Dear Wendy, my debut young adult novel about two aromantic asexual college students giving love advice to their peers, releases on April 16, 2024!
Preorder: bit.ly/dearwendy
Preorder campaign (for the two art prints designed by maiahee_): bit.ly/dearwendypreorder
Events (including virtual and in-person): annzhao.com/events
Full description below the cut!
Dear Wendy's Sophie and Jo, two aromantic and asexual college students, engage in an online feud while unknowingly becoming friends in real life, in this dual POV Young Adult contemporary debut from Ann Zhao
Sophie Chi is in her first year of college (though her parents wish she'd attend a “real” university rather than a liberal arts school) and has long accepted her aroace (aromantic and asexual) identity. She knows she’ll never fall in love, but she enjoys running an Instagram account that offers relationship advice to students at her school. No one except her roommate can know that she’s behind the incredibly popular “Dear Wendy” account.
When Joanna “Jo” Ephron (also a first-year aroace college student) created their “Sincerely Wanda” account, it wasn’t at all meant to take off or be taken seriously—not like Wendy’s. But now they might have a rivalry of sorts with Wendy’s account? Oops. As if Jo’s not busy enough having existential crises over gender identity, whether she’ll ever truly be loved, and the possibility of her few friends finding The One then forgetting her!
While tensions are rising online, Sophie and Jo grow closer in real life, especially once they realize their shared aroace identity and start a campus organization for other a-spec students. Will their friendship survive if they learn just who’s behind the Wendy and Wanda accounts?
Exploring a-spec identities, college life, and more, while perfect for fans of Alice Oseman’s Loveless, this is ultimately a love story about two people who are not—and will not—be in love!

Hey, I love your account!❤️ I started my journey of being the highest version of myself. I wanted to ask some tips on how to be more intelligent and do you have some suggestions on podcasts, people you can follow that active on politics/history? English isn’t my native language.
Thanks! ❤️
Hi love! Thank you so much <333 I can't think of any specific podcasts/blogs at the moment, but sharing some other advice below. Bisous xx
Here are some of my tips:
Read books, articles, blogs, studies, and journals from credible & fact-checked sources
Watch & listen to evidence-based documentaries and podcasts
Take expert-backed courses and classes (from universities, industry leaders/certified organizations)
Attend forums/lectures from industry leaders museums, libraries, etc. (Virtually or in-person)
Talk to people in different fields and from different walks of life
Travel (globally, domestically, or locally), explore museums, parks, and stores in your area
Ask for feedback on your creative or skill-based projects and work; or insights from trusted people in your life on different situations in your life, from your past, or their greatest life lessons
Remain curious and diligent regarding your pursuit of knowledge. Live as a lifelong student
For emotional intelligence:
Embrace self-awareness & self-reflection: Observe how you feel, behave, and how people generally respond to your words/actions in different situations
Practice self-regulation: Learn to differentiate between your feelings and the actions that would be appropriate in a specific setting or interaction. Internalize that feelings are fleeting and non-factual. You're in control of how you respond/(don't) act on these emotions
Engage in active listening: Pay attention to what others are saying with the intent of understanding, not responding
Focus on emotional differentiation: Understand where your thoughts, feelings, intentions, and opinions end and another person's identity/perception begins
Display radical empathy and acceptance: Understand that almost all people's words and actions result from their own beliefs, past experiences, and current life circumstances/priorities. Put yourself in their shoes when attempting to understand their choices, behaviors, and times they come to you to discuss a problem, success, or major life decision. Accept that you can only control what you do. Very little of other people's actions/the world's workings are personal. Things are happening around you, not to you
Let go of your ego: View yourself as objectively as possible with the potential for improvement. Abolish any superior complex or overwhelming desire to prove your self-importance in others' lives and decisions
Remain open-minded: Question your own beliefs and opinions. Stay curious as to why you believe them to be true/authentic to you. Allow your opinions to change or have the capacity to modify your beliefs upon hearing new information. Understand your worldview and values are valid, but they're not definitively correct beliefs, just because they resonate/feel comfortable for you
Be receptive to feedback: Embrace constructive criticism as a self-improvement tool. Approach it with curiosity and optimism, not as a personal attack
Differentiate between your feelings and capabilities: Your thoughts are not facts. Remember you can do things you don't feel like doing most of the time (work, waking up in the morning, working out, etc.). Learn the difference between being a slave to your emotions and genuinely running out of energy

Hi, this is just to spring off of another TLOU blog’s post, which I thought was aptly worded: Please find that post here! and please find the original twitter thread on Pro-Palestinian resources here!
