill that "put something in you once every three hours" gap and give me more time until i'm able to actually eat what i had planned to.
I get that snacking can feel daunting, but if you prepare your snacks beforehand and already know the calorie amount of the whole thing, and add that up to your daily intake and gradually pick at it through the day, as long as you stick to that it will be fine - honestly I personally enjoy this a lot more than eating something whole in one go, because that way I can enjoy it for longer, I don’t get the gross “full” feeling that makes me feel guilty after, and I know it all serves to keep my metabolism up.
Last thing I’d say is, like I mentioned I keep my meals sliding scale - aka, I generally try to have the most food at once earlier in the day, and as I go through the day slowly decrease (after all, if food is fuel, what do you need it for if the day is almost over? I think of it kinda like tipping up a fuel tank, you wouldn’t put in more than you need but you need to stay in this sweet spot where the body doesn’t think it needs to save fuel for a famine, so if you want to have a cheat meal/food, earlier in the day is best since that will still act as fuel), and like I said if you pick from the same pre-portioned snacks you already know how much it takes up in your caloric intake, but if you add any extra you can just remove a little bit from your next meal.

🎀 Current At Home Workout Equipment I Own
Thick Yoga Mat - since I do mainly yoga and pilates my thick yoga may (amazon brand) has served me well. Even tho I am a heavier woman at the moment, I've never had pain or any issues with this mat, and it came with a carry strap which I love! A good, thick workout mat is definitely necessary for working out at home for comfort, safety, etc. Make sure to disinfect it on occasion, especially if you sweat on it a lot!
Resistance Bands - I have about 3 or 4 at different resistance strengths, and they're incredibly useful for a variety of movements, especially lower body ones. They add some extra resistance and make the workouts a bit more challenging when you need something more advanced. I also got mine from Amazon/Walmart a while back. I prefer fabric over rubber because I like to wear workout shorts instead of workout leggings.
Pilates Ball - not a necessity, but useful with some pilates workouts and movements. I have seen sole videos using this, but am not advanced enough to try it on my own yet. Will use for sure once I'm more advanced.
3lb dumbbells - I thought these would be useful for the pilates workouts that had some upper body focus, and as someone who wants to develop a lean and toned upper body, they are perfect for low weight high rep, controlled movements. Again, not advanced enough to use as I want to master my form, but they're gonna come in handy for sure!
Foam Roller - so so good for stretching and muscle recovery on rest days. I love mine but want one that has the bump things on it to help my muscles more. I can imagine how good it'll feel on my legs during a recovery day when I begin wieght lifting again.
Massage Gun - my holy grail for the days I am sore and needing some recovery. my body feels like jelly after using this, and it's just so nice for the days my muscles feel extra tight and super sore.
🎀 Equipment I Want To Buy
Yoga Blocks - these will help me get deeper into the yoga poses once I get more advanced in my practice
Pilates Ring - this honestly looks so fun and challenging to use, I'd love to add it to my collection of useful workout equipment!
Jump Rope - I used to love this as a form of cardio and as long as I don't move into an upstairs apartment, I'm definitely buying one
Pilates Bar - still iffy on this one, it's supposed to mimic a reformer but I want to get better at mat pilates and see if I even end up ever needing or seriously wanting to buy it, its on my list tho
Ankle/Wrist weights - these are gonna be so useful for workouts where hand held dumbbells aren't useful. Want to buy some low weight ones just to help with resistance and extra strength during pilates workouts
Kettlebell weight - I think this would be useful for a workout at home type situation if and when I switch to not doing just pilates and yoga. I know these are useful in their own right, but not needed in my current fitness stage of life.
Core Sliders - these look fun and interesting. They're on my lost for sure, but not sure about the practicality of their use in my life just yet.
That's all that's currently on my at home workout equipment list! As someone who primarily works out at home, the things I currently own are most useful and most of what's on this list is for fun or extra challenge. Just not necessary yet.

🎀 Hobbies 🎀
I feel as tho I don't have much time to do things besides school, work, some chores, and survive right now, but I've been thinking about some hobbies I enjoy and would like to incorporate into my life when I decide to make the time without burning out!
Reading - I used to be big on reading just about any books I could get my hands on. Then I was really focused on reading self help, and now that I haven't been reading at all, I've been thinking about getting back into reading. Always looking for book recommendations, and I do have my eye on some books I'd like to purchase.
