Can I just have a small bit of headcanons or a Drabble on your pick of multi Gotham boys and their hands? Like I dunno if this is weird or not but kinda like just a dive down on what their hands feel like, who’s are soft and who’s are rough, who has vein hands, who has calloused hands. Just that kind of stuff please?🙏🤭🥺 (reason being of a specific hand edit I saw on tiktok 💀, also don’t feel obligated to do this if you don’t wanna. I completely understand.)
'FLESH, [hand! hcs]

⋆ Characters ↬ Oswald Cobblepot, Victor Zsasz, Jonathan Crane
⋆ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒 ; gotham villains and how they use their hands on reader ;)
⋆ tags/warnings. GOTHAM!villains x female reader. Not pure porn but smut. Suggestive. Might be the most vanilla thing i've written? but I love this request so much and I AM A SLUT for these men. Canon typical violence for Victor, Oswald getting a little rough ;)

♫ “This is just my way of unleashing the feelings deep inside of me.” Flesh by Simon Curtis
I know what you're thinking.
Oswald's hands? Out of every Gotham man I could've chosen???
YES. YES OSWALD'S HANDS. Have you seen this mans HANDS? Whether they are on a knife, or in those red gloves, or if he's leaning forward on them? All predatory like...
Not to mention...the VEINS. In almost every scene I've seen of this man? His hands are VEINY. Skinny bird man is not living up to that penguin stereotype, especially not in the earlier seasons.
God- just the way he stirs the wine glass or glass of brandy. Yeah. He's thinking and wishing it was your thighs he was holding, staring into the golden swirls.
The man has some issues with being nervous during sex, but when he lets loose he lets LOOSE. And he becomes feral, desperate, grinding and PAWING for every part of you he can kiss and hold and worship.
C'mon. We see the way he grips that cane of his. The way he holds the custom made knife. The way he gets his knuckles all bloody from hitting Fish or doing his own dirty work in season 1.
Also...going back to those red gloves of his. Could you imagine? Him making you grind yourself into the palm of his hand, watching you, mesmerized at the feeling of skin on leather.
He just wants to watch you writhe from pleasure. His little true love all needy for him and his hands. Gah.
He's so flustered, by the way, if you tell him you like his hands. He's sputtering, and asking why, but that little cheeky (and villainous mastermind) part of him is making a note to use them even more.
"You-," He says with a bit of an unbelieving smile, brows furrowed, voice wavering before his face turns to a look of complete shock, "You want me to what?"
Don't get him wrong, he's listening intently to your wishes, he just looks like he's seen a ghost at your vulgarity. He's not used to being wanted.

♫ “You can dominate the game 'cause I'm tough / This spark of black that I seem to love.” Flesh by Simon Curtis
This man might have the most iconic hands out of EVERYONE on this list.
I mean, c'mon now. When you think of leather-clad knuckle-less gloves, who do you think of?
The man, the myth, the legend himself. Victor Zsasz has the hands of a working man and he likes to use them.
These are the same hands he carries his guns in, the same trigger finger that will pump inside you while you mewl around him.
In all seriousness, though, he LOVES his hands too. They are his favorite part of his body. Without his hands, what would he be able to do? He's skilled with them. Pleasuring you with them is no different.
They are slightly calloused from the sharp edges of the guns he holds, but he's learned to use his gloves to protect them. Regardless, the old scars and marks from when he was just a boy playing with a tec-9 still remain.
Also, he canonically wears rings when we first see him in the show. Yeah, he's using that to his advantage.
You'll feel the cold metal as he drags a finger along your spine, watching you shiver. He'll do that lazy side-smirk, breathing heavily as he watches you arch up into him just from a touch.
Don't tell him you love his hands. Please, for the sake of the zsaszettes having to suffer a total EGO trip. He's taking it in stride.
But if you do happen to mention it...he's bragging about it.
Every time he gets complimented on a nice shot, he's bring you up.
I can imagine him holding someone hostage, whether its Jim or someone else. He notices them staring at the gun in his hand, full of fear, and he'll look flattered.
"Oh? Are you staring at my hands? Sorry, I'm taken." He's mentioning, off-hand, to the rando he's kidnapped. It doesn't matter if the hostage is a full on 50 year old man. "My girlfriend says she loves my hands. Y'know, life's work, and all that."

𝐽𝛰𝑁𝐴𝑇𝐻𝐴𝑁 𝐶𝑅𝐴𝑁𝐸
♫ “This is not the way into my heart, into my head. / Into my brain, into none of the above.” Flesh by Simon Curtis
Okay, maybe i’m just a monster fucker, but HEAR ME OUT!!
Uncut nails behind those talons of his on his costume. On or off.
Sometimes, he’ll be fully clothed, drawing scratch-marks into your skin, lowly humming in pleasure. That little spark of fear in your eyes when he draaaaaags down just right makes him go crazy.
He can’t help it. You’re his armeggedon, his muse, his savior all in one. The remedy to his madness…and you get all worked up from just a touch. It strokes his ego, like Victor, but he’s quieter about it.
Dirt beneath his fingernails, callouses and blisters from working with those damned poisons. He’s suffered a chemical burn or two, and you’ll see the small circle scars on his knuckles.
You’re like his personal test subject. He likes to study you- watch your expressions when he glides his nails down your skin, almost touching you- but not quite.
Surprisingly a tease when he finds out. He’s nonchalant. He won’t let you see the sheer arousal simmering beneath the surface.
But boy, it’s there. His heavy breathing. It affects him just as much as it effects you. The chill down your back, the shivers left in his wake. He takes his time edging playing with you.
You might need to ask him to cut them lowkey because they can be kinda painful when he’s fingering you. Or…if you’re into that little sting of pain while his tongue massages your clit through his mask.
He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it’s filthy.
“There you go, little mouse. You like it, don’t you?” He pauses, in thought, while you grind for friction like a cat in heat against his finger tips. “I wonder…where I should sink my claws into you next?”
That damned deep voice of his…the subtle curl of his fingers inside you. Before you know it, he’s pumping in and out, trying to elicit the most vulgar reactions from you. He can’t help it. For a man who prides himself on control…he looses it all when he’s with you.

DC high school au… mayhaps…..
I’m not sure if anyone’s done this before
But I’m doing it now
So the JL, right. These are famous alumni who made school history and now obvi they’re billionaires and reporters and museum owners but they’re not superheroes— just regular people
Liiike Clark Kent was the best quarterback the school has ever seen
Oliver Queen essentially revolutionized the archery team
Diana Prince convinced the school to start a fencing league
Barry Allen slayed both track and any and all chemistry competitions thrown his way
Arthur Curry… I shouldn’t have to say anything about his swim team career. That’s where he met his wife
Bruce Wayne was one of the smartest people probably ever, especially to grace that building
And so on and so forth
Anyways so these people are famous, and they’re up on the walls and display cases and shit
The staff!! Was so thrilled!! To be getting their children!!!!
(The principal counted down the days on his calendar after the news hit that Brucie adopted his first kid)
So.
Dick and Barbara are seniors. Dick is the cheer captain and Babs WAS on the team until a fun little accident that has her wheelchair-bound. (It’s fine, she discovered she actually likes computers better. She’d hacked the entire security system one day at lunch because she got bored)
Dick is kind of the queen bee of the school, which is hilarious, because he KNOWS but refuses to let it get to his head. This man will start water gun fights in the hallways for fun
Jason and Cass are juniors
Jason is one of the drama club’s absolute best (singing and acting). He played Billy Flynn in Chicago, Prince Charming in Cinderella, Aladdin in… yeah. He slays pretty hard
Cass is on the dance team and regularly misses class for some competition or another. Sometimes, when cheerleaders and the dance team collab on stuff (like assemblies), she actually likes the pompoms. She does not like the skirts.