I just wanted touch on how inappropriate it is to use a genocide as an excuse to morally posture over other people in our community because you’re itching to play an own ego-stroking game of ‘whose a better activist than who.’
Outside of the strikes, and days dedicated to raising awareness coming here to say asinine, innapropriate comments such as “Y’all can’t stop posting about pixel pussy?!” Is extremely unhelpful and is just something that sows undue resentment in our community. When you do things like that, we know what you’re really saying, and it’s not nice. What you’re really saying is “You guys are shitty people for still having any remaining vested interested in this community, unlike me, someone whose an enlightened online activist. I’m above caring about that childish little 2D lesbian and the sapphic community it brought forth, despite the fact that my initial interest in her is why I was ever even apart of this community I’m mocking to begin with. I’ll pretend my corrosive virtual-signalling insults and jabs are coming from a ‘good place,’ and aren’t rooted in being self-serving at all! I’ll pretend that I’m not using this genocide as a vehicle to stroke my own ego for rising above ‘petty, immature things’ like sapphic media, sexuality and community. I’m highkey so much better than you all, I’ll just refuse to admit that outright. Instead I’ll continue to subtly mock your intelligence and distract away from helpful posts about this genocide, and hope you won’t see what I’m doing for what it is. My favourite activity during genocide is not to educate people and commit myself to Palestinian liberation, but rather throw stones, hide my hands and demean well-intentioned posts just because it makes me feel good. Realistically, not one person in Gaza was tangibly helped by the insults I left in the TLOU tags for people to see, but I won’t stop because I’m just a girl….obviously.”
Hey, listen: I’ve been to protests where the organizers, MY PEERS, were other university students who were 18-22, who have had the diligence to remind everyone in the crowd to NOT ENGAGE WITH ZIONISTS. Why? Because it wasn’t safe, because their goal was to inspire a conflict in what is intended to be a united camaraderie in support of PALESTINE 🇵🇸. If those young adults can keep steadfast to their goal of mobilizing for Palestine, then I believe these bad faith actors on TLOU tumblr should learn not to sow shame in people for simply posting a drabble (when not striking) in a community whose fiction they lavished the fruits of, not too long ago. Why? Because it’s not helpful. Because instead of posting helpful resources to aid Palestinians and educating your followers on the zionist Neil Druckman, and to remain mindful of the Zionist themes in the game, you’re using that voice, the tlou tags and it’s reach, just to demean people. It’s such a wasted opportunity to speak up. Hey, if you’re going to say anything in regards to Palestine, then say something helpful to them! That’s an easy enough ask. The yellow jacket community on twitter figured out what pro-revolutionary activism looked like as a community, and I’m proud of them.
I’ll put this in the Ellie x reader tags because I know people who say things like that, either tend to frequent the tags or the tumblr algorithm will push it because of their interests.

Disney’s Twisted Wonderland: NRC Magic Assault Practice with Crowley Episode 1- Orientation Translations
“I am Night Raven College’s Headmage, so it is without a doubt that I am strong. Terribly so, in fact, so you’d best be prepared.” *Spoiler free: Translations will remain under cut*
Event EP 1 / Event EP 2 / SSR / Album Lines
Tumblr media
Crowley: I see that you have all gathered. I’m happy to see that you’re all here on time.
Crowley: Now then, let’s start your practical training orientation, a compulsory subject that you are required to take… Oh, wait!
Crowley: Hear me out first. I recently went to the town at the foot of the mountain.
Crowley: I’d heard that a store specializing in gibier cuisine had opened there, and I just couldn’t sit still.
Tumblr media
Crowley: I waited in line for three hours, and I wasn’t quite sure whether it constituted lunch or dinner by the time I got in, but… I must say, it was very delicious, indeed!
Crowley: Did you know? Gibier refers to the game meet, and as such, comes in many different varieties…
Crowley: If not properly processed, the meat will smell and be too tough. Hence, the art of processing game requires a skilled hand, honed through many years of experience.
Crowley: It also requires a lot of spontaneous decision-making on the spot, so this skill isn’t something that can be learned and attained overnight.
Crowley: What an exquisite art form! Fascinating, wouldn’t you say?
Tumblr media
Crowley: …Excuse me, why do you all look so uninterested in what I’m saying? This has to do with all of you as well!
