Dc x dp idea: take one of those ‘Danny is Damian’ AUs, take a ‘Danny is Persephone’ AU, AND MASH THAT SHIT UP.
right so start off with the usual: Damian runs away and takes the name Danny, gets adopted by the Fentons etc. right?
When the bats find Damian they don’t find him in Amity no no no they find him in the ghost zone, site John Constantine bs or smth. And naturally this is a ghost king Danny AU so his ass is in full regalia and when asked he avoids the question, because how do you explain to the family you haven’t seen in years that you’re now the queen of the afterlife because you beat the fuck out of a god after you ran away and FUCKING DIED?!
But the bats and they won’t leave shit alone so they dig and shit and find out WHOOPDE FUCKING DOO HES MARRIED. Now make this who you want, I’m going everlasting trio because why the fuck not. TWO OF EM.
So Danny gets hoes and they believe that he got Persephoned or some shit, because not their precious little spawn of Satan, Nuh uh. He’s not dead, YOURE IN DENIAL. They meet the trio through unfortunate events and that solidifies it more that he got Persephoned as in their mind it cruel plant goddess and tech geek pharaoh, who frankly has no thoughts.
Add some flavour and have Sam be called king or something. Because I like to think that the infinite realms base their titles off your perception. Sam is mean and scary and thus king where as Danny is relatively sweet and generally popular among the residents of the infinite realms so he is their queen. And tucker is pharaoh. Duh.

YES. BODYGUARD JASON TODD.
He's used to being looked over, just seen as meat & muscle (he doesn't mind, it's part of the job) but you're the first "job" who actually sees him, talks to him, makes him laugh 🫠 he doesn't know what he'll do if someone actually tries to put their hands on you 🙂
hiiii aud thank you for the scrumptious jaybird thoughts <3 so begins my bodyguard!Jason agenda!
bodyguard!jason todd x gn!reader. fluff, pining, and tension so thick you could cut it with a batarang.
All fics are reblogged to @sanguinelibrary
****
"Y'know, I think you just keep me around to carry your bags."
You grin over your shoulder where the Red Hood trails behind you, always five paces behind. Your takeout bag is in one hand, your new shirts in another. He wears a red mask over the lower half of his face, like always. Only seeing his eyes used to unnerve you, but now it's a comfort, finding his gaze in a crowd.
"That's not true. I also keep you around for something nice to look at," you say.
He tilts his head. Your belly flutters. "Flattery will get you nowhere, trouble."
"Flattery got me outside of my hotel, Red."
He sighs. "Tricking the hotel concierge doesn't count."
You laugh. "Sure it does. I think it does." You stick your arm out. "Will you walk next to me?"
"You know my rule."
"But you can easily cover me if you're next to me! And I'm so good at ducking. See?"
You duck and straighten a few times in a row to demonstrate. A few people stare. You ignore them. Hood's eyes crinkle in a way that tells you he's smiling.
"Mm, incredible technique. Wonder who taught you that. A ruggedly handsome bodyguard, perhaps?"
"Always hungry for the credit," you say. "Despicable."
"Ain't I?"
You turn around and stop. He stops five paces behind. You take a step forward. He takes a step back.
"I wanna see your face when we talk," you say, face pinched.
"Not in public, trouble. It's for your safety. You know that."
"Can't you come a little closer?"
None of your friends are like this with their personal guards. A moment from a friend's birthday party resurfaces.
It's almost like you'd rather be with him than us. You know he's just doing his job, right?
Hood stays exactly where he is. "This is the ideal spot for covering you. Now, c'mon. Thought you wanted to shop."
You sigh and let your arms flop to your sides. He must be nervous today. You can't imagine why.
"Fine. Be that way."
You hurry ahead. Hood doesn't lag behind. Stupid long-legged bodyguard.
"You can be mad at me as long as you stay safe," he says.
You turn again, about to really bitch about how strict he's being. But his proximity stops you short. He's inched closer, so close that you can properly see his eyes.
"This close enough for you?" he asks.
Hood's eyes are warm in the light, mossy and rich. His lashes and brows are dark and thick. Once or twice, you've seen a splash of freckles across his nose. The bridge of his nose is crooked like it's been broken one too many times.
Dear God, you yearn to know him.
Your stomach does more flips. Hood watches you, half-lidded.
"What're y'doing, trouble?"
His voice is soft, the way it gets when he's trying to smooth over a tiff between you. You can't figure out why he does that. You always get over it. And so does he. He has no choice.
"I'm looking at you, Red," you say.
"Yeah? What're y'lookin' at me for?"
"'Cause I want to."
He blinks. "Me? Not much to look at."
You look at each other for another minute. The want bubbles up again, spills out of your mouth before you can stop it.
"Please walk next to me," you say. "I need to know you're there."
He leans in to speak, black curl tumbling over his forehead. He smells sweet, like apples and spice. You almost appreciate the danger in your life because it keeps you in the Red Hood's line of sight.
"Wha's the matter? Y'nervous? I'm right here."
Oh, you're nervous, alright. Just not in the way he thinks. The way you ought to be.
You turn around. For your sake and his.
"Not nervous. Just... just... never mind. You pick where we go next, Red."
"It's your day. 'M just the driver," he says.
"If you won't walk next to me, the least you can do is pick where we go."
"The least I can do, huh?"
It's clear he isn't going to choose. So you watch him instead. You turn the corner and sneak glances over your shoulder. You don't care much about shopping anymore anyway. It's only an excuse to go out. To be alone with him.
Your answer comes. It's only for a split second, but you catch it anyway. He taught you to notice things after all. Says it could be the difference between living and dying.
You immediately change course. Hood follows you easily, and you breeze through the bookstore's entrance. You sneak a look to gauge his reaction. He's looking around, but that could just be him clocking the exits and obstacles. You grab his hand. He looks at your joined hands, then at you.
"Feeling lost?" he asks.
"No. Just trying to keep you present. Nothing’s gonna happen in a bookshop, Red."
That crease in the middle of his forehead returns. "'S my job to plan for the worst. Keeping you safe is the only thing that matters."
"Not the only thing."
His eyebrows rise. "Whaddya talking about? 'Course it is."
You look at your joined hands. This is bad. This is really, really bad. You'd might as well pull your heart out of your chest and let Hood carry that too.
You start to walk, fingers slipping out of his. Hood doesn't try to rejoin them.
He stays closer in here, close enough that you can talk quietly and smell his apple pie scent.
"What do you like to read?" you ask.
Hood glances at you. "Clocked that about me, did you?"
"I was taught by the best," you say sweetly.
He hums. Doesn't joke or laugh. Just makes a soft sound. It's not often you render him speechless.
"I loved Frankenstein as a kid. I always hoped he'd love his monster, but..."
Hood disappears for a moment, lost in his head. You take his hand, heart be damned.
"Red?"
He looks at you again. His eyes are wild. Sometimes, it seems like they glow.
"My... my dad used to read it to me," he says. "One time I asked if he'd love the monster anyway. He promised he would."
You rub his knuckles. He flinches, like he's forgotten where he is.
"Someone's devotion to our monstrous parts is something we all want," you say.
You spend more time in the bookstore. Hood attracts a few stares, like always, but you're left alone. He carries your shopping without complaint, without strain, and you wonder if your friend was right, if this is just a job.
You buy a special edition of Frankenstein under his attention. Then you turn around and hand him the book. He keeps it under his arm.
"Ready to head back? Y'hungry?"
"That's for you," you say.
"Hm? What is?"
"The book. It's for you, Red."
Silence. The second time that you've stunned the words out of him. You're on a roll.
"Y'don't have to do that," he says, gentle as can be.
"It's a present for you. A thank you."
Hood shakes his head. "You don't need to thank me for protecting you. Just doing my job."
"I'm thanking you for being my friend. Because... you are, right? My friend?"
This time, Hood's eyes on you are heavy. You wonder if he can see your heart beating, see your belly fluttering, see the real reason why you get nervous around him.
"Yeah, trouble," he says, book cradled to his chest like it's precious cargo. "I'm yours."

house of war
This gets Perun and Arawn are laughing as Mars was cleaning up the kitchen and he spoke “yeah and also I would punch the bitch first.”
Then Perun states “burn bitcher burn!” this makes Jerkier tear up and he spoke “the original title is burn bitch burn because he was such a bitch to me and then I changed it to burn Witcher burn.” Mars looks at him “it is okay to be mad at him and it is your choice to forgive but not to forget for that will do more pain.”
Jaskier nods and he was wiping away tears he leaned into Aphrodite. She was wearing a dress which was a form fitting and it was big and puffy sleeves and the skirt was layered and the necklace was just hitting the collar bones. Jaskier’s mom had tan skin and pink hair which was in a bun and some of her hair was framing her face.
She was tall but lean yet she had muscles. She was looking at him with warm amber eyes which were comforting. her socks were black and fishnets. He leaned into her arms, she holds him tighter “I missed you mom.”
“I did too.” She turned to Jason and sighed “I am sorry about Juno and Hera when Gaea was being rude.”
“none taken thanks for caring for my friend when I was gone.” She smiles and he returns the smile. “now son what is your choice?” they waited for him to speak Guan Yu was so focused on the puzzle that he had spaced out the other conversations.
until he looked back up from his 5000-piece puzzle and asked "why," he looked up “why is Jerkier crying? do I need to go kill someone?”
mars looked at him “don’t worry but Geralt is probably gonna get smacked or punched.” Guan Yu went back to his puzzle after smirking and commented “okay if he is going to slapped I want 30 crowns and 13 Drachmas.”
Jaskier smiles again as he turns but still holding on to his mom like a young kid “thanks but wait I was about to do that when Geralt showed his guilty ass to save me he didn’t even apologize and he asked for my assistance I just did it to save Ciri and also the observed not okay I hate them.”
This gets Guan Yu to nod and then Mars walks over to hand him food which he gladly takes and signs thank in CSL.
Mars signs in ISL a you’re welcome. Jason then stands and said “well I am going to see my grave in Camp Jupiter. See you later Jaskeir.” He waves as he shifted to his wolf form and Jaskier smiles and spoke “πες γεια στο σπουργίτι για μένα.”
Jason nods then leaves after Arawn gives him a piece of pig on his way out. Venus was tanner than his mom and her hair was red and her eyes gleam brown. She was wearing a baggy shirt which had a belt made of leather from a dragon and the buckle was silver.
She was wearing a pair of trousers that ended roughly around her knees she had boots that went all the way up to our knees and on her belt she had straps and clasps also a few bags in order to hold things the clasps held her compass her watch a key and dagger one of the straps held one of her guns and a couple vials the bags had other things in them.
She had fingerless gloves which went up to her elbows. She looked pretty with her earrings which were roses and knifes. She wore her hair in a Bubble braid that switched between a normal wave bubble braids are formed and the bubble that was made of smaller braids. Jaskeir learned many things from these ladies.
One was how to love himself without being overly full of himself and narcissistic he had also learned the art of navigating nobility from Venus and all the fun so she cues of being in a very much stuck up part of society and he was taught how to navigate social situations between two parties that were on edge for example idiots not paying witches enough money for dealing with the monsters and beasts.
His mom had taught him the best ways to silently curse people so their clothing didn’t fit right or their makeup didn’t sit right he had also learned the art of how to sneakily kill someone mostly with poison or she called it a weaker and smart person weapon.
He also learned how to use charm speech which was really useful in dealing with crappy people. it did convince people that he wasn’t as strong as he actually was which was very good he even worked on a Witcher a little bit.
His ma Zagreus had taught him compassion history and a lot of things of his own teacher Achilles had taught him when he was in the House of Hades when he was younger well from Zagreus Jerkier learn properly how to properly get blood and was taught the importance of a willing participant and the other bits of his domain he was taught how to heal with blood and how to heal himself with blood he learned how Zagreus’s domain was really.
Mars taught him how to heal and lots of things about plants which ones were dangerous how to spot foxglove or comfy and other things related to plants he was also taught by his dad Ares and how to fight his other siblings as well taught him that and he was trained in how to fight but with Ares his dad he had been taught how to dance why because it won was good exercise 2 it was very good working on his footwork and also it was just fun it was a good way to decompress after his lessons in the Roman camp and he was younger.
“okay I think I want to go home but not right now.” Venus nodded and then she patted his head before she went away to the library and Mars leaned over the breakfast bar and spoke “I hope you finally tell Eskel how you feel about him.”
This makes Jerkier blush a deep red and he exclaimed stammering a bit “really Uncle Mars I told you there was more pressing matters than telling him my silly crush!”
mars didn’t believe him and raised an eyebrow “oh really I distinctly remember you gushing over how pretty he looked even with his face scars you said that he distinctly reminded you of one of your friends. you kept rambling on how beautiful he looked carried himself with kindness and respect and he was just adorable the way he interacted with his goat I distinctly you remember that happening over letters.”
He turns to his mom before speaking with embarrassment “mom! Stop I have told you he thinks he doesn’t deserve any love but sure he is big and strong that he easily kill me but Instead he just held me and he wrapped around me like a blanket or a pillow I’m sorry if I’m attracted to strong people and he is just…”
he realized and buries his head in his hands and he spoke again “I may think he is hot and I love him for how he is. I want to scream compliments at this man because he cannot get the fact that someone actually cares through him romantically and actually wants to have a romantic relationship with him he’s so self-conscious I desire to scream compliments at Eskel I want to be aggressively affectionate but I don’t know if he’s comfortable with that so I’m just in the corner.”
this makes Aphrodite and Mars chuckle and Mars remarks “well you are For sure Ares’s child she is very aggressively affectionate but not too much so you’re definitely his but I suggest to give Eskel gifts first like ambrosia and nectar not the medicine ambrosia and nectar.” This makes him laugh “I don’t think Eskel will understand me giving him the nectar.”
Aphrodite smiles and then “well yeah he never had unconditional love towards him but I think the nectar had embroidered bottles to do him good he deserves something nice all of them do.”
there was an unspoken name that she didn’t speak but she was holding it in her mouth the Jaskeir knew what she was talking about she meant what she said when they deserved love and affection even the one who abandoned him twice because Geralt could not understand the fact that he was allowed to feel emotions now he did only took like five years to understand that.

So some thoughts, hopes, theories for stranger things five. Not gonna tag this spoilers cause like it’s all coming from my own brain none of this is leaks or anything
I know the actor has claimed he isn’t but I wish Argyle would be coming back. And for more than like a guest character the way Suzy is, he was literally a main character of season 4 and if Robin could join the team permanently why not him
On that note I want him and Steve to be besties. I want Steve to have healthy male friendships of his own age but also it would be soooo funny cause Jonathan clearly still has petty beef with Steve after all this time but Steve’s totally moved on and considers Jonathan a friend and he would get along so well with Argyle, I think it would be hilarious because Jonathan would be fuming like he’s bitched to Argyle so much about this guy and Argyle is his best friend and now him and Steve are hitting it off. But he knows he doesn’t have any actual valid reason to be mad so he’s just really bitchy about it
Literally anything about Steve and Robin’s home lives. Literally anything. I am begging for scraps here.
I mean we all know Holly Wheeler’s going to go missing and play some important role in the plot. Is that even a question anymore. This one has always been a matter of when not if
I think there’ll be an episode of the Upside Down invading Hawkins using Vecna’s victims. Like I think it’ll be an episode dedicated to zombie flicks as characters come face to face with corpses of people who had major impacts on them and have to kill them all over again to protect Hawkins. I don’t think that’ll be part of the climax though I think it’ll be like mid-season to ramp up the stakes. Think that’s where we’ll get an Eddie cameo, think we’ll see Barb, we’ll see Billy, we’ll see Chrissy, Fred, Patrick, maaaybe Jason. The real question mark is Bob - he didn’t die in the Upside Down, his body was either completely eaten or it was moved by humans and buried so question mark whether Vecna has any control over him
As far as stancy vs jancy goes I want Nancy to end up single, with acknowledgments that none of them are in a place in their lives to be able to have relationships with each other for various reasons and an emphasis on stoncy moving on and coming together as friends. Most likely though I think jancy will end up together
Duffer bros are for sure going to kill someone off. Ideally for me it would be Jonathan (and I do have well thought out reasons if anyone wants them) but I don’t trust them to do that. Think it’s more likely to be Steve so that Nancy can be with Jonathan without guilt or whatever (would hate that)
I think the Duffer bros are invested in the romances they set up at the beginning of the show. The show started with mileven, jopper, and jancy so I think that’s how they’ll end it. Jancy I think is the most at risk due to them being very aware that Steve is more well-liked than Jonathan (by both general audience and themselves)
I so think Robin will be Will’s gay mentor. Cannot emphasize enough how much I Do Not Want This
I want Kali back. I know it’s not gonna happen. In my rewrite of Season 4 she joins the team permanently so she’s be there in Season 5. But unfortunately the Season 4 rewrite only exists in my head
I would love to see a Joyce-Robin team up. They struggle with so many of the same issues that I would love to see them find strength in each other. Plus Robin could use an adult figure in her life since she apparently doesn’t have parents (sarcasm). I feel like maybe I saw a pic of Maya and Winona filming so this could become a reality but it could also be my hopeful subconscious making shit up
I want Murray and Erica in the same grouping for an extended period of time. With Lucas there because I don’t want Murray alone with her (yikes) and also for the good good Sinclair sibling interactions. Max and Robin can pop in occasionally. I just want like sixteen straight hours of this man being bullied by teen and preteen girls. Would love to see a moment of Sinclair bickering and then Murray steps in and it becomes “oh hell no, no one gets to bully my sibling except me”
I want the season to start with a grouping of Max, Steve, and El. I love the Steve-Max relationship (he’s so older brother coded to her) and I feel like we’ve gotten little hints that Steve and El are close, that he considers her one of his little nuggets but we’ve never actually seen that
On that note I think it’d be funny if we make it through five straight seasons without Will and Steve interacting once
I want Nancy and Mike to find out about their mom nearly hooking up with Billy. It feels so weird and random to include as a plot point if nothing ever comes of it and neither of her kids ever find out. I think it could work for Nancy to find out in order to help her maybe make a decision about her future and her relationships, to really cement what she’s known all along which is that she doesn’t want to end up like her parents. I think for Mike it would affect his friendship with Max, I think he wouldn’t know how to behave about it and it would make thinks difficult between them for a bit
On a similar note I want Mike to have some time away from Will and El. Spend some time with Lucas and Max. He has other relationships that also impact his life besides just those two (even if they are arguably the most important)
I don’t think it really matters what grouping Dustin ends up in since he’ll be awesome no matter what. But since they’re obviously going to make the Wheelers more important, I want sixteen straight hours of him bullying Ted Wheeler
Actually since I also want Dustin and Erica being besties, let’s make that the foursome of the season. Dustin, Erica, Murray, and Ted Wheeler. Just Dustin and Erica bullying these middle aged men who also hate each other - Ted regularly calls Murray a communist and a kook (despite literal proof of other dimensions being right in front of him) and Murray hates him for voting for Reagan
I think that there will be like no reference to Russians. Firstly because this season is gonna be very centralized in Hawkins, I don’t see any plot points that aren’t about Hawkins’ direct focus happening. But also because the Duffers are quite good at listening to audience critiques and adjusting in ways that give the audience what they want without sacrificing their story. And last season they know damn well that the Russia plotline was the least favorite of anyone and that in Season 3 the only reason it was a favorite was due to the grouping of characters
I think Dustin’s plot and character specifically will be inspired by Eddie’s death in the way Nancy’s was by Barb. I wish with all of my being that this would be Mike’s story since he makes the most sense to idolize and emulate Eddie but alas I doubt that will happen. One day I’ll write a post about this. That day is not today
On the one hand I don’t trust them not to kill Steve. On the other hand, killing Steve means he can’t be used in any kind of spin-off…much to consider
I highly doubt byler will happen. I think it’s more likely the season ends for Will the same way Season 4 ended for Robin. I think he’ll spend the season learning to move on from Mike, then in like the second to last scene of the show will meet and bond with some random guy also implied to be gay with the clear subtext that this is Will’s future boyfriend
I want Tommy H and Carol back. I miss them

