if there was one place scaramouche would be, minus one of the empty classrooms on campus, it would be the library.

he would always spend his time there at the very back, reading silently as some sort of escape. well, that, or he’s just simply hiding from his friends (mostly just childe and venti). you’ve seen him there a few times, but you never really went near him; you just kept your distance, and that’s it.

it was always like that—you and scaramouche lived in separate worlds despite being so close (in terms of physical distance, at least).

so how come now you’re slowly bursting through each other’s shells? it doesn't make any sense at all!

arriving at the back of the library, you spotted him immediately.

you could understand why scaramouche likes this spot a lot. it isn’t that cold, but it isn't that hot either. and practically no one comes into this area since all of the books are in the front (then again, no one really comes to the library nowadays in general; if you were lucky enough, you might be the only one spending a vacant period here).

it was common sense to observe silence in the library, so the only way of communication was either whispering or writing notes.

When you got to your titled room you see your swim wear on a hanger with a crochet top as an over shirt of the swimsuit. You put on the swim wear and sit in the swivel chair so your makeup artists can come and do your makeup.

You waited 6 minutes and she never showed. You exit the room.

“Uhm excuse me, my makeup artist is not here?” You say softly.

“My apologies I forgot to let you know that she could not make it. The photographer says apologetically.

“Somebody get Scaramouche.”

“We need you for hair and makeup.” The photo grapher tells him.

After finishing your hair and makeup you say “I guess you’re good at everything didn’t know you were this good at makeup.” You say giggling

“don’t mention it.” he looks at you through the mirror “You don’t look as bad with makeup on.”

“Thats not really a compliment but i’ll take it.” You say to him through the mirror “Let’s go so we can get this over with.”

“Hey for doing my makeup do you want to go get lunch with me? i’ll pay.” You ask as he walks up to you.

Another hc is I think Shinji loses a lot of weight during the 2 years just cuz he isn’t getting enough to eat and he’s getting sicker and then when he’s recovering he has to take a lot of time to be able to move again so he’s definitely not doing much strenuous activity and he regains weight slowly. I think what is able to really help him both gain weight and learn to be nicer to himself is he makes food that he himself would enjoy (its a long journey cuz he’s not used to being nice to himself and he’s very crabby about it lol) and I like to imagine him having a sweet tooth and liking cookies and cake a lot and he gets chubbier over time and Akihiko is like over the moon cuz Shinji is taking care of himself and it’s showing!

Then Mitsuru um because of fucked up angsty reasons shes had to prioritize her appearance a lot, a whole metaphor for keeping up a facade so she doesn’t reflect badly on the company, and she always is very controlling of what she eats and how it’d make her look. She also puts a lot of effort into her hair and makeup to keep up a perfect image of femininity. Then like during her social link she’s with Kotone just kinda exploring common shit for the first time and she develops a love of fast food and it frightens her cuz like. What’s happening to her she isn’t allowed to have this kinda indulgence and she certainly isn’t allowed to enjoy it either. But she’s supported and encouraged to let herself eat whatever she wants and she just explores a lot of options and eats what she likes even if it’s not some perfect shit that keeps her skinny I think Kotone and Yukari would collectively be like PLEEASSEEE DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY IF ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING WE WILL MURDER THEM WE HAVE OUR WEAPONS DRAWN. So Mitsuru gets fatter and also stops wearing makeup too and it’s very scary cuz she’s always had it ingrained in her that this is the last thing she’s allowed to be but she also feels her body and looks at her natural face and she finally feels like her body is her own and she loves what she’s made

