I know no one cares about other people's D&D games but listen, LISTEN, our DM whipped out an 19 AC, 158 HP green dragon on our level 8 adventurers and in response, as a Hail Mary for our broken, battered, low health and low slots group, my Paladin cast Command. The dragon rolled a goddamn TWO on their wisdom saving throw. Absolute failure.

"What do you tell the dragon to do?" asked my bewildered DM.

And I said, laughing in utter shock, "I tell it to leave."

AND SO IT DID.

Just fucked off entirely! Just flew away! Fight averted! Game won! Battle over!

I feel insane right now. I told a dragon, who almost certainly would have killed us, to fuck off AND THEN IT DID.

I'm thinking abt that pretty fall leaves embroidery pattern post and about how like... it is categorically a repost, it's a reupload. right? a thing that is generally disliked. but because it's credited, it's genuinely boosting the artist in question. and it could ALWAYS be like this. reposting content could ALWAYS be a symbiotic relationship, but because sourcing back to the original creator of something is so uncommon, it's just easier to ask people not to repost it at all. and people still don't understand the difference. or they'll go to the effort of cropping out usernames/signatures to repost something, which is More Effort than literally crediting the creator of something you liked enough to want to repost. Like. I literally don't actually care if my own shit gets reposted, you have to understand. I just don't want it STOLEN. But "do not repost" is easier to write on my art than "you can repost this, but don't alter the image/remove my signature, don't you dare write 'credit goes to the artist' because that is not credit, please link back to my original post or someplace that you can actually find me. please use an actual link/url instead of writing a non-clickable link of my username, because making it text instead of a clickable link cuts the number of people who will go to the effort of visiting my own page in Half." Jason is a tragedy of his own making because he won't let his loved ones go. According to a decent amount of canon evidence and some common sense, he'd be a much healthier, more successful person if he didn't have this family.

Unfortunately, he keeps attempting to find a way to live with them. In varying ways and extents, Jason's loved ones have shown they can accept his death and move on, without his loss compromising their fundamental identity. Jason is the one who rips himself apart, burns himself, hides himself in costume after costume—all to transform himself into a monster too strong to be forced to unhook his claws from the people he loves.

You will pry his loved ones from his cold, dead hands. And after that, he'll come back for them anyway.

EULR-S2313 “Holt”

Holt time let’s go!!

- she’s an old EULR unit that works in Sierpinski-23’s medical wing, she takes care of both replika repairs and patching up gestalts. She’s known throughout the facility as one of the better medical units due to her experience and patients often request her not only for her skills but her company (she’s a terrible gossip even by Eule standards!).

- Holt was given her name from her tendency for hand holding both professionally to comfort her patients, and to generally show affection! Those who know her well also know that her name comes from her stubbornness for a EULR. When she sets her mind to something she refuses to let it go!! She does not take no for an answer! Especially when she’s caring for patients!

- She has a petty grudge against Storch Sieben. No one knows why, but the two of them don’t like each other and can’t be in the same room for very long unless someone wants a shouting match

- When a certain Kolibri unit had an accident in the mines, Holt fixed her face and then after learning that the Kolibri had lost her bioresonance and was being considered for decommission, pulled some strings and kept the decomm request at bay. This initially caused some friction between her and Kolibri, with Holt wanting to keep her alive and well, but Kolibri feeling purposeless without being able to hear her cadre. Although they got off on the wrong foot they grew close and spent a good deal of their spare time together (cue much teasing in the Eule dorms)

- Holt and Kolibri eventually became lovers, Holt had had a crush on her for a while and finally worked up the nerve to confess it. Kolibri felt the same and the two kept their relationship under wraps due to the already tense situation Holt had created in preventing her Kolibug’s decommission request. They still had each other and were happy for a few more years at least (there was much teasing and even more kisses in that time, they loved each other dearly)

- The mysterious illness infecting the replikas of Sierpinski-23 eventually claimed Holt though. During the infection she worked hard to try to treat ailing replikas, or at least bring them some comfort before they had to be put out of their misery. When Holt began showing signs of sickness, Kolibri stayed by her side in the medical office as her condition worsened to the point that she couldn’t recognize her lover at all.

- Holt couldn’t control herself and was confused and scared, she attacked Kolibug when she came to check on her that last day. Kolibug killed her in self defense and remained by her beloved’s side afterwards.

It's... Emu's older brother??

For context: one of my favorite, I guess series, of PRSK fanfic that I've read revolves around Toya's older brothers (he has bio siblings for anyone who doesn't know, we just don't know what they look or sound like, nor do we have any names for them). It's fun and I like seeing their dynamic. Iirc, one (or both) of them calls Toya "Little Maestro."

And one of them, don't ask which I don't remember, just so happens, to be exes with Shousuke Otori, Emu's second eldest brother.

Oh boy, I'm excited/nervous to share this - I wrote a song. About Tech Bad Batch.

I just had... so many feelings about him, and how his life/'death' (as an amazing, actually freaking groundbreaking autistic character, done quite dirty by the narrative's conclusion) was handled, the story choices and the fan reaction to them. Feelings of anger, betrayal, loss, utter confusion due to frankly bizarre story structure and simply falling into fog (where we can't see him) -

Anyway. It's been a lot. For a lot of us. 💚

So this is me processing... All That. And coming to the conclusion that even if aspects of it hurt me, ultimately, stories and the people in them belong to all of us, and our feelings about them are ours and real, even if the characters aren't. Much love to this show and fandom, always. And yes, I feel better now. This was therapy.
