Please understand that, more often than not, works of fiction are a fictional exploration of concepts and ideas rather than a declaration of morality

#there’s a difference between fiction that condones disgusting things and one that’s breaking them apart and analyzing them through fiction #reading comprehension and understanding context is important YALL #please I beg learn how to separate fiction from reality folks #every so often I’ll see people making WILD claims about a person because they wrote a complex and flawed character #most of the people I know who enjoy exploring dark and questionable themes in their work are the kindest and most selfless people I know #while the people who sit atop a pedestal and judge every aspect of a stranger that they don’t know turn out to be the most selfish and vile #i should not be scared to write a story about morally questionable characters finding humanity #but yet here we are #Ive seen this kinda stuff do more harm than good too many times #sorry to post a hot take #just good lord I’m old I’ve seen this shit too many times #stop eating each other #you will see conflict and dark themes in my stories #if you cant handle messy themes in fiction please feel free to unfollow or block me for your own mental well-being #I’m sure I’ll regret posting this later but just putting it out there #hate being reminded that as a creator strangers are staring at you and making horrifying assumptions about who you are as a person

RWB unfortunately only gets worse as the weeks go by 💀 MC is as two-dimensional as they come. And literally her every waking moment is spent either talking to/about Drew, hanging out with Drew, or thinking about Drew. It’s pathetic and annoying. Genuinely don’t think any of the MCs in PB’s other cheap romances were this damn bad. And the thing is that if Drew were even remotely as interesting and attractive as they try to make him out to be, maybe the story could still be a bit fun despite all of this. But he has about as much draw as a bonfire would on the hottest day of summer in Death Valley

naturally i’m gonna be very upset at 6:09 am after an all-nighter over my brother and his actions

#personal #not the middle one we’re okay rn and talking again and he helped me get with my new job #even tho we haven’t spoken about the door and im not supposed to know he paid for it #so good but watch out #the eldest one i’m like hey i was gonna forgive ghosting me or flaking on plans you made with me for our dad #or not communicating that you already got everything done with said dad and all i really knew was my dad asking asking asking for his #eldest son and struggling for an answer for him #and even like not checking on me at all after i got kicked out and bringing a girl back and asking me to pretend to be asleep #god i regret not sleeping in a rest stop like planned that was so much worse #and also you and other brother just ignoring me begging for help telling you i got back into my ed and honestly going through the worst #time of my life also weed dependent to just cope and also my job sucked. minor but still #but again was ready to let it go bc you were so obviously in pain at the funeral i couldn’t be mad at that #but like why. after i offered to clean up after ur dogs did you um. ask me to do it again #then cussed me out after i asked that you don’t ask on the dot of when my shifts end #and then after mom told me i was selfish while struggling with a full time job and taking care of my dying father and struggling with that #and i was just asking what ur living situation was bc i felt like. hm. being told i’m awful for struggling during my dads death is a lot #instead of just saying no you go on a rant about how when we finally want to move in with you you’re doing something else and general #shit giving. instead of again. just saying no. or hell. checking on me.#so it’s like i’ll love you until every star gives out i can’t fucking look at you bc i’m so hurt #we haven’t talked since then and im not gonna hear from him till he asks what i want from christmas or he needs something #christ last time he checked on me was a segway to helping me going about the hoarder house as he loves calling it #i can’t believe i sent him photos of our dads writing saying i love you and his only question was is it still hoarder central #i was gonna type something mean i’m gonna lay down #i don’t want any gifts why would i want a gift. told him that i was hurt and didn’t want a gift my birthday and he responded and it’s gonna #and he’s didn’t respond*#be the same game during christmas #you brought a girl over on such an awful fucking night for me why would i want a gift #and it’s not like he hasn’t been there and doesn’t love me it’s just i’m hurt #and it’s not like he had all this space and my other brother and i never used it! i got kicked out and stayed a night!#other brother moved in with you! sorry circumstances led to me staying longer! just say no!

Momma doesn’t want her opinions of my dad to change my views on him, yet in reality, my respect for him had diminished two ish years ago when he didn’t trust my mom with something they were both being secretive about, but as the smart and eldest daughter I was able to piece it all together.

In reality he is a manipulative and selfish bastard who cares for nothing other than himself, despite his claims that he loves the siblings and I.

If you really loved us, you would be more considerate and flexible and kind. You haven’t been kind. You have been awful and said awful stuff about my mother that is not true. Anything she has said about you is stuff that I not already knew, but is stuff that is visible.

maybe I truly am just my mother’s child, but I can’t deal with a father who isn’t nice to me, isn’t nice to my siblings, and most importantly, is so fucking awful to my mother.

I want him to stop trying to fix whatever he thought he broke. Reality is that I haven’t trusted him in years because when I did go to him, he never helped with shit. He never actually helped and made stuff worse because he always tries for peace but never understood that my situations didn’t need peace I needed someone to take away the person who mentally abused and manipulated me but he instead instigated her by not stopping her from anything. Despite my complaints and his so called superior knowledge just because he’s a fucking adult.

I COULDNT HAVE STOPPED ANYTHING MY EX BEST FRIEND DID BY BEING NICE. I WAS OBLY EVER NUCE AND SEE WHAT THAT GOT ME?? TRUST ISSUES. SELF WORTH ISSUES. MILD BODY DYSMORPHIA. I CANT ENJOY MUSICALS OR WEAR HEADBANDS OR WEAR SPARKLY SHIRTS OR KEEP MY HAIR LONG. ALL BECAUSE OF HER AND HE DIDNT TRY TO HELP DESPITE MY ASKING