Obviously we gotta have Shinji and Mitsuru bond over their new food revelations it’s part of repairing some strain in their relationship I think Shinji can definitely be pretentious about food and would probably have negative opinions of fast food like he’ll eat it cuz sometimes you just can’t cook but hes snarky about it. But when he sees Mitsuru likes it she figures he’s got something snarky to say and he’s just like "uh actually knowing what you’ve gone through I’d be pissed if you didn’t eat fast food let’s go get some borgers". He does make some of his own shit occasionally though like burgers and fries for Mitsuru to have and it’s a nice gesture but it just doesn’t capture the ENERGY of wild duck burger 🙄. Shinji would melt anyone if they said that though alsjka. Mitsuru in return would get Shinji some fancy ingredients and any special sweets that are all expensive (even though I strongly believe the happiest ending for Mitsuru is one where she isn’t really a part of the Kirijo group family anymore let’s just say she still has a way to get yummy snack akjsks). They candy is always really strange and tastes like shit 8/10 times and Shinji will eat all of it anyway and he will not share

Maths and hunger are never good combinations the formulas were practically floating off the pages, it’s not like it seems of course I didn’t have that much pride in me to not take food when it’s been made especially if it’s prepared by Miya Osamu he was on his way to probably raking in a lot of money for his skills he would definitely own a whole chain of restaurants someday who would skip out on the chance to eat his cooking for free? Me that’s who it was just survival maybe even a sore attempt at salvaging my dignity I wouldn’t be able to stomach any of the food no matter how delicious it was if I was forced to eat in front of Kiyoomi and his friends.

When we were younger and I’d been more naïve desperate as ever to just fit in and be friends with him, my Japanese was raw and unrefined I could barely speak it let alone understand the tongue of native speakers but it was kind of obvious what they were saying when I pulled out my bento in front of them in school and they would shove Kiyoomi around tease him and make faces at me while I ate and laughed like an idiot with them as they mocked me and I sat there the object of their amusement as they intimidated me into a corner in their gruff voices with sharp toned words I didn’t understand.

Everyone had insecurities but Kiyoomi liked to solidify my own in a way that left lasting wounds I nursed till they would stop stinging the cruelty and precision with Kiyoomi begins when he finds your deep dark secrets once it’s found he uses every chance he has to exploit it that sting I mentioned? It never goes away it’s always reminding me of its existence when he berates me when he makes my heart ache with his whiplash behavior when it shouldn’t that I should know better to accept the scraps of his mercy.

I had been close to crying on several occasions throughout our childhoods, it’s not dramatic to say I’m traumatized by some of his actions the nightmarish way he stares down at me till I can’t bare the weight of its intensity causing me to develop a reflexive flinch and that prickling need to turn tail and run till he couldn’t find me anymore has been ingrained in my body. My phone glows face down beside its place on my desk, I shouldn’t get distracted but with the noise outside, the headache of hunger looming over me and my mind fogging up, I abandon my studies to the mechanical addiction that always had a certain way of making me forget how much I hated my life and like a godsend he’s online and trying to comfort me in his own ways.

He had let me go and was now leaning against the other side of the window looking down into the other yard and the street beyond that waiting to see anything that resembled or signaled to Mitsu arriving. He smirks his eyes never leave mine, “That’s fair I guess, do you know I had refused to go oversees when our parents got the acceptance letter for me in the mail?", yes I did know that they had made a big fiasco over it too till the sweet talking bastard convinced them that staying home was better he wanted to be focused he said he didn’t need to be so far away he said wouldn’t want to miss them too much he said what a load of crap,"I did that for you I chose to stay for you and to think I turned it all away for you to what? Give yourself a way to some little high school runt who probably can’t even fuck you right?".

I back away from him and he rolls his eyes before sighing frustrated and then my phone is flying across the room and smashing against the wall, “Come over here Y/n", when I resist he’s backing me up towards my desk, “I’m not going to hurt you I just want us to sit down and talk, that’s all", I keep moving back towards my desk till it hits my back and he sighs standing right in front of me till our feet touch, his hand moves forward and I flinch till he brings me into his hold hushing me like I’m some child in some ways I suppose that was how he saw me a spoiled child he had the power to discipline. "I just want to talk, so can you please come sit down with me I hate making you do things especially when you look so sad after despite it being for your own good, I don’t take pleasure in it Y/n despite what you might believe but you don’t leave me much choice", I need to play along just enough till I could distract him and get him off me.

