so, fellow aspec people, what are y'all's relationship to gay as an umbrella term? I've seen a lot of aroace people call themselves gay despite *technically* not being, and personally I've always been confused by that

(and also— I'd imagine that aroallo or alloace people who are gay for their other orientation would automatically include themselves with that term, but what about the arohets and acehets? how do y'all feel about the use of gay as an umbrella term?)

I'm just curious about other people's experiences bc i as an aromantic person feel rather uncomfortable being grouped in as gay because I've never been attracted to another man before, but anecdotally i seem to be in the minority

Hey, so I've decided to share some views/thoughts I had on each sign placement whether it was sun,moon or venus. Please share your thoughts about the signs and their views on love! I'm open for the discussion. But yeah. I hope yall enjoy!

Cancer Suns romantic nature can express itself with leo partners easily. Believe it or not. It is because both tend to want the most out of passionate affairs and leo shows the playful side while cancers show the mystic, hidden side of romance. I believe these two to be really good at making love to each other as one is a representation of the sun (leo) and the other the moon. Also, cancer suns can get along with any leo placement, doesnt matter which one. They balance each other out very well.

Scorpio placements need water placements (other scorpios in particular) in order to truly be understood. It is because these placements are a mirror in their romantic life, for better or for worse. And they need someone who understands their darkness, let alone their karma.

Scorpio placements such as Venus, need a special romance with someone. Even if they though sleep around, there will always be someone out there for them, who shares the same amount of passion and intensity they crave. Not everyone will see this character, it is saved for only one person. And sometimes its just in their mind.

Pisces Venus need to write a book on the love affairs they have in their minds lol. Similar to the scorpio venus, they have room for only one love affair that could stand the test of time. This isn't 'real' persay, but romance with them isn't practical and they need others who can fit into their world, because the imagination is what will run far in their love life. If you can keep them from being bored, then you will have them for ages.

Cancer placements & scorpio placements are the tantra lovers. Their love can be so deep and profound, it will leave a mark on anyone they have that strong compatibility with.

Gemini placements making a square to your sun sign or venus can show a deep appreciation and charismatic nature on their part, believe it or not. They NEED tension or else it will be too smooth, too flowy. And before you ask, doesn't everybody want that? Why, yes.. But geminis are typically like this on their day to day anyways. That's just in their nature. They need something challenging to spark their interests. Ironically, they will love you a lot more if you beat them to the punch. ;)

Virgos & Scorpios can make for a gifted experience together. This is because these two placements form a natural sextile together. They know each others tics, and how to appreciate the flow of their being. Virgos will allow the scorpio their alone time and be the calm auras that they need when their facing certain phases of darkness. Scorpios will be the penetrating touch that the virgo needs when they're feeling. a little anxious. Both come together like the two serpents that they are and form a connection that is raw, powerful and unique.

Aries placements need lovers who are CONFIDENT. And if you're not this will not work out well. This is why they're great with leo and sag placements, and can do very well with scorpios. A little secret is that if your not confident in bed, you're not going to do well with them... And they'll run you like a train if you're not able to stand ten toes to them, let alone when they want to tear open your insides.

Libra suns & moons have the gifted ability to make anyone feel wanted and loved when their in their horizons. So much so, that their transparent nature can show up in their love for the individual of their choosing and bring them into a world they will never forget. If they have scorpio in their chart this could be a 1 of 1. They are choosy lovers like their virgo companions.

Taurus Suns, Moons & Venus need a lifetime partner. They just dont want anyone. Their sex game is crazy. They are the venusians and their true purpose in life is pleasure. Get you one of them lol. Tauruses need love that makes them forget their past. That calls them into a vacation that doesnt ask for them to leave the country. They need someone who is stable, fine, remarkable and has their self in control. Because taurus is always in control, and they need someone to take the steering wheel from time to time... if you know what I mean ;)

Episode 5: Chapter 15

#2- Also looking for a man I met in my dreams. /j THOUGH!! Technically speaking, did the PC meet anyone in a dream? Unless you count the events at Kisaragi Station to be a dream-? Though, that's pretty unlikely. PS: This is the third time the 'bet you don't know this anomaly' has appeared. Since it was first posted when the PC came to the academy, two months have passed since she began the Hotarubi mission.

Kaito briefly mentioned the dissidents would be happy in the prologue. Though that was for Vagastrom having two ghouls that would affect the power balance. I think Zenji and Suba were in Hotarubi from the start?