YOU LOVED YOUR BROTHER. You really did, there was no doubt if you did, but man, does he get on your nerves. Forty-Eight hours ago, you were a normal senior in Hawkins Highschool. Now, Dustin is out exploring a prisoners house while you were stuck with one of your least favorite people in all of Hawkins, Indiana. Eddie “The Freak” Munson.
You two didn’t always hate each other. Matter of fact, the two of you used to be 'best friends,' or whatever that was supposed to mean from two kids in sixth and eighth grade. Neither of you two minded the age gap, the only people that did were your parents, who always thought that he was going to talk you into dating him. You two were practically connected by the waist, or inseparable if you will. Even though you had none of the same classes, you and Eddie found ways to spend most of your sixth grade year and his eighth grade year together, but after he went to high school, you had to find a new group of friends to spend the next two years with. So, there you found Chrissy. She was in the grade below you, but she was still there. There was also Dustin's friend's older sister, Nancy, who was in the grade above you, and even though you were in chorus, this one girl from band, Robin. Being friends with Chrissy eventually pulled you into the more popular crowd, which changed your personality a bit. But Eddie didn't like it. "What the hell? You're acting like a priss." Eddie said one night when the two of you were hanging out. "What's that supposed to mean?" You ask, bitterly. "You just aren't you anymore, (Y/N)." He states. "Whatever, I'm going home." You say, grabbing your stuff and standing up from the leaf covered dirt. "That's exactly what I mean! You can't even listen to what I have to say to you without getting mad anymore." He said, aggravated. "Yeah, whatever Eddie. You're just upset that you aren't the only person in my life anymore." You yell, walking off. The two of you didn't talk after that. The two of you fell out, and until recently you rarely thought of him and his short, curly, black hair, and big brown eyes. But then your mom wanted to meet Dustin's new friend over dinner.
So here you are now, locked up inside of a small boat house with your ex-bestfriend, all thanks to your little brother. Great. "So," He says, "Are we just not going to talk for the next few hours?" He asks, taking a break from his annoyingly loud game of throwing pebbles into a tin can to look at you. You scoff, and walk to the other corner of the house. Once you sit down, you pop in a mixtape you made in seventh grade. Heart of Glass plays from your headphones, and you turn up the cassette player so that you can barely hear anything that Eddie is saying.
"Blondie, huh?" He asks. "Seems like you haven't changed since the last time we spoke. Basic, Princess." He bitches from his spot across the room. He then gets a worried expression on his face and slightly hunches over so he can look out the window. "Eddie, whatever you're trying to do, isn't going to work, so cut it out." You say from your spot, annoyedly. He puts a finger up to his lips, telling you to shush, but you aren't having it. "Eddie stop, it's just annoying." You say again. He walks over to you and takes off your headphones. "There's a car. Its Jason and his friends." He says, and searches for an out. "Are you joking?" You say, walking over to the window. Once you see Jason's car, you panic. You see the boy and his friends walk inside of the main-house, while you and Eddie crouch by the window. Eddie pulls out the walkie-talkie, and starts speaking into it.
"Hey Dustin, it's Eddie. You remember me, right?" He says, then waits for a response. Nothing. "Hey, if anyone's there, I really think me and (Y/N) might be in a bit of trouble here, okay? Wheeler?" He speaks into the metal box. Once there's no response, he smacks it angrily. "Anybody?" He asks, then stands up.
After a few hours, the two of you are still crouched over in the boathouse. "Dustin, please. You there?" Eddie says, then notices a boat outside. "Never mind." He says, then walks outside. "I'm friends with him, I'll just stay here and attempt to stall him." You say looking at Eddie.
You walk out of the house, and Jason notices. He runs out to see you.
"Jason? Is that you?" You ask, looking at the blonde. "(Y/N)? What are you doing out here?" He asks. "Oh, uhm," You say, trying to figure out a good excuse, "This is my uncle's house, I felt like going for a late night swim." You say, making it sound obvious. "Why are you here?" You ask him. "Oh, we thought that freak might be here, because this is where he buys his drugs from do you have any idea where he might be?" Jason asks. "What?" You ask, wishing you were better at lying. "No," You said, but your voice cracks on the 'o'. "(Y/N), just tell me where he is." Jason said, noticing your tension and taking it as you were lying and putting his hand on your shoulder. "I don't Jay, I think you should go home and get some sleep though, you look exhausted," You say, and try to walk away but Jason's fingers dig into your shoulder. "Ah, Jason, that hurts," You say, going to move his hand, but he doesn't budge, "Jason." You say, just making him dig his fingers further in. "Jason, fucking stop." You yell, grabbing his wrist.
"You heard her," Eddie yelled, "Let go." He said. Jason finally lets go of your arm, and you walk over to Eddie, who is still walking towards Jason. You put both of your arms up on his shoulders in an attempt to push him back. "Eddie, stop." You say.
Jason gets up in Eddie's face and spits. "What happened with Chrissy?" The jock huffed, causing Eddie to tense up. "It wasn't me, man." Eddie says.
You don't remember what happened next, or who swung first, but the two started fighting. You didn't want to be cliché and break them up, but you got closer. "You guys are fucking idiots! Break it up!" You yell, attempting to break the two jocks up. Jason lands another clean punch to Eddie's jaw, and Eddie falls to the ground, and Jason ended up adjacent to him. Jason looks at you from his position on the ground and smiles, "Happy princess?" He speaks, smugly. "Get your own nickname." You say, walking over to help Eddie up. "Go get in the boat, I'll be right there." You say as you help him up. You run and grab a jerrycan of gasoline from the boathouse, a few q-tips, a bottle of vodka, and some other necessary supplies.
After filling up the tank, you pull the string on the engine of the boat and it makes a loud noise, signaling the boys that the two of you were there, but you were gone before they could find you.
"Eddie?" You call his attention, your voice somehow sounding weaker than it ever has. "Yeah?" He says, softly. "Why didn't you just leave earlier? I told you that he was my friend and that I trusted him." You ask out of pure curiosity. His face hardens immediately, not wanting to let you back in just yet, and he turns his head to look over at the water. You and him jump out once you reach land, and he leads you to a construction site to.
After stealing a walkie-talkie and finding an empty place in the woods and talkie to the boys through the walkie, he tries to walk off. You grab his arm and lightly pull him closer, while making a sound of disapproval.
"C'mere." You say, dragging him by his sleeve to a log, "What are you doing?" He asks, aggravated, "You'll see." You say, going to pull the stuff out of your bag, but you end up dropping the sealed bag of q-tips, and bottle of vodka, which luckily doesn't break. He attempts to bend over to help you pick up the runaway objects, but you yell at him. "Get your ass on that log or so help me god, Eddie." You say. If looks could kill his brain would be splattered all over the leaves on the ground right about now. By the time he finally makes it to the log, you've picked up everything. You pour vodka on the q-tip and walk towards his face which had a huge cut going from the end of his right eyebrow to the end of his right cheek, and a small cut on his lip. You stand in front of him so that you can clean his wounds.
You reach your arm out to the cut on his eyebrow and he dodges the q-tip. "Wow, where do you think you're going with that?" He asks, "I'm trying to clean your cut, Eddie." You say, trying again but he dodges your attempt. When he dodges you again, you hold the q-tip in your mouth and grab his head in your hands. "Stop," You say with the q-tip in your mouth, and use one hand to grab it and keep the other on his face. He finally stops, but every time you press the cold, q-tip to his skin he flinches. "Stay still, I'm trying to help you." You say, looking him dead in his beautiful, dark brown eyes.
You reach to clean the very top of his brow, but you lean too far and lose your balance. Eddie catches you, and helps you stand back up. "May I?" You ask, pointing at his lap. "If you wanted to fuck me, just say so, (Y/N)." He smirks. "Whatever." You say, turning to walk away. "No, I was kidding!" He says, laughing. You turn back to face him, and put your legs on either side of him, balancing yourself on his legs. You look at his cut and press the q-tip to it, but he doesn't flinch this time. "Why?" He says, looking into your eyes. "Why what?" You ask, letting a small smile creep onto your lips. "Why do you want to help me, (Y/N)?" He asks, his expression remaining unreadable. "I hate seeing you upset. These past few days have made me realize how much I missed you." You say with a sad smile on your face. You reach into your bag to grab him a Band-Aid, then take of the white covering and stick it on his forehead.
"Really? A Band-Aid? So uncool, (Y/N)." Eddie says, rolling his eyes sarcastically. "You wanna know what's not cool?" You ask, looking at him, "Staph infections." You say, and it gets an uproar of laughter out of him. "That's really all you got?" He laughs. "Shut up! I was under pressure!" You say, starting to laugh too. "I'm taking it off." He says. "Don't you dare." You say, grabbing his hand that's slowly moving towards it. "Ah," He says, "You have fallen into my trap." He says, giving you that smirk you missed. He intertwines his fingers with yours and gets close to your ear, and your heart starts to beat so fast you can hear it. He lifts one of his hands and uses it to cup your cheek. "(Y/N)," He whispers, "May I?" He asks, recalling what you said earlier. "If you really want to kiss me, just do it, Eddie." You smile, adding your own twist to what he said moments prior.
He leans back and lifts your chin up so that you're looking him in his eyes. "God, you're so beautiful." He says before he smashes his lips against your silky ones. You kiss him softly, wanting this moment to last forever, while he isn't as patient. He softly bites your lip and presses his tongue against your lips, asking for entry as you grip his hair in your soft hands. You grant his wishes, and his tongue grazes over your front teeth. He breaks apart to trail down your cheek and chin until he reaches your neck, leaving beautiful marks all over the right side of your neck. You let out a moan at the sensation of his calloused hands under your shirt, rubbing your back.
"Oh." You hear a childlike voice say. Both of you freeze. "Okay." The voice says again, which you make out to be Dustin's. Fuck. The two of you break apart and face your younger brother... and six other people. "There were a ton of bugs, we were just helping each other get them off." You say. "It sounded a lot better in my head." You finish, and got off of Eddie's lap.
"So..." Robin says, "What happened with the guys back at the house?" She finishes, changing the topic.

Someone reblogged the pumpkin Tim fight I wrote earlier (see HERE) and left some tags with a comment about some aftercare. Why not? Here’s some hurt/comfort from Jason’s POV. I’d tag them, but Tumblr is being Tumblr.
Breaking into the Pretender’s apartment is never an easy feat, but it’s one that Jason has managed multiple times--ostensibly in the name of seeking out the weak spots. In reality, it’s for the periodic itch that needs to be scratched and for some fucking reason, Timmy is the one he goes to for exactly that.
This time though, he’s got a concussed Red Robin sprawled across his back in a fireman’s carry, slipping and sliding thanks to the pumpkin guts all over him.
Why the hell did he sign up for this?
Right. Alfred. Jason isn’t sure how the old man knows about the arrangement between him and Tim, but he does. And Bruce apparently doesn’t, which is just fucking fine with him. What they do behind closed doors is none of his business.
Okay, so maybe it didn’t exactly start behind closed doors, but that’s beside the point.
The last trap is finally disarmed and Jason makes his way into the Pretender’s home. It’s just as messy as the last time he was here a couple of weeks ago, but he knows Tim--there’s a method to the madness. In that big head of his, everything is in its place and he can zero in on it in moments.
Which is why moving shit around before leaving is so much fun.
But Jason isn’t here for that. Not this time.
Tim moans softly as he’s sat on the floor in the large bathroom, propped against one wall. His head sags forward and Jason remembers what he’d said earlier, about his vision blacking out.
“Shit, Pretender,” he says quietly, removing his gloves to gently probe the back of Tim’s head. “Why the hell were you even out tonight?”
Three days without sleep, that’s what Alfred had said when he called Jason to find Tim and bring him home. All jokes aside, a Red Robin on a full day of sleep would have kicked the Great Gourd--heh, that was a good one--into next week. Hell, even a Red Robin on two days without sleep could have.
Jason frowns as his fingers find a damp spot. “Please be pumpkin guts,” he mutters, drawing back his hand to look.
No luck. The tips of his fingers were red.
That means only one thing--someone needs a CT scan or maybe even an MRI, immediately.
Tim stirs. “Wha--Where am I?”
“Your bathroom, Timmers,” Jason answers, using his clean hand to remove the domino from Tim’s face. Big blue eyes blink owlishly at him as neither pupil responds to the light around them. “You able to see me?”
“There’s two of you. No...three?” Tim’s head flops to the side and his bangs conceal those beautiful eyes. “I don’t think I can take three of you at once.”
Jason can’t help as his mind goes right to the gutter. “Two, maybe. One at each end. It would take a lot of prep to get you ready for three.”
Tim laughs weakly, then winces. “Ow, that hurts.”
“Yeah, your head is banged up pretty good. I hate saying this, but I think we need to get you back to the Cave for Alfie to patch you up.”
“No.” Tim tries to bat Jason’s hands away. A newborn kitten has more strength, sheesh.
“Sorry, no can do. You’re bleeding.”
Still, Tim is more coherent than he’d expected, so that’s a win.
“No, I don’t wanna go. Call Kon.”
Jason blinks because what? “Call the Superman-wannabe? Why?”
Tim might be concussed, but the expression on his face is 1000% the one he wears when he thinks someone is being an idiot. “Cuz he has x-ray vision. He can see if there’s something wrong. He’s done it enough times for me.”
“Oh, really?”
Shit, when Tim’s feeling better--hell, maybe even a bit before so his wily ass can’t escape--they’re gonna have a few words about just how often Tim gets hurt and doesn’t tell anyone in the family.
“I think we’re gonna have a little chat about that later,” Jason continues as he starts to remove pieces of the Red Robin uniform. It’s a bitch as he tries not to jostle Tim too much, but once he’s got the main catch released, the rest comes off easy.
He carefully doesn’t think about how much practice he’s had doing that under much more rushed and darker circumstances.
“Do we have to?” Tim asks. His voice is starting to slide back into the slur that seems to precede him passing out.
Jason takes hold of his chin and gently raises it so that their eyes meet. There are streaks of drying pumpkin across one cheek. “Yeah, Timbers. I think we do.”
Tim sighs as his eyes close again. “Fine,” he whispers, so soft that if Jason weren’t right there, he’d have missed it.
He slumps forward into Jason’s arms as he falls back into unconsciousness.
Well, fuck. So much for asking what the super-clone’s number is. Still, he does have one advantage most people don’t.
Assuming the super is even listening.
“Hey, Kon-El! The other half of your World’s Finest 2.0 team is askin’ for your help! Or was asking... He’s passed out.”
Now all he has to do is wait. Idly, Jason pulls Tim into a more comfortable position in his lap and strokes at the fine black hair on his replacement’s head. His fingers catch on a clump of pumpkin and he frowns, eyeing it crossly.
He’ll give Kon five minutes before calling Babs, Tim’s preferences be damned.
They’re still sitting there together a few minutes later when Kon arrives, with Jason carefully picking pumpkin guts from Tim’s hair.

Note
p,,, p l e a s e ? I mean, please don't feel pressured to tell us about Herc either though!!! but if you want to ramble about her I'll very happily listen,,,,, as a greek mythology buff with fate brain rot your Herc makes me,,,, very happy,,,,, 🥺
HECC YEAH!
Alright, so as a disclaimer, she looks Like That(tm) because I’ve had Heracles as an OC since I was like an 11yo, so LONG before I even knew Fate existed and I’m not planning on changing the way she looks to look more like FSF/FSN Herc.
I also think that the armor I already have designed on her looks closer to Achilles/Jason/Asclepius/Odysseus’s more mecha-centered looks for Fate Greek Servants.
Tumblr media
Next, I’ve established that the reason she is female is two separate reasons, and this has to do with compatibility for Roleplay:
When I did roleplay with others, I just had it set that she was from Musashi’s timeline and she isn’t actually the Heracles/Alcides of our timeline.
For my personal writing, it’s like an Artoria situation where history chose to remember her as a man because misogynistic Ancient Greece being like, ‘well there’s no way a woman could be a child of Zeus and this powerful and skilled at being in charge, so you must actually be a man’.
Second Disclaimer: no one has permission to take my designs and recreate them or use them for RP or fanfics.
SO listed below are the major points about her history in this verse and also how she currently operates as a Servant!!
In her history:
Same song and dance as the beginning where her powers surfaced at a young age, so Chiron found her and took her in to train her to be a hero. However, the change-up here is that Zeus gifted Heracles a portion of his power when she was born because he had the intention of this child being the hero that would guide Greece into a new age as his tickcet for his bet with Hera (this was in the 12 Trials original writing). Basically she never had a choice on whether or not she would be a hero.
When she traveled to Thebes in order to attempt to enter the Thebian Army, a whole situation happened with a coup and an attack with a hydra from Lernaea that got lured to Thebes from a nest by the people doing the coup... It was an entire thing. Heracles defeated the hydra and helped identify the traitor guards, so she was able to prove herself to Queen Eurydice and King Creon, who immediately had her married to their son Megara (below).
Tumblr media
(he may have been in line for the Thebian throne and an incredibly skilled warrior, but he was THE Malewife.)
A bit before she moved to Thebes, when she was staying in Athens, Eurystheus met her and fell in love with her, but when she rejected his feelings that was when Hera came to him and ‘chose him as her champion’ so she could start her dirty ass scheme.
Tumblr media
Heracles had a happy and loving marriage with Megara and they had one daughter and two sons. She would frequently go out with the Argonauts, but always came home to them as soon as she got back on shore.
When the Hera Snake Shit(tm) happened, Heracles was... broken. After the fact, the shock and grief made her go mad all over again until she dragged herself to Thebes and tried to convince Eurystheus to execute her, but because he was in cahoots with Hera he forced Heracles to the 12 Trials instead to ‘redeem’ herself... and this shit lasted 12 years, btw. So that’s 12 years of retraumatizing herself by being forced to do these impossible feats to be forgiven for the murders she was forced by Hera to commit... on top of Hera also sabotaging the Trials wherever she could.
When Heracles completed the initial 10, Eurystheus tricked her into two more, and after completing those two she snapped and nearly killed him, screaming at him to free her. It was then that Eurystheus bitched out and confessed everything to Heracles; Hera’s hatred, her whole plan... all of it. Heracles then stormed her ass out of Mycenae and Thebes and never returned.
She spent the rest of her life until her death by Nessus being cruel, cold, and tyrannical. Heracles had 1 (one) last biological child that she left with a king who would eventually raise that child to found Sparta (Leonidas’s ancestor), but the rest of her very numerous children were all actually orphaned or less fortunate children that she adopted so they could claim the title of ‘child of Heracles’ to help themselves get ahead in life (this is where the Heracleidae came to be). Even so, she usually left them on their own and didn’t open herself to them as a mother-figure.
Her life as a Servant:
She may have manifested as an Avenger class, but this is because of Megara becoming a part of her soul and manifesting with her as the manifestation of her hatred for the gods; he’s made the active choice to turn himself into the arrow meant to kill Hera.
If it weren’t for Megara bonding with her Spirit Core, Heracles would qualify for Grand Berserker class. Because of this, Heracles still has a Madness Enhancement factor that will kick in when she encounters a god. Very similar to when Penthisilea goes buckwild at the mention of Achilles, except it only activates and makes her black out when she is face-to-face with and aware that someone is a god.
Despite being an Avenger, she has an incredibly sweet disposition, especially towards kids. A habit from her life that stuck with her as a Servant is that if she sees a child (Heroic Spirit or not) who has no parents or awful parents, she WILL adopt them and start calling them her child, and no, not in the creepy weird m*mmy k*nk way, foh. In some cases, she’ll just adopt someone because they look like they could be her child. One fucking hilarious instance of this is that she has adopted Archer Emiya even though he gripes all the time that they look the same age physically. Does she care?? NO, that’s her son, babey!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her Noble Phantasms are the almost the same as FSF Archer Alcides, especially Reincarnation Pandora and King’s Order... and Reincarnation Pandora is actually the reason why she would up contracting with Goetia. But she also has the manifestation of all 12 Trials, albeit in a different form than what Archer Alcides can bring them forth as, and this is because by some handiwork by Daedalus, Heracles can alter the King’s Order to adapt to whatever situation she needs them for.
ex: Cerberus can become a motorcycle aside from also being a three headed hellhound and the famous Lernian Hydra can turn into a Mercedes Benz aside from also being the fuck-off giant Kinghidorah.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daedalus messing with Heracles’s Noble Phantasms is the most shown in her (Daedalus is a woman in this verse bc fuk u) alteration of Nine Lives to be a multi-adaptable weapon with nine different functionalities that Heracles can flip them to at a moment’s notice. These alternate forms include: bow, twin swords, double-ended spear, polearm, long barreled rifle, twin short arms, bludgeon, battering ram, and can even conform to the braces on her arms and become gauntlets (yes, her and Ruler Martha would vibe).
Tumblr media
(I realize that this isn’t the best design, I’m still working on drawing weapons)
Oh, I almost forgot about her other non-combatant quirk: she fucking LOVES blond men. If a grown dude is a blond and NOT a Greek-- regardless of anything else about their physical appearance-- it cranks their attractiveness scale up by at least 2 points for her. Goetia, Fionn, Arthur/Artoria, Gawain, Kintoki, Gilgamesh (he’s on thin fuckin ice), Jekyll, Goredolf... none of them are safe.
She also very much loves modern era fashion and dressing up. Heracles quickly befriends a lot of the female Servants/staff and goes on periodic ladies nights out with them.