Tim, Steph, and Duke are sophomores— people are s c a r e d of these three
Tim is known for constantly having a stockpile of energy drinks in his locker; sometimes a few of his friends get access to it. He’s also terrifyingly smart. And he’s got a bike. SOPHOMORE YEAR. TIM WHAT
Steph’s whole entire TikTok presence is lifting/ workout challenges against any poor scrub who tries to go up against her. She can lift the same amount as Jason Todd. That gives her a very confident “don’t fuck with me aura” around school, which is good, because she’s got zero interest in any guy there anyways (bi f pref queen)
And Duke… Duke is the golden boy, so the first time you see him in a sparring match with any of his siblings (they do that for fun at lunch), you’re very shocked to see him holding his own against Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown. He also slays
Damian is the only freshman in his family. Jason and Tim make fun of him endlessly
It is pretty impressive that a freshie organized the biggest fundraiser the school has ever seen— and it was for local animal shelters. Nobody knows how he did it. Probably intimidation. You never know with that kid
Now the superfam. Ohoho, yes, these legends go to that school too
Kara is a junior, Kon is a sophomore, Jon is a freshman. They’re all on the football team (their dad comes to every game🥰)
Did anybody expect a woman or freshman to land on the varsity team the first year either of them tried out? No. But they made it anyways. Good for them
And football is just so different from their day-to-day personalities, sometimes it gives people whiplash
Kara pretty much runs the broadcast and yearbook teams, and she does it along with dominating the football field and gym
Conner looks like he’d deck you for looking at him wrong (I mean he might but like he won’t… probably), and he’s like. He makes good fashion choices. He’s the Bad Boy, which is funny considering his nerdy bf is the one with the motorcycle
Jon is fluffy?? So nice?? Sir who let an actual decent person on the varsity football team?? When someone spots Dami wearing his letterman at some point, they become the most popular couple at school. As freshmen. Slay for them tbh
Donna Troy is a senior. Fencing and beauty pageants is a weird combination. But she knows she’s pretty and she’s gonna make damn sure everybody else knows too
Cassie is a freshie, but she’s already on the fencing team as well and several people have seen her sparring with Damian (wHERE did he get KATANAS), and it looks like a couple of war gods who happen to be fifteen are fighting to the death for a few yards of shitty grass behind the school
Conner Hawke, Artemis Crock, Emiko Queen, Roy Harper, and Mia Dearden are the archery team captains. Yeah, there’s five of them, yeah, the coaches couldn’t pick because the kIDS ARE BETTER THAN THEM
(Ollie laughed so hard he fell out of his chair when they came home and told him that)
Roy is a junior and definitely brings his bow everywhere he shouldn’t. He also “accidentally” shot Jason once. Whenever someone asks about their meetcute they just laugh until the person gets scared and runs away
Conner is a sophomore but a bitter old man in his soul. What a king
Artemis is also a sophomore and everyone thinks she’s Ollie’s favorite because she’s like a mini-him, but Ollie doesn’t actually HAVE a favorite and she finds this claim hilarious
Mia, third sophomore, has a very strange attraction to the color yellow. She LOVES it. And she actually pulls it off, how awesome is she
Emi is a freshman but gets along with Dami pretty well, which isn’t surprising considering their matching deadpan humor and lowkey murderous rage constantly
Jackson Hyde broke Arthur’s record for fastest lap on his fourth try. He spends more time at the ocean than literally anywhere else
Wally West and Bart Allen are technically not related?? They’re like. Cousins. But Barry ended up officially adopting Wally (long story)
Anyways they’re actually cousins with Jesse Quick
The three of them DOMINATE track and field/ cross country/ physics club (yeah you read that last one right don’t even with me)
Wally is a senior and working towards becoming a forensic scientist for the cops. When someone asks why the fuck he wanted to do that to himself, he always jokes, “I’m not fast enough to be a serial killer so I guess I’ll help catch ‘em” and everyone is scared
Bart is a sophomore but should be a freshie, because he’s almost a full year younger, except that he skipped fifth grade and went straight to sixth. Tim and Kon pretend to be his adoptive parents and it’s like a soap opera watching these three act out a dramatic divorce arc
Jesse is a junior (alliteration go brr) but a younger one (summer birthday WOO) she definitely takes after Barry, especially in speed
SO people call their friend groups chaotic. What are you gonna do, go up and fuck with any of them? Bad idea
For fun, these assholes run a fight club after school with betting and rosters and everything, with anyone who signs up. FOR FUN. Once the batkids learned their dad has a black belt in like six different martial arts, it was all over
They say it’s a good workout
They’re probably not wrong, but still
Who the fuck wakes up and chooses violence on all their friends and family all in good fun to make MONEY OFF OF BEATING THEM UP
The most viral videos taken from their school is a push-up contest with all eight batkids, seven competing, Babs filming
Cass won.
LET me know if you want more for this. Because I’m gonna write more. But if you had specific suggestions or characters or scenarios or questions, I would love to write them
Good morning/ night/ 4am!! (PS BACK TO SCHOOL WOO)

ft: high noon!talon (league of legends)
reader: fem
wc: 2017
summary: after the fall of heaven, you're left to wander the mortal plain with nothing but a dead-end job and a mark on your hand binding you to a brother who you once thought dead. they say the west is cruel, but you weren't expecting to be reunited with the man you loathed most.
part i (here!) part ii
Tumblr media
There’s a distinct creak that echoes through the air as the swinging doors open. The bar silences, all eyes turning to glance at the newcomer from beneath the hem of their worn leather hats before deeming him not worth their time and returning to their previous activities.
His boots click as he slowly stalks toward the front of the bar, the odd blades at the ends of his cape rattle noisily, clinking together with every step. His face remains hidden by the downward tilt of his head, obscured by the pristine hat accented by rims of gold. It isn’t long till he takes a seat at your station, waving you down with a flick of his wrist.
As you approach, your breath hitches. He’s smirking, scrutinizing your every move with an amused quirk of his brow. But what grabs your attention is his eyes, well, eye as one of them is covered by a black eyepatch with similar golden accents as the rest of his outfit. There’s something not quite human about his gaze and devilish smirk, yet you don’t allow his strange aura to deter you. You had a job to do, after all.
“Well, ain’t you a pretty sight?” The man lets out a low whistle, his smirk ever-present as his gaze lands on your gloved hand, which you quickly tuck away behind your work skirt upon feeling his gaze. He quirks a brow but doesn’t push, which you’re grateful for. Heaven knows that the folks in this town are far too nosy than they ought to be. Sweat begins to gather at the base of your neck, though whether it's from the high noon’s unforgiving heat, or from his stare, you aren’t quite sure.
You force yourself to remain calm. “What can I get you today, sir?” The buzz of the bar does little to distract you from the alluring stranger as he lets out a deep chuckle. You fiddle with your skirt when he dips his head to the side with a shrug, brushing aside the feeling in your gut telling you to run. In all honesty, you really should’ve.
“Whatever you recommend, miss.”
If he took note of your apprehension, he gave you the grace of not commenting on it, merely watching you pour a small cup of water from a lukewarm pitcher. The glass is then placed before him with a resounding thud, with a few of the droplets splashing onto his clothes and the counter.
“There you go, a mighty fine glass of water all for you, sir.” You ignore his stare in favor of wiping down the now-wet counter. He snorts, and you know he has a wide grin plastered on his face even if you can’t see it.
“Just water? And here I thought we hit it off, miss.”
Now it's your turn to snort, narrowing your eyes at the strange newcomer with a sneer. “We don’t do freeloaders ‘round here, sir. Sorry to disappoint.” You turn away from him to make your way over to a different customer when the sound of a pouch of coins hitting wood draws your attention swiftly back to the newcomer.
The whole bar seems to come to a standstill as the shimmering gold rolls across the countertop.
Tobias Felix looks up from his shuffled deck of cards, blue eyes falling to the coins with piqued interest. It’s rare to see the man away from Buzzard Gulch, and you can’t say you find yourself at ease with his presence, especially when he keeps his cards so close to his chest.
(Never trust a man with too many secrets; a saying befitting of your current predicament.)
The famed Gunpowder Witch lets out a low whistle as she props her feet on the table despite your numerous complaints. Her left hand dutifully twirls one of her guns—Blaze, you recall her naming it—while the other tightly grips a bounty from the Mechanical Devil himself. The amount in the pouch is significantly less than the amount on the bounty, but out here in the west, all coin is good coin.
Your nostrils flare and your eyes glint with an unmatched hellfire that would send the Mechanical Devil himself running with his tail between his legs. “Fine,” you spit venomously, “what can I getcha, sir?”
“A moment of your time would suffice.” The man leans against the counter, taking the hand that lay resting on the counter before placing a chaste kiss on the silk glove.
As if burned, you quickly draw your hand back, reeling away as disgust paints your features. “A moment of my—! Do I look like a common whore?!” Had it not been for the manager coming to step in, there is no doubt in your mind that you would’ve struck the man. With a hand firmly clasped over your mouth, you’re unable to voice your complaints as your manager smiles.
A dangerous look crosses the outsider’s face, but it’s quickly replaced with a mirroring plastered smile.
“Pleasure doin’ business with you, kind sir.” Your manager tightens his grip on you, sticking his hand out for the strange man to shake.
“Much obliged.”
With the tip of a hat and the snatching of coin, you find yourself in the devil’s hold, deliberately avoiding his piercing gaze as he leads you away from the bar. Dust kicks up beneath your feet, dirtying the whiteness of your dress into the same barren shade of brown as the dirt. Once you deem yourself far away from wandering eyes, you tear yourself away from him.
“You!” You press your gloved finger to his chest, unable to withhold your thinly veiled anger.
“Well, hello to you too, darlin’.” He peels your hand off of his chest, once more placing a kiss on the back, though this time he removes the glove, revealing the half mark of grief inked into your skin.
(One half on you, and the other on your brother; two sides of the same coin.)
“Miss me, angelface?” His tone is light yet mocking as he peels off the eye patch. One of his arms sneaks around your waist, pulling you flush against him, much to your chagrin.
“I ain’t ever miss a devil.” You resist the urge to spit in his pretty face. His eyes, forever soulless, burn bright beneath the scorching sky of the high noon, amusement dancing in the two-toned irises as he forces you into a crude waltz.