It takes everything in me not to physically recoil when I look him dead in the eye hoping he doesn’t see the lies, I reach up hesitantly he moves away cautious as he should be but blushes like the sick fuck he is when I cup his face smoothing my thumbs over his cheeks soft, slow docile like he so wants me to be, “You just scared me Kiyoomi, I get scared when your angry with me", I can’t believe my luck when he sighs into my hand actually turns to kiss my palm, “I know....fuck I know sweetheart I’m working on it, I was doing better until I saw.....saw you crying to that little-", I could physically feel his pulse throb and I hastily wrap his hands around my waist what the hell was I doing. Hmmm I actually havent think of it so let me just type this one out on the fly lol

The logical one (and the one almost paralel to canon) is of course all of them graduating. Although in my AU, I honestly have trouble trying to string everyone together, especially since Aki and Mitsu will still remain as a senior. Not to mention in canon they at least have a reason to stick to each other for 1 goal and 1 purpose only which is to eliminate Dark Hour entirely, I just can't think of a very good reason rn why all of the cast would be friends with each other.

What I had in mind is there would be 2 groups seperating, with the outcast being Makoto, Aigis, Fuuka, Shinji and Junpei (sometimes) while the more favorable (or popular if I might say) is Kotone, Aki, Mitsu and Yukari. Shinji is pretty much in his own world and Junpei is pretty much has his own friend group as a school jock (but more of a manfailure kind of way lol). The idea in my head right now is that Kotone serves as a bridge between the outcast and the popular kids so like as time progress, both of the groups would bump into each other more often and maybe all of them will be involve into something, somehow, idk I havent think of that far yet lmfaooo

But god you made me think of something funny like what if Kotone actually has to move far away and Aigis knows this much earlier than others because Kotone told her and on her last week in town and last day at school she finally has the courage to ask her out on the rooftop but word got out about her going away so like everyone rushes to meet her to confess or ask her out as if they cant just text her lmfao that would be so chaotic like they would be "NO I KNOW HER LONGER THAN YOU!" Khaori’s witch looks like this. Its nature is evasive. The witch resembles an eel skeleton that hides in her labyrinth, her familiars are other sea creatures such as crabs and goldfish with human legs. They collect possessions of emotional importance from in and out side of the labyrinth and bring them back to decorate the hermit shell the main witch hides in. The main witch’s mouth looks like a stump of a severed limb pouring out a dark red photo developing acid. The angler fish bulb suspended over its head flash bangs any suspected danger, allowing the witch to get away, and prints a photo thru the mouth side of the two holes on either side of its head. One side has a mouth with teeth around a eye shaped hole, the other side with eyelashes you can see thru to the brain floating in the acid. Sorry these are just uncolored sketches! These are the only ones I’m happy with LOL.

Asami’s witch looks like this. Its nature is to endure. Fueled by a firey rage it uses its massive arms to climb around its labyrinth, which looks like a toy town where all the buildings are seashells and a couple skyscrapers here and there. The skyscrapers have large pegs or weapons plunged into them that the witch herself climbs on. The sky is a blanket of clouds with silver lining and droplets of gold and silver and glass are suspended on chains like rain. The witch herself has an aggressive nature despite her small size, and can stretch like an accordion. The roots coming from the body can also reach and attack/climb like tendrils. Its familiars are toy mice with different flowers instead of eyes and wheat for fur. These familiars search for a way out of the labyrinth but can never find one, only leading around their witch to taller and taller skyscrapers. I apologize that these are also uncolored.

Oh boy I don’t want make this too long so here’s an image of Mitsu and Jundo but I won’t get into their stories n stuff. It’s complicated. All you need to know is that they’re in gay love <3 No witch concepts yet. Mitsu on the left, Jundo on the right.