#1- lolol, first the Biwa, then Haku supposedly recording others [but he was just recording Zenji] then the doll. #4- Even I wanna know what happened at Emrys for Luca to become a transfer student :< #3- In the og version of the game, there was a character named Mitake Takumi. [Found on animo lol] Though I don't think it's related =x= [Wonder if he was Sho's prototype/beta]

Edward behind a suspect in the murder of the One-Eyed Sleeping Beauty feels like a stretch ngl. [It's just kinda weird? He's an old man, the strongest vamp, sure but he's an old man who watches youtube streams all day.] [Bro was probably sleeping when the Clash occurred. UNLESS it occurred at night, then it's believable he killed someone.] In the prologue, Kaito starts telling us a rumour about the Captain of Obscuary but is stopped when Cornelius interrupts because of the prophecy. [iirc] But, the One-Eyed Sleeping Beauty caused the clash. The suspects are: 1) Jiro Kirisaki - [1st year at the time] 2) Alan Mido - [2nd year at the time] 3) Towa Otonashi - [Ist year at the time] 4) Rui Mizuki - [2nd year at the time] 5) Edward Hart - [399 years old at the time??]/[2nd year at the time] If the PC is the One-Eyed Sleeping Beauty from another timeline, it's very surprising that Taiga isn't on the list. Bro even wants to forget his memories of the day he arrived in Darkwick so nothing would ever happen. [Taiga's so weird man. I love him.]

you do love that he's so caring!

dan heng has zero experience when it comes to relationships and intimacy.

he had very, very high expectations when he first got into a relationship with you...and he really thought you would be blowing up his phone, asking for his attention and just begging for his presence twenty-four seven.

however, it wasn't that bad as he thought it'd be. most likely because you are a stellaron hunter, and thus you were a busy woman. after your date with dan heng, you had vanished for about a day, not even texting dan heng. for once, he was rather worried about you, especially since you showed great interest in him in the beginning, and well...

you kissed him that one night.

in truth, you were actually in the middle of an emergency expedition to help kafka and silver wolf. they needed you, and you had no choice but to go missing for a few hours, causing your little dragon boy to be worried.

luckily for you, you found a moment to catch your breath after sending a world to a self-destructive state, watching as society began to rip each other apart.

your phone buzzed, and your eyes peeled to the notification display that popped up.

➽ dan heng: hey. are you okay?

you grinned to yourself. you couldn't respond yet, but you will respond later.

...but it had been about a few hours since you sent that message. why haven't you responded back yet?

over at the astral express, dan heng laid in bed with a bit of anxiety. he was a boyfriend now, and he hadn't told anyone. and neither have you, so this was a little secret relationship the both of you guys had. however, the man was anxious that he was hiding away in his room, but luckily, it was the dead of night...and his friends were all asleep.

he tried to sleep a couple of times, but he couldn't. all he could think about was you. maybe he should go and grab some melatonin and sleep it off, and-

his hands immediately scramble to his phone, seeing your response.

you successfully infiltrated the astral express' train once again, but this time...something was different. when the door had opened, dan heng greeted you, but...

he froze as his hand went up the air to greet you. his eyes lingered on the bandage that was on your face and your arm was wrapped with bandages...you were injured. but you still came to see him with that flirtatious, cocky smile of yours.

"dan-dan." you cooed quietly as you closed the door behind you, locking it. taking off your shoes, you opened your arms to hug him, but he went up to you instead, hands on your shoulders.

"what? why are you injured? what happened? who did this to you?"

you blinked, staring at dan heng with a puzzled look before smiling. "oh, this? these are just burns and cuts. don't worry about it-"

"let me see your injuries."

you stare at him for a moment, and you would sigh. "look, it's okay, dan-dan. i only got messed up a bit, it's not like i'm dead⸻"

"let me see them, please, y/n."

you stare into his eyes as he gazed upon you with a worried expression, leaving you with a sigh. "alright, dan-dan. since you're so worried."

you move over to the floor to sit down before removing the bandages that was wrapped around your arm. you wince and you flinch, embracing the burning sensation as the cold air of the night kissed your injuries...and god, it stung.

dan heng frowned at the sight before getting up. "i'll be back."

"wait⸻"

you watch as he gets up to go to a different area of his room where he retrieved a box, assuming it was a med kit for you. he approached you, grabbing various of ointments and a few bandages.

"dan-dan, i already took care of it⸻"

"this ointment i have with me is strong enough to cure your injuries in a couple of days."

you decided not to protest. the moment the main was insisting on helping you...there was no used to stopping him. instead, you sheepishly smile, nodding. "..alright." you whisper before you watched him do his work.

applying the ointment to your arm, you flinch, cursing to yourself as you felt the ointment being rubbed on the burning spots.

"fire?" he murmured. "or was it a weapon don on high temperature?" he questioned.

"both," you smile through the pain, "eventually got him, but he had me...as you can see."

he sighed. "please be more careful."

"you're worried huh? that bad?" you grin.