Crowley: It’s important to have the ability to make spontaneous decisions based on experience. This applies to mages as well.
Crowley: And the reason why practical training is a compulsory subject is because actual combat experience is what makes an excellent mage.
Crowley: Therefore, I’d like all students to participate knowing the importance of this lesson.
Crowley: “An all-out magic brawl seems fun.” You’ll be in for a hard time if you think lightly of this class!
Crowley: Ahem… And there you have it. Now then, allow me to explain the basics of this class once more.
Crowley: This practical training class is where you’ll be putting the knowledge and skills you’ve learned in practical magic to use.
Crowley: We will be moving to the Coliseum where a virtual arena has been set up. There, you will all be made to make full use of your abilities, pushing them to their limits.
Crowley: Everything that goes on in there will be monitored, and I will personally judge just how effective your day-to-day studies have been when put into practical use.
Crowley: …Hm? Is there really a need to carry this out in a virtual arena, you say?
Crowley: BUT OF COURSE!!!
Tumblr media
Crowley: It is true that past practical training sessions have been held outside of school grounds, such as uninhabited islands or locations that the school has specially rented for the sole purpose of hosting it, but…
Crowley: There have been past incidents of students going missing and taking advantage of the teachers’ blind spots to circumvent supervision!
Crowley: Students dissatisfied with their teachers have also engaged in full-out brawls… In short, it’s more trouble than it’s worth.
Crowley: Huff… huff… Anyway, there’s no longer any need for us to travel that far away from school grounds now.
Crowley: Magical projector tech has greatly improved in recent years, and it has now become possible to virtually recreate areas and enemies alike.
Crowley: With this, we can now cross deserts, forest bathe, and even walk across the ocean floor in the comfort of our own homes. Canceling plans due to bad weather is now a thing of the past!
Tumblr media
Crowley: There was many an occasion where we had to postpone it due to sudden storms and blizzards… so we should all be thankful for technological advancements!
Crowley: In any case, since this training is going to be taking place within a virtual arena, you will all be fighting a virtual enemy created by the magical projector.
Crowley: An enemy… modeled after me, Dire Crowley!
Crowley: Taking everyone’s safety into consideration, my virtual clone’s magical abilities have been limited. Although it is a far cry from my original capabilities…
Crowley: I am Night Raven College’s Headmage, so it is without a doubt that I am strong. Terribly so, in fact, so you’d best be prepared.
Crowley: …Heh. I know what everyone’s thinking. “Even with the limit, the hurdle’s still way too high!” …Right?
Crowley: That’s true. However, if you work hard to overcome this hurdle, your efforts will certainly bear fruit.
Crowley: Well then, steel yourself, for practical training is now in session!
Tumblr media
Crowley: Now, show me how wonderfully you’ll all overcome the challenges in this special lesson from yours truly!!!

This bruising presidential election is finally over, and it has taken a toll on our country and all of us in it. In particular, our youth have witnessed growing polarization and political vitriol, and they were already in a bad way, facing unprecedented levels of mental health problems. Schools have a major role to play in supporting them as we move forward. One way they can do this, and contribute to strengthening our democracy, is to engage students in civic reasoning and discourse at school.
The National Academy of Education defines civic reasoning and discourse as the rigorous examination of evidence and multiple perspectives around meaningful personal and societal issues to seek consensus or compromise on the issues through discussion and debate. These are essential capacities youth must develop to sustain a functioning and equitable democratic society, and so should be among the central aims of education—now more than ever. Additionally, new research shows that, because it is at once cognitively difficult and deeply emotionally powerful, engaging in civic reasoning supports healthy brain development in adolescents, which in turn predicts life satisfaction and achievement in young adulthood.
But what does civic reasoning and discourse look like in classrooms? One example is when a group of eighth graders in New York City and another in rural Virginia come together through writing letters and virtual meet-ups. As they learn about each other’s daily lives, they begin to see how “blue” and “red” communities in this country are similar and how they are different. By the end of the unit, they have read common texts and critically explored their perspectives on a topic that is important to them, such as gun rights.
Another example is when high school math students in Los Angeles apply statistical methods to a social issue they’ve identified, such as income and wealth distribution. They analyze trends over time and look at variables such as geographic location and workers’ rights laws in different states, as well as people’s education levels, gender, race and ethnicity. They present and debate what they find, which leads to deeper discussions about the values and intentions behind policies.
