Hard questions I’m about to ask, but you have two choices. 1) Riggins/Street or Harringrove and 2) Tim Riggins or Billy Hargrove?

I feel like I have to pick harringrove cuz I’ve just been in it longer ya know? But jasontim be HITTIN in ways I cannot even get into right now like woooo eeee I think my fixation on the complex relationships amongst boy best friends has been well documented at this point

As for billy vs Tim it’s Billy it’s always Billy lmao he got the tragic ending AND never pissed me the fuck off by saying stupid shit (which given the nature of his character I understand this is a polarizing statement but like listen… there’s a difference between an antagonist saying antagonistic things and a protagonist working my last goddamn nerve cuz I hate the ship he’s been put into. God, this fic is so, so lovely.  I’ve been quietly obsessing over it for the past two weeks.  It’s one of those stories that strongarms you into falling in love with every single character in Batman comics (no matter how lukewarm you might be about them in canon) because they’re written here in such vibrant, brilliant, cohesive ways — Tim, Jason, Steph, Cassie, Damian, Dick.  The plot is fun, the dialogue is snappy, and the writing style is deft as all get out.  There are so many moments throughout the story that make me cackle and giggle, and the sex scenes are, like, five-gold-stars erotic.  I swear, the chemistry between Jason & Tim is so burning hot that the house could go up in flames around me while I’m reading this fic and I wouldn’t notice.

Basically:  highly, highly recommend!!

Drawn for me for a trade. :) I wrote her a fic, which I will be posting following this (link). It's a fic for her comic, though, not JayTim! (Tho I'd write that for her in a heartbeat) I gave options for her part of the trade, and one of them was along the lines of "SNUGGLES. With LOTS of blankets and pillows!!" And she kindly did this absolutely lovely JayTim. :')

Upon her request, I posted it here. So PLEASE be aware that this is not done by me (I wish man). Also, don't go bother her for more, okay? JayTim: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

Bold of you to assume Tim sleeps. Jk. Tim will fall asleep at his desk usually but if does fall asleep around Jason it’s with his head against his shoulder. Jason on the other hand likes sleeping with his head in Tim’s lap. One of the few times he lets himself be vulnerable as he relaxes under Tim’s touch. Tim likes to stroke Jason’s hair as he rests.

Red Robin gets hit with a love spell during battle that knocks him out and will make him fall in love with the first person he sees when he wakes up.

The Bats takes him back to the Cave and while they wait for Bruce to get Zatanna or some other magic user to come help break the spell they all agree Red Hood should be who Red Robin sees and he can deal with a lovestruck Red Robin.

Since he'd be the one best able to handle that without the awkwardness of being his ex.

(Steph is his ex, Dick is in Bludhaven, Cass is in Hong Kong and Duke has a girlfriend. Which leaves Bruce. (He refused.) Barbara. (She laughed.) Or Damian. (Everyone agreed it was best not to.) So, Jason is what's left.)

Only, when Tim wakes up and sees Jason, he doesn't act any differently. He just gets up and demands a mission report and tries to go about business as usual, much to everyone's confusion.

(And to the disappointment of Stephanie, who had her phone out ready to record.)

They explain the love spell and wonder why nothing happened and Tim just says that obviously it didn't work and to not worry too much about it.

The spell did work it's just that Tim was already in love with Jason so nothing actually changed outwardly.

Bruce manages to get Zatanna there a few days later and examines Tim, and is also confused because there's definitely a love spell on him and there's no reason it shouldn't be working. To prevent her from looking further into it and making a big deal, Tim, in private, hints at why there might not be any effects.

Zatanna gets it and agrees to remove the spell and say that it just wasn't that strong after all.

Everybody seems to accept that explanation and move on, except for Jason, who knows Tim is hiding something and he's determined to find out what.

(Bruce also realizes that something is up but wants to respect Tim's privacy.)