"yes," he paused for a moment, "...i just...we had a bet, that's all. a deal."

you fell silent, but you still had a smile, "...i know. i have the flash drive on me, after all." you said.

now the two of you were quiet, and you were already used to the stinging pain that had kicked you in the ass. eventually, dan heng finished, replacing your bandages with newer ones and tossing the old ones out.

"alright, so... just come back tomorrow and i'll have to do the same thin⸻"

you got up, brushing your lips against dan heng's as you gently pushed him against your desk. he was taken back for a moment, but...he returned the kiss, just a bit. he was a bit inexperienced, after all.

pulling away, you looked at him with a satisfied smile.

"thanks, dan-dan. i'll come back tomorrow, but..." you take a step back. "wish i could stay longer." you look down to your phone, a frustrated look across your features. "i have something to do."

dan heng was quiet, looking at you with a worried expression before nodding. "...just don't get hurt."

he paused.

"...that ointment is expensive."

you grinned, turning your back towards him as you stepped towards the door.

"...i'll be back."

Lesson 35 spoilers with all the pieces (hard lesson and locked lesson) you know how it is...

Okay I didn't forget about the new lesson, but I played it last night so my memory's already fading lol.

There are a couple main things that I remember, though, so here they are.

First, I love Simeon.

Not you, too. First Solomon, then Diavolo, now Simeon is laughing about Lucifer being his usual self. Honestly.

However, I really loved this whole part. Simeon telling you to close your eyes and listen to your inner voice... and giving you advice about Lucifer, a being he's known for years upon years.

What a guy. He's pretty, he's smart, he's sweet, he's emotionally intelligent... what's not to love? I swear this fandom sleeps on this man.

Meanwhile, Lucifer's brothers are busy calling him out.

LOL. I just thought this was so funny.

Okay, let's talk Luci real quick.

He's so annoying to me, I'm really remembering why I went through my hating Lucifer phase. BUT to be clear, I don't hate him, I love him, but he's also annoying.

It's like he's playing a game of chess with MC. He wants to win, but he wants to outmaneuver everybody so that it looks like MC is the one who is winning. I didn't need Simeon to tell me that Lucifer is essentially using our own feelings against us, in an attempt to get what he wants, which is for us to stay with him.

It's like what Belphie did, but instead of trying to lock us up, he's playing mind games. It's because he has way too much pride to straight up say out loud to anyone that he doesn't want us to leave. So he has to go about it in a way that doesn't hurt his pride.

Because in the end, that's what his sin is, isn't it?

I'm not concerned. This is what we just went through with the other six, but Lucifer-flavored this time. And really, there's no way to fully depict the sin of pride without making it all about mind games, being in control, trying to get what you want without seeming like you need or want anyone else. Seems pretty clear to me.

So MC is just gonna set that guy straight and then he'll make a pact with us and then we'll see what happens after that.

HOWEVER I did find this part extremely interesting:

YES. I WANNA BE A PROFESSOR LEMME TEACH ALL THE DEMONS ABOUT THE HUMAN WORLD.

Oh uh sorry for the caps lock lol. But seriously, like I actually want this to happen. I don't care about the salary (like these guys aren't keeping MC in style already), but I think I would lose my mind if I had to be a student again.

I also liked the explanation about Mammon's luck. I love that he isn't lucky at all, but the humans he's in a pact with are. I'm a superstitious motherfucker, so I'm constantly doing things in the name of luck. I just looove the idea that being in a pact with Mams would make me lucky lol.

Poor buddy. Just let me do the things that need luck and then I'll give you the profits. I'd do it just to make him happy lol.

Okay, that's it! The rest of these are just moments that had me cackling.

Foolish and Cellbit's whole conversation in the castle was definitely interesting, and I'm gonna get into that in another post later (maybe), but what I want to talk about right now is the conversation that happened BEFORE that. The one with Foolish and Max.

Now, for context, Max confronted Foolish on whether or not he was working for the Feds. And followed it up with a question that, if given the chance, would Foolish do a task for them again. To which Foolish replied with, 'It depends, there's probably a 70% chance I would, yeah.' Which resulted to Max kicked Foolish out of the Theory Bros.

Then, this conversation happened.

Foolish: Listen, Max. I understood. I understood that the moment I made that arrest that- that maybe things would change. That it would be tough to play, like, you know, all sides all the time. And I understood that going into it. So, if you don't want me to be part of the Theory Bros anymore, I understand.

[...]

Foolish: I think that might be one of my biggest problems- or positives, depending on how you look at it. But I feel like I'm the type of person to say I don't really have any enemies. And that's where maybe people don't see it through my eyes the same way.

Maximus: Okay. Okay. You clearly don't see who the real enemy is. You need to accept the reality, Foolish. We are trapped here. On the Island.

