Lois Lane has a cut out clip of Vicki Vale. Vicki Vale is a journalist in Gotham City. Her first appearance was in Batman #49 (1948) as seen in the panel here (W: Bill Finger, A: Lew Sayre and Bob Kane, I: Charles Paris, L: Ira Schnapp).

Looks like Jimmy is a fan of Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. Good video game taste.

Jimmy mentions a psychic starfish and the one starfish in the DC universe who is psychic is Starro the Conqueror, who's first appearance is in Brave and the Bold 28 (1960) (the cover art here is done by Mike Sekowsky, Murphy Anderson, and Ira Schnapp) and has the power to mind control people.

Lois, after barging into Perry White's office about a story, mentions Mt. Simonson. This is a neat name drop to Superman: The Man of Steel writer Louise Simonson, one of the nicest comic book writers you'll ever meet. She helped co-create John Henry Irons a.k.a Steel with artist of the Superman: The Man of Steel comic, Jon Bogdanove (really hope we get to see Irons in this show too).

Jon Bogdanove also gets a name drop here as does...

Dan Jurgen, comic book writer and artist on the Superman comic in the 90s (also one of my favorite Superman artists).

Now who are these kids that call themselves the Newskid Legion? Well, they are a VERY deep DC cut and reference to the Newsboy Legion back in the 1940s. The group was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, LEGENDARY comic book creators.

But who is the one below that drawing? We'll his name is in Big Word's word puzzle, in the show. It's Jim Harper, the Guardian.

Jim Harper becomes the Newsboy Legion's legal guardian despite their causing trouble for him. The page here is from Star Spangled Comics #7, the Newsboy Legion and the Guardian's first appearance, by Joe Simon, Jack Kirby, and Whitney Ellsworth. You might've seen the Guardian on the recent Young Justice cartoon.

When Lois, Clark, and Jimmy go investigate about the smuggled robots in Metropolis, Jimmy makes a reference to super intelligent gorillas in France. This is a subtle hint at Monsieur Mallah, the Doom Patrol villain who will be in the show along with his partner, the Brain. Both made their first appearance in Doom Patrol #86 (1964) .

The cover art here is done by Arnold Drake, Bob Brown, and Ira Schnapp.

Later in the episode we see Clark receive his powers and he is surrounded with electricity, giving off Superman Blue vibes when in the comics, Superman gained electricity powers and became Electric Blue Superman who's first appearance was in Superman #123 (1997) (cover art by Ron Frenz, Joe Rubenstein, Patrick Martin, and Todd Klein.

Headcanon A:  realistic

they start hanging out after kon's resurrection and the destruction of new krypton. kara's feeling so lost for so long, and kon's trying to figure out who he is, and they're both family. he teaches her about earth and she teaches him about krypton. they talk through their grief about it and how out of place they both feel in different ways. they go to the arcade together and just vibe. it's good for them both!

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

kara has a hot temper and a protective streak. she's already pissed enough about the way cat grant wrote about her; one day she and kon are just like, at panera bread or whatever as conner kent and linda lang, and she overhears someone talking shit about superboy. conner has to throw linda over his shoulder and haul ass out of there before she starts throwing furniture. please linda i appreciate it you are SO sweet but i don't wanna get banned from panera bread

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

when i first read new krypton arc and zor-el snapped kara's glasses saying she didnt need to be linda lang anymore, i honestly thought those were kon's glasses and was devastated. like, in canon she says hey i just bought those! but i think it's so much worse if they were the pair of kon's glasses that tim gave her.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

kara hangs out in smallville sometimes just to see kon and ma and krypto! she meets kon's smallville friends too (and maybe kisses lori luthor behind the old silo. i mean what)

Summary:

In the wake of Bruce's death and Damian's rise as Robin, Tim Drake is left alone and spiraling. When Conner died fighting Superboy Prime, he left more than just a heartbroken Tim behind.

Faced with being a single teen parent, Tim has to struggle between the loss of his father, his two closest friends, and the love of his life. Then Bruce is gone, and Robin is taken from him as well.

Betrayed by what remains of his family, Tim happily stays away, vowing to his son that he will never have to be exposed to the Bats. After all, they never cared for Tim; why would he think they would care about his child? So far, he's been lucky, not having run into any of the Bats despite still living in Gotham.

Sure, his luck was bound to run out eventually, but he hoped his son would at least be old enough to talk when it did.

(SPOILERS if you havent seen it obviously)

About 3ish minutes into the episode we see Clark be affected by red sun radiation, one of the non-Kryptonite weakness Superman has.

In the comics we first learn about this weakness in Action Comics #300 (1963), cover art by Curt Swan, George Klein, and Joe Letterese, where Superman is transported to the future by the Superman Revenge Squad, where the sun turned red thus losing his powers and has to find a way back home.