Gardening - if I had the time and space, I'd love to have a flower garden or a vegetable garden. It always makes me happy when the fruits of my efforts come to life, so tending to plants and gardening sounds super fun and relaxing.
Video Games - I used to play video games on and off, but I wouldn't mind owning a PS4 or a Switch and spending some time playing video games whenever I'd want time to wind down.
Cooking/Baking - I love learning things, and the sense of pride I've gotten in the past when receiving praise for things I've cooked or baked has really driven me to want to increase my skill. I've only baked something from scratch once in my life, but I'd really like to expand my skills in making desserts.
Exercise - I'm talking all forms of it! Dancing, martial arts/kickboxing type activities, yoga, pilates, running, swimming, spin/cycling, weight lifting (again), calisthenics, all of it! I don't currently look like the exercise type but I find various forms of movement to be so fun! If I had more time, I'd be trying new things all the time!
Volunteer work - This is something I used to do all the time, and it's a hobby that I enjoyed that kept me humble. Not only that, but I thoroughly enjoy showing kindness and compassion to others. Making a difference in anuwau brings me so much joy, and I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I also would love to volunteer with animals, because they deserve so much love and affection too!
Drawing/Art - I used to draw for fun but when I started college, I didn't have the time to devote to continuously increasing my art skills. I still own a sketch kit, coloring materials, and several sketchbooks so it really is a matter of having time.
Crochet - The thought of making things that I can gift to others seriously makes me so excited!! Crochet seems like such a fun, crafty, relaxing activity and the added fun of gifting those crafts to others would make it so fun!!
Scrapbooking - I don't know if I'd ever do this one, but I do Ike the idea of keeping my memories in a physical space, and not just in like pictures on my phone.
Learning - if school wasn't crazy busy, I'd spend all my time learning languages (ASL, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Italian, etc), computer coding skills, how to make and do certain things, just anything I can do to keep my mind enriched.
Upcycling/Altering Clothes - I would love to upcycle or alter articles of clothes into more personalized pieces for myself. The thought of having a personalized, hand made closet full of clothes makes me really want to buy a sewing machine and learn how to use it to my advantage!
That's all I can think of for now that I'd like to someday incorporate into my life. Having hobbies is always so fun, but I've been so busy and tired that I don't mess with any of the hobbies I'd want to do. If anyone has any tips for time management, or resources for beginning new hobbies, please let me know!!

#diary#personal#oooon another note im gonna buy some shit today it seems.#i have birthday money and i calculated how much money i should be getting from my job n shit#so i think i wont get too stressed about dropping far too much money yet again...#i just have a lot of things i need and want!!!!#im gonna get a new binder (i no joke needed one for about 5 or 6 years now)#and im gonna get another weighted blanket. i think ill get one twice the weight of my current one bc i often fold it in half rn#and when i do it feels better than just flat out. itll be 20lbs vs 10lbs#and then i think i need to order more new underwear. its gonna have mushrooms on it lmao!!!#i was gonna also order some new clothing but unfortunately ording all this crap will be like. 500 dollars ;-;#haaaah i hate it. luckily tho with the help of my birthday money i should have more than enough for this when combined with my pay#usually i earn about maybe 400 dollars a month. so i have to be careful about spending. but oh well.#its sorta a good idea to buy these things anyways. in the future ill probably buy more binders tbh. theyre just really fucking costly ones.#its an sensory friendly binder made by an autistic nonbinary person in australia. so should suit me better than the other ones.#i have a really hard time with binders. i can tollerate them but its sorta like having a thorn under your skin.#same is true for all my sensory issues really. i can tollerate them. but as it goes on it becomes infected and bursts.#so if i can eliminate one more thing thatd probably be best.#im trying to be gentler with myself. but its very frustrating.#i have so much i wish to do. but sometime. i cant. and it hurts. and its sad. and it makes me feel overwhelmed.#well either way if i like it yall will probably hear about it. if i like it a lot who knows maybe ill even write a review or something#i really do appreciate the things people make and do for me.#my dad has been making me sandwhiches the last two days. and its very nice. i havent been having as much trouble bc of it#i dont know how to explain it. but food makes me very stressed. i have to plan out what i want and then im generally good.#but if i dont have enough ingredients? i get stuck. and sometimes even cant eat#if im very upset ill even go without eating. because if i were to try id most likely either throw it out or meltdown...#disordered eating#its... something that started in highschool. possibly bc thats when i started having to make my own meals more and more.#haaah. hopefully one day itll be easier to deal with. but im not hopeful. i already deal with it pretty well i think

“guys, GUYS, cut it out!” you yell for the umpteenth time at the two reckless boys who have been wrestling for god knows how long.