Foolish: Hmm, so while we're trapped here, why not just, you know, let's all have some fun. Play the game. You know?

Maximus: What game? What game, Foolish?

Foolish: Does this whole crazy thing not seem like a game to you?

Now, there's a lot to unpack in this conversation. But there's also a lot of information we already knew.

We knew that Foolish was aware that his actions would have consequences, and he's accepted that. He's ready to face any repercussions that would fall on him because of what he did. We knew that he would do it again if given the chance and for the right prices. He's never failed to be transparent about that. We also knew that he's been playing for all sides since the beginning, that he never really saw anyone as his 'enemy' and that he saw everything in a different lens from everyone else. And finally, we already knew that he saw this whole Island situation as a big twisted game that he has to play.

But we knew these things as the audience. We knew these things because Foolish talks to himself a lot. We knew these things because we SEE what Foolish sees. This conversation was essentially Foolish trying to make Max see it too. But as we can see, it didn't quite work out as he hoped.

Maximus: Foolish, this is not a video game. This is real life. And you are becoming part of the Federation. The Federation wants you happy, you know. Smiling. But when the time comes, Foolish, you're gonna lose everything. Because the Federation takes it all.

Maximus: Foolish, remember. I have your card (the Theory Bros membership card they made up on the spot lol). If you wanna get it, think about everything you do with the Federation.

Foolish: Listen, I'll come back, and I'll take that card from your hand when I know in my heart... that I'm done playing games like I have been.

And that's interesting, isn't it? That after this conversation, Foolish immediately had another conversation with Cellbit. A conversation that danced around the subject and tested the waters instead of straightforward like he did with Max.

Through this conversation with Max, Foolish came to some kind of conclusion. What conclusion, you ask? I don't know. But that conclusion led him to talk to Cellbit. It made him try and understand better. It made him play mind games with Cellbit. It made him SERIOUS. As brief as that seriousness was, it was still RARE. It was almost impossible to see the side that Foolish showed today.

I don't know if I'm making sense right now, but it's the middle of the night and I have Foolish in the head. Today was filled with so much Foolish lore that I can't sleep unless I talk about it kdbdjsh

i think i have before but its spread out across multiple posts so i will just go ahead and put everything into one place lol

trigger warning again for light reference to s/a cause i'm referring to what happened in the odyssey

positive:

i think they have clever word play. i made a post before about how the "i've got you, don't worry, circe's got you now" has the neat dual meaning with "i've got you" in its positive reassuring meaning and "i've got you now" in it's sinister "you're trapped i've got you" meaning. same thing with zeus' "a foe who won't run, unlike anyone you have faced before" sounding like he means some big dangerous enemy when he's actually referring to an infant.

the songs are catchy, i must admit! the musical scores are impressive too. i also like how the use the instruments to tell the story. like how each character has an instrument thats associated with them, and how you can tell the penelope in suffering is not actually penelope because her signature instrument is missing. neat stuff. i also like how eurylochus' instrument is the crew themselves.

negative:

i think some of their creative liberties undermine the point of the story or just do it a disservice, something i've said before in other posts. to be specific, i feel they have made this into a story of a Good character who turns ruthless after everything he's had to endure, and while that is an interesting story to explore, it's not odysseus' story. odysseus is, for lack of a better word, morally gray from the start. i think morally gray is really too simplistic to describe him as he is a rather complex character but what i mean is he is not a Good guy but he's not entirely a Bad guy either, you know? the odyssey is not about a honorable hero who sacrifices his morals by the end, it's a guy who's already kinda questionable who continues to do questionable things at times. for example "lets lead from the heart, see what starts" is just not something he would really say 😭😭 also in monster when he says "what if ive been far too kind to foes" hes not really kind to his foes. yes, he is capable of mercy, but hes not always approaching things with a "lets be kind ❤️" attitude.

having him spare polyphemus out of mercy was stupid to me, personally. in the odyssey he doesn't kill polyphemus because he needs him to move the boulder blocking the cave exit, and also, given his size, odysseus isn't fully certain they can kill him. blinding him instead of killing him was not an act of mercy, it was a strategic choice. and also having them kill his sheep first was senseless to me. the whole thing in the odyssey is polyphemus is in the wrong, and odysseus is in the right. they don't kill his sheep immediately, and polyphemus violates xenia, because polyphemus doesn't care about xenia. this why odysseus feels comfortable to reveal his name at the end, because he knows he's in the right, and he assumes he has delivered a punishment in accordance with the gods for the violation polyphemus has committed. it's still unwise of him to do so, but at least you can see where he's coming from. in epic it kind of makes no sense because they came into his house, killed his sheep, and then he reveals his name and home address after that?!:?:?:? and then athena fucking off forever like okay?:$:?:?: what was that about.