At the place where Jimmy was captured, we meet Monsieur Mallah and the Brain, at least MAwS version of these characters. I talk more about them in here. The episode has them depicted more like an old married couple with no supervillainous intentions compared to their comic counterparts...

who often associate themselves as enemies to the Doom Patrol and affliated with the Brotherhood of Evil. Also the Brain is usually French in the comics, here in MAwS, the Brain is German. The cover is from Outsiders #37 (2006) cover art by Daniel Acuna.

Back outside we see where Monsieur Mallah and the Brain took Jimmy, Cadmus Minefield.

Cadmus/Project Cadmus/the DNA Project, is known for its genetic engineering projects. The organization makes its first appearance in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #135 (1971) created by legendary comic book creator, Jack Kirby. Cadmus is pretty well known for cloning Superboy/Kon-el/Conner Kent. Like in MAwS Cadmus is a government sanctioned division that's located outside of Metropolis. Ironic since in MAwS the government disavows Cadmus. You can read more about it on these two pages from Who's Who in the DC Universe #12 (1991), the art is done by Dan Jurgens, Dennis Janke, and Anthony Tollins.

Later in the forest we see Lois and Clark have to deal with the OMACs.

In the comics, Jack Kirby created OMAC, at the time, the acronym stood for One Man Army Corp. Buddy Blank of Earth-AD (a future post-apocalyptic Earth) was selected to be part of the OMAC program where with the help of the Brother Eye satellite grants him powers of super strength, stamina and density control. The cover art here for OMAC #1 (1971) was done by Jack Kirby, Mike Royer, and Gaspar Saladino.

Years later OMAC gets reinvented to be a cyborgs of Brother Eye that was developed by Batman thanks to his paranoia about super powered heroes turning evil. The page here is from the OMAC Project #5 (W: Greg Rucka, P&I :Jesus Saiz, C: Hi-Fi, L: Phil Balsman). This iteration of OMAC uses the acronym for Omni-Mind and Community. These Cyborgs make their first appearance in the OMAC Project #1 (2005). MAwS's OMACs are a lot more robotic and Evangelion-esque designed compared to how they look in the comics. Note the mohawk/fin designs on OMACs heads in both iterations of the comics and how the robots are designed in MAwS.

Monsieur Mallah mentions one dimensions in the universe where he and the Brain can be accepted. This brings to mind...

DC's multiverse. The multiverse makes its first appearance in the Flash #123 (1961) where Barry Allen and Jay Garrick meet for the first time. DC's multiple Earths have changed over the years from having only 52 distinct Earths to now infinite. The Multiverse map created by Grant Morrison and Rian Hughes, here is from Multiversity comic series.

Someone on the MAwS crew is a fan of the ED-209 design in Robocop.

After the fight with the OMACs, the Brain talks about the General. The only person in DC comics who usually goes by that moniker is...

General Wade Eiling. The panels here are from Captain Atom #1 (1987) (W: Cary Bates, P: Pat Broderick, I: Bob Smith, C: Carl Gafford, L: John Costanza). General Eiling is often associated with Suicide Squad/Task Force X. So it's possible that much like Parasite and Ivo, the MAwS team are combining characters by having...

him be a combination of General Eiling and General Sam Lane, Lois's dad. But who knows. Gotta wait for confirmation if this is either Eiling or Lane.

Conner Kent/Kon-El nsfw alphabet

I’m going off of comic Conner in this, so he’s 21, wears leather jackets and has piercings, you know the one. Ill mostly be referring to him as Kon.

A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)

Depending on the if he was the one in charge or you were hes slightly different during aftercare. If he was the one in charge, he makes sure to clean you up and get you some water and maybe a snack, if you were the one in charge he just lays limp on the bed letting you clean him up looking way too satisfied with himself. Either way he wants to cuddle afterwards and falls asleep pretty easily.

 B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

His favorite part of himself is ass, chest or arms. On his partner its their hands, pits, ass or that area between your thighs and crotch. (he likes the smell, what can I say)

 C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)

Like any kryptonian he cums a lot, like your gonna need new sheets because the ones you have on your bed are beyond saving. He loves to suck you off and will always swallow or have you spill all over his face and tongue, he also loves to rub your cum into his skin or his into yours as some kind of scenting thing.

 D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)

Has fantasies of you having your way with him in public areas so he can show off that you are his and he is yours, and there’s some primal part in his chest that wants to flaunt his claim on you. His need to breed you or be bred is nowhere near as powerful as Clarks, since Kon hasn’t reached full sexual maturity of kryptonians in my headcanons, but it’s still there.

 E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)

He doesn’t have the most experience being a clone and all, but he did sleep around a good amount before you got together but it tended to just be quickies, so you have a lot you can experiment with together.

 F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)

He likes to do it floating if he’s in charge and if you can fly yourself. He loves to be bent over or the mating press position. Kon also quite likes you be held down and have you take him from behind.