it was never your intention to fall in love with your twin’s best friend but that idiot stole your heart and now you have to share your boyfriend with your brother and make sure they don’t get themselves killed.
they’re the definition of ‘dumb and dumber’.
“sorry, babe, i’m winning!” jj yells while he straddles john b and you can only throw your head back in exhaustion.
you’re currently lying on your favorite hammock and trying to read a book but it’s impossible to concentrate with all the commotion happening in the yard. when you hear your boyfriend shouting something in the lines of ‘i won’, you can finally go back to the book in your hands.
or at least you think you can.
jj runs to you with his arms up in the air to celebrate his victory.
“i won, baby,” he says when he’s in front of you, sweating and panting from the fight.
“that’s great, j,” you don’t even look at him, this has got to be the third or fourth time he has done this today.
“aren’t you gonna gimme a kiss?” he puckers his lips and you can’t help but lift your head, his sweet voice winning you over.
“c’mere,” you gesture to him to bend down and then you peck his lips, but a pout is left on them when you pull away too soon.
“nooo, i want a real kiss,” he whines and you have to roll your eyes.
“john b is literally there,” you point to your twin who’s lying on the grass and not even listening to you two, too busy trying to regain his breath.
“he can’t see us, baby, c’mon.”
before you can even give him an answer, he throws himself on you and lifts his weight off your body placing his hands on either side of your head.
“now, lemme kiss my girlfriend.”
his lips find yours again in a toe curling kiss, reminding you why you can’t stay away from your golden retriever of a boyfriend. you soon find yourself having a make out session with him as you run your fingers through his hair and one of his hands goes under your shirt. a sigh leaves your mouth at the feeling of his hands on your body and he smirks on your lips.
“seriously? couldn’t you have waited until i was in the house? fucking disgusting,” john b’s voice pulls you out of your little world and forces you to push jj away from you, while his head falls in your neck.
“sorry, bro!” he yells and you giggle looking at your twin who’s now walking inside your shared home while he shakes his head in disbelief.
“i’m sorry, jb!” you also shout and he gives you the middle finger before closing the door behind him.
“he’s gonna kill you one of these days, you know that?” you joke, but his lips on your neck distract you and you let a hand fall on his head to play with his hair.
he hums, “so fucking worth it,” he mumbles on your skin and you smile at his words.
“yeah?”
jj lifts his head to look at you and those sweet eyes of him make you melt, “i’d die the happiest man ever.”
you laugh and he swears it’s the best sound he’s ever heard.
“plus, if he didn’t kill me when he found out about us, he never will,” he adds.
memories of that day flood your mind: jj accidentally falling asleep after spending the night together, john b entering your room to tell you that he made you breakfast and finding you in his best friend’s arms, both of you completely naked, waking up to your twin shouting at jj while he run away from your crazy brother.
“remember how red he was?” you smile at the funny memory.
“oh yeah, i also remember how purple my eye was,” his lips leave another kiss on your neck.
“shit, right.”
he kisses you again, catching you by surprise, “worth it,” he whispers on your lips.
later that night you find yourself resting on your boyfriend’s chest while the two of you are about to fall asleep on your shared bed. jj’s arm is tightly wrapped around your torso and his other hand is on your naked thigh, stroking the soft skin and making you hum at the feeling.
someone knocks gently on the door and wakes you up slightly.
“come in!” you say but it’s impossible for you to shout when you’re so relaxed.
john b enters your room with his eyes covered with one hand.
“are you decent?”
you roll your eyes, but unfortunately your boyfriend’s answer comes faster than yours, “oh no, we’re definitely having sex right now. that’s why we told you to come in.”
“you’re disgusting, jj, you know that?” he finally lowers his hand, “just wanted to say goodnight, you idiot. goodnight, pickle.”