Haru I’ve got very little on her that’s solid. She’s the youngest magi I have, contacted at 8/9 and currently 12, a veteran who’s every “party” she’s been a part of died. She has the ability to fly and scouts, but because she’s especially young others prioritize her safety, even when they are more at risk. No witch design yet.

Bluebell I made like forever ago for a contest, she is based on the legend of Bluebeard. Image ID for the photo in the Alt Text.

A very brief summary of her character is that she’s kind of a merge of Bluebeard and the 7th wife in a twisted bad way. She’s like a Kira deathnote type, who kills people she believes to be evil. Her wish was to know her boyfriends deepest secret, and upon learning he was a serial killer she killed him and starts using her power to kill other criminals, becoming the serial killer. Her morals quickly deteriorate and she becomes extremely judgmental, looking into people heads and taking their intrusive thoughts or any secrets they have and deciding if they should be punished or not. Because she spent her time enacting her “judgment”, detrimental to her magic and her mental health, she witchifies. Her witch is a gargoyle, a guard of nasty secrets. Some of its familiars are gossipers (similar to the uwasa spreaders in magireco) who follow rumors and upon finding someone with a nasty secret brings the other familiars, knights that bring anyone from inside or outside the labyrinth to the witch for their judgement. If they are judged unworthy by the gaze of the gargoyle they are impaled on the layers of fences and gates that guard the witch to set an “example”. I have no image of Bluebell as a magical girl that I am solid on soooo. Yeah. Just have the witch.. made yrs ago and also needs an update..

I don’t have a ton of info on her witch, but it’s familiars are like Mario style piranha plants and Venus fly traps with actual teeth l, fangs and molars, whose mouths are shut by belts, general dangerous plants you would find in a jungle, corpse flowers and pitcher plants, as well as monstress flies of varying sizes and mutation. The labyrinth is like a overgrown greenhouse with massive jungle plants.

Calm, sorrowful Yoshimoto has the ability to ground the lethal Kenshin when his violent tendencies get too much. They also would look gorgeous together ngl.

Motonari x Yoshimoto

Again, I feel like Yoshimoto has the ability to calm people and I feel like the unpredictable Motonari needs that & would get hooked on the man. Plus, pirates r a very homoerotic group, what with them being alone at sea w just each other for company (look it up! History is great) and Yoshi would be considered a great beauty among them-Motonari would be beating the other men off with a stick!

Motonari x Ranmaru

Idk abt personality wise but I had an idea for an au where Ranmaru pretends to be a cabin boy on Motonari's ship in order to get info and all the pirates r won over by his charming, idol-like persona-except Motonari. Ranmaru is determined to crack the man's devil may care facade, at first because of his mission but quickly changes to his own interest. Idk i just think that'd be neat :)

Mitsuhide x Ranmaru

Mitsuhide suspects Ranmaru's up to something and in order to find out the truth he gets closer to the lad. When Ranmaru is found out to be a traitor Mitsuhide is the one who must torture him but he can't bear to do it and lets him go. For Ranmaru's part he has fallen for the man and torn between his loyalty to his master and love for Mitsuhide. The angst is piping hot.

Keiji x Kanetsugu

Something definitely happened between these two while they were spying together 😏 no doubt abt it. This ship got that good enemies to friends to lovers vibe going on and I for one think they'd be a power couple.

Shingen x Kanetsugu

But what abt Kenshin?! you ask. Kanetsugu is definitely in love with his lord. And Shingen knows it. But that man would flirt with a pole. He has absolutely no scruples when it comes to flirting and loves trying to get a reaction out of Kanetsugu. He knows just the spots to poke too.

Ieyasu respects the man but thinks of him as too much of a flirt to take his advances seriously until one day Shingen snaps and...let's just say things escalate 😏👀

Kennyo x Yoshimoto

Idk they just compliment each other aesthetically. Rugged Kennyo vs beautiful porcelain doll Yoshimoto. They're both so calm and carry a dark burden i think they'd bond over.