Aside from the academic and social skills students are building through this work, why are these classroom experiences so formative and essential for students? Civic reasoning develops youths’ abilities to think about the broader and longer-term implications of situations and issues. Such reasoning helps students think about multiple perspectives on issues and to wrestle with the complexity of real-world situations. And it does so in a way that feels deeply personally meaningful to youth. Civic reasoning, in other words, relies on what we are calling “transcendent” thinking—thinking that moves students to transcend current circumstances and specifics to search for deeper understanding, personal relevance, and possible solutions.
At the USC Center for Affective Neuroscience, Development, Learning and Education (CANDLE) we are showing that transcendent thinking also shapes brain development in beneficial ways. In a five-year study published in Scientific Reports, we interviewed 65 diverse high school students about their reactions to true stories of teens’ compelling situations around the world. We also scanned the students’ brains that day, and again two years later, and followed the students into young adulthood. The more the students reflected on the bigger civic issues at stake–that is, the more they demonstrated transcendent thinking and reported being strongly emotionally engaged–the more the students had grown their brains when they returned for the second scan. In turn, those students who grew their brains more, from the first to the second neuroimaging scan, showed stronger identity development in their late teen years, measured as the degree to which a teen reported that they think about who they are and what they stand for, and about the kind of adult they would like to become. As young adults, they reported better life satisfaction, relationships, and achievement. Importantly, the results of our study were not related to IQ, socio-economic status, gender, or ethnic background.
This brain growth likely happens because, as teens reflect on civic issues, they coordinate brain systems involved in focused attention and planning, memory, emotion, and reflection—the same brain networks involved in creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, learning, self-awareness, self-control, and ethical judgment. Notably, the patterns of brain growth identified seem to be the opposite of patterns associated in recent clinical research with adolescents’ development of mood disorders, depression, and anxiety. This may also be why the students’ transcendent thinking in our study helped to protect their brains against the negative impacts of witnessing neighborhood violence and crime. Ultimately, transcendent thinking for the teen brain may be like physical exercise for the body: The more they do it, the more they strengthen their social and cognitive skills, which also produces a myriad of collateral benefits.
With such clear benefits to our teens and to our civic landscape, we owe it to ourselves, to our youth, and to our country, to build more opportunities for civic reasoning and discourse into America’s schools. You may be thinking that our culture wars have already overtaken school board meetings and that “the other side” would never go for this. But everyone wants their voice to be heard, and their identities and experiences to be understood and valued. Our youth desperately want this too, and schools can help them share, empathize, and learn across their differences while critically examining issues that matter to them and to our collective future. Even if we can’t imagine ourselves having these conversations right now as adults, this is our time to step back from the brink–to let our youth think transcendently and take on the conversations that will secure the future of our democracy.

Trines and Lazyness
Tumblr media
To the siren @shystarlightfan,
Trine aspects generally usher in harmonious and flowing energy between planets, often indicating the presence of natural talents and an innate ease in specific areas of life. While they don't necessarily induce laziness in a person, they can sometimes foster a sense of comfort or complacency if not consciously harnessed.
Now, let's delve into my cherished analogies. Imagine yourself in a classroom. Here, the teacher represents a planet, while the students sitting in the front row directly facing the teacher are in conjunction with them. Those in the back of the class are in opposition, while the middle-seated students find themselves in a square aspect. As for the individuals stationed in the corners who silently accomplish their tasks, they find themselves in sextile and trine aspects. Those who are conjunct with the teacher will interact directly, whether they like it or not. The group situated at the back will forever be discussed and remembered for being noisy and a trouble for the teacher, the middle is quite good but more bad... but what about those diligent students who excel without uttering a word? They often slip the teacher's memory... Understanding the essence of trigones and sextiles lies in recognizing that despite their competence and excellence, they remain somewhat unnoticed, lacking the extra attention showered upon others.
Your Aquarius Sun positioned in the 5th house indicates a creative and innovative approach to self-expression and enjoyment. Furthermore, the Gemini Moon residing in the 9th house signifies a profound emotional attachment to learning, travel, and the exploration of novel ideas. With the Virgo Rising lending a practical and analytical touch, your ability to focus on details and refine your communication is significantly enhanced.
The synergy of your Aquarius Sun (5th house), Gemini Moon (9th house), and Virgo Rising bestows upon you a distinctive blend of air energy within your birth chart. This blend fosters intellectual curiosity, sharp communication skills, and a fervent desire to comprehend the intricacies of the world around you. The trine aspects connecting these celestial bodies indeed facilitate a natural flow of energy, enabling you to effortlessly link concepts, articulate your thoughts, and adeptly maneuver through various situations.