circe saga really irked me, aside from the compliments i've already given. they removed the aspect of him having to sleep with circe by just having him say no. the situation is not this simple. he literally could not say no. one, because hermes already warned him on the way there not to say no to anything she asks of him and two because shes literally a goddess. like yes the moly protects him from her spells but she could still very much kill him if she wanted. and there's also the factor of her having his men captive as swine. in the odyssey this shows you how powerless he is before the gods, which, is a pretty important aspect of the odyssey! also it's just simply unlike circe, as a character, to be like "ah i'm so moved by your faithfulness and acts of kindness i think i will just let your men go and aid your journey for absolutely nothing in return ❤️" whole saga just came off very sanitized. curious as to how they intend to approach calypso.

underworld saga like i said before its the sudden switch of him being about "leading from the heart" and "kindess" to "then i'll become the monster" like woah... just felt like abrupt 180 to me. and again it just annoys me in general cause this character arc is simply not accurate for him 😭 i've also said this before somewhere but sometimes i feel like the odysseus in epic is more like an oc than an adaptation of homer's odysseus. hence why i see him as a completely separate character (and get annoyed when people conflate them as one)

thunder saga i had more minor gripes with like the fact that odysseus also had the beeswax in his ears unlike in the odyssey where he doesn't and has his men tie him to the mast while he listens. this is just simply because i thought a song from odysseus' perspective while he's deluded by the siren song and begging to be untied would have been really interesting. but oh well ☹️ i actually will admit i didn't complete hate the change with his mens death for the cattle. obviously, in the odyssey, he's not given a choice by zeus—they kill the cattle, they leave eventually, zeus strikes the ship and odysseus is the sole survivor. however i do think this is interesting to explore. odysseus obviously cares very deeply for his men, and would do near anything to bring them home. he's not the type to just sacrifice them willy nilly like they don't matter. (the bit in the circe saga where eurylochus wants to leave them behind and odysseus says no we need to at least try is biblically accurate, that does happen in the odyssey) but at the end of the day... getting back to penelope trumps all else. so would he, do you think? if he had been given the choice, would he let them all die to see her again? i think he would have. especially by that point. so that's one change i'm like, okay, that's kind of interesting. i don't hate this.

so overall, theres multiple things i do like about it! and i do appreciate the creativity and effort that's gone into the project and it always makes me happy to see people passionate about greek mythology. i just think they've lost the plot a little. i feel like it's become a story about a Good man who continuously gets punished for being good until he caves to ruthlessness which like i said, is an interesting concept, but just not the story of the odyssey.

Ace Light is so important to me. Like it's not just a headcanon but something more. Here are some instances of ace!Light imo:

When Sayu finds Light with a dirty magazine & he explains that 'no i was just looking at articles of Kira & L' and that makes Sayu go 'oh yeah! you're gonna be a detective in future so being the nerdy brother of mine that you are you're studying for that, too. wow.' LIKE SHE DOESN'T EVEN QUESTION IT FOR A SECOND. She just knows that Light's statement is true at its face value & since she knows him well: therefore I raise you ACE Light.

Then this exchange between Ryuk & Light:

Ryuk makes a reference to finger-banging and Light's response? 'Looks are all that count!' Light is so ace it's cute haha.

Instance #3:

Light looks at p0rno mags and Soichiro is SHOCKED. Now of course it's because he thinks that Light was too upstanding/well-behaved for this sorta thing but I cannot help but wonder... if Light being interested at looking at girls that way, might've seemed a lil too far-fetched to Soichiro. And just how is Light looking at the scantily-clad women? Take a look:

Of course, Light's goal is to pretend that this is why he was checking if anyone entered his room and yet he cannot look more disinterested. It's not convincing that he'd go all through the trouble of ensuring nobody entered his room and look like -_- towards the p0rno mags he had tried so hard to hide. He's in the privacy of his room (yes there are hidden cameras & no Light isn't meant to know about them) and the least he can do in what I remind you that it's a Shonen manga which means that it's targeted towards young male teens so they couldn't show him jerking off or anything is to look like he's interested/attracted to these women but nope.

Light with all his acting skills cannot manage to look interested (let alone sexually interested) in women shown in these mags. So Light is not straight confirmed. Ace Light strikes AGAIN.