Hi, again! I have to admit that the end of this chapter intrigued me quite a bit. I definitely wanna see where they’re going with Shinoa’s powers over demons. After a lot of time spent on angel flashbacks, it’s a good reminder that the humans have unique roles to play. I liked seeing the Shinoa squad, although spending time on crushes I’m not particularly invested in and making very vague, somewhat redundant plans was kinda boring. I enjoy some good girl talk, but I’m not particularly excited about having so many different groups working towards basically the same goal. It’s similar to what you pointed out about Saito still not siding with The First. It sorta seems as if everyone is stating similar values but personal issues are stopping them from just working together and actually accomplishing shit. Idk maybe it’s just me, but I think some of the most engaging and productive moments happened bc of the dynamics within the alliances. As of now, there’s at least 4 different factions, which truly seems unnecessary at this stage. Regardless of how happy an ending we get, I’d feel a bit unsatisfied if 1/4 groups succeeded at the expense of all the others failing. No matter which group it is, because they all have an interesting perspective and feel like protagonists in unique ways. I’m lowkey rooting for them all, so I’d really prefer if they could just compromise lol. I’m sure that solution is way too idealistic of me, but it’s not my fault Kagami wrote such sympathetic characters 😔

First off, oh my god! You remember! I didn’t expect that. At the time of posting this, yes, it would have been four days ago, but you sent this Tuesday so you were pretty spot on! Thank you so much! I did have an okay day!

I’m actually excited to see where Shinoa’s powers go as well! For quite some time now, the story has hyped Shinoa up as being special and ‘the perfect experiment’ or however it was phrased, but we’d had no real indication of it until now. It’s about time we shifted from tell to show. I’m hoping it gives her a bit more agency. However, I will say that Shinoa, or really rather how Kagami writes her, does disappoint me a bit in other ways, which leads me to the next thing you bring up.

I don’t hate Yuunoa. I don’t care for it either, but the fact that this chapter sorta confirms that Shinoa doesn’t have that much of a driving force outside of it makes me quite sad. You could argue that other Hiragis (Mahiru and Shinya) have a similar thing going on and they do, but there’s more than that, even if the story prefers bringing up Guren as their main motivation instead. Mahiru has the whole thing with wanting agency to live how she wants (which ties to Guren but I firmly believe can stand on its own) as well as wanting to protect Shinoa, as twisted as her methodology was. Shinya also had his goal of wanting to break free from the Hiragis before Guren became what he’d rather stand for. Being able to see that shift adds quite a bit of depth to that.

What else does Shinoa have going on really? As she says her she doesn’t feel like she has much reason for living, so she mind as well have this fight with Mitsu over Yuu be that driving force. You could say it’s similar to Yuu since he’s sorta said Mika is his reason for living, but I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of that either. I liked how Yuu was, at one point, able to somewhat move on and live for others (the Shinoa squad and Guren at the time) he was getting better in a way! But I don't want to rant for too long. End of the day, I kinda wish Shinoa had goals that didn't center around Yuu, even if she ended up dropping them at some point. As she said, she's really just been along for the ride her whole life.

It's nice to see Mitsu actually back and doing something though! Mitsu fans come get your food! I too wish they'd talked about something else, but what can you do I guess. It's just nice to see her. The focus hasn't been on her in SO long.

Now the whole Shinoa Squad being a new group. Yeaaaah this is driving me a bit insane as well. Weren't they just working with Guren, Mahiru, and Ferid? Why is that suddenly changing? I get that it's because they think them untrustworthy, and I get it to a degree, but it's exactly as you said. There's just SO many groups that are fighting for similar things that it's become kinda weird? Like... why did Guren and Mahiru even let the Shinoa Squad run off? They don't appear to be around, and I know that their priority is probably Yuu, but it feels weird that they're suddenly just elsewhere now when they were working together last we saw. It feels like we're missing something here. Anyways. I can't imagine these groups won't join up later, but the fact that we now have to follow 3 different groups (with there being 5 or maybe 6 factions atm) is going to make for an even more disjointed story. And that's one of the big problems with OnS. It's story is kind of all over the place and it can be difficult to follow with how much it jumps around and drops plot points and characters for no reason only to pick them up later like nothing happened. Nothing I've seen here instills me with confidence that this problem will get better.