Seeing Green Ch. 13
The figure that rose once the purple cleared away. He looked about two feet above the tallest man there, his muscular body wrapped in bandages, reminding Marinette of a mummy. Chains hung from him, and his eyes glowed a sickly green.
"Jason.. Oh no.." Eva whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.
" I am not Jason." Those vile green eyes turned towards Eva, and he grinned to show off his mouth full of sharp teeth. "I am Lazarus, and I am here to destroy those who aren't worth redeeming."
Lazarus gripped one of his chains tightly in one hand, the rusted metal beginning to glow green. He trained his eyes on Lila and he grinned. He back and struck, lashing out with the chain.
"Lila, look out!" Sabrina screamed. Lila let out her own scream and grabbed Sabrina's arm, shoving her in front of her. Sabrina was then wrapped up in the chain, and let out a howl of pain as her eyes glowed green. Everyone watching could see the veins in her body light up the same sickly green colour and her howls turned into screams of rage.
"Everyone, you need to get out, now!" Marinette stood firm and shouted. That seemed to shake the dumbstruck crowd and a mass panic ensured. Marinette reached out and grabbed Eva's hand, gripping it tightly and the two began running, looking to hide and transform. But those ideas were quickly dashed when Kim grabbed the both of them and dragged them off.
So here they were, locked in a room with their class and Miss Bustier. All the meanwhile, Lila was seated in a chair, sobbing while her entourage tried to soothe her.
"P- poor Sabrina sacrificed herself for me, she was such a good friend!" Lila whimpered, while Mylène patted her arm and Ivan tried her best to cheer her up.
"Are you all fucking serious?" Marinette snapped. Everyone turned and stared at the girl in shock, as her cursing was… Impossible. Marinette stormed right up to Lila, fury blazing in her eyes. "This is all your fault, yours and Alya's. Why, why can't you just leave things alone, Lila? Now Jason is akumatized, and he's not just some civilian, Lila, he knows military combat, he's a fighter and now he's out for your blood."
"But how is an akuma here?" Rose whispered in horror, clinging tightly to Juleka, who looked equally as terrified. "Hawkmoth is in Paris, isn't he..?"
"Obviously not anymore." Max muttered, his own nerves wracked horribly at the sight of the akuma.
"None of this would have happened if you had kept your kids under control, Caline." Eva snapped, leaning against the locked door and trembling. When she heard Lazarus roar, she shut her eyes tightly, a few tears streaking down her cheeks  "Now Jason is akumatized because you let a liar and her rabid bitch run loose."
"Excuse me?! You're the one who's been fucking my boyfriend!" Alya snapped, taking a threatening step towards Eva, only to be cut off by Nino getting into her path.
"I broke up with you because you're not the same Alya I first started dating. You're selfish, self absorbed, and only think about yourself and Lila. I don't love you anymore, I hate you. Eva never touched me, Lila lied, just like she lied about everything else!" Nino got right in Alya's face, trying to get her to see reason. But it was like talking to a brick wall and Alya began screaming in his face.
Marinette looked around the room, dread curling in her gut as she saw no other doors, no windows. There was only one exit and there was no way to get out.
How could Damian and his family handle an akuma alone? They didn't have her powers of purification, or her Cure, or her Lucky Charm. She had to get out, but with her classmates here…
"Marinette, I need the necklace." Eva turned out, her body shivering and her voice strained with pain. This caught the class' attention. Eva strode up and grabbed the young heroine's shoulders. "Please, he's hurting! I can't just leave him out there, I have to save him!"
"B-but…!" Marinette stared into those tear filled eyes, her mouth going dry as she realized they didn't really have a choice.
"What the hell are you talking about, you don't have to do anything. Lila can just call Ladybug and she'll come and save us." Alya snapped, having returned to sit beside Lila, all the while everyone listened to the screams of horror and Lazarus roaring for Lila and Alya to face him.
"They can't fight this alone, you know this! And Hawkmoth is in Gotham, Marinette, how else could there be an akuma here?! He's here, he's in unknown territory!" Eva's voice became more frantic.
Marinette was quiet for a heartbeat, before she grabbed her clutch she had set on a table and opened it. Tikki stared up at her in shock, then grim acceptance. When the Kwami flew up, the class went deathly silent.
"I'm sorry, Tikki, I wish I didn't have to." Marinette whispered, cupping her hands to let the Kwami sit. "I'm going to be exposed."
"... This may be your only chance to get Hawkmoth. We'll figure this all out later, I promise." Tikki smiled, and then it finally seemed to click.
"Marinette, you're… Ladybug?" Nino whispered as realization hit him. Marinette merely met his gaze and smiled.
"Tikki, spots on!"
And as Ladybug stood firm before them, she looked different. Gone was the spandex one-piece of spots. Her long dark hair was up in a ponytail, her body clad in a red suit with black armour on the shoulders, around her waist, arms, and legs. Her signature yoyo hung at her hip and her feet were clad in black combat boots.
The class erupted in a surprised frenzy, but Marinette ignored them, turning instead towards Eva, opening her yoyo and taking out a small box, setting it in her friend's hands.
Eva gratefully opened the box and Trixx appeared, going and nuzzling his Chosen as she out on the necklace.
Lila and Alya stared at the familiar looking necklace as reality finally clicked in.
"That's mine!" Alya screeched, getting to her feet and racing over, only to halt abruptly when Trixx flew into her face, the Kwami looking furious.
"You, Alya Césaire, were unworthy to hold this Miraculous. I may be the being of tricks and illusions, yes, but I am also the being of truth. How can one expect to create convincing illusions if one cannot see the truth in all things? You and Lila Rossi are beings of lies, her weaving the tales and you drinking them down as if they were a fine wine. I never thought of you as my kit, Césaire, you are only a disgrace."
"You… You're wrong.." Alya whispered, taking a shaky step back. Eva merely stared at the reporter as she transformed, revealing Lady Vixen in all her glory. Said heroine then reached out and grabbed Alya's phone, throwing it against the floor to smash it, swiftly doing the same to Lila's phone before either girl could react.
"You breathe one word about our identities to anyone and I'll never forgive you." Ladybug announced, the look in her cold blue eyes scaring everyone in the room. "Now stay here and try not to make things worse."
The class watched wordlessly as Ladybug left them without taking a look back.
Gone was the loyalty and the trust. She'd never give any of them a Miraculous again, even to those who had asked for forgiveness.
If their loyalty was so frail, why would she bother?
Robin hated Lila with every inch of his being at that moment. He dodged another chain, causing it to wrap around a pillar and thus breaking it. He landed on one of the tables, only to be tackled by one of the brain washed drones of pure madness Lazarus had created.
Damian knew this madness, he had been affected by it once himself. He drew back and punched the man on top of him in the face, sending him flying backwards.
"Anyone seen Ladybug?" Nightwing spat out some blood, having taken a fist to the face, courtesy of Lazarus.
"No, Red Robin, did you see where the butterfly touched?" Batman called out as he tried to get in a clear shot to try and taze Lazarus, but there were too many of the goons in the way.
"Look out!" Queen Bee used her spinning top to pull Batman out of the way of oncoming chains, Ryuko and Viperion quickly joining after.
"We need to find the akumatized item and destroy it!" Ladybug called out, as Red Robin jumped onto Lazarus' back, tasering him  to try and weaken him. But it had little effect, with Lazarus grabbing the hero around the waist and tossing him through one of the glass windows.
Lazarus was brutal and bloodthirsty, in the simplest of terms. When he punched or grabbed, he sought to destroy. He grabbed onto Nightwing's leg and crushed it. Starfire, infuriated by the harm caused to him, began pelting the akuma with attacks.
"I need to find what was akumatized!" Ladybug called out, watching as Vixen kept calling out Jason's name, telling him to fight it. Ladybug glanced over at Robin, feeling her panic spike. "Then we need to break it, I can't purify the butterfly without it."
"What's the plan?" Ryuko landed beside her, watching as Queen Bee and Viperion tried to distract Lazarus, attempting to give them more time.
"I…" Ladybug stared at Lazarus, an icy feeling growing in her belly. She watched as Queen Bee was knocked to the ground, then brutally stomped on by Lazarus, the sound of cracking bone and Queen Bee's scream rattling Ladybug to her very bones.
Ryuko and Viperion cried out Queen Bee's name,  rage filling them as they rushed forward. Robin avoided a swipe, then saw Ladybug standing there, frozen in place and looking terrified.
"Angel? Ladybug, what's wrong?" He ran over, pulling her out of the way of an oncoming chain and both of them rolling under a table. He held the trembling heroine close. "Mari?"
Blood rushed in her head, the roaring sound filling her ears. She couldn't do this, she couldn't think of a plan… Chat had usually helped and now she didn't have him anymore…
She was useless without him…
"Angel, snap out of it!" Robin gave her a rough shake, snapping her out of her stupor. He stared at her, then cupped her face in her hands. "Don't listen to anything he's told you, understand? You are amazing, smart, and you handled Hawkmoth and his minions all by yourself. You've done it and I know you can do it, we're all behind you."
Ladybug's eyes seemed to focus and a determined look took over her expression. She rolled out from under the table and grabbed her yo-yo.
"Lucky Charm!" She shouted, tossing it in the air as Batman was sent flying by Lazarus hitting him.
When a spotted crowbar landed in her hands, Nightwing saw it and let out a slew of curses.
"Is this some sort of sick joke?" He snapped, while Ladybug stared up at him before shaking her head, dumbfounded. "Well this isn't funny! You don't take that think anywhere near him, you understa-"
Nightwing was cut off by being promptly grabbed and slammed into the floor, the marble cracking beneath them.
"Give me your Miraculous, Ladybug!" Lazarus snarled as he grabbed a different chain, and it shot out at her. She screamed as she was ensnared in the chain and sharply dragged over to the akuma, dropping the crowbar in the process. As she was dragged, she struggled to get the chains loose, but they were bound so tightly that she could feel even her bones straining.
Lazarus quickly grabbed her by the throat, his other hand going for her ear. A purple mask appeared over Lazarus' enraged face, and a sickly grin spread. He firmly grasped one of the earrings, and began to pull. Ladybug gazed deep into those madness ridden eyes, and frowned.
"Bruce wouldn't want you to do this. Neither would Dick, or Tim, or Damian. Fight it, Jason, please. We can get Lila without you doing this." She urged him, her hand managing to find her yo-yo and she began to fiddle with it. As she distracted the akuma with her speech, as he halted his movements, she kicked the Black Cat ring in Robin's direction. And she knew deep in her heart that she was making the right choice.
"That's the thing, I know people like Lila… They never get punished. They only care about themselves and feed off the weak, and it seems nobody is doing anything about it.." Lazarus snarled, his grip tightening on her throat, making her squeak in pain. "I will give her an experience that she'll never forget."
"My, my, this is quite a surprise." The voice snapped both Lazarus and Ladybug out of their stupor, and they looked over and saw the Joker standing not too far from them, firmly grasping the spotted crowbar. "I must say, hot shot, you certainly do know how to clear a room."
"You…" Lazarus snarled, dropping Ladybug to the ground as he suddenly began his advance towards the Joker. "You bastard!"
Ladybug watched in horror as Lazarus charged at Joker, who drew back the crowbar and hit him in his thigh. Before she could call out, a figure landed by her side.
She stared at the new Black Cat, his outfit reminding her of one of the pictures Alfred had once shown her on young Damian, when he first came to Gotham. It was all black, with accents of the acidic green, the emblem of the Black Cat shown firmly on his chest. His hood was drawn up, having the faint outline of cat ears, and his face was adorned with a black domino mask, the eyes only a glowing, constant green.
"Hello Angel." He held up a powered up and pressed it against the chains. They crumbled into dust, finally freeing the heroine. He stumbled back a step when Marinette suddenly hugged him, but he quickly hugged her back, holding her close. "It's okay, we can do this."
Ladybug nodded firmly and turned towards Lazarus, where he had Joker pinned to the floor, his hands wrapped around his neck and squeezing tightly.
"I'll kill you, finally doing something Batman was too cowardly to do." Lazarus snarled, completely immersed in strangling the clown, even when a purple mask appeared over his face and Hawkmoth screamed in his head.
That was when Ladybug noticed something. Bound to Lazarus' chest by the yellowed bandages was a single rose. Her eyes narrowed in confusion, before realization kicked in. She rushed forward and shoved Lazarus, knocking him off balance and away from Joker, who quickly turned back into a gasping Lady Vixen. Eyes focused, she quickly ducked under Lazarus' swinging arms, before grabbing the flower and promptly crushing it.
Jason collapsed to the floor with a groan as the black butterfly left the destroyed flower. Ladybug grinned and quickly shot out her yoyo. Batman watched as she let the small creature go, then tossed the discarded crowbar in the air.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
And suddenly the destroyed room was back to its immaculate form. There were a series of beeps and everyone except Ryuko and Queen Bee transformed back.
"I suppose you want this back." Damian smiled as he strode towards the exhausted Marinette, beginning to take off the ring. But Marinette set a hand over his to stop him.
"Damian Wayne, I, the Guardian of the Miraculous, hereby grant you the Miraculous of the Black Cat. May you serve it well." She smiled up at him, taking his hand and lacing their fingers.
Damian stared down at her. He had known he had outgrown the mantle of Robin for quite some time, but he had never expected this. A grin spread across his face and he scooped her up for a fierce kiss.
"I promise I'll be much better than that mangy alley cat. Tadmir, the new Black Cat, vows this to you." He promised, resting his forehead against hers. They heard the giggles from Tikki and Plagg, but chose to ignore them. But it was when they noticed everyone rushing over to where Jason was struggling to stand, that they pulled apart and ran over.
"Well.." Jason gave a shaky smile, being supported by Dick and Tim. "That was one hell of a party, huh?"
The Miraculous team stared at the city skyline, seeming deep in thought, as Batman and his team approached.
"Are you certain he's in the city?" Batman spoke as Ladybug turned towards him, her arms crossed.
"Yes, Tikki told me she could sense the Butterfly Miraculous as well as the Peacock. They're here, and things will get worse if we don't stop them."
"We'll find them, and then we'll finish this once and for all." Tadmir set a supportive hand on Ladybug's shoulder, earning himself a smile from her.
But then a flicker of bright blue caught everyone's attention.
Ladybug watched, slack jawed, as Mayura ran across the rooftop adjacent to them, carrying something in her arms. No, not something, someone.
Adrien.
"No…" Ladybug whispered, her voice shaky with rage. Something in her snapped and she immediately took after the villian.
"Ladybug!" Queen Bee called out, the others quickly following.
But Ladybug didn't pay attention, her heart pounding, the blood roaring in her ears as she focused in on Mayura.
Follow Mayura, find Hawkmoth.
And he wasn't going to escape, he wasn't going to hole up in some liar and sent out minions.
Ladybug was going to finish this once and for all.

⭐️ - My muse is injured (Wendy is hurt)
4. Your Muse Is Injured
Falling In - Alfred x Wendy
Tumblr media
He should have demanded to know why Bruce had phoned him sooner. Alfred felt his heart thud in his chest at his son's words. "She fell dad, she says she slipped, someone says that bitch from accounting pushed her...she broke her arm" (Mrs Wayne-Fifteen Years Later Verse)
Alfred had returned from a meeting in London, Wendy had been too busy to attend the annual parties conference due to an event being hosted back here in Gotham and had dropped into the seat in the car to grim-looking Bruce.
"She fell dad, she says she slipped, someone said that bitch from accounting pushed her, either way, she's in hospital...she broke her arm in two places, her ankle too, she's been in and out of consciousness for three days, they haven't determined whether there's any brain damage"
Bruce had driven him straight to her bedside where for three days he reminded unmovingly and praying. His sons came and went, his daughter joined him on vigil wait for her mother to wake up. Prove to them that she would be okay.
He feared the wort that she might not, he couldn't begin to plan how to cope should Wendy be unable to care for her family anymore. A nasty urge bubbled in his chest, desperation for something strong. Something he'd kicked a long time before.
Bruce eventually pulled him from her side for a few hours alongside Richard to shower and eat, to delegate the business to them and step down from his position as CEO.
Richard and Jason feared he was going to break as the hospital reported no change in her condition for four further days. By day six of Alfred's return, Bruce was pouring morphine down a drain and Jason was left on night duty to his father rooms.
"without I'm just lost, incomplete, yeah you feel like home to me"
The day she woke, she woke up confused and annoyed. She was thankfully all there, a minor concussion still hung at the edges but she passed all the cognitive tests and the scan proved no damage to her skull.
The first thing she did was take the phone from her daughter and start shouting. "ALFRED JULIAN PENNYWORTH GET YOUR ARSE UP AND GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF IT, IF YOU'RE NOT DOWN HERE SOBER IN THE NEXT HOUR I'M SENDING YOU BACK TO NEW YORK"
It was an empty threat, but the sound of her voice had him rushing for the door, Jason at his arm helping into a car.
He didn't remember much from the drive to the hospital doors until he stumbled through the corridor, sons in tow to see her sitting up in bed furious and arguing with her secretary on speaker.
She hangs up after a few moments watching as her family usher their father into a chair. The rest of them relieved approach their mother for cuddles and kisses, laughing and smiling, happy to find everything was going to be okay.
Eventually, Alfred looked up to see her disappointed face, fearing it had all been a horrible dream, a memory of her taunting him back to her bedside. None moved as he pushed to his feet, cane in hand and approached her outstretched hand, collapsing into her chest in tears, whimpering and begging for forgiveness at his lapse of self-control.
"don't leave me... don't please"
He'd go to New York a hundred times if it would only mean that he could stay with her forever. The family took it somewhat in turn to express their disappointment at his relapse, Bruce being really the only one to have any sense of sympathy because he knew just what his mother meant to him.
"She's your heart, you gave her everything she ever wanted and you left yourself in a position to think you don't deserve anything else but redemption through her... losing her meant you didn't think you deserved anything else, but I'm still mad you thought you could just abandon us..."
He'd been forgiven the second he'd given in, but the lesson reminded Alfred that from then on he had more to worry about now than just his fear of pain. His heart was made up of more than just him and Wendy now and he had to remember he was the soul to the family. Wendy was at its heart but he gave them the soul to be how strong they were. They were built on the memories of getting up after falling down.
Whether his wife had just taken a flight of stairs backwards, she sat here as bright as the sun in the sky and he smiled to think...that the greatest fall he had ever taken was to fall in love.