Canon also hasn't hinted at Light preferring to date men (no offense to those who headcanon Light as gay as I'm one of those people (i hc him as homoromantic asexual)). So it's logical to assume that Light is ace. Yeah yeah I know you don't really need canon basis for your headcanons but as I said before Ace Light is more than just a headcanon to me :D

Hello~! I'm very happy to be the first to welcome you to Yellow Rat hell <3 He's such a fascinating, tragic, horrid gremlin of a man, and he definitely deserves more fans aha. As someone who reads comics, I can confirm it's not you, they can be very confusing and all over the place xD

And no, that's not a stupid question, not at all! He is shown not to always be around to bother Barry for months at a time, so it's entirely reasonable to wonder where he goes a lot of the time~ Some ideas of what he could be possibly doing are but not limited to:

Tending to his beloved museum. Aside from Barry, this is one of the very few things he treasures deeply. It's his pride and joy as well as his home. We all know he's established to be the curator of the museum and has provided tours to the public, but it's very unclear if he continued with that after becoming Reverse Flash. While he might've, I feel like there's too many reasons why he wouldn't. One being that the Renegades know his secret identity and I'm pretty sure that would ruin a lot of business for him lol. Plus with Eobard's mentality, I think he would be just too distracted, too frantic with his need to focus on Barry to do his day job

Now this is more of a fun headcanon my friend, Ftl were talking about that I since adopted where Eobard likes to pop back into the past, right before a major event or disaster, whether just as a bystander or a instigator. And of course, he always manages to run into Vandal Savage, so much to the point now that Vandal now associates him as a omen for things to come

He is canonically shown to go and bother/mess with Thomas Wayne a handful of times. This is significant as normally he really doesn't go out of his way for anyone that's not Barry/Flashfam member more than he absolutely has to. He doesn't even go after Hal. The only people he seems to be genuinely interested in and fixated on are those who have (willingly) killed him. Thomas may not rank as high as a priority as Barry, naturally, but he definitely counts as a hobby at least

There was also that time in Flash Age, where Eobard got to play the role of savior of Central City in his own era. He genuinely seemed to enjoy being the hero but, well, if you read to the end, you'll see why that most likely won't be happening again heh

Now this one is a lot more jokey, but in a DC Holiday Special, there's one panel in the last story that shows Eobard enjoying a game of poker with the Anti Monitor along with some other characters, so take from that what you will~

Now, as for your question about him still being a Professor, that's also really not explained in depth. They never really cement exactly what he's a Professor of, but considering him, it's most likely history and/or the Speed Force. In some comics he does have students, in others it works mostly as just a title and then sometimes it's not referenced at all, but it's safe to assume he still is one aha

I also don't really see him having a daily routine. The way I see it, Eobard is so far removed from being human, he doesn't really need to eat, sleep, or do personal hygiene lol But I really love your calendar idea! It would definitely look something like: "Fuck with Barry" "Fuck with Barry" "Fuck with Barry" "Fuck with Barry/Visit Daddy Bat" "Fuck with Barry/Die" "Askdhsgkdbjk" "Poker night" 😂

Also, I know it's not really canon but I really enjoy the idea of him painting. Eobard is a gifted child and a genius, he can master practically anything he sets his mind to. IDK why painting of all things, but it just kinda seems right. Bonus points if he uses it to replace original paintings in the past with his LOL

Overall, sadly, we don't get to see all the mischief he gets up to when not tormenting Barry, only tidbits. But hey, that just gives us some creative freedom to come up with fun ideas ourselves~

I am Johnny Cade, a 16 year old greaser. I live in Tulsa Oklahoma, and I have my entire life, I have 2 parents, a mom and a dad. Sometimes I wish I didn't have either and then maybe I could be at peace, I could probably live with my pals, too. Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry would probably take me in, or Two-Bit if they could. My friends understand the situation at my house, they've saved me from my folks a handful of times. Two-Bit especially, sometimes I feel like I’d be better off dead, my parents sure would like that.. They probably wouldn’t notice for a while anyway since I haven't been going home as often anymore, and when I do.. They either ignore me or beat on me. I usually sleep at the Curtis house, or I stay with Two-Bit from time to time, when I can’t stay with Two or Pony, I sleep in the lot. I’m sure I would have a place with Dally if he didn’t stay at Bucks all the time. He doesn't have the best relationship with his parents either. His dad couldn’t care less about his whereabouts, and state. And we never hear about his mother, or any relatives that he may be able to stay with. He digs okay, so does the rest of my gang. They’re the closest relationships I’ve had to family. I'm smaller, and younger compared to all of them, well.. Except for ponyboy, at least for the age part. Ponyboy is 14 and he has already lost both of his parents in a car accident. I feel absolutely terrible for their entire family, especially Darry.. He’s only 20 and he has to continue raising his 2 kid brothers, he doesn’t usually have issues with Sodapop, but him and Ponyboy have never really gotten along, which got worse after their parents died. It was rough on the rest of the gang too. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis were great people, and they took care of those who didn't have great relationships with their parents.. Me and Dally especially- Dally and Mrs. Curtis were real close, I’m sure their passing was also very hard on him.. Of course, he would NEVER let anyone know that, especially anyone in the gang. He thinks emotions and stuff like that are wastes of time, and he had never done so much as cry in front of any of us. Of course we had seen him angry, he hates the world and almost everything in it. He doesn't seem to hate me though, I’ve never been to sure as to why.. But I love Dally a lot, I love the entire gang a lot. They’re all I’ve got in life, without the gang I have nothing, I AM nothing. I would probably be dead and gone if it weren't for them. Or I’d be in a different state, trying to start a new life, without my parents being there to bug me and hurt me. Maybe there wouldn’t be any “Greasers” or “Socs” there too.. Just people. Normal, plain old people.. Maybe I’d be able to go to church there too.. Me and Ponyboy used to go all the time, we invited Two-Bit, and the rest of the gang once, they caused a pretty dramatic scene.. So we never went again. Ponyboy always talks about living in the country, pretty far 'away from the city.. I don’t think I’d mind the “country life” too much, I’d just need to get used to it for a bit, especially since I’ve never been outside of our neighborhood. Maybe there I’d be considered less stupid. That’s all I’ve ever been called by teachers and my parents. I dunno, maybe I am stupid.. I can really get excited about learning if it’s something I find interesting. "I got you a book."

