[chashmenaaz]

Al-A'la 87:8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرٰي ۚۖ

And We will ease you toward ease.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ (1) وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُوا مِن دُونِي وَكِيلًا (2) ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا (3) وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا (4) فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ أُولَاهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَّنَا أُولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُوا خِلَالَ الدِّيَارِ ۚ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَّفْعُولًا (5) ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ الْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا (6) إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيرًا (7)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) Glory be to Him, Who journeyed His servant by night, from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We have blessed, to show him of Our wonders. He is the Listener, the Beholder.

(2) And We gave Moses the Scripture, and We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel: Take no guardian apart from Me.

(3) The descendants of those We carried with Noah. He was an appreciative servant.

(4) And We declared for the Children of Israel in the Scripture: You will commit corruption on earth twice, and you will rise to a great height.

(5) When the first of the two promises came true, We sent against you servants of Ours, possessing great might, and they ransacked your homes. It was a promise fulfilled.

(6) Then We gave you a turn against them, and We supplied you with wealth and children, and We made you more numerous.

(7) If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for yourselves; and if you commit evil, you do so against yourselves. Then, when the second promise comes true, they will make your faces filled with sorrow, and will enter the Temple as they entered it the first time, and will utterly destroy all that falls into their power.

God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Surah Al-Isra

يُعطيك وأنت عاصٍ، أفيحرمك وأنت مُقبلٌ عليه؟

"He grants you while you are sinning; would He withhold from you when you turn towards Him?

Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said:

"Do not disperse your heart searching for love, safety, and completeness with other than Allah.

"You will not find that (with other than Allāh)."

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf to be sent to prison, deprived of his rights and denied justice, was the pen that wrote for him to become a minister, reigning over the treasury of Egypt.

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf’s brothers to dominate over him and throw him in the well

is the pen that brought them to Egypt, standing before Yusuf in need and at his mercy.

The same pen that took Yusuf from the arms of Yaqoub, returned him to his father years later as a Prophet and minister.

I do not know what may be written in my story next. But I know who holds the pen.

Shall I not trust the One who wrote the best of stories to write my story too?

Our spouse has already been chosen for us; so let's just be patient Inshā'Allāh. Fall in love with Allāh first and He will give you the right person that you deserve at the right time.