“Naw, can’t hide it from me, angelface. You’re still as shitty a liar as y’always been.”
Twisting and turning to an unheard rhythm, his hand entwines with your ungloved hand; calloused and rough through years of merciless killing. You try to pull away from him but his grip remains firm.
“And you’re still a connivin’ sonuva—!”
His movements are sudden and hidden, yet still as precise as they’ve always been.
You gasp as a blade pierces through your midsection, the cold steel bringing the familiar feeling of a harrowing death as it pushes deeper.
It burns.
The mark on your hand pulses, no doubt your brother on the other end restarting the process of grief.
Golden blood trickles from the open wound, tainted by mortal air and a devil’s blade. You can only gape at him as he smiles down ruefully at you, bearing the same expression he bore all those years ago. You grasp weakly at his throat in an attempt to choke him, unable to voice your anger and grief with the blood rising in your throat. Your body falls as he drops you, but your soul is quick to stand again, gazing down at your corpse as it dissipates into a golden light.
The barren land cracks beneath your feet as you give up resisting, giving way to the hidden tracks beneath. The tracks of utter damnation.
A train horn sounds in the distance, followed shortly by the distinct sound of wheels on rails, chugging along the beaten tracks as the Sulfur Rail draws ever closer. You smell it before you see it; the intangible scent of burnt matches and rotting eggs pervading your senses even as you scrunch your nose at its distasteful smell.
It isn’t long until the train comes to a standstill, pausing before the two of you with the deafening screech of metal on metal. The devil—ever the utmost gentleman—steps on first, gripping onto the rusted rail as he extends his other hand to you.
His smirk widens as you take his hand, conjuring a fan to hide your expression as well as an attempt to block out the Sulfur Rail’s foul stench. Its white feathers fall with every movement, fading to black before disintegrating as they hit the ground.
(Similar to a lot of folks you know, your brother in particular.)
You tune out his conversation with the ticket taker both out of spite and boredom, focusing your attention instead on the multitude of souls meandering about. Angels, devils, humans—all on a one-way ride to hell, paid in full by the mechanical devil-king himself. You see a few familiar faces amongst the sea of souls, though one in particular eludes you. Shrugging to yourself, you make your way down the rows of seats, both empty and occupied.
Anger still simmers beneath the surface of your skin despite your lack of outward resistance. The man takes a seat across from you, his face schooled into a more familiar look of annoyance and perpetual anger, unlike his suave facade from earlier.
You hate how he still looks attractive after all these years of nothing but silence between the two of you. You hate how he speaks so casually with you as if nothing happened after the downfall of Heaven—your home. Snapping your fan shut, you look at him, looking for any subtle shift in his features brought upon by time. His frown lines, the imminent scowl that’s taken over the plastic smile he clung to at the bar, the shaggy silver hair beneath his hat, and you could never forget the hidden blades just barely peeking from the cuffs of his shirt and knives in the holster at his hip.
Nope, he’s exactly the same. Just as you suspected.
“Why didja bring me here, Talon?”
“Lookin’ for somethin’ and you’re the only one who can help me find it, angelface.” That all-knowing look in his back on his slappable face and your jaw clenches tight beneath your teeth at the mere sight of it.
Your hand clasps over the mark visible on your ungloved hand as if protecting the bond from outside gazes—from Talon’s gaze. “Varus ain’t gonna help you. I wouldn’t help ya if it meant all the gold in the world.”
He cocks a brow, tilting his hat back slightly with his thumb as he looks at you, really looks at you, “You ain’t never cared for gold before.”
Melancholy settles over the anger, cooling its hellfire-like blaze into a manageable ember. “People change, Talon, but s’good to see you’re still as insufferable as ever.” You’re quick to recollect your fallen expression. “But that ain’t the point. Why d’you needa speak to Varus anyway? Pretty sure he’s still got that grudge of his.”
“Can’t a guy catch up with an old friend?”
You bring a hand up to quell your growing headache—can the dead get headaches? You digress. You stare hard at him, trying to piece together what in the world he was on about. “Right. The two of you were such good friends, weren’tcha?” Sarcasm drips from your tone as you roll your eyes, and he snorts in response.
“We were pretty close though, hm? All cozy n’ warm.”
“I reckon it’s high time you shut your damn mouth, demon.”
Talon hums, raising his hands in faux surrender before finally allowing you a moment of respite.
Resigning yourself to an unknown fate, you lean back into the train’s seat with a tired sigh. “I ain’t spoken to Varus in centuries, y’know?”
“Why’s that?” He’s smirking again. That damn twisted smirk that’s seared into the forefront of your mind.
You hate him.
“‘Cause you killed ‘em.”

Wayward Son reread!
starting the story with an Epilogue really confused me at first
the idea of Baz with a beard/ facial hair is....
Truly as much as Baz talks and thinks about kill/ draining ppl I don't think he could... likes Simon and Penny would (and do) without hesitation but does Baz even kill any of the vampires??? (Double checking he does kill 2 of the RenFest vamps with fire but only when Simon is in deep danger -- he also does kill some vamps at the end battle but again... Simon in danger)
I don't think Simon ever really learned to regulate his emotions. Like in care it was no emotions and at Watford he needed to be extreme to go off... and who was going to teach him control? Definitely not the mage. And none of the Adults where going to stand up to his mistreatment (or even acknowledge that it was happening) and now in WS he still doesn't know how but now it isn't ok because he doesn't have magic has a back reason
"he looks like Quasimodo" (page 5) i know that in AWTWB his wings fold in more (?) but i always think that Simon looks like he has a hump back whenever he has to hide his wings under clothes
"Surprise! it's your exboyfriend and his boyfriend and that girl you never liked very much!" (page 9)
Agatha and Simon are two peas in "what is my sexuality" pod. in my head Agatha is AroAce (ppl can be mad about it and yes i've read AWTWB) and Simon is Demisexual
WS again references Simon transforming into a dragon so...
"(fuck men, always trying to trap you alone.)" (page 34)
Simon has memory loss about his childhood (specifically this is referencing non Watford childhood) (page 38)
"'Yah. Do it, Snow. Live dangerously.' Says the vampire teaching me how to drive." (page 56)
it makes he laugh that NO ONE told an Adult they were going to American....
Penny and Baz friendship makes me smile
"'Imagine dating a legend.' That's the trouble. I don't have to." (page 85)
"Something specifically American: a gun demon,..." (page 127)
when Simon and Shepard meet and both turn into golden retrievers wagging their tails at each other
everyone calls the were-skunk something different
i don't think Baz knows how not to not pretend to not be a vampire (what did i just write..? - he doesn't know how not to pretend to be human)
"'We are made of magic. Without our magic, you're worse than Normal. You're useless'" (page 159) - this hurts real bad cuz Simon could have overheard (i don't think he did but if this was less of a YA book i think he would have)
so many things happen with Margaret that i'm not even sure i have a half-baked theory on what she says to Simon
Simon likes kissing Baz but doesn't like to be kissed (page 206)
f*ck creepy Lamb
there is a slip where Lamb reveals he's working with the Next Blood vamps but if you don't know you don't know (page 278)
do you think Baz was in Lamb's thrall? or was Baz just really hoping to see the good and a teacher in someone like himself?
so much goes down after the fight - and i have a grumpy face that the book ends with a prologue...

A couple of years ago I went through a "transformers phase", and by that I mean I made a couple of transformers fanarts which is not something I usually do.
I have always been a big fan of Beast Wars and when I was looking at some beast wars era toys I found curious there were so many bat maximals, so I wanted to try and make my version of them.
First is the original Optimus Primal toy that turned into a bat, the original color scheme was gray instead of black, but I wanted him to have the same palette as the gorilla primal, also I gave him some batman features because I like batman
Then its Nightscream from Beast Machines, when I was reading about the character I found that while in the original series he was portrayed as a bit of an emo character, in the japanese dub he was turned into a very flamboyant gay character, and when the character was adapted into the legends comic he was portraid as a crossdresser that many characters mistook as female despite being male, so I went ahead and made it a "femboi" because I felt it suited his design
Next is Sonar, a transmetal 2 bat that never showed in the cartoon but did in the comics, in her toy bio she was never given any pronouns, so when she was added to the comics they made her female to have more fembots, so I made her a cute fembot, because why not
The last one is Noctorro, a Bat/Bull fuzor that also never showed in the cartoon, but did in the comics, when I read the characters bio it said noctorro is a fighter that uses no guns, thats why his toy didnt include any, and while his whole body had the same dark blue and golden color scheme, his face was particulary red, so I decided to make it look like a it is wearing a luchador mask, this paired well with its "no guns" fighting style. I also made his beast mode because the original toy was a bit of underwhelming and I knew it could look better
Also I know there is a new Maximal bat that in the comics called Nyx, maybe I will draw her later

The next tale in Heidi Ann Heiner's Sleeping Beauties is the German tale that truly codified Sleeping Beauty as it's usually told and adapted today, more so than Perrault's version: Dörnroschen (Little Briar Rose) by the Brothers Grimm. This is followed by a lesser-known story of a sleeping maiden from the Grimms' collection, The Glass Coffin, and an Austrian tale called The Enchanted Sleep.