That all being said, I didn't hate the chapter. Shinoa squad as a whole hasn't felt like they've been the main focus since the Nagoya arc and while I don't think we'll be following them for too long, it's about time they became more relevant. Maybe what I'm saying is a bit contradictory since I just complained about different factions, but hey, there's some pay off here with Shinoa and her abilities like I mentioned earlier, so idk. It's something.

Afterwards Sebastian scolded me 😭 but at least he didn’t flick my forehead hehe (those stuff hurt a lot)

i did cheese the reaper a while back. used thunder reign strat. was actually harder bc new moon rebalance nerfed the shock rate so its not 100% lol. but took advantage of its ai to get it stuck in a break skill loop (akihiko dekunda sweep) the money was nice, and i spent soooo much time in monad levelling personas. wont be able to do liz fight bc not doing ng+. (slightly related: ive played pee5 so many times and ive never actually tried the twins/lvnza/jose fights. vanilla 1 time, royal 1 time, royal again for a friends playthrough but its not ng+, ng+ for 100% royal but only up to exams...royal for another friend's playthru. lol)

Persona 3 Definitive Ideas

A compilation on things they could add to a definitive edition of Persona 3 (either via remake or remaster). If it starts with bold it’s a main point and starting with an italics is a man subpoint (unless it’s the gameplay mechanic side aka the first point, that one’s subsection gets it’s own little bolded section). Assume Journey for most of it, I tried to mention when I was talking about The Answer by itself. 

Edit: I started this a few months ago, decided to just re-read it and.....I cant think of anything else I want to add to it (probs will after I publish it, I’ve made this list like 1000 times now over and over).  

Edit 2: (lol found my old 2015 ver I made, it’s a lot smaller but still might be fun to look at and compare)

Now, in no particular order except to make it flow the best (aka it’s not a ranking on what needs to be in there at the top, it’s just one leads into the other and helps it stay organized...aka I want all of these):

Gameplay fighting Mechanic:

An option to have FES tactics or P3P party control and have it tailored to that balanced. “Silly the game still has the tactics setting in P3P!” Yeah I know, it’s even there in P4/G and P5!” (RIP to fellow fans who went two dungeons plus in P4 with your chars on “act freely” u_u I know your pain). But no, FES and P3P’s tactics aren’t balanced the same, tbh P3P party control isn’t 100% balanced as it could be. So it’d be an option menu setting, and by changing it (options being: “Tactics Only” and “Party Control option”, it’ll change the AI of the enemies. You can still do tactics in Party Control, but it won’t be balanced the same way as Tactics Only.

Give both MC’s the ability to wield multiple weapons again. Be it in Tactics Only mode or in general.

Make Fusions cost SP again: While I do think the items are a novel idea, maybe replace them with a diff special spell that’s not as powerful as a fusion spell. 

Add more fusion Spells for MC

Let teammates do fusion spells too: Don’t give me “team attack” BS whatever you called the P4G ones, those are fusion spells. Give me teammate fusion spells damnit! (I saw the Aki/Mitsu fusion spell with the Pachinko machine Atlus, you can hide it from me!)