 G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)

Kon can be pretty goofy at times, and tends to crack jokes at the worst times.

 H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)

Because kryptonians have little to no body hair Kon has a lot less body hair than a human, but he still has some because he’s only half kryptonian. It tends to gather near his crotch, his arms and legs and a little on his chest, but he shaves for the most part.

 I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

In the beginning I think Kon tries hard to play it up and be better than he actually is, so he isn’t super romantic. But after a while he becomes pretty sweet and loving, especially if you’ve been at it for a while or haven’t seen each other in a while.

 J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)

Doesn’t need to jerk off anywhere near as much as a full blooded kryptonian, but he still needs to get off every other day or it can become almost uncomfortable. It’s not unusual for him to slip away to the bathroom or something like that to jerk off just to get the pressure out, but he likes when you do it the most.

Kon is up for it pretty much anywhere, anytime. You just need to give him the sign and he’s happy to slip off with you for a bit. Though, of course not when there’s something important happening or you guys’ attention is actually needed.

It is pretty easy to get Kon going, just give him the right look and touch him correctly, bite his neck and nibble his ears, maybe pull on his piercings with your teeth. His sense is smell is pretty sensitive so he would be able to pick up if you’re horny too, or your post workout sweat would get him on the right path as well.

 N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)

Wouldn’t want to do anything that could harm you or him too bad, like loaded weapons or kryptonite, but hes all for stuff like spanking, choking, etc. He isn’t the biggest fan of sharing and on an instinctual level can have quite a jealous streak.

 O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)

He doesn’t mind getting head, but he loves nothing more than sucking you off and having you as far down his throat as possible. When you started dating, he was already skilled with his mouth from his multiple partners in the past, but he just got even better as he became almost addicted to having you in his mouth. He’s got some different muscles in his throat and a longer tongue because of him being half kryptonian, so enjoy that as you will.

 P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)

When you first started dating, he always went slow and was very careful if he was topping, and it still happens pretty frequently if you aren’t as indestructible as he is, he doesn’t wanna hurt you on accident. But when you top, he wants you to be fast and rough and just give it to him. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his soft, loving moments though.

 Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)

Hell yeah he’s all for quickies, you don’t even have to ask. He will climb you like a tree anywhere, anytime. He especially loves to be plugged up afterwards so he can walk around with it the rest of the day, it makes that feral part in his chest all happy to be marked by you like that.

 R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)

He’s one of those people who will try most things at least once if its something you both are interested in, but he’s also pretty quick to decide if he likes something or not.

 S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

He doesn’t have as much stamina as a full blooded kryptonian, but he will still most likely have more stamina than you unless you’re a meta or something like it. So expect to be exhausted before Kon, and since Kon has very little rest period between rounds it can be hard sometimes.

 T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

He owns some toys, he’s not ashamed to admit that. They’re mostly stuff that’ll stimulate his lenght or he can use to jerk off since nothing feels as good as you inside him. Kon would also own toys from different things you’ve both tried out.

 U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)

He loves to tease, be it wearing pants that hug his ass just right, to bending over a table just infront of you or sitting in your lap and wiggling around. He would also say dirty stuff in your ear or give you major bedroom eyes during the day. You wouldn’t let him go without returning it all back on him, so you both tease each other a lot.

 V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

For the most part hes like a medium volume, not too loud or too quiet, but you can get him to wail and yell if you work him just right. If you are home he isn’t scared of being loud, but he keeps his volume down if you’re out and about.

 W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

Would definitely wear a collar in public if you wanted him too, or one of those chains with a lock on it to show everyone he’s taken. He also loves to wear your clothes or have you wear his, it makes his kryptonian instincts very happy. He still hasn’t fully reached kryptonian sexual maturity which is in the 30s and up, so part of you fear what kind of monster he will become after that if he’s this horny already.

He makes the same noises as other kryptonians though you wont be able to hear them unless you are kryptonian too, noises like purrs or growls, which are at a frequency only kryptonians and few other species can hear.

 X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

Because of those kryptonian genes he’s pretty big, like intimidating kinda big but not so big you fear for your body and if he will split you in half. He’s long and thick, with some veins especially around the underside, and he’s uncut.

 Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Being kryptonian means he has a pretty high drive but nowhere near as much as a full-blooded kryptonian, you can still expect him to jump you like a starved dog if you haven’t seen each other in a few days though. Its also pretty easy for him to get turned on when he hasn’t gotten off in a few days, just catching your scent on some clothes or your pillows is enough.

 Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

Like I said earlier he’s probably got more stamina than you, but he falls asleep pretty quickly afterwards. It stems from him being surrounded by you and your scent and just being comfortable. In the beginning of your relationship he probably stayed awake for a while after, but as it progressed he grew more at ease and now he knocks out pretty quickly.