*The Grimms' tale of Briar Rose is so well-known that it needs no summary, but I'll provide one anyway just to highlight its differences from Perrault's version. The king and queen long for a child, but then a talking frog foretells their daughter's birth to the queen. When the princess is born, the king gives a great feast and invites twelve "wise women" (the Grimm's usual term for fairies, less "French” and more "Germanic" than the latter word), who give magic gifts to the baby. But the kingdom's thirteenth wise woman goes uninvited because the king has only twelve golden plates. Just as the twelfth wise woman is about to give her gift, the thirteenth appears and curses the princess to prick her finger on a spindle and die at age fifteen. But the twelfth softens the curse to a hundred year sleep. The king has every spindle in the kingdom burned, but all the same, on her fifteenth birthday, Briar Rose finds an old woman spinning in a tower, tries to spin too, and pricks her finger. The king and queen (unlike in Perrault's version, they're spared) and all the rest of the court instantly fall asleep with her. Over the years, a hedge of thorns grows around the castle, and many princes try to break through and reach the princess, but they become tangled in the thorns and die. A hundred years later, however, one last prince approaches the thorns, and they turn to flowers and part for him. When the prince finds Briar Rose, he kisses her lips (for the first time in the tale's history), and she wakes, as do her parents and all the others. This is also the first variant of the tale not to include further adventures and perils after the awakening. Briar Rose and her prince simply marry and live happily ever after.
**Allegedly, the Grimms considered rejecting this story because it was so obviously derived from Perrault's Sleeping Beauty and therefore more French than German. But in the end they included it because of its Germanic origins in the Brynhild legend.
*The Glass Coffin is a decidedly stranger tale, in the way that so many of the lesser known Grimms' tales are strange. A poor tailor gets lost in a forest, where he sees a bloody battle between a stag and a bull, which the stag wins. The stag then picks the tailor up on his antlers and carries him to a stone wall, in which a door opens. Inside, the tailor finds a hall filled with glass bottles containing a blue vapor, and amid them are two glass cases. One contains a miniature castle surrounded by farmland, while the other is a glass coffin in which a beautiful maiden lies sleeping. She wakes and begs the tailor to let her out of the coffin, and after he does, she tells him her story. She's the orphaned daughter of a rich count, who was raised by her devoted brother. A wicked magician asked for her hand in marriage, but she refused, so he turned her brother into a stag. When she still refused (and tried to shoot him with a gun, but in vain thanks to his magic), he cast her into an enchanted sleep, shut her in the coffin, shrank her castle and the surrounding lands, locked them in the other glass case, and turned all her servants into blue smoke and imprisoned them in the glass bottles. But now the tailor's arrival has broken the spell. He helps her to free all her servants and return the castle and farmland to their natural size. Then the maiden's brother arrives, restored to human form: the bull he killed earlier was the magician, so they're now safe. The tailor and the maiden are married.
*The Enchanted Sleep is really a variant on The Water of Life from the Grimms' collection, but with the tale's aspects that parallel Sleeping Beauty enhanced. A count with three sons is blinded by dust in a windstorm, and in turn, each of his sons sets out to find a castle that contains a spring of healing water, which will allegedly restore his sight. The first two brothers meet a group of black men (period-typical racism, unfortunately), gamble with them, lose their fortunes, and are reduced to the black men's slaves. But the youngest resists the temptation and frees his brothers by paying their debts. As they journey forward, the youngest brother hunts, but he spares the lives of several animals who promise to come to his aid when he needs them. When they reach the enchanted castle, the two older brothers are too afraid to go in, but the youngest brother does. There he finds a king and queen, their court, and a beautiful princess asleep: he writes down his name and adventures on some paper he finds, kisses the princess, and then leaves. Then they find the healing water, but the two older brothers are magically unable to take any: only the youngest can. Out of envy, the older brothers murder him and burn his body, then take the healing water back to their father. But the animals arrive, and with "all manner of salves and herbs" they revive the young hero, who goes to work for a farmer. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to him, his kiss broke the sleeping spell on the princess and her family and court (which is never explained). After reading the notes our hero left, the princess sends word to the count that one of his sons woke her and is her destined husband. Each of the two older brothers comes in turn, but the princess strews the road with diamonds, and when neither older brother will ride over them so as not to damage them, she knows that neither one is her savior because neither one really loves her. But when our hero gets word of this, he rides straight over the diamonds to reach her. They're joyfully wed, and when the hero's father is informed of his two older son's crime, he has them executed.
Next, we leave Europe and move on to Egypt and India.

The morning sun cast a golden hue over the deck of the ship as Destiny sparred with Seonghwa. His guidance was firm yet encouraging, pushing her to her limits with each practiced strike and parry. Sweat glistened on their brows as they moved in synchronized movements, the sound of their blades ringing through the air.
"You're improving, Destiny," Seonghwa remarked, stepping back to catch his breath. "But there's still much to learn. You need to be ready for anything out there."
Destiny nodded, her muscles burning from the exertion. She respected Seonghwa's expertise and knew he was right. The life of a pirate was unpredictable, and she needed to be prepared for any challenge that came her way.
As they sat down on the deck, Seonghwa's expression turned serious. "I saw you practicing alone the other day," he began quietly, his gaze piercing yet compassionate. "You're getting stronger, but strength alone won't always be enough."
He reached into his coat and pulled out a dagger, its blade glinting in the sunlight. "Take this," he said, placing it in Destiny's hand. "Keep it hidden, but within reach. It might save your life one day."
Destiny studied the dagger, feeling its weight in her hand. She tucked it away in a secret pocket of her clothing, nodding solemnly. "Thank you, Seonghwa. I'll keep it close."
He nodded approvingly. "Good. But strength with a blade is only one aspect. You should also train with Jongho. He's the best gunner we have, and he'll teach you how to handle firearms."
Jongho approached them, a smile spreading across his face. "I'm ready to help, Destiny. Let's see what you can do with a gun."
Destiny stood up, determination filling her gaze. She was grateful for Seonghwa's guidance and Jongho's willingness to teach her. Despite the challenges ahead, she felt a sense of purpose knowing she was surrounded by a crew who believed in her.
Throughout the day, Destiny trained diligently with Jongho, learning the intricacies of firearms and honing her skills under his watchful eye. The hours passed swiftly as she absorbed every lesson, her confidence growing with each successful shot.
By evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Destiny felt a newfound sense of readiness. She knew the mission ahead would be dangerous, but she was determined to face it head-on. With Seonghwa's dagger concealed at her side and Jongho's teachings fresh in her mind, she was as prepared as she could be.
As she retired to her quarters for the night, Destiny reflected on the day's training. She felt a surge of gratitude towards Seonghwa and Jongho, as well as a renewed sense of purpose. Tomorrow, they would put their plan into action, and Destiny would be ready.
-
Destiny stood on deck, the morning sun casting a warm glow over the ship as it sailed steadily towards its destination. She leaned against the railing, her thoughts consumed by the upcoming mission. The air was crisp with anticipation, the usual bustle of the crew muted as they prepared for their task ahead.
As she contemplated the challenges that lay ahead, Destiny felt a presence beside her. She turned to see San approaching, his expression serious yet tinged with concern.
"Good luck out there, Destiny," San said softly, his voice carrying a note of genuine worry. "Be careful. I want to see you back on this ship tonight."
Destiny met his gaze, grateful for his words of encouragement despite their recent tensions. "Thank you, San," she replied sincerely. "I'll be cautious."
San nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips before he turned and walked away. Destiny watched him go, a sense of determination settling within her. Despite their differences, they were united by their common goal—to secure the map that held the key to El Dorado.
Destiny gathered with the rest of the crew near the ship's railings. Hongjoong stood at the forefront, his voice carrying authority as he outlined the plan once more.
"We'll approach Captain Black's ship under the guise of trade," Hongjoong explained, gesturing toward a rough sketch of the enemy vessel on a weathered parchment. "They've been expecting us, thanks to some well-placed rumors. Seonghwa and Yeosang will lead the initial negotiations."
Seonghwa stepped forward, his expression serious. "Our primary objective is to locate the map's whereabouts discreetly. If all goes well, we won't have to engage in any hostilities."
Wooyoung, who had been unusually quiet since morning, shifted uncomfortably. His gaze was distant, as if lost in his thoughts.
Destiny exchanged a quick glance with Jongho, who stood nearby, adjusting his bandana with a determined look. She felt a surge of gratitude toward Seonghwa for insisting on her training, knowing it might make a difference in the hours ahead.
Jongho caught her eye and nodded subtly, a silent affirmation of their shared readiness. Destiny gripped the dagger Seonghwa had given her, hidden under her vest, its weight a comforting reminder of her preparedness.
"We'll maintain silence," Hongjoong continued, his voice low but steady. "Communicate only when necessary. If there's any sign of trouble, we'll enact the extraction plan immediately."