Last but not least: PJO hot takes part IV!
Alright my dudes. I think we’re still in this game for one final round. Anyway here’s wonderwall. And Part 1//Part 2//Part 3!
Percy had actually knowledge about the Greek myths. He didn’t waddle in blindly. Where did y’all even get that?
The new possible Irish myth saga will be PJO 3.0 aka Magnus Chase 2.0 aka The Kane Chronicles 1.2.
Riordan already got the names of gods of that possible saga wrong
Riordan‘s Asian characters only know bitch or bland mode, huh
Stop babying Annabeth for fucks sake. Seriously
How the fuck did Sally afford several private schools for Percy when they were poor as fuck? I guess Gabe had to have a some somewhat decent job but then again playing poker/being a gambler and stealing from your stepson ain’t a cute move
Hazel should’ve been Thanatos‘ kid. To break the classic 12 Olympian mold (yeah Hades/Pluto technically isn’t one but he’s still team major gods) and also to throw the damned Hitler/Pluto aesthetics away
Did any of the kids break their limps or get permanently disabled at some point? Or do they just... die (and mostly stay dead)? I forgot
Where can the kids at Camp Half-Blood actually sneak off to fuck? Percy is legit the only one to claim his own shit as his love bunker. The rest is just fucked I guess or has first hand traumatic pre-college experiences
”Percy cursed“. Literally why, Riordan. Let the kid say fuck. He has earned the rights to do so a long time ago
Did I mention that people lack of basic reading skills in earlier takes? Anyway. Here’s another reminder!
Tbh the gods are egotistical fucks and have killed people for the fuck of it. I don’t see Poseidon being even close to okay with Sally marrying Gabe or Paul
I still don’t understand why Frazel is a thing
Most of you don’t understand how movie production works but that’s okay. Just know that everything inside your head will never be realized and there will be drastic cuts and additions to the books (again)
The electronics not working thing doesn’t even make any goddamn sense? Hermes is the god of the Internet. Does this mean that demigods can use the web just fine but simply can’t call each other? This really came back to bite Riordan in the ass now did it? Wouldn’t it make more sense to use old means of communication once you’re trying to reach more important/godly people or electronics fail in an accute situation?
Turning everyone heteroflexible creates the image that you’re simply liking a character for the fact that they are LGBTQ and not the character itself, just saying. More representation sure, but that itself isn’t a personality trait and shouldn’t be the main focus of a character unless it’s really defining in the story line (Nico‘s arc partially for example)
Tbh, HOO should’ve been aged up mentor Percabeth protecting CHB, with the rest of the gang fucking up Greece with aged Reyna + Nico perhaps. I might post an outline on that AU someday (someone should remind me about that tho)
On one hand you have in depth discussions and people diving into the matter and talking about every nook and cranny and on the other hand people are more then just fine with stereotyping and deflecting. Whut. Okay
Why are people shipping the lie that is Jasper/Jasiper
Stop romanticizing the gods
Dark!Percy is just a cheap way for you to turn Percy into an overpowered asshole and that’s that tea
Being in a relationship isn’t a personality trait, my dear shippers
Riordan‘s timeline is off because the coke rush didn’t last that long
The wasted potential of everything past PJO makes me want to cry
Percy’s fatal flaw isn’t stupid, Riordan just didn’t flesh it out properly which is why there were no real repercussions. A fatal flaw is supposed to be hindering you and not a compliment
The fact that adult people still can’t take jokes about their favorite characters is fucking insane part II
Why the fuck did the Stolls get tossed aside? Bruh. The potential? The stigma as a Hermes kid? They trying to redeem their cabins honor? Imagine one of them as a prophecy kid in HOO (and they’d switch and swap to confuse everyone)? Yes??
Every single one of you that essentially is team poc!Percy because he had a rough upbringing deserves to get slapped. Poverty, abuse, a single parent, etc. doesn’t equate to being poc?!?!? Smells racist just saying
Turning Hazel into Nico‘s sister was cheap af
Stop romanticizing and down playing the myth aspect. Tragedy is essential and will haunt demigods. Thank you, next
Also stop babying Percy
Let’s be honest none of those fuckers make it to college
Annabeth Chase is fucking WHITE part II. She’s not biracial, she’s not ”exotic“, she’s certainly not fucking black. She’s white with a little hint of a tan. That still makes her white. Do you really want to turn her into Ariana Grande 2.0? A fucking botched orange? This is your Annabeth aesthetic? Artists get it fucking right unless you state that you portray her as [spraytan headcanon] which is still fucking cheap let’s be real. Orange Annabeth isn’t part of the kulture
Regardless of the reception of the PJO movies, I’ll never forgive you people for letting Logan Lerman aka the OG white boy™ flop. Throw Tom “lipless but okay booty“ Holland and Timothée ”I missed a few meals“ Chalamet the fuck away!
Tbh a less romanticized version of the camps would’ve been more interesting. I’m still put off by CJ (and also the fact that CHB is a summer camp), but had there been more fights and actual deaths that had happened around the camps due to training, etc. you would’ve understood immediately why demigods dipped before the age of 18. The antithetical nature of sweet summer camp and people dying left and right would’ve been amplified
Did Reyna at some point in time even have the time to breath with all of the shit that went down? Her life is simply 24/7 stressful. I get that she wanted to bounce and no longer be in a tiring and demanding position but the hunters ain’t it sis
It’s okay to admit that fanon artwork or fanfics don’t deserve the webspace they are wasting. But phrase that probably in a nicer way
PJO Calypso wasn’t annoying. HOO & TOA Calypso on the other hand...
Alex Pettyfer would’ve been a better Luke Castellan but Jake Abel did an okay job
Percy isn’t an idiot. You are one for believing so
Riordan corrected the stance that Muslims don’t shower during Ramadan (literally how in the fuck did he come up with that in the first place?!) in upcoming MC books. Can he use the same energy to rewrite HOO tho??
Luke’s portrayals in SoM and TTC were straight up trash
Historically accurate PJO would’ve been everything
Monsters can detect demigods by smell. Camo wouldn’t do jack shit ffs
Jason is still bland and making jokes/pointing that out is more than okay
Omfg accept the fact that characters can have multiple facets all good and bad. Reducing them to one specific trait makes them boring and bland. Also it stereotypes
Getting mad over the fact that Clarisse has a boyfriend is still fucking insane
Not everyone needs to be a fanfic writer or an artist, a theorist or someone that analyzes everything phrase by phrase. As long as you’re in the fandom to enjoy works & discussions and remain on the saner side of the spectrum you’re good. You’re valid. Don’t forget that.
Not wanting to stay in a fandom and merely enjoying some of the fruits/benefits as in art/fics/headcanons is also super valid
PJO Reddit, Tumblr, IG and Twitter are a cesspool of chaotic mess and straight up trash but Tumblr > Reddit >>>>>> IG >>>>>> Twitter
Tbh: just try to enjoy a decent book series. It’s all not that deep

Survey #424
“got no superspeed, but i’m running this town”
What is the first line in the song you are currently listening to/last listened to? "I’m running out of time; I hope that I can save you somehow.” Are you an easy lay? Not in the slightest. What was the last reason you cried? Life and how inexplicably I'm failing at it. What’s hurting you right now? More like what isn't. Do you remember important dates? Only some. I'm awful with numbers. Do you own anything with the Playboy Bunny on it? No. Do you own a bean bag chair? No. Have you ever played Gamecube? At a friend's house. Have you ever played with toy cars before? Yeah, with my nephew. He LOVES monster trucks. Have you ever touched a caterpillar? Oh, definitely. I loved picking them up as a kid. What is your favorite kind of salad? Just plain 'ole iceberg lettuce with ranch, really. Are you any good at Ping-Pong? Holy hell no, I SUCK. What was/is your high school mascot? A firebird. Can you make cute little animals by folding paper? God no, I'm awful at origami. Like, I have zero concept of how to do it. What kind of music do you like? Various types of metal and rock. Do you like apple juice? Yeah. Do you like to draw? It's funny, like I do love it, but I barely ever do it because I get frustrated when I can't get what's in my head onto paper. What do you put on your french fries? Generally ketchup. How many people can comfortably sleep in your bed? Two. Do you want to have a big family in the future? I don't want kids, just pets. Probably a lot of pets. Is Vegas one of your must-see places? No. Pet rat: yay or nay? I've had multiple pet rats and I adore them. I've come to find I'm not the best at keeping rodents because changing the bedding so much sucks ass, but nevertheless they are fantastic pets for people who don't mind the maintenance. Would you call yourself a writer? Written any stories lately? Yes. I haven't written in a while, though. I just have absolutely zero motivation to RP. Are you good at reading people's body language? I probably overanalyze it, really. Ever threatened somebody and actually went through with it? I don’t threaten people. Does holding newborn babies scare you? Extremely. I feel like they're made of thin glass. Piercings: yay or nay? I LOVE piercings. They add an interesting touch to your appearance and to me just (usually) look super cool. There are very few piercings I don't like. Do you have a collage of pictures in your bedroom? No, but I want to make a motivation board very badly. Favorite Nicholas Cage movie? Ghost Rider. Were video games better in the 1980s, 1990s, or the 2000s? Why? '80s games bore me honestly, but I love some '90s and many 2000s games. I've got to say ultimately newer games win, because of graphics increasing immersion (no, I do not whatsoever believe graphics are everything or always make a better experience), voice acting improving immensely, etc. Have you ever watched The Beverly Hillbillies? Yes! Mom loves it so I used to watch it a lot with her as a kid. I'd still watch it. Did your mother ever sing lullabies to you when you were younger? Yes. Are you ready to get out of this town? I HATE THIS TOOOWN, IT'S SO WASHED UUU-UP, AND ALL MY FRIENDS DON'T GIVE A FUUU-UUUUUCK god hell yes get me the fuck out. Do you know anybody that is pregnant right now? Quite a few. What are you listening to? "Superluv” by Shane Dawson. Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket? No. Does your father have any facial hair? Yes. Did your grandparents teach you anything? My maternal grandmother, the only one I really ever knew, taught me I'm a disappointment, pretty much. And a bitch. Do you want/have a Bachelor’s degree? It'd be nice to have one, but I don't, and I'm not pursuing it again. I've wasted enough of my parents' money. Are you into superheroes? Who’s your favourite? Not seriously, but I enjoy them well enough. I like Spider-Man. What did you have for dinner last night? Mom ordered Mexican. I had two shrimp and cheese quesadillas and rice with cheese. Do you think you look similar to your siblings? No. Have you ever played Cards Against Humanity? Did you like it? Yeah, it's fun. Do you know your best friend’s middle name? Yes. Are you close to your father? I am. Have you ever had a serious conversation with your dad? Yeah. Would you rather have long or short hair? I enjoy having short hair way more. Who did you go/plan on going with to prom? I went with Jason twice. Have you ever been to a debate and speech tournament? Hell no, and I never would. Arguing makes me cry lmao. Are you someone who enjoys stand-up comedy? Yep. What’s one thing that scares you about living alone and being independent? A lot of things do, but one thing in specific that I fear is that I let the house become cluttered and messy. I'm so shit at cleaning, especially when I'm depressed. It's why my own bedroom isn't even fully decorated, and we've lived here since I wanna say last November. If someone offered you an all-expenses paid trip to one European country, where would you go and why? Germany, 'cuz I enjoy the culture and would love to try some foods and visit places. Have you ever won anything on the lottery? No. Are you interested in the World Cup? I couldn't possibly care less. What’s the longest time you’ve ever been on a plane for? Idk. Do you let your hair dry naturally or do you towel-dry it or blow dry it? I use a towel to dry it some, then let it really get the job done naturally. How many of the Harry Potter books have you read? None. Who last gave you their number? When I posted on Facebook about going on a mental health hiatus, my good friend Alon messaged me her number if I ever needed to talk. I was really thankful. Are you often the last one to understand a joke? Honestly yeah. I'm slow to grasp a lot of things. Your first black eye: Did you give it or get it? Never gotten or given one. Have you ever slept in a tent, indoors or out? Yes to both. Are you mad right now? I'm annoyed, but not mad. Are you allergic to nuts or dairy products? No. Has anyone ever called the cops on you? No. Do you ever actually drink milk alone? Yeah, I love milk. Do you have a sensitive gag reflex? It is EXTREMELY sensitive. What was the last situation to upset you? I'd rather not talk about it. Have you ever had an online argument? I have been heavily active on the Internet since I was like, 11. Maybe younger. I have been in plenty. Are you at risk for any medical issues? A lot of heart problems run in my family. I'm also suspicious I may develop diabetes, which also runs very heavily in my family. What were you doing at 7:00 a.m.? Surprisingly, I was asleep. Do you own a robe? No. What would you consider your life to be? A wreck. What is your favorite mark of punctuation? I like question marks. Who knows your biggest secret? Nobody. Do you think anyone has feelings for you? Probably not. How do you know? I just doubt it. I'm so unlikable right now. Could you go a day without eating? I don't think I could. I do not react to stomach pain well, and that includes when I'm hungry. How many bracelets do you have on your wrists right now? None. What’s your favorite drink? Strawberry Sunkist, but I don't allow myself to have it. I will DESTROY a can or five of it. Who was the last person that texted you? My mom. What are you craving? Nothing really right now. What was the first thing you ate today? An everything bagel. What was the last type of meat you ate? Pork. Have you taken any medication today? Yeah, I take some prescription meds in the morning and at night. Have you ever been to Hawaii? No, but that'd be cool. Do you know anyone who has diabetes? My mom, for one. Have you ever made a boy cry? Sadly. Who are you talking to? Nobody. Do you think you’ve ruined your chances with someone? Absolutely. Your parents split; would you want to live with your mom or dad? My parents are divorced, and I stayed with Mom. Would you strongly prefer to go out with someone of your own skin color/racial background? I couldn't care less. For you personally, is abortion an option in case of an accidental pregnancy? For others, absolutely. It's your right. For me myself, it's possible, idk. If I was God forbid raped, I probably would have an abortion. If I accidentally got pregnant in a healthy relationship, I'd probably have a "too bad, so sad" outlook where I'd suck it up and go through with the gestation because having sex and risking pregnancy was my own decision. Even if I'm pro-choice, I think I'd feel too guilty aborting, especially with the child being someone's I love. Is it a requirement that you communicate every day with your significant other (via phone, text, in person, whatever)? IF I had an s/o, no. I like to, but sometimes you just want space. Are you fetish-friendly? I'm not gonna lie, some fetishes are just too fucking weird for me. I TRY not to judge, because I doubt you can actually help fetishes, but I inevitably do sometimes. If you're asking would I engage in fetishes because my s/o liked them, possibly, but it would really depend on what it is. Have you ever cosplayed? No. I think cosplay is really cool, though. Do you support the exploration of outer space? If yes, would you consider taking a trip into space, or even to another planet? As creatures who crave knowledge and understanding of our universe, I do support space exploration, but I do NOT believe we should be spending as much money as we do on it. Taking care of the planet we're actually on is far more important imo. I wouldn't personally go to outer space. Is it okay for men to wear makeup? What’s your opinion of male crossdressers? It's totally okay! Guys with makeup can be super attractive. Crossdressers, too. Go for it. You’re in a new relationship and your partner admits that they have had 14 sexual partners. Does that sound like a lot to you? For me personally, yes. I don't even know if I'd date someone with 14 past sexual partners, honestly. I would admittedly question their loyalty. Would you let your children under 13 watch movies with full nudity? No. If someone asked you, “What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done?” would you know the answer right away? I would. What is your opinion concerning strip clubs? Not my scene at all, but so long as you respect the dancers, whatever. You do you.

