many years ago i made a post about piropito's blind minecraft playthrough and how interesting it was to watch someone who plays relatively few games learn how to play the game with no help.

im happy to say, ive found another very very long playthrough of minecraft blind (no guides/no backseating).

this time it's a danish scientist who is resolved to make it to the end credits using nothing but his capacity to learn. this playthrough is much slower, and i find his perspective on the behemoth that is Modern Minecraft to be very enjoyable.

It's been months so you already know that they love her so much! SO have some hc and little things about them bc they deserve it!

You cannot tell me Oliver wouldn't run anywhere for Evie. Like, oh Evie wants a coffee/frappe? Oliver would take Betsy, go to Starbucks and come back with her order in less than five minutes. I did the coffee example but this applies to anything really. SHe just have to ask and he's all "On it!"

Also, Evie is definitely the first person Oliver goes to after he realizes The Thing.

Nellie sometimes forgets that Evie is actually younger and basically the baby of the group. Is it bc Evie looks older due of traumas? Is it bc she always hangs out with the main group and they're all older? Is it bc Nellie is a bit afraid of treating her like a child so she basically "age her up"? Probably all of them lol (I say lol but this is actually lowkey sad and angsty so yeah)

Also I need Nellie, Blair and Evie in Paris. They're iconic and I love them. Also Oliver, but these three would be something different, and I love it.

Oh! And Nellie and Evie will be the most sister-in-law in the universe and this is lowkey hilarious. Like, they will both marry an Archibald and their brothers are the most long-lived couple between their dramatic af group so yeah.

The last name Heywood is a name that carried weight, Oliver was aware of this from an early age. Being the oldest of the Heywood, the weight was heavy on his shoulders, he had always known what was expected of him. Oliver knew his role and followed it well, he tried his best to maintain the family image, to live within the lines. There was no room for him to stray. His wants were locked away, trapped and caged. He never remembered his wants or needs. There were two sides to Oliver, one side that his siblings knew so very well. He was loyal and protective, he had a kind heart and would do anything for the people he cared about, he would move heaven and heart for them.

The other side people saw was a cocky, sometimes serious, and logical side. A side that was dedicated to maintaining the image that his family had worked so hard for. This side helped him deal with his emotions; it helped cover his voice especially when it came to disagreeing with his parents. Oliver grew up involved in many different sports and activities, his father expecting him to be well rounded and believed he should be disciplined.

Since he was little Oliver had tutors in many different subjects, forced to learn different languages. As soon he turned seven, he was already riding a horse and responsible for one. Even at an early age, he was already attending events, surrounded by other powerful families. Boring events that Oliver hated and often get punished for missing and for not paying attention. A lot of eyes were on Oliver as he grew older, more expectations and pressure which at time felt like they would rush him. Oliver learned to keep that feeling a secret, learned to scream without making a word.

As expected, of him, Oliver was a smart kid, he was popular and had a charm that made people like him. Maybe it was his cold, cocky and serious side mix with his kindness. Oliver involved himself in sports, playing football and soccer. Making captain off his team, he also excelled when it came to academics, his interest in science biology and chemistry. His logical mind and photographic memory give him an advantage. It was no surprise that he graduated with high marks, being on the top of his glass. His grades and connections give him so many different options of top schools to attend. Oliver got accepted into Yale and which was where he completed his undergraduate with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a minor in business.

After completing his bachelor's degree, he decided to attend Tulane University, a private university, deciding to be closer to home. Since he could never escape, the powerful Heywood name followed him and once people heard the name, they always looked at him differently. It was in Tulane that he met Meyra. He had bumped into her by accident because he was distracted. Feeling bad he offered to buy her coffee after helping her pick up her books. She accepted, the two of them hit it off before running into each other again. Oliver and Meyra got closer and closer, eventually officially dating during the second semester.

Oliver was smart and started making a name for himself, wanting to prove to everyone that he could do something on his own and he was not one that rode on his family name. He knew so many people thought of that when they saw him and so he started a business, a bio tech company. Oliver balanced establishing a business, school, and relationships. Oliver was loyal and supportive. Their relationship was good and strong even when they were long distance when Oliver moved to New York to continue growing his business and when his business became a massive success, giving the Heywood name high recognition. Oliver spent his time between New York and NC Chapel Hill where Meyra got accepted and attended graduate school. Sending flowers often and making sure they talked every single day. Oliver was happy until things changed when Meyra was in an accident.

Oliver’s mom had never accepted his relationship with Meyra, opposing  due to her background but Oliver did not care. He had gotten the family ring despite his mother’s objection. Oliver had planned to propose but the accident and Meyra losing her family caused him to put it on pause. He was there for her every single step of the way. Helping as best as he could. For six months he was in NB while Meyra healed and recovered. After she recovered, they returned to NC Chapel Hill.

Oliver had left and ran some errands and came home to see that all of Meyra things were gone and all was left a note. Reading that note destroyed and broke his heart. He tried to reach her but could not. Heartbroken, Oliver moved back fully to New York to focus his full attention on his company which he did.

Six long years has passed since the woman he loved left and his heart broken. Oliver had decided to take a backseat and focus on himself. He is back in town, taking it easy and maybe finally facing things he had been running from.

Omg our partner literally read Oliver a bedtime story and he fell asleep for the night, that was fucking precious. Its also cute because he and the body were asleep but I (someone) was still awake and listening for a bit and they kept reading for a while. Idk it's just sweet. The second youngest son of eight boys but nine children, Oliver was born on New Year's Eve, his family calling him a sign of a good new year. His oldest brother was twelve years old and the next closest two. A year and a half later her mother died in childbirth and the family was never really the same.

As he got older his oldest brother went into politics eventually ran for Prime Minister.

With all of his brothers being in politics, or becoming doctors or lawyers, Oliver always felt out of place. He was much more creatively minded than anything else.

His father never made him feel bad for this and when he asked to go into dance and acting classes, and whilst he was good at the former, he was awful at the latter.

The years went on and Oliver found himself volunteering for productions wherever he could, both as a dancer and a choreographer. Truly his heart lied with the creation of it all.

He got his big break as an assistant choreographer on a West End show and he's never looked back, now getting to say that by career he's a choreographer.

I think that instead of being super apprehensive about Jason and him dating Roy, Oliver should take one look at him and then one look at Bruce and go oh, I'm about to be so annoying.

Oliver starts being so nice to Jason. So nice. Inviting him to family dinners. Giving him both his hero communications and personal phone number and telling him to call whenever he needs something. He gives him new tech and keeps updating his weapons and armor. He helps with missions and clean up and says nothing if Jason is a little rough, apart from patting him on the back and saying good job. He starts keeping his picture inside his wallet and has other pictures of Jason, Roy and Lian framed in the house and tells everyone about him. He starts calling him son-in-law first and then just son and then calls him a Harper and eventually a Queen.

At first it was just to annoy Bruce, but after the first time he tells Jason that he did a good job and Jason starts to tear up a little, Oliver goes oh no, oh I'm actually doing this now. This my boy now. I don't care if he and Roy break up or something, this is my boy now.

Bruce still thinks he's just doing it for the sole purpose of pissing him off, though, and he is so fucking mad. The Justice League meetings have turned into a Cold War zone.

Bruce starts to being so nice to Jason as well, forcing himself to ignore some of the more outrageous things Jason does, and Jason is so, so fucking confused.