Venus Return in Rx in Leo
Tumblr media
To the siren @sayaliii,
Venus Returns occur approximately every year, marking significant periods of self-reflection and potential shifts in matters related to love, beauty, creativity, and personal values.
Have you ever pondered the concept of divine timing? Just as there are items we purchase that arrive via delivery, there are also things we acquire through the virtual realm that require us to physically retrieve them. Both scenarios unfold, yet one necessitates our active engagement. I present this analogy for your contemplation: Will the glow-up you seek be conveniently delivered to your doorstep, or must you venture out to acquire it? Now, talking just as Julia. Is your desired glow-up related to your appearance? Could it pertain to your self-esteem, friendships, or even academic pursuits?
Considering your Natal Venus in Leo, positioned in the 1st house, you exude a natural charm, creativity, and an ardent yearning for self-expression. The influence of Leo infuses a touch of drama and flair into your personal style, ensuring you stand out within social circles. Currently, Venus finds itself in retrograde during your Venus Return, indicating a phase of introspection and review in the domains mentioned earlier.
Furthermore, given that Leo governs your 2nd house cusp—a sphere encompassing finances, possessions, and self-worth—an opportunity for reevaluation emerges. This entails assessing your material values and the manner in which you derive self-worth from your resources and belongings. Such an endeavor may encompass a scrutiny of spending patterns, a reassessment of priorities, and an exploration of the intricate connection between self-esteem and the material realm.
A Venus Return intertwined with a retrograde phase frequently extends an invitation to delve inward and address any imbalances or unresolved issues tied to love, relationships, and personal values. This juncture may witness inner growth and transformation, potentially setting the stage for a metaphorical "glow-up" as insights emerge and adjustments are made to align more authentically with your true self.
Guidance for navigating your Venus Return:
Self-Care and Self-Love: Embrace self-care rituals that foster feelings of pampering and self-assurance. Engage in activities that uplift self-esteem and serve as reminders of your innate value.
Creative Exploration: Channel your creative energies into artistic pursuits. Experiment with diverse forms of self-expression that resonate with the essence of your Leo Venus, be it through fashion, art, or performance.
Reconnection with Values: Contemplate your personal values and how they harmonize with your relationships and material pursuits. Identify areas where realignment could cultivate greater harmony and contentment.
Communication: Given your Cancer Rising, characterized by a gentle and nurturing demeanor, seize this period to articulate your emotions and requirements with clarity and sensitivity in your interactions.
Gratitude and Generosity: Express gratitude for the beauty encompassing you, and extend your warmth and generosity to others. Doing so can enhance your sense of fulfillment and deepen connections.
Financial Evaluation: Assume a pragmatic approach to your financial matters. Evaluate your fiscal objectives, spending tendencies, and strategies for enhancing financial security and comfort.
Solar Returns and Things That Are Not Planets
Tumblr media
To the siren @e11e27 ,
Let's start by being candid. A Solar Return lacks significance without a thorough examination of your transits for the upcoming year. Brace yourself for a slightly rude perspective, but if that were the case, everyone with Saturn in their 4th house during their Solar Return would experience the loss of their mother since I've read that I also it happened to me.... To take it a step further, the impact of a Solar Return beyond planetary placements is rather limited. The possibilities with personal planetary transits are so vast and for some reason unexplored (perhaps because they say that astrology does not make predictions...) that becoming overly fixated on the Solar Return can seem far-fetched at best. However, let's delve into the aspects of NN, Vertex, Part of Fortune, and Chiron in your Solar Return.
In astrology, the 7th house holds sway over relationships, partnerships, and one-on-one interactions. As the North Node, Vertex, Part of Fortune, and Chiron converge in Aries within this domain, several pivotal themes warrant contemplation:
Personal Evolution within Relationships: The presence of Aries energy introduces qualities such as initiative, assertiveness, and independence. The North Node's influence underscores a focus on growth and development, implying that your interactions with others might catalyze personal progress and self-discovery. This could encompass asserting yourself within relationships, nurturing independence, while concurrently harmonizing collaborative efforts.
Karmic Encounters and Destined Bonds: The Vertex signifies karmic or fated connections. With Aries gracing the 7th house, you could encounter relationships intended to impart profound lessons or propel you toward your life's purpose. These associations might prompt you to embrace your uniqueness as you navigate the intricate dynamics of partnership.