I Will be Your Tim Drake for Tonight (3) (Jason Todd/ Reader)
Summary:  Preferring to do anything but your physics project, you decide to accepts Tim’s proposal. It’s simple. He does your project, you try to figure out whether Jason Sionis is criminal. Easy, right?
masterlist
A/n: This takes place in a world where Jason is adopted by Black Mask. Inspired by Building Interest by Zoeleo. The events and characterization in this story are very heavily based on Zoeleo's Long Term Investment series. It is fantastic and I really highly recommend all of her fics.
a/n: For clarification, Reader does have psychic powers but it only lets her sense people's emotions physically. No mind-reading. Her power is more like an overactive sense of empathy which may force her to dissociate into someone else.
There will be violence and mentions of alcoholism (used as coping mechanism for physical pain) and chronic pain.
As for the additional warning, an animal is harmed but it is barely described. I could not bring myself to actual describe it but the aftermath is described.
I also just converted this from an OC so I apologize for any grammatical mistakes.
Without further a do:
Your stomach drops.
Fuck.
Of course, Damian just had to be the one to pick up.
"Hey baby bro, could you pass the phone to dad?"
"I'm sorry who is this?"
This little shit.
"You're such a kidder! Dami, it's me, Tim. "
“Ah yes, Drake-” You can hear Tim choke in the background. “What do you want?”
“Please Dami just pass the phone to dad, I- I really need to talk to him”
“Very well,”
“Tim?” The voice sounded like Bruce’s but the intonation was all wrong. The voice changer Tim and Babs were working on seems to have made progress.
“Hey dad, I- uh. I might have gotten kidnapped.”
Tim makes another choking noise. “Might have?”
“I was at the party. I think I had around 13 drinks. 13 ! Can you believe it? I felt like a right sailor after that, like the harbor workers, y’know? Anyway, I was taking a smoke-”
“Enough!” The large man roared, snatching the phone from you. “Send us $100 million by tomorrow or your kid’ll be shark bait!” Who says that anymore?
“Of course! Of course! I’ll have the money sometime this evening. Please don’t hurt him.”
Tim, God bless him, does not laugh. Tim’s acting needs some work but he sure does know how to act worried.
The line dies and they tie you back up to the post.
“What the hell?!”
“We have to make sure you don’t just runoff.” The large man says tightening your bonds. Truthfully, you’ve felt far worse. After all, corsets exist. However, this was still a close second.
“Do I look like I could outrun a snail?”
“He’s got a point boss. He looks like he hasn’t even seen the sun in ages.”
This, you decide, is true for Tim. When was the last time he went out before dark? Maybe he got sunlight when he stayed over at Eddie’s place.
The large man grabs Jason by the collar and throws him to his men.
The 3 men kick and curse at him. They mock him and beat him down. They wail on him with their fists, their steel-toed shoes, and sometimes brick. Jason takes it all with a crooked grin and a sharp tongue. You watched in awe. Even on the floor, Jason looked sturdy, ferocious, and indomitable.
"They all break, sweet girl."
Jason is on a tiled floor. No, he should be on concrete. His blood is on the tile. They’re hitting him. They’re hitting him with a bat. No. They aren’t supposed to be holding a bat. They were kicking him but now they’re holding a bat. No, She’s holding a bat. There's supposed to be three of them, three men,  but their forms coalesce into her .  You can hear his ribs cracking. Next are his legs. His legs are always next. Then his arm. She'll break each bone in his arms and his hands.  He’s wheezing. His voice sounds hoarse. His voice is too hoarse. He sounds like he’s been starved and dehydrated for at least a day. They’ve only been here for an hour. That isn’t right. Oh God! Now she had a cleaver in her hands.
No!
No!
He doesn’t need to die. She can’t.
no.
No.
No!
The scene crescendos as the tall, dark, sinewy silhouette towering over Jason raises the butcher's knife above her head.
“Harder, daddy!”
“Son?”
The scene of the kitchen fades and the shit-eating grin on Jason melts into view which shifts from amusement to confusion then back to amusement.
You blink seeing his stupid grin far too clearly.
You let a bark of gut-busting laughter out as you strain against the rope. Your brow pinches with concern but based on the scowls you’re receiving they're more focused on the fact that you were laughing like a mad man.
Jason looks like he’s about to laugh from the absurdity as well when the man in charge picks him up again tossing him into a chair. The other men tie him down binding his wrists and ankles.
"I've had worse." He spits out.
The phone rings again, the dial tone echoing. Jason looks like hell with his face swollen and bruises beginning to bloom on every surface but he still looked like he was 5 seconds from starting a fight.
The large man punches Jason hard in the gut knocking the air out of his lungs as the dial tone cuts off.  “Hear that, Sionis? Your little bitch is pretty soft.”
Oh God, are they serious?
“Who is this? Nevermind. You ok there, sweetheart?” Roman Sionis’ ‘concerned’ voice carries over the line.
They are.
“Nothing I can't handle, daddy.” Jason chuckles with the utmost casualness. You, on the other hand,  instantly want to disinfect your brain. Thankfully, before your mind could wander somewhere it can't return from,  the big man growls into the phone.
“Don't you recognize the voice of the man whose life you've ruined?!”
“You've gotta be more specific than that. I've ruined quite a few lives but I would like to know whose brain I need to put a bullet in.”
“IT'S ME  BRUNO HARDIN!”
“Doesn't ring any bells.” Roman deadpans almost sounding completely disinterested. “Sweetheart, you remember anyone like that?”
“Nope,” Jason replies letting the p pop. It seemed like a strange sort of triumph before it all crashes down with another swift punch to the ribs.
You stare at the strange scene torn between amusement and horror.
“Take this seriously!” Bruno roars.
"I'm taking this about as seriously as it deserves."
A part of you thought 'yeah this is ridiculous enough to warrant nonchalance' while the other part wanted to scream.  On one hand, even you found his identity anticlimactic. Doesn’t he know just how many small-time businesses Roman has ruined? He’d be lucky to get into the top 50. It’s not like he was running a pretty ethical establishment either.  On the other hand, your freaking kid is getting the shit kicked out of him. Emote damn it.
“Jason. Don’t you worry. Daddy’s going to take care of this. Your Uncle D happens to be in town. He’s on his way to pick you up. Love you, baby. See you soon.”
The line dies. Your stomach sinks further somehow. You don’t know if the nausea is due to the fact that the line died, the threat, or the number of times the word ‘daddy’ came up. Who the hell is Uncle D? How is he supposed to help? Your gaze trails to Jason who is now lowering his head to the floor seemingly tired. Maybe that last punch finally drained the fight from him.
“You're all so fucked.” Jason barks out in a fit of laughter. The men around him, jumping from the volume of his voice.
Bruno grabs Jason by the collar and begins to shake him as if the  “Shut the fuck up you little bitch! Whoever your Uncle D is he's-”
“Deathstroke”
You feel like someone kicked you in the chest. First of all, Uncle D? Really? You guess that there are worse hills to die on. This was somehow weirder than hearing Faust and her siblings call him pops. Second of all, Fuck. You'd never gotten your asshanded to you by Deathstroke but based on how banged up the Titans looked after fighting him this wasn't gonna be pretty.  All you could hope for was that you wouldn't get caught in the crossfire. Although, the image of Deathstroke grudgingly letting a kid call him Uncle D lightens your mood a bit.
Bruno throws Jason on the floor hard enough for his body to bounce. Like Jason earlier, Bruno is radiating murder.
Just run, you thick motherfucker.
You, being the ‘nice’ Wayne kid that you are,  try to tell him as much but sadly that was halted by shattering glass. A flurry of black, orange, and metal crash through the glass and cut through the crowd of men.
They fire at him, panic making their faces even paler. They hit him, bullets sinking into his flesh, blood splatters but none of it fazes him. He skewers and cuts them down with ease. His swords and suit are liberally decorated with their blood when it’s all done.
He steps over Bruno’s body. From the grunt that comes out, Bruno is still alive. Dumb bastard doesn’t know how to play dead. He’ll die from blood loss anyway.
“Hey, kid-” Deathstroke greets tersely,  picking up Jason’s nearly limp body.  “We’re gonna get you home.” He slings Jason’s arm over his shoulder.
“Wait!”
Deathstroke stops sounding slightly annoyed.
Jason turns to you, who’s still unhappily tied to a post.  “We gotta get him out.” He rasps.
“Kid, you’re the only one I’m getting paid to rescue.”  Deathstroke helpfully informs as he carefully adjusts his hold on the struggling young man. You blow out a breath somehow more irritable than scared.  “Just cut me out. I can make my way back just fine.”
“Walk in Gotham, are you stupid?” Jason hisses. The concern bleeding through.
“Which one of us charged at their captors while they were armed?”
Jason scowls at you with a petulant twist in his lips. “Yanno what,  Leave ‘im.”
“Ok, ok, I’m sorry and yeah I’ll be fine. I know where to avoid. Just please don’t leave me with them” you plead, throwing away any pride you held as you glance at the most likely dead bodies. Deathstroke cuts you out. Your skin feels raw but you’re otherwise unharmed.
You walk out of the warehouse and Dick practically throws himself at you. “Oh thank god, they didn’t shoot you in the head.” He mumbles into your wig.
"Why would you think they would shoot me in the head?"
Dick pulls back and frowns at you through the domino mask.  “You aren’t exactly the most pleasant-”
“ We were model hostages.” you squawk.
Jason snorts far too loudly to be helpful.
You glare at him but you weren’t about to say fuck off to him while he has one of the world’s deadliest assassins right next to him.
Deathstroke coughs.  “Well if you don’t mind we’ll be taking our leave.”
Dick holding you protectively, glares but says nothing. Maybe he does but you faint before you can hear it.

Title: In the dark blue sky you keep Summary: Martha Wayne, the Bat of Gotham, wakes up in a world where here son never died. The difference is startling. AN: Based on an anon prompt in which Flashpoint Thomas and a Batman!Martha meet my happy imaginary canon verse.
Her son had green eyes.
Her son was dead.
Reflexively, Martha grabbed the imposter, clone, hallucination,Fear Toxin. Had someone finally figured out her identity? Was it Crane? No, he wasn’t smart enough on his own, maybe Two-Face had helped or Black Mask. He had been pretty annoyed she and that upstart with Joker’s old moniker had been decimating his empire-
“Grandmother! You’re hurting me!”
Bruce was struggling against her grip, cursing in Arabic under his breath, and Martha finally remembered. Shocked, she let go of Damian, who was quick to take a few steps back.
“Damian. I- I apologize.”
The teenager just sighed, feigning calmness, while still staring at her hand. He looked a lot like Talia wearing that expression. In her homeworld – dimension traveling was a concept Martha still wasn’t comfortable with – Talia had been a girl just as stubborn and proud as Damian. After her death, Martha had often wondered who she could have become, hadn’t the world wanted to get back at Ra’s al Ghul. It was strange to see a world where she had a son.
Where Martha’s son was a father himself.
“It’s fine,” Damian said. “I’ll tell the others to wake you with a broom or a ruler like we do with Baba. And breakfast is ready. Alfred said you can eat upstairs if you want to.”
She had eaten breakfast with everybody else for the past five days, even if it had been uncomfortable to sit next to Thomas again. This other world’s version of him was rough, broken. He didn’t resemble the sweet man Martha recalled. But she supposed she wasn’t much like his wife either. That Martha Wayne had fallen into despair and madness, thriving in the blood splatters of the Joker.
She hadn’t locked down her emotions like a Kane, taken off her wedding ring and traded it for a knife to become someone, something different.
This Bruce probably recognized neither of his parents in these killers wearing their faces.
“Do you have guests today?”
Damian shook his head. “No, just a full house. Everybody’s home again for the first time in weeks, so we’re all eating together. It’s become somewhat of a tradition. Baba wasn’t sure whether you or Grandfather would be up for that.”
Martha was the Bat.
Her life had never been a question of if she wanted to do something. She had to.
“Of course, I’m coming. I’d like to meet the rest of your siblings.”
“I’ll tell Alfred.”
Damian rushed out of her room – a guest room outside of the family wing of the manor – on silent feed. None of the people in Bruce’s family made a sound unless they wanted to. Martha hadn’t been able to stop herself from imagining what assets they must be on the battlefield.
Martha had never taken on a side-kick, or a hero in training, as the Justice League liked to call their junior members. Not that Martha was much of a hero or a vigilante with her poisons, syringes, knives and the League of Assassins on speed dial. She had worked together with the Justice League a few times when the whole world had been threatened by outside forces, but their methods didn’t agree with each other. She thought children were too young for Gotham, any city at all, and they hadn’t approved of the blood trail she left behind.
Martha got dressed. Alfred had rushed to a store after the first day so she could wear clothes that didn’t belong to her grandson’s ex-girlfriend. He had returned with a full batch of outfits, all similar in cut and style to what she used to wear.
Martha hadn’t had the heart to tell him she hadn’t worn a skirt in two decades.
After making sure she was presentable, she left to go to the dining room. Martha had gathered that they usually ate in the kitchen when only four members of the family were in the manor, but since her and Thomas’s arrival, they’d taken to eating in the dining room. With so many people attending – she’d heard a few names being dropped over the past days – they needed the space.
On her way across the manor, she encountered Thomas. He was finally clean-shaven and, wearing Bruce’s shirts, he appeared much younger than he had when they had first arrived.
They both mustered each other, but none of them really knew what to say.
“My room has a mural,” Thomas spoke up. “It’s a mix of spray painting and acrylics.”
Martha had seen a couple rooms decorated like that.
“I think that’s Damian and Duke’s work.”
“The meta?”
Her Thomas used to love giving speeches. He could talk for hours about what fascinated him without taking a break. When Bruce had been- He used to give Bruce biology lectures to fall asleep to.
This Thomas was talkative if he said more than ten words.
“Damian mentioned boding with Duke over art,” Martha continued. “Bruce allowed them free reign of the guest wing as long as they don’t make Alfred disapprove.”
“The manor’s messy enough by his standards already.”
Martha wouldn’t necessarily call the manor messy. It was just more lived-in than what the two of them were used to. There was a distinct lack of breakable vases, and many paintings had been taken down to be replaced by family portraits or paintings done by Damian.
The rugs on the ground weren’t as bright and clean as they used to, but Bruce had said that multiple of his children were friends with speedsters. She’d also found rations of non-perishable food hidden in different corners, an immeasurable amount of cats, a skateboard, toys, instruments, posters, stickers and everything else that belonged in a good home with happy children.
The closer the two got to the dining room, the louder did the voices become.
“And I’m standing there, baby vomit all over my uniform, still holding the kiddo and go ‘Sir, you just violated 34 laws and-‘”
“Timothy, I saw your schematic for a hoverboard, and I was wondering if you would-“
“-too much to ask for one mixed productions where a guy plays a female lead? If you don’t have enough men to cover all male roles, just mix it up completely, why can’t they-“
“Don’t even think of stealing my chocolate, I dare you.”
“-and the kid won’t stop crying. The guy is crying too. And I still had a date to go to.”
“I have multiple degrees and I’m ‘not qualified enough’. Just say you don’t want to hire a woman in a wheelchair and be done, but don’t waste my time.”
“-I’m a broke bitch these student loans can’t kill me-“
“You’re literally putting caviar on your eggs right now, Steph. I know Bruce gave you a credit card, what student loans-“
“Anyway, so I’m running an illegal betting pool at school-“
“Lively, aren’t they?”
Bruce was smiling, looking at his kids discussing heatedly at the table behind Thomas and Martha. Helena, who had been resting in his arms, was now wide awake and squirming. Bruce sat the toddler down and she rushed over to the rest of her siblings.
“The one picking Helena up is Jason, my second son and third eldest. You already met Duke and Damian and heard Tim when he checked the portals you arrived through for abnormalities. He’s the one falling asleep over his cereals. Steph is the blonde one talking to him, gesturing at her food. She was the one to lend you her clothes. The girl beside her is Cassandra, my first daughter and actually second eldest. You know Kate and Bette, I assume? Dick’s my oldest, and he’s the one reenacting the chokehold with the banana. The one who kept the water bottle from falling over next to him is Barbara.”
That had surprised Martha.
“The Commissioner’s daughter?”
Bruce nodded. “Yes. Jim pretends he doesn’t know and we give him space for plausible deniability. It makes holidays very interesting.”
The children kept talking, exchanging stories and snacks, and the tiny toddler in-between them. There was a warmth to their interaction Martha hadn’t felt in years.
“They are strong,” Thomas said.
“They are beautiful,” Martha added, though the term was a poor substitute for what she actually wanted to say.
They’re alive.
She hoped Bruce wouldn’t catch on, but his eyes were already narrowing in concern.
It was easy to forget she wasn’t the only Bat in Gotham anymore.

Where There’s Smoke
Fandom: SEAL Team
Characters: Sonny Quinn, Clay Spenser, Jason Hayes, Ray Perry, Trent Sawyer, Brock Reynolds, Cerberus, Vic Lopez
                                          XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
“God damn it you scared the mother fucking life out of us,” Trent said, loosening Sonny’s vest as he coughed and gasped for air. Trent was by nature on the quieter side, so anytime he started swearing this much it meant they had genuinely scared him. Apparently almost losing four members of his team was enough to send him over the edge. “Of all the shitty fucking stupid…”
Sonny ignored his buddy’s rant and took in the other members of his team. Ray was talking to Vic who seemed out of it, probably because he’d taken the worst of the smoke down by that hole. And Clay was still pulling Brock through their makeshift escape hatch. Trent was right, this had been a shitty fucking stupid way to nearly go out. “Wash your eyes out,” Trent ordered, shoving a water bottle into his face.
“We ain’t got time—“
“Do it now or I’ll fucking do it for you,” he growled, popping the cap off threateningly.
“Cerb,” Brock was gasping. His face was covered in soot, his eyes wide with panic. “Is he—“
“He’s fine,” Jason said, pouring some water over the dog’s head so he could check for injury. “Better than the rest of you. They mobile?”
“Yeah sooner we get ‘em back the better. They all need oxygen,” Trent said from where he was working to wake up a groggy Vic.
“Let’s move,” Jason ordered.
Clay grabbed Sonny’s arm but Sonny shook him off. “I’m fine,” he rasped and then hacked out a cough that had him doubling over.
“Take a breather,” Clay said.
Sonny shook his head. “We gotta get back,” he wheezed.
Lisa was in trouble. Big trouble. The biggest kind of trouble she’d probably ever been in and none of them were there to help her. If they didn’t get back in time…he couldn’t even think about what losing her would mean for the team. And for him.
“Yeah but if you leave your lungs here it’s not going to help anything,” Clay told him. “I got ya. Come on.” He got under Sonny’s shoulder and helped him to his feet.
“Hold up!” Trent said sharply. He put his head to Vic’s chest. “He’s not breathing.”
Shit. Fucking shit. Sonny could only watch, frozen in fear as Trent began to pump Vic’s chest up and down. They’d killed their rookie on the first run out. It couldn’t end this way. Not here. Not for such a fucking stupid reason.
“Trent?” Jason asked after a long minute.
Trent paused, checking for a pulse and breath sounds. He nodded. “He’s back. Let’s get out of here. If it happens again I’m gonna have to intubate and I’d rather do that onboard than out in the open.”
It was a slog back to the plane. Cerb was whining and making raspy bark sounds, turning Brock into a basket case. Sonny’s chest felt like an elephant had taken up residence, but he wasn’t going to admit that to anybody. By the time they reached the plane he’d really started to feel the effects of nearly becoming burnt toast. His head throbbed and his eyes felt raw and weepy.
Trent and Ray lowered Vic to the ground while Brock collapsed beside him, Cerb nosing his way into his handler’s lap with a sad whine. Clay tried to shove Sonny in their direction but he dug his heels in. “I’m fine.”
“Go sit your ass down over there,” Clay said. “Go!” he said again when Sonny didn’t move. “Trent’s just gonna come after you anyway once he’s done with Brock and Vic.”
Sonny reluctantly took a seat. Trent strapped oxygen onto Vic and began taking his vital signs while Brock collapsed onto a crate and rested his head against the side of the transport, his fingers running repeatedly over Cerb’s back.
“Tell the pilot we’re ready for take-off,” Jason said to Ray. “And put a rush on it.”
It still might not be enough. If they hadn’t gotten trapped. If they’d all just moved a little faster.
Brock started coughing violently, hunching over in his seat. “Hey, hey breathe buddy,” Sonny said, surprised when his voice came out sounding like a bucket of rusty nails. Maybe he wasn’t as all right as he’d thought.
Trent looked up and immediately grabbed two more oxygen masks. “Put this on.” He threw one at Sonny while he strapped the other one to Brock’s face. “You got tightness in your chest?” he asked.
Brock nodded wearily. “Take deep breaths all right? Tell me if it gets worse,” Trent said.
“Is Vic all right?” Sonny asked.
“Put that the fuck on right now,” Trent ordered, reaching over to shove the oxygen mask onto Sonny’s face. “You can take it off when I fucking say you can.”
Still swearing. Still mad. Good to know.
Vic let out a moan and began to stir. “Hey, no, don’t do that,” Trent said grabbing Vic’s hand to keep him from dislodging the oxygen.
Vic fought back, pushing against Bravo Four, his eyes swinging wildly around the plane in obvious confusion. Sonny pulled off his own mask despite Trent’s warning and grabbed Vic’s other arm. “Hey, hey! You’re all right! Calm down. We got you,” he said.
Vic’s eyes found his and Sonny watched some of the panic disappear. “You good?” Trent asked.
He nodded and they both let go. “Deep breaths,” Trent ordered. “Can you sit up?”
Another nod so Trent and Sonny got him up, bracing him against the wall. Trent pulled out a pen light and began to check his eyes. “Don’t see anything in there, but they’re pretty irritated. I’ll get you some saline to wash ‘em out,” he said. “You breathing okay now? It’s not too difficult?”
Vic nodded. “Good man.” Trent squeezed his shoulder and went to get the saline solution.
Clay appeared with a couple wet towels. “Try and get off as much soot off as you can. That stuff is full of carcinogens.”
Leave it to the boy scout to know something like that. Sonny checked his watch and felt his stomach lurch. They weren’t going to make it.
There was a new tightness in his chest now that had nothing to do with smoke or fire. They had to stop this. They had to save her.
“We’ll get there,” Clay said quietly.
“I know,” Sonny said, even though he didn’t believe it.
It was unsettling how much the whole thing was affecting him. When they’d been trapped, when smoke had filled that room, all he could think about was how much regretted the whole thing. How he hated the way he’d pushed her out. How he had been too wrapped up in his own damn hurt and anger to see that she was drowning. And instead of offering her a lifeline like family should, he’d pushed her away.
He was an asshole.
He tried to swallow past the lump in his throat, but choked instead, chest squeezing so tightly he thought his spine might snap. “Sonny, you all right?” Clay asked.
He shook his head, unable to stop the barking, choking hack coming from his lungs. “Trent!” Clay yelled. “Lie down. Son of a bitch Sonny lie down!”
He shoved Sonny onto his back, pressing the oxygen back over his face. His vision became fuzzy at the edges as Trent appeared. He felt like he was back underwater again, his lungs filling up, killing him from the inside out.
There was a sharp pain in his thigh and then everything went grey for a long while.
When he came to he was still on the floor, his head in Trent’s lap. “If you fucking move I will kill you,” Trent growled, his hands firmly clamped onto Sonny’s shoulders.
Moving didn’t really feel like it was on the menu so he didn’t even try. His lungs seemed to kind of be working again, but his limbs were heavy and his eyes begged to close again. He forced them open, forced his brain to work. If they were going to save Davis they needed everybody.
From his semi-upright position he could see Brock completely zonked out on Cerb’s side. Vic looked pale, his eyes red rimmed, but he was upright, drinking some water, a protein bar on the seat beside him.
“How is he?” Jason approached, his face newly stitched up.
“Better now that he’s not being a fucking idiot,” Trent said. “They all need to get checked out back at the base.”
Sonny felt a flare of panic and struggled against Trent’s grasp. “But Davis—“
Trent gripped his shoulders tighter. “I’m fucking fine!” Sonny protested.
“You almost went into respiratory arrest!”
Jason held up a hand. “We’ll take care of things with Davis. Then you get checked out. All three of you.” He turned so Vic could see him. The kid nodded tiredly. Jason pointed a finger at Sonny. “No excuses. You see a real doctor. Not one who’s using her stripper money to pay her way through medical school.”
“Scout’s honor,” Sonny rasped.
He’d do anything if it meant getting Lisa out of trouble. He owed her that much.

