You’re wringing your hands to all hell as the movie plays on the tv screen. Your boyfriends had wanted to watch an action horror and while you weren’t opposed to horror, this one had your heart racing.

Remus is in the kitchen getting you more kettle corn, James is laying on the loveseat waiting for his return and Sirius’ head is in your lap.

You’re all a picture of cosiness, the rain outside beating down on the roof while you’ve all opted for long sleeved sweaters and fluffy blankets across your laps. Still, the comfort of both the weight of Sirius, James near you and your blankets isn’t enough to help you not twist and pull at your fingers.

“Doing alright, doll?” Sirius asks, turning in your lap so he can look at you. His question isn’t loud enough to pull James from the macabre scenes on the tv; at least not yet.

“Mhm,” Sirius’ eyes narrow as you push the joint of your thumb.

“Need me to find something else for us to watch?” That would honestly be ideal, but you’ve all been wanting to watch this for weeks.

“No, I think it just needs to get past this part and I’ll be okay.”

Remus comes back just as Sirius sits up, changing his position so you’re laying in his lap instead.

“Everything okay?” James asks as Remus keeps hold of the popcorn bowl.

“Fine, think she’s just overstimulated with the scenes right now.” Sirius says softly, not wanting you to feel bad but also not wanting to hide anything from your boyfriends.

You’re not upset by it; though you do wish James wouldn’t look at you in as much horror as he is now.

James is ready to flick off the tv and find something else for you to look at when you shake your head.

“S’okay Jamie, I’ll be better once this is over.” You sound less sure than you’d like to. James pauses the movie anyhow.

Remus sets the kettle corn down and kneels in front of you, holding onto your ankle.

“Dovey,” his voice quiet but not one you can lie to. It’s hard to lie to any of them, but Remus is even harder to lie to. “If you need us to change the movie it’s no biggie. We can watch it another day.”

You’re thankful Remus doesn’t say ‘on a better day,’ today hasn’t been bad, this was just a sudden shift.

You hold his eyes, Sirius stroking your cheek as James stands, not able to bear the fact that he’s the only one with his hands off you.

“Can we look at something else?” James breathes a relieved sigh, looking through your favourite set of movies.

“Thank you,” you say quietly, not wanting to look at any of them in their eyes. There’s a little bubble of shame, that you can’t sit still for a two hour movie because your mind is whirring and overstimulated.

“Stop it, baby.” James says, opening his arms to you and you rush over. James lets you tuck your head under his chin, his big arms holding you close to him as you relax. Sirius and Remus cuddle up next to the two of you, not even minding that you all hardly fit on the loveseat.

“Legally Blonde okay, poppet?” you nod, stretching to kiss all your boyfriends on their head, cuddling right up between them as Elle Woods braves your screen.

Bimbo Types, or Neapolitan Bimbo

(This is something I've previously gone over in my My Little Pony post but wanted to reiterate here.)

Bimbo can most easily be divided into three distinct archetypes. The Clown, The Innocent, and The Debutante. These archetypes are not absolute, they come in many variations and their traits can and will overlap.

The Clown, also known as The Free Spirit or The Wildcard, usually shows up as the comedic relief. They can be loud, showy, excessive, and obnoxious. Their sexuality is very self-assured, self-aware, and playful. The Clown's main concern (if any) is having or spreading fun, "fun" in this context being completely up to their individual style and personality. To give a very stereotypical example, a goth clown may have the most fun watching very violent horror movies or playing with spiders. Another clown could have the most fun (Incidentally) causing a ruckus or being mischievous, it's all about perspective, the possibilities are pretty much endless.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Jeannie (IDOJ), Pinkie Pie (MLP:FIM), Harley Quinn (BTAS), Synclaire James (Living Single), Jayne Mansfield (films and public persona), Elvira, Mistress of the Dark

The Innocent, also known as The Ingenue, is just as the name suggests. Not only helpless but often unaware and wholly out of her depth. Her inexperience and or meekness makes her prone to being taken advantage of. Despite this, she (usually) remains positive, kind, and happy to help. Unlike The Clown, The Innocent's sexuality is typically portrayed as natural, uncomplicated, and unintended.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Marilyn Monroe (films and public persona), Weena (The Time Machine), Lorelei Lee (in the novel), Elissa Megan Powers (Empowered)

The Debutante, who could also be called The Alpha Bitch, is probably the most popular in the modern era and who you're most likely to come across in real life or on social media. Her sexuality is mainly a means of control. She puts a lot of time, work, and effort into her appearance because beauty is both her business and capital. While she may, at times, enjoy and indulge in carnal pleasure it's far from her main concern. Being the most or unattainably desirable is how she knows she's better than others, how she's able to acquire and maintain control. The Debutante values social standing above all else, to her it's a matter of life or death, she would die without overwhelmingly positive attention.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Regina George (Mean Girls), Heather Chandler (Heathers), Courtney Shayne (Jawbreaker), Heather (Total Drama Island), Cleopatra Smith (Clone High), Jeannie II (IDOJ), Emma Frost (X-Men), Panty Anarchy (PSG), Ginger (Gilligan's Island), Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffany's), Kim Kardashian, Rarity (MLP:FIM)

