It would be soooo cool if the OVA had a framework narrative of the kids and Shadow wanting to know more matchablossom when they were younger and bullying them into talking about it, so we get this whole history laid out EXCEPT Kaoru and Kojro can’t agree on what actually happened in some parts so the story keeps getting interrupted by one of them being like, “That’s NOT what happened. Let me tell it.” I can think of NOTHING more on brand for them. I want this so bad.

As for season 2, do you have any theories about what’s going to happen next? <3 I’ve been thinking about it, but I’m not really sure. I feel like it’s just wishful thinking lmao but I’d love to see Kiriko taking Ad*m down and then everyone else having to deal with the drama of S being shut down as a result, maybe having to find another place to skate and that sort of thing. Again, might be wishful thinking, but I’d also love to see Renga go canon (they’re basically there already, I just want to hear them SAY IT) andddd I’m crossing my fingers for a matchablossom subplot of some kind… I would also LOVE another found family vacation, but maybe this time they could go to Canada and try snowboarding adjkgdsjkgjkdsg. My thoughts are all over the place, I’m just so excited about the possibilities.