Seabourne Burnouts: Chapter 15 - Aground
Thank you @kimihonna for beta reading and @dickisabanana for beta reading and helping with the title name.
Start [Here] [Part 14] [Part 16]  -OR- [AO3]
Damian tried to dodge Dick’s most recent attempt at communication, but considering he was blocking the only exit from his room Damian was stuck. Damian’s neutral expression was becoming more and more unnerving and Dick wished he’d say more than just a few sentences a day. “Damian, come on. You should come with us. We’ll be leaving soon.” Damian just stared him down before grabbing his arm and flipping him onto the bed across the room. A small “oof” was heard in the quiet room and Dick groaned, “Come on! Work with me here!”
Damian just shook his head and started walking out the door. Dick scrambled to catch up to him, “You’re already dressed and ready. Let’s get off the ship! Walk around, see the sights, let’s just live a little!” Damian continued to actively ignore his brother as he walked down the halls. It was a fight to get him cleaned up in the first place. The boy stuck himself in his room and did his best to avoid talking to anyone. He was reminded of Marinette after the initial attack on the ship, except Dick knew what would happen once that façade broke. Once Damian’s did, he wasn’t sure what would happen. Dick sighed, “You’re being difficult.”
Damian paused and Dick briefly wondered if he finally got through to him. That was immediately proven right when Damian glared and drew his arm back to punch the man. Dick quickly blocked the attack and prepared for another, but Damian continued walking. Dick felt a bit of relief, the punching is more familiar. It meant he was starting to get frustrated and if he loses his cool then he’ll finally open up. Dick knew how to handle Damian when he was angry, that was easy. However, the silence was killing him.
“You know we still have to see them off though.” Damian didn’t respond, instead choosing to change course and walking towards the deck. Dick wondered if they’d see Marinette and her friends, but then he had to wonder about Damian’s reaction to her. He hoped his brother’s reaction would give him some kind of insight on what happened. Tim said he would go and get some information so he wouldn’t have to, but that was yesterday and none of them have seen him since.
Damian blinked as he adjusted his eyes to different lighting. It was a clear day; the sun strong and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. Perfect for a good outing, but annoying to him. Laying eyes on Jason, he walked over and leaned against the railing. Damian scanned the class, all were excited to explore but all seemed tired. If he was honest, everyone seemed tired; the students, the staff, the other passengers, and his father included. He watched as Bruce walked around, greeted the team that boarded, and tried to push through the day. Damian always wondered how he hasn’t spotted any gray hairs yet.
Some loud giggling caught his attention and it was no surprise to see who it was. He figured the girls would do their best to gather and cheer Marinette up, that’s just what friends do. What he wasn’t expecting was the change in clothes. It was almost funny, she seemed embarrassed but her outfit wasn’t anything inappropriate. It was just a bit different. Her hair was up in a ponytail, her dark jeans complemented the white off the shoulder blouse she wore, and her tennis shoes gave a casual feel to the whole thing. He recognized the glasses that Jason gave her sitting on top of her head and thought if she was ever to wear them, she’d look like the most unintimidating police officer ever. Seeing her laugh as her friends pushed her forward despite her hesitance made him feel oddly relaxed.
Dick and Jason had their eyes glued on the boy as soon as they noticed Marinette coming into view. Damian’s stone-faced façade soon morphed into one of subtle surprise, then regret, then amusement, and finally rested on a soft smile. Dick and Jason just looked at Damian with pity. The way he looked at her, the fondness of his expression, meant that Damian was too far gone and they had their work cut out for them. It would’ve been cute if they weren’t avoiding each other. Right now, they were just happy to see any emotion at all.
Jason sighed as he turned his attention back to the group of girls. Chloe looked up and made eye contact for a brief second before bringing Marinette’s attention further away from their vantage point. He knew what she was doing and he wasn’t even mad. She didn’t want to ruin Marinette’s day. Still, he did miss their company. Marinette and her friends really made the trip bearable. Besides, he was actually attached to the girl and he missed their banter.
Jason turned back to his brothers, ready to suggest they start heading out with the groups, when a shrill shriek caught everyone off guard. He turned back around to see Marinette running off the ship and jumping into the arms of an older woman waiting for her harbor by a motorcycle.
It took Dick a moment to snap out of his confusion to finally ask, “Who’s that? Do we know who that is?”
Damian shook his head, “No.”
“Oh my god, you actually spoke.” Damian didn’t respond, but Dick was too proud of himself to care. “Yes! Jason, now we can – Jason?” The two were waiting for a similar reaction from their brother, but Jason has not moved since locking onto the sight of Marinette and the woman. “Jason? Hello? What? You like the bike or something?”
Suddenly, his eyes went wide and Dick could’ve sworn he saw a lightbulb go off in his head before Jason suddenly took off. Damian and Dick shared a confused look before following. Jason was running full speed towards this woman and Dick can’t remember him ever reacting like this to anyone. Either this was going to be really good or really bad, but both were mentally preparing themselves for either option. Dick caught Bruce’s eye and Bruce looked just as confused but too busy with his clients to chase after them.
As they got to the bridge connecting the ship to the harbor, Damian stopped and instead chose to stay and watch by the railings. If Marinette was avoiding him, it was probably a bad idea to just run-up to her. Besides, he had faith Dick could hold him back long enough for Damian to catch up if things went south.
He watched as Jason skidded to a stop a few feet away from the two. Both Jason and Dick were panting slightly and Dick was ready to spring into action at any second. Marinette seemed to be just as tense and surprised to see him run up to them. Yet, instead of trying to fight this woman, they just stared at each other before Jason finally broke the silence.
“Gina?”
The woman blinked before grinning, “Jason?”
Jason ran his fingers through his hair and started laughing, “Oh my god!”
Marinette looked between the two and pointed at Jason, “You know him?”
Gina laughed, “Know him? He wouldn’t leave me alone for a good two months!” She outstretched her arm and motioned for Jason to come over. Jason immediately engulfed Gina in a hug and Marinette just looked to Dick for answers. Dick simply shook his head and shrugged. Gina pulled away and looked him over, “You’ve gotten bigger! You look tired though.”
Jason chuckled, “It’s been a long time, Gina.”
“Excuse me! Wait!” The three turned to Marinette as she struggled to comprehend the situation, “Grandma, Jason, how on earth do you know each other?!”
Gina simply laughed moved in to pinch both of Jason’s cheeks, despite Jason’s best efforts to dodge her. Gina squeezed and cooed, “I met this young man on one of my trips! He beat up some muggers and then practically inhaled all the food I gave him as a thank you.”
Through clenched teeth, Jason protested, “I did not inhale!”
Jason managed to pull away to rub his cheeks and playfully glare at the older woman, but both couldn’t help but smile at each other. Gina examined him, walking around and taking in all the changes she could notice from the last decade and sighed. “What on earth have they been doing to you?”
Jason licked his lips and diverted his attention to Marinette for a moment, “A lot can happen in 10 years.”
Dick coughed loudly, bringing back the attention of the two old friends, and motioned to Gina. “And when did this happen?”
Jason looked between the two ladies before turning back to Dick, “Do you remember when I ran away?” It took him a second to understand what Jason meant, but Dick gulped and nodded. “Well, during that time I hit a bit of a rough spot. That’s when I met Gina and she took care of me for like two months.”
“He’s the grandson I always wanted. Likes motorcycles, brave, handsome, not the brightest but his heart is in the right place, no?”
Dick snorted and Jason rolled his eyes, “Thank you, Gina.”
Marinette pointed between the two, “Wait, he’s the-“ She cut herself off and ran her fingers through her hair, “Oh my god, Jason actually is my brother.”
Jason blinked and looked at Gina, “Wait, you’re actually her grandma?”
“I’ve told you about Marinette!”
“Yeah, but you never showed me any photos or anything!” He walked over and slung his arm over Marinette’s shoulders, “So, how does it feel?”
“How does what feel?”
“To be my little sister.”
“She is not your sister!”
Gina lightly smacked Dick’s chest, “Nonsense, I always considered Jason as family.”
“You heard the lady. Siblings, bitch.”
Marinette gasped, “Language!”
Jason was ready to retort when he caught Gina’s eye. She had a look that screamed “I dare you” and Jason dropped it. “Sorry.”
Dick pinched the bridge of his nose, “I can’t believe his stupid joke was right.” He looked at Marinette and apologized, “I’m so sorry.”
“Screw you, Dick.”
“Jason!”
“No, Grandma, that’s his name. Dick Grayson. That’s Jason’s brother.”
Gina looked Dick over then shrugged and made a so-so motion with her hand, “He seems fine.” Before Dick could say anything, Gina laughed and hugged the man, “I’m joking. Nice to meet you.”
It took a moment to reciprocate, but Dick gave the older woman a small squeeze. “Nice to meet you too. We love your granddaughter.”
“That’s not a surprise, but always good to hear.” Gina walked over and kissed the top of Marinette’s head, “Honestly, I’d be surprised if someone didn’t like her.” She laughed, but when the other three laughed half-heartedly she stopped. “Wait, where’s someone who doesn’t like you?”
Marinette flinched, “Well, I wouldn’t go that far-”
“Oh Gina, there’s this evil little girl in her class. The worst. Absolutely mental. I’ve been trying to convince her to let me throw her overboard since we met.”
“Jason! Grandma, I can handle it.”
Gina hummed and looked on deck. She recognized most of her classmates from her birthday party and from pictures, but there were a few that stood out. Two kids around Marinette’s age, a boy staring at them by the railings and a girl talking a group of some of Marinette’s friends, she realized she’s never seen before. “Is it that one?”
They looked over and Marinette groaned, “One, that’s a she-“
“I vote we use ‘it’ from now on.”
“- and two, yes.”
“Okay, so that’s her. Who’s the boy staring at us by the rails?” The brothers both tensed as they watched Marinette looked around, trying to figure out who her grandmother was referring to. There was a visible change in her body language as she became rigid and immediately looked away. Dick looked over to see Damian with his back turned to them, most likely because he was caught. Gina pointed at Damian and said, “I’m going to make a wild guess and say that’s the boy your mother’s been telling me about.”
Marinette’s face flushed, “Grandma!”
“Did you two fight?”
Marinette bit her lip as she looked between the two men standing beside her before hesitantly nodding. Gina hummed before taking her helmet off her bike and reeling her arm back. “Grandma, what are you-” Gina grunted as she threw the helmet full force towards the boy. All three watched in disbelief as the helmet flew through the air and right before impact, Damian put his hand up and caught it. Marinette let out a huge breath she didn’t realize she was holding in, “GRANDMA!”
“Good reflexes.”
“You cannot go throwing helmets at people like that!”
“Sure I can. I have your helmet here too. I can probably hit that girl Jason mentioned.”
“Grandma, no!”
“Grandma, yes!” Jason quickly shoved the other helmet into Gina’s arms and pulled Marinette back.
“Jason-”
Jason harshly shushed her, “This is karma. Let grandma do her thing.”
Marinette struggled in his grip, “She is not your grandma! Grandma, don’t you dare throw that helmet!”
Gina reeled her arm back and Dick quickly jumped in, “WOAH! Woah! Let’s calm down! None of us like Lila, but assaulting a child is not the answer.”
“But it is an answer. One I am happy to go with.”
“Jason, I swear if you don’t-”
“No, no, he’s right. We should probably leave her be. Besides, it’ll dent the helmet.”
Gina and Jason smiled at each other. While Dick didn’t know Gina, he knew Jason and that particular smile meant something was brewing inside his head. He could feel a migraine coming on as he watched the two laugh as if they made some kind of inside joke.
Marinette wiggled her way out of Jason’s grip and stomped her foot, “No fair! How come he got to go on one of your trips? You promised me one!”
“Yes, but your mother wanted me to wait until you were at least 16 to take you anywhere.” Marinette frowned and sighed, defeated. Jason snickered before Gina poked his chest, “Don’t laugh at her. It’s not like I brought you along with me. You just didn’t leave.”
“You loved me.”
Gina put a hand on her hip and nodded reluctantly, “Yes, yes, but you worried me. You still worry me.”
“You know, as your actual granddaughter, I’m feeling a little left out.”
Gina rolled her eyes and hugged Marinette, “I love you too.” Marinette smiled and let herself melt into her grandmother’s hold. “Now, what do you want to do today?”
“I’m sure it’ll be fun if I’m with you.”
A notification went off on Dick’s phone, but as soon as he checked it he turned and caught Gina’s incoming helmet. The two ladies jumped in surprise while Jason just looked confused. Dick looked up at the railings and Damian sent him a curt nod, “You could’ve just brought it down!” He noticed Damian look at someone behind him and give a small wave. Dick didn’t have to turn around to know who it was for.
“OKAY!” Marinette started pushing her grandmother towards the bike, “You got your helmet back, the day is young, I’ll drive! Jason you coming?”
“You want me to come?”
“Well, yeah. You guys need to catch up, no?”
“Marinette, he doesn’t even have a bike with him.”
Jason smirked, “Gina, I always have my bike with me.”
Dick groaned, “Please, no-” Jason pulled out a set of keys and pushed a button. They watched as the crowd started yelling and quickly jumped out of the way as a motorcycle made its way down to the harbor and next to Jason. Dick pinched the bridge of his nose as Jason pulled his helmet off the bike’s handle, “And when exactly were you planning on telling us you brought your bike?”
“Can’t tell you when if I was never going to.” Jason turned back to the girls, “Anyways, where are we going ladies?” He watched Gina walked around the bike, admiring it, before holding her hand out while her back was still turned to him. Jason frowned and handed over his keys and she tossed her own keys to Marinette. Jason rolled his eyes and put on his helmet. He realized he forgot how might lighter normal helmets were compared to the Red Hood mask.
He walked over and got onto Gina’s bike with Marinette getting on as well. He could tell she was still incredibly uncomfortable based on the stiffness of her body and how tightly she squeezed his waist. He sent a quick text to his brother and, when he realized Bruce was watching him from the deck, saluted as he drove off to follow Gina into the city streets. He could feel Marinette relax the further they got from the docks and it saddened him to know she was this uncomfortable around his family.
He heard her call to him, “Where do you think grandma is taking us?”
“Don’t know. Knowing Gina, probably somewhere that’ll make us feel nostalgic.”
She hummed, “So how did you actually meet my grandma, Jason?”
“I told you, I ran away and-“
“I can tell when you guys are hiding something. I bet grandma saw it too.” He pressed his lips into a straight line as he struggled to find the right words. Luckily he didn’t have to, “You don’t have to give me all the details and if you don’t want to talk about it it’s fine.”
He relaxed a bit and smiled, “Thanks, Marinette.”
She giggled and looked around the streets. It was a beautiful day and she had a feeling things were going to be peaceful today. “Mom and Dad are going to freak out when they find out you’re the long lost son of the Dupain-Cheng family. You’ll have a whole cake and party waiting for you if you ever come by the bakery.”
Jason laughed, “Well then, I’m just going to have to book the next ticket.”
She nodded and smiled when she realized where they stopped. It wasn’t like Andre’s back home, but a nice ice cream parlor and good shading made for a close second. Jason offered to pay for everything, but Gina refused and left the two to go get ice cream for the group. Marinette closed her eyes and reveled in the soft breeze that swept through. Jason cracked his neck and hummed, “I feel like this will be a calm day, for once.”
“Don’t jinx this for me, Jason.”
He knocked on the wooden bench beneath them. He stretched and looked around, “When was the last time you did something like this?”
“Like what?”
“Like this. Something normal.”
Marinette tried to think back and realized it’s been a few months since she’s gotten to sit down and be present with people she cared about. Sure, she had the sleepovers and dinners, but those usually were to cheer her up or required by their circumstances. This was meant to cheer her up too, but instead of being a party or a loud dinner it was just peaceful. She could actually think clearly and she felt like a weight was lifted. She smiled, “It’s been a while.”
“Same here.”
Gina came back with their sweet treats and the three began sharing different stories of adventures they’ve had together. Marinette never realized how different Jason’s life was until they started talking about their time together.
“You used to sneak out and I had to wait up for you.”
“You didn’t have to.”
“You came back with new bruises every night!”
“I couldn’t sleep!” Her expression deadpanned and he shrugged, “I already told you what I was doing.”
“Fighting crime is not a viable excuse for a 14-year-old.”
“Hey, I always came home didn’t I?”
Gina opened her mouth to retort but shook her head and shoveled some ice cream into his mouth, “Just eat.”
Jason chuckled and licked his lips, “Marinette, I drove your grandma crazy.”
She laughed, “Sounds like it. What happened though? Why did you only stay for two months?”
The two adults looked at each other and Gina offered, “Do you want me to tell her?”
“No. No. I can do it.” Jason thought for a moment before saying, “Your grandma offered to take me with her. She wanted me to live with her.”
“Why didn’t you?”
He looked at his empty bowl of ice cream and frowned, “Some things came up. Things from the past. I realized I still had a lot of unfinished business to take care of and I couldn’t let go of any of it. I couldn’t pull your grandma into that, so I just left.”
Gina pulled Jason’s hands away and held them, gently squeezing and rubbing her thumb over his knuckles. “You know, I always wondered what happened to you. I saw a lot of you in Marinette too. She’s just as hard-headed-”
“Hey!”
“- and just as passionate about the things and people she cares about.” Gina softly patted his cheek, “I’m so glad I got to see you again and I’m proud to see how you turned out.”
Marinette noted how he visibly tensed before he shook his head, “Nothing to really be proud of, Gina. I’m just glad I lived long enough to see you again. I never really forgot about you either. I mean, how often do you meet an old French grandma who rides motorcycles and travels the world?”
Both Gina and Marinette laughed at that comment. Marinette couldn’t help but be curious about what could’ve possibly taken Jason away from her grandma. She’s sure it has to do with Batman and Gotham, but she knew Red Hood didn’t exist 10 years ago either. She briefly wondered what could’ve been if he just stayed. Maybe he could’ve helped her with being Ladybug.
“Hey, Marinette?” She brought her attention back to the conversation and watched Jason as he tried to tread carefully into a new conversation. She didn’t have a good feeling about this, “Can I ask about Damian?”
Marinette didn’t know if it was the ice cream, the company, or the fact that she’s off the ship, but this was the first time she didn’t feel like avoiding this conversation. She remembered what Tess said about talking to someone else and she trusted her grandmother. After thinking about it, she trusted Jason too. “You’re going to tell Dick and Tim, aren’t you?”
“No!” Marinette quirked her brow and he just shrugged, “We’re brothers, what do you expect?”
She sighed but nodded. It was odd. She still felt uncomfortable, but the emotions were underwhelming compared to last night with Nino. She gulped, “Damian told me about a bad thing he did. I wasn’t expecting to hear that from him, so I was a bit shocked. The Akuma attack made me realize something though. He didn’t ask or choose to be a part of those bad things. He was raised and convinced to do it. It reminded me of Hawkmoth in a way since he makes good people do bad things too. I figured since he took himself out of that situation and he was being a good person maybe I could stay.”
She looked down at the table and frowned, “After this week, I realized I didn’t want to lose him either. We connect really well, we can read each other pretty well, and I trust him. He saw right through me whenever I lied to him. He knows something about me that only two other people knew and he just accepted it. I wanted to do that same for him. I wanted to stay with him.”
Gina tilted her head and analyzed Marinette’s expression, “You really like him. You never talked about Adrien like that.”
Marinette nodded, “Yeah. I do.” She scoffed and felt her eyes water, “With Adrien, I could barely hold a conversation and I was always on edge. With Damian, I don’t even have to try. It was so easy to just…” Her sentence trailed off and she bit her lip.
Jason motioned for her to continue and she sighed, “Grandma, I love him. I never felt like this around another person. I don’t know what else it could be.” Jason’s eyebrows shot up meanwhile Gina just smiled. Marinette wiped her eyes and laughed, “It’s scary how easy it was. I mean, I fell for Adrien pretty quick, but that hardly went anywhere. With Damian, I was just comfortable. I didn’t even think about until after we came back from our first visit to Santander.”
Gina hummed, “You know, you remind me so much of your father.”
Marinette quirked her brow, “Thank you?”
“No, no, I’m serious. Do you think your mother was the first girl your father cared about? No. He cared about a few girls, and he thought he loved them too, but it wasn’t until he met your mother that I ever really saw him connect with someone.” She pointed at Marinette, “He had that same look in his eyes too.”
Jason grinned, “You should’ve seen them that first week. They got into an argument then too, but they acted like an old married couple.” Marinette winced, “Sorry.”
Marinette waved her hand, “You’re fine. You’re right anyway.” She thought about that night in the den. She remembered how awkward he looked when he took the chance to say, “I thought we were already married.” She wished she could go back to that moment. Sure they were confused and they didn’t know everything about each other, but at least they had each other. That led her to the dance, which led her to the fight, which led her to Adrien. She brought one of her legs up and rested her chin on her knee, “I messed up.”
“How so?”
“You remember that secret I talked about? It involved Adrien, but Damian didn’t know that. He forced it out of me and I didn’t tell Adrien Damian knew so then Adrien got mad. Adrien started yelling, I started yelling, we all got into one big fight.” She groaned, “Now Adrien hates me and I can’t even look at Damian without wanting to freak out and now I’m a mess and now everything’s a disaster!” She knocked her forehead on her knee, “I’m so stupid.”
“Hey! Hey! Out of the three of us here, the stupid one is Jason.”
Jason opened his mouth to argue, but he just nodded, “Fair.” Marinette snorted and Jason simply looked at her with pity, “She’s right, though.”
“Right about you being stupid?”
“Right about you two making a real connection. I didn’t know you before, but I know Damian.” Before continuing, Jason leaned back and asked, “Wait, are you okay with this?” Marinette blinked and realized what he meant as the question “Do you want to talk about him?” is left unsaid. Marinette pauses for a moment and thought about it. Did she want to know more?
When her mind wandered to him, there was a mix of emotions that came with it. Though dulled, she was still mad and frustrated at him for not leaving the room. Yet, she wished she could go back a few days. She missed their banter and their talks with Captain Staller. She missed their dance battles as she got ever closer to beating his high score on ‘Crazee Boi’. She missed the small touches they shared as they walked together through the ship and through the different cities. Most of all, she missed how at ease she felt when she was with him. She didn’t need to act perfect or okay around him, he’s witnessed the worst parts about her and he didn’t even give them a second thought. He was the first one to really see her for who she was; a girl three steps away from burning out due to her crazy life. He didn’t scold her for her choices or try to talk her out of it, he related to her and did his best to give her a break. Damian was the best part of this whole vacation.
She nodded and Jason continued, “I’ve never seen him warm up to anyone the way he did with you. Damian doesn’t just talk to anyone the same way he does with you. He doesn’t let anyone just win an argument or fix his clothes and hair. He doesn’t just tell anyone about his past or his secrets. And Damian would never just fall asleep next to someone he didn’t know and trust for a while.” She listened intently as Jason leaned onto the table and rested his chin in his hand, “You were the first normal person his own age that he could just be himself around. He didn’t have to be on guard. He didn’t have to be ready to fight you. He didn’t have to put up a front around you.”
He sighed and looked Marinette right in her eye, “Marinette, you brought out the best in Damian. He was getting really tired and burnt-out from everything we do back home. I know you know this already, but he’s never been a kid. He’s never had friends his own age that were normal like this.” Jason smiled at Marinette and he leaned in close, “I’m going to get really cheesy right now, but I need you to get it. This never leaves this table okay? If it does, I’ll know it was you and I’ll make you pay for it.” Marinette rolled her eyes, but she still nodded. Jason, satisfied with their pact, grabbed her hand, “He’s never had the chance to fall in love with anyone, but he almost instantly fell for you.”