George looks up from his notebook, splayed out on the kitchen table curiously. "You did?"

You nod, placing the thick hardback down on the thinking cloth. "I was out and popped into a bookshop. I know you've been wanting this one for a little while."

His eyes carefully scan the book, and he takes it in his hands, flipping it over and reading the covers. For a minute, you think he's disappointed. Maybe he already bought it, or maybe you misheard him and got the wrong one...

Then, a smile appears, his eyes sparkling as he looks back at you. "Thank you. You didn't have to get me it."

"I wanted to," you say with a shrug. "You mentioned it a few days ago, and I just wanted to do a nice thing."

Also, I've hidden little notes in it, you think, but you don't say it out loud. That's part of the surprise.

"What are you doing just now?" you ask, moving to make yourself a brew. "Looks... confusing."

"Research for that new case we've got booked," he says, turning back to his notes. "You know, the old lady from the other day who said her grandkid heard voices in the attic?"

"Oh!" You take a bite out of a biscuit you just plucked off the plate. "Mrs Thurmon, right? I'm still convinced it's some birds stuck inside, but could well be a ghost. Lockwood thinks it's a Type One."

George shakes his head. "I think it's more than that. Maybe..."

He looks back at his notes, and he doesn't speak again. If anyone else did the same, you'd consider it rude, but George gets like this sometimes. In his mind, he probably thinks that he's still speaking to you when in reality he's gone quiet. It makes you smile, and you can't help but watch the way his eyebrows crease in concentration and he silently mouths the words he's written haphazardly.

You feel content just looking at him, as strange as it sounds. The way his dark hair falls over his face, or the way his fingers run underneath the words he's paying particular attention to. Sometimes when he's writing things in his notebook, he won't realise he's reached the edge of the page and will continue onto the thinking cloth, leading to some very obscure phrases seen at midnight after a case.

"So, you see, I don't think it's just a Type One. There's something -" He looks up and sees the smile you're trying to suppress. "I wasn't talking, was I?"

Laughing, you shake your head. "No, you weren't."

He looks down, flushing red slightly.

"I'm going to head down to the basement," you say, lifting your mug of tea from the counter. "I'll get the chains oiled and prepare our bags for tonight. Give me a shout if you need anything, yeah?"

Over the next few days, George begins a daily routine of spouting out random facts at the kitchen table over breakfast. Some are relatively normal, like the fact that crocodiles can't stick their tongue out, but they become stranger and stranger as the days pass. Each time, he reads them off a little ripped piece of paper, each in your handwriting.

Lockwood and Lucy seem thoroughly amused, but you only grow more and more apprehensive. As the little facts come to their end, your heart begins to race in anticipation.

You don't regret giving George the book. You do, however, regret leaving a note expressing your feelings for George at the end a little bit.

It's hell waiting for him to get to it. It gives you too much time to worry. Will he reject you? Will he admit he feels the same? George has never been very openly expressive about his feelings outwith his interests, hence why you've admitted the fact that you're, oh, well, in love with him in a note rather than to his face.

But, then, finally, the reply comes in the form of an envelope slipped under your door while you're sleeping. You awake to find it the next morning, the brown envelope trembling in your hands.

It's stupid, honestly, getting so nervous over a guy. A year ago, you would never have believed that you'd be here, sweating profusely as you sit on your bed, trying to muster up the confidence to open the envelope.

Finally, you do.

Thank you for the book. I didn't know that you had heard it was one I wanted, but I appreciate you getting it for me. You didn't need to, but it means a lot. It was quite good, actually. Possibly one of my favourites.