More ways to level up stats and gain SL points. We can do this a few different ways:

Add dialogue in places that’ll boost stat points. This is something P4 had ABUNDANCE of and it was really fun. P5 nerf’d it sadly. This should be easy since they could just add it to existing dialogue (ex: getting all of Yukari’s Answers to the Fuuka rumor correct raises knowledge, or picking a flirty option when you first meet Aigis gives you an increase to “charm”

Making/brining lunch and having it together, eating at the cafe together, same for dinner, or having karaoke night, introduce a hot spring/communal bath area, invite to movies (outside the movie week thing), or do a fortune/prayer that just costs money but not time (or have it available at night since there’s a lot of dead space at night). You know in P4/5 stuff. 

Add more (fluff/filler/fun) events. Now that we’ve solved the tight sched issue out of the way as seen above), now we can add more bonding moments. Optional and mandatory (tho I’d prefer most be option, unless the mandatory ones don’t take a time block away).

Maybe stuff that was Anime (or manga) exclusive. ex: P3 2nd movie has Makoto hanging with Shinji/Ken/Aigis for the summer festival (well I guess in this case, they just add a new unlockable event for that existing bigger event)

Get rid of certain mandatory events: There is really only like...one event I can think of, and it’s Mitsuru’s mandatory study/summer school event (the other would be a sports team event, but we could tweak it to giving you something additional in return). It’s a waste of time, esp if you’ve already maxed your knowledge (ESP on NG+). If the player has been getting top rank on exams and/or has max knowledge up to that point, we should be excluded. 

Incorporate the Phone games. Tied to the “add more events,” but it doesn’t exactly mean that we’ll have them incorporated into the story’s events (aka stopping the story flow during the Yakushima trip to incorporate Persona 3 EM). Luckily, both FES/P3P/P4G introduced ideas we can use to be able to access this content without breaking the story’s flow. We can (bolded games are the more meaty ones we’d probably want):

1) Pull an FES where it’s a separate game mode ala The Journey vs The Answer. (games that would fit this: Aigis’ First Mission and P3 EM)

2) Pull a P3P where it’s a new door in the Vision Quest Room....or just add another door to Tartarus like Vision Quest/Monad Depths. (games that would fit this: Persona 3 EM)

3) Pull a P4G: it’s a mode you can access within your playfile once you’ve unlocked it (aka the little trivia game) (Games that would fit this: P3 Escape, P3 The Night Before, QIX, Chaining Soul, Illust Puzzle, P3 CR/Pachinko exclusive events)

Add a Female Version of the Answer. Self explanatory. Considering this game is based heavily on a “butterfly effect,” and while it does have a lot of differences, The Answer is def the best place to showcase some of the BIGGER changes this effect has. Aka, it’s not a 1:1 same thing as the male’s and thus has it’s own merit of existing. Hell, Atlus could even use it to tease future titles. XP

Updates to the Answer in general: 

Add a goddamn compendium!

NG+

Difficulty setting (”Boo Silly! You just want it easier!” Ok but what if they could make it harder too? Ah got you now.)

A new unique persona or two (prime Personas? unlocked after seeing their past? special Athena fusable on NG+) (*see more on prime personas below in the “new Personas” portion)

Vision Quest (I’m a fan of Vision Quest and other fun stuff like the VR Challenges in P5R...but the setting is def the Vision quest, you can add P5R challenges type stuff in there)

Add more SLs to both Male and Female. This doesn’t exactly mean new characters. It can be.....

Allowing them to SL with each other’s exclusive SL’s. You can think of it something like....What P4 did with Sun and Strength, you have a choice. Basically, male can SL with people that were originally FeMC exclusive and vice versa. The caveat is it might be harder to start that other SL. (ex: Hamu has to go to a store to buy a gaming station and the game to SL with Toriumi, and it has a fairly steep financial barrier so it might be better for her to go with Saori). I would also say maybe Rio/Saori aren’t......date-able for reasons in their SL, and they probs act differently compared to their FeMC!Side counterparts (cause they are talking to a boy). Regardless, we see a different side to these characters so it’d make it worth wild to SL them on both sides. But most importantly, it means MaleMC can SL with Junpei/Aki/Ken/Shinji/Ryoji! Maybe he can’t save Shinji (that’s the beauty of the butterfly effect) but you can still see a new side of him and have different SL compared to the FeMC!