Marinette’s mind fizzed out at the sentence, yet before she could respond Jason’s phone started ringing. Jason pulled away and excused himself from the table to answer. Gina moved to sit by Marinette’s side and rubbed her back, “How are you feeling?”
“I- I really don’t know.” Marinette pressed her lips together in a firm line, “Grandma, what am I gonna do?”
“What do you mean?”
“Dick, calm down. Seriously, I can’t understand you when you get like this.” The two looked up at Jason and he licked his lips, “Okay, who cares if he’s on the ship?”
Marinette got up and walked over, “What’s going on? Who’s on the ship?”
Jason huffed and nodded, “Yeah that was Marinette.” There was a pause and Jason shoved the phone into Marinette’s face, “Dick wants to talk to you.”
Marinette looked confused as she held the phone to her ear, “Hello?”
“Marinette?”
“Yeah?”
“Okay, look, I need you to get back here soon. No one else is around. Nino, Alya, and Chloe are all in their groups in the city and you guys are the closest to the ship.”
“What? Why? What’s going on?”
“Tim and Damian are arguing with Adrien’s dad.”
Marinette blinked and shook her head, “What?”
“Adrien’s dad. He’s on the ship. I don’t know what happened, but Damian found them arguing and then jumped in and everyone’s yelling. I’ve tried to step in but when they get like this they won’t back down.”
She could hear some muffled voices in the background and asked, “Why is he on the ship?”
“I don’t know.”
She gulped and took a deep breath, “Can I talk to Adrien?”
“Give me a second.”
There were a few moments of shuffling before she heard a very tired, “Hello?”
“Adrien?”
She could practically see Adrien tense up in her mind, “Marinette?”
“What’s happening? What does your dad want? Why is he on the ship?”
Adrien sighed, “He wants to take me home.”
“What?”
Adrien winced at her shrill voice, “He wants to take me home early.”
“Why?”
Adrien looked over at his father and Nathalie having a heated conversation with the two youngest Wayne sons, “Marinette, can you please calm them down?”
“Calm who down?”
“Tim and Damian. They really aren’t helping and Dick can’t seem to get them to calm down either. If I’m being honest, he looks like he’s two minutes away from jumping in himself.”
He could hear keys jingling and some shuffling on the other end of the line, “I’ll be there in 10 minutes. Don’t go anywhere, don’t pack anything, have Plagg fly away with the card to the room if you have to.”
Adrien frowned as he watched his father get more and more agitated, “Just hurry.” He pressed the end call button and handed it to Dick before jumping back in. “Father, maybe we should-”
“Adrien, you are to do as your father says.”
“The hell he is, he’s not a puppet. He’s a person who has choices.” Tim’s eye twitched and he pinched his nose, “Look, I understand you’re the parent, but your son has been having a good time on this ship and to take him away early before the whole is over seems like a waste.”
“A good time? From what I’ve gathered, that’s far from the truth.” Gabriel narrowed his eyes at Adrien, “Don’t lie to me. You’re better than that.”
Damian crossed his arms, “And where, pray tell, are you getting this information?”
Nathalie stepped in front of Gabriel, “That is none of your concern.”
“Everything on this ship is our concern. From the passengers to the integrity of the ship itself will concern us.”
Gabriel straightened his back and held his ground, “I didn’t come here to be talked down to by a bunch of children.”
“Then expect to be talked down to by fellow businessmen.”
“And what is that supposed to mean?”
Adrien took a deep breath before motioning to Damian and Tim, “Father, this is Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, and Damian Wayne. They are three of the four sons of Bruce Wayne.”
If Gabriel was at all phased by this information, his body language gave nothing away. He simply raised his brow and said, “Interesting.”
That seemed to just irritate the youngest more, “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It’s interesting that Bruce Wayne lets his sons run around so carelessly.”
Adrien flinched and looked to the three brothers. This comment seemed to be the one to finally flip a switch inside Dick because he tensed up before glaring at Gabriel. “I find it interesting that you treat your perfectly mannered son like a juvenile delinquent. All that’s missing is bars over his windows and an ankle bracelet to ensure house arrest.”
“How I raise my son is none of your concern.”
“And like I said before, everything on this ship concerns us.” He could tell the frustration in the room was threatening to overflow. Adrien felt like he was watching a bottle of soda being shaken until it explodes; he didn’t when it was going to happen but at this rate an explosion is inevitable. “Look, this is getting us nowhere.”
Nathalie nodded, “Agreed, so if you would be so kind as to stand-down this process will go so much easier.” The subtle emphasis on ‘stand-down’ made Tim growl.
Tim coughed and reeled himself in before looking at his brothers. They all seemed to take a deep breath and suddenly it was like Adrien was facing three different versions of Bruce, both in and out of the suit. Dick looked the most at ease, but that was only in comparison to the other two. Dick looked like he was preparing to negotiate. Tim took a step back and seemed ready to analyze the situation, considering how he was as a person this made sense while he was trying to think of a game plan. Damian was the most frightening out of the three. Adrien was reminded of a few clips of Batman Alya showed him earlier this week, but more aggressive. Damian was playing offense and if that was the case Adrien just knew he was going to have to do a lot of damage control.
Damian spoke first and in a matter-of-fact tone said, “Let’s start this again. Gabriel Agreste, head of the Gabriel brand, husband of the late Emilie and father to Adrien. You were also ‘The Collector’ when you were akumatized some time back and you are known to make very rare in-person appearances. You are very adept at designing, business management, piano playing, speaking Japanese, and you have a history of fencing.”
Both Gabriel and Nathalie blinked and their stern exterior seemed to crack for a moment. However, Damian simply continued, “As your son stated before, we are three of Bruce Wayne’s sons. That is Richard Grayson, also known as Dick. He’s the eldest, a skilled acrobat and aerialist, great leadership skills and communication skills, and the one to talk to for an easy route.” Adrien expected some kind of scoff or come back to that comment, but Dick didn’t even blink.
“Timothy Drake, most refer to him as Tim. Incredibly intelligent, very skilled with most technology, also exceptional leadership and communication skills. He annoyingly, but accurately refers to himself as ‘boy genius’. He is the second easiest.” Tim quirked his brow and briefly looked at Damian before turning his attention back to Gabriel and Nathalie.
“The second eldest is not here, but his name is Jason Todd. Good at technology and has an affinity for weapons, specifically any and all guns. Incredible marksman. Not always the best at communication, but will fiercely protect those he cares about. He would be hard, but he isn’t an option right now.”
Damian placed a hand over his chest and his tone held a very distinct hint of a patronizing tone, “I am Damian Wayne. Youngest and only blood son of the four. I am a skilled swordsman, skilled fighter, expert with technology and weapons alike, and also the hardest of the four.” Damian stepped towards Gabriel and, despite the height difference, seemed to look down on him. “No matter who you talk to or try to negotiate with, I swear to you that you will lose. Adrien will stay on this trip until its final stop. Most importantly, he will receive the freedom and respect he deserves that he clearly isn’t getting from you.”
“How dare-”
“I would watch that temper, Agreste. Not only are Akuma running amok throughout the coastline, but there are cameras throughout the ship. Lose your temper here, yell at some children, whatever you do will be stored, shared, and exposed to the media at large.” Gabriel growled but stepped back. While Damian’s expression didn’t change, his eyes held a glint of sadistic amusement. It was like watching an owl wound their prey, but not catch it right away. Simply watching it squirm and make a feeble attempt to escape knowing very well that the shadow overhead will continue following them. This was their playing field, their rules, and Gabriel had to follow them. It was the first time Adrien saw someone talk to and bring down his father like this. He didn’t know whether to be shocked, amused, pity, or all three.
Gabriel glared at Adrien before turning away, “Adrien, I expect you to be packed and ready to go by the time this ship is ready to leave port. We’re leaving tonight.”
“We’ll see.”
Nathalie opened her mouth to respond, but Gabriel held his hand up and shook his head. The two simply left the room and it wasn’t until their footsteps faded away that anyone moved. Adrien could feel himself begin to breathe again, taking in deep breaths but they had no effect. Tim immediately walked over and snapped his fingers in his face, making Adrien look up at him. “Adrien, focus on me. Take deep breaths in and out. Four counts in, four counts hold, four counts out.” Adrien watched as Tim demonstrated and did his best to follow along. After a few minutes, the overwhelming feeling of dread stated to pass and he was just left feeling tired. “Good work.”
Adrien simply nodded and let out a weak laugh as he continued the deep breathing. Tim sent back a weak smile before looking over his shoulder. He saw his two brothers discussing something, no doubt their next step. Tim was genuinely shocked and enraged with how badly Gabriel treated Adrien. Did he curse or yell at him? No, but he treated Adrien like property and acted as if he was always doing something wrong. If he acted like Jason maybe he could see some of that behavior as being warranted, but Adrien was, by all definitions, an incredible son. Athletic, intelligent, well mannered, good heart, what more could Gabriel be possibly asking for?
Watching the anxiety practically seep through Adrien pores, he realized Gabriel was asking for a perfect model. Obedient, quiet, well built and well-mannered for good publicity, but only shown through a tightly locked frame. Never to be physically touched without proper certification, never to be altered except by those he deemed worthy to do so, and always held at arm’s length to avoid damaging goods. More orders than praises unless he does exactly as expected, but that is too far and too few in between. Most importantly, making Adrien feel necessary when, in reality, he’s being used for something superficial.
It was disgusting. Tim really hoped there were some good points to Gabriel’s character. Adrien would undoubtedly defend this man, so something had to be worth all of this. At least, that’s what Tim told himself to avoid throwing punches.
Dick walked over and rubbed Adrien’s back, “You doing okay?”
“Maybe, not sure yet.” Adrien ran his fingers through his hair and laughed, “I’ve never seen that before.”
“Seen what?”
“Seen that! Him being talked to like that! He actually stood down! I mean, Chloe’s mom kind of does that, but what you did was a whole new level!” He laughed, bleeding into the hysterical, and leans against Dick for support. He tried to hold it in, but that made him laugh more, “Oh my god, what’s happening to me?”
Dick chuckled, “Well, you just went through something super stressful and you’re still here on the ship. I’d say you’re on a high right now, but when you crash you’ll probably want a nap.”
Adrien took a few more deep breaths, “Okay. Okay, I think I’m okay. Dick, you should probably call Marinette before she tries to kill my dad.”
Dick paled, “Oh my god, she’s with Jason. If she doesn’t he sure as hell will.” He cursed to himself as he quickly turning away and dialing.
Adrien looked over at the last of the three Wayne boys, he noticed him standing further away and trying to avoid looking in Adrien’s general direction. Tim saw this and quietly said, “Hey, it’s fine if you’re still upset with him. Just because he helped doesn’t mean you guys are okay. You guys need to work this out together, but considering he just fought to keep you on the ship I’d say you have a good shot at making up.” Adrien’s shoulders fell and Tim shrugged, “Only if you want to.”
Adrien glared at the ground and sighed before calling out, “Damian?” Damian tensed and looked up at the blond. Adrien shuffled his feet before saying, “Thank you. For this.”
Damian relaxed a bit, “Don’t thank me yet, we have to make sure you stay on this ship.”
Adrien nodded and Tim simply smiled at him, “That’s a start.”
Dick walked back over and groaned, “Okay, that crisis is most likely averted.”
“Most likely?”
“Those two can be loose cannons when it comes to people they care about, can you really say with 100% certainty that neither will try something?” All three thought for a moment before shaking their heads and responding ‘no’. “Exactly. Look, Adrien, do you want to stay on this ship?”
“Yes! Yes, I do.”
“Then forget whatever your dad says. At least one of use will be with you if he tries anything. You are going to have the last of this vacation. After meeting your dad, you need it.”
Adrien smiled, “Thanks. Seriously, I’d already be on a plane to Paris right now if I was alone.”
Tim stretched and yawned, “Before we go for a round two, I say we get coffee and tell Bruce. I really want to see him rip that man a new one.”
Adrien flinched, “Maybe, not that harshly. I know he’s strict-”
“Strict?” Damian scoffed, “He reminded me of some of the trainers back before I met Bruce. They were just as cutthroat, but Gabriel is smart enough to hide and use it to his advantage. Lucky for you, you’ve got the best people on this ship to counteract that and not be intimidated by it either.”
Adrien frowned, “He’s my father-”
“The ‘father’ title doesn’t mean anything if he can’t act like a dad.” Both Damian and Dick snapped their heads to Tim and he finally seemed to realize how harsh that probably sounded. “Oh – Adrien, I didn’t mean to-”
“You did. That’s fine, I’ve heard worse come from Chloe.” Adrien rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled, “Let’s keep all of this from Marinette, Jason, and the others. They already don’t like him. I think hearing about this conversation would just add fuel to the fire.”
“You know if they find out we’re holding back, they’ll be even more pissed.”
Adrien’s eyes met Damian’s for a brief moment before both turned away from each other, “I know.”
Dick looked at Tim, but Tim simply shook his head. He mouthed, ‘Not now.’ Dick was even more confused, but hopefully Tim had some answers to his questions. Speaking of questions, Dick turned to Damian and asked, “Hey, did you mean all of that by the way?”
Damian’s eye twitched, “Mean what?”
Dick smiled, “Oh you know, ‘these are my two incredible brothers. Like, the best brothers I could ever have. Especially the oldest, Di-”
Damian growled and lunged at Dick, “You’re so full of it!”
Dick manipulated the move and managed to get Damian into an awkward side hug, “So, you finally admit we’re great to have around?”
“I’ll admit that you guys give me more grey hairs than all the villains in Arkham.”
Dick snickered, “You hear that Tim, Damian loves us!”
“You are actually going to get your tongue ripped out if you don’t shut up!”
Tim sighed in relief and chuckled, “I’m actually really glad.”
Adrien asked, “Why’s that?”
“Because what we’re watching right now is the real, true Damian Wayne. He’s always annoyed, gives backhanded compliments, ruthless, but just as socially awkward that it borders cute.”
“I swear to god Grayson, I will shove one of your batons so far down your throat that it’ll come out your-”
“Very, very, loosely borders.” Tim went over and pushed the two away from each other before roughly patting Damian’s back, “Good to have you back.”
Damian glared, but there wasn’t much hostility behind it. He knew they were worried but, if he was honest, he just didn’t know how to react. He was already going into entirely new territory when getting into a relationship, the messy break up made things ten times worse. It helped to let out some steam at Adrien’s sorry excuse for a father, but he could feel those bad feelings threatening to come back up. He hopes they were smart enough not to ask.
He pushed Tim away, “Shut up. Let’s just go talk to Father and keep Adrien on this ship. If we’re lucky, we could probably convince him to take Adrien in. God knows he has a habit of keeping athletic kids with sad backstories.”
“Hey!” Adrien was going to continue to defend himself when all three brothers turned and gave him a bored look. He scrunched up his nose and sighed, “Yeah, okay, let’s go find your dad.” Tim sent him a look of amused pity and walked over, “Can I just get some iced tea?”
“You can get whatever you want. If this goes over well, you’ll be able to help run this ship.” Adrien’s pout made him laugh as he started to walk themselves out.
Damian was ready to follow them when Dick grabbed the back of his collar and pulled back, “Hey!”
“We’ll catch up with you in a second.” Tim nodded and closed the door behind him.
“What the hell was that about?”
“So now that you’re talking, do you want to talk abou-”
“Dick.”
“Yeah?”
Damian crossed his arms, “Thanks for worrying about me, but if you ask me about it I will just go back to not talking. Just drop it and let’s focus on keeping Adrien on board.”
“Damian, I’ve seen you mad, sad, happy, murderous, and literally every emotion. I’ve never seen you this tired and now you are actually scaring me with the silent treatment. I have half a mind to get Jon involved.”
“Do that and I will make sure you and Kory never have kids.”
Dick rolled his eyes, “But you see why we’re so desperate to know, right?”
“Yeah.”
“So? Can you give me anything? Literally, if you talk to any of us about this we can help. We’ve all had girl problems-”
“That’s an understatement.”
“My point is that we can talk about it. Maybe give some advice? You can let us in.”
Damian shook his head, “It’s not that I don’t necessarily trust you-”
“Then what is it?”
“I can’t tell you, okay!” Damian’s raised voice didn’t catch him off guard as much as the message did.
“Can’t tell me? What are you talking about?” Damian took in a sharp breath before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. When he exhaled, he opened his eyes and Dick noticed he retreated into whatever void he was barricading himself in. Dick grabbed him by the shoulders, “Oh come on! Damian, you cannot do this! We were just getting somewhere! Damian!” Dick growled when Damian gave him no response other than stepping away and walking towards the door. “Damian, no! You can talk to me! Me! Dick! Your older brother, the one you can depend on, the one who – The one who really cares about how you’re doing.”
Damian paused and Dick continued, “Damian, we’ve been through a lot together. You can tell me pretty much anything and I’m going to help you through it. You know that! Just work with me here. Let me help!”
Damian sighed and turned back to face Dick, “You’re annoying.”
“I’m your brother. That’s kind of my job.”
Damian’s shoulders fell and shook his head, “Dick, know that this isn’t personal.” It wasn’t, it just felt wrong. He was already set on keeping her secret identity under wraps before she even suspected his, but afterward? The only reason any of Marinette’s friends knew was because they figured it out on their own. She would’ve taken it to the grave and he respected that. It honestly surprised him. “I just can’t tell you right now. If you want to know, just ask Marinette about it. That’s her secret to tell or not.”
Dick’s eyebrows shot up, “You do realize I’m just getting more concerned now, right? You literally compiled information on her that we all have access to. If it’s not in there, then what the hell is she hiding?”
“Something personal and something I probably shouldn’t have found out. If you guys look into it, I swear I will hurt all of you. I shouldn’t know and, quite frankly, I wouldn’t be in this situation if I didn’t.” Damian knew Dick would be looking into it if they haven’t already started, but if they were going to uncover that information he was not going to be any part of it. “Dick, promise me something.”
“Depends on the something.”
“Look into Lila. She’s has been acting suspiciously recently. I noticed something recently over the cameras and I think she’s up to something. I want you to talk to the other kids about it.”
Dick wasn’t expecting that, “How has she been acting?”
“She’s been talking to guests and wandering around every night. She avoids staff who know us like Tess and then will stay in her room for long periods of time on days things aren’t planned or scheduled unless one of the classmates goes and gets her first. For someone fighting to be queen bee of the school, isolating yourself and speaking to people outside the group you’re trying to win over seems like a waste of time.” Not entirely the truth, but Damian wanted to look more into it before assuming anything.
Dick hummed, “Yeah, okay, that’s weird. Is there a pattern to the people she talks to?”
“Not really.”
“Okay, so there isn’t a pattern and we know that she’s smart enough not to do stupid things like this.”
Damian snapped, “Unless gaining control of the class isn’t her goal anymore. She said that earlier too when we first met her in the gym after she took those photos. She said Adrien wasn’t even third place, I thought that meant she wasn’t looking to take Adrien anymore. What if she just switched up everything?”
“If that’s the case, then what’s her new goal? What does she want? She’s just a teenager.”
“You should probably ask Marinette about it. In the meantime, I’m going to go talk to Max.”
“Max?”
“Yeah, Max. He seems to have taken a liking to the computer room, Father finds him there often with his robot. I’ve been having them look over the footage just to see if they notice anything.”
“Wait, so he knows about Lila being a complete psycho?”
“He will now.”
Dick pinched the bridge of his nose, “You do realize that the last time we just sprang that information on someone there was a huge argument?
“You also realize that Tim did it out of spite towards Alya and scolded our whole friend group for not realizing it sooner, right? I’m just telling Max to watch over the tapes. If he figures something out then that’s all on him.”
“Touché.” Damian was about to turn away before Dick shouted, “Wait! Damian, you know you can trust me, right?”
“Yes, Dick.”
“Okay, just making sure.” Damian nodded before finally leaving. Dick stood there alone for a bit while he gathered his thoughts. He started talking to himself, “Okay, recap. Your brother is going through a bad break up, one of your friends is threatened to be kidnapped by his own crappy father, and now the mean girl might not just be a mean girl. Great. Totally have this in order.” Dick nodded, “Yeah, okay. It’s all coming together.”
“What’s coming together?” Dick jumped and turned to see Damian walk back in, “What? I forgot my phone.”
“You’re too good at that!”
“At what?”
“Sneaking up on people!”
Damian blinked before asking, “You were doing that weird thinking out loud thing again, weren’t you?”
“I’m trying to prioritize.”
“Then let me help you.” He looked around before grabbing his phone off a table and typing in something. Soon a notification went off on Dick’s phone and he pulled it out. It read, ‘1) Lila. 2) Akumas. 3) Leaving me the hell alone.’
“You think you’re so funny, don’t you?”
“I’m hilarious.”
“You’re stressful.”
Damian shrugged, “I’m your brother. That’s kind of my job.” Dick narrowed his eyes at Damian only to be sent a smirk.
“You know something?”
“What?”
“When we first got on this ship, this is what we were aiming for.” He motioned to Damian’s entire body, “This. Getting you back to acting like yourself.”
“And?”
“I’m surprised to see that even when she’s not around she still helped.”
“How do you know it’s her? Maybe I’m just feeling better.”
“Maybe, but if she wasn’t on this boat could you honestly say you would’ve actually socialized with the class that won?” His lack of an answer was telling, “Even if you don’t get back together, try to just leave on a better note. Leaving things unsaid always ends up in a bad time.”
“I know. I think we’ve all figured that out in one way or another.”
“Good. Tell me when you’re ready to talk. We’ll all help out or give advice.”
“To be fair, most of you guys don’t have the best track record.”
“At least talk to me then? Out of all of us, I probably have the best track record.”
“True.”
“Well?”
Damian paused before saying, “I’ll think about it. Just focus on Lila and Adrien for now, though.”
Dick smiled and nodded, “Yeah, yeah. Got it.” Damian held the door open and tilted his head, telling Dick to head out. Both went their separate ways down the hallways as they tried to follow they’re various missions. Dick went to catch up with Tim while Damian continued to move below deck to talk to Max.
It was weird to talk to Adrien again, but it was almost disappointing. He was so caught up in keeping Adrien on the ship that he forgot that Adrien probably didn’t want to see him either. He couldn’t help it though, something about Gabriel irritated him. The more Gabriel talked the more Damian wanted to punch him square in the face. When Gabriel began talking down to him, it brought Damian back to the first few months of living with Bruce in the manor and how he would often get scolded for his behavior. However, Damian had enough of a backbone to both take the lessons but fight against the aggression. Adrien clearly didn’t have that, at least not as himself. He’d need to look at more footage of Cat Noir to understand his behavior more.
He knew Adrien would probably be punished once back to Paris, but he figured something like that would happen with or without their intervention. For now, he was going to allow Adrien the opportunity to spend the final week free form his prison back home.
Damian supposed that was a good parallel between the two; both hated being locked up in cages. Cat or bird, both needed the freedom to strut around and live a little. Both of their worlds barred them from really allowing them to be themselves. Damian was given the opportunity to do so, despite it not going exactly as planned he still would look back on this trip fondly. He wanted to give the same to Adrien, if not as an apology then just as someone who understands what it’s like growing up with the expectation of perfection. Damian just hoped Adrien would have the courage to take advantage of it.
If not for himself, then for the people of Paris. A heartbroken and depressed Cat Noir would be of no use to Paris or Ladybug. Damian was avoiding a possible liability, but he was still avoiding her. Opening the door to the main computer hub, he was surprised when Markov immediately started pulling on his collar, “We have a feeling you might want to take a look at this.”