As for the little notes - funny! I didn't know chef's hats had 100 pleats, but I'll be sure to stash the fact for future reference. Maybe I'll confuse Kipps with it one day, just to throw him off.

The grin that splits your face is the biggest it's ever been. You're most definitely blushing, and, if Lucy wasn't sleeping on the other side of the room, you'd be jumping around, squealing like a madman with excitement.

You place the letter under your pillow, fighting to soften your smile, as you hurry down the stairs to the attic door to put some tea on.

Upon opening the door, you're met with a face that's all too familiar. Hair curling softly and glasses perched on his nose, George stands in the doorway, fist raised as if he were about to knock.

"George!" you say before remembering that Lucy is sleeping. You hush your tone a little. "Hey, how are you? Sleep well?"

A small smile plays on his lips, a little awkward but it still makes your heart soar. "I, uh, I slept fine. I'm good. I was just coming to ask if you wanted breakfast."

"I was actually about to come down and put some tea on."

"Oh, good." He takes his glasses off, rubbing the lenses on his jumper. "Shall we -?"

"Yes! Um, yeah."

You pass him, closing the door softly, and you break out into a grin again. He feels the same. He feels the same!

"I was going to go to the bookshop today," he says. "Maybe you'd like to come with...?"

It's hard to contain your excitement, but you nod, glancing back at him. "I'd like that."

Some thoughts on some of the newest CDS chapters below the read more tag for spoiler's sake, since I have read the newest one and have some thoughts

As flawed as Cheating Detective Satori is, one thing I will give it is how it shows the reactions of the spirits and Youkai living in Former Hell to the whole "sealing it up" thing. While I was initially annoyed about the whole "sealing former Hell" thing, I feel like the newer chapters have kinda made the whole thing make more sense, especially in the newest one where Parsee mentions how in the case of a vengeful spirit making too much trouble, Former Hell is just gonna seal right back up and become Hell again, which is a system that has been around since Former Hell was established. I think what this little addition does well is that in retrospect it makes the whole decision of sealing up Former Hell make a bit more sense. Also, the mystery that the latest chapter left off with (Parsee's realization that Former Hell must have been sealed from the outside) is really interesting, and had that bit of realization not been included by Parsee, it probably would've been a major plot hole that Parsee's tunnel also got plugged up when the whole system was made years ago when Former Hell was first established. Also, would Parsee know who Mizuchi is? Or have at least heard of her? Or is Mizuchi kind of treated like an SCP in Former Hell and is kept a secret from everyone else, even though in the earliest chapters of CDS, Satori mentions that Mizuchi has been a bit of a problem before, and Yuugi also knows her sooooo is this a writing mistake or intentional? Although there are a lot of vengeful spirits in Former Hell so knowing who each and every single one is is probably giving the denizens of Former Hell a bit too much credit lol. But still, Mizuchi seems to maybe be a more well known vengeful spirit so I'm still a bit confused on that, or maybe it could just be as simple as Parsee having never met Mizuchi when counseling vengeful spirits.

Maybe certain people aren't allowed to even see Mizuchi since they could be prime targets for her to possess people and escape. Which could also be related to the reason why she escaped in the first place, maybe she possessed someone with a grudge against Reimu or anyone in the Hakurei bloodline and used them to get out of Former Hell?

Also, when you think about that and the fact that Zanmu is the one who proposed the move, it gave me the headcanon that Zanmu also put that system in place since she wouldn't just leave it carelessly unattended. Since it's in her character to think ahead and meticulously plan things, why wouldn't she put this safety measure in place?

Utsuho and Koishi were also really good in this chapter, and Utsuho's title is so fucking good, I love it. Koishi also trying to get the other vengeful spirits to chill out is also a fun detail. Her point about the vengeful spirits not even being allowed to leave regardless is also something interesting to think about. Though it is explained in the manga that the vengeful spirits just needed a reason to attack, the idea of someone getting mad about the loss of a freedom that they would normally never use is very interesting to me.

When the manga is finished I'm most likely gonna do a full review on it, since my last one had way too much swearing and I was also really tired and wanted to sleep and I am just overall not happy with it. Plus, the manga seems like it's starting to get better, and with ZUN himself saying that he's aware of the criticism towards CDS, I'm gonna stay optimistic with this manga. Also, it would be really interesting to see how the people in New Hell react to the restoration of Former Hell, especially Zanmu due to how important she is in the actual creation of Former Hell, although a small part of me thinks that she would just go, "not my Hell, not my problem" and leave it at that, the other part of me thinks that would maybe be a little out of character for her. Like, I don't think she'd be panicking, but at the same time she's not gonna treat it like a non-issue. Though that could just be me since I like Zanmu a lot lol.

All in all, just a lot to think about with this new chapter.