San appeared beside Destiny, his eyes scanning the crew with a mixture of concern and resolve. "Stay sharp, everyone," he said quietly, his voice carrying a note of reassurance. "Let's make sure we all get back to the ship in one piece."
With that, the crew dispersed, each member moving swiftly to their designated tasks. Destiny found herself walking alongside San toward the small boat that would ferry them to Captain Black's ship. The tension in the air was palpable, a silent acknowledgment of the risks ahead.
"Are you ready for this?" San asked, his tone gentle yet probing.
Destiny nodded, her jaw set in determination. "As ready as I'll ever be," she replied, her voice steady despite the nerves fluttering in her stomach.
They climbed into the boat, joining Seonghwa, Yeosang, and a few others who were tasked with the initial approach. The sea stretched out around them, shimmering under the midday sun as they rowed toward the looming silhouette of Captain Black's ship.
Destiny felt a surge of adrenaline as they approached, her senses sharpening as they prepared to face whatever awaited them on the enemy vessel. She glanced back at the Treasure, a silent prayer for their success echoing in her heart.
The mission was underway, and Destiny knew that the next hours would test their resolve like never before.
-
As they drew nearer to Captain Black's ship, the tension in the small boat became palpable. Destiny kept her gaze fixed on the looming vessel ahead, its black sails billowing against the azure sky. Seonghwa, at the helm, guided them with practiced ease, his focus unwavering despite the gravity of their mission.
Yeosang, beside Seonghwa, consulted a small scroll, double-checking their approach strategy. "We're expected," he murmured, more to himself than anyone else, as if confirming the plan once more in his mind.
Destiny stole a glance at San, who sat beside her, his expression a mask of concentration. His hand rested on the hilt of his cutlass, a silent reminder of the readiness that coursed through the crew. She knew he was assessing every detail, every potential threat, his instincts honed from years at sea.
Seonghwa signaled for them to halt rowing, and the boat drifted silently alongside the larger vessel. Yeosang stood, holding up a hand in a gesture of peace, as they awaited a response from Captain Black's crew.
A figure appeared at the railing of the enemy ship, clad in weathered leather and observing them with a calculating gaze. Destiny's pulse quickened as she recognized the imposing stature of one of Captain Black's lieutenants, known for his ruthless efficiency.
"We're here for the trade," Seonghwa called out, his voice projecting across the water. "To discuss business with Captain Black."
The lieutenant studied them for a tense moment before nodding curtly. "Follow me," he commanded, disappearing from view.
Seonghwa exchanged a glance with Yeosang, and they both rose to follow the lieutenant onto Captain Black's ship. Destiny and San followed suit, their movements deliberate as they stepped onto the unfamiliar deck.
The atmosphere was charged with suspicion as they were led through the maze of crates and cannons, past a motley crew of hardened pirates who eyed them with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.
Destiny kept her senses alert, keenly aware of the tension that crackled in the air. She glanced at San, whose jaw was set in determination, his eyes scanning their surroundings for any sign of danger.
They were brought to a dimly lit cabin where Captain Black awaited them, seated behind a sturdy oak desk cluttered with maps and parchments. His gaze bore into them with an intensity that sent a chill down Destiny's spine.
"Captain Hongjoong," Captain Black greeted with a gravelly voice, his tone betraying none of the thoughts that churned behind his steely eyes. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"
Hongjoong stepped forward, his demeanor confident as he laid out their proposal for a trade. Destiny listened intently as he navigated the delicate negotiations, each word measured and calculated to sway Captain Black's allegiance without revealing their true intentions.
San stood beside her, a steadfast presence amidst the mounting pressure. His presence was a reassurance, a silent reminder of the bonds that united them despite their recent conflict.
Hours passed in tense deliberation, each moment drawing them closer to the critical juncture of their plan. Destiny's mind raced with scenarios and contingencies, her focus unwavering even as fatigue threatened to cloud her thoughts. Captain Black's steely gaze remained fixed on Hongjoong, a predatory glint in his eyes that set Destiny on edge.
Just as Hongjoong was about to close the deal, Captain Black leaned back in his chair, a sly smile curling his lips. "There's one more condition," he said, his voice low and deliberate. "I want the girl."
A cold silence fell over the room. Destiny's heart skipped a beat, and she felt San tense beside her. Hongjoong's expression darkened, his jaw clenching as he stared at Captain Black.
"The girl?" Hongjoong repeated, his tone edged with disbelief and anger.
Captain Black nodded, his eyes never leaving Destiny. "One glance at the map, and in return, I get her. She'll be useful to me."
Destiny's stomach churned with fear and revulsion. She had anticipated many obstacles, but this twist was something she hadn't prepared for. She could feel the eyes of her crew on her, the weight of the decision pressing down on them all.
Hongjoong took a step forward, his voice cold and resolute. "That's not part of the deal, Black. We're here for a trade, not to sell out our own."
Captain Black's smile widened, a malicious glint in his eyes. "Then you leave empty-handed. The map stays with me, and you walk away with nothing."
Destiny's mind raced, trying to find a way out of this nightmare. She glanced at San, whose face was a mask of fury and helplessness. Yeosang, ever the strategist, looked deep in thought, as if weighing their options.
Suddenly, Destiny stepped forward, her voice steady. "I'll do it."
The room fell silent. Her crewmates stared at her in shock and disbelief. San was the first to speak, his voice trembling with anger. "Destiny, no! We can't let you do this."
Hongjoong's expression hardened. "Destiny, think about what you're saying. This isn't a decision to make lightly."
"I've made my decision," Destiny replied, her gaze unwavering. "If this is what it takes to get the map, then so be it."
San took a step towards her, his fists clenched at his sides. "You're not a bargaining chip, Destiny. We won't let you go through with this."
"You don't understand," Destiny said, her voice firm. "I have nothing to lose. This is my chance to prove myself, to show that I'm not just a liability."
Captain Black watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and intrigue. "It seems the girl has more courage than the rest of you combined. So, what's it going to be, Captain Hongjoong? Do we have a deal?"
Hongjoong looked at Destiny, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and admiration. "Destiny, are you sure about this?"
She nodded. "Yes. This is my choice."
San's face contorted with anger and frustration. "This is madness! We can't let her do this!"
"San," Destiny said softly, placing a hand on his arm. "I need to do this. Trust me."
San shook his head, his eyes filled with pain. "I can't lose you too."
"You won't," Destiny said, trying to reassure him. "I'll come back. I promise."
Captain Black clapped his hands, breaking the tense silence. "Well, it seems we have an agreement. The girl for a glance at the map."
Destiny took a deep breath and stepped forward, her heart pounding in her chest. Captain Black's men moved to escort her, but San grabbed her hand, his grip tight.
"Don't do this," San pleaded, his voice breaking.
"I have to," Destiny whispered, her eyes meeting his. "For all of us."
Reluctantly, San let go, his face a mask of anguish. As Destiny was led away, she glanced back at her crewmates, their faces etched with worry and sorrow. She was determined to prove herself, to show that she was more than just a burden.
Captain Black's men led her to a small, dimly lit room. She stood tall, refusing to show any sign of fear. A few moments later, Captain Black entered with Hongjoong, the map unfurled in his hands.
"You have five minutes," Captain Black said, a smug smile on his face.
Hongjoong stepped up to the table, his eyes scanning the map with intense concentration. He memorized every detail. Destiny watched him, feeling a strange mixture of pride and fear.
After what seemed like an eternity, Captain Black rolled up the map and gave a curt nod. "Time's up."
Hongjoong turned to Destiny, his eyes filled with unspoken emotions. "We'll come back for you," he whispered.
Destiny nodded, trying to keep her composure. "I know."
Captain Black's men escorted Hongjoong back to the main room, where the rest of the crew waited in tense silence. As Hongjoong joined them, San's eyes widened with realization. "No, this can't be it. We can't leave her here!"
"It's part of the deal," Captain Black said with a cold smile. "The girl stays."
San's face contorted with rage and helplessness. "We can't just leave her behind!"
Hongjoong placed a hand on San's shoulder, his voice firm. "We have to, for now. We'll come back for her. I promise."
Destiny stood between Captain Black's men, her heart pounding. She felt a cold dread settle in her stomach as the crew of the Treasure turned to leave. She watched them go, feeling more alone than ever before.
As the door closed behind them, Captain Black approached her, his eyes gleaming with a predatory interest. "You're brave, I'll give you that. But bravery won't save you here."
Destiny met his gaze, refusing to let him see her fear. "I don't need saving."
Captain Black chuckled, a low, sinister sound. "We'll see about that."
He motioned for his men to take her away. Destiny was led through the dark corridors of the ship, her mind racing with plans for escape. She knew she couldn't rely on being rescued. She had to find a way out herself.
As she was thrown into a small, dingy cabin, Destiny took a deep breath. She was alone, but she wasn't defeated.
Meanwhile, back on the Treasure, the crew was filled with a grim determination. They knew they had to act fast to get Destiny back. As the ship sailed away from Captain Black's stronghold, Hongjoong gathered his crew.