Healing and Vulnerability within Relationships: Often, retrograde Chiron points to areas requiring healing. Within the context of the 7th house, opportunities may arise to address wounds or insecurities associated with interpersonal dynamics. Retrograde Chiron signifies introspective exploration and therapeutic work, potentially culminating in a more empowered and authentic approach to connecting with partners.
Favorable Collaborations: The configuration's inclusion of the Part of Fortune suggests that positive outcomes might emanate from your willingness to engage in partnerships and collaborations. By adopting a proactive and receptive stance, these connections could contribute to your overall well-being and achievements.
Futhermore, your Venus positioned in the 1st house of Libra indicates a yearning for self-expression, aesthetics, and relationships throughout the upcoming year. This imparts an additional layer of profundity to your Solar Return, hinting that you may discover avenues to harmonize your personal desires and needs with those of your partners.
Jupiter Synastry with Celebrity
Tumblr media
To the siren @meghla-btsarmy ,
I'm here to offer an objective analysis of the synastry aspect involving your Jupiter and the celebrity's Jupiter. In this synastry, your Jupiter occupies his Ascendant (AC), while his Jupiter is positioned in your Descendant (DC). However, I'd like to share a preliminary note of caution. While I often use celebrity charts for illustrative purposes, it's essential to acknowledge that analyzing the natal charts of famous individuals might not provide a complete understanding of the person behind the fame. Keep in mind that you're observing the public persona rather than the true individual; it's akin to assessing Marilyn Monroe without fully grasping the intricacies of Norma Jeane Mortenson.
Now, let's delve into the dynamics of this synastry aspect. When your Jupiter aligns with his Ascendant (AC) and his Jupiter aligns with your Descendant (DC), a captivating interplay of expansive and harmonious energies unfolds between you two. However, it's important to acknowledge that this interplay is primarily a theoretical construct, one that he may never actually witness. Let's break down the components:
Jupiter, often referred to as the planet of expansion, growth, optimism, and abundance, symbolizes opportunities, higher learning, and a sense of benevolence. When Jupiter interacts in the context of synastry, it tends to nurture an atmosphere of openness, curiosity, and shared values.
Your Jupiter's presence in his Ascendant suggests that you bring a profound sense of positivity, enthusiasm, and potential growth into his life, even if he may never be aware of it. He might perceive you as a source of opportunities and a broader perspective. This aspect could elicit a feeling of appreciation from his side, as he recognizes the positive influence your Jupiter generation bring as his fan.
Conversely, with his Jupiter gracing your Descendant, he could symbolize growth, expansion, or an inherent optimism within your one-on-one interactions and relationships. Engaging with him might evoke a sense of possibility and adventure, even though the personal interaction might remain unattainable.
The opposition between your Jupiter and his Jupiter suggests a potential for shared learning experiences. You might mutually inspire each other to broaden horizons, pursue fresh opportunities, and embark on journeys of personal growth.
Ruler of The 4th in the 8th house generational trauma
Tumblr media
To the siren @nixastro,
First, let me clarify from the outset that I do not use the Nikola Stojanovic's degree theory (I anticipate needing to reiterate this point pretty often here). So let's talk about these potencial traumas:
Emotional Legacy and Communication Patterns: The presence of the Moon in Virgo within the 4th house underscores a profound emotional tie to family and the domestic sphere. The analytical disposition of Virgo suggests a potential need for order, control, and perfectionism within the confines of the home environment. Positioned in the 8th house, there could exist a propensity to conceal or withhold certain emotions, which may trace back to past familial dynamics characterized by the stifling of emotional expression.
Ancestral Secrets and Taboos: The 8th house is intrinsically linked to profundity, transformation, and concealed matters. Mercury's positioning in Capricorn within this house introduces the theme of ancestral secrets, unspoken truths, or familial taboos that have lingered within the family lineage. Communication pertaining to sensitive subjects may have been constrained or perhaps even forbidden in preceding generations, thus fostering an air of mystique or fascination surrounding the family's historical narrative.
Inherited Convictions Regarding Security and Resources: Capricorn's influence upon Mercury alludes to a preoccupation with structure, authority, and material security. Familial trauma associated with financial stability or sentiments of inadequacy concerning resources could potentially emerge as a recurrent motif. This might encompass the transference of beliefs surrounding scarcity, achievement, or self-worth, thereby influencing your perspective on and management of your own resources.