IF YOU ARE BORED I WILL APPEAR: the 100 for the in depth fandom questions 💖💖
Excellent timing, I just sent you an ask, too! :D Thanks babe. <3 I feel like I have so much more to say than I just did but the inspiration seems to have bailed on me. Oh well. If you have any follow-up questions hmu!
Top 5 favorite characters: Octavia, Echo, Lexa, Lincoln, Murphy Other characters you like: Gaia, Raven, Emori, Monty, Harper, Diyoza Least favourite characters: Clarke, Abby, Kane Otps: Octavia and Lincoln, Lexa and Clarke, Bellamy and Echo Notps: Bellamy and Clarke, basically anything involving Abby Favourite friendships: Murphy and Raven, Monty and Jasper Favourite family: Spacekru Favourite episodes: 4x10, 5x02, probably more but I can’t really think of anything else right now (I appreciated 7x02 but I’m not quite sure yet if I’m gonna call it a favorite, that will depend on how the rest of the season turns out) Favourite season: Season 2 Favourite quotes: “We’re back, bitches!” “I don’t choose pain. I choose life.” “Not everyone. Not you.” “ You're the most beautiful broom in a broom closet of brooms.” “ I can't change the tide if the moon won't cooperate. It's basic physics.” (I’m including this last one because of an amazing Monty/Jasper gif set I saw once.) Best musical moment: Ehh... Well I stll tear up basically every time I hear Cloud by Elias, the song that played during Lincoln’s death scene. It’s an amazing song and anything related Lincoln’s death still gets to me, not just because of the characters but also because of everything that went on with Ricky and everything he was put through, it’s just... it’s a very loaded moment in the series as well as behind the scenes. I’m not sure ‘best’ is the right word here but it’s the moment I’m going with. Moment that made you fangirl the hardest: When Octavia became Skaikru’s champion. I found it rather poetic that a young woman who had been spat out by her community simply for being born was their only hope for survival. Plus, she looked incredible. When it really disappointed you: It’s not just ‘a moment’ but I’ve been really disappointed by the show’s treatment of Octavia and how its hypocrisy concerning other characters who have done way worse shit than Octavia yet they are patted on the back and protected for it by the narrative. It aggravates me. I’m not mad that Octavia has had it rough, when a character gets everything handed to them on a golden platter with no real consequences, that’s boring. But it makes me mad that she’s the only one who has to pay for her mistakes and none of the others have to, and the way the characters are now comfortable joking about what has been the most traumatizing, horrifying and scarring thing anyone has ever had to go through really pisses me off. Octavia deserves so much better, the show really dropped the ball here. I’m also extremely disappointed by the way the show handled Lexa’s death. Octavia survived a sword through the gut and falling off a big ass cliff, but Lexa can’t take a stray bullet in the presence of someone who is meant to be a doctor? I mean I get that this was supposed to prove that we’re all vulnerable and that even Lexa, Heda of the thirteen clans can’t escape death, but come on. Also the way Jason treated the Clexa fandom was gross. Saddest moment: The moment Bellamy called Octavia “the queen of cannibals”. Up until that point I held onto hope that things would get better, that the show would still turn things around, that everything Octavia had been put through would be put into perspective when she could tell the one she loved the most about the horrors the bunker put her through. But when Bellamy called her that, it was made clear that not only did he find out about the most traumatizing part of his sister’s life (and it’s not like it lacked trauma before) but he also didn’t care. It was the moment where I had to give up hope that they could ever get to a place where I would respect and care for their dynamic again and it made me sad, because Octavia deserved so much better. Most well done character death: Oh god, this is a difficult one, because I have issues with most of the main characters’ deaths lol. So I’m gonna go with Nia for this one, because I really liked that Lexa recognized who the real threat was and took matters into her own hands and did what she could to maintain the coalition. I can’t think of another death that I didn’t hate. Favourite guest star: Probably Jessica Harmon Favourite cast member: Marie Avgeropoulos Character you wish was still alive: Lincoln, hands down. So many things would be different right now if he had still been around. One thing you hope really happens: I hope Bellamy and Echo are endgame and not just that, I also hope that the show will allow Bellamy to treat Echo with the love and respect she deserves. Because so far the show hasn’t really shown their relationship much respect and most of the effort is coming from Echo’s side and I don’t care much for that. Bellamy clearly loves her a lot, so I hope the writers will let him show and prove that to us in the final season. Most shocking twist: I don’t really think the 100 is good at shocking twists? You see most of them coming from miles away lol. When did you start watching: When it came out, basically. :) Best animal/creature: Helios! Favourite location: Ehh... I’m gonna go with the dropship or Arkadia, not because I love those places so much but because they’re where the show’s best seasons (one and two) basically happened. Trope you wish they would stop using: BYG One thing this show does better than others: Pissing off its fanbase! :’D Funniest moments: Most of Monty and Jasper’s interactions in the earlier seasons, those two were amazing. Couple you would like to see: I wish the show would make Niylah and Octavia a thing even if I don’t passionately ship it. I also became a huge fan of Clarke and Gaia! Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: I really don’t know anyone for this question... I’m a big fan of Kristen Stewart so I’d probably be thrilled with that, but it’s not something that I actively want or anything. Favourite outfit: Ehh... As much as I hate to say this, Clarke does get the best outfits and I think I’m gonna go with the dress she wore early in season 6. I’m also a huge fan of Octavia’s grounder look bw. Favourite item: Lincoln’s diary Do you own anything related to this show: Nope What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in: Well I don’t know which one I would be in, but Spacekru or Trikru seem like the most fun so I’d want to be a part of one of those! Most boring plotline: I never really cared for the City of Light although I will admit that storyline had a lot of potential, I’m just not sure the show really handled that well? Most laughably bad moment: The fact that Clarke just becomes anyone’s leader anywhere while not doing anything for it. And how fast she was forgiven and integrated into Spacekru in season 6 while doing the bare minimum to work for their forgiveness and showing no signs of remorse or wanting to change. Best flashback/flashfoward if any: I really liked the flashbacks of Octavia’s childhood, they did a good job of portraying what life had been like for her and it helped us understand her character better, even if they were short and limited to one episode. I also really enjoyed watching Octavia during those ten years in Skyring, but I’m not sure those qualify as a flashback and I do have some issues with them, still, so I’m gonna go ahead and stick with 1x06. Most layered character: Octavia, hands down Most one dimensional character: Oh god, how do I answer this... Of the core group I guess I would go with Raven. And that isn’t because I don’t love her, because I very much do, it’s the show’s fault for not really digging into anything that’s related to her. She’s just in the background until they need her to fix a problem they’ve been having or until they need someone to be tortured, or lately when they need to make Clarke look less horrible. She just doesn’t really get much else to work with, we don’t know what motivates her, we barely see her feel a type of way about the things she’s put through and when she does get a voice, it’s obviously meant to create sympathy for other characters so... yeah. Scariest moment: I don’t find it a very scary show hahaha. Grossest moment: The graphic scene of Lincoln’s execution, it was in such poor taste, especially considering everything that had been going on with Jrot and Ricky. Best looking male: Murphy Best looking female: Octavia and Echo Who you’re crushing on (if any): Octavia and Echo Favourite cast moment: Ehh, I don’t really keep up with the cast so idk? I did love Marie calling Echo Octavia’s sister-in-law though. Favourite transportation: None I think, I don’t really care? Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): The one that comes to mind right away is the one of Octavia swimming towards the surface after she ran into the anomaly, it’s just such a pretty shot. Other than that, well, The 100 is shot in a beautiful environment so a lot of their scenery is gorgeous but I just immediately thought of this one. Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: Jason’s blabbing about the damn worms. The way 3x01 felt completely disconnected from everything that happened in 2x16 also still bugs me. And how it feels as if the new writers never really saw the previous seasons and instead just read character descriptions, I feel like they didn’t really grasp the relationships and stuff like that in season 6. Best promo: Ehh, I usually just watch the episodes so I don’t really have an opinion about this. Loved the uproar the one for season 7 caused, though, because I’m a sucker for drama hahaha. At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: As soon as I met Octavia, she’s my baby and you will have to take her from my cold. dead. hands.
Send me a show/fandom and I’ll answer
