I am 43 — aside from a few cavities that were filled & impacted wisdom teeth removed at 19 — I have never had any other work done.

My dentist dismissed my concerns, briefly pointed towards my Xray, said that a previous cavity I had filled was approaching the nerve.

Root canal & crown end of story.

No, I dont think so — I have already stopped taking prescription medication for arthritis and instead use CBD cream, heat pads, yoga, walking.

I self regulate my emotions through shadow work, somatic work, subconscious work, breathwork, energy work, reiki, movement, journalling, art, being in nature, etc.

I dont take any OTC medications but sometimes have debilitating pressure headaches that cause sensitivity to light & noise & sinus pain. I turn off all lights, I always have a completely silent environment during the day all week inside my apartment, I get off my phone & Macbook, I go for a walk, spend time in nature, do yoga, make herbal tea, drink water.

If I feel like I have a cold, I take organic cough drops, eat hot broth, rest, walk outside, herbal tea, lots of water. I dont take any OTC medication.

When my period cramps & lower back hurt, I drink tea & water & use heat packs. I dont take OTC medication.

I questioned why my teeth would be any different and was pleasantly surprised to see that holistic dentists exist that shared my disgust over root canals and the state of dentistry and the rest of the western medical industrial complex.

I found an Usui reiki master, holistic dentist with her PhD from Rutgers who is also a tarot card reader that focused on minimizing sugar intake & dietary changes - diet & lifestyle, brushing flossing mouth guards if grinding is an issue pulling oil - maintaining dental health as well as regular check ups - preventative proactiveness.

She also utilizes 3D cone xrays, not limited 2D & does alternative treatments like oxidization and her stated goal on her website is for patients to realize they have the power to heal themselves and she only assists when absolutely medically necessary and takes a minimal approach to any kind of interventions.

The opposite of “modern dentistry” and the modern medical industrial complex that feeds itself off of pain, misery, lies & death.

Weeks later, she was still unable to chew or close her mouth all the way after root canal & crown placement. She wore a splint for two weeks, absolutely zero relief. She is unable to bite down or close her mouth all the way without debilitating agonizing pain.

For two months! She has been unable to chew food on the left side or close her mouth all the way.

Dentist ordered Xrays & there are zero signs of infection — she is STILL being told to do yet ANOTHER root canal!

When we were in England a doctor recommended my partner go see a chiropractor for lower back pain and I was like NO ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT FUCKING DOCTOR TOLD YOU THAT JFC. Bc I was way, way more familiar with the scene in America due to Being Online.

But the person my partner saw was actually basically just a physio + massage therapist specialising in back problems.

But! The UK very much does still have the quacks! And bc of the centralised nature of the NHS, and the higher* standards in terms of what the NHS funds (the NHS, for example, stopped funding Homeopathy whereas health insurances companies in other countries *glares at Germany* all still cover this shit despite it being bullshit), I think people in the UK have a slightly more good-faith assumption about medicine stuff. They’re not used to having to do as much research into whether the specialist your doctor just recommended was trained in bullshit ghost medicine.

But for the love of god no matter where you are never assume that a chiropractor is a medical expert. If you’re considering seeing someone ask them what they think they can help with, and ask them what they think the term ‘subluxation’ means bc it means something different for chiropractics than it does for actual doctors and if their answer to the first question is more than ��hopefully your back pain’ and the answer to the second is not ‘an incomplete or partial dislocation of a joint or organ’ then fucking run.

* it’s a low bar and I’m not saying they leap over it, here. From a very brief search I think there is like, currently one place in the UK where the NHS “funds” a Reiki healer, and it’s actually because some bullshit reiki charity is funding the position. And I hate hate hate hate it bc like COME ON. The OBVIOUS goal here is to give the veneer of legitimacy WHY ARE YOU ALLOWING THIS. But it’s still a lot better than the situation in, e.g. America and Germany.

Capricorn full moon 🌕 on July 3rd

is still doing it's work.

...What else what you expect from a Capricorn?