"We have the next clue," he said, his voice steady. "But we need Destiny. We will return, and we will get her back."
San, his eyes blazing with determination, nodded. "We won't leave her behind. Not ever."
The crew nodded in agreement, their resolve strengthening. They had a new mission now—to rescue Destiny and continue their quest for El Dorado. And they wouldn't stop until they had achieved both.

Judge Doom vs Judge Holden!
Conditions:
No other restrictions.
Scenario:
Judge Holden decides to assist Judge Doom in wiping out Toon Town for the fuck of it, helping to murder Eddie Valiant to ensure no kne discovers the atrocity until it's too late. With all of Toon Kind wiped away, Doom decides to murder Holden, realizing that he has no loyalty to him and can't be trusted to not simply kill him for laughs later.
Analysis: Judge Holden
The Old West. A time that lives on the myths and legends still told today. A time of nameless heroes, dastardly outlaws, and adventure everywhere you looked. Where every sheriff and outlaw honored the law of the sundown quickdraw. But, for all the Arthur Morgans and Good, Bad, and Uglies we fantasize about in this golden age of adventure, the real Old West was far less glamorous and far more vile.
The era of the cowboy was a dark and brutal one in reality. One where minorities were oppressed, to many people had guns, and people died of preventable disease. History runs in cycles. Yet, for all the ways that bloody days of Manifest Destiny may resemble the horrors of our modern day, we can rest easy that our era has never produced outlaws as heinous as the ones who lived back then. No man... no thing who lived back then or now has every matched the depravity of Judge Holden.
One day, there was a man. A tall, imposing man with a strange design. He was eloquent, intelligent, and acted broadly polite in the moment, certainly, but you'd be thrown by his appearance nonetheless. A tale, deathly pale man who moreso resembled a giant stone golem than a human. His skin bleached white, his smile stretched a bit too wide, and his skin completely bereft of hair. No eyebrows, no sunspots, no face fuzz. Nothing. One day, he walked into a town he'd never been to before, pointed at a preacher he'd never met, and announced with the certainty of God that that man was a pedophile and a predator, unworthy and incapable of reading the bible in his hands. The man watched with that same pastor get dragged out before the church and lynched. The man joined in the celebrations afterwards, passing drinks around the bar. And, when asked about how he knew that preacher was a monster, the man cheerfully announced he'd never met the preacher before in his life. Said man could only ever be Judge Holden.
With that story in mind, you shouldn't show any suprise that the Judge wound up traveling with the Glanton Gang, a band of scalp hunters and outlaws. Nor should you show any suprise that Holden was the most wicked and wretched among them. Suprise would imply a precedent that the Judge would do anything other than the most wrteched thing he could and I will not insult your intelligence by implying such a precedence. Just rest assured that Holden's atrocities, even those committed wuth just the Glanton Gang, are innumerable even next to your current imagination.
If you are in any way off put by themes of rape, slaughter, bloodshed, and war, then you'd best turn back now. Now four words could ever better describe Holden.
Holden saw wanton slaughter and the full depths of human evil as the heart of the American Dream. Nay, moreso than that, he saw war as God. It is with full awareness of his enemy's humanity, intelligence, and virtue that he pillaged that tribes of indigenous people. It is with full awareness of his barbarity that he raped one so hard he accidentally snapped his neck. The Judge acknowledges the worth of his victims, for it's what makes them worth killing. Holden and his gang, for it had been his ever since he set foot in it, committed countless atrocities in their march across the West. They would start a bar fight that killed a dozen people. They would lure away little children to never be seen again with candy, just as the Judge taught them too. And they would bathe in the bloodshed they caused as if it was God, just as the Judge preached.
But beyond his ability to turn an unextraordinary gang of cutthroats into demons in human skin, Holden seemed to posses a number of inhuman qualities himself. The Judge could smash a horse's skull in with a single blow, snapping the legs on which it stood in the process. He could create gunpowder out besalt and piss, can seemingly be in more than one place at a time, and can, be it through some trick of the campfire light or his own raw strength, throw a coin all the way around the world and catch it in his other hand. For the limits of man are like an unbound coin. Limitless when hurled into the dark. If there are any human explanations for the Judge's strange achievements, his Gang never found them.
Though, as with all evil men, the Judge would eventually move on from his current playground. When it became convenient, The Judge would slaughter them all, until only a young, foolish Kid remained. The Judge would hunt him for years. Watch as the Kid become the Man and appear before him years later unchanged. The Judge was not any older or kinder or wiser. Men like the Judge, if he be a man at all, don't change. They dance to the tune of the song in their heads into the music of the bloodshed stops.
And dance the Judge does with the grace of a naked cherub. He sings a song of slaughter, he dances to seduce Death. It is an artform dedicated to atrocity and as long as he dances he shall never die. Hear him call for mankind to join the dance here in this rotten old west. For as long as he dances, he shall never die. You cannot kill the Devil with the sin of murder after all.
Analysis: Judge Doom
Cartoons. Good old fashioned toons. The slapstick masterpieces that immortalized the earliest days of animation. For as much as names like Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny might be associated with childhood whimsy these days, their old shows could be shockingly dark by today's standards. And in a world full of sentient, living toons, no toon was more heinous and vile than Judge Dredd.
Judge Doom's real name has been lost to the ages (there's a comic that explains it, but the continuity is dubious on that so sush). With a suit of rubber skin, some fake eyeballs, and a fake name, he lives among humans, hunting down his own kind with a toon killing substance called The Dip. To break the metaphor down a bit, he's the member of a minority who does his best to imitate the dominant group, reap the rewards of his own groups oppression in a twisted sense of "fuck you, got mine". The real Ben Shapiro of the Looney Toons world.
To this end, Doom wanted to wipe out all of Toon Town. Not just literally erase the people who lived there, but erase any trace that they'd ever been there, replace the rubble of their homes with lines and lines of shops and businesses to line his own pockets until Toon Town may as well have never been there. Complete deletion. Fuck you, got mine. And who can even stop him?
Outside the Dip itself, Judge Doom is nigh invincible. Before the Dip was created, Toons were thought to be completely indestructible to the people of 1947. Given the first nukes were dropped in 1945, you could argue as far as them being able to take even early nuclear bombs, but that's an argument that relies on the assumption that WW2 occured the same in Who Framed Roger Rabbit as it did in our world. Popeye for his part did infamous fight a lot of WW2 racist stereotypes, so it's not impossible. Beyond that, any damage that a Toon takes will comically bounce offas the toon is crush flat, burnt to ash, or turned into a ghost before coming back like nothing happened. Judge Doom himself uses this to shapeshift his body in all kinds of horrifying ways, from literally glaring daggers to turning his arms into buzzsaws.
That being said, they aren't completely unstoppable. Toons are limited to what they find hilarious. If there's an opportunity for a gag, the Toon must go along with it, even if it is to their own detriment. Luckily, Doom thinks bloody murder is hilarious. And for all the effort Doom puts into looking human and hunting Toons, there are cracks in his fascade. He never blinks, his skin is made of rubber, and his movements are unnaturally stiff and even puppet like.
Ultimately, Judge Doom would put his everything into pinning one of his crimes into Rodger Rabbit to cover up his larger plan. This gets Detective Eddie Valient involved in the case, leading to Doom's plot being uncovered and his own dip being turned against him, melting him into golden sludge. A horrific end for a horrific and monsterous toon.
Throwdown Breakdown:
...I'm gonna be honest, I'm not sure I can call this one. I'm not entirely sure what they can really do to each other.
Any conversation involving a fight with Judge Holden is going to turn philosophical and literary. It's inevitable. He's a very philosophical, metaphorical character. He's the ultimate embodiment of his era of colonialism. He's Manifest Destiny with the mask off. And to that end... Judge Doom is just a more modern incarnation of that same evil.
Colonialism and gentrification are built off the same foundation and have the same end goal. "I want the stuff that is here and I want the people already here gone. I want all evidence that the people who are in my way were here wiped from this Earth so I can build shops and brothels and gold mines over it and make my money. I know what I do is wrong beneath all that I justify and I do not care. Blood and gold for the sake of blood and gold." In that sense, Doom cannot kill Holden because Holden is Doom. One judge just doesn't wear the mask.
But, by that same metric, Holden can't kill Doom either. Because Doom is a Toon. Without Dip, Holden cannot kill Doom, nor would he understand how Doom works in order to exploit his Toon nature, as Holden is from a different time period all together. I do think Holden is smarter and could likely manipulate Doom long term. Doom is every bit as self righteous and self justifying as those Holden has corrupted before, after all. And there's every possibility Holden could take advantage by doing something so horrifyingly evil even Doom can't find it funny. Doom is as bloodthirsty a monster as the Disney censors will allow, but Judge Holden is... Judge Holden. Even then, that remains circumstantial and given the fights set up, I find it unlikely for Doom to have let Holden get his hands on any dip up to now anyways.