New chars to SL: A Fem!Pharos/Fem!Ryoji (always found it weird that Pharos/Ryo looked the same on both sides, it be a choice on the FeMC’s side like with Liz/Theo....like in the title screen when you select her the game could be like “you feel a strange energy within you, does it feel more feminineor more masculine?” and there we go). It’s a what if let me vibe!

A pen pal (or it can be a new online friend tbh) who’s arcana is “Fool 22,” was originally going to be a Your Name/super natural pen pal thing but maybe instead it’s the non SEES leader version of the MC you didn’t choose. Half I want some variation of the MCs to interact but also......setting up future sequels maybe? 8U

Edit (see I knew I’d forget something): SL with Strega. Similar to Fool 22 and Male!Hermit, an online friend. Strega members deserve to be more fleshed out. Plus iirc P3P artbook made blogs for all the chars, so an online friend thing could really work.

New Romances: Mainly for FeMC, her well is dry for stable romances (the only two who stick around the entire time with additional events is Aki and Ken....Ken....KEN! Whyyy???) Just let Hidehiko be optional, or give us another char, or Mamoru. MC is swimming in romance options, and for reasons I don’t think he’d be able to romance Rio/Saori (one likes his friend, the other is hella gay for FeMC but the possibility is there for Saori at least, P3 is def the ‘stan the bisexuals” the game). Not against more romance options for MaleMC, but I think we can all agree FeMC is hurting bad. ;w;

Friend Routes for the MaleMC: self explanatory. “But I liked the force romances, I don’t want to friend them.” Ok strange, strange straw man I’ve made up, but consider....more content! Just in general! And you can choose not to! :D If you still wanna be a gigolo then more power to you!

More cheating route repercussions. Add what was in Vanilla/FES back in (P3P doesn’t really have it/removed a lot of it). Bring the jealousy mechanic back...BUT ONLY for romance flagged routes (otherwise it doesn’t exist, we don’t need “Kenji’s sad you haven’t hung out in like 3 months BS). Add a Christmas event too ....maybe Valentines day (they may have “forgotten” a lot of things, but the convos when you say “bye” to the SLs show you dated them so.... 8U I’d say it’s possible).

Add a few more romantic SL events for Aigis:  You have no additional spend time option with her. No Christmas event. It’s mostly the former, but just adding another extra event would be nice (I know the narrative and story importance favors her heavily as a romance option, and I’m not complaining, but I’d like.....to have the ability to reciprocate her more).

More SL events: Think the fun extra/optional dialogues you get if you talk to an SL at night in P4G. Obvie you’ll get points for hanging out with them.

More optional run-in events: Not really relating to SLs. Example, when you go shopping with Dojima in P4G and you overhear other SLs talking to each other (such as Yukiko/Kanji and if she should dye her hair)

New Personas: I’d say more relating to NYX, maybe only the male can unlock certain ones and vice versa (but they can both be saved in the compendium and thus the other can use them on NG+, similar to the dual Orpheus’)

Prime Personas for party members: instead of 3rd tier personas (cause due to how P3 chars get their 2nd tiers it will cause problems for future entries, at least we can BS reason and say that “prime is a temporary change” or some BS), instead they’d get prime personas that are tied to SL stuff rather than their overall main resolve. They’ll get a prime persona with one new special ability. Prime can evolve into prime so it’s possible to miss seeing a normal 2nd tier or never seeing a prime first tier. Here’s an example

Junpei (if you are fast enough to max him before his story roadblock and thus before his story evolution): Hermes->Hermes Prime-> Trismegistus Prime.

Aigis (can’t be maxed before evolution): Palladion->Athena->Athena prime (or call it Pallas Athena, or you can save Pallas for The Answer)

P5/R’s Picaro Persona versions (purely cause they made the models kldsj;fa)