These archetypes are combined, remixed, and subverted so often it's hard to find pure examples (I tried my best, and even then this is just reducing them to their base archetypes and do not accurately describe every single one of these characters), but this is a good thing. It leads to nuance and diversity, and many of the most popular bimbo characters are mixed or subversions. Chrissy Snow (Three's Company) is a Clown and an Innocent. Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) arguably includes elements of all three. Romy and Michele's High School Reunion follows two clownish Innocents who realize they were bullied by debutantes. As far as I know, all bimbos exist somewhere along these lines (or perhaps on an axis) but we shouldn't view this as limiting, when you think about it the combinations are really seemingly endless, and I didn't even cover sub-archetypes! Many Debutantes are mean but they don't have to be. Innocents don't have to be completely pliable, you can do (or be) whatever you like, even moving from one archetype to another.

Ooh okay so

they're always bringing you stuff to the library where you study, a coffee, a sweet, even just coming by to give you a kiss

that said, if sirius or james come by, sometimes you have to kick them out so you can get back to work

sirius is a menace (who's surprised). even after all this time with remus, he still doesn't really get studying and tries relentlessly to get you to just come home

remus, however, is your rock. he totally sympathizes, and while he won't let you work yourself to the bone he will help you study and run interference between you and the other two boys

you know better than to complain about tyrant professors after what sirius and james did to that one your first year. never again.

james is always making sure you have all the supplies you need. you've got an excess of highlighters because he keeps seeing ones in cute colors and getting them for you

they will occaisionally bar you from participating in an argument because you're too good

remus also sees right through your bullshit when you're trying to talk your way out of something, but james is in awe of you ("whatever you say, beautiful brainiac") and sirius thinks he's impervious but really if you just bat your eyelashes at him the right way he's like putty in your hands

sirius is also absolutely ecstatic about picking your courtroom outfits. sometimes you have to remind him that you really need to be taken seriously because he's trying to turn you into elle woods, and in turn he creates the most over-the-top corporate badass outfit you've ever seen

„I’m going to fucking LOSE IT!” James heard as he entered the flat. There was some more cursing, giggles here and there and then a loud thud of something hitting the wall.

Panicked and a little confused, James didn’t even bother to take off his shoes or jacket as he rushed to the living room. He was far more confused at what he saw there: Barty and Evan were rolling on the carpet with breathless laughter, while Regulus threw another water bottle in their direction. And it wasn’t even the confusing part - that he was familiar with. What got him shocked was Regulus’ hair color – instead of his normal jet black waves, sitting on his head was something like malachite afro.

“Crouch you’re dead! I swear, I’m going to murder you! How could you do that to me?!” Regulus shouted like a madman, and to be perfectly honest with you, he had every right to act that way. Anyone who knew Reg, knew his hair were untouchable for the whole humankind, with a few exceptions. James had a feeling the list of exceptions was changed while he was at Sirius’.

Barty and Evan didn’t stop laughing when Reg took a mug from the nearby table and started aiming at them. That was James’ call to move from his safe space at the living room’s entry and catch his boyfriend’s hand before anyone got hurt any more.

The moment James touched Regulus, the shorter man whipped his head at the lightspeed towards him. His eyes were shooting daggers at first, but as soon as he realized who he is looking at, the storms in those gray eyes turned softer, then horrified and finally sad. Tears gathered in them, his Adam’s apple bobbing with a thick swallow.

“James…” Regulus choked out like he actually was about to lose it.

James just smiled at him sweetly, putting down the still held mug. He took Reg’s face into his hands, wiping away the lonely tear that got out of its prison in black-haired green-haired man’s eye.

“I really like that color” James said quietly before kissing his boyfriend’s nose. Regulus just smiled wobbly at him. The sweet moment didn’t last long, though.

“You two – get out of my flat before I kill you” Regulus said coldly to his friends, who by the way, still laid on the floor. Barty snickered at him and Evan just smiled, a little apologetic, before they gathered themselves and went to the door. “Don’t bother coming anytime soon!”

“Love you too, Reggie!” was heard before the doors closed.

“So…” James started slowly, still holding his boyfriend close. “How exactly did that happen?”

“The green” Regulus started “because I’ve lost a bet. The perm” his face twisted “because they’re mean.”

James just laughed a little at that. “Thank god for Elle Woods, than” he said, walking Reg straight to the bathroom.