Only yesterday in reflection on it with a dear Capricorn (Capi) friend did I think to look on the placement in my chart for my Capricorn energy.

My Capi is in the 6th house in Neptune.

I decided to write it out just now though I've been ruminating on it and had since discovered in my own journey with my chart that I had yet to decipher Neptune in this house.

6th House representing our relationship to our bodies, mental, physical, & spiritual health. Our relationship to work and daily rituals. Natal house ruler being Mercury & Virgo.

In its natural order the god of communication,travel, and quick wit would govern this house of processes with clear boundaries, communication above all and flow. Nothing would be still. Here I imagine Virgo the feminine aspect of Mercury to usher in rituals of bathing, cleansing, and beauty. She would also guide on plans of the day, schedules, appointments, learning, practicing, preparation, training, and restoration. In all aspects both leave no ground uncovered; body, mind, and soul are thoroughly attended.

With Capricorn here for me, on its shadow aspects, it may focus too much on one thing it finds undesirable. Distracted with this one or several things leaving no time for all others causing imbalance. Too harsh, Unemotional, cold, extreme. I can ask for help here with more Virgo energy in balance & planning.

For the other aspect of Neptune being here in the 6th house: Neptune the god of the Sea, the realm of the unconscious and door to the spirit/ dream world. I can see how Pisces would represent its feminine aspects. Other aspects of this planet and sign are immense idealism, grandiose dreams, Powerful emotions, depths, secrets, nightmares, the weight of incredible power, the realm of the subconscious, and access to source.

What do these aspects bring to the 6th house?

Neptune will influence every aspect of this house as it is all consuming like the 🌊 ocean.

So the main aspects of this house as a place of rituals, planning, and preparation are very much like a med spa. Reminding me of the time we went to King Spa, a Korean Spa with meditation sweat rooms, pools, massages, saunas, and relaxation rooms.

At my current age and capacity this makes a lot of sense, but as a child, teen, & young adult, this was very confusing. ( Cancer szn& Cancer axis opposite Capricorn).

Back to why Capricorn is here. Going with my hunch that the signs are the feminine aspects of the planets 🪐; Cap is then fem of Saturn. The god of time.

Capricorn in its medicine will help drive the energy towards the goal/ completion. She will motivate, she will plan, she will make goals, she will get her hands dirty in the process as she leads she will also bare the laborious work. She has been patiently waiting for me to see her.

It is at this point I must realize bath house energy is not for everyone and why when in my presence some wilt like a flower in the heat.

Or getting a training in something very specific. Potentially something involving spirituality. Like taking reiki courses or tarot reading lessons. So I feel this person is a teacher or a mentor to you. With the Bismuth card, I feel like this person will be opening doors for you. And that could be litteral because the door of my room opened out of nowhere as I was trying to get more information from the card. Higher perspective is related to Ether. This means to me that you will meet at a point in your life when you wish to evolve, to embody a better version of yourself and seek to gain knowledge or power.

WHERE? - King of cups / The Explorer / Malachite : claim your success.

We already had kind of a hint with the previous section. And I feel like it’s further confirmed by these cards, especially the Malachite card. Now if we talk about geographical indicators, water seems to be relevant. Also on the Explorer card there’s a compass. So it tells me that where you meet them, there is either a plan or something related to navigation or orientation. Also when looking at this card I heard "you already know where to find them". So it gives me the strong feeling that many of you already know this person and already met them. It’s just that you didn’t consider them your FS. Also the malachite card mentions the workspace. So you could work together. Or you’re doing the same job and you go to them for advice. Also the king of cups card depicts a man sitting on a thrown spilling water in an ocean of sharks. So this also tells me there’s a lot of competition where you meet. And it’s like this person is trying to educate or heal the sharks somehow.

I asked for a card to clarify the Queen of swords and I got the 9 of pentacles. So law and money are involved. So maybe a bank or an insurance company. Or somewhere businesses and entrepreneurs go to get advice on how to invest their money or know if something they intend to do is legal or not.