Ultimately, what is capitalist displacement and gentrification if not an evolution of colonialism? It's the same way of destroying not just a people, but their very identity, jist modernized. Doom and Holden worship the same god, for to them war is God and God is hatred and greed and death and blood that washes down the American Soil ever since Columbus found it.
This Battle is a Draw!

Spoilers for C3E51
TURN BACK, YE CRITTER, IF YE HAVEN’T RIDDEN THE HARSH WAVES OF 51!
Winds of Change
A Tempest is unstoppable by most conventions?
So why, then, was she forced to watch the love of her life return and not speak his name?
Why, then, could she not caress the panes of his face and whisper: “I love you” as he and her Seedling stare down the mad Legend of the Peak?
Why, then, is she forced to watch him be torn away from again, to listen to his screams of pain as he is reduced and diminished into little more than a tool for the madman atop his warped tower?
Why, then, is she unable to help as she sees the Seedling and his allies scramble to do anything, anything at all, to stop the coming cataclysm?
She sees the defiant, tired faces of two strangers as they lock eyes with Ludinus, murder burning in their eyes.
And then she sees his confidence falter for but a moment as his machine sparks and sputters, and then there is not but white.
Marquet shakes with the might of the Maleus, but the world over, the effect is a ripple, an errant breeze, but even then, it is noticed.
--------
Vex’ahlia de Rolo awakens with a start alone in her room in Emon, the echoing call of a raven ringing in her ears.
She is crying...and she doesn’t know why.
But for a brief second, a flash of black fills her standing mirror, and she lungs out of it as her brother’s face momentarily appears, calling out, and then is gone.
“Vax?!” she cries, racing to the mirror and falling to her knees as she feels a deep hollow ache in her chest that had been silent for quite some time.
She begins to weep, resting her forehead against the chill surface, sourceless dread welling in her soul.
--------
“Papa?”
Gwen’s voice awakens Percy from a dead sleep, his hand shooting to the gun beneath his pillow as his eyes snap open, staring at his little girl. There is fear in her voice.
Something is wrong.
“What is it, darling?” he asks, sitting up.
“It’s Galdric, Papa.” she states, reaching up a hand to draw him out of bed, “He’s crying.”
He looks down at her in confusion, but then he hears it.
Echoing, mournful howling.
Picking her up in his arms, pistol in the other hand, he races from the front gates, numerous guards stepping to follow him as they watch their lord move quicker than he had in some time.
“Percival?” Cassandra asks, emerging from her room.
“Take her.” he states, handing Gwen over, “Keep her safe, please.”
She nods, confusion bubbling in her eyes as he continues on.
He skids to a halt at the top of the steps and looks out, and there at the base is the great wolf, head tilted towards the sky, faint whisps of silver light pouring from his jaws.
And there on the horizon, a flash of color and a thin beam of red races towards Ruidus.
Percy freezes, staring in confusion.
“Percy! PERCY!”
Pike’s voice draws him back, and she sees her slide to a stop next to Galdric, her eyes gleaming with unshed tears, her holy symbol glowing with golden light.
“What’s happened?” Percy demands.
“I...I don’t know.” Pike returns, looking up to the moons and scintillating patterns of the Apogee.
Galdric howls again, a booming call, defiance, anger, and sadness billowing from the great canine.
--------
She can’t sleep.
She can never sleep when Beau leaves like this.
She had wanted to go with her, to be with her, but Ludinus was cunning, his followers mind-warpers.
Too many times, her blade had found the flesh of her friends.
So instead, she sat in her garden, staring at the stars and flowing energies of the ley lines.
Hoping beyond hope that her wife was okay.
A flash of light draws her eye.
Deep Red Light.
The traumas of Cognouza race about her brain, and she stands, seeing a shifting diamond point of red light snapping and sputtering on the horizon line.
Thunder booms across a cloudless sky, and his voice echoes in her mind.
“Be. Ready,” he whispers.
And her stomach hollows out as her mind flies to Beau and Caleb. She goes for her blade. She leaves for the Coast immediately.
--------
Be Ready.
Those words echo in the minds of dozens.
From a little blue tiefling in the middle of the sea to a black-shrouded elf in the streets of Vasselheim.
A purple tiefling feels an itch in their brain as if something vast briefly rubs against a twisted yet forgotten wound.
In the heart of Rosohna Leylas, Kryn clutches her head as she feels an intense alien pain stab into her, followed by dozens upon dozens of abrasive voices. Not far away, the Beacons pulse red but once, and the Lord of Light’s followers will debate for weeks what it means.
--------
And under the chill boughs of the Savalierwood, two figures opposed in belief awaken and look to each other.
“Do you feel that?” Essek demands, getting to his feet.
“Mhm,” Caduceus mutters, stepping into the cold and letting the wind twist about his fingers, the bite momentarily colder than even the expanses of Eiselcross.
“The winds are changing.” Clay states, looking down at Essek, “Something is coming. Something...worrisome.”
“Caleb said...” Essek begins his heart stuttering for a second as scenario after scenario flitters through his brain.
“It’s Ludinus,” he states.
“I’m going to need some good tea, aren’t I?” Caduceus asks.
Essek doesn’t look at him, staring at the few stars that can make it through the corrupt boughs over their heads.
“Widoghast...you promised to come back to me.” he whispers, “Please.”
--------
A chill breeze licks across Dorian’s cheek, and he feels a chill run up his spine simultaneously; Morrighan freezes, clutching her head, ears pressing down.
They are haggard, covered in cuts and bruises, and so are the others, all of them standing around Opal, who has a distant expression, the crown on her head briefly gleaming with red light.
“You okay?” Dariax asks, looking up at them both.
They share a look, Morrighan’s eyes haunted by something he can’t quite parse, but some part of him draws out the sending stone.
“I...I think so.” he mutters, shaking himself, “Morrighan?”
“Be ready.” she mutters, “We need to be ready.”
“For what?”
The Spider Queen’s voice burbles from Opal’s lips, “So...so much.”
Fy’ra raises her staff, “Release her!”
“She needs me.” the Queen returns, and her eyes glint with malice and a hint of worry, “You all do.”
“Why?!” Dorian demands.
The Queen turns, and three voices emerge from her mouth, Opal, Ted, and her singing in choked unison, “For times they are changin'.”
She begins to laugh, a mad cackle that ceases as Opal slumps forward, Dariax rushing to catch her.
“What...what’s going on?” he demands, looking back at them.
Dorian flips the sending stone about his fingers, uncertainty bubbling in his stomach as the wind picks up once more, the gleaming light of the Apogee cascading across them at a more manic pace.
“Change.” he guesses, glancing over his shoulder from where the wind raced.
--------
Continents Apart the Bell’s Open Their Eyes.
The Omen Star Hangs Low.
Predathos Hungers.
Is it Thursday Yet?

Hey this is maybe a strange request but I was wondering if you had any good anime recommendations ?
I've been watching JJK and I've been left feeling a bit disappointed with the writing (it feels kinda all of the place and it feels like characters are dying just for the sake of dying)
So I'm kinda looking for something with darker themes and also maybe with supernatural elements, but that gives all the characters good arcs and development and also maybe is a bit on the happier side?
But honestly anything will do I'm just looking for some new stuff
I've been thinking of watching Vanitas no Carte so that one's already on my list
Hi, anon! I understand your frustration; the despair of the Shibiya arc had become rather gratuitous by the end of Season 2. :/
VnC was one of the first shows that came to mind while I was reading your ask, so you’re already ahead of the curve! Content warnings I recall off the top of my head include child death, nonconsensual blood drinking (which carries certain unpleasant implications in vampire media), use of children for scientific experimentation, and unsavory dynamics (aka the man repeatedly disregarding the woman’s boundaries) in the canon m/f pairing. However, the quality of the story and its unmistakable queerness still make Vanitas no Carte a worthwhile watch, in my opinion. And the manga is even better!
Some other recommendations I can think of, albeit with varying ratios of darkness to good character development and happy moments, are listed below. Please note that content warnings provided are based off my hazy recollections and thus are not comprehensive.
Mushishi
Though existing beyond the realm of human perception, the diverse array of primitive lifeforms known as mushi can warp their surroundings—and the people inhabiting them—in bizarre, sometimes frightening ways. As a mushishi, Ginko is one of the rare few who can see and interact with these creatures, and travels Japan lending assistance to those struggling to coexist with the mushi. Suffused with a quiet melancholy, this anime is perfect to watch on a rainy day with a cup of tea in hand.
Content warnings: Body horror
Mononoke
Nope, not the Studio Ghibli film that gave birth to the classic “I’ll cut your throat” ship meme. This 2007 anime follows the enigmatic and possibly immortal Kusuriuri (medicine seller) as he helps people impacted by mononoke, malevolent spirits that latch onto negative emotions. However, he can only dispel these spirits by uncovering their true nature and the reason for the appearance, forcing him to play detective along the way. Though a spiritual cousin of sorts to Mushishi, the two shows vary radically in style: Whereas Mushishi’s color palettes tend to be earthy and subdued, Monoke’s animation pushes the envelope with a dizzying, gaudy spectacle that could have come straight out of a drug-induced nightmare.
