I have an album recommendation for people interested in Greek mythology or even ancient mithology in general.

It is not a very well-known album and since it is by a Spanish artist. If you are from outside Spain I don't think it is very likely that you know it and if you are not from a Spanish-speaking country I see it practically impossible, but it is a very good album, which uses Greek mythology (although there are some references to others as well) as a common thread, sometimes quite literally and other times more metaphorically. I am talking about the album "Quimera" (2019) by Alba Reche, whose cover is the image that appears after this paragraph

Speaking a little more in depth about the album. It is a fairly calm album, which could be classified as alternative music, with a much more acoustic first half, with guitar, piano and very soft percussion, where the artist's voice stands out more than anything and there are several ballads, and a much more electronic second part, although without ever losing the aura of tranquility that characterizes the album.

As for the theme, broadly speaking I would say that it is an album that talks about different types of love, such as "hestia", which is about brotherly love, exemplified by the artist's love for her sister, although there are some exceptions, such as "ares", which as can be guessed from the title talks about war or "asteria", which is a fairly literal transcription of the myth in question. In case you are curious about anything related to the theme of the album, the artist has a half-hour long video on her YouTube channel explaining everything in detail.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite albums and I am very sorry that it is so underrated (largely because it is the debut). Kisses and thank you very much for having come this far.

Can I just say, I really appreciate how Critical Role plays the Devil trope straight. There's been this phenomena in a lot of modern media (I'm not going to mention specifics but I'm sure a few examples pop up in people's minds) where Hell and the Devil aren't scary or malevolent forces. Hell is portrayed as being basically the same as our world just "edgier", and the Devil is a pretty decent guy actually. Heaven are secretly the real bad guys!

But Critical Role doesn't do that. In Exandria, Asmodeus *feels* like the Devil. He's malevolent and manipulative and terrifyingly powerful and he hates you, personally. We never see that type of portrayal anymore! And it's amazing! And he still manages to be sympathetic and tragic without losing his edge!

And the "Good Gods" are portrayed as flawed without being secretly evil or something! Like, actual nuance? In my Heaven/Hell dichotomy? What!?

It's just such a breath of fresh air after so many "The Devil was right, actually" stories. So props to Matt and Brennan and the cast.

Ghost King Danny but instead of mistaking him as a thousand years old ghost everyone knows he's a teenage boy. So everyone assumes he won't be able to keep it in his pants when beautiful women are offered as sacrifices.

Danny hates this and tries to help the best he can by either getting them home, finding new homes or giving them money to get home by themselves because they understandably don't trust him.

But there are some who latch onto him because he is the only one who showed them kindness and promised safety. And he can't just leave them all alone. So with the help of Pandora they create a safe haven for them. He visits them every now and again and Pandora decided to stay with them.