Content warnings: Violence (including violence against women), discussions of forced abortion, body horror, a highly questionable relationship between a monk and his sister, eyestrain (the colors are gorgeous but can be a bit overwhelming at times)
Otherside Picnic
College students Sorawo Kamikoshi and Toriko Nishina team up to periodically explore the Otherside, a parallel universe where urban legends pose all-too-real threats, growing closer over the course of their adventures. Fans of the light novels on which this 12-episode anime is based have criticized the differences in tone between the adaptation and the source material, complaining that the anime tends to come across as a bit goofier. However, as someone who went into the series blind, I had a fun time! Otherside Picnic also numbers among the rare examples of sapphic anime with adult protagonists, although most of Sorawo’s and Toriko’s relationship is relegated to slow-burn due to the short run time. Their black cat/golden retriever dynamic is still a joy to behold!
Content warnings: Occasional gun violence, body horror
Death Parade
The souls of the recently deceased are pitted against eachother in nerve-wracking games meant to uncover the darkest corners of their psyches so that beings known as arbiters may pass judgement on their fate—reincarnation, or eternity in the void. Alongside his assistant, Chiyuki, the arbiter Decim begins to gain greater insight into humanity while starting to question the very role for which he was created. This underrated gem will probably reduce you to a puddle of tears at least once, so have a box of tissues ready.
Content warnings: Violence, assault, suicide, depictions of alcohol use (much of the action takes place at an otherworldly bar)
Noragami
Hiyori Iki’s ordinary middle school life is turned upside down when a bus accident weakens the link between her body and soul, enabling her to perceive the gods and spirits in our midst…including Yato, a brash yet destitute young god without a single shrine to his name. How will their fates intertwine? Written along a similar vein to Fruits Basket and Kamisama Kiss, Noragami charms the viewer with its sillier shenanigans while ripping your heartstrings to shreds during the darker moments. Although the manga (at least what I’ve read of it) is superior, and the anime only adapts a handful of the original arcs, it still holds its own. And the OPs are excellent! 👌
Content warnings: Body horror, child death, suicide

Hey, everyone! Rainfall here, I just wanted to make this post to let you all know that I’m still very much alive! I simply haven’t been working on requests as I haven’t been in a writing mood
Plus as well, I’ve been dealing with some personal issues that are causing damage to my mental health which makes me view just about everything with a “Oh what’s the point…” type of view but don’t worry as things seem to be steadily getting better
In the meantime until I fully get better, I thought that I’d tell ya about the concepts that I’ve crossovered into One Piece that I’ve managed to somehow make work with some having some serious modifications to make it work
Hope you enjoy and let’s get into it!
!-MINORS DO NOT INTERACT AT ALL-!
!-POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNINGS-!
Sanji x Luffy, Potential Spoilers for Splatoon, Potential Spoilers for Poppy Playtime, Mind Breaking, Imprisonment, Shitty Government, Potential Butchering of Source Material
!-POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNINGS-!
!-MINORS DO NOT INTERACT AT ALL-!
Splatoon: Salmon Run
Basically I came up with the idea that there’s this thing called the Murky Sea in the One Piece world and it’s a place with really murky waters, there are a lot of legends and rumors about things below the water that attack the islands in the Murky Sea and Ships that travel through the water
For outsiders, it’s considered just rumors but for people who live there. It’s all too real as the Salmonoids in the water attack them quite regularly, this has caused a mink who lives in the Murky Sea simply known as Mr. Grizz to create Grizzco which allows the islanders to fight and protect against the Salmonoids
Mr. Grizz in canon Splatoon wants the golden eggs so he can make mammals return to the earth and is also the creator of Fuzzy Ooze but here he’s a genuine guy whose just trying to help although he does want the treasure that some of the Salmonoids drop which replaces the golden eggs
Grizzco has done a lot for the islands in the Murky Sea and they continue to operate even today using Mr. Grizz’s special ink weapons which do far more damage to the creatures than actual guns and weapons
Splatoon: Octo Expansion
So I’ve pushed Octo Expansion into One Piece in two ways so I’ll start with the first way that I’ve tried to make it work. Basically the first way is that if you’re able to find the entrance to the large underground subway which I typically call the facility then you’re able to speak with Tartar the Phone at the entrance.
In canon, Tartar is a phone created by a brilliant scientist who is supposed to help restore the world but just winds up trying to destroy Inkopolis but here it’s a phone connected to a very dangerous criminal of the same name who went missing ages ago
You can make a wish to Tartar who will tell you to give up something in exchange and jump down into the underground where you’ll be made to go through all the trials of Octo Expansion and climb back out in order to live in the world that your wish changed
In reality, Tartar intends on letting you die in there as he’s made the trials incredibly difficult so there’s hopefully no potential for escape and as to whether or not your wish actually came true or Tartar was lying to you, that depends on scenario for me
The other way that I have Octo Expansion in One Piece is that the Facility is still run by Tartar but now he’s some sort of freak who believes that the Marines don’t jail who they should and that they don’t give appropriate punishment either
So Tartar created the facility and started kidnapping people who they thought had broken the law in their own twisted views, Tartar locked them up in the facility and told them that the only way to serve their sentence and go free was to reach the top of the facility after completing all of the trials otherwise they would be locked up forever
Tartar thought this was a great idea and kept the prison hidden, he even created special contacts that could record what the person was seeing so he could keep better tabs on everyone’s progress through the trials and also send the footage to anyone who had ties to the Marines on the outside
What eventually got him caught though was that he locked up the S/O of Magellan, Sadi-Chan, and Domino after she came to investigate. He claimed that her crime was trespassing and threw her into the trials but when Tartar sent her recorded footage to Impel Down, that got him caught as no time was wasted in tracking him down
Care Bears
Nothing special here as there aren’t colorful bears with the power to make people care running around as they’re simply a bunch of stuffed toys that one of my OC’s who is Luffy and Sanji’s kid likes a lot like she’s associated a Care Bear with each member of the Straw Hat crew
Luffy: Friend Bear
Sanji: Grams Bear (Grams Bear is her favorite so that’s why)
Zoro: Good Luck Bear
Usopp: Share Bear
Nami: Proud Heart Cat (Used to be Grumpy Bear)
Chopper: Tenderheart Bear
Robin: Cheer Bear
Franky: Champ Bear
Jinbei: Cozy Heart Penguin
Brook: Harmony Bear
Yamato: Loyal Heart Dog
Gin: Love A Lot Bear
Pedro: Funshine Bear
Yes, I am a firm believer that Pedro and Gin would have joined the Straw Hats but anyways that’s not the point. The kid has also left some of her stuffed animals with others like she gave Brave Heart Lion to Ace and left Gentle Heart Lamb with Pudding, she also left Vivi with Wish Bear
Poppy Playtime
So basically in this world, Playtime Co wasn’t an evil company that tried to do unholy experiments with souls being implanted inside of toys as in this world. They were simply brought to life with the power of a Devil Fruit that I’m still trying to figure out the name of
The toys were genuinely meant to help people with issues that they were going through as they were created on a somewhat large island that had been under a really cruel pirates control until they were liberated and put under the control of corrupt marines
So the Devil Fruit user created them and allowed them to help people, they were doing a really good job and after the toys wound up protecting the island far better than the Marines did from a pirate attack, the world government had it’s interest peaked
They approached the Devil Fruit user and demanded access to the toys, she tried to refuse as they weren’t meant to fight but the world government usually gets what they want so they took the Devil Fruit user and broke them so they would listen to what the government wanted and command the toys
This is how they got their more fucked up appearances that they have in the actual game, the toys were used for whatever the government wanted to do but don’t worry as eventually after being deployed to hopefully deal with the revolutionary army on an island that they were on, they wound up getting free and being able to return to their normal purpose although the Devil Fruit user never returned to an unbroken state of mind
But luckily the toys are meant to care and help so that’s exactly what they did, they’ve pretty much become an unofficial extension of the rebels
Monster People
So this one is probably really self explanatory as I have a bunch of OC’s who are monsters like to list some of them off
Yuki Onna who is Dalton’s wife
Slime Girl who is Paulie and Iceberg’s wife
Cotton Candy Making Robot Lady who is the Charlotte Decuplets Wife
Snow Fairy who is Rocks D. Xebec’s adopted kid
Living Doll brought life via Devil Fruit who is Uta’s adopted kid
Selkie who is Laskey (Kalifa’s Dad) wife and Kalifa’s mother
Unicorn Lady who hypnotized a handful of Foxy Pirate members after winning them in a Davy Back Fight which was just her versus the entire Foxy Pirate crew
I do have a few others who are the way that they are via Devil Fruits like a Spider Lady who is the wife of Cobra, Pell, and Chaka alongside an Angel Lady who is Nika’s wife. There’s also a skeleton lady who is T-Bone’s wife too!
I think that’s it as my crossover with Cult of the Lamb is probably stretched so far from the source material of Cult of the Lamb that you can’t even recognize it but if you’d still like to hear about it then let me lnow
And thanks for listening!
